Shade was quick enough to dodge Miles jab even if it was by a very short second. He released a sigh as she attempted to hurl her darts towards him. He sent a horizontal wave of aura towards Shade, burning the darts within its path. As his aura went on, Miles dashes forward closing the distance she made. Barely passing by his side, was a paper bag that nearly hit him. He heard a voice from behind, but he ignored it, focusing on his true target in front. The distance was closed and he was yet again inches away from making contact, but this time his punch was blocked. Coming into contact with Ned's sheath, Miles aura sent a reactive burst of energy forward, lighting the sheath and few spots of the floor ablaze. "You." Miles said angrily. "Why must you continue to be in the way?" Miles asked gripping tightly onto his sheath. This Ned enters Miles guild in attempt to still his guild members delicates, then he interrupts his fight only because she was a lady. "Surely you have a death wish." Miles said with a smirk. "Especially with Tyson moments away from kicking your ass." Miles said predicting his brothers movements just before he appears directly in front of Ned and front kicks him into Shade. As he was kicked, Miles released his grip on the sheath and sent a blast of aura into both Shade and Ned. "I was going to do that regardless. I'm really tired of them both. Lets end this shit so I can go back to sleep." He said holding out his right fist flaring his aura. Solemn Jester Solemn Jester SidTheSkid SidTheSkid Mitchs98 Mitchs98

He survived the blow. Unsurprising. Instincts driving her every move by this point, she swiftly unlatched her hand from the man's face, and attempted to put some distance between herself and her opponent. She was, unfortunately, a little bit too slow. Both fists crashed into her helmet, and the impact sent her flying backwards onto the floor. Her body moved by itself, refusing to stay on the ground for more than just one second. Her hands planted themselves on the ground, and her knees reared themselves to her chest, and with a heave, she threw herself back onto her feet, and resumed her stance, as if she had not just received a powerful blow that had only just busted through her helmet.

Black shards fell off her cracked helmet, and with a wave of her hand, she brushed off the last few that clung on stubbornly to her visor. A good half of the helmet had been caved in from the impact of the S-rank dark mage's attack, revealing her eye and her eyepatch, and one half of her lips. Several shards had pierced through the skin on her face, and blood seeped out of the small cuts and the ugly gash across her cheek, but she barely noticed them, her eyes focused on her opponent in front of her. Her doubts, her insecurities, her embarrassment had all vanished within that one second. Darkness enveloped her physique, coating her in an aura of black and red flames, calmly flickering about herself. It was as if battle revealed another side of the young lady, one far different than the one they had seen just mere seconds ago.

"My name is Estella Akagi Burstwick," she spoke, her stance unwavering, her calm voice intermingled with the monstrous growl of the armor, a duet that promised a violent duel to come. "Etch into your heart my name, as I will mine yours. What is your name?" Without waiting for a response, she crossed her arms together, gathering darkness into them, then swiped them downwards, sending an X-shaped shockwave towards her foe, the force within it marring the floor of the guild, cutting a scar into the ground.

Of course, Freida was far too distracted mocking him as well as not really expecting him to do anything to actually dodge the blow. It connected with full force, earning a surprised cry from her as it sent her crashing into a table behind her. She groaned softly, noticing the others attempting to struggle free from her control due to losing focus from the blow. Dammit! "Saria take care of the brat!" Freida growled, starting to sing again to try and maintain the spell.
Nevms smile was back. Now in a full toothy grin as the satisfying sensation of his fist connecting with his target filled him with confidence, furthered by watching the ‘brainwasher’ fall back into the table behind her. His arm came snapping back into its original position, and fist-pumping frantically “YATAAA!!! It woooorked!” For the brief moment, Nevms had been chanting triumphantly to himself. He’d noticed that some of the ‘droned’ guild mages were visibly struggling against ‘something’. Are they trying to break free? Nevms made a mental note but didn’t allow his focus to deter from the task at hand. Gotta’ act now, Nevms nodded confirmation to his thoughts, and he began the starting steps of what would turn into a full charge forward at the duo.
Saria nodded, "Of course." She said. Saria moved near Freida, "Take this!" She shouted sending a sudden arc of lighting at Nevms. Though, she was unaware his magic literally gave him rubber properties, thinking that the fist was just some odd stretching making.
Nevms wouldn’t get very far in his ‘charge’ before he suddenly stopping at the sight of bright yellow light, forks of lightning heading right for him. Right before impact, his conscious swirled with flashing images of his past, many different events both mundane & important in his life leading all the way up to the present moment...

Nevms felt a wave of something, like a strong breeze of wind pass over him. Bringing him out of his life-flashing experience, and slowly opening his eyes. There was a brief moment before his eyes readjusted, where Nevms had expected to find himself in some in whatever afterlife would be awaiting him. Instead, he was pleasantly surprised to find himself still in ‘somewhat’ familiar surroundings. Trailing his eyes down to his hands, and the rest of his body as if to make sure everything was still in place. Weird...Did she miss? Nevms wondered, blinking cluelessly. Completely unaware of what had actually happened. Does it matter? Not right now! Nevms brushed away his thoughts, shouting “I’M ALIIIIVE!!!” forgetting about the charge entirely. He lifted his leg, and while doing so stretched both of his arms far behind him, until his hands were extended far outside the guild hall, yelling his single thought aloud “CHAAAANNCEEE!!” then stomping his left foot back to the ground and sending his stretched back arms launching toward the duo.

603443Standing aside watching the aftermath of the destruction he and everyone else caused, Dante'' mind was filled with concern for his town's safety and for was occurring inside. After Altair's finishing move, the beast collapsed lifeless, sending a whirlwind of snow and debris in his direction. He faced the snow and debris head on standing still and increased the heat coming from his body. The snow quickly melted and evaporated once it enter Dante's range allowing him to dodge whatever debris came his way. As the debris ended, Dante' took this time upon himself to regain some more magical energy, by absorbing the surrounding solar energy around him. Though just as things starts to calm, the body of the Praxis begins to move with dark aura flowing from it. Dante' couldn't help but to wonder if the creature is even truly dead. The body continues to move until its lifted into the air, by no other than the brutish Master Wilson himself. Is it sad to say that the safety or the sudden disappearance of Master Wilson, never crossed Dante's mind? No good.He watched as the brutish master hurl the creatures corpse far off in the distance. The force of his throw, somehow caused a sudden avalanche. Dante' wanted nothing to do with the avalanche so, he decided to leave and let his good friend Altair handle it. "Hey Altair, you think you can cut through that avalanche like you can with lightning? You can cool. Handle that, and I'll see you inside." He says teleporting from his current position to a source of solar energy either within the fortress or close to it.

