Victor pounded on the thug's comment, regarding all of them being immature.

"Perhaps you are right." That was a lie. "Our squabblings has not been beneficial for all of us and I guess we let all our emotions get the better of us." Not me of course. "Hell, we do not even know each other's name. Perhaps once we landed, let us reintroduce ourselves in a more...controlled environment." So that redhead would not just puke her guts out again. "I feel that we are about to land soon anyway, so...Fraunen und Bier immer von unten." That was a German saying that hopefully, Victor used properly.

That was all a joke for Victor of course, does the thug really think they could all just forgive and forget and get along like the event in the plane had never happened? But Victor would not want to start the school year surrounded by enemies so it was best to just play along for now.

Receiving word in the middle of class that a world-class hero school had accepted her was probably one of the most shocking events of her life. The girl dressed in traditional Japanese highschool attire marched out of class ripping open the letter as she was escorted to her parents. They were already called, waiting out front for her to bring her home. Her eyes must have traced over the letter a million times on the drive home not believing she was actually accepted. Her parents were both ecstatic though, more so her mother than her father, as she'd be following in the footsteps of her aunt. Her aunt was a famed heroine in Africa, where her mother was from, so of course the sibling would be excited her own seed was following in great footsteps. Her parents weren't heroes or anything like that. Her father was a Japanese businessman, her mother a pediatrician. They were an upper-middle-class family that lived comfortably in Shibuya enjoying some of the finer things but not going overboard like others who don't know the worth of coin. "興奮していますか?" Her mother asked as they pulled into their driveway wondering if her daughter was excited to start her new life.

"興奮以上!" She responded as she ran up to her room to start packing. Portia was never one to overpack, no, in fact she only packed what she deemed truly necessary. She packed all of her belongings into one large suitcase and some important items in her backpack. For the next two days, she'd spent that time with her parents giving them all the attention they'd be missing while she was away. They acted like a normal family, both adults taking off work to give devoted time to their sole daughter and future heroine. When the time came for her to leave they both dropped her off at Haneda, the closest airport to her house, waving and saying tearful goodbyes. She boarded the airline swiftly, not wasting any time between her first flight connecting to Shanghai. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary. A pregnant woman in front of her, a married couple to her left, and her row was shared with a sleeping college student. The first flight was peaceful in a sense, it allowed her to clear her thoughts before getting to Shanghai.

The station was huge, larger than the one she had just departed from. She felt a bit small standing alone with her backpack in a sea of people who all knew where they were headed. Since she was going to be taking two flights she opted to dress comfortably today. Her hair press-ironed straight with a pastel pink clip to hold it back. She wore a fuzzy pink oversized sweater that had a little brown bear face over her heart matched with black jogger sweats and sneakers. Where do I go from here..? Portia thought. The letter included a ticket so she checked the ticket and went to the front desk. The receptionist informed her of her luggage being sent to another location and her flight was ready for boarding already. She was swiftly ushered through customs and security to the boarding deck where she was seated on an oddly designed plane. What was odder about it was that Portia was the only person in the entire cabin. The woman said the plane would be departing immediately and took off back down the hallway but the moment she entered the door shut and the aircraft began to take off. "なんてこった!!" She gasped throwing herself down into a seat. I hate this I hate this I hate this I'm gonna die- There weren't seatbelts or anything to hold on to so Portia grabbed the bottom of the seat and held onto it to brace herself but as she felt she would get thrown from the seat, she wasn't. The seat glowed with a blue light and her body felt weighted to the seat during the takeoff. Her eyes tightly shut praying to herself that she wouldn't die on this plane. She hated vehicles, she hated the lack of control she had over them. She wasn't motion sick or anything of the sort but the thought of vehicular homicide terrified her. As the craft stabilized the light faded and she was allowed to move around. A voice came over the loudspeaker addressing her alone by name, which was strange because she was sure she didn't see a sole onboard with her. The blue-haired beauty looked back, pushing a loose strand out of her face as she did so. She was right, she was here alone. It was unsettling to say the least. Was she the only candidate that was accepted? Was she the only one who came from Asia? Her concerns started flooding her mind as she sunk down into the seat. The AI spoke about the odds being in her favor so surely there were other students accepted. This was what she wanted, this was what she applied for, and she'd do anything to earn her spot. She'll prove she's the most capable of being a hero no matter what it takes.

