Fantasy The Worst Pantheon: Live and Reloaded (OOC) (OPEN)

GravitysMomentuum - Joe
  • Username: GravitysMomentum

    Main Name: Joe

Other Names: The Great Harvest, Bringer of Civilization, Herald of the Farmer

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:
    1580694077141.png
    Sphere:
    Agriculture

Aspects: Growth, Farming, Famine, Production, Harvest

    Role: Outsider

    Associated Religion:
The Church of Joe, a large religious organization spanning nations. For every civilization must have some sort of agriculture and a sect of the Church. Every farmer worships him whether they know it or not either through a prayer or a sacrifice.

Most nations throw a great harvest festival in his honor every year and usually that satisfies him in terms of offerings. Other things his followers do are having small shrines to him in their homes.

    Dogma:
The farmer shall always provide. Whether he is poor or rich the farmer should be charitable as in his death he will join paradise. Once a follower dies, Joe sees how much they’ve contributed and based on that sorts them out. They either join his gut or continue farming in the afterlife.

    Personality:
A survivor of horrors and travesties, being from the old world. Joe is also thick skinned and insults barely graze him. Having a thing for fear as well as he tries to be scary.

    Backstory:
Joe lived as a farmer in a land of laws and regulations. He had a simple life until the Tournament. Most major nations in his world participated in it, and he was chosen to represent his country.

So his country’s patron god blessed him and made him champion. Given complete regenerative powers he took his shovel and scythe. The Tournament assigned him a partner, the Scarecrow.

Joe won every battle trouncing every opponent with his shovel. As he won the Tournament he was given a wish. Joe wished for godhood, while his partner wished to fuse with him.

This was done but the universe wouldn’t let him be a god in theirs. So they sent him to another, and now he was here. Ocaeril.

    Miracles:
    - To enhance living organisms to take on any feature through the power of farm magic.
    - To be able to grow plants to enormous sizes, e.g. the Beanstalk from Jack and the Beanstalk.
    - Slight weather control like making rain, and sunny days

Weaksauce Weakness: GM EDIT: A person who has never known hunger or hard labor, who has never had to work for their meals or fear they may not get to eat tonight, Joe is powerless against a man such as this, and he can be killed by such a person.

    Selee-01 - Yimor'Droth
  • Username: Selee-01

    Main Name: Yimor'droth
    Image result for light dragon

Other Names: The Eternal, The Abomination, The Living Thing, The Dragon, The Lightbringer, The Luminous One, The Sleeper.

    Gender: None, described as They/Them.

    Sphere: Light

Aspects: Energy, Lightning, Fire, Radiation, Electromagnetic Force

    Role: The Abomination

Associated Religion: Rare, pitiful cults. United under the banner of the isolated Temple of the Dragon, they practice their religion under the aegis of secrecy and seek to awaken their god from the depths of Their world. The cults are more frequent in the Jade Empire. Twelve Exarchs serve as the conduits of the Dragon's power, and wield Their will.

Dogma: We are the Sons of the Dragon! We are not going to suffer in silence, no! Never that! We will return our golden god to the world, and we will destroy all who defy the will of the Twelve Exarchs! Yimor'droth, we summon thee!

Personality: Once a being of incredible intelligence and alien morality, the Dragon has now fallen into a bestial insanity. Currently, They are asleep on a golden planet and have dozens of personalities struggling for command. If one were to take command, They would awaken fully. That would spell the end of the normal world, although the Dragon can create enough change through Their lucid dreams. Their Hall of Light, a planet, is thorny and infested with Angels. A seal is placed on the opening of a shaft piercing the North Pole, and requires two gods to open. This leads into the Chamber of Guf, which contains the Dragon.

Backstory: Once, an eldritch abomination of light and darkness was slain in the distant past by the Void Lord after the Abomination refused to preform his duties. From the corpse, the Lightbringer and the Nightbringer emerged and fought, cumulating in the triumph of the Dragon. The Dragon then was sent into the world, and hid away until They created a race of "Angels" and conquered the Lost City of Arqa. Eventually, They vanished with their Angels and City into the depths of time...

    Miracles:
Bolt of Fire: A bolt of fire, ranging from a campfire to a nuke. Can be explained as a meteor.

Madness: Any mortal who gazes upon the form of the Dragon will go insane. A god won't go crazy, but it's not good to look at it for too long.

Burning Luminescence: Yimor'droth glows brightly enough to kill most organic life.

Mutation: Yimor'droth can mutate life through radiation, and cultivate those mutations. Explained as mere monsters.

Mind Alteration: Controls the mind of a living thing. Explained as insanity or brainwashing.

Exarch Creation: In the event of an Exarches demise, They can create a new one. Explained as a magician.

Madness Dreams: A passive effect, explained by "just being dreams". Has negative effects on the long-term sanity of anyone within it's range.

Electric Storm: An unnatural storm, created by Them. Explained as a normal, if unusual, storm.

Weaksauce Weakness: A divine spear, dubbed Dragon Slayer, is the only thing that can injure Them. However, it takes three direct hits to kill. The Dragon Slayer cannot be directly interfered with by the Abomination, but Their will is striving to have it be removed from the equation. They have had little success.

    KolastoRPN - Helsa
  • Username: KolastoRPN

    Main Name: Helsa

Other Names: Queen of Darkness, Sin’s Leader, Twister of Souls

    Gender: Female

    Appearance: Like this.

    Sphere: Evil

Aspects: Sin, Corruption, Hatred, Tyranny, Villainy.

    Role: The Corruptor

Associated Religion: The Twisted. The Twisted are made up entirely of those that have been corrupted by Helsa. The Twisted are arranged into three ranks; low rank, mid rank, and high rank. The low ranking Twisted are psychopathic monsters, those that have been completely broken, incapable of even thinking of anything beyond destruction, conquest, and slaughter. The mid-ranked Twisted are those that keep their sentience, but don’t really have anything special to bring to the table. Thieves, pirates, corrupt noblemen. High-ranking Twisted are the only ones aware of their servitude to Helsa; only those that willingly join the Twisted can become high-ranking ones. Powerful dark magi, leaders of bandit hordes, battle-obsessed warriors.

Dogma: Only the High-Ranking Twisted are aware of Helsa’s involvement truly follow the religion. They believe that Helsa will allow them to continue serving her perfection in the afterlife, through serving as assets for her to use in the physical world. This is…technically true. Helsa takes low and mid-ranking Twisted and fully converts them into monsters that serve her every whim, while the High Ranking Twisted become beings called ‘Limbs of Helsa’, powerful and sentient creatures that carry out plans she cannot directly involve herself in. They hold no moral standards, and they convert others to the faith through simply corrupting them into evil beings…unless they choose to join. They tend to hide among the world at large, in order to tear it apart from the inside out. They think other gods are nothing but fools that don’t understand Helsa’s perfection, not worthy of being called gods. The High-Ranking ones anyway. They blame every other god for all the problems of the world.

Personality: Helsa is, simply put, a bitch. She takes active pleasure in twisting things into monstrous versions of themselves. She views herself as superior to everything else in the world, including other gods, no matter who they are or what they do. Helsa is fully aware of how the people of this world view her, and she doesn’t care. What do they know about perfection, when she’s greater than all of them? Helsa, in her own mind, is the smartest, richest, strongest, most beautiful goddess in existence. Especially that last one; she’s obsessed with her appearance. I mean, she does look pretty good. Helsa despises the other gods for rejecting her perfection when she was first formed, and ESPECIALLY hates the Warrior for foiling her plans.

Backstory: Helsa was brought into existence alongside the other gods, but unlike the others, Helsa kept to herself. She had been born incredibly deluded, believing herself to be the greatest of the gods, and that she was made to rule over the Pantheon. However, the others did not listen to her, refusing to follow her orders. Helsa isolated herself, certain that they would ‘come to their senses’…only to soon discover that they had begun creating without her. Overcome with pure fury at this, she began wreaking havoc on the gods creations, trying to bend them to her own will. She was foiled by the Warrior each time, but as time went on, she began taking pleasure in the corruption she wrought, caring about her original goal less and less. By the time the world was complete, Helsa had become even more of a monster than before; she only cared about wreaking havoc on the world and twisting it for her entertainment. If the gods actually kneeled before her and declared her their leader now…she’d destroy them just for the heck of it.

    Miracles:

Corruption of the Mind: The ability to twist the mind of anyone specifically marked by Helsa. The power of it varies depending on the person’s will.

Champion of Villainy: Those blessed by Helsa become stronger overall, and high-ranking members of Helsa’s cult will recognize them on sight, in order for them to help create legendary-class weapons for them. The success of the whole ‘legendary class weapons’ thing depends on luck, and materials.

Beast-Crafting: High-ranking mages of Helsa’s Twisted can corrupt people into nightmarish monsters through the use of powerful magic.

Weaksauce Weakness: Chocolate pie. (GM EDIT: It will kill her instantly.) It HAS to be chocolate pie.

    Churl - Ickol
  • Username: Churl

    Main Name: Ickol

Other Names: The Greatest Adversary, The Black Tongue, Jt’lr,

    Gender: Female

Appearance: A thin, sickly woman with ratty hair and a pair of antlers. If the antlers don’t tip you off when she’s disguised, the extra digit on each hand might. Otherwise, looking at her it is actually difficult to tell what species she looks like, having features that simultaneousky look like many different races and none of them, giving her an unnatural look. Mortals of all races can never decide if they think she is beautiful or ugly.
    ece65ccb46169c11a91989a5617007ce6f24a33e.jpg

    Sphere: Anthesis/Disorder

Aspects: Dreams, Lies, Chaos, Conflict, Severing,

    Role: The Destroyer

Associated Religion: Ickol is not a typical goddess, she doesn’t seek out many followers, she waits for mortals to unconsciously call for her in their dreams. The contrarians, the trouble makers, the revolutionaries, the curious. Saint and sinner alike join her ranks if they are best suited in their ambition through disruption of order, be it the law of the governments, the law of the sciences, or the laws of reality. As a result, there isn’t a single massive organized religion.

The exceptions are the Vril. While she is one of the more popular gods for goblinoid races, the Underdark’s Vril are the only species that completely worships Ickol. Her other groups of interest are the renegade mage’s guild know as the Still Liars, as well as the Dreamwalkers, the mortals she has taken a particular interest in and visited in their dreams, although most are unaware in their waking lives.

Dogma: Ickol cares not about her followers souls except to covet them from other gods, and as such simply sends them to a mysterious underworld.

Personality: Oddly enough for a deity claiming to be the destroyer and the queen of conflict, Ickol is usually an affable or even timid personality. The best way for a follower to earn her favor is to be ‘interesting’, although what will catch her eye is often unpredictable to mortal eyes. Often disguising herself and enjoying the mortal world, it is noted she often lies, and tells the truth only when it amuses her.

Backstory: When the new world was made, she watched. Unemotional, aloof, barely noticed by the other beings, if the gods knew of her future title it would have been cause for a laugh. She did not speak until the Trickster began to organize the gods, and then she subtly began to attempt to undo their work and manipulate the other gods. Of course, the fact the world exists shows she failed to sow the dissent she wanted. If indeed, this wasn’t what she wanted all along. Ickol showed an interest as the world was made rife with monsters and conflict, and would often tail the gods that seemed to be stirring up trouble, and later the mortals doing the same. A passive observer, barely interacting, forgettable. But watching with amusement, learning. The few times she took an active roll, it was very noticeable. It is known something about the creation of the world upsets her, but why is not known by any except for her. Does she wish to unmake the world, or does she wish for a bigger hand in forming it? What is known is that she takes an interest in all that would circumvent the current reality, figuratively but especially literally. And over the centuries she has played some role in many of the famous tales of all great figures, heroes and villains, rulers and rebels, for freedom, joy and peace in equal parts with tyranny, tragedy and war.

    Miracles:

Magical Efficiency: Ickol’s blessings have strange effects on magic. Illusion magic is much more powerful with her followers. The more a spell misrepresents the natural reality, the more easily learned and powerful it is, with the inverse for those that try to pursue the typical magical philosophy of flowing with the natural energies of the world. There is also an increased chance of a spell triggering an unintended effect, but the nature depends on if you have Ickol’s approval or ire. Ex: A follower that has disappointed Ickol tries to cast invisibility to escape detection, instead the spell casts a huge fireball. A follower that has earned her attention is able to accidentally turn an enemy into a frog.

