Lucius was surprised when Praxis blocked his path, usually, he was pretty stealthy in his current form, though admittedly he was rather easy to pick out, a spout of black mist flying towards the entrance. After trying a few times to find a way past the creature, with little success, he back off and away from the creature before reforming an observing the state of everyone fighting. In all honesty, the dark mage had expected them to be doing worse, it seemed they'd been able to deal some rather decisive blows to the creature, which, as much as he hated to admit it, was rather impressive.

Lucius wasn't content with sitting on the sidelines and letting them to all the work though, this creature had annoyed him be getting in his way, NO ONE got in his way without retribution. The mage lifted his cane up so that the dark purple orb at its top was pointed towards Praxis, and with a cocky smirk on his face cast his spell "Dark Barrage." Six small magic circle then flew out, rather conveniently this number matched the number of eye Praxis had. Each circle then flew to a different position in front of the beast and began firing small dark magic projectiles at its eyes with the aim to blind the beast.

Normally Lucius wouldn't use such a weak spell on a foe as large as Praxis, however, given the circumstances, he would much rather conserve his energy for whatever else was inside, I thought he didn't relate to the guild mages. Surveying the battlefield again, Lucius quickly cleared his throat before yelling at the mages fighting Praxis "If I may give you all a suggestion! Given how damaged this thing looks, if a few of you aimed attacks at the same, ideally weak, spot, you may just be able to fell him. Alternatively, you could not and increase your chances of being killed. It makes no difference to me. I'm rather far away from him."

    After Cerelia had initiated the assault on the beast, she couldn’t help but notice a male voice call out and state Fairy Tail by name. She quickly turned to see who it came from, unworried about the fleshy monstrosity as it was being held down by her gravity spell. A male mage who appeared to be from Blue Pegasus had demanded they take Messei away, in order for her to cry someplace else; even going so far as to refer to her as a craven. Cerelia’s eyes narrowed with distaste at the swordsman's words, obviously not happy with his comment. In moments after, the man attacked the beast and cut it effortlessly, his footwork may have been refined yet judging from what she had seen and heard earlier, Cerelia could only assume that his attitude most definitely wasn’t at the same level of refinement as his skill. Upon the mage landing, another man attacked the beast; Dante. Now he was somebody she had heard of, S-Class Mage of Blue Pegasus and one of the very best the guild had to offer, he utilised God Slayer Magic and as Dante unleashed his Solar Gods Bellow, Cerelia looked on with a slight smirk on her face. After the tirade if attacks the beast began to scream in agony, it’s screams shrill as they cut through the dense mountain air and filled the battlefield in a mere second, it then launched its counter attack. Cerelia dodged its swipe gracefully and with ease, running underneath its gargantuan form and moving around with great speed, her spear scraping across the ground every so often as the woman’s body became enveloped in a bright yellow light, she had activated her comet spell. Cerelia zoomed around with near untraceable speed, darting around and underneath the beast before eventually moving up into the sky and above the creature; gravity holding her in place in the sky.

    The golden magical aura around her dissipated as she swiped her spear downwards in a crescent, the air became dense with magical power as the ground beneath Praxis glowed a very bright golden light, akin to a star. Cerelia closed her eyes for a brief moment, moving her spear slowly upwards as six golden magical projectiles seemingly shot down from the heavens, larger than your average human and crashed into Praxis’ form with explosive force. Afterwards, the spearwoman came back down to the ground and stood next to Altair, her gaze not leaving Praxis as she awaited to see what damage her attack would do. She glanced to her side, looking at Altair with narrowed eyes as she spoke, “We are all brothers and sisters on the battlefield, and if your inability to understand that is what makes you attack those trying to do their best then you are nothing but a smug boy who deems it fit to call himself a warrior.” Cerelia spoke with venom, yet she sounded refined and calm while speaking to Altair, she turned her gaze away from Altair before she walked away from the battle and made her way towards Master Wilson. As she walked away, heels crunching on the snow, Cerelia spoke to Dante and Altair. “I’ll leave this monstrosity to you boys, I’m certain this is simply a distraction and I need to go and help my guildmates.”