As the blinded dark mage somehow manage to evade Dante's clone's attack, the clone forced Chuya back with and harsh push. His attacks came in fast, but they weren't fast enough. "I don't run off fire mate." Dante' says as he dodges the mages assault with ease. He attacks were precise, leaving no room fo mistake. Dante' stayed on the defensive until his time for an attack came. He figured even though the mage is indeed blind, he either used magic to see or his senses were highly enhanced. Using chain magic, Dante' creates a chain and uses it to counter's Jinto's attacks. His series of kicks of punches were used against him, as Dante' wrapped his hands up in a chain and attempts sling him into wall after wall. The chains wrapped around him were draining his magical energy, at a steady pace. "Chuya, long range attacks now." Mitchs98 Mitchs98 Gundam Watcher 27 Gundam Watcher 27 simj26 simj26

Chuya Hikari

"I'm not an Archer!" Chuya complained, but she sheathed one sword, before the other's blade was as dark as black itself. "But I have an idea!" She ran at the blind man, before getting in close and slashing towards his body. Chuya was hoping this guy was dumb enough to not recognize what sword technique she was using.

Void Slash - An attack that infuses the power of Erasure to defeat an enemy. If it connects, regardless of weather the opponent guarded or not, will collapse into him or herself, becoming nothing as if they never existed. This takes alot of time to recharge though, a week's worth at most.

AltairSabertooth? More like Blundertooth. Can't do anything without collateral damage. "Right. It will be but a moment." Altair faced the oncoming avalanche, gripping onto his scabbard, ready to draw, his eyes focused entirely on the oncoming snow. His right hand reached towards the hilt of Kitsunebimaru, as he prepared for the confrontation.

He then promptly turned on his heels and sprinted after Dante. Yeah, right, as if he was going to take on an entire avalanche. He wasn't built like a ton of bricks, with the corresponding brains of one, like Blundertooth's guild master. Or anyone associated with Blundertooth for that matter. As swift as his sword was, there was just no way it was going to cut through that. Sure, he had his pride, but he also knew exactly when to fold his cards. What kind of moron would face down Mother Nature's own wrath? He was egotistical, not suicidal. Needless to say, his choice was to run as fast as his legs could carry him. "Damn you! Damn you, Dante Sol!" he cried as he raced away from the oncoming white void, his voice lost to the roar of the oncoming destruction. And bollocks to that darned Guildmaster, and to Blundertooth! Another one for the 'Have Words With' list, if it weren't for the fact that he looked like the kind that understood 'words' as 'please ignore, thanks'.

Chuya's attack would not hit, as at that moment, a shadow shot out from the darkness. Sword unsheathed, Altair leapt in the way of Chuya's attack. Drawing his blade across hers, he cut through the magic flowing through hers, channeling it through his own. With a swipe of his sword into the empty air, the void magic dissipated into the nether. Just in time too, as the swordsman hit the ground like a sack of potatoes, his long hair spilling over his face. They clung onto his neck and cheeks from the sweat as he staggered to his feet. He straightened up, and tried to catch his breath, then coughed and doubled over.

"I'm…not…" Altair grasped at his knees and wheezed. He was fast, yes, but he wasn't much for prolonged running. He was a sprinter, more so than a marathon runner. He didn't have the stamina to keep that speed up for that long. God, he felt like his lungs were trying to punch their way out of his ribcage. He should try cutting out portals next time. "I can't...asshole." He uttered his late reply to Dante, and continued to try and catch his breath. " Whuh, " he held out a shaking finger towards Chuya, "what the hell…are you trying to do?" He coughed and hacked out his lungs, then straightened up. His gut still hurt. He hoped he didn't need to run again. Still breathing quite heavily, he held his sword by his side. "That was a killing technique. It would have been fatal if it had hit. What were you trying to do, Chuya Hikari? Murder? Have you forgotten…ughhh…" he trailed off and meandered over to one side, resting himself against the wall as bright colors exploded in his eyes. He waved dismissively at Dante and Chuya. "Whatever. Wh-whatever. You guys just do what you want. I'm just gonna…rest here a bit." He clutched his side, and exhaled sharply, and shot a glare, one as threatening as one from someone who was out of breath could towards Chuya. "I'm going to tell Master Viera about this, Hikari," he said, almost in the same tone and strength as a child who threatened to complain to their mother. He rested the tip of his sword on the ground and leaned against it for support. He really needed to invest in teleportation. All the kids nowadays were doing it. Maybe Vega could teach him some new tricks…

Serd, Bons, Grax, Jinto, Desmond, Despair, Ilia, Kai

Name: Desmond
Rank: ???
Appearance:
bIjAMjL.jpg

Magic: Desmond wields an experimental version of Draconic magic, similar to a Dragon Slayer that had lacrima implantes into their body. The difference being Desmond actually has many different lacrima to enhance his power, a core one being implanted in his chest with several others adorning his armor and blade. Desmond primarily controls the element of Fire, with a lesser control on wind and water. He can consume these elements for a power boost though they're negligble at best. What his ability is most suitable for as far as absorbing goes is directing the magic to his blade and sending it back up to four times as strong depending on the amount of magic expelled.

In combat he primarily uses his blade, his Draconic magic enhancing his otherwise latent strength, speed, endurance, stamina, and kinetic senses. Though not as fast as others with Slayer variants, he's still generally faster than most other mages without abilities to enhance ones' speed.
Name: Despair
Rank: S
Appearance:
hm66vXT.jpg

Magic: Despair uses Erosion magic, this magic doubles as both a potent poison as well as a potent chemical capable of chewing through metal; up to and including most metals given enough time. Despair has full control of this magic, how much he uses, the direction it goes, the area it covers. While the thicker the smoke the more intense and deadly, he can't otherwise strengthen the smoke directly. An example is to say, a thin layer of smoke while still dangerous will take longer to do any real damage, but a thick cloud you should avoid any extended period of time too.