Truth in Lies: If a follower of Ickol makes an oath of falsehood, they earn her attention. They must then set about doing whatever they can to make that falsehood true. If Ickol is impressed, she will give them aid in their journey.

Weaksauce Weakness: The more knowledge one has of her, the easier it is for mortals to be aware of her domains in the dream realms and seek them out. As one becomes more aware of her and interacts with her, a reoccurring image will appear in the background of their dreams, a blade from another world, still stained with the blood of a god that decimated the planet. If someone claims this sword, and it is touched by the tears of a god in genuine sorrow, then whether in the material or dream realms the blade can be used to cut her as surely as any blade would an unarmed mortal. This is the simplest method, but any weapon that meets the qualifications functions as well.

Edit: After the dragon slayer has been used to kill a god, it too is viable as a weapon. The tears of Tiamat, bottled by her cult as holy artifacts, are a likely source for the second qualification for either weapon.

Appearance: One of her antlers has broken in the fight with Original, and is taking a long time to grow back. Her teeth and fingers are now noticeably sharper, the latter appearing very claw-like. One of her eyes is now black with a red pupil, and tends to be ‘watery’ with Original’s ichor, yet it does not discharge nearly as much. Ickol is now taller, standing around seven feet in her default form. Her mane of hair is even more unkept, and now sports a very dark blue color, with hidden quill-like protrusions within.

She now wears a feminine, colorful tuxedo and suit coat, with dress shoes, a purple cane/microphone, and a large red top hat. She occasionally covers her altered eye with an eyepatch, or even bandages or masks that side of her face completely.

    Additional Sphere: Imitation

Additional Aspects: Duplication, Mimicry, Theft of Ideas, Flattery, Rip-offs

Personality: Ickoriginal is a very hard character to pin down. She is much more outgoing and eccentric as a result of inheriting Original’s theatrical side, and it appears she has gone mad from the fusion. With her now apparently lacking a filter (along with several screws) she seems to have been accidentally declawed and left a mere harmless, more honest annoyance compared to her two-faced nature from before.

In truth, she is a bigger liar than ever. Everything is an act: to others, to the world, to herself. Her fusion with Original has altered her inherent discomfort with the world into making it feel outright fake to her now. Her mental and emotional states seem to swing at the drop of her hat, but in truth she is now much more calculating now that she has the experience of two actors skilled at hiding their true selves. In a bizarre twist, although she feels more grounded and less aimless than before, she appears to lack even Ickol’s original far-off goal of remaking the world. Her true intentions and feelings are unknown.

Associated Religions: Ickol now holds claim to all of Original’s worshippers. His faux-pantheon cults have evolved into outright parody religions of the rest of the pantheon, and she shows favor to the Dopple, Mimic, and Changeling species now that they fall under her sway, but does not seem to particularly care for her Hedgehog worshippers.

    Additional Miracles:

Duplication: Ickol, and on occasion her cultists, can create imperfect copies of any person, place or object. There will be noticeable differences however, the most common of which being a difference in color.

Mimicry: Ickol can appear to anyone as virtually anyone else without resorting to illusion magic or her other sphere, however never perfectly. Her eyes will always resemble their true appearance, and her antlers are generally represented in some way, usually as an outfit accessory or tattoo, and on occasion she will look exactly the same as always with only minor variations, all depending on how much effort she puts into it. Her other sphere is able to help cover the gaps in this one.

Vicious Mockery: Ickol can mock someone so hard that it causes them physical pain.

Theft of an Idea: Intellectual property has no meaning to Ickol anymore, she can reach into the mind of any being, and pluck forth an idea from their mind, robbing the owner of their idea, and allowing Ickol to do with it as she pleases.

True Imitation: Ickol can almost perfectly replicate the actions of other deities so long as she witnesses them in person.

Minor Teleportation: Ickol can blink-teleport from place to place in a cloud of black pixellation.

Weaksauce Weakness: Original had not one, but three weaknesses, and has passed these on to his murderer. One of which being the disc-like artifact she now carries on her person, which if destroyed would render her as helpless as any antlered woman, rendering her physically at the state of a mortal. She keeps this disc concealed within her hat, on her at all times. The second, is her cursed passion for hide and seek. She cannot refuse a challenge, and if she is to be defeated, once as hider, and once as seeker, she will hide for eternity in shame, until her eventual demise. Third, any weapon created by a true artist, one whom has had one or more of their ideas copied by Ickol and made with the intent of destroying her, will be able to. This weapon doesn't need to be functional, a well-crafted replica pistol crafted with this intent could harm her as easily as a real one would a human.

    Revan4221 - Arceus
  • Username: Revan4221

    Main Name: Arceus

Other Names: The Orginal One, the Alpha Pokemon, The Original Spirt, The All-Father.

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:
    latest

    Sphere: Creation

Aspects: His Aspects are numerous and take the form of 10 Plates but he can only use one actively at time without harming himself, but he can change them on the fly. However they are also capable of being destroyed or stolen but they are almost always safely kept within a pocket dimension. Fire, Grass, Water, Dragon, Ghost, Psychic, Steel, Ground, Fairy, Electric.

    Role: The Shaper

Associated Religion: Arceus is seen as the creator deity of the world, he was the first god ever created and the one who started it all. Worshipers of Arceus are very diverse between all races with distance not being a factor as sometimes he will have worshipers on a remote island that that have never even had contact with the greater world.

Dogma: There is no real premium Dogma with worshiping Arceus other than acknowledging him as the Creator of the universe as a whole. Upon death his followers shall enter into his realm where they shall be judged for their actions. Those that did good will be allowed to stay within his realm as guests, Those that did badly will be sent back to the world of the living and reincarnated to start the cycle again and hopefully do things right this time.

Personality: Arceus despite belief is a very...human individual in the sense he is privy to emotional outbursts as much as any mortal. He cares for all life and especially for his sons and daughters but he does have a bit of a God-Complex in that he tends to get angry when someone doubts his abilities. He however still cares for them he is not angry he is just disappointed. Despite this he mostly acts like a caring father most of the time.

Backstory: Arceus was birthed from an egg Chaos birthed although it was an accident. He created the fundamental concepts of the universe but decided that doing this task alone was lonely and decided to create 3 beings along along with untold numbers of smaller entities called Unnown. These beings were known as Dialga embodiment of Time, Palkia embodiment of Space, and Giratina embodiment of antimatter, matter, and gravity. They helped forge the universe however with the creation of the universe Arceus’s power was shattered into his plates because he couldn’t adequately contain his nigh omnipotent powers any longer, Giratina was also completely unstable within the normal realm as his normal body was composed entirely of Antimatter. Giratina was given control over a dimension called the distortion world where all laws of physics were privy to change and where both antimatter and matter could exist in harmony, the distortion world was connected on a level to the real world without the other neither could exist and when Giratina leaves the distortion world he is forced to enter into a weaker form made of matter instead of antimatter.

    Miracles:

Arceus is completely capable of granting power to his worshipers as they gain the ability to bend the world in ways that are separate from magic as they gain the ability to control the concept of the universe itself. This power is no where near the ability to of full on reality warping but it isn’t capable of slowing down or speeding up time for a small area or individual, creating pocket planes, causing explosions, teleportation, and even summoning the Unown that when in enough numbers are capable of full on reality warping thanks to their existence as creation spirts of Arceus.

Arceus is completely able to create life on any level and even create Demi-gods without the need for another god’s assistance.

When Arceus’s power was shattered the plates remained connected on a fundamental level and Arceus is capable of regaining a fraction of his power by absorbing all of his plates once more but this form can only be held for a short amount of time and if done for long can harm him greatly.

Weaksauce Weakness: Arceus’s power was split between his plates and are capable of being destroyed, stolen, or even broken however the greatest weakness is their ability to be used as a weapon like a sword against him.
    Name: Dialga

    Gender: Male personality technically genderless

    Appearance:
    dialga.jpg

Role: Demi-God of Arceus and ruler of Time

Religious Significance: Dialga is part of the Creation trio and as such is a Demi-God of the highest order with some even consindering him to be a full fledged god.

Personality: Dialga is a prideful individual and holds his title proudly as without him time wouldn’t exist and can’t exist, he isn’t above shows of display towards the mortals of the lower world. However he takes his job seriously and won’t let anything get in the way of his job as the ruler of Time. He holds a sibling rivalry with Palkia although he does care for his sister even if he won’t admit it.

Backstory: Created at the dawn of creation with his siblings Palkia and Giratina he forged time into what it is today and his existence is tide to time itself as without him it would have no force keeping it together.

Powers: Dialga is a powerful Demi-God with control over time itself, his roar can distort or bend time, he can send individuals besides himself into the past for a short amount of time although he himself can’t time travel, he can cause time to loop forever, freeze it temporarily, slow it down, speed it up, and many other things involving it.

His powers don’t completely rely on time as he is capable of feats of power like launching blasts of pure draconic essence, create shields, fire beams comprised of the essence of steel, breath the elements, and use psychic abilities. The scale of these attacks vary with some capable of wiping out entire cities, islands, mountains, and countries.

    Poetic Prose Master - Assyrian
  • Username: Poetic Prose Master

    Main Name: Assyrian

Other Names: Fist of the Red Star, Light of Wroth, Brutal Blade, Unbreaking Idol.

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:
    1b1b4862f02eaa6f2eb23d72309fe326.jpg

    Sphere: Martial Arts

Aspects: Fury, Ideals, Defiance, Power, Cultivation

    Role: Warrior.

Associated Religion: The Religion of this God is based on temples that defend an absolute peace with the threat of total violence. Those in them devote themselves to becoming living weapons and mastering their internal energies for use in combat. His followers if not Temple Masters are wandering fighters that devote themselves to some high principle or another. Giving their lives to a cause and willing to shed oceans of blood to fulfil their chosen purpose. Temples are seen as holy ground where these ideals are to be discussed and fighting to the death is forbidden

Dogma: Peace is a lie but the most important one. Ideals are always to guide purpose but the world is one of war and conflict. The only way to achieve the dreams of the heart is to embrace this violence and accept that chaos and discord are the means of revolution and transformation. Principle and spirit are the most fundamental foundations and laws, kings, lords and all other external forces to the internal truths of the heart are to be ignored, and if needed, destroyed.

Personality: Assyrian is boisterous and fond of bold claims when it comes to his beliefs. He is unrelenting in his quest to both instruct others in resistance and his devotion to conflict with the forces of the world he dislikes.

Backstory: Assyrian was was a martial artist who prioritized power and influence over the world through his fist over the peaceful philosophy others espoused. Ascension into a God was not some divine means of purification but a way to further increase the level of physical force he could use to change the world for the better. Since coming to this new world, he has endeavoured to teach mortals how to better fight, inspire and teach guardians among the oppressed and broken to defy the laws of rulers and acts as a force unconcerned with the calamity he might bring, as long as it brings the world closer to a day where no sword will need to be drawn again.

    Miracles:
    • His physical blows shatter and obliterate whatever it is struck as if it was torn apart on an atomic level.
    • His sword splits the electromagnetic field of the planet, causing disastrous effects and a sheet of extremely powerful plasma
    • His body has been conditioned to the point extreme temperatures, corrosive substances, titanic physical forces, destructive sorceries and other forms of trauma are reduced in effectiveness against him.
    • Those who fight for a blinding ideal that they would give their life to can force their body to push its limits and unlock new levels of power as the inner channels of the body are forced to awaken.
    • Harnessing the energy of his burning soul, he can fire off highly concentrated blasts of raw energy and force in various projection shapes
    • He can harness the rage and fury of the world around him to increase his strength.
Weaksauce Weakness: A blade must be made, not from forging using fire but pure river water. The hilt must be made constructed from grass, the guard from leaves and the blade hammered only with stone naturally carved by the ocean. The one who does the forging must purge all negative energy and intent for their being and make a blade unable to kill any living thing. The forging must be done with songs of joy and peace for nine days and nights with the sun and moon bearing down on the blade as the forger holds it up to temper its metal. If he is struck with this blade, it deals nigh-fatal damage.

