Fantasy The Worst Pantheon: Live and Reloaded (OOC) (OPEN)

One more slight problem. The dragonslayer spear is no longer valid as the sole method for killing a god, as it is in the direct possession of a god and no longer obtainable by any normal human or member of any other non-divine species on the planet. So you'll need to either change that weakness or add a secondary weakness that is achievable by a mundane individual for gameplay reasons.
Done.

The Nine Imperial Children of the Jade Empire, Born Circa 1450(?)

1589233023124.png
Known Info: The oldest of the Imperial Court, and seeming successor to the Empire if the Emperor were to pass on. He is known for his enchanting voice that can beguile and convince even the most foolhardy of people. He mainly deals with the internal politics and visits the numerous nobles, odd foreigner of high-birth or importance, and rarely even serving to oversee the disputes of the common folk. It is relatively known that the Court of the Empire holds many dark places, and it is he who walks into the darkness for its sake. As he would even be willing to dispose of a sibling if he thought it would be for the good of the Empire and make dark terrible deals to ensure it's prosperity.

1589233074012.png
Known Info: He is one of, if not the best bureaucrat of the nation. As he seemingly knows where and what all of his workers, messengers, people who've been blackmailed, and what have you in his work. As he can manage and manipulate entire swaths of people to ensure his processes are done due and proper at the speeds they are needed. This is mostly important for the trade routes that he manages, and the numerous farms of the empire, including the Poppy, a mainstay of Jade's longterm economy. Alongside, overlooking the costs and resources associated with the dungeons, especially the artifacts hidden within their halls.

1589233195842.png
Known Info: He is fated to become a great firey serpent that shall burn the World in self-hatred, in the quest of self-annihilation. He was 'blessed' by Cthugha at his birth and was the cause of the Star fall, cursed to hate himself, for scales to grow from shredded skin and draconic bone to replace broken ones, his blood to become molten lava once spilled, all his injuries shall burn away into flames. He focuses these flames(his hatred) into his blade scorching his foes and burning the land with his stikes. He is currently campaigning within one of the Dungeons, with his personal imperial regiment, accompanied by his 4th brother a researcher into the arcane.

1589234374752.png
Known Info: He amongst the Imperial Court is one of the only few people looking and willing to research about the Arcane, and the newly fallen Dungeons. What are the Kami? What is their divine Court? What is the meaning of life? The meaning of Death? Can Death be defied? This is what he seeks, and as a conduit for Shyish, being close with the death of many, and things that shall go by as they die. He has tortured many for the sake of the Imperial Family, but his research has started to become ever darker. As he now currently delves deep into a Dungeon with his Older brother, he works on writing a book that holds many secrets given or found by him via the whispers on the black wind. Perhaps one day he shall become a Master of Undeath and achieve Lichdom.

1589237312561.png
A Miko for Goat Mother(Shub-Niggurath) who spreads her love among the people. Though, how this takes form various greatly. Some may get carnal pleasure, she may take care of the sick, set up orphanages for those displaced by a disaster. Though, all of these descend from the idea of Motherhood, the need to take care of one's children. They are innately twisted and amplified due to the desires of a Kami being distilled into them. She has set up this Order of the Goat Mother, seeking to spread her blessings and 'adopted' offspring where ever possible. Where Women from all across the realm, typically of noble bearing, service people with various different needs and wants.

1589239491238.png
Known Info: She is the most creative out of the nine siblings. As her dreams connect her to beneath the waves, into a place a mystical and religious place. She then paints the subject of her dreams for the imperial court to be amazed at. The monolithic black spires of a sunken city, the images of inhuman beings lurking beneath the waves. An alien ruler of the sea, that had once slept on his throne for thousands if not more years waiting for the stars to align. Another special property of hers would be when she mixes her inky-like blood with her traditional paints and colors. She can bring those images to life and have them walk off of the fabric they were painted upon. Her own tattoos are no exception to this and thus move upon her will.

1589240358756.png
Known Info: He was born a mundane man, simply apart of the imperial court as a young prince. But as he entered puberty he started to take on unsightly proportion, and become very quick to anger when one unknown to him gazes upon his face. To the point, where many of the 4th's initial subjects were derived from this occurrence. Once this horrific transformation stoped, he was kept within the isolated west wing of the palace. Being taken care of by the Caretaker's of him at an early age, and their daughters who closely resemble them. As beside them and his family, his rage will not end if anyone looks upon his face, and until he has devoured them whole from this world to be once again at peace. Otherwise, he is known for mentally regressing somewhat and wears custom clothing often with masks to hide his face from onlookers. While he sometimes requests to visit temples and shrines of the Kami in hope of curing, or very least bringing him peace as he prays to the Gods.