The major downside is Despair is not immune to its effects, while the specialized gas mask he has on is as well as his clothes, if it is removed or his clothes are damaged it is just as deadly to him as it is to anyone else.

The early effects of this poison when inhaled is mild burning throughout the body followed by hallucinations, the burning gradually growing more intense, severe pain throughout the body, coughing up blood as ones' insides are slowly dissolved, blurred vision, bleeding from the eyes, ears, and nose, fainting, and finally unbearable agony leading to death. Though to actually die one needs to inhale quite a bit of the poison, as its more effective against non organic materials than a humans' body; especially when mixed with the CO2 in ones' body.

  • Bons merely chuckled. But of course Grax wouldn't be slain by such a simple and singular attack! Granted, it was very strong and it had stunned the beast. Though it was something of an undead creature, normal mortal wounds wouldn't exactly be immediately fatal to it. Kill it with enough damage? Most certainly. Stab it once and expect it to die? Not really, unless that stab cut its head off. The scene between Aedon and Messei was rather sickeningly touching to the man, and to Grax well...they just didn't care either way.

The sword flung towards Serd would fail to meet its target, actually nearly killing Grax as Bons had seen the toss. The besst shrieked shortly before Rayleigh did as the blade plunged into its neck, the shriek growing louder from the deafening scream. This set off a reaction Rayleigh likely wasn't expecting, surprising even Bons. The circle underneath the group pulsed darkly before shining brightly as Serd cried out from the sonic sound assaulting his ears, the light steadily enveloping them and himself. The cause of this? Him losing focus on the spell of course, while at the same time wildly pumping more magic into it.

In a blinding flash proving Aedon didn't sacrificd himself and shove either girl out of the sigil, Messei, Rayleigh, and Serd all disappeared leaving no traces behind other than the sigil burned into the ground. The destination? No where other than Serds' pocket dimension of course. Bons waited for the light to dim along with Grax, who struggled to free the blade from his throat to see who his opponent would be.

Chuya Hikari
The Elder The Elder Mitchs98 Mitchs98 simj26 simj26

Chuya glared at Altair. "Idiot! You know what you just did?!" Of course, there was no time for the Swordsman to answer, for he was out of breath.

Chuya was about to see what the situation with the blind guy was, only to see him break out of the chains, before charging... Straight at her. Chuya hesitated about attempting to use her sword skills, when she realized the blind guy was too close for her to react.

She suddenly felt herself getting punched repetedly all over her body, feeling some bones snap, before being sent flying. As soon as she hit the ground, she couldn't get up. It was very painful to move.

Shade and Sigma, Sabertooth Hall

Shade was beyond surprised when Ned jumped in to block Miles from attacking her. Not that she was complaining given her chances of winning this battle was next to nil....but, still. What the fuck? She simply sighed. "I don't need your help..." She muttered even though she quite clearly did. This was a good opportunity however. She reacted quickly, tossing another set of three darts at Miles just before Ned was kicked into her and the aura washed over them. She cried out in surprise at how fast everything happened, of course landing under Ned with a groan. Annnd of course his face was square between her breasts.

A deep red blush formed across her porcelain skin before she screamed and slugged Ned in the face after a few moments, "Pervert!" She shouted as she shoved him off of her quickly. Sure he was helping her, and it was an accident...but still. She stood up shakily and glared, "You can try." She told Tyson, standing her ground starting to fling singular darts quite quickly at the man. He was quite large so she suspected he'd need to be hit quite a few times for it to do anything much.

Sigma couldn't help but to smirk a bit as the blow connected; though despite his confidence he hadn't entirely expected it to connect. Much less to the exten that it had actually damaged Akagi, or more aptly her helmet. Though the fact he had damaged her helmet that much was even more surprising. Perhaps the Executioner wasn't as strong as her reputation suggested? Or perhaps her armor was weak to blunt force? He wasn't sure but things certainly got interesting. "Impressive." He commented.

Even if she was clearly wounded from the blow she rose to her feet and easily resumed her stance. It was quite clear the armor was weaker than she was. He studied the dark and intimidating aura, once more not sure what to expect. Whatever it was certainly had to be powerful however. He assumed a defensive stance as Akagi formally introduced herself, "Sigma Braun." He responded simply, ready to defend from the blast or evade if need be. The blast was powerful and fast. He could feel it. He rolled out of the way, even with his defenses up he still earned a deep cut to his left shin. His magic was weaker when he had to coat his whole body while dodging rather than blocking certain areas while actually focusing.

He was certain without his extra defenses he wouldn't be standing so easily right now. The limb wouldn't of been severed but the bone certainly would of shattered. He grunted, practically ignoring the pain, shooting forwards towards Akagi. And once in range aimed a punch towards the other cracking side of her helmet, strengthening the blow seconds before it connected should she not dodge it.

The goal was simple. Whittle down her armor. Remove her defense and he would have the advantage, even more so if Shade had a ddecently open target to hit with her darts; provided she was even still conscious by the time that was possible.

The events that transpired so quickly were something Rayleigh didn't expect to happen. Her sword actually landed in the beast's neck which seemed to mess with the boy who was focusing on his spell.
They had all flashed to another location. It seemed to be a pocket dimension of sorts. That had to be some pretty advanced magic which would explain why the boy needed so much time to cast the spell. However this couldn't possibly be the result he had been hoping for as only Messei, Rayleigh, and the boy landed in this place.
Now would be a good time to strike however she wasn't sure how they'd get out if they defeated the enemy while they were still inside the place.
Perhaps they could just beat him and tie him up till he got them out of there.

"Well this is just great..." Rayleigh said to Messei.
They could probably win although to be fair Messei wasn't the best at fighting. But at the very least she didn't think the boy was much of a threat either.
Rayleigh could probably win this fight... Perhaps there was something to be seen on the other side where Aedon was still at.
She glanced around the place trying to analyze every detail...