    Barbas - Baldur
  • Username:Barbas

    Main Name: Baldur

Other Names: The Devourer, God of Oppression, God of Tyrants, The Enslaver

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Baldur’s appearance is that of a giant, monstrous bat with blazing red eyes. Aside from that, Baldur has been known to take other forms, such as that of a horned beast or a three-headed dragon.
    1571283564807.png

    1571283603809.png

    Sphere: Power

Aspects: Domination, Corruption, Greed, Destruction, War

    Role: Outsider

Associated Religion: Cult of Baldur: A religion that is based entirely around the acquisition of power.

The worship of Baldur can be found all over Ocaeril, though it is not a religion that is rarely practiced publicly. This is primarily due to that fact it is often seen as being “disruptive” or “horrid”. Reasons for this vary, but the most common one is that Baldur’s influence has a reputation for being a source of strife and calamity. Another reason is that sacrificial offerings are a big part of the religion.

The Cult of Baldur has a rather diverse set of practitioners that ranges from mad men living in the middle of nowhere to powerful rulers. Most tyrants worship Baldur, and in times of war, it isn’t uncommon for nations to start giving Him ‘offerings’ in a bid to gain His favor.

As for the afterlife, the vast majority of His followers believe that upon death, Baldur recruits them to serve in His army of immortal spirit warriors. This is a lie. In reality, the souls of His followers are sent to a Hellscape of unimaginable torment and horror.

Dogma: “Power at any cost.” This is pretty much the only thing Baldur’s worshipers believe. The sole belief of the Cult is that power is the only thing that matters in this world, that the easiest way to acquire it is by worshiping Baldur.

Personality: A horrid, sadistic creature prone violent fits of anger Baldur isn’t exactly what you would call a nice God.

Backstory: Born from the corpse of a terrible creature of darkness, who was slain a being that was even worse, Baldur floated aimlessly through the void of time and space, devouring anything He could find, and constantly trying to find new ways to levitate his eternal boredom. But after the creation of the world known as Ocaeril, His long journey finally came to an end. Making the new world His 'home', the God of Power set about forging a religion that would hopefully spread throughout the whole world.

Weaksauce Weakness: Happy or upbeat music being played within earshot of Baldur will instantly kill him.

    Miracles:

    • Grants Demonhood to those who sign a contract with him

    • Bestows powerful artifacts

    • Can cause devastating disasters

    Username: BlackCat-055 BlackCat-055

Main Name: Inqui Rey, The Former Aspect of Aqua (import from a previous god rp!)

Other Names: Slime Goddess, Slime Queen, The First Hero, The First Adventurer, Blusiey, The Patron of Heroes

    Gender: Female

    Appearance:
    slime_god_by_ram_gier_dcstrlt-fullview.png
    0321dc5defccf289e4733ea56a9487cb.jpg

    Sphere: Heroism & Light

Aspects: Miracles, Tragedy, Journeys, Exception/Diamond in the Rough, Legends, Energy, Lightning, Fire, Radiation, Electromagnetic Force

    Role: The Outsider

Associated Religion: (WIP)Due to Inqui's nature as a Slime-based being, she has two "religions" based on her, the one that's instinctual among all slimes, their creator and apex model of all of slime-kind, they treat her as their goddess and are willing to do anything to please her, it's not well-structure though, so most of the time slimes simply just go on in life doing things on their own, however they still have core things that they do based on their goddess' sphere, they actually let themselves be slaughtered by adventurers and heroes although with some resistance, that is because they fight them yet spare them so that they could train themselves into becoming more experienced as heroes and adventurers.

The other is more...let's say vague, among humans and other sapient species, they don't fully know her as the goddess of heroes, but they know that there is a figure, one that is the patron of all heroes and legends among their races, and her name is called, whether it is to ask for a hero to save them from an impending disaster, a young fledgling hero asking her for guidance, or even a seasoned hero asking for help in a tough situation that they cannot escape from, she is called to help them, and help them she does. They don't know her true identity, for she has many identities in each society, for example in the Empire, she is the First Adventurer, a young mortal who has ascended to godhood when they fought against beings greater than themselves for a greater purpose, in the Jade Empire she is Kaguya, born during the winter solstice, she is the one who as a princess fought against her nation's enemies all by herself, and even in the monster tribes, she is venerated as the mother of their greatest warriors, of course these are all simply legends in nature and her own origins is far different than anyone can know.

Dogma: (WIP) For Slimes, it's simple as do their own thing, fight adventurers and heroes so they can train to become stronger, and serve Inqui in anyway they can.

When Slimes die, they go to the Slime Fields attached to the Throne of Heroes.

Aside from her illusive nature as a being to call upon for heroic-related matters, when heroes and great people that're diamonds among the common rubble, they go to the Throne of Heroes, a sort of Vallhalla kind of afterlife where they get to enjoy their greatest desires and to continue training to become heroes, there they wait till they are called by the Throne or Inqui to be summoned to help people in need or any needs of Inqui.

Also in an ironic sort of matter, due to her illusive nature and as the goddess of slimes, adventurers and heroes not in the known will try to find and defeat the "Slime Queen", when they do find her, since Inqui doesn't want their efforts to be for naught, she then fights them with her capabilities limited as to give them a fighting chance.

Also any fledgling heroes or adventurers who start on their "hero's journey", they gain the "Blessing of Inqui", there they get this sort of plot armor that protects them from dying until they fully mature as heroes and are able to defend themselves fully.

    Personality:
Inqui is a fidgety kind of gal, she's shy and stutters constantly, but she is very adorkable and does her best to fulfill her ideals.

She is completely idealistic and even though she festers all of the world's evil in her, she still strives to be a good person and to help others, she can never truly hate someone as she always forgives even the most evilest of beings (yes even a god of evil).

    Backstory: (WIP)
Inqui didn't came from this world, she actually is an aspect of a goddess from another world, that world is called Elayra, there many things happened, but what's important in this background is that with Inqui, she was birthed by Aqua (yes that Aqua from Konosuba) alongside two others to make the Grail, the caller of heroes to make this tournament, during that time Inqui was a participant and trained under the Throne of Heroes, but a mishap happened, you see, the Grail had a piece of a dead god of evil powering it, as such, more evil figures could be summoned, one of them was named Angrya Mayinu, he was but a simple boy who held every kind of evil in him, thus All of the World's Evil, he found Inqui and decided to make her break, but she did not, no matter how many horrors and depraved actions she showed to Inqui, she never faltered and always stayed through, as such, she was considered the second wielder of All of the World's Evil.

Other stuff happened, but how she came to Ocaril was through this:

She and Tanya were involved in an experiment headed by Hermaeus Mora to see if they could reverse-engineer the isekai process used by Aqua and her aspects to summon heroes and artifacts from other worlds, which they would then use to go to other world, however there was a problem in the process, causing Inqui, Tanya, and Merlin (Tanya's "mentor") to teleported to Ocaril with no chance of getting back.

When Inqui landed on Ocaril, Tanya and Merlin landed on top of her, shattering her into millions of pieces, the biggest one reformed back into Inqui, but the rest of them slowly formed into what are the precursors of Slime race.

Inqui, Tanya, and Merlin explored the world they found themselves in, they went around helping people in need, meeting the factions, and generally just doing their own things, however due to the primitive state of the world they found themselves in, Inqui's actions of helping and saving people in need has made her the "first" hero, as such stories and deeds of what she has done were spread around, exaggerating and twisting themselves into the origin myths of the Patron of Heroes in the modern times.

But what did Tanya and Merlin do? Well, they too did their own thing, but due to Merlin's mysterious goals and Tanya's ambitions, they eventually made a faction of their own, it was a kingdom situated in the north-western parts of Ocaeril, its name was Camelot, there Tanya ruled with a velvet-lined steel glove, strict yet seemingly caring, harsh yet just, there in Camelot, through the magical potential of both of them, magical creatures like Faes, Elves, Dragons, and strangely enough, tamed Slimes live in peace with the more humanoid races like Humans, Gnomes, and Halflings, all living together, loyal to their ruler, the First Champion of Inqui, Tanya herself.

Camelot is very isolationist, with only the native citizens, heroes and adventurers blessed under the mark of Inqui, and other permitted people being the ones who can even find the place, if not, then even if they drew maps, they will simply get lost, but strangely enough, they are also traders, trading with anyone willing to trade with them and not attack them. Also with the machinations of Merlin and his prodigal protegees who're of the caster sort, and the Gnomes themselves, they're a bit higher than usual in the tech level due to their magitech, however they can't curbstomp everyone because of this fact nor are they willing to unless needed, the citizens of Camelot, due to their ruler's blessing from Inqui, all have the potential to become heroes, which is of course what they do, aside from travelling Ocareil for trading, they also travel around helping people in need, exploring places, and just generally doing adventures fit for a hero.

    Now what about Inqui?

Well aside from being the "First Hero", Inqui also established two, well technically three systems, the Hero Summoning system, and the sub-system under it called the Grand Order system, and the Adventurer's Guild, during her time in Orcaril while she had many adventures.

Eventually she got tired, yes it was fun, but as the first hero, she was forced to help everyone who went to her and she found, at first it was fine, she was a goddess after all, she took it with heart and helped everyone with smile, but as the requests for help came more and more frequently, causing her to go help more and more round the clock, after days of these turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to years, Inqui had enough, as the goddess of heroes she still wanted to help people, but she felt her energy slowly being drained away by the ever endless fighting and troubles she had to resolve, as such, she decided it was time to pass on the torch.

She did two things, one she placed a blessing of her own unto Tanya, denoting her as the Second Hero, Tanya and her nation would later on go on to become filled with the potential of heroes, to continue on Inqui's legacy, but Inqui knew that Tanya had ambitions and ties, ties that would make her wary to incur exceptions to the receivers of Tanya and Camelot's help, and so Inqui with Merlin wandered the land, they found promising people and fostered them into heroes and adventurers of their own nations, they never discriminated, any they found with potential, they fostered it, they also founded the Adventurer's guild so that people can train to be heroes without the help of Merlin and Inqui.

Soon enough heroes were a common sight, but she knew that the people would still go to her, because she was the first and thus she would be the most trustworthy to ask for help, and she knew they were right, but she had to make sure that they couldn't rely on her, for both of her and the mortals of Orcaril's sake.

And so she devised a plan, she knew from Merlin that her deeds were akin to a legend, an epic if you will, and was it not that the heroes of the old always faced against an unstoppable enemy? Well she devised a plan, she split herself into two, one continued to be the First Hero, but the other, oh she was different, she mustered up forces, monsters summoned from Heroic Servants she summoned, slimes followed her and were twisted into greater forces than ever, then she reveaed herself to Orcaril.

She was the Slime Goddess, the primordial being that all slimes were birthed from, and she awakened to take her rightful place as the ruler of Orcaril, of course it wasn't true, it was a ruse, a long-term plan to rid Inqui from the mortal radar, to let her take a more hands-off approach, of course it had to be convincing, and so the Slime Goddess constructed a large island in the middle of Orcaril, there they landed raids against everyone, but they made sure it was never too much, only enough to arouse panic, and when the heroes of young couldn't defeat her, they turned to the First Hero, she accepted with glee, afterall it was a plan going right, and to make it fully believable that she wasn't unbeatable, she aroused a large army composed of heroes, to give everyone the perception that she wasn't all invincible.

The heroes attacked the island of the Slime Goddess and there a giant battle took hold, heroes against corrupted villains and monsters, it was all glorious, and in the middle was the Slime Goddess and the First Hero, their battle shook the very island, and eventually the First Hero sacrificed herself, she used her soul to power an attack that would destroy the Slime Goddess and her island of evil, and it worked, the heroes evaded and a giant beam rained down from the sky and engulfed the entire island, when it dissipated, the island was gone.

The heroic army sighed in relief, it was done, the threat was gone, but before they could celebrate, the spirit of the Slime Goddess roared upon them, foretelling her second coming, but the voice of the First Hero called back, she told that she too will come, and she will prepare, building an army composed of the souls of heroes so that when the Slime Goddess' second coming will come, they will come too, and they will settle everything once and for all.

And so the Throne of Heroes was opened, the souls of the heroes in Orcaril will come together there, they will feast and enjoy, but they will also prepare and fight, for they will make sure that the Slime Goddess won't win.

Inqui high in the throne? She simply patted herself a job well done.

    Miracles:
-Use the Throne of Heroes to summon heroes to those in need of it
    -Empower people to become heroes
    -Create Heroes
-Inflict miracles of her own to help people
-"Incarnate" as "The First Hero" to help people
-Bolt of Fire: A bolt of fire, ranging from a campfire to a nuke. Can be explained as a meteor.