For a while the rumbling silence made her uncomfortable but after putting her earbuds in, it was more peaceful not having anyone to break her concentration. She visualized what the school would be like, what kind of people would be there, the heroes she'd meet. She imagined making friends and going on internships if that was the sort of thing they did. Since it was based in another country she was excited to learn something new about the local environment. She already was fluent in several languages aside from her mother tongue so learning some more wouldn't hurt her. The flight felt short, it took exactly forty minutes as she was informed. It followed the same procedures for landing as it did taking off but it felt smoother now that she was prepared for it. She was in Moscow now, the brisk cold air hitting her face as she exited the aircraft. At a second glance it was unlike any plane she'd ever seen. "すごい..." Portia marveled as she followed the path into the airport. Contrary to the other airports she had been to today as well as the airplane she had departed from, this drab one was far less inviting. This was also her first time seeing other people in about an hour. This is the shittiest airport I have ever seen. It was somewhat comforting to know she wouldn't have to stay in a creepy place such as this alone but she also didn't want to go out of her way to approach anyone. They didn't look to be the most approachable but neither was she. Odds were she could communicate with them with the six languages she spoke but she still didn't want to take a chance yet. She wanted to silently observe while getting over the dazed feeling the flight gave her. The thought occurred to ask about where her suitcase was as she sat on a bench closer to the window but hearing the staff say 'Baggage' and pull out a small box made her think it wasn't here. None of the others seemed to have more than a backpack to their name and they'd been here longer so obviously their luggage wasn't here. It was mostly delivered straight to the school or some other obscure location never to be seen again. Portia was more than glad now that she packed all of her more important things as well as a secondary pair of clothes in her bag since she doubted she'd see that suitcase again. Her eyes stated fixated on the window watching the grey clouds move from the sky rolling over the mountainside. "お母さんにテキストを送ってくれたらいいのに…少なくとも、私がここに無事に着いたことを彼女に知らせてください。" She wanted to message her mother, let her know she was safely at the airport but when she looked at her phone she didn't have service. International connection wasn't something she'd thought about at the time before leaving so she couldn't use her phone for anything communication-based.

Her eyes watched for more flights coming in. Another group of students presumably. I wonder what they'll be like. Everyone here already seemed to be her age so she figured this was the central meeting point where they'd be escorted to the school. Still, for a prestigious school, there were no authority figures to greet them, no guidance for how to get from point a to point b, and no reason for her not to believe this isn't a mass kidnapping. They were herded to one location, following along blindly without question to a destination they weren't entirely told of. None of this was as alarming as not a soul from the school being here to greet them. At the very least she'd thought there'd be a bus or some kind of shuttle ready, someone who would provide some kind of insight. The teen felt alone, confused, and skeptical but she wanted to see it through. She signed up for this as she kept reminding herself.

Felix had been thankfully undisturbed before the sudden turbulence. His noise cancelling headphones were jostled about his head, and he groggily pulled up his blindfold, looking past the girl he shared a row with. There was an odd blue-green tint to everything, and it was darker than it should've been. A marlin passed the window. Felix paused to process.

"We're underwater?... Oh. We're still moving."

He said, removing his headphones fully. Then, he adjusted his position, ignored the panicking girl, and pressed the flight attendant button. He felt dehydrated, despite their very wet surroundings, and needed something to drink. Probably just a bottle of water. One of the little flight-friendly sized ones. He understood that ignoring the frightened girl next to him was probably going to upset her, but why would she be frightened? The plane hadn't crashed, and it was moving as though it was supposed to be underwater. No emergency lights or announcements, just a lot of people marveling at their now-underwater plane. He guessed he missed the initial panic, the reason she was scared, but that was something for the steward to take care of when they arrived.