1589240947212.png
Known Info: They were born seemingly without gender, shifting to one or another when called for. As their body endlessly adapts and has regrown from damage inflicted on it. Their appearance changes frequently between masculine and feminine forms, typically caused by demands of social or societal norms being the main factor for the shift. Otherwise, the image shown above would only ring true if they would be lost and left within the wilderness away from civilization for hundreds of years. As they are actually quite shy and sadly has an unstable relationship with their third brother. Who seeks to rid himself and his family of this affliction, that the child themselves has no issue with, but is often reminded of this goal during his visits with their cursed brother.

The Ninth Child, the one lost to the Imperial Family, who joined his accused brother on one of his visits to a temple. While on the way back to an Imperial stronghold the Huskrria raid was occurring, and an unknown dealing occurred that brought the Warband to know of the modestly light convoy. All that is known during the event is that the child had disappeared that day never to be seen again in the Imperial Court, bringing the Emperor's wife to bawl for an entire month. But, the Emperor had restrained himself as homeland issues were too great to expend a force to the harsh north. What is unknown to them(the Imperial Court) is that the Child is alive being raised and kept by the Tzar of Huskrria.

Tacenda - Ziji
Username: tacenda tacenda

Main Name: Ziji

Other Names: The Great Crafter, The Inventor, IT

Gender: Male

Appearance:

alien_pigeon_by_dragibuz_d8g98tt-fullview.jpg

Most of the time, he is a pigeon. When this is not appropriate, he has a diplomatic human form.

Sphere: Technology

Aspects: Forging, craftsmen, inventions, tools, experiments

Role: The Apprentice

Associated Religion: Those seeking lives full of inventing and craftiness often wind up in the religion of Ziji, seeing him as a final boss of innovation.

Dogma: In death, Ziji's followers must come to the steel gates of his after life world and offer an invention. If he doesn't like it, the being is reincarnated until they can figure out how to be make better inventions. It they are honored with Ziji's approval, they enter the eternal playground for technology, where the most absurd of things are created. Essentially, a sandbox for engineers (but dead people).

Personality: Ziji is a quiet god who is rarely phased by anything. He shows an interest to the drama of other gods and likes to add his own touch to the events that take place, but dislikes getting involved himself. Despite this, he often gets dragged in because of the use of his sphere. He is focused and observant to the world around him and tracks imperfections with a hawk's eye. He never holds a grudge and sees everything in a humorous way, not seeming to extensively care about anything. He puts on a lazy facade so that most beings assume that he does not do much, when he does in fact keep himself busy. Many terrible and wonderful things have been caused by him in the world, but he never takes credit, preferring to admire his work from afar.

Backstory: At first, Ziji was simply a mindless being that ambled Ocaeril in the form of a pigeon, nothing compared to a god. When the first knife was crafted and used to kill him for dinner, the craftiness of the knife-wielder transformed the originally insignificant spirit into a god of technology. He aided many gods and has connections to nearly everyone.

Miracles:
  • When in need, he can grow a second brain to multitask and test multiple solutions at once.
  • When he believes an idea he has is creative enough, he plants the seeds of innovations into the minds of his followers, who proceed to carry out his thoughts.
  • He can forge powerful weaponry imbued with magic (cannons, guns, chainsaws, you name it!) that can be quite damaging to powerful spirits and monsters, though gods are not very affected. Often, a mortal will seek him out when trying to kill a certain monster.
  • He can summon a number of his own weapons on a whim that often have minds of their own. His favorite is a chainsaw that he created mere centuries after his birth. Any being who is not a god that attempts to wield it soon becomes terribly corrupted, cursed by the spirit within the chainsaw. His other weapons also have spirits trapped in them, but he chose more sane souls for them, so they don't have the same corrupting effect.
Weaksauce Weakness: Thallium, a poison to pigeons, is also a poison to Ziji. He will die if it is consumed, though it takes a day to kill him.

Sphere:

DIDDLE

Aspects:

Intensity, Dance, Ritual, Magic, Mania

Role:

The Outsider

Associated Religion:

The Foundation

The Foundation is an order that worships the Stonekeeper, Diddly. They are an organization of monasteries and libraries dedicated to the task of gaining and storing knowledge and history. Some members are monks, with some being bards, fighters and knowledge clerics. Most are just civilian researchers, historians and caretakers. Though they look serious, members have a good sense of humor and know how to have fun.

Dogma:

“Ridicule the powerful, empower the ridiculous.”

Diddly’s worshippers believe that after death they will be reborn as immortals. The truth is that that’s exactly what granted, though in an unorthodox manner. Diddly binds the souls in empty vessels of stone. Most of them are entombed in statues, always watching and guarding over important locations to his religion. They can be called upon in times of need to defend. The most pious though are granted mobile bodies of earth.