-Madness: Any mortal who gazes upon the form of the Dragon will go insane. A god won't go crazy, but it's not good to look at it for too long.

-Burning Luminescence: Yimor'droth glows brightly enough to kill most organic life.

-Mutation: Yimor'droth can mutate life through radiation, and cultivate those mutations. Explained as mere monsters.

-Mind Alteration: Controls the mind of a living thing. Explained as insanity or brainwashing.

-Exarch Creation: In the event of an Exarches demise, They can create a new one. Explained as a magician.

-Madness Dreams: A passive effect, explained by "just being dreams". Has negative effects on the long-term sanity of anyone within it's range.

-Electric Storm: An unnatural storm, created by Them. Explained as a normal, if unusual, storm.

    Weaksauce Weakness:

    Inqui has 3 weaknesses.

Her first one is that when she is challenged to a dual by someone who fully knows that dueling her is one of her weakness, then she is forced to accept as she fights them with her all, it is a tough fight, but in this and the other is the only way for a non-godly being to defeat her, there is a way that can be easier for non-divine beings to fight her, if you challenge her to a duel of class cards, then she shall fight you with her own creations, class cards, which're the physical manifestation of heroes and their legend, you are allowed to pick five, and those cards can be used to empower you to the levels of the great legends, although you can only use one, and Inqui is forced to use five of her own also, in there, her godly strength is limited to the ones in the legends, but do note, those heroes in the class cards are very strong lots of time, so it won't be easy.

For her second one, she has her own realm, her afterlife, it is called the Throne of Heroes, it is in a different plane from Ocaeril, but if someone can manage to get inside, whether through sheer-force or cunningness, they can locate its hearth in the center, if they destroy it, not only will Inqui and the Throne of Heroes die, so will any current hero or adventurer alive that is empowered by Inqui in Ocaril, and if it is destroyed, then heroes cannot be called on to defend people in need, although if Inqui dies through the other method, then the Throne of Heroes simply lives on, continuing to do its purpose of summoning heroes to ones in need.

A divine spear, dubbed Dragon Slayer, is the only thing that can injure her. However, it takes three direct hits to kill. The Dragon Slayer cannot be directly interfered with by the Abomination, but her will is striving to have it be removed from the equation. They have had little success.

    Stikes - Kurantse
  • Username: Stikes.

    Main Name: Kurantse

Other Names: The Merchant, The Dealmaker, The Golden God, That AnCap Scumbag.

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:

    Sphere:
    Mercantilism

Aspects: Trade, Value, Wealth, Industry, Profit.

    Role: Trickster

Associated Religion: For the most part, worship of Kurantse is widespread, but rather casual. To most, he's little more than a charm of good fortune similar a maneki-neko. People looking to turn a profit, legitimate or not, will offer up small sums to idols or shrines dedicated to him in exchange for success in their endeavors.

However, there are those who truly revere The Dealmaker. Many of people are at once clerics and powerful wielders of money and influence, though there are also those who are simple misers and crooks. Counted among their number are the many of the world's most successful businessmen and crime-lords. They have no official churches, but form secret cabals and alliances, wheeling and dealing behind closed doors.

Dogma: Kurantse's dogma is, essentially, the pursuit of personal gain through any means. In all situations, you should seek to put your own interests before those of others'. Many people have come up with pithy sets of rules, but they all boil down to this, in the end.

Upon death, The Merchant's followers' souls are taken to Kurantse's planet. There, their worth is weighed. The more greater their achievements, especially regarding money-making ventures, the heavier their soul. The more weight to your soul, the further into the planet you descend, finding greater and greater pleasures the deeper you go... At least, that's what he tells everyone. The truth is, having a heavier soul just means that it can be transmuted into more money than a lighter one.

Personality: Outwardly, Kurantse has an incredibly outgoing and energetic demeanor, speaking fast and with a sharp wit. He acts with the practiced bluster of a seasoned car dealer, and often takes wild risks, so others might think of him as a nothing more than an overconfident con-man - but that's their mistake. No, behind his fast talk is a coldly calculating mind, constantly scheming, always balancing costs and returns, risks and rewards. He also a massive opportunist, and will squeeze every last drop of benefit out of something whenever possible.

Backstory: When he was first brought into creation, Kurantse's first though upon seeing the empty universe was of opportunity ; there has never, before or since, been a better investment. However, the god of Mercantilism was largely useless without a world to trade on. So, he hatched a plan - he'd offer his assistance to each of the gods with the things they couldn't do, then, when they asked for his help, he'd have another god do it and take the credit. By the time the other gods figured it out, the world's fledgling societies were learning to exchange goods and services, and he finally had the influence of a proper deity.

Additionally, Kurantse constructed his planet. At first it was a tiny rock, barely even worthy of being called an asteroid. However, between offerings to him, the soul-weighing system, cash magic, and Kurantse's own money-minting powers, the rock has grown into a proper planet, it's surface almost totally composed of currency and valuable items. It is nearly barren of life, aside from some divine/elemental entities and currency mimics.

    Miracles:
    • Complete physical manipulation of money, and other items of value to a lesser extent.
    • Opening portals to his planet, either on the surface, or below ground, to crush people under a torrent of money.
    • Summoning of Avatars of Debt.
    • Economy Manipulation.
    • Probably more, but this is the main stuff.
Kurantse will sometimes give a marvelous gift to his truly devout followers, known as "Cash Magic". He whispers into their mind the secret of a ritual which, when cast over an item of value*, "claims" it for the caster. Doing so provides a small amount** of tactile telekinesis to the claimant. This can be any number of times, to any amount of valuable items. However, users must be wary, for the more value they claim, the greater they are urged to claim more and more. Should they ever be unable to satisfy this urge, their power will disappear along with the claimed value, and they will be barred from ever using it again. Furthermore, should a claimed item ever be spent or stolen, the claim fades from it, making the user weaker.

    * "Item of value" is defined as a currency such as coins or banknotes, resources such as gold, silver, or gemstones, and items like jewelry or weapons.
** "Small amount" really does mean a small amount. The value claimed must be in the thousands to even have a significant effect, and needs to reach the millions range for soloing an army to be a consideration.
Should one desire, they may request that Kurantse lend them a desired sum of value. This is usually just money, but can also be raw materials or items such as weapons or jewelry. Most who request a loan aren't granted one, though those higher in business and his worshipers in particular are more likely to receive. Anyone who is provided with a loan is, of course, expected to pay Kurantse back with interest. Most of the time, he just takes material wealth, but occasionally he will instead reserve a favor with the borrower to be cashed in at a later date. Should the borrower be unable or refuse to pay Kurantse back, he will either send an Avatar of Debt after them, or smite them directly and seize all their assets.

Weaksauce Weakness: If a mortal is completely lacking in possessions of monetary value (not counting things such as organs), whether by choice or circumstance, he is unable to directly effect them. Additionally, any attack used by such a person wounds him as it would any mortal.

Associated Religion: Transmundanism: Disciples of Rhubarion are simply referred to as transmundanists. Acolytes possess small chains, containing a vial of virtuous-fluid (the confirmed D.N.A of a gamer-girl). Communication with Rhubarion is primarily executed through a dark-web message board. Certain sacrifices are committed by followers; in exchange, digital currency is granted. The more egregious the task, the higher the pay. This currency can later be used to fully communicate with Rhubarion.

Dogma: Acolytes believe that all material within the universe is composed of conspiracy. Essentially, there always remains the veiled bad-guy, regardless of the alleged destruction of the powers that be. Upon death, the followers believe that one will physically manifest into an online webpage of their choice.

Weaksauce Weakness: Petty insults. Such insults will result in a sudden deterioration of Rubharions health and cognitive ability.

Personality: Rhubarion is personable and socially adept. It uses only sometimes uses these traits for moderately devious actions, primarily subtle / minor. Rhubarion also tends to be immensely clumsy, seldom resulting in cataclysmic events towards various deities and universal entities. While it can be incredibly concise and meticulous in combat-like situations, day-to-day events usually involve Rhubarion making lousy impulse decisions. This can inevitably lead to instigation and Rhubarion sticking its “head” where it might not want to.

Rhubarion also is an oddly loving figure. Deviation only tends to be a rare occasion. Don’t be a selfish maniacal egoist and Rhubarion will likely get along quite well with fellow deities. (It still wants that delectable gamer-girl D.N.A though. So… offers would be appreciated.)

    Miracles:

    Truth Manipulation:
    - Reality manipulation via my truth. Any lie can become the truth, and every truth can become a lie. *Only can be used once per day* Has certain limitations, i.e: everybody nearby spontaneously dies by simply saying, “None of you are alive.”

    Sphere: Cards

Aspects: Chance, Games, Gambling and Fun

    Role: The Beast

Associated Religion: Cardiolism, a religion driven where the power of the card is worth more than the greatest of gems, as these cards spring forth into reality.

Dogma: Acolytes believing in this religion are devoted to collecting these wonderous cards, as they are useable and once summoned they stay in the reality applying various effects as described.

    Personality: Calm, Knowledgeable, Friendly

Backstory: As a fledgling god, Cardicarious somehow found himself thrust into a new world, where his journey as a god would soon begin, beckoned by a voice to uphold a new world, governed by a simple rule: to fix a world which was currently boring and fill it with excitement and life.

    Miracles:

Card Creation: By creating custom made cards, Cardicarious as well as various wielders can use them and apply various effects as said before, ranging from the norm such as a simple fruit tree coming into existence or the exotic like a Himalayan gigantotoise.

Card Conversion: As his cards can spring into reality, Cardicarious can put things already existing into cards themselves and resummon them as needed.

Weaksauce Weakness: (GM EDIT) Dice are his anathema. If Cardicarious is to ingest a six sided die, it will kill him. Additionally, dice may be used as lethal projectiles against him.

Other Names: The Crawling Chaos, The God of a Thousand Forms, The Moon Presence, The Lurker at the Threshold, The Black Pharaoh, The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young, The Source of Uncleanliness, The Dark Stalker, The Blind Idiot God, The Blackness from the Stars, The Render of the Veils, The Dark Shining One, The Shining Pursuer, The Ravenous One, The Nameless Mist, The Angel of Music, The Green Flame, The Patient One, The Dream Witch, The Unspeakable One, Spinner in Darkness, The Great Dreamer, Eidolon of the Blind, The Sound in the Deep Waters, The Twice-Invoked, The Thing which Should Not Be, The Dark Silent One, The White Silence, The Cold Flame, The Filler of Space, The Secret One, The Stone-Thing, Lurker in Doom-laden Shadows, Lord of the Black Lake, The Tenebrous One, The Burrower Beneath, The Dweller in the Depths.

Gender: Genderless, though it can appear in forms of both masculine and feminine.

Appearance: The God's true body is a writhing mass of black, purple, and pale blue flesh. That sits upon and fills the hollow crystal, with bulbous eyes that shine of the Void's light. That is often rendered nonfunctional by rampant growths of new insane flesh. This gives an illusion of there being a wider evolving cosmos, but in reality, it is naught but a fabrication. A notable feature would the vast patch showing the absolute nothingness of the Void. It is hidden by the sun in the day, and the moon or clouds at night, only visible during the new moon.

Otherwise, it's Avatar's generated and formed by its insanity, thoughts, or even a particular topic, can range from humanoid to giant tentacle monsters, to abstract beings even harder to comprehend than the last. That were sent to Ocaeril and spread in its distant past, while rarely new Avatars are sent toward the world. Each of them takes up mental space and physical fleshly faculties to function, and by accruing more worship they gain more stability, thus following increased power. As the worship allows thoughts of them to solidify, upon reaching the true body via the Winds, and become more entrenched or cemented in the insane mind of the God.

    Sphere: Eldritch

Aspects: Physics, Magic, Psychic, Insanity, and Cosmos

    Role: The Sorcerer

Associated Religion: The rituals, customs, and beliefs of the various and varied followers of the Cosmos's fragments are as varied as they are. That can range from sermons extolling their deity, to elaborate rituals or customs, to whole festivals or routine activities done in their honor. Like recreating an ancient battle or event that the being took part in, sacrificing anything from simple animals, monsters to full-on human sacrifice, or directly interacting with an Avatar or temporary manifestation of the being's will conjured forth by its followers.