"Wonder what other features this thing has... Reminds me-" Felix paused here, to yawn. "Reminds me of home..."

He said, thinking of the overly clean and sterile-seeming place he'd grown up in. He didn't know if any of the other students were the family of super-scientists, but he knew that any who weren't were to be envied. They got a lot of color and brightness and... Well, general homey-ness in their homes. His home felt more like the lab at its heart: Cold, clean, and scientific. He wasn't sure what to expect from this super-school, but already it promised more of the same...

Alexei blinked sleepily at the employee, squinting her eyes a bit, for the lights were pretty bright. "ГМ, Простите, сэр! вы знаете, где находятся туалеты?" She asked them, clutching onto the strap of her Duffel bag as if she was afraid someone would try and snatch it from her. She hated airports, bad bad memories arose from airports. Alexei shook her head, trying to shake the memories away. It didn't work. Alexei's eyes landed on the teary-eyes girl, and a brief flash of concern crossed her features, and was going to comfort her, but the girl she had met on the plane beat her to it. "ну и ладно... может быть, я спрошу об этом девушку позже..." Alexei mumbled to herself, pulling the sweater sleeves down and over her hands, so only the very tips of her fingers were visible, and then proceeded to turn back to the employee. "А теперь насчет туалетов."

Max kept to himself most of the flight. He was too nervous about the whole situation to interact. He was reading his copy of "Broken Hands" by Lex Lovegood. He only looked up when he saw a fish swim by the window out of the corner of his eye. At first, he was scared, but then he realized the plane seemed to be fine. No sirens or flashing lights to indicate an emergency so he assumed this must be normal. He went back to reading his book.

While Luce missed the initial conversation with the AI voice, she definitely noticed when the blue force suddenly surrounded her and kept her pinned in. Looking up to see why, she peered out the window only to grow pale as she saw how steep the angle and rate of their descent was.

When the jet broadened out over the water, Luce felt a brief moment of relief before jumping slightly as she heard noises throughout the aircraft. Mechanical noises were never good on a complicated piece of machinery flying hundreds of miles an hour over an ocean with no hope of rescue.

The AI voice at least warned her the plane would be submerging. As a result, she only gasped once as the plane met the water and sank.

Once the propellers came on and the vessel began moving forward, Luce breathed out a great sigh of relief.

At least James looked like he was having a good time. She smiled briefly as she heard his whoop. Maybe she’d work up to one of her own. Maybe. Not this second, though. Not until she got her pulse under control again.

Still pinned by the blue force field, Luce could only hear Alice’s sounds of panic. “No way!” she yelled back to the other girl. “My Dad’s a Hero, they’d never get away with it. This is just...you know...some kind of secret lair so we can train without anyone in the world knowing what we’re doing.”

Hopefully Alice wouldn’t know how much Luce’s words were for herself too.

Branne scowled at Victor's phrase. It seemed that the British boy either enjoyed angering people, or he was simply stupid. She would have liked to think it was the latter, but his actions so far suggested- no, stated, the former. What might his ability be that makes him so confident as to antagonize a plane of superpowered people?

"Sie haben das große Glück, dass ich kein Erbrechen mag, Stick Boy.", she responded to Victor in German. "Sonst würden wir erfahren, wie feuerfest dieses Flugzeug ist. Let's schtop fighding undil vee can truly brawl. If I moffe I'll loze my inzites."

Disipoined that English hadn't worked, her only additional language, she wasn't sure what else to try. Understanding the girl's meaning her smile softened a bit. While still a bit strained it was a bit more relaxed and natural. "Katerina," She responded in kind, pointing to herself. She extended her hand out to the girl to shake hands.