Personality:

Diddly has a laid back pizzazz and a showman-esque nature, trying to have everything happen on a grand scale. When Diddly is awake, he is the undisputed center of attention. His whims are catered to and nothing is spared to please the master. When the god slumbers for years at a time, his followers ratchet down the entertainment. The atmosphere in the Den becomes intellectual and manipulative as worshippers vie for control. Then he wakes up, and it’s a party of fun and alcohol again.

Backstory:

A colonist of a new continent but was regarded to be an idiot due to their habits and hobbies. They left the colony, venturing into a frontier on the desert, building a town. Eventually he set up a festival of intense ritualistic mania that he opened a rift. Entering the cosmos and meeting the Great Elephant and granted his wish of godhood.

Now god of the diddle, Diddly traveled forth into multiple universes, acting as the Dionysus of many pantheons. Many trials and tribulations of successes and failures in these planets, led Diddly to mature a bit. Now he’s entered a new plane, Ocaeril.

Miracles:

He can diddle anybody.
He can make statues.
He can make jam.
He can make friends easily.
He can make booze.
He can host a good party.
He can bind things.
He can cause insanity.

Weaksauce Weakness:

Diddly will die if he is diddled, touched by a snail, struck by a chisel, or defeated in a dance off.

Redlight - Polemispana
Username: RedLight RedLight

Main Name: Polemisepana

Other Names: Warrior of Rebellion, Ancient One, Betrayer

Gender: Male

Appearance:
fc8db8f1b6ad4abb85b7e85938d43bb7 (1).jpg

Polemisepana is usually in this Ancient Greek fantasy-esque form. He wishes to strike fear upon men by appearing in their form.

Sphere: War ((especially the ones that're caused by rebellions, and even betrayals))

Aspects: Fighting, Warriors, tools of war

Role: The Warrior

Associated Religion: Those who are seeking to live a life full of honor, and die gloriously holding a weapon.

Dogma: If a warrior dies in combat, they will be brought to Polemisepana's camp. A war camp that is as vast as an entire city, certainly a heaven for the most glorious warriors. If Polemisepana finds them worthy enough to fight for him, he will recruit them to his personal army; and if not, they will be cast out from his afterlife. Once Polemisepana gathers enough warriors, he will wage war against Helsa.

Personality: Polemisepana is the God warriors pray to. He fully embodies every philosophy warriors have. Polemisepana is also very determined, especially with his goal to Helsa. He is a ruthless killer, and will even slay anyone or anything weaker than him; showing no mercy at all with the cold metal of his blade. Polemisepana will rather listen to his instincts as a warrior than reason. It is said that he was once a wiser and more peaceful God of War, until something terrible had happened to him. Ever since then, Polemisepana has been an angry and bitter God, always resorting to chaos and violence. ((I swear, he's not based off of Kratos))

Backstory: ((Aside from the information written in 'Personality'...)) Polemisepana was once a wiser and more peaceful God, until something had happened -- a tragedy in romance. He fell in love with a mortal, created by one of his fellow Gods ((obviously)). This is also one of the reasons why Polemisepana chooses to appear in the form of a human, in an attempt to be with his beloved, as well as to continue honoring her. Until one day, the God of Corruption had decided to take his beloved, as ordered by the other Gods. This was in order to bring back Polemisepana to them, as they needed their God of War. This event broke him, setting the infernal anger than still burns within him to this day, as he promised to kill Helsa to avenge his beloved.

Miracles:

  • Polemisepana can make the heavens rain powerful arrows the size of spears.
  • He can fuel someone's anger, and free them from the chains of pain. ((essentially making someone a berserker))
  • Polemisepana can imbue divine magic onto weapons, making them capable of slaying even the most powerful of creatures.
  • He can form out weapons out of thin air, which means he has an infinite number of weapons under his disposal.
Weaksauce Weakness: Poison hemlock ((hemlock poisoning)). Also known as 'the hemlock', or its scientific term Conium maculatum. If you cannot kill a skilled warrior, what do you do? Poison.

Weaksauce Weakness: Gods in Polemisepana's mythos are powerful beings, but not powerful enough that they are immortal. Gods can die, and be replaced. Polemisepana does not have any specific weakness, but he can be killed. ((think of it like this... A man can kill another man. In this case, a powerful being can kill another powerful being)). While Polemisepana has the advantage of being the best fighter among the Gods in his mythos, he has the disadvantage of being outnumbered by them.

Huge problem. He has to be feasibly killable by humans, so the weakness block needs to be redone. Otherwise, looks good, though this inadvertently fits the role of the Warrior perfectly. You can take that one instead of the outsider and the only change needed is to change the "god of death" to "god of corruption." I'd appreciate that since I like to keep the outsider roles open for legacy characters. After that, hit us up in the discord server.