Dogma: Nyarlathotep, often doesn't hold followers of its own, rather it acts as the cult leader of the Outer God's cults in their steed, in exchange of power. The Cult's activities vary from god to god, some being simply sermons, chanting, minor rituals, to full-on orgies or ritualistic sacrifices or tribute. But, nonetheless, Nyarlathotep does gain followers, though they are few and far between, placed in positions of power or standings, kept in line by threats or hollow promises of grandeur, only to be culled when their part to play is over.

Zeit's followers vary from simple scholars researching arcane lore in his name, trusted agents of his will in the fight against his twin, to court wizards or the rare Archmage of Kingdoms that can claim to have been taught personally by Zeit, though no one is truly certain if they lie or not. His only commandment to his followers in recent years was to learn, teach, and develop magic. As he has become inactive, in a meditative state divining the future, particularly of the oncoming Malstrom of the Winds, heralding the return of Nyarlathotep and the Old Ones slowly resurfacing.

Hastur's followers are those drawn to Carcosa by stories passed down from starving Child to Child about the seemingly endless feasts, from Grandfather to Grandfather who faced the dreadfull beasts unleashed, Scholars, hearing stories of the vast library, and even the rare descendants of Carcosa's people. While the various nobility is drawn in by the prospect of allying themselves with the powerful figure of the Yellow King. Who soon become enthralled by Carcosa's wonderous and unknown to them horrific gardens, where the bodies of the people lay feasting beneath the grass-covered earth.

Cthulhu's followers range from the rare packs of maneating Mermaids near R'lyeh, the native Deep Ones, the Cthulhi a species made after his visage, lost sailors that sink beneath R'lyeh's waters to toil away in either worship or labor in the name of the Old Ones. While tribes on certain islands on the surface revere him, or rather Father Dagon in hopes of soothing his kin's wraith, in return of giving up women annually to the Deep Ones.

The Souls of followers can and are dealt with in a variety of ways, some are simply reduced as fuel or a component of a ritual. Others are allowed to be transformed into different beings, usually the preferred Servitor of the Entity. Sometimes, if lucky they'll be allowed to reincarnate with inclinations of worship carried over from the other life.

Personality: The God itself is insane, splintered into multiple figments, and beings proclaiming themselves to be gods. When they naught but thought given life and independence, each shaped by certain thoughts, emotions, subjects, places, concepts, and so on. Thus a concrete idea of what this God's personality is, or rather was is impossible.
But the entities that arose from its mind, do, like Nyarlathotep, ambitious, scheming, sadistic, conniving, are all words that can describe them, a being who seeks to undo Mortal kind and grow in power. The Great Cthulhu, the prideful, zealous, pious, and unrelenting, is the ruler of R'lyeh, and the seeker of the Old One's ascension. Hastur, the King of Carcosa, decadent, aristocratic, affable, and inhumane, who's garden endlessly feasts and engages in debauchery, as do his people. Zeit, the first Sorcerer, diplomatic, reserved, ambitious, and erudite, who seeks to undo the insanity of the God, and restore themselves to what it believes is the proper order.

    Backstory:
Magic God at some point turned insane, unclear if done by a third party or an accident, but the end result was the creation of the Winds, and blobs of writhing flesh spiraling toward the early planet. Which either formed or was soon shaped by another to form life, imbued with Souls and Minds by the Winds, leftover thoughts of the Magic God, possibly apart of the accident or a ploy at survival. Then eons later, within the writhing masses by the firmament, the equivalent of magical Infomorphs emerged, fighting conceptual and metaphorical wars over segments of flesh, known as ‘Hubs.’ Which are basically places of power, and influence for the Beings who control them, providing power over their lesser kin.

Then at some point the second wave of flesh, this time spurred intentionally by the Infromoprhs, impacting and were shaped by inhumane magics forming the bodies of the Old Ones. Which created two distinct groups, the Outer Gods, vast beings who inhabited the various ‘Hubs’ and exist upon the maelstroms of the Winds, either unable to form bodies befitting their true vast visages or unwilling to directly migrate to the world. Then there are the Old Ones, those who abandoned the body and roamed the early world. Some forming ancient kingdoms and empires that have long turned to scattered buried and submerged ruins, or simply roamed the planet exploring their own limits and finding their own ‘enjoyment’ in the material world. Though, many hibernate in the world, were imprisoned,’killed’ or banished by the intervention of the Gods.

There are four major figures that arose during this time, and maintain relevancy in the modern-day, outside of semi-isolated Pagans worship.

Cthulhu, the High Priest, ruler of the submerged R'lyeh, and proclaimed master of the seas. He leads the Cthutli, the Starspawn, created in his visage, and his vassal Dagon, Father of the Deep Ones, in the dark depths of the ocean. Often warring against the Elder Things, the rebellious leftovers from the Old Ones discarded flesh, once in a thousand years, that occupy similar depths, unseen by the Merfolk. He slept in hibernation for millennia, till reawakened by the reemergence of the Winds in Ocaeril, wanting to resurrect the Old Ones and reassert their dominance, like in the glory days. As the stars align once more, gazing upon Ocaeril in its indifferent and dull light.

Hastur, the Yellow King of Accursed Carcosa, an ancient city famous and beloved in bygone times, now it is a symbol of horror and madness. It was ruled by Hastur, an Old One hidden in decadent silk and porcelain, who held vast feasts and parties for various guests of Honnor. Where vast gardens of foreign plants and fantastical creatures roamed, maintained by serfs, whose fanatical devotion to their King held no end. Alongside vast libraries with legions of scholars and clergymen adding to it endlessly.

Before Carcosa vanished from the face of Ocaeril, a host of plagues and baleful creatures spilled forth, devastating their surroundings, while vile chants and prayers sung by serfs. As their God-King channeled vast magics, sourced from himself, hiding away the City from the outside world into the Aether, due to his Siblings stirring the Gods onto their kind. Where the decadence of their King and his people continued, the Gardens feasting on meat and bone, and creatures devouring their fruits in kind until the two became intertwined. Canossa’s people became the idyllic gardens of Hastor, only able to praise and worship their King and Caretaker. As of recently, the King of Harrowing Carcosa has returned, the Winds invigorating his spent will, beyond the debauchery of his Garden, as he seeks to expand his demesne.

Then the Twin Lords of the Moon, Nyarlathotep, and Zeit, the Lords of Unseen and Seen, Light and Dark sides of the Moon, Chaos, and Order.
Nyarlathotep acts as the Messenger of the Outer Gods, spreading their cults in exchanges of favors, oaths, and geas, to increase his own power and standing back in the True Body. He qualifies as an Outer God in the scope of power but fits into the Old One category due to the lengths of time he spends in Ocaeril.
He takes joy in sending mortals into madness, seeing them suffer and fight amongst themselves. Which is often done by schemes in various forms, ranging from an ancient Pharaoh to a humble advisor to a lowly Count. The most infamous scheme of his is the bureaucratic hell that is the Empire’s government, and the “purity” of bloodlines concept he introduced early within its formation. Though, he has been inactive due to being ‘slain’ by his Brother and will return as the stars align, on the backing of a shower of falling ‘stars’.

Zeit, the Treacherous Kindred, works against Old Ones and the Outer Gods, seeking to restore the Magic God to its sane self. As he works with the Gods, sometimes, against the threats of the Old Ones on Ocaeril and the ambitions of the Outer Gods.
Zeit often doesn’t move openly, as it would encourage his Twin to do the same, thus they plot against each other. Though their methods differ, where Nyarlathotep would easily dedicate centuries to ensure his schemes succeed, Zeit’s are more hands-off, something he starts and perhaps sometimes pushes into favored directions, but expands by itself. Which allows Zeit to functionally ‘buckshot’ enough plans together to harm Nyarlathoetrp's. Alongside, taking various visages and forms to aid his efforts with mortals. Often appearing as various Archmages or magically gifted mortals to present a new concept or to save the tides of a certain battle, only to vanish soon after, credit being attributed to Zeit, the Sorcerer.

Unlike his Brother, Zeit has been absent because of the Winds return, ruining the magic system he devised. Which was in essence Mortals using their innate Winds of their Souls, and amplifying it with the pure mana of the World. Which is likely to become tainted or at the very least altered by the maelstrom of Winds returning in such volumes.

Miracles: The rapid regrowing of life in an area, powered by the Wind of Life, Ghyran, can be explained by extra nutrients supplied by some means, or that life in the area bettered themselves to the adverse conditions.

The onset of rapid fog coating and smothering, which could be explained by strange weather patterns picking up pollutants.

The manifestation of firestorms that are reasoned to be caused by natural or unusually high winds during a fire.

Etc, for the manifestation of other natural phenomena, explained away by various conditions.

Weaksauce Weakness: When the True names and all titles associated or connected with this God are spoken once forward in alphabetical order, and once in reverse the God shall die. (Note, this is more of a joke weakness, but I'd be impressed if this is pulled off. Also, I'm going to add the True names at a late date in {}.)

Upon the Sea's of Ocaeril, an unsettling pit of darkness is present when the moon is empty. To kill the god lurking beyond man, you must kill its perception of itself. To do so, you must take 10 masterfully crafted and enchanted weapons, each of them being infused with the different winds. Alongside the two composites of the eight different winds. The weapons have to be exactly equidistant from a designated center at twelve different angles. Then thurst downward powered by a magical force, if done correctly the image of the pit shall disappear completely. Which signifies the deed of killing the lurking god is done. (I'd be willing to simplify the requirements, but I like my fluff, and it feels fitting for a complicated ritual to kill the Eldritch God.)

    Lolface390 - Corven (WIP)
  • Space Buddha Space Buddha , guess who?

    Username: Lolface390

Appearance: A vaguely humanoid figure, only notable feature being his 'face', a gas mask of sorts. His followers attempt to emulate this by wearing crude copies of his face.

    Character Name: Corven

    Other Names: The Fog King

    Spheres: Medicine

Aspects: Biological warfare, cybernetic and weaponry advancements.

    Role: The Alchemist

Associated Religion: Fogmen. The name given to the outlaws and wretches residing within the Fog. The fog has warped them. Changed them. But it has also empowered them. Made them stronger. Faster. They set their eyes on the outside, where the other nations continue with their petty politicking, unaware of the threat brewing just beyond their sight....

Backstory: Corven cared not for the petty disputes of his brothers and sisters, for he had seen the truth. His fate. He was a mere shard, incomplete, broken, he was nothing. This truth came to him in his attempted planeswalking. He met himself. A version of himself. What he could be. He was forced back, back to his original existence. This would not stand. He would become whole again.

Even if he needed to kill everyone in his way to get it.

Personality: Cold and calculating, obsessed with becoming 'whole', to the point where he'd kill the entire planet if he thought he'd get a chance to become one with his other supposed 'shards'. Has a soft spot for his followers.

    Miracles:

Touch of Death: The mere presence of the god is enough to cause immediate organ failure and death of any mortals within proximity, excluding his followers, of course.

Disgustingly Resilient: His followers are disturbingly resilient and all but immune to most diseases, what would kill a mortal man would only mildly injure a Fogman.

Touch of Metal: Fogmen are graced with crude cybernetic implants, derived from the mind of Corven himself. Soon, he promised them, they would be able to make it themselves...

Weaksauce Weakness: Hugs, it leaves him vunerable to physical damage. Just wrapping him up in chains or vines doesn't count. Only hugs.

Obviously still a WIP, I put Outsider because Warrior is taken, I think.

Also I won't be able to post as NEARLY as often as I used to, Aetherius, just a heads up.

Celestial Speck - Ocaeril (All Father)
  • Username:

    Celestial Speck.

    Main Name:

    Ocaeril/Zyr'abataoth.

Currently is considering gaining a new name, although that has not yet been chosen.

    Other Names:

The Creator, The Gardener, The All-Father, The One Ever Watching, The World, The Loving One, The Author.

    Gender:

Ocaeril is often depicted as a male figure, however, he by himself is an androgynous figure. He can choose to be male, female, or something in between at any time. But for simplicity's sake, he takes the form of a male.

    Appearance:

    Post Zyr fusion.

    yukari_yakumo_male_ver_by_ami_latino_dbozkwg-fullview.png

"Don't cry, your father is here."