She tried to think for a bit as what to do to communicate with the girl. If only she knew what language the girl might know or why she was here alone. Deciding to attempt to pantomime to the girl she pointed at the girl then doing a thumbs up then pointing it down. "Ладно?" (okay?)

As they were instructed to sit back down Angelite skipped back to her seat. "Enemy territory? I wonder who those would be?" She asked aloud to nobody in particular. turning to the panicking girl she gave a sympathetic look. "I'm sure well be okay," She called back in hopes help her.

Then turning her attention to outside the window as the lights had turned back on she looked at the surrounding ocean waters, hoping to see some cool animals.

Flight 316
A beep signaled over head, letting the students know that the A.I. was going to speak up once more. "If you all are done bickering....I would like to stop depleting my energy and finally land like we should have 15 minutes ago." If the students looked out the window they would realize that they have been flying in circles. “Welcome to Ulaanbaatar. Take your seats as the plane will be landing.” The chairs started to glow the same blue hue and the children were held down. There was no need to destabilize as A.I. 316 had been gradually slowing down while it flew in around the airport. Olly had made his way over to everyone's shoes but quickly rushed back into his compartmentas the plane started to descend. The landing was as smooth as the take off, the seats released them and the door opened, letting in some of the cool air from outside. "Please exit the plane. Aim high, and may the odds be in your favor.” The students were released on the airfield, common protocol for a private jet. Outside they could actually see the aircraft they were flying. The airplane already looked like something from another planet, it even looked more out of place in comparison to their surroundings. Once they took in their plane and there rural surroundings, the students would walk into the simple, crudely built airport. There was a stark difference between the high tech plane and their destination. There were no outlets available to charge any devices and no tv’s to keep the occupied. There were already students at the airport. One was struggling to communicate with a greek girl whose eyes were red from crying. Two other students were at the front desk trying to gather information.

Moscow Airport
The Airport worker's smile was fading when another student approached also speaking a foreign language. "Я не понимаю...." The man shrugged his shoulders giving a sympathetic look. "школа" He motioned over to the box of lost and found."может быть полезным." He could not help Alexei. The lost and found had belongs from other students, he hoped she could find insight. It was mainly knick knacks but there was a school log written in russian. A past student must had left it there going home.

The girl said nothing to Katerina, she understood but was not too sure how to answer that question. Instead she chose to ignore it. Amalthea reached into her book back and pulled out a letter. It was written in greek but the format was the same as the acceptance letter the students received, along with the school's symbol on top. Amalthea was wondering if they were their to attend the Academy.

Flight 666
"Please calm down" The A.I. Was calculating ways to deal with the screaming child and did not release the hold from her seat in fear she would jeopardize the others safety. "We will only be submerged for 30 minutes Alice. The rest of these students have applied to the school, they school would not kill future heroes just to eliminate a child part of the reform program." A.I. 666 was trying to calm her using logic, but also revealed her identity as well. As far as everyone else was concerned they were all future heroes. "Once we get past Sweden we will take flight again and land shortly after."

Victor was taken back by the redhead's German. He couldn't understand most of it but judging my her aggressive deminer, it was not a compliment. The only words he could understand was the last few words declaring to cease their argument.
"That was precisely what I was declaring. Have you not been listening or have your vomit finally reached your ears?"

Before Victor could get a response the A.I spoked, mocking all of them for their bickering. It implied that it had been driving them around aimlessly the entire time and oddly enough it also spoked informally, contrasting from the previous interactions they had earlier. Who's idea was it to give an A.I a personally? An intolerable one at that. It welcomed them to a place called Ulaanbaatar and the chairs glowed blue. Victor felt strapped in by an invisible force yet again, at least he kept hold of his cane this time. He felt the plane landing as they had already reached their destination. The tiny robot quickly cleaned their shoes before hiding to its little container within the plane.

The plane landed, it was smooth as its takeoff from earlier, and the doors opened. The A.I greeted them goodbye, repeating the vague chant from earlier. Victor carried himself outside and marvelled at the plane's architecture. It was strangely smooth and had an odd egg shape to it, impressive nonetheless. What was not impressive however was the surrounding area.