Also do note this guy is gonna die pretty quick. If his motivation is to kill all the other PCs they are just going to gang up on him and take him out so maybe change that personality a bit? Or at least direct it specifically toward the god who killed his wife, Helsa in this case.

Role: The End

Associated Religion:

An ancient sect thought to be extinct, the Muhn Mahn Clahn is mystery cult attracting members from dejected youth. There are splinter groups of them all over the world with variations in their doctrine, however all are united by a disdain for something. Their hatred may be directed at a race, or a nation, or a single person, an ideology or even a concept in some cases. These groups are usually misidentified as ordinary political extremists, however unlike them, they are indoctrinated to believe the moon itself is on their side, which it is.

Dogma:

Muhn Mahn Clans believes themselves to be the pinnacle of life itself, be that for the supposed intellectual superiority of their ideology, the biological superiority of their race or species or the simple perceived inferiority of everyone and everything around them. They have no specific teachings on the afterlife or metaphysical concepts, and the god to which they pray to watch over them in their acts of violence does not demand nor care that they pray to no other god, though, the principles of their faith may bar them from certain religions due to either the ideas that one god might promote, or the ethnic makeup of the group. This is, however, not the doing of the M̵̧̨̢̛͔̬̦̥̟̞̲͙͙̞̱͔̝̖̮͕̻̜̥͖̤̝̻͔̀͛̒͐̋̉̎̂̎̂̀̈́͛̎̈́̉̀͊̑͗̀̂̒̈́̀̕͘͜͠͝͝͠U̵͈̲͙̤͖̿́̏̽͗̽̓͊̍̈́͑̆͛͒̑͂H̸̢̛͇͎̮͓͕͉͇̱͕̍̍̈́́͂̒́̊̾̐̀͌͒̊̄̌͛͋̐̓́̈́̔̇̃̀̅͋̕͝ͅͅN̸̛̟̳̥̜̠̜͚͍̞̏̑̊̆͑͆͑̏́̂̍̏̀̆̾͗͛̈́́̈́̇̀̍́͊̆͆̋͘͘͝͝͝ ̸̧̨̢͎̞̤͇̮̳̼̮̹̝̼̻̥͎̪͇̰͕͕̈̈́͑́͜͝ͅͅM̵̙̳͉͚͖̻͈̹̹̝̟͈͕̹̻͎̦͚͍̾͋̈̋̐̐̈́̽̏̾͊́̎̿̌̕̕͝Á̸̡̧̛̝͈͍̩̰̰͉̪̫͕̯̱̘̣̰̤͐͂̅̏͐̈́̊̍̈͆͗̈̆͊͊̈́̍̀̎̀͂̇̈́̐͊̐̉̿̕H̴̛̛̛͖̭̋̅͂́̃̈́̃͑̐̄́̓̔̎̾͑̄̾̋͘̚͝͠Ņ̶̡̡̡̨̧̫̼̯̤̩̺͇̝̲̗̱͇͖͇̩͙̗̝̳̺̣͈̠̜̣͈̣̺̣̔͒̌̔̃̒̀̐̾̌̾͗̑̾̓̾̔́̀̈̌̎̅͂͜͠͠͝

This, along with his long history as the silent pianist of the Hall of Gods may indicate an interest in music, however that does nothing to temper his reputation among those select few who remember the horrors of his reign. Truly, actions have spoken louder than words as he rampaged across the world, slaughtering countless and only being reduced to a pitiful shell of himself by incidental discovery of his weakness. He is a merciless, cruel, destructive abomination, sure only to bring chaos and pain wherever he goes.

Backstory:

