There is nothing to fear
In the beginning there was an endless chaos filled with entities beyond comprehension. In one being however the spark of order was born and from it came the power to create an ordered universe. This being weaved a massive bubble 120 billion light years in diameter, created the laws of physics, then applied matter and energy to this creating all that is seen today in the universe. However he saw the lifeless universe as as insufficient and created the first beings of the pure chaos surrounding the universe and wove bodies of order for the chaos to inhabit. These were the precursors...
The precursors themselves were immensely powerful, born from the Cosmic creator they began to immediately use the knowledge of the laws of physics they were taught by the one who made the laws. Their technology developed rapidly and eventually they began to use it to perfect their bodies gaining immortality and immense power of their own. Under the influence of their cosmic creator they too created lifeforms, but when the creator left them to fight off the Pre-universal horrors that threaten our universe from beyond its borders the precursors were lost. The precursors continued to spread the seeds if life throughtout the universe creating millions of different alien species.
However there was a growing rift in the precursors civilization. One sect calling themselves the Creators Servants intended to tell the beings of their creator and prophesied his eventual return. Wheras the others Regarded themselves as the Masters of the Universe and thought all life forms to be little more than Slaves and Tools for amusement. This eventually resulted in a cosmic war which spread throughtout the entire universe. Solar systems and even a few galaxies were lost and entire species were decimated
Finally this war ended when The cosmic Creator returned. In a new form hardend by battle but grievously wounded, he put an end to the battle immedietly. gathering those who wished to enslave the universe and casting them beyond the universal edge. However with his dying breath the cosmic creator crafted a massive shell around the universe which acted as a barrier from the outter chaos and as a inescapable prison for the Masters of the Universe now regarded as The Forgotton. In the cosmic creators final moments he split himself into 8 essences and sent them to the heart of his universe...earth.
The First essence the Spirit of the Creator was distributed evenly amongst humanity and it allows the other 7 to be utilized by humans when possible. The other seven have only ever appeared one at a time and each one grants its user incredible power. They are the Eyes, Mind, Hand, Heart, Body, Blood, and the Voice of the Creator.
However after millions of years something strange and terrible has begun to happen. The Cosmic Creators universal shell has begun to crack. Causing the forgotton to fall into the external chaos where their bodies have become possessed by Chaos beasts. They wreak havoc on the universe conquering all that they cone into contact with and their scouts have just begun arriving on earth.
However there is another, more subtle, but equally powerful event taking place on earth. For the first time in history all 8 essences are manifested on earth. Sensing this the Remaining primordials and many alien races now gather around earth daring to put their hopes in the world chosen by the creator so long ago. Only time will tell if their hope is misplaced.
(Heya guys i wanted to make a cosmic epic story that would be as widely versatile as possible. There are several roles available from aliens, to Gods/Primordials, to Cyborgs, and even Hybrids of any or all of the above...however only normal 100% pure blooded human characters can recieve the Cosmic essences which i will be giving at random to human applicants. Sadly the Chaos beasts,Forgotten, conquered races, and the like are off limits. There can be infighting within reason...but these prime antagonists are not playable nor can you ally with them. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Ill start the threads when we have at least 7 pokes.)