    .
He'd prepared himself to keep going on with this tangent of his, it's as if announcing his own trivial moral compass to everyone had, at the time, become the highest importance to him even if nobody were to give a 'rat's ass' about him or his frivolous virtue signaling. Ned would've gone about disclosing these ethical reasonings of his and profound importance of why banding up against a woman wasn't exactly 'mannerly', but instead of contributing his lecture to the group, his own initial words had been unexpectedly ceased by a proficient kick that'd been issued straight into his unprotected stomach. Disregarding that one rough-looking Sabretooth affiliate he acknowledged earlier had now turned out to be a very bad decision, definitely a lousy mistake on Ned's part. If paying attention Tyson's stiff kick would've been thwarted or at least evaded with a hasty sidestep, nonetheless it was too late as this delivered blow was now repelling oxygen out from the loud mouth's lungs along with the 'touch' of saliva that escaped his throat.

However, the transient flight of him being effectively launched like a missile was far from a delightful experience! In-fact, if Ned were to have given a truthful rating to the 'Tyson Airline Express', it probably would've been a two-star review! That brute didn't even offer him complimentary snacks or drinks throughout his airborne journey, not even so much as those bland packaged saltine crackers that are provided on almost every other airline! Although, his brief trip wasn't all that bad as his abrupt landing was relatively soft and a bit comfortable for that matter considering he'd landed face-first between Shade's weighty breasts. "Mrfmm!" His muffled voice mixed in with Shade's voice screaming in the background had made the serious tension in the atmosphere practically turn to silly putty from the absurdity of the situation, even Sinny had to shy his fluffy head away from the embarrassing scene. "Gah!" Popping his head out from the woman's fleshy bosom, Ned's suffocating breathes were replaced with frantic gasps of air until he was finally able to pull himself together and snugly put the side of his head on her chest, a satisfied smirk edging up his milky cheeks as he began to speak.

"O-okay, I've reconsidered my review. Best flight ever!"
Just as he was about to get properly acquainted with the woman's lovely brisket, the Swordsman was aggressively whacked in the face with her knuckles in addition to being given a quick shove that planted him onto the guild hall's floor. Unfortunately for everyone dealing with him, Ned's graceless tumble wasn't enough to knock or jumble some sense into the depraved man's noggin and stop him from interfering with other people's business. "Desperate?!" He exclaimed in a hurried response, clearly taking offense to the insulting remark that Tyson had previously made about him. "Psh! You clearly know nothing about me. Sure, I may be doing this to get laid but that doesn't mean my priorities are messed up!" Initially, people would've thought he'd deny an accusation like that but being the dimwitted honest person Ned was, he couldn't help but reveal a part of his intentions. Despite Shade obviously working for the wrong side, Sinny failed to prevent themselves from feeling a hint of remorse for her. That cultist woman must've had such high expectations before commencing her pre-planned assault on the Sabretooth Guild, but rather than being introduced to a very somber and epic battle, Shade was pitted with his pervy owner who couldn't for the life of him, seem to take a hint.
Nevertheless, Ned's random interference had actually saved her from serious danger even if she was capable! S rank or not, taking on multiple experienced mages would've been a difficult challenge to overcome. "Deny it all you want, but right now? You're gonna need all the help you can get." Ned had steadied himself back up onto his feet during his comment to Shade, adjusting himself conveniently a few feet away from the woman as to rejoin her by her side, except avoiding getting too close so he wouldn't get a firm kick to the testies. Giving a trailing gaze at his weapon's sheath, Ned promptly recognized that it was still engulfed in the twinkling 'flames' created by his opponent's energy. Miles power was almost fascinating to see from his perspective, its luminous glow was still bright as ever even after it had fumbled across the ground. "Strange magic you got there pal, i've been 'round a few fire mages before but none of their much had such a strange glow to it. Guessin' you're something special, huh?" Idly swaying his weapon around, Ned also found it pretty interesting that it was able to 'stick' to his sheathe pretty well and not simmer down, it sorta gave the impression of fire mixed with an adhesive.

Captivating as it was to see such a neat type of magic, it had little effect in dissuading Ned from taking on the likes of him and not to mention protecting Shade. "Special or not." He blankly huffed, Ned then silently paused as he pointed his sheathe across from him before suddenly swiping it in a slashing motion towards the empty space in the room. 'CccRaack'! An unfathomable burst of sound erupted from the sweep of his concealed sword as the pocket of air had collapsed onto it, successfully extinguishing the energy attached to it, moreover, resulting in a resounding boom that had cracked the inner windows of the Sabretooth Guild Hall. From what it looked like during that swing of his, it appeared as if he'd swiped so incredibly fast that the weapon held in his hand had become a barely visible blur along with the arm that had been holding it.

"You're still going to get the shit smacked out of you."
He added to his former words, a heated passion underlining his voice
as he furrowed his brow and delivered a dire glare to Miles.

    - Fight Sequence -

The showdown between Miles and Ned was about to begin, be that as it may, there was still a problematic issue that needed to be resolved. Byakko, that oddly majestic tiger that'd been standing near Sabretooth's 'Crimson Blight'. Tyson's involvement had become a minor issue once Shade had started to deal with him, he was still a threat but one that was distracted by the likes of the woman Ned had 'partnered' up with, all that left now was Byakko. "You know, I don't really feel all that comfortable hurting animals! Call it a weakness of mine or whatever, kinda like the same thing with women." Motioning at Byakko, Ned gave the impression that he was about to just simply 'give up' because he didn't want to put himself face to face against the creature! Unbeknownst to the Sabre-goons, he had a furry trick up his sleeve. If he couldn't directly fight against the murderous feline, he'd just have to call in someone that could, one that would put both of them on a leveled playing field. "Don't fret, i've got just the playmate for you fluffy." Pushing his pointer finger and middle finger between his lips, Ned blew as hard as he could, creating a high-pitched whistle that got the attention of Sinny whose ears instantly perked up at the sound.

( Sinny - The Coffee Loving Tanuki. )
    ( Magical Ability: Smoke Cy-clones. )

    "Sksksk."
Dull animal-like 'snickers' followed the attention-grabbing signal and in moments a small figure had hopped up onto Ned's shoulder, carrying two coffee cups in its teensy paws, all of them filled to the brim. "Do what you do best Sinny." Nodding to his pet Tanuki, Sinny replied with a mimicking gesture before tilting back his head and downing the contents of the murky drink without so much as a single hesitation. Without warning, Sinny had leaped off from his master's shoulder and scampered their way in the immediate direction of Byakko who was most likely underestimating the laughable stature of the raccoon-dog he was about to face! But it soon was plainly obvious that this was no ordinary Tanuki once its physical form had swirled itself into a decent-sized billow of smoke, one that imitated a tornado as it spun across the ground, eventually spitting out several more that were quickly zipping throughout the Guild Hall and inadvertently throwing random objects through the air. "Sksksksk!" Many more had been created from the initial cyclone, following that was a loud array of Tanuki calls that had flooded the surrounding area.