When the gods were first conceived, there was one in particular the Void Lord poured his very soul into, not much of course, but a small enough bit. This being was a twisted mockery of the other gods, devoid of emotion save for hate and twisted sadism. He was The End, and his first order of business was to ensure that whatever living thing the other gods made would not last were he to deem it inferior, and thus became The End that all of the early world feared, and even today represents the concept of a "Grim Reaper", although one of far more violent tendancies. He butchered entire nations for sport, and likely condemned whole races to oblivion. He struck randomly and quickly, making it hard for other gods to even find him to challenge him, and yet, on some unspecified day, in one of countless villages he had lain waste to, a young woman, born of the rare union of a human and a nekomatus, stood firm as her town burned and friends screamed. She resolved to slay this beast, and ignorant of its true nature drew her hunting bow and loosed an arrow. This had happened many times before, the humans tried to fight, and generally this beast would allow them to, the fear and feeling of helplessness it evoked in them brought him pleasure like no other. That is not what happened this time, however, as the arrow Pierced his eye and sent him to the ground, experiencing pain for the first time. The girl rallied her fellow villagers, and they swarmed M̵̧̨̢̛͔̬̦̥̟̞̲͙͙̞̱͔̝̖̮͕̻̜̥͖̤̝̻͔̀͛̒͐̋̉̎̂̎̂̀̈́͛̎̈́̉̀͊̑͗̀̂̒̈́̀̕͘͜͠͝͝͠U̵͈̲͙̤͖̿́̏̽͗̽̓͊̍̈́͑̆͛͒̑͂H̸̢̛͇͎̮͓͕͉͇̱͕̍̍̈́́͂̒́̊̾̐̀͌͒̊̄̌͛͋̐̓́̈́̔̇̃̀̅͋̕͝ͅͅN̸̛̟̳̥̜̠̜͚͍̞̏̑̊̆͑͆͑̏́̂̍̏̀̆̾͗͛̈́́̈́̇̀̍́͊̆͆̋͘͘͝͝͝ ̸̧̨̢͎̞̤͇̮̳̼̮̹̝̼̻̥͎̪͇̰͕͕̈̈́͑́͜͝ͅͅM̵̙̳͉͚͖̻͈̹̹̝̟͈͕̹̻͎̦͚͍̾͋̈̋̐̐̈́̽̏̾͊́̎̿̌̕̕͝Á̸̡̧̛̝͈͍̩̰̰͉̪̫͕̯̱̘̣̰̤͐͂̅̏͐̈́̊̍̈͆͗̈̆͊͊̈́̍̀̎̀͂̇̈́̐͊̐̉̿̕H̴̛̛̛͖̭̋̅͂́̃̈́̃͑̐̄́̓̔̎̾͑̄̾̋͘̚͝͠Ņ̶̡̡̡̨̧̫̼̯̤̩̺͇̝̲̗̱͇͖͇̩͙̗̝̳̺̣͈̠̜̣͈̣̺̣̔͒̌̔̃̒̀̐̾̌̾͗̑̾̓̾̔́̀̈̌̎̅͂͜͠͠͝, gouging and cutting at him until the sun rose, disfiguring him further as he was mutilated by the beings he thought less than ants to him. The villagers had him within an inch of his life, and kept him that way, as with the multitudes he had killed they resolved that he deserved to suffer, rather than receive a quick death. And so, the End was crucified and his cross was set alight, left in the sun to burn for untold ages. Around the end's flaming cross the humans constructed a stone prison, through which the sunlight was guided along an array of mirrors and in which artifacts of sunstone were left, along with the cultural relics of countless races, as if to mock the god of hatred. This prison would stand the test of time, being buried under earth and lost to the annals of history. He would burn for a thousand years and a hundred more, until one day, the mountain in which his prison was carved crumbled, blocking the vents through which the sun flowed and allowing The End to recover his strength. Weakened and near-death, he returned to the hall of gods, and became the ambient soundtrack provider, waiting until he could finally return to his true glory. Currently, he is a shadow of his former self, largely blind and incapable of posing the threat he once did.

Miracles:

Triggering: His very presence brings out a sense of revulsion and disgust at anyone or anything that beholds him, the same is true of his worshippers. To one who is dejected with society and prays for its end however, this manifests as an irresistable allure.

A loving couple with members of two races or creeds which hold a great animosity toward one another could slay him if fighting together, their weapons cutting and piercing him as they would any other. The son or daughter concieved and raised by such a union would similarly be able to effect him. The sunlight and sunlight-like spells are also anathema to him, and put him into such pain that he tends to retreat. Knives and projectiles made from Sunstone will be able to pierce his flesh and burn away at his innards, and finally, he can be permanently killed if he is defeated in a rap battle, a challenge to which it is impossible for him to refuse. Sadly, all but his vulnerability to a half-breed child of two opposing races has been lost to history, though the story of his first demise is not one easily forgotten by the storytellers of the world.

EDIT: This is a complete and total parody of Moonman, note that he is explicitely a villain here and all.

Associated Religion: Xorju has no overt following, with worshippers either practicing alone or in small secret societies. These groups are often active in their communities, but keep their shared interest out of the public eye.

The solo practitioners are similarly cagey about their religion, but are more comfortable utilizing the unusual magics it provides. They often become known in underground circles for their strange but useful abilities.

Both groups share a propensity for whimsy and erratic behavior, caused in part by the influence of Xorju’s power, but also by their own propensities.

Dogma: The souls of Xorju’s followers fall into the Twixt, coming under the direct influence of her manipulation.

Personality: In accordance with her domain, Xorju tries her best to be unpredictable in action and obscure in motive. She will form and discard both creations and alliances almost at random, but there does seem to be a throughline to her actions, each eventually building on another a part of some greater scheme.

When interacting with others, she constantly speaks with strange, oblique euphemisms and metaphors - and considers it to be rather amusing to see others become frustrated by her seeming inability to give a straight answer.

