- sophocles, (she/her), also known as soph. iโm twenty-five years old, an architect by trade, and a writer at heart. little bit about me, my hobbies include video games, bullet journaling, crocheting, and daydreaming!
i'm in the central timezone and will be most active during the night hours on weekdays. weekends are free real estate. specifically six pm to eleven pm on weekdays, at least for detailed replies. i also will not be free at all hours of the day to chat ooc, so please donโt expect constant communication! i will respond when i can, so please donโt spam just to get an answer from me.
though, speaking of chatting, i am a very big fan! in order for us to bond as writers, we will need to form a comfortable relationship outside the story. i'm free to message in my private messages or over discord, whichever you prefer. i also enjoy peppering my partners with headcanons, moodboards, and playlists!
i have about ten years of writing & roleplay experience. my post lengths are on average around 500 words , while my starters range from 700 - 1000+ words. i will also try match my partner with whatever they are comfortable with doing. however, it really just depends on the pace. if the muse is there, quick, shorter posts may be the way to go! quality over quantity, especially to avoid burnout (from which i suffer constantly). it will be a learning process.
i write in third person, past tense, with plenty of description and detail. my style is flowery and fluffy in nature with an emphasis on inner dialogue. writing samples can be found here.

i'm only an original character writer. please do not ask me to write canons for any of my inspirations; i'm not interested. my interest lies with oc x oc pairings in original or fandom-inspired universes.
romance is the secondary plotline. i have no issue developing a romance between characters! however, i donโt enjoy putting a plot together just for the end goal to be a romance. i need some more meat on my bones.
that being said, iโm comfortable with all pairings and sexualities, so please don't be scared to be open with me. my own preference is writing male characters (those early years of no one wanting to write guys really shaped me), but i'm not opposed to write for women at all! it really just depends on the vibes.

1. fallout three. post-apocalyptic vintage. CLOSED
drought in the capital wasteland. tension between the enclave patriots and the brotherhood of steel. threats on all sides from the super mutants. would love to follow in the footsteps of the canon story for this.
a. muse a, the lone wanderer, leaving their vault life behind to look for their missing father, hires muse b, a cynical & world beaten mercenary, to help them bring water to the wastelands.
2. fallout new vegas. post-apocalyptic western.
civil war in the nuclear desert. an oasis built on the relic of a casino graveyard. factions vying for control of the mojave wasteland. craving to write against a courier.
a. dead money. does not have to be a strict focus, but would love to have our characters in that situation at some point.
3. fallout seventy-six. post-apocalyptic.
a new world in the wake of nuclear destruction. folks just trying to survive in radioactive appalachia. the revival of the responders.
4. metro. post-apocalyptic thriller.
the population in the eastern world forced underground following alien invasion and nuclear war.
a. muse a (a mechanic) & muse b (a soldier) are part of a team tasked to run maintenance on the tunnels surrounding a populous city. when a terrorist attack shatters the defenses and wipes out their team, the pair become the cityโs only chance of survival. emphasis on a โcanโt stand youโ to โi would die for youโ type relationship.
5. vampyr. historical horror.
england 1918, set at the end of world war i and during the outbreak of the influenza epidemic. the disease; a deadly disguise for a vampiric uprising. also craving the canon storyline.
a. muse a, an former army doctor, awakens from death to find themselves a vampire fledging. with the help of the mysterious muse b, an established vampire, they must choose between their hippocratic oath to stop the plague, or the bloodlust of their newfound immortality.
6. midnight mass. small town horror.
a town suffering the consequences of a religious terror.
