plot
People who died in the real world with various causes, suddenly found themselves transported into an alternate dimension where they were given a second chance to come back to life, a few hours before their death, and continue their life. There are 54 trials in total. Each trial represented a card from the full deck of cards, ranging from 2 of something, which has the lowest difficulty, to the two jokers, the highest difficulty as well as the final trial. These people who challenge the trials were called Players. In the beginning, Players were transported to the first trial, the world of 2 of Spade, with an objective that they must complete. Clearing the trail would give them a reward; a mystery box that could give players one Ability Card or one Tool Card, which they can use in the Card World to help them go through their trials. The cards they would get would be completely random.
Apart from a mystery box, players would also get access to 2 of Heart, 2 of Club, and 2 of Diamond trials after they completed 2 of Spade. They could choose one of the three trials to challenge. As long as they completed two out of four 2 of Something trials, they would be able to challenge the 3 of Something trials. The same goes when players want to challenge the 4 of Something trails. They must complete two out of four 3 of Something trials first. So, players have to progress through the difficulty step by step.
Each symbol of the card represented the type of trial in that card world:
Spade Card is a survival world where the main objective was purely to survive for a certain period of time. There could be other objectives, hidden or not, that would give additional rewards.
Heart Card is a roleplay world where players were given a role to play. There are plots in that world. Without alarming the NPC in that world, players have to complete the task or quest assigned to them through their role. For example, a scene of the murder was laid out in front of the players. Players were assigned the role of a detective, police officer, forensic doctor, etc., and had to find the culprit among the many suspects. There would be no time limit in this world. As long as the culprit was caught, the trial is cleared. But, if not, they could be stuck in that world forever. This is just one of the examples of the plots in Heart Card.
Diamond Card is an escape world, similar to an escape room, where the player's main objective was to escape the world. There are puzzles, traps, mazes, hidden rooms, and many more things that players need to do and clear to reach the exit of this world. Inside this world, treasures chests consisting of ability or tool cards could be hidden somewhere, waiting for players to discover it.
Lastly, Club Card is a game room. It has a similar concept to the squid game movie, but not gory. There would be winners and losers inside this world. The game would be presided over by the Club Master. Players could be told to play a poker game in this world, or a hide and seek game, mafia game, werewolf game, Simon Says game, every game from simple to hard could the trial in this world. All players need to do here is to win the game.
Other than the main objective of the game, each player would also have a random sub-quest that would be assigned to them. This sub-quest could be different for each player, or they could be the same. It might even clash with the objective of other's players. For example, player A got a sub-quest to rob the bank. While player B got a sub-quest to secure the bank. Completing the sub-quest is not mandatory. Players can still clear the trial without doing the sub-quest. But clearing one would give an additional reward that would give them more ability or tool cards for them to use. This was why, despite going through the trial together, players are not always in the same boat.
Failing to complete the trial in the Card World would result in punishment from the system. The lightest punishment would be having a card or two that players possessed disappear completely. It would mean that the skill or ability that players had, or a tool (such as weapons or gears) players get from the card of mystery box would no longer be usable. The most severe punishment would be being sent to the Punishment World. This world would have random, harsh living conditions and players have to survive this unforgiving environment for a set amount of days, If they survive, they could challenge the Card World again. If they failed, they died for real.

Roles
In this roleplay, you can be:
[Players]
Your Character(s) would be players in this Card World. You can make up to 3 characters at the maximum. The main requirement is they have to be human. There is no limit to the edge or gender of the character. Your character(s) can be anything; police, doctor, fighter, high-schooler, home wives, etc., etc. as long as they are human. Yes, they can use their job specialties (if they have them) to help them go through the trials. All of the players would be in the same world and trial each time. They could be teammates, friends, rivals, enemies, strangers, siblings, anything you want. Just note that they would have to go through the trials together. But some would be able to pass while the others have to re-do. That's why they won't always be in the same boat. The benefits they could get from each world would vary, depending on the character's luck. They might also have different sub-quest that might clash or overlapped with other people's sub-quest, making them have to fight for them, as mentioned earlier. Heads-up, you can choose to have more characters under the premise that they would be killed. If you don't want to do that, it's fine too. The GM could just conjure up random side characters that would be killed along the way, just to make things more realistic.
[Game Master]
Yes, you can be a GM in this roleplay. To be more specific, this would be a collaborative roleplay. The position of the GM would be given in rotation. For instance, I would be the GM for the first world; The 2 of Spade tutorial world. The settings, the objective, the sub-quest, the zombies, the maps, even the plot of this world, I would have control over all of it. Don't worry, a GM doesn't have the right to discriminately kill players as long as you didn't ask for it yourself. They just have the power to control the flow of the story so it wouldn't stray too far from the main objective. After this world, any one of you could volunteer to be a GM for the next world. If you have a plot for 2 of Heart world, for example, you can set the plot, the role of players, the objective, anything, while the other would play your world. What you have in store for this world would be up to you. You want there to be a space war? so be it. That would be the trial. You want to have a Jigsaw puzzle for the 2 of Diamond world? You got it. You could be the god for this world that you designed yourself. The only rule is to be fair and reasonable. One more thing to note is that a GM can decide the reward that players would get from the mystery box. But, players could request the GM for the reward that they wanted. As long as it was approved by the GM, you can have that reward. But, if you didn't request any reward, the GM would randomly assign the reward for you. Again, it would have to be fair and just.
