"Growf!"
This is a Stranger Things fandom set in Fall of 1987. (The canon kids would be 16.) I have yet to watch SSN 4, except for the first couple episodes (which I half slept through thanks to being exhausted from work and need to rewatch).
To be honest, I would be happier with an original cast. I plan on running originals myself. But then I also love the original cast, so I am torn. IF WE DO use the original cast, I may allow them to start seeing through the illusions in use by the New Teachers. (Everyone else sees what they expect to see. It is called a Protocol Illusion. Even the driver's license Ms Shepard uses is illusory.)
This RP opens with a new school year with the kids getting older. The school has recently had an influx of new teachers. When our cast gets a chance to run into some of them, their “stranger things” sense will be kicked off by some of the odd behavior in town. True to the spirit of AD&D that the show is based on, the main plot will involve a staple of the roleplaying game industry. Hint: This one involves spiders.

Ms Sybil Shepard - Math (Her day starts with Algebra and works its way up to Calculus.)

Some are absolute sticklers for the Rules. Some clearly could care less. Some are clearly experienced teachers; others absolutely suck at it.
I may have some of them sponsor clubs if asked.
They all ride in the same mini-bus each morning.
They all have the same address. (Only Admin would know about this.)
Characters
You are welcome to create more than one character. But try not to overload yourself. I will need some NPCs for the town. But don’t expect ME to run them for you. I can only handle so many characters. I have a group of teachers, a very odd group at that.
I will be looking for a mix of both students and teachers. You may do more than one character, but please only one teacher. I am also open to other adult positions like Admin and Staff. Again, only one Principal.
If you create a teacher, try not to overlap courses. The school doesn’t need two chemistry teachers. But Math, English, etc …sure. A second Girls’ PE coach is fine though.
I will also be looking for people to play the parts of some of the town’s residents and roles such as law enforcement. Basically, any of the roles in the TV show. I have an idea for a new Mayor, or rather a mayoral campaign, Lillian Webb.
Once we start to uncover the plot, I will need some antagonists. I plan to run the main antagonist.