    Upon approaching Master Wilson, Cerelia bowed her head in respect before standing beside him. “Master Wilson, would you be so kind as to give us another opening into the base, it’ll be advantageous if we have people heading into the enemy headquarters through different areas.” She looked up at him, and smiled. Truth be told, Cerelia just wanted to get to the proper fighting and Wilson could most likely sense the intent on her aura.

Wilson was beginning to grow tired of standing around. The witch Viera had disappeared somewhere. Leaving Wilson to watch the battlefield. But he wasn't some referee whose job was to make sure everyone played fairly. This was battle, and Wilson was hungry for it. Everyone else seemed to have a foe, and the rest of the enemy was standing at the gate. But Wilson had no interest in wasting his time on weaklings. Maybe be could get away with taking down the beast without absolutely destroying everything. So many options, luckily Wilson was spared the decision when the mage known as Cerelia appeared before him.

He could sense the intent on her aura. She was craving a better battle. Something more suited to her abilities. She posed a question to him. One that caused him once again to break his usual stoney demeanor in favor of a smile. Although this one was much more bloodcurdling. Only the creases of his dimples, and the stretching of his scar could be seen with his scarf on. But it was clear her saw Cerelia's intent, and was completely game for it. He took a step forward his expression once again turning solemn. He began making his way towards the main gate where all the enemies were. His eyes glowing with a hungry glint, or was that something else? "Stand back." He gave short notice before he hunched over his muscles tensing. The let out a mighty roar as a aura erupted from his body cloaking his in the aura form of a ferocious beast. Hopefully Cerelia got the message and moved. Otherwise she herself would begin to feel her physical energy drain from her. Her body growing heavier, and weaker simply from being so close to him. Almost as if the beast was consuming their life force.

Wilson stepped forward, slowly approaching the main door where all the enemies await. The giant monster still in his path. He targeted his glare towards Praxis. Luckily he had a boost from his previous trip back home. Where he had to cut through a magical forest and got surrounded by magical monster. So he was strong, but it wouldn't hurt to be a wee bit stronger, and besides. The beast was in his way."Give me one moment to take care of the trash." Wilson told Cerlelia, taking a runners position, before using all the power in his legs to launch himself at the beast. Within a instant Wilson had gotten into position, he went beneath the creatures legs, and wrapped his arms its shin. At first it looked as if he was attempting to lift the beast. But he didn't move, he just clung to its shin like a big flee hugging it. Of course in actuality he was draining it's physical energy, and adding it to his own. Wilson turned back to Cerelia, still hugging onto the beast leg."This might take a bit. Just wait for be one second. Trust me it'll be worth it." With that he continued clinging to Praxis who was still currently under attack.