Soon enough these little twisters had started to diminish one by one, hurling ravenous-looking Sinny clones directly at Byakko with their jaws agape, teeth primed, and claws readied. The Tanuki's plan was to wear down Byakko, hoping that it'd get fatigued enough so he could defeat the mighty creatures! There was a varying difference of strength between them, if Byakko were to get ahold of the real Sinny it would be game-over, however, with all these scampering doppelgangers of himself, it was unlikely that would happen. Sinny clones from all side were now trying to get swipes at Byakko, some of them even trying to climb the fearsome kitty-cat! Ned, on the other hand, was now beginning to deal with the likes of Miles. "Let's see what yer' made out of fire-crotch!" Rushing up to this new adversary of his made him look utterly reckless, nevertheless, he wasn't afraid of getting burnt! Being charred to a crisp was of very little concern to the persistent man, his main goal was to just keep landing blunt blows on Miles until he had enough sense to give up.

Throwing most of his weight forward, he started to engage the man by launching his first series of attacks! Wielding his sheathed blade one-handed, Ned attempted to thump Miles with a light flurry of blunt blows directed at his body. Overwhelming Miles was his first instinct, he wanted him to panic and act irrationally so he could land a heavier blow and rattle him up a bit. No matter how fast his swordsmanship was, he realized it would still be extraordinarily difficult fighting against a skilled mage without resorting to using his blade, still, his intention was not to kill Miles but to roughen him up to the point of him surrendering.

Aulea bit back a yawn before rubbing her tired eyes, adjusting her grip on her book. It wasn't as if she was doing anything strenuous. On the contrary, what she was doing was rather boring. With no other use of her skills, it seemed, the girl was enlisted to guard duty. Something that could have been fun if the prisoners were awake but they couldn't handle a few bashes to the head it seemed.

Honestly it wouldn't have been that bad if she didn't hear the sounds of fighting in the distance that kept her distracted. How she longed to bring out her axe and drive it deep into flesh. The thought made her shiver in delight. The only thing holding her back was the thought of her beloved Zeref. Aulea would provide anything that he could ever need or want. And right now they needed these prisoners. Not that she had any idea why. It was something that she was planning on finding out for sure. But in the meantime she would have to sit here in her boredom and hope the fight would come to her.

She looked over the prisoners again and saw one of them move in their sleep. A girl about her own age with brown hair done in a bow. If not for her outfit, she wouldn't have stood out much. Aulea tilted her head at the movement but left her be for now. If she woke up, maybe Aulea would have something else for entertainment. This thought provided more hope for Aulea's bleak looking situation. For the time being, she tried to set her mind to reread the same line over and over again to see if she could make sense of it.

Tyson simply stated at the pathetic scene of Ned laying face first on Shades breast.
He raised his fist, prepared to put the pair of perverts in their place."Such a shameful display in front of the enemy. Don't you two have any control." He asked although he didn't really seem all that bothered by the display of perversion. He seemed more like he was teasing the two. Whether he was or not was never made clear though as Shade took to her feet, after giving Ned a well placed shot to the face, and sent several of her special darts at the Red-headed giant.

Suddenly a spark of electricity filled the air, and in Tyson's point of view everything seemed to stop for a moment."Didn't you ever learn? If you recklessly throw darts like that, " Suddenly Tyson's large form vanished in a flash of lightning. He moved as a fast enough pace to grab the darts sent at him. Tossing them back with a bit of his lightning adding enough speed, and power that they burned several holes in the wall, all making a silhouette around Shade. Then in another moment Tyson was over her. He attempted to grab her by the arms, and push her against the wall, with a single hand. In the other he held one of her darts, aiming it right over her eye."-Someone could lose an eye. Now you know what I'm going to do to you don't you?" He asked his tone suddenly much more sinister as his own face moved slowly closer to hers. His cold empty eyes starting into hers, seemingly sucking the hope from her with their dark void like qualities. To some this might have even been misinterpreted as Tysons own flirtatious advances. However when his face was mere centimeters away, so close they could kiss. Tyson cocked his head back and smashed it into Shades in a very brutal, and unexpected headbutt.

Saria and Freida, Magnolia

Saria was very much pissed off at the moment. This damn brat! With her spell weakening she currently couldn't use anyone to actually attack, she had to focus her magic on the spell not breaking. The last thing she needed was for even one of these goons to beeak free and attack her too! Though it seemed Nevms was going to just stand there and take Freida's blast head on, seemingly too scared to even flinch. Oh well, poor boy, she had given him a chance to leave. His fault if he should die now she supposed.

What neither expected was for the magic to sort of just...do nothing. At all. "What the fuck?" Freida questioned, staring in complete surprise. Either this idiot was incredibly strong and they were pretty much screwed, or he was stupidly lucky. Both were admittedly pretty shocked at this development. Saria had luckily regained enough control to get one of the mages under her control to stand in front of her and take the blow, the poor woman who had crumpling to the floor.

Freida tried to move out of the way though was knocked down, grunting at the impact of the blow. She stood back up a bit shakily and glared at Nevms. "Damn it! Just die already!" She shouted, sending a faster and much more powerful arc of lightning at him. She wasn't going to go easy anymore. She still hadn't fully realized what the problem was.

Akagi

For a long time, Akagi was always second best. She wasn't awesomely strong, or tough, or even fast. She couldn't compare herself to guys like Horus, or Ned, nevermind Wilson. That was why she trained her own body, and learned to learn, to make up for all the things she lacked- magic, strength, looks, everything. She had resolved herself that, even if she was never better than anyone, she could at least stand on the same level as her guildmaster, with or without her magic. That was why she became The Executioner. Every scar she bore, every drop of blood she lost, was a learning experience. One day… perhaps one day, she can look Wilson in the eyes, and tell him that she had surpassed him.

