Do familiars have to be small and nonthreatning?

ill be making my two characters who will both be fourth years as the respective leaders of the two teams...for now at least they may be replaced later if the candidates are good enough. i may also produce other characters to fill positions but essentially think of each team as an army. each one has a general and the roles filled are like command positions. 1st years are recruits and cadets, 2nd years get into specialists and lower command, 3rd years are command for sure, with 4th years working as high command.

no they do not. but they cannot be too massive to be able to fit in a room. also when a legend uses their focus power the familiar will also power up, same with the weapon so familiars can actually have multiple forms.

mine are actually gonna be a centipede thats 6ft long base, and a bat made of bones and ghostly fire so...nah.

it could be a tiny chibi bull. use the focus and it stops being chibi, use the weapon and it starts standing up.

no you get all three but one thing for each. consider them the levels of your power. youve had them your whole life and you unlock your powers through fusing with them.

your born with the mark of the seal and the first three days of your life your body would emit metaphysical psychic energy out of the seal. this energy forms the trinket on day one, the weapon on day 2, and the familiar on day 3. then the seal darkens to become like a tattoo and stops spewing energy and you grow up as a normal kid until the focus power starts manifesting on your 14th birthday (no exceptions its a magic thing.) and your dumped into the academy to try and master the power.

Yes I was thinking a snake familiar for tisiphone and maybe it could power up to a small dragon but I'm not sure if that's too much, and I was thinking dual daggers for her weapon if that works?

i support all of these decisions. ill be posting the leaders today then ill get an opening up and make my first year student.