Backstory: Xorju came into existence only a bare few decades ago... or, a full thousand years? The other gods seem to have memories of her, but they're hazy and indistinct, and often times conflicting. Very strange. Whyever this may be, the memories of the creatures she may or may not have created are gone.

Miracles:

The Twixt: Accompanying Xorju is a plane known as the Twixt. This place is in a constant state of flux, shifting between possibilities without rest, everything from the environment to the laws of physics changing wildly from place to place and moment to moment.

Xorju can influence this chaos, guiding it into patterns that she wills. She may then cut off parts of the Twixt, creating a stable demi-plane with rules, environs, and inhabitants set in place.

Weaksauce Weakness: Should Xorju’s entire body be removed from the Twixt, she will become mortal until re-entering.

Damnit, I was gonna have my next character hold the beast role, but it's still good for now. Try to get those last few sections finished by the end of the day, and maybe mention how someone can actually pull her into reality. Gm post is going up tonight.

Puppernickel - Dementia
Username: Puppernickel Puppernickel

Main Name: Dementia

Other Names: Spirit of Corruption, Madness Manifested, Insanity Incarnated, Cosmic Janitor, He Who Brings Choice

Gender: Usually identifies as male, but can change gender on a whim

Appearance: Dementia's torso seems to be that of a large grey canine of some sort, although the type of dog mostly unidentifiable beyond being grey furred and large. His left arm is covered in feathers, while his right arm is made entirely of wood that seems to grow out of his body. His left leg is that of a lion, while his right leg is that of a black dragon.

A pair of wings jut from Dementia's back, one a prismatic crystalline dragon wing while the other is that of a white pegasus. Dementia's head is that of a white furred horse, his eyes mismatched just like the rest of him: the left one a golden slit iris, the right one a plain looking greenish blue.

Also jutting out from behind him is an ethereal tail that seems to be made of a chunk of the night sky, complete with stars. Upon further inspection, it appears that his tail is in fact constructed out of pure shadow, which has been grafted into Dementia as if it was his own.

Sphere: Chaos

Aspects: Insanity, Curiosity, Change, Choice, Luck

Role: Abomination

Associated Religion: The Whole Heart, the following of Dementia, is a small minority group that is mostly overlooked by everyone else. Due to being small and not doing much in the grand scheme of things, they have mostly faded to obscurity, seen among the general populous as more of an oddball group for lower ranking officials across the world, that occasionally makes moves to influence some minor events.

Most members of The Whole Heart believe that Dementia is a savior from chaos, creating his own madness in order to drown out the madness of the "Chaos" who came before. Dementia is to be both feared and loved, for just as he can give madness, so too can he take it away. Most view him as a father or caretaker, leading the mortals to a better life, one free from destiny and fate so they can make their own choices. There is no one place for followers to appear, for distance is not a deciding factor among them. The only qualifier is that they congregate where either chaos or order reign supreme, so that they can topple it.

Dogma: One of the primary defining factors of The Whole Heart is that there is no wrong way to believe, no one way to worship. Anyone from the zealous to the shy, from the strong to the weak, all are welcome by Dementia. The only qualifier is that they change the current state of affairs, regardless of whether anarchy or order are the word of the day. Dementia desires change to occur, and thus it shall.

As for death, this is one of the few things all believers can agree on. Dementia collects a soul and places it inside an hourglass, which he then places in a room full of them, all of them slowly draining away before being flipped over to drain again. It is claimed that the sight soothes Dementia, and he enjoys the sound of running sand.

Personality: If one were to pick a single word to describe Dementia, it would be "Whimsical". While capable of imitating a myriad of attitudes and mindsets, Dementia's default is a prankster, often messing with the lives of others just for the giggles. Despite this, he's rather laid back, and is more than accepting of pranks done right back at him in retaliation. Overall a decent fellow, despite being insane out the wazoo and able to turn into a psychopathic maniac on a dime.

Backstory: It is said that at the beginning of the world, Dementia was reluctant to help with creation, seeing the power and madness of the Void Lord and hating it intensely. However, knowing what would happen if he refused to do the Void Lord's bidding, he assisted the other gods in minor ways, doing his best to provide as little help as possible. At first, all he did was clean up after the gods, gathering up things for the Destroyer to remove, and thus allowing for new things to be created. This became boring quite fast however, and he began to look for ways to enjoy himself. After all, if he was going to suffer on the job, might as well find something enjoyable, right?

So it was that Dementia began messing with the creations of the other gods in order to amuse himself, subtly altering them when no one was paying attention. He did this for quite some time, pranking in minor ways that didn't truly affect creation but inconvenienced the other gods in their work. Then one day, Dementia came up with his greatest prank yet, one that would affect even the Void Lord himself. Why not allow mortals to do the same thing as he, and sow confusion, create chaos? So for his ultimate "prank", he gave unto mortals the ability to choose in life, and decide upon their own fate if they desired. Then he sat back, and watched as mortals questioned their place in life and grew for it.