Until then, there was no way anyone else was going to stop her. Certainly not Sigma Braun. There was more to a brawl than just throwing fists and hoping to overpower the opponent- something she learned over her years as Sabertooth's attack dog. A fighter had to understand their opponents, know their strengths, realise their weaknesses, and prioritise on wearing them down slowly. For Akagi, she already understood what Sigma was. A close-ranged specialist whose magic strengthened his body. He had no ranged capabilities that she had seen yet, and relied heavily on his magically enhanced defenses and depended on such defenses to augment his offense. His punches were heavy, heavy enough to break through her own armor.

So she just didn't need to get hit. She had to disable his arms- they were his main source of attack. Taking one out was enough to neutralise him. That wouldn't be a problem. After all, nothing was impossible for someone who would go to any lengths to protect her guild.

She stepped back, and tore out the shards in her face without even a twitch of hesitation. Imbuing them with Darkness Magic, she flung them forwards. They zipped forwards at tremendous speed, a trio of sharp projectiles homing in on his eyes. At the same time, she moved in on Sigma. Using her own momentum, she shot out one arm, deflecting and repositioning his punch, then ducked and weaved under his arm. Taking hold of his whole arm, she lifted it upwards, and brought his elbow down on her shoulder. Without bothering to check if she had broken his arm, she swept her foot behind her, aiming to kick his legs out from under him, and threw her whole upper torso forwards. Her whole physique flared alive with her magic, boosting her strength manifold as she lifted the muscular man over her back, and slammed him onto the floor beneath her.

She shuffled back from Sigma, but not far enough to disengage herself from him, and released a bestial howl towards the roof, her fingers arched like claws of a monster. Her eyes swivelled down towards the muscle-bound man. "Sigma Braun, go home," the Knight growled. Her eyes were ones of murder and bloodlust, but the tone of her words could not be further from those. "There must be someone you love. Go home to them."

Praxis had been defeated, a combined effort of the mages assembled. Master Wilson was quick to throttle the beast into the atmosphere and cause a ruckus, in the form of an avalanche that hurled towards the attacking force of Light Mages and crashed down the surface of the mountain like a hurricane. She watched as Dante stood still, flaming hot magical energy burning around his form as the snow melted before him, however he ultimately abandoned Altair and left him to fend for himself, as the swordsman readied himself to face the avalanche head on before ultimately fleeing and heading inside this Cerelia was the only one left, or so she thought. As the avalanche drew closer Cerelia’s facial expression still remained as unimpressed as it had done during the fight with Praxis, a bright yellow magical energy enveloped her body in an instant as she then shot towards the entrance of the base not before freeing the trapped mages and heading inside. Upon entering the base, Cerelia raised her palm upwards before a blast of cosmic pierced the ceiling, thus blocking the entrance with debris and rock. She then turned to face Kai and Ilya, a calm smile on her face as she spoke. “You two should find your guildmates, I need to find mine. I trust you will be fine?” Closing her eyes momentarily, the woman let out a calming sigh as she turned on her heel and began travelling through the base. As she was walking, Cerelia sensed a sinister magic at play. Her body envelopes herself in the same bright yellow energy as before and Cerelia seemingly shot away, quickly out of the eyesight of the two mages as she headed towards the location where the magic was. Upon arriving she could see Aedon, with Messei and Rayleigh nowhere to be seen as a dark sigil had burnt into the very ground, and it seared with a dark magical energy. Making her way next to Aedon in an instant, the magical aura surrounding her dissipated as the woman twirled her large spear in an elegant yet threatening fashion before slashing at her side, her free hand resting on her hip as she shot daggers towards the two dark mages. “That magical sigil is akin to some kind of spatial magic, I take it the enemy has captured Messei and Rayleigh?” She asked, a stern yet slightly concerned tone in her voice as she looked over towards the two dark mages in front of them. Battle ready, Cerelia stood and waited for the first move as a bright and heavy magical aura boomed from Cerelia’s being, the ground cracking beneath her feet as she stared down the dark mages.

    God help them.

As the battle picked up for the forest group, Patty stood in the midst of it all, a stoic and unmoving force. Then, at some point, she seemed to simply vanish. In this form, Patty's strength was mischief. Which meant sneaking, observing, calm and collected actions, exploiting weaknesses, and so on. She also didn't think it was the appropriate time for her to step in and start taking on some real action. Besides, if anyone did end up getting hurt, she could do some healing in her current form. Few may have been able to catch a glimpse of her as she circled around the area taking in what information she could. She moved from tree to tree, almost like a whisp, appearing for a few seconds as nothing more than a blur.

"Hm..... Hm...... Hm..... Hm hm...... Hm." Megan was humming some music as she was walking up the mountain trail. After hearing about the four guilds attempting to catch Dark mages, without her, the head of Inferno Tempest Guild (No one believes it exists, because it doesn't.), She was making her way there to help. After all, wasn't she the strongest X rank mage there was? *Cough*

As soon as the destination came into view, she nothing. Just snow. Lots and lots of snow.

Megan shouted and thrashed around. They lied to her! The Ultimate mage! This was her time to shine, and they tricked her! She was so angry she raised her staff as a blue circle appeared a fair distance away, as she chanted.

"Behold! The Ultimate spell passed through the youngest half fiend to ever live! The spell passed on to me by the very God's themselves! A spell that can shake the Earth to it's very core! The greatest, the mightiest, the strongest Ultimate spell! EXPLOSION!!!!"

She points the wand at the circle, as a beam of energy shot up enveloping it, burning and tearing nothing as an explosion soon replaced the beam.

Megan then sighed as she collapsed, snoring.

Aedon Strom 2.jpg
Aedon was relieved at first when he noticed how well his guildmates and the others of the mountain team were handling the conflict. It wasn't until Sparrow disappeared along with Messei that his adrenaline was kicked back up again. He knew that Sparrow could take care of himself, but for some reason, he worried about Messei. After all, she did still have his Wakizashi. When Cerelia approached and asked his opinion on what had transpired, he simply nodded and said, "That's likely."

Then Aedon's gaze turned to the remaining opponents, a fierce death glare piercing out from under the brim of his fedora. He slowly lifted his hand and announced as if commanding nature itself, "Energy Make: RAILGUN!!!!" At that moment, Aedon snapped his fingers and kicked up a rock. His hand taking the perfect posture to form an electromagnetic field, the rock was pounded forward and a bolt of energy exploded from his hand at blistering speed. A moment after it had flashed, a shockwave punched through the area like the effect of a point-blank thunderbolt.