The area seemed to be rural and the airport looked poorly built. There was young men and women already there who looked to be interacting with the staff members. They must have been the other students. Besides the plane, so far Victor was unimpressed.

He turned to the rest of the group. "Shall we get going gentlemen?"

"Hey, it's okay," James said to the panicking girl, trying to figure out what the protagonist of the last RPG he'd played would do. Probably tell her to shut up, Squall wasn't too friendly, so he was no good in this scenario.

"Stuff like this happens in video games all the time. A plane this swanky has to have a rebreather mouthpiece or twenty thousand other safety features and life preservers, that's fancy vehicle tech rule zero. Even if we crash, we'll be fine. It'll just be cold, and we were just in Canada." He hoped that sounded comforting. "Besides, we've got the skills to withstand a crash. Chris can pull a Michael Vey and magnetize this thing to keep it whole, the fourteenth Doctor over there can probably scare sharks away, gravity girl can move us, Angelite can heal anyone that gets hurt, I'm not sure what Moody over there does, but he can help move debris if nothing else. Even if there aren't rebreathers, I'll grow gills and function the same for you guys. This is literally the worst plane they could try to get rid of by crashing it."

Jim hoped that sounded comforting to Alice. He honestly had no idea if that plan would even work, but it was worth a shot.

Branne didn't hear Victor. As soon as the plane had announced that they should exit, she was out the door before the AI had finished speaking. She didn't really care where they were as long as she wasn't on that aluminum demon anymore. "Fick ja!", she exclaimed as she finally stood on solid ground that wasn't moving.

All told, she wasn't too bothered by the lack of technology in the airport. She didn't even own a watch, she melted most devices she held. Completely ignoring Victor, she took a few moments to get her bearings before making her way to the front desk, waiting in line behind the other two who were speaking with the person behind the desk.

Oliver is overjoyed for the plane to finally land. The plane was started to smell of vomit, so Oliver is just glad to be gone from it. He was surprised by the location; the airport is run down and appeared to be in the middle of nowhere.

Victor’s comment of “Shall we get going gentlemen?” was puzzling since Branne is clearly not a man. Oliver figured it was probably intended as an insult to her. “Time to have some fun” Oliver said to Victor as Oliver strolled past him. There were many other people there at the airport. Oliver was glad, he looked forward to meeting new people as the main focus of discussion on flight 316 was a debate over the etiquette of vomiting.

Sighing at the lack of response her expression slowly returned to her usual annoyed expression. Watching as girl pulled out the piece of paper she grew more curious though it didn't really show. Scanning over the piece of paper she couldn't really understand she could see the similarities in their languages. That helped narrow down the girl's origin's to a few countries. She also recognized the logo of the school on the page. Oh, so she must be, or have been, a student. Interesting.

Sliding her bag off her shoulder she reached into the front pocket to pull out her acceptance letter. I guess it's helpful that all her personal, not stolen, belongings fit into this one bag. After unfolding the paper she showed it to the girl.

Seeing that a new group of students was arriving she frowned. Returning to a starting position, she reached her hand out to the girl while motioning with her head to her Russian acquaintances. "Давай," she said curtly waiting for the girl to take her hand before walking over to the desk where the other 2 were speaking to desk worker.

Velka did not lost anything- well maybe in some way being there property but it was not lost it was- never mind. Looking at the contents she notice maybe that small journal was the little girls? She docent know her name but better keep that in mind since Katerina was talking to her. Velka was not paying attention well but, with a sigh, Maybe best speak Russian Judging by the journals tittle now would it? Or maybe her brain dint process well or she is dumb by talking English. Velka tilted her head as if confused and looked at the man about to say something but as quick Alexei came and asking about the toilets and still the worker seem unable to understand? Well things seem a bit awkward now to be honest.