This understandably put him at odds with some of his peers, for after all, why bother giving the creations choice? Why give them the ability to deny their creators, and choose a different path? But Dementia didn't care, for it wasn't his creation, it never was. Over time, for some unknown reason except to Dementia himself, he began to grow paranoid, fearful of the world and especially of his fellow gods. So when creation was finished and the gods rested, he hid away somewhere he felt safe, waiting for the world to grow so that choice and change became the norm. It is said among The Whole Heart that when the world has shifted sufficiently enough, then, and only then, will Dementia return to see what his "free will" had caused.

Miracles:
Mental Breakdown: Dementia can subtly influence the subconscious mind to cause an individual to slowly and quietly go insane, totally unaware of the change themselves. When fully converted Dementia can then activate them as he pleases, sending the person into a rapid self destructive spiral as the individual descends into madness. Note that this is preventable by suitable mental shielding, and slowed down by stronger wills.

Sanity Rebound: Conversely to Breakdown, Rebound allows for Dementia to remove insanity from an individual. Like the first, this is a slow process, and can be activated at will when finished. It also can be shielded against, and strong willpower will slow down the process.

Transmutation Master: Dementia is a master of the art of shapeshifting, and is able to change his form at will, as well as the forms of others. The only exception to this is that he cannot become cake.

Shapeshifting: Much like their master, the followers of Dementia are gifted with the ability to shapeshift into any creature they so desire. The most devout of the religion are able to take on forms similar to their god's twisted being, resulting in them being upheld as Avatars of Dementia.

All Seeing Sight, All Knowing Mind: Any being who has voluntarily accepted one of Dementia's miracles or otherwise directly blessed by him is connected to him through that blessing. He can see through their eyes as if he was them, and knows what they know. Those who have fully and willingly accepted his influence can even be directly controlled by Dementia like puppets, their consciousness overridden for a time. Note, this only works on individuals who not only willing took his blessing, but are also aware of the fact he can see through them. Otherwise, it has no effects.

Melodic Voice: Any living being who hears Dementia's voice is mesmerised by him and desires to listen to him, with the level of effect relying on mental fortitude and willpower.

Magical Adaptation: The highest ranking followers are gifted with the ability to cast from any school of magic. Whether it be Illusion, Destruction, Restoration, or otherwise, they are given at least a novice ability to cast from that field, with a master's grasp on at least one school.

Weaksauce Weakness: There are two things that can result in the permanent death of Dementia.

The first is by his own hands. If Dementia is challenged to a game by someone who cannot die by age, and if they do so in his physical presence, he is forced to accept the challenge. If they win the game, he gives them a wish, which can then be used for anything that person desires. However, if they wish for his death, Dementia's magic will immediately oblige, killing him.

Alternatively, and much more easily, Dementia is rendered mortal in the physical presence of an innocent mind, one who does not yet know the cruelty that is reality. Note, this does not remove his powers, merely his immortality and regenerative capabilities, which return if the innocent is removed from his presence.

Backstory: Was birthed when a ROB died due to unexplained means, a portion of their power then used to create several different beings and objects of power, with the most powerful of them being Dementia.

This has a bit of a problem. All the outsider roles are taken. You could take "The Beast" role instead, as that is the one that created all the monsters on ocaeril, and it fits his chaos sphere.

Space Buddha Space Buddha

Ahhhh, I see, I sorta guessed as much but had a hope. Hmm, well then I guess I can change it to the Abomination, either that or the Messenger. Probably Abomination.

Main Name:

Shimone 'Otsutsuki' Rey.

Other Names:

DigiChosen, DigiDestined, DigiMaster, Champion, Network Traveler.

Gender:

Specifically male, although Shimone was born as originally a concept of nature. It isn't quite clear what this concept is, but it might be something related to the sky or weather, as, during his birth, a constellation was formed on the skies of planet.

Appearance:

A blue-haired, young-looking man with surprisingly casual and modern clothes. Wearing a hoodie and shorts, he possesses goggles on his forehead with both a blue and yellow eye in both eyes. With gentle caucasian skin, his figure is slim and doesn't appear very muscular, and he by himself is only 5'06", rather small compared to other gods. Despite this, he can shapeshift to a few different forms, gaining draconic, slime, fox, and human traits at the same time- his gene pool only not breaking due to his existence as the son of the literal manifestation of the planet and nature itself.

Sphere:

Data

Information is passed about and discovered then finally stored, whether someone likes it or not. Either be it by physical means through a book of letters, or by simply storing it through digital means. Shimone is capable of altering and entering information while being able to transform himself into such. For example, he'd be able to enter a 'realm' inside a computer and alter its components, information, workings, and other things if he were to act directly or create data by himself, or programs related to it.