Christina Trost

Of course after the baddie finally shows himself, Kathy already took charge. As an S class, Christina wasnt so surprised. It was her job to be the protector of those who couldnt protect themselves, or to be the protector of those who werent capable of fighting someone who's rank and magic is unknown. Not long after Katherine's words, she used a shield to protect not only them from the knives, but to also protect them from a blast she created, causing more dust and dirt to thicken the air and give the team some cover. While Alex and Ikora went back to the LS guild hall, Satoshi flew into the air and claiming he'll scout from the air to see if he could find anything. All the while Serena claimed she'd stay along with Kathy and a few others while some retreated(if any did). The team was going to be fine with not only 2 guild masters, but S classes too. Taking this moment she created a bouncy platform in front of her and she jumped onto it, launching herself up into the air by Satoshi and creating another platform to land on. All the while her bouncy platform, had disappeared "I'll go with Satoshi out to scout. Going in a pair is better than alone so if anything happens, we can protect one another." Christina informed the team staying along to fight the current enemy. Her attention turned to Satoshi and she gave him a brief nod and allowed him to take the lead, giving her a chance to follow with floating platforms that disappeared once she had stepped off. Conserving her magic energy as much as she could.

Once they found the camp, this mission would be easier to plan around but they had to make sure not to be caught. There was no doubt that some random dark mages would spot them in mid air. Especially someone who has bright ass wings and someone looking like they're running in mid air. Though who knows, maybe they wouldnt be so smart to look above them and see the pair taking a good look at the base. "Hopefully the team can wipe out the threat so we could continue our assault on the base. That way we could slow down the process of whatever these mages are doing for Zeref..." she said towards Satoshi. "If we get caught, I'm sure no one would mind us trying to create some chaos for them."

Saria had luckily regained enough control to get one of the mages under her control to stand in front of her and take the blow, the poor woman who had crumpling to the floor.
“AAH! I’M SO SORRY!” Nevms yelped at the terrible sight that made him wince for a moment, of the poor lady crumpling to the floor. But luckily, he managed to hit other target, who was knocked down but Nevms had enough sense to know it wouldn’t be for long. He had to close the distance. And at the same time, had to make sure he avoided another ‘close call’ like the last. I’ll run in zig-zags! She’ll never hit me that way! Was what he thought as he began running in a wild zig-zagging pattern at Freida, who was already standing back up, even if a bit shakily.
"Damn it! Just die already!" She shouted, sending a faster and much more powerful arc of lightning at him.
“AAHH I DON’T WAANNAAA DIIEE!!!” Nevms screeched, too distracted by flailing his arms about like a wild pigeon and running in zig-zags he hardly noticed (until it was too late) that his foot had found itself wedged into the unhinged door he had punched down earlier. Tripping, and falling flat-faced into the steel door as the much faster, and more powerful arc of lightning struck him point-blank. Now I really did it, yup, dead for sure! But strangely, he didn’t have the wacked up life-flashing experience of before and when he should have felt infernal burning and everything else that comes with being struck by lightning, he only felt what was like a strong breeze wash over him.

Ow...Ow?? OOOWW!?! I AM ALIVE!?!

“I’MM AALLIIIIIVVE!!” Nevms declared, shooting back up to his feet, pinching the corners of his mouth and stretching out his smile to ludicrous lengths. Trying to distract from the actual shock he'd felt. Nevms still wasn’t ‘exactly’ sure what happened, but whatever it was, he was pretty sure it totally meant he was invincible. A new spell perhaps? Who could be sure!? And who cares!? Nevms didn’t anyway, and now he was beginning to feel he could take on the world and succeed. Which was not a normal feeling he had after falling flat on his face for the gazillionth time, let alone falling flat on his face and getting struck by lightning? And now there was a voice roaring in the back of Nevms mind, shouting at him IT’S TIME TO GO INTO FULL ATTACK MODE!

“Blleeeehhh!” Nevms stuck out his tongue in a mock-gesture HAHA, FOOLISH WENCHES! DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU EVER STOOD A CHANCE AGAINST THE ALMIGHTY AND AWESOME...NEVMS SPINDLEWHEEL!?!” he announced with a deepened voice and puffing out his chest as a show of pride. A perfect imitation of his prior mentor, Eon. Who frequently talked in this fashion, especially when facing ‘the forces of evil!’. Abruptly, Nevms reached down for the unhinged door beneath his feet, lifting one side, and gripping as tightly as he could while he started to spin and twirl around on the spot. Swinging the unhinged door with stretched arms in a 360-rotation and throwing (with a rather terrible accuracy) the door in Freida’s direction. Right after which he started to charge at Freida, now without the concern of getting struck by lightning, feeling this could be his chance to take one ‘bad guy’ out of the equation. He clamped his hands together, raising them above his head, and stretching them back as he charged “RAAAHHH!!! PREPARE FOR!!~” as he got close enough to Freida, he brought his clamped fists that were suspended high into the air snapping down with an incredible force that was aimed atop of Freida’s skull. But he was also leaving himself wide-open to be attacked from any of the guild mages under Saria’s brainwashing spell.

It all happened so fast. Before she could even defend herself her whole world went black. By the time she regained consciousness she found herself in some bleak cell. She did her best to fight back her panic as she looked around. Her gaze quickly fell on the woman on guard duty and thinking fast she closed her eyes and pretended to still be knocked out. It took everything she had to keep her breathing under control, it felt like her heart was pounding so fast it'd leap right out of her chest. She had so many questions racing through her mind. But most importantly she had to think of a way to escape. She could tell that her captors took her various elixirs as well as her bag. Fortunately she was a veritable walking alchemy shop and had several potions hidden about her person. Though how useful they'd be was up for debate.

It was then that she noticed the muffled sounds. It sounded like an explosion, or numerous explosions. It sounded like fighting. Was this place being attacked? If that was the case that meant it was a good time to escape. She opened one eye just a sliver, watching the woman as she ever-so-slowly moved a hand to grip one of the hidden vials in her boot. She didn't even get close before stopping herself as she second guessed her plan, or lack there of. Deciding to try a different course of action she slowly sat up, pretending as if she just woke up. "W-wha? Where am I? What's going on?" With the cliche questions out of the way she turned her focus on the guard. "Who are you and why am I sitting in a cell?" She did her best to put up a brave front, her voice calm as she fought to keep the nervousness bottled up.