As the cultist's mages neglected to heed their warnings, Miles scoffed as she simply puts down his strength. He focused on his enemies' auras, trying to get a reading on their magic power. Their aura was filled with malice, that it made his hairs on his arms stand up. From what he could they were both an S class of some sorts, but their magics were nothing to make a big huff about. The females magic could easily be countered with his aura, and since he has nothing against hitting a female, she'll most likely become his target. The brute on the other hand, his magic works in his favor. Not only is he probably strong as hell, but with his defensive magic, it'll slightly be a one sided brawl.
Taking his focus off of the cultist, was a very family aura nearby, an aura causing him to grin. "So he finally shows back up." Miles said to himself. He looks back at Shade and decides to quickly get rid of their presence within their guild, but before he could make a complete step another intruder barged into the main hall. Miles glances over towards him, with a nonchalant look upon his face. This intruder had no trace of evil within his aura, though what started to piss Miles off was the fact he has panties belonging to Katherine on his head. As he stares at Ned, his aura flickers a blood red yet again. Saving the intruder from immediately getting punched in the face was the fact he knew Akagi. "Akagi...is this one of your side dudes or something. If so, you better tell em to take those panties off his head before I break his hands for grabbing shit that's not his." Miles said still looking at Ned. He wasn't worried too much about the cultist mages much simply because the darts were useless against his aura, Akagi could handle the brute, and that his brother was mere seconds away from forcing the guild doors open.
With booming noise, the guild doors are blown open, and the giant that is his brother steps through. "About time you returned. Where's Aurera??", he says finally ignoring the perverted intruder, and turning to face everyone else. The tension in the room somewhat dwindled as everyone as the pervert continued to laugh and talk in the background. The more he breathed, the more he got on Miles' nerves. Taking a deep sigh, Miles holds his hands out towards Ned, and fires a blast of crimson red energy. The blast hits the a part of the couch inches away from his body. "Shut. Up." Miles said bluntly still looking away from him. If Miles wanted, the blast definitely would've went straight toward Ned.
The tension finally gets back up again, when Akagi charged towards the brute. Miles was second away from charging towards Shade, but he felt something strong, happening with Lexi. "Tch, what is this girl doing.", he thought. Then moments later a white tiger appears in the main hall roaring towards Shade. "Be careful Lexi. I'm proud.", Miles said under his breath, and to Lexi it'll sound as if it was a whisper in her ear. "Tyson if you want help Akagi with the brute, Byakko and I will handle the dart thrower." Miles said walking towards Byakko, and placing his hand on his body. "So you must be the infamous Byakko that scare Lexi. Why don't we release a bit of pint up aggression, shall we?" Miles said as his aura also started to cover Byakko entirely. "Ready...GO!!", Miles said launching towards Shade with great speed and his fist cocked back. Saria and Freida, Magnolia

Freida smirked as her song started working on the lesser mages. Perfect. She much preferred this to some bloody battle. Why fight when one could just enthrall their enemies? Of course if she truly wished she could get them to suicide, though she didn't want that. No! Live mages would be best for test subjects. She chuckled softly to herself, "Good little sheep. Keep on listening." She cooed softly. She continued to sing from then on, only stopping when she heard something banging on the door. Hard from the sound those poor hinges made.

She watched the door skid pitifully across the door, raising an eyebrow as it bumped into her foot. The ribbons encircling the hall slowly disappeared now that she stopped singing. Her gaze soon met Nevms as he valiantly(sort of) ran in pointing at them declaring his vengeance. Her and Saria exchanged brief glances at his threats before laughing loudly. "Mmm. You'd better leave while you can boy." Freida spoke, walking towards him slowly, hips swaying as she approached. "In-case you didn't notice, all your little friends here are under my control now. You're outnumbered." She explained. Though there were few mages here, they did all stare at Nevms. "Now why don't you be good and run along?" She hummed.

Freida merely stared, ready to attack if need be. Though overall Nevms definitely didn't seem like a threat in the slightest.

Christina Trost

Satoshi was this young mans name. Cute. Charming even. On top of that, he had manners, which gave him a star in her book for being respectful. His name had also fit the features she saw through her blindfold, though it wasnt much to go off of due to said-blindfold. The smile that followed his words made his face lighten up a bit He's a smiley one. she thought. Now, in all honesty, she seen the Blue Pegasus guys as Womanizers, Ladies men even, because they acted charming and seemed to catch the eyes of many women. Chris never thought that they would have had manners like these two, Satoshi and Yamato... But that could only be just who they were raised by to gain such manners.