Aspects:

Networks, Technology, Information, Programs, Time.

Role:

Outsider.

Associated Religion:

Shimone, despite being divine and possessing godly traits, doesn't have an established religion due to his Sphere and traits. Either be that because he was born too late and that would cause much confusion in the lore of the gods and the overall pantheon, but mostly because he doesn't wish for people to worship him like a god. In fact, Shimone is much more treated like a companion and a helper to people than an actual god, with very few people knowing of his true identity, and how different it is from his actual father or mother's own powers and beliefs.

The closest Shimone has to a religious following is people who see him as a children's story concept. An 'information seeker', capable of altering things you said or wrote, while also being a defender of this sort of information and an enemy of those who try and abuse data, technology, and information for their own benefit. Like a ruler lying about his votes. Someone trying to abuse the powers a machine has for their own gain or the death of other people. Someone trying to use forbidden knowledge that would cause the pain of thousands. Something akin to a 'Protector of Truth and Attacker of Malice.'

Personality:

Someone who is mostly quiet, but in his older years, is much more emotive. Shimone, despite having godly powers, barely acts like one. He doesn't speak like an old-as-dirt being or someone who is greater or doesn't understand mortals. Shimone is likely one of the more humane 'gods' there is in the Pantheon, often talking in a youthful and joking manner, and being able to understand people fairly well. He is, however, immortal, so naturally, the concept of friendships to mortals is short-lived to him. Shimone long learned not to worry about the natural things in life, however, and is aware that even if someone dies, gets reincarnated, or sent to an afterlife, he'll always be able to meet them again, remember of their good times together via information, and more.

These memories generally are longer to him, however, as despite the fact time naturally moves faster for him due to his immortality, his natural understanding of mortals thanks to his family's raising of him and his own aspect over time allows him to spend time faster or slower with others by altering his own perception of it.

Backstory:

The second-born child of Ocaeril and Inqui, originally shy and meek, but who learned the meaning of power and bonds by being transported to the Digital World alongside Servants of his mother, and gaining the Digimon, Agumon, as his partner. Now finally with a Sphere and unfortunately a weakness, Shimone promises to live his own life as an adventure, by not following any set of rules, divine, mortal, or otherwise, and simply doing things as he sees fit to protect people and the world as well with his own companions.

Miracles:

Program Creation:

Shimone is capable of creating any Digimon by using any data available to him. He can do this to create existing ones or completely new ones. It all depends on what sort of data he has can do. He can set up these Digimons to protect 'firewalls' or act as viruses to other sorts of data, corrupting, destroying, or even controlling it.

Time Dilatation:

Shimone is capable of altering his own or other's perspective of time. One can easily 'lose track' of time when reading a book or going into the Network, as such, this allows Shimone to be able to spend days or even years inside Data and other Network systems, while in the real world, very little time has passed, or even the contrary.

Program/Data Alteration:

Shimone can alter any form of data as long as it is written or stored digitally somewhere, changing what it can do, what it means, or what information is being stored there. This allows him to alter information too, often being used in the case of manipulation for him.

All-Delete:

A power inherited by his partner's greatest form, All-Delete allows Shimone to make his final blow in an attack against a creature that can cause them not to be knocked out or simply die, but be erased from existence. A much weaker form of his father's Void Miracle, only allowing him to use it in a final blow against an opponent, (or in a much more minor but still extremely hurtful form in a normal attack) but otherwise allowing him to delete any harmful influence the opponent has caused in a finite area around Shimone.

He can also use this ability to delete Data naturally or delete any previously mentioned harmful influences, although he has to physically touch and interact with this harmful influence- not causing any actual harm to him, taking a much longer time depending on the type of damage the area or Data suffered.

Data Savior:

Whenever Shimone feels the need to, he can destroy his body to be reborn by reusing the data of his body. As a large ditch effort to escape death, this ability can only be used once per turn, and after its usage, Shimone loses most of his powers and is trapped in a weaker form akin to his younger self, but away from harm, at the very least. It requires a considerable amount of time, (generally a turn) for him to return at full power, but otherwise leaving him open to any possible attacks.

Weaksauce Weakness:

If a program, data, or information Shimone is on is deleted, and his connection to the Network is somehow severed, Shimone can be killed instantly. This is no easy feat, however, as Shimone is able to realize the deletion due to data often needing time to be fully deleted, but if one is capable of outsmarting, or outmaneuvering him, he will be deleted alongside the rest of the data, Data Savior not being able to save him due to a lack of connection to the Network, or any safe spaces.

Sheet I'll probably never use unless a sequel to this is made, but one I had fun making anyways, because why not?