Arriving at the scene of the fight, the real Dante' witnessed his clone and Chuya holding their own nicely. Dante's clone had the cultist in his chains and Chuya was on the verge of attacking. Though the energy Chuya was preparing was highly unsettling. "CHUYA, NO!!" Both Dante' and his clone yelled out in unison as Chuya unleashing a killing technique. Dante' was second away from stopping it before Altair interfered. He successfully sliced through Chuya's spell saving the Cultist's life. "Niiice Altair!" Dante' yells cheering on his comrade. Processing the events that just occur, Dante' couldn't help but think of Altair as someone truly special. Altair "took down" an avalanche so fast he was able to catch up with Dante' and arrive in time to stop Chuya's attack. Yes truly someone special, so he thought until Altair doubled over completely out of breath. "Is he seriously out of breath?" Dante' thought to himself with a raised eyebrow. Out of breath, he continued to speak replying to Dante' previous question about the avalanche, which he wasn't able to stop. Who knew? Oh wait Dante' knew. He chuckled at Altair's response and shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well my bad." He said. He then looks over at Chuya and pops her in the back of her head, as Altair struggled to discipline her being out of breath and all. He walks over to Altair and pat him on his head while saying, "You really need to lay off the sweets if you're already tired, but rest up. I've got this covered." He said as his clone vanished in a bright light.
Before Dante' realized it, he made a mistake that he would regret, a mistake that the enemy quickly took advantage of. As the clone vanished the Cultist broke free from his chains and rushed towards Chuya, quickly attacking her breaking her bones with each impact. As Chuya was sent flying and left incapacitated, rage filled Dante's body. Memories of his past rushed through his head fueling his rage. "I will not allow it to happen again!" Dante' yells as his aura sky rockets creating an immense bright golden light the filled the halls of the fortress. Dante's aura was heating up to the point, the walls around him started to steam. He glares at Jinto, before clearing the distance between them in an instant, and begins to attempt to unleash a barrage of attacks infused with solar energy. simj26 simj26 Mitchs98 Mitchs98 Gundam Watcher 27 Gundam Watcher 27

While still trying to read her book, Aulea noticed the girl moving out of the corner of her eye before she spoke. Some substandard questions that typical prisoners threw out. Or at least Aulea assumed. She wasn't on guard duty very often. Their forces were just stretched a little thin at the moment. She looked down at the girl from the stool she was sitting on.

Her mouth curved into a small smile as she took her in, setting the book back on her lap. The fear that she was trying to hide was so cute, it almost made her want to squeeze the girl. Squeeze and squeeze until her eyes popped out of her skull. "This is Zeref-sama's prison cell. I'm Aulea, the guard for the time being. I have no idea why you're here but if you'd like, go ahead and try and escape. I could use some entertainment. It's dreadfully boring here." Even though she said so, it sounded like the explosions were getting closer. Maybe it won't be boring for very longer. Aulea's smile grew as she listened to the sounds growing louder and louder.

Fehlen, Gremir, Lucia, Shyilia; Forest Compound

  • Shyilia has been grateful for Katherine's comforting words moments before she had gotten snatched up. She was glad people hadn't seemed to be blaming her for her lack of experience. Soon Shyilia's life was flashing before the poor Forest Shaman's eyes; all things considered up until the previous 20-odd years it had been pretty boring. Or, at-least routine. Not all boring. She snapped out of it when Toki grabbed onto her whining and desperately clinging to her hand. She was grateful...but at this rate they'd both be pulled away into the base! "Noo! Toki let go or they'll get you too! She whined, though despite this her own fear forced her to maintain her grip on the girls' hand.

She whined louder as she started slipping as well as Toki losing her grip on the tree branch. "Just let me go!" She insisted not wanting to endanger her own guild mate just so she herself would be alright. Though really it was delaying the inevitable! At-least until Melia intervened and cut the vine. Shyilia slowly opened her eyes afterwards...only to wrench them shut with a deep blush after noticing Melia's chest mere inches from her face. "T-Thank you so much miss." She spoke in a grateful tone. "Toki are you okay?" She asked knowing it had to of strained the girl quite a bit to keep such a strong hold. "I'm sorry your Guild Master is so useless.." She mumbled. First failing to predict an attack on the guild, putting Toki in danger in general, and now allowing herself to be so easily caught.

She just really wasn't cut out for missions like this! She sighed and picked herself up nonetheless, frowning as she noticed how dangerously close they were to the stony entrance of the compound. "W-We should get back to the others. It's not safe here." She spoke nervously. Sure she was a Guild Master and all but...they had no idea how many there were. And it they got surrounded or she herself just held down she herself would be screwed. Melia could probably take care of herself...Toki too, the girl was smart. Even still. Three against who knew how many did not a smart battle make.

"Now now, why would you want to do that?" A dark voice spoke as a man emerged, much of his body covered in a black cloth uniform aside from his eyes and fingers. Shyilia let out a small eep in response and turned to face him, "I-I won't let you hurt them!" She shouted, standing up as tall and proud as her small stature allowed while visibly shaking. She tossed down three seeds from her pouch which quickly took root in front of Fehlen, a small sprout with a red shining leaf soon jutting up from each of them. "You better not come any closer." She demanded, holding her staff in front of her defensively.

Fehlen didn't seem impressed by the threat. "Or what? Let me guess, these are vine traps?" He commented with a soft chuckle stepping just a bit closer. Just into the blast range of the closest one. "Foolish girl, that's not how you lay tra-" He spoke as he created a vine which slithered forward to trip the bomb trap, being interrupted of course by both the shrill beep the leaf emitted and the explosion knocking him back and onto his rear. Shyilia shielded herself from the dirt being flung at them as best she could. Sadly he wasn't close enough to the blast to do any actual damage. Though he was stunned enough either gal could launch an attack or they could all beat a hasty retreat. Little did they know Satoshi and Christina were out scouting and could more than likely see the battle beginning below them soon enough.
