Plot: You are a citizen, immigrant or long term visitor of/to the UDA and have decided to settle in the quaint town of Marrow Forest. It is situated in the warmer south of the UDA and sits on the border between a subtropical forest and a steppe. You may be living in one of the residential divisions (Forest City, Bone Gulley, New Uinaras, Marrowfield Trailer Park or Kharrak). The town has a population of about 6,000 and the nearest city is New Owinqir (pop. 150,000, is 30 km/20 mi away). Each person has their own story and the roleplay is rather more a slice of life thing. If more adventure is done is up to the roleplayers.

Possible scenarios:

-Hunting trip
-Barbeque
-Vigilantism
-Demon gate opening
-Awkward foreigner doing unusual things in new country
- and so on

Depends on what you are up for.

Setting: The United Dominions of Alverias is a relatively young nation in the world. The continent of Alverias was discovered just a couple hundred years ago by explorers from the Avrovas continent. The explorers crossed the Sea of the End with eight ships full of elves, dwarves and humans. After an eight week journey, they found the new world and named it Alverias. It was inhabited by primitive, yet intelligent beings that later became known as orcs and hobgoblins. However as the colonists began to expand in Alverias, it came at the cost of orc and hobgoblin lives. One day, the United Dominions of Alverias was founded.

In modern times, the UDA is known to be a beacon of hope for those seeking to start anew. It has become a melting pot of cultures and hosts elves, humans, orcs, hobgoblins, goblins, dwarves and ogres amongst it's citizens. Sadly, due to many wars, the once populous humans have become a rarity in the world, being mainly found in the impoverished authoritarian kingdom of North Barinnia or as a tiny diaspora. Around 0.2% of UDA citizens are humans. The largest populations in the UDA are elves (around 30%), followed by dwarves (25%), goblins (15%), orcs (15%), hobgoblins (10%) and ogres (about 4.5%).

The UDA has one of the largest militaries in the world, is one of the largest economies in the world, if not the largest and can be pretty wild.

Social stereotypes for different species (because prejudice still exists in some minds in Alverias):

Elves: Snobbiness, stiff/unflexible personalities
Humans: Clumsy, overestimate themselves, simpletons
Dwarves: Rough and stubborn
Ogres: Barbaric, wild, eats any meat
Orcs: Primitive, unintelligent, violent
Goblins: Sly, sneaky, price gouging
Hobgoblins: Dumb, cowardly, utilitarian

Technology: Mostly modern technology such as automobiles, airplanes, computer electronics, TVs etc. However weaponry still remains mostly weapons like swords, staves, clubs etc. as due to the presence of magic, guns don't really exist or in case they do exist, they are morelike gunblades and precision rifles.

Cultures and the world: There are many parallels to the real world such as the UDA basically being a cross between the US and Canada just fantasy setting or other nations in the world can be based of real world nations. However not everything has to be based off of the real world. So if your character comes from some obscure nation that is nothing like something of the real world, it is not an issue.

Naming schemes: Place names in the UDA are largely named after elven or dwarven places in the old world. However there may be some deviations such as orc/hobgoblin place names or newer towns founded by goblins or ogres. Elves from Avrovas usually have names that are pseudo-celtic or pseudo-French. Dwarves tend to have more English or German sounding names. Goblins are found in many nations and you have relative freedom naming a goblin character. Ogres often have tribal or Asian (Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian mainly) sounding names. Orcs and hobgoblins can have adapted names (such as from elven, human or dwarven origin) or native orcish names (stuff like Ozgurr, Kirlok etc.). Humans tend to have English, Irish, Hispanic or Slavic names. If your character falls outside of the naming scheme, it would be allowed as long as there is an explanation for it.

Fauna: In the UDA, dire wolves, dire boars, wyverns and other large animals are commonplace but generally shy away from towns and cities. Usual civilization close pests such as raccoons still exist. Dragons are nearly non-existent in the inhabited parts of Alverias, but can be common on other continents such as where the ogres are from.

Magic: Magic is an important part of the world in the roleplay and many things wouldn't work without it. Each species tends to have their own traditional way of using magic. Elves focus on the arts and the sciences. Dwarves use magic for crafting. Ogres and orcs use magic for combat enhancement.

Also the types of magic: Elemental (fire, water/ice, wind, earth, lightning), taboo (death magic, blood magic, necromancy, abyssal), enhancement (combat, crafting, taming), light/healing magic, dark magic/summoning, illusion.

I will add a Lore page that could be continuously updated.