Looking over Katerina seem to be done and well now best time to see. Looking at Alexei and then the worker and scratching her neck, Velka smile and nodes as if yes she did lose "Something" reached in taking the Journal and speaking in Russian "I think this might be from some one i know, let me check" And now with the journal in hand she proceeded to open it and skim to the pages seeing if there was anything of interest, especially a full name or anything that could tie it to the little girl, she looked at Katerina for a quick second before continue to read wondering if it belong to her or if anything interesting.

Felix was annoyed until he realized he'd just been turning his little AC vent on and off. Then he noticed that there was no button to call an attendant... And he hadn't seen any attendants. He briefly tried to convince himself this was fine until the AI spoke. So, summarizing everything, he was in a high-tech AI-run plane, the plane was underwater, and it had assured the students that they wouldn't be harmed. Felix took a moment to extend his tray table. Then he slammed his forehead into it. Then, forehead still on the table, he asked a question.

"Miss... Plane AI? I'd like to know where you were built and by whom. Because, CERTAINLY, such an amazing high-end vehicle could NOT be the work of the beautifully evil Professor Krakenina, or her army of CyberSquidPeople. After all, this is a sophisticated Air-Seacraft, far beyond her capacity to create... And about 15 till the video call connects..."

He said, sitting back up and setting a timer on his watch for fifteen seconds. Felix often considered his power a burden, and the annoyance called Krakenina was a part of that. He'd been threatened, kidnapped, and fooled by a fair few villains, and she was one of the more persistent ones. Now, Felix didn't consider her a threat at all, but she was sooo annoying... Her speeches were long, he always felt weird about being kidnapped by something with that many tentacles, and she just KEPT SHOWING UP. And, as the timer hit 00:00 and beeped, he looked to the video screen and said

"So... Are you NOT going to call with an annoying speech this time?"

Every word the stupid blonde said felt like a knife plunging deeper and deeper into Alice's stomach. Alice couldn't help but stare at her with a twisted glare of horror and revolt.

"No!" She spat, each following word like a consequent punch at Angelite. "Do you even know ANYTHING about the reform program? I don't WANT to be a hero, I want to be left alone."

Then she stared back down at her lap, wondering how this day could possibly get any worse. "And don't you dare ever ask me about it again." Luckily some knob was yelling about 'evil professor Krakenina' and maybe Alice would be left alone now.

The redhead seemed to be well too eager to have landed and quickly strode behind what seemed to be the reception desk. The browned hair boy himself responded with a "Time to have some fun." Victor could not really see what fun was there to have in this poor man's airport but he followed him to the rest of the students nonetheless.

He walked up the new groups of students. There was nothing important to note except one of them had computer parts embedded into her, whether it was part of her gift or manually implanted into her body he could not figure out. If it was the former, what a sad excuse of a gift.
"Excuse me," Victor announced. "my fellow plane mates and I had just arrived and I was curious whether someone will be arriving to take us to this Hero Academy. Not to be in a rush, it is just that my experience within the flight has not been...pleasant."

The worker walked away from his desk, ignoring the growing line of students. He walked over to Amalthea, her flight was here. He tapped her on the shoulder to single it was time for her to go home. The girl stood grabbing her bag giving Katerina a nod and shaking her hand before scambeing off to her plane. During her hand off the girl passed a piece of paper off to Katerina. On the note was weird symbols that were type out. It almost looked like Hieroglyphics, but none of the shapes resemble anything seen on earth before.

Flight 666
The A.I. was right, the plane wasn't submerged for long. The voice came on informing them there was no more detected danger and they would be taking flight yet again. If one/some/all (of) the students wished to get a last glimpse of their ocean surroundings ,those with decent eye sight could make out what appeared to be two distant figures in the water. It could have just been a fish but they looked almost humanoid. They had no chance to investigate as they were out of the waters and taking flight over land, indicating that they were closing in on their destination.