    Sphere:

    'Evolution'

Ocaeril sphere is one that has been presented with him since he birthed the world. For humans to be created, they first needed to evolve through something. For trees to be what they are now, they were once something much more imperfect. Everything grows, everything evolves, and that evolution comes from Ocaeril. In a way, some see it as him 'improving' the world. Learning from mistakes, learning how to make them better, stronger, and closer to ascension. Something akin to a book writer improving his own characters and world to make it better for the readers.

    'Void'

Everything comes from nothing. Everything once appeared from the eternal dark nothingness of the Space-Time continuum-- gods, mortals, and other beings. The void encompasses those origins of nothingness, by making its user control nothingness and create things from it, encompassing 'nothing' or simply the feeling of the 'dark' and the 'void.' Ocaeril attained this Sphere after killing Zyr, the Night Dragon in combat-- this Sphere largely changing his mentality due to its eldritch and secretive nature, although, most of his mind and personality remains.

    Aspects:

    EVOLUTION ASPECTS:

Evolution of Mind, Evolution of Technology, Evolution of Body, Evolution of Magic, Evolution of Nature.

    VOID ASPECTS:

    Destruction, Darkness, Entropy, Spacetime, Chaos.

    Role:

    The Mother/Father. Indirectly The End.

    Associated Religion:

Many records of Ocaeril depict different versions of him. Some see him as a lonely man wanting to create life to not be so lonely, others see him as one that is simply bored. But in the end, one thing is right: Ocaeril, in all versions depicting him, is a person who loves his creations.

Ocaeril religion is a simple one: Grow, evolve, learn. He wishes that his children, followers of him or not, learn to survive. Learn how to grow, and reach closer and closer to him. However, despite this, his religion depicts destroying the world, forcing themselves to grow through other means, magical or otherwise, to go against that. 'Evolution takes time. For you to grow, I must understand what is wrong. I must understand your problems, your objectives, so I can remold you to achieve them.' In other words, anything that goes against Ocaeril's own 'molding of creation' is seen as wrong.

Evolution takes time. The shortest path is often the one that'll lead to more problems.

Ocaeril is often worshipped in most parts of the world. Due to being a deity that relates to most aspects, as well as being the 'world' ''himself'', shrines and temples dedicated to him are found in most areas of the planet, though, some being smaller than the others, considering that other gods might already be worshipped in those parts.

In truth, there isn't a 'main' area he is worshipped. Due to his nature as a god of evolution, it is hard to pinpoint exactly where people started to worship him.

Ocaeril also takes aspects from Zyr's own religion, although given its followers were cured of the literal disease that was the religion, it is safe to say that religion is dead, at least for now. Although, Ocaeril doesn't seem very interested in reviving it-- or going through with his own religion due to personal events.

    Dogma:

A said before, he simply wishes his followers to grow and evolve. After their death, however, they are taken to his plane, a large, open field with homes and landscapes akin to what the person visited/had in life, before being visited by Ocaeril, having the choice of being reincarnated after a while.

    Personality:

Ocaeril is often kind and open-hearted with those around him, seeing mortals and non-members of the main gods as his 'children.' He loves them dearly, as well as loving other living creatures in the world. He often watches mortals that take his interest, watching their lives, seeing how they overcome their problems, and often lending a helping hand in it. Due to this, however, Ocaeril can be rather...Well, he can be 'too kind' at times, making him do things a bit rashly if things are at the chaos in the world. Despite this, he treats other gods with respect and sees them as his own brothers and sisters.

Sometimes, he sends what can only be described as 'god baby pictures' to them, showing off humans and other races, and how they're growing. In other words, he's a proud father.

Ever since he absorbed Zyr, however, Ocaeril's personality largely changed. Now more calm and cunning, Ocaeril seems to be an extremely wise person. While still an idealist at heart, he is no longer an all-loving person, at least to those who largely deserve it. He still believes in bringing out the good in people, but nowadays, he is much more inclined to killing or attacking someone if there's no way he can change their mind. These people are few, though, the only notable one being Meryl.

Despite now having a colder side, Ocaeril's kindness still remains. One may call him a 'gentleman' if his wording is right. Although, he can equally be terrifying and manipulative to those who are troublesome to the world, his friends, or gods that don't deserve it. His words are known to 'crush' someone's 'spirit' due to how harsh they can be at times, although, occasionally, they shed an edge of compassion despite being extremely blunt.

He seems to play down his feats as well and seems to dislike being worshipped or being seen as an 'ultimate being' by mortals, much like the new abomination, Phil.

    Backstory:

In Genesis, the world was nothing but a 'womb.' A womb without anything in it, a womb without any life to grow, to come out of it. But as time went by, that womb suddenly had 'something' in it. That something was Ocaeril. It grew on, and on, and as time passed through Eons, finally, that womb gave birth to something: A red, hot rock of Magna without anything in it. That rock, however, could think. Crude thoughts, without any meaning to it. But soon, it became clearer and clearer: 'Who am I? Where am I? What am I?'

The living planet soon had to come up with a name to himself. 'Ocaeril' came to his mind.

Time passed. The world realized there were others like him. Others that were wise, others that had an objective: Make things. Do things. Make this world something. And as such, they realized that they too should do such. A world with only them, a world without anything to be proud of, no people to be interested in, no legacy to give off- Is a boring world. And as such, Ocaeril started to think. They started to think of ways to make this eternal loneliness not so eternal.

And as such, the world grew, live popping in it.

When the first living beings arrived, he changed his other form, an 'avatar' to match them. His avatar changed over time, fitting the other races: But he stopped in a single one. A human.

The living world had created life just as life created him before. And he would make sure said life continued to grow.

    Miracles:

Ocaeril's powers are simple, but if not weak compared to other gods: He can do anything mortals can do. In a way, he can be described as...The perfect being, (yes, he too wants to kill himself for that title) being able to do anything mortals can. Build great cities, use magic, and anything else. However, his main power, aside from that one, is simple: He can 'rewrite' his creations. He can change the way they are, and leave that 'next step' available over the course of the years, much like updating a program. As such, he is often growing, as are the mortals around him. However, those who ascend to divinity do not apply to such rule anymore, as they are no longer 'evolving.' They reached their peak.

Infinite potential, but a potential that cannot match other gods, most likely.

Ever since the death of Zyr, he gained his miracles as well, making Ocaeril even the more powerful. Although these seem to be more combat feats then pure miracles for the people, it seems.

    Reality Drain:
Ocaeril can reduce reality, weakening magic and other 'unnatural' energies around him.

    Reality Fill:
Ocaeril can overload reality, breaking and slowing physical laws within a limited area, almost similar to a time-stop of sorts. In a manner similar to 'frostbite', as Ocaeril describes it, time freezes more and more in that area, and if they aren't able to get out of it, their minds and body break down, along with anything physical in the area, almost as if they were made out of ice.

    Time Manipulation:
Pretty basic stuff, cannot truly time travel. He can look at past or future events, but the future is vague. Although, this was largely denied by the evolution Sphere, making his sight of the future more specific, or faster, even, if he's in a combat scenario.

    Phase Warp:
A distortion of time that traps a victim in an endless loop. Appears to be a simple disappearance. Although this can be achieved similarly with the usage of spells, this serves as a true prison in time. The irony.

    Devour:
Ocaeril can swallow large objects whole. This requires days to complete, though, and he can’t do much while digesting a meal. He seems to loathe this ability, mostly due to Original's depiction of it. He rarely uses it, unless it's for specific situations such as eating contests and such.

    Assimilation:
Ocaeril can take traits of those he devours, but the traits gradually fade away over time. Once more, due to his loathing of the Devour ability, this is barely used, unless in an extremely specific or desperate situation.

    Psychoanalysis:
A mental attack that pulls up traumatic memories. Once more, easily achieved with spells from his Rinne-Sharingan, although this is useful for Ocaeril to easily go through other's memories. After all, 'analysis' is still in the name.

    Vulcanize:
A powerful sealing ability that petrifies a victim. It can be reversed by a powerful mage, although Ocaeril can make it stronger using Evolution. It occurs when all three of Ocaeril's eyes stare at the victim's own, and the command, 'be stone', to be said mentally or physically with his voice. The seal is almost instantaneous, with the foe's own mind being sealed away as well.

    [Void]:
Invalidation of an object, making it vanish. It requires lots of energy to use. It's Ocaeril's most used ability, and likely his strongest one. Generally, Ocaeril likes to yell out the Miracle, although, that's not necessary, and silent usages of it can be easily used. Due to his stamina, however, he can use it multiple times, without costing an action.

    Other abilities/Noteworthy equipment.

    Gum-Gum Fruit
    Chakra Usage and Manipulation
    Dragon Slayer Spear/Longinus.
    Tiamat's Armor.

    Weakness:

As he is the world, any damage done to it is transferred to him. So, if the world dies through the foolishness of gods or mortals...He too shall die. However, this seems to occur mainly by the usage of extinction events to any major species-- and constantly so, as well.

The Ritual of the Lines is also his weakness, although thankfully, due to asking his followers to find it to defeat Zyr, he has a hold of it.

    Wolf Nerd - Divisi
  • Work in Progress
    Username: Wolf Nerd

    Main Name: Divici

Other Names: The Prancing God, Wave-rider, Wanderer

    Gender: Male

Appearance: He is a shape shifter with many forms, but he has two preferred forms. The first is a boy around the age of 12 with black hair clothed in flowing water. The water reflects his mood and his environment, appearing to have stars in it during the night and becoming stormy when he's in a bad mood.
He will also appear as an old man with long grey hair and a cold expression.

    Sphere: Travel

Aspects: Oceans, weather, paths, travelers, messages

    Role: Navigator

Associated Religion: Worshipers of Divisi are limited to a group of nomadic tribes known as the Semitans. They will follow large thunder storms and set up villages around places that lightning strikes as they see it as the spot Divisi has chosen for them. They will pack up and move when a large storm blows through as that is Divisi's sign it is time to find a new spot.
The Semitan rite of passage for young men and women is for them to travel to some distant land and bring back some human made object from that land. Once they have found a suitable object, Divisi will send them the way to return to their wandering village. The tribes function off trade and bargaining and the wandering villages are good places to find unique items.

Dogma: Wander far and you shall find your place. Sometimes the path given to young people returning from their rite of passage does not take them home, but to some port or other hub of travel. This is a sign that they are destined for greater things than their village and must travel far to find their place in the world.
When those who worship Divisi die, they are sent to his afterlife beneath the waves where their souls may roam the oceans in a constant wanderlust, not unlike their own god.

Personality: Above all Divisi hates staying in one place for long. He has a castle in the sea, but all he uses it for is a launching point to plan other journeys or keeping things he doesn't want to be let loose. .
In his youthful form he often acts as a messenger for the gods or guide of powerful spirits in exchange for trinkets he can spread through the world for the mortals to find. He takes these jobs very seriously and will always strive to deliver a message quickly and honestly. His older form is far more wrathful, punishing mortals who abuse blessings of the gods or claim themselves greater than the gods.
He becomes strangely nostalgic when he's in a forest and sees moths. He also likes apples.

Backstory: Back when the world was made, the air was thick with primal aether and it was difficult for Divisi to move as quickly as he pleased. Because of this, he decided the world needed paths that would better serve him. He gouged out canals, weaving around the entire world, then compressed the thick aether into water to gather it together and free the air a bit and create new paths for him. Over the few years due to the actions of the other gods forming the planet, the water would collect and many of these canals would be filled in, causing the water to collect and form the ocean and the lakes. The existing canals became the rivers. Divisi took the largest of the bodies of water as his domain created a palace at the bottom where all the currents in the world would at one point pass through. After he went to sleep, the palace was taken over by one of the first water dragons.

Miracles: Path-finding: Divisi knows all roads, passages, and paths. He can see what he must do to create certain outcomes. He can share this knowledge with chosen mortals.
    Controlling weather: Self explanatory
He can grant proficiency with any travel method to chosen mortals
Some of his chosen are granted the ability to run on water and glide on the wind for ease of travel.

Weaksauce Weakness: Alcohol can make Divisi human. Spray enough on him or get him drunk and he looses all of his powers, turning to a child.

