Kiel's anger, which Pozou found to be perfectly justified, towards the woman who had crippled him, strummed an oddly relatable chord within him. Losing something, even if it had been an injury or a seemingly replaceable lost object, opened a gateway to grief, anger, suffering. Then always came the acceptance. Pozou was still waiting for the acceptance in consideration to his own problems, but with the Well being a Holy Relic to soothe one's sufferings, Pozou had shut the door on the pathway to acceptance. Kiel's goal of satisfaction, if it was a little bloodthirsty, at least allowed him to look forward to something, or fantasise to cope with his current predicament. He wasn't so sure what to respond with and could only nod, though, he doubted Kiel could see his supporting gesture outlined in the darkness.
Pozou could feel Kiel's smile, if he couldn't see it. But it hadn't made him feel any better, for not being entirely honest with him. He forced his own smile in the dark, thankful that Kiel couldn't see him struggling. "Younger siblings always keep us older ones on our toes," he told him, glad that Kiel could relate to him in one sense. "I'm starting to think that's our unpaid job..."
It seemed Kiel had taken his word on it. Pozou felt some relief ease in amongst his aching, and yet, that guilt seeped into his chest again. Kiel had been so open with him, and shared his own wish, regardless of whether it had been an obvious one or not. He kept staring up at the tent and his lips twisted slightly at Kiel's hopefulness. "Yeah...I hope so too..." He murmured, fingers clasping in and out of the spaces between them. Whether he meant that in regards to Pelea's wish, or even his own, he wasn't so sure. For the briefest of moments, he wanted to say he had his wish. But to come out with it...
Pozou huffed and shook his head. Now wasn't the time. Not after the news Kiel had been given, though, he dealt with it so valiantly. He moved onto another topic. "Tell me more about your tribe. About your home. Or, well, uh...homes. You travelled a lot, didn't you?"