While the AI's refusal to respond worried Felix, he was sure that if there was a villain behind this, they were serious. Most of the ones he knew would've been hitting him with some grand speech about a master plan by now. The silence unsettled him. He longed for his body armor, or that earring that unfolded into a lockpick, or... Anything he could rely on! The other students didn't necessarily count...

Sure, the Reform student was next to him, but she was a known quantity. He understood her desire to be left alone, and he would grant her that. He'd be quiet. It was everyone else he wasn't sure about. The girl behind them, asking naive questions? She seemed innocent, but prying questions, and the information they were after, seemed suspicious to him. The guy who only sought to reassure them? He was assuring them that they could rely on his powers. What if he was wrong? Worse, what if the boy learned what Felix could do? Would he want Felix's power for himself? Felix felt paranoid. He saw power-hungry students everywhere, and he knew that if he wanted to spot a real threat, he had to get objective about it.

So, Felix stood up, stretched, and turned around, walking back to the bathroom. He made sure to shoot the questioning girl a sharp glare on the way, in the hopes that he'd discourage further questions. He walked in, closed the door, and sat down.

-later, after surfacing-

Felix had missed the sighting of the mer-people, but he had calmed himself with his meditation playlist. Unfortunately, no one student stuck out as a threat. He stayed quiet, not saying a word to anyone. He didn't even look in the direction of his aisle-mate. Instead, his eyes wandered across all the other students. If there were an open seat, he'd consider switching away to give the girl next to him more space. On the other hand, that would probably invite people to bother her. So he was stuck there. His eyes kept settling on a boy with white hair. Felix didn't get it. White hair wasn't the most uncommon thing in this age of superheroes, but something about him... Felt weird. There was a presence, a feeling that he was more than he seemed. Why? Everyone on this plane was more than they seemed! All of them, superpowered individuals! Why, why did he draw Felix's eye? It was confusing, and Felix didn't like it. Not. One. Bit. It didn't feel like a mental power, or some pheromone, it was just some... Some intuitive thing in Felix's head. What the heck was it?

Max felt eyes on him. It was somewhat unsettling. He wondered why he had drawn someone's attention. He looked up from his book to see if he could spot who was watching him. Eventually he locked eyes with a black haired girl. No. A boy? He was quite feminine looking. He held eye contact for about three seconds, wondering who they were and why they were interested in him. Then he shrugged it off and went back to his book until they landed.

Jim, on account of his shoddy eyesight, didn't see the figures outside the plane as they passed by, not that he would have had a chance to react before they were way behind the plane at the speed it moved.

Pulling another food bar from his backpack, the wrappers of several others occupying a sandwich bag in the same pocket, and his headphones, Jim leaned back in his seat and scrolled through his notes from his previous classes. They were almost certainly as obsolete as a Game Boy Color at this point, surely the curriculum at the academy would be different in nature, but he doubted he could get a signal on this plane and he'd neglected to download the .mp3's of his favorite bands.

He was primarily scrolling through biology, per the nature of his ability. Nature already had most every possible adaptation to every possible situation, so it would be easier to emulate animals than to come up with his own responses.

He was in the process of wondering if he could combine the armor of an ironclad beetle with a crocodile's scales, but didn't get very far in his postulation when he saw movement in the corner. The quiet kid that hadn't made a peep the entire trip.

"Would you care to join us?", James asked Max.

Branne looked visibly confused when the attendant left his post, but understanding dawned to a certain degree when she realized he was telling the crying girl it was time to leave. Considering she was crying and the only one boarding her plane, and as far as Branne could tell the rest were students, the redhead figured she must have failed or been denied or expelled for whatever reason. Branne felt sorry for her. How many times had she been expelled for accidentally setting buildings on fire? And how many foster homes had kicked her out when that happened?

This reminiscence was quickly interrupted by Stick Boy complaining again. That had to be his ability, to find the slightest thing to complain about and blow it so completely out of proportion that it wasn't even able to be taken seriously anymore, it was just exhausting for all involved. Like a nagging mother when a mess she had made five seconds ago hadn't been cleaned last night.