  • Chakra Usage
    (WIP)

More advanced Chakra usage allows the user to send it to specific parts of their body, or extend it out to use in on other objects, such as puppets or magic seals that explode. That same type of usage allows it to send it to their feet, and using it as means of jumping higher, moving on walls, and walking on water temporarily, depending on how skilled you are. There's also Elemental releases, that allow people to use specific types of Jutsus. The normal ones are Water, Earth, Fire, Air, and Lightning. Normally, someone can only have one type of elemental release, but in some cases, one can have two. Elemental releases are weak to each other in a circular manner kinda like Pokemon.

    340.png

    cTUbX.png

(The elemental releases and their combinations that lead to other types of Nature Releases.)

Those who have two naturally can sometimes have mutations in their family tree that give out new Nature releases or Jutsus in general. Examples are the Sharingan, Rinnegan, and Ice Release.
People can also learn other releases that they aren't affixed to, although that takes more time and efforts however, some people can use other means to learn all of them.

There's also the Chakra pathway systems that are kinda like veins. The pathway has things like valves that act as a suppressor of Chakra. There are 8 of them, and opening one of them leads to the user gaining a massive boost in physical strength and Chakra flow, although it comes with its risks, as opening the final one leads to the death and burning out of the user. There's also 361 Chakra points in the pathway system, that can be opened and closed with attacks or other means to make Chakra passage less or more effective. For Chakra to properly work, the user needs to combine both mental and physical energy, that are a combination of the energy inside of the user's body inside every cell and brain cell of the user, and using Hand Seals, which allow shaping the flow of Chakra to make new effects and Jutsus.

Combination of third energy, being Natural Energy, that exists everywhere in the world and nature, can also be used to use Senjutsu, a type of Chakra that mixes the users two initial energies into the Natural Energy, to enter a state called Sage Mode, which increases stamina, power, and Chakra usage to a large margin, allowing using unique Jutsus unique to this form and energy type.

(The Chakra pathway system and the Eight Gates.)

    500

The hand seals. Each is based on an animal of the Chinese Zodiac.

    1. Rat (子, Ne): This hand seal is commonly affiliated with the special Shadow Techniques.
    2. Ox (丑, Ushi)
    3. Tiger (寅, Tora): This hand seal is commonly affiliated with Fire and Earth Release.
    4. Hare (卯, U)
    5. Dragon (辰, Tatsu)
    6. Snake (巳, Mi): This hand seal is commonly affiliated with Earth, Lightning, and Wood Release. (Although nobody currently knows how to use Wood Release.)
    7. Horse (午, Uma)
    8. Ram (未, Hitsuji)
    9. Monkey (申, Saru)
    10. Bird (酉, Tori): This hand seal is commonly affiliated with Wind Release.
    11. Dog (戌, Inu): This hand seal is commonly affiliated with Water Release and the movie-only Ice Release.
    12. Boar (亥, I)
One can also shorten the number of seals they need to use in a Jutsu. For example, a Jutsu requiring 20 hand seals can be shortened by any amount depending on the user's training. It can range to needing 19, 17, or none at all to use a Jutsu. Although that requires intense training and constant usage of the Jutsu, most of the time. Other people can also have different hand seals to make a Jutsu, such as other clans and such, so the number of them varies. There are so many hand seals with their own unique effects to Jutsus that it would be hard to list them all.

People can also steal other people's Chakra through DNA to add it to their total poll, which is a poll that shows the amount of Chakra one currently has. Think Mana polls in videogames.

Aside from that, it's all free game. As long as you have a proper explanation of how your ability works, either scientific or otherwise, Chakra can pretty much do anything.

People can also have different colored Chakra that represents their personalities, such as yellow, purple, black, red, or etc.

    Lolface390 - Corven (UPDATED)
  • Space Buddha Space Buddha

    Corven was once a god.

Not like he was now, no, not like his fellows, like this pitifully weak form he was trapped in. He had been a true god. He had had so much power, with a flick of his crystalline claw, he had destroyed whole worlds, he had killed countless civilizations and countless more were at his beck and call, ready to destroy whenever he gave the word.

But then he had been broken. Shattered. Broken by his supposed maker. His creator.

Once he was whole, he would have his revenge.

He would take back what was rightfully his.

Only hugs.

    CutieBoop - Tiamat
  • Username: CutieBoop

    Main Name: Tiamat

Other Names: Primordial Mother, Mother of Seas, Womb of Creation, The Avaricious, Thalatta, Kaos, Leviathan, The Glistening One

Gender: Depicted as Female and still is, in both origin forme and physical forme

    Appearance:
    Origin forme

    Sea Forme

    Physical Forme

    Sphere: 'Birth'
Tiamat's Sphere means whatever is made, it starts with the birth- the beginning. The beginning starts with the egg, and it leaves that womb after birthing, under Tiamat's care for a time until it matures. When one thing dies, the rebirthing makes it re-live its life again, if it wanted to. While there's the ends, the beginnings will always be there.

    Aspects:
New Beginnings, Beginning of life, Beginning of traditions, Beginning of ideas, Fertility

    Role: The Navigator

    Associated Religion:
There are Fertility cults that celebrate each birth (of a new member, a new tradition, of a new creature, etc.) in their own ways. Although the original children and her husband have passed away, and the other gods attend to their own duties, the cult speaks of her with a high value, being grateful she watches over them. This gave Tiamat the opportunity to participate within the community, as a way to be with the people like they were her children.

Women in this cult are the ones who usually run it, but others can join as well. The women are also those who use the fertility to bring forth new children for this cult. With a new child, they are to be blessed within the bowl of seawater via baptism. New animals domesticated by this cult are to be blessed with special gear; collars with a drop of seawater as jewelry next to their names. Traditions, new or old, are celebrated with Tiamat, like it were a family feast, or gift-bringing. When they do their prayers and graces, her calls, her siren sounds, will be said in unison at the end. In short, the goal of this cult is to be good to each other, and to remember being with family at any moment possible; no matter what creature or human approach their new beginnings of life.

Another thing is that even if someone/something had no family to be around them, the friends they make in this religion help them feel like it. Loneliness is easily solved this way- which is another key factor with the cult.

The areas where these religions are hosted are nearby areas that are beaches containing the sea water. Some of the activities, such as partaking in beach hours or diving to appreciate sea life, are held there. If funerals were to happen, a graveyard is next to the church, where the tombstones will face where the seas are, ensuring the afterlife is in the care of Tiamat and one other god.

On another part of religion, Tiamat also liked to oversee some of the other religions. Examples such as the religion of evolution, which is like seeing those children develop into something greater, and develop to survive, is one of those religions she likes to observe, if not participate in them.

    Dogma:
Tiamat is believed to be a mother who always stayed with her children. Sad as they believe it, the children were separated from her via death, which caused her grief from the loss of her family. By having this cult, and to see more gods again, Tiamat gains this sense of family back within her. In terms of afterlife, Tiamat works mutually with Ocaeril; another god, more focused on life, evolution, and the love of his creations. She's already found peace within him, and given the similar goals, they align when anything comes to the afterlife. Fields and views of the past, alongside the gentle sea waves. Ocaeril is the first to ask them if they want to be reincarnated, and if accepted, Tiamat does the honor of 'rebirthing' them back to life.

The thing is, it takes months or so to find materials, unless they're easily found. If it were like so, the waiting game is all that would be needed until the completion of the rebirthing and the chance to reincarnate.

    Personality:
Tiamat isn't someone to talk so much. Even so, she hasn't found a way to properly word her statements besides a gentle 'aaaaa' and the nonverbal gestures via communication. It can be troublesome, but by understanding the nonverbal communication, everybody understands her. She could just make plans by the gestures and drawings with her claws if need be. Past legends made her a vicious monster of the sea, but in reality she was a gentle mother who wanted to take care of her children. Careful, Caring, Noisy, and rarely chaotic would suit her best.

Because of how big she is, as much as she wanted to join the humans in their activities, she needs to shrink if she was needed to join in cult activities Otherwise, she could destroy something by accident. As she has the maternal bond with the creations on earth, she shares this bond with other gods, thinking of them like possible friends or family, albeit neutral.

    Backstory:
She, along with others, was created by the void lord. The first thing she made in her time was the sea waters, complete by setting up the mud egg exterior, but having hints of things like mineral salt from rocks, her own tears (gigantic, notably), grass greens and sand. It had to be recreated multiple times to make the entirety of sea water. However, she was a lonely creature in the lonely seas. So, she created a demigod, known as Abzu, to be her lover. Abzu helped make the beginning of the freshwaters with a different recipe. During their life together, they communicated (Tiamat being more vocal) and taught each other how to navigate through these waters; not only to Tiamat's benefit and knowledge, but for Abzu and more humans alike to be guided safely within her seas. This included the craft of a boat with oars, first practiced with wood materials then crafting to a boat that could endure for who knows how long. This is proven useful as ages go on, with more attempts becoming better.

The next thing they had were children, mostly demigods with bits of mortality. They were bright and curious children, full of energy and assisting the two within their cause. They helped create the beginning of the sea creatures. It made the crafting much easier to do, and easier to build with more endurance. Sails included! During their time, they bonded as they ventured forth those seas for the sake of travelling and teaching. While Abzu and the children travelled on the boats, Tiamat swam along in her sea forme, helping them stay afloat with her hands whenever the waters appear to get rough.

One sad day was when they were coming back to their home island from their teachings. The storm at this time was much worse than before, and the family was struggling to get back home. Not so much for Tiamat, who has been that giant sea dragon in sea forme, but the demigods were struggling to stay on. Tiamat had tried to keep them close to her so she can save them from any harm. Instead, the attempts to swim are little to none, and the struggles of drowning overtook said family. By the time she found and gathered them near her back, they were struggling to breathe. She swam to the nearest island, trying to check on them and save them, but after attempts of revival, the seas were made the grave. This hit hard on Tiamat, who decided to bury them in the sand farthest away from the sea water, and swam back to the sea, sleeping in it for a long period of time to try and overcome the grief.

She didn't have to grieve forever, though. A new era was coming forth! She had come out of her deep slumber, and there are important things to behold for the future. A new chance of life, a new chance of creation, a new chance of family and to see how things went on from there. Tiamat would soon be overjoyed to see such creations made in this new beginning.

    Miracles:
Birthing, as a whole, requires natural materials. To make the egg is to use a mud exterior, fill it with leaves, sticks, rocks, sand, soil, and water, and have it be closed for a few minutes. The ingredients depends on what requires being birthed. Afterwards, there is the birth of living beings, living creatures, and possibly parts of nature. She could even birth a star! Re-birthing is similar, but it needs a corpse to complete the process. Compared to Tiamat's method, the cult also goes for natural birth as well. Not that it happens inside the church, but the pregnant are blessed with increased fertility to be able to have successful births. To make successful fertility elsewhere is a pretty good question that just needs to be answered somehow.

On another level, if she needed to be in offense mode, she can birth creatures primarily focused on combat to fight back. The seas could become a weapon, if necessary. The seas just need to be dangerous enough to cause a small side effect, such as small damage. Using shooting stars is just a side attack. With all of this, it was part of the reason why religions saw her as the vicious sea monster, despite the gentle nature. This is only in combat or defense, and not in casual occasions.

    Weaknesses:
The thing is, Tiamat cannot fully die unless all of humanity does. What's at an disadvantage is if Ocaeril were to die himself- Tiamat herself gets weakened by the loss of the one she adopted.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Edited it a bit, it's p late so feel free to add any suggestions I can do for tomorrow. If it's good, then it'll be good o:

    Selee-01 - Zyr-Abaoth
  • Zyr’abaoth’s sheet
Name: The Nightbringer, Zyr'abaoth, The Stygian Hunger, The Void
    280C1B7C-61CE-47DB-919E-376205037FA6.jpeg

    Sphere: Void

Domains: Destruction, Darkness, Entropy, Spacetime, Chaos.

    Role: The End

Description: Simultaneously existing and not existing, appears as a dragon made of infinite black with a visibly warped border. This event horizon can break apart and spaghettifiy anything that makes contact. Zyr is highly malleable, changing based on who beholds the Nightbringer.

Backstory: Zyr is the lost half of Yimor, a dark shadow broken off Oen’Abadroth and lost. Zyr was decapitated and imprisoned within the Hall of Light. For millennia, Zyr’abaoth worked in a subtle way to alter the world to suit it, preparing for His rebirth. When Zyr’abaoth died He began a cycle of death that permeated all Ocaeril, the result of the first death.

Weakness: The Ritual of the Lines, an ancient means to drive off Outsiders, causes Zyr to dissolve into the Geometry of the universe. The Ritual is composed of a set of lines and the chanting of the god’s name. The lines are drawn in certain ancient books, and a scholarly individual could piece together the Ritual.

Personality: Cold, calculating and intelligent. Zyr seldom speaks or acts directly, and His plans are long-reaching. He prefers to sponsor avatars or other servants and let them act for Him. Zyr’abaoth is a genius, and has plotted for centuries. Even His “death” was a part of a massive plan.

Religion: Zyr’abaoth is worshipped through a mental agent spread through religious proselytizing. If an individual listens with curiosity to a preacher of Zyr, the agent takes hold and begins to cause the individual to convert. Any former religious beliefs are retained, but are modified to accommodate Zyr’abaoth. Many gravediggers, soldiers, healers and executioners, as well as anyone who deals with death, venerate Him.

Dogma: Varies, typically focused on the sacredness of darkness and meditation. Belief in a dusty or watery abyss the dead must cross before judgment is common, as are prayers and rituals for the safe journey of the dead. Zyr’abaoth is seldom directly invoked, as His name is hidden from most mortals.

    Miracles:

Reality Drain: Zyr can reduce reality, weakening magic.

Reality Fill: Zyr can overload reality, breaking and slowing physical laws within a limited area.

Time Manipulation: Pretty basic stuff, cannot truly time travel. He can look at past or future events, but the future is vague.

Phase Warp: A distortion of time that traps a victim in an endless loop. Appears to be a simple disappearance.

Devour: Zyr can swallow large objects whole. This requires days to complete, though, and Zyr’abaoth can’t do much while digesting a meal.

Assimilation: Zyr’abaoth can take traits of those he devours, but the traits gradually fade away.

Psychoanalysis: A mental attack that pulls up traumatic memories.

Vulcanize: A powerful sealing ability that petrifies a victim. It can be reversed by a powerful mage.

Void: Invalidation of an object, making it vanish. Requires lots of energy to use.

Space Buddha - Original (GMPC by popular demand)
  • Keep in mind that you people asked for this.

    Username: Space Buddha

    Main Name: Original

Other Names: The Character, Exee, The King of Copycats, The Duke of Duplicates, The Original Divinity, That stupid blue incel rat who sings, The Despot of Doppelgangers, X, The Heretical Teachings, The Unorthodox Pantheon

    Gender: Male

Appearance: This, but with a much friendlier smile, and wearing a tuxedo and top hat, as well as carrying a cane tipped with a microphone. His gloves are not ripped, and his sneakers are replaced with dress shoes. He also tends to wipe the discharge from his eyes off with a hankerchief, but not always. He also does not have black pupils like the picture below does, just two red dots.

    sonic_exe_by_teamlokisho_dby9ucy-pre.png

    Sphere: Imitation

Aspects: Duplication, Mimicry, Theft of Ideas, Flattery, Rip-offs

    Role: The Reveler

Associated Religion: Original has no true religion of his own like some other gods. Although that is not to say he is without followers, as many faiths will see others worshipping the same god, and conclude they are worshipping them... wrong... Followers of Ocaeril see the followers of Gaia, or mother nature, as doing this, but in fact they worship Original, as it is his way to birth mockeries of his fellow gods' religions, such as the Cult of Heckson, The Fertility Cults of Marduk, or any other number of false religions so closely resembling those of true gods. Why Original does this is anyone's guess, but given his role and demeanor, the likely answer is 'fun'. The only races who worship him exclusively are the Doppelgangers, The Mimics, along with the ancient Hedgehog race.

Dogma: Original's dogma varies depending on which parody-religions his meddling has spawned or does spawn. Given that these religions come and go so frequently, their dogma varies greatly, but is always some variation of the god from which it originates from. However, there are a few consistent elements Original seems to enjoy placing within his cults, namely the prevalence of song and scary stories in comparison to other religions. However, aside from personal preferences, the dogma of these cults is rarely original. Personality: Despite his hideous appearance and standing as the weakest of the gods, Original considers himself to be a supreme gentleman. He is a smooth-talker, and often seeks to manipulate not through overt coercion or outright deception, but rather through subtle flattery and blatant ass-kissing. In addition, he finds himself enamored with art of all types, finding works of creativity to be both things of beauty and perplexity, given that he can never truly create anything original himself. However, for whatever reason, he finds music and song to be his favorite means of self-expression. The doppelganger society that catalogues his lore are unsure why he does this, but suspects it is simply because he gets a kick out of annoying the other gods by randomly breaking into song. Still, despite being a giant spiky blue rat who drips ichor from every orifice, he is a surprisingly good singer. Outside of his minor fascination with mortal art, he finds his true amusement in constant indulgence of his childish sense of humor at everyone else's expense, although he is quite upfront about this, and the other gods come to expect this from him.

Backstory: During creation, Original tried numerous times to create works on the level of what the other gods could make, but simply could not conceive of any ideas which to create, and so resolved to do as he saw, creating similar things as to what the other gods had made. However, these would not last as every creation of his was soon eradicated by the Destroyer, Ickol, for the abominations they were. Original took this in stride and simply resolved to enjoy the creations of the others as best he could, but indeed sought revenge by faking a perverted crush on the Destroyer, and serenaded her (and anyone else within earshot) with songs laden with double-entendre. He has long forgotten how she reacted to any of this, as he lives in the now.

    Miracles:

Duplication: Original, and on occasion his cultists, can create imperfect copies of any person, place or object. There will be noticeable differences however, the most common of which being a difference in color.

Mimicry: Original can appear to anyone as virtually anyone else, however never perfectly. His eyes will always remain the same black and ichor-stained visage they are in his true form, and on occasion he will look exactly the same as always with only minor variations, all depending on how much effort he puts into it.

Vicious Mockery: Original can mock someone so hard that it causes them physical pain.

Theft of an Idea: Intellectual property has no meaning to Original, he can reach into the mind of any being, and pluck forth an idea from their mind, robbing the owner of their idea, and allowing Original to do with it as he pleases.

True Imitation: Original can almost perfectly replicate the actions of other deities so long as he witnesses them in person. Minor Teleportation: Original can blink-teleport from place to place in a cloud of black pixellation.

Weaksauce Weakness: Original has not one, but three weaknesses. One of which being the disc-like artifact he carries on his person, which if destroyed would render him as helpless as any giant rodent. The second, is his passion for hide and seek. He cannot refuse a challenge, and if he is to be defeated, once as hider, and once as seeker, he will hide for eternity in shame, until his eventual demise. Third, any weapon created by a true artist, one whom has had one or more of their ideas copied by original and made with the intent of destroying him, will be able to. This weapon doesn't need to be functional, a well-crafted replica pistol crafted with this intent could harm him as easily as a real one would a human.

    NihiloExDeus - Phil
  • Username: NihiloExDeus

    Main Name: Phil

Other Names: The Helpful Stranger, Friend in the Woodwork, Legion

Gender: Generally takes a male form, but not always.

Appearance: Varies wildly between sightings, but always shows himself as a middle-aged seasoned traveller of some description with calloused hands --or whatever the current form’s analogue happens to be--. Is known to assemble and disassemble himself from a wide variety of insects and animals prone to forming swarms or packs, although he has also used thick clouds of spores and assorted microorganisms in the past.

    Sphere: Life

Aspects: Cooperation, Coordination, Colonies, Adaptation, Industry

    Role: The Abomination

    Associated Religion:

Rather than a religion, what Phil has given place to is best described as a philosophy. And as such, there is no such thing as a following unified under a single banner. Merely men and women who incorporate as little or as much as his teachings into their lives as they see fit. On the flipside, this translates to his ideology spreading far and wide with little to no conflict with the followings of other gods.

It is notable, however, that he does have something that one could interpret as holy sites of sorts, declared by the god himself as neutral ground under his protection in the only known instance of him throwing his weight around in any capacity. That being Community Centers, buildings ranging from humble single room huts to sprawling complexes. They shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, heal the wounded, so on and so forth. Beyond these humanitarian tasks, they also serve as employment marketplaces, where work and workers can seek each other out. Their final function is as a place of knowledge, both as a forum of sorts where debate and open lectures are held, and as the place to publish the advancements and status of any given project.

A salient point in his philosophy is to hold no shame in the admittance of a need for help. The god himself exemplifies this by often visiting community centers and posting up job requests and projects he himself cannot personally undertake for whatever reason. In turn, he also takes upon himself requests posted in the centers.

    Dogma:
    1. Do as you will, but do something.
      1. Stagnancy is to be abhorred, but not to be mistaken by rest nor deliberation
      2. While unpleasant work may need to be done out of necessity, one should never cease looking for that which fulfills them.
      3. There is no shame in a change of heart, change is inherent to life. Should the work that once filled you with passion and inspiration turn stale, all I ask is that you do not let it go to waste, find one to take over this work, or leave it such that another may come and do the same, even long after your passing.
    2. Whatever you do, let it be known, so others may aid your work or adjust their own as they see fit.
      1. If something as petty as pride, envy, or the words of the long gone to a world long since changed precludes you from accepting genuine aid in your work, your priorities come into question. For work born of necessity and work born of love and dedication both.
    3. Whatever your work produces, do not let it go to waste.
      1. All I ask is that it fulfil a function, however small and trivial it may be, beyond merely existing.
      2. Ultimately, even decay is preferable to stagnancy, as it returns all to materials that can be given new purpose and gives room for new works and life to spring.
    4. A listening ear and a helping hand at the right place and the right time is all it takes to avert countless tragedies. What may seem trivial to you may be salvation for the other.
      1. Bear in mind, as all things change, one day these roles may very well be reversed. Make of this what you will.
      2. If your wish is to aid others, remember: To give everything is to have nothing. To have nothing is to cripple your capacity of rendering aid. To refuse the aid and rewards of others when in need is hypocrisy. Such martyrdom is short-sighted and narrow-minded.
    5. I have no desire for adulation and ceremony. Whatever feelings and thoughts you hold for me, speak them plainly.
      1. Neither do I have any need for tribute, although a spot at the dinner table and conversation I will gladly accept, both our resources and time permitting.
    6. Above all else, I ask that you consider this nothing more than advice, the opinion of a being who while powerful and experienced in his field, is by no means perfect.
      1. All I wish is that you give thought to the spirit of my words. What you make of them, what you make of your life and your work, is ultimately your decision and nobody else’s. That is my belief.

Personality: Best described as down-to-earth and honest to a fault. By his own admission he is nothing but a powerful being carrying out a self-imposed job for no other reason than finding it fulfilling. Generally jovial and soft-hearted, at times he can come across as cold or disrespectful when it comes to his views on the dead and death itself.

Backstory: He has been found to be rather cryptic as to his origins, implying great many things, often contradictory, but confirming little to nothing. It is common consensus that he does this to incite critical thought and to subtly remind others that one’s origin matters little. In truth, he himself, is dubious as to his origins. His earliest memories are fragmented and scattered, his consciousness not yet coherent enough to formulate intelligible thoughts, spread as it was across the biosphere. All he can make out is an awareness of all life and a desire to see it run smoothly, to work together and move forward. That desire has yet to fade to this day.

    Miracles:

A Well Oiled Machine - His influence is a passive thing, making communities and ecosystems run far better than they should have any right to, kinks and creases seemingly smoothing out of their own volition.

From the Woodwork - As a deity grounded on the ubiquity of life and the communities it begets, his consciousness is an odd thing, waxing and waning across the land not unlike the tides. In practical terms, he maintains a low subconscious awareness of the biosphere from which the previously listed Miracle stems, only consciously alerted if something on an ecosystem-wide scale has gone awry. As for active use, he is capable of in-depth observation and management at the ecosystem scale, at the cost of a lack of street-level perspective, so to say. Additionally, he is capable of a great deal of multitasking, especially in sustaining a multitude of avatars to successfully interact to a meaningful degree with countless mortal communities in spite of time constraints.

[Something something kitbashing shit together by mixing and matching pre-existing adaptations, organs, behaviours, etec.]

Weaksauce Weakness: A solitary hermit that depends on absolutely nothing and no-one, with no friends, nor family nor loved ones. A man with no ties, disconnected from the world. He is powerless in the face of such a man, as easily harmed and ended as any mortal.