"Ignore him, he zinks mozion zickness is ein cabidal hoffenze," she said to the other students, more irritated with the Brit-Brat's constant complaints thinly veiled under "proper language" than anything else.

The panicking girl seemed to calm down, which was a relief. Not that Luce didn’t feel for her but this whole flight was so outside of her experience. Talking computers, sci fi seats and planes that dove into the water, that was some freaky shit. Sure, the technology could probably be trusted. This was for making heroes, after all. But head knowledge and heart knowledge were different and the practical facts hadn’t reached her heart, just yet.

Deadwood Deer Deadwood Deer
Much to her surprise, Luce found James’ comforting ramble of facts to be actually comforting. Never mind that no one on this plane had practical practice with using their powers in an emergency, the boy seemed to radiate confidence. Between the other kids on this plane and the vehicle’s presumed safety features, they really would be alright.

ArchAngelLexi ArchAngelLexi Natural Flavour Natural Flavour
Angelite’s questions at last registered and Luce craned her neck to look at the alleged reform student. She looked normal. But then, she was a teenager. They all were.

Angelite’s questions finally made Luce frown and she said, “Hey, give her a break. She wouldn’t be here if she didn’t want-.”

But then Alice came back with the revelation that she didn’t want to be here after all. Luce promptly shut her mouth and stared for a moment, trying to get why the girl had come then.

Graystone713 Graystone713
Until the thud of Felix’s head against the tray made Luce look. She frowned and watched him for a moment, until his series of comments directed at the computer turned her off to listening anymore. He didn’t make a lot of sense but he wasn’t talking to her anyway.

Dumplingboy Dumplingboy maji
So instead she went back to looking out the window. As the plane began to emerge, Luce’s eyes narrowed as she spotted those two semi-humanoid figures out in the water. What the hell was that? Were they part of the enemy territory the plane said it was passing through?

She turned back to the rest of the students on Flight 666 to ask but, looking at their faces, Luce doubted they knew any more than she did.

What the hell was going on here?

Flight 666
The voice came over once again, letting the student know that they have reached their destination.Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. The plane destabilized, and the students were held back in there chairs as they landed. The students were released from there seats and 666 said it's goodbye's. "Aim high, and may the odds be in your favor.” It was chilly , the warmth of the sun beginning to fade as it fell behind the hills. They would exist the plane into what you cold assume was an airport. There was a stark difference between the high tech plane and there destination. There were no outlets available to charge any devices and no tv’s to keep the occupied. There was only one staff member and a few other possible students scattered about the terminal.

As the students from flight 666 filed out out of the plane into the airport a bus pulled up out front. The worker was relieved that he no longer had to awkwardly smile while the students attempted to communicate with him. The students from flight 666 had no time to stretch their legs or ask questions as the would need to move onto the hightech bus quickly. As the students filled the bus they would notice that like the plane, there was no staff, no bus driver, it wasn't even clear how the bus moved at all. Despite the lack of steering and absence of a driver the bus took off anyway. Everyone was settling in for what may have been a lengthy buss ride, or perhaps like the plane ride would take almost no time at all, when they noticed someone was out of place. Already sitting on the buss a stocky girl, perhaps around the age of 16. She was wearing what could have been the school uniform. None of the passengers has ever seen an attendant of the school but the crisp yellow uniform did have the schools symbol on the upper right of her chest. She did not seem to pay the newbies to much attention, if one were to make eye contact with her she would give a friendly smile, but she wasn't rushing over to introduce herself. She seemed to be enjoy the soft hum of the buss and the view of the mongolian mountains as the sun set behind them.

"But... vhy?", Branne groaned when she realized she would have to get on another vehicle. Oh, how she hated this school already if this was any indication of what the school year would be like. Stepping on the bus, she sat in the far corner and prepared for another hellish ride. She definitely should have gotten sedatives for this.