Christina had a shiver run up her spine uncomfortably as she heard the Guild Master make an odd moan. Turning around, she watched these vines trying to capture her, and because of this, the silver-haired wizard shifted her feet, unknowingly moving her feet away from the vine that was coming right for her slowly but surely. "Guildmaster Patty!" she shouted, only for her to squirm right out of those vines with a takeover form that was one of a Kitsune. At least she was okay, but that didn't stop Riwane from being captured too. Luckily for her, she got out as well. At least we have a team that can escape situations like this. Christina thought as she pulled out her sword from her back, ready for another vine to grab someone else. Yamato took care of his own vines that came at him but she didn't expect to be the next Victim as she was suddenly yanked into the air by a vine which also lifted her skirt to reveal part of her one piece that she had underneath her dress. From the sudden grab, she had dropped her blade upon the floor and caused her to grit her teeth "You son of a bitch." she murmured as she lifted her upper half of her body to reach her foot and try to pry the vine off. But instead was surprised by the vanishing of said-vine and was now falling from the air.

Instead of screaming like any other person would, she closed her eyes and conjured up a platform. One of which consisted of a bouncy-like surface (like a trampoline) which caught her easily and bounced her off to land onto her feet "Kathy's right, we need to move right now." she said before she moved over towards her blade, picking it up from the ground all the while the platform vanished into thin air, as if it had never existed in the first place. Gotta love Craftsman Magic and the creative nature that she possessed to keep herself safe. Little did she know there was so much more to this magic than she had thought. "The longer we stay here, the easier it'll be for us to get caught by these vines." and in one swift movement, she swiped her blade at a few vines that went to attack her, watching the now decapitated pieces fly before disappearing. Whoever is the cause of this is going to get a good beatdown. Out of all things we'd have to deal with, it's vines. one would think Christina was grouchy or a big complainer, but it was merely just her expressing how she felt about the situation.

Though Yamato began to warn everyone that the Guild Halls were possibly under attack. Which didn't make the situation any less pressuring. They're trying to weaken us by going for our halls as we go for their facilities. I'm worried who they could have sent to each hall. S classes? A classes? Christina didn't know and it was kind of worrying. Lamia Scale was her home, and no one messes with her home. But this was a mission they had to do, a mission that had to carry out in order to slow down the cult's process of bringing back Zeref. We're going to have to split the group... "If that's the case, Yamato, then we need to split the group. Some of us would have to go back while some of us stay. If we don't slow down this process from the cult, then we'll have bigger problems to face later. I vote some of us go back to help defend our halls while some stay to wreak some havoc on the facility that we're meant to attack." as far as she could tell, that was the only way for the time being. Unless someone had a better Idea "If anyone else has a better Idea, feel free to pitch that too. Two important things are at risk and we need to find a way to knock out both with one stone." it felt like Christina was taking charge, but she was just trying to show the urgency of these tasks. Alex also made it clear he wanted to go back and protect the Guild hall, his voice held determination to protect what his family had. So this made the situation all the more better. At least we have someone wanting to go back... Though there's no way Alex should go alone.

"I can always stay here and blast the facility if I need to...It doesn't take much to Nexus blast everything..." Katherine said, basically volunteering to destroy the base as much as she could just to slow the process as Christina suggested. Though, as she said that, a roar filled the air, and it was one from a big creature. From Kathy's reaction, it was Lionel and he was in trouble. Possibly by those vines as well. No doubt about it.

Christina whipped her head in the direction in which the roar had come from "Lionel is in trouble, shit..." she muttered before her attention turned to Satoshi and Yamato, only to see large angelic wings sprout from Satoshi's back. Not only were they fairly bright, but they almost made her blind, so she looked away and closed her eyes. Angelic magic? He also has a sword on his side so...Holy sword maybe? she guessed, only to keep her eyes away from Satoshi to avoid blindness "Satoshi we need to first off, wait for the Guild Master's choices before we make any moves. On top of that we have an ally in trouble." if anyone made any rash moves...this could get bad. The situation was already bad enough, more and more things were happening, guilds were being attacked, Lionel is roaring in a way that sounds like he's in need of help, and what makes this all the more worse is that no one knows who even controlling the vines!

Her and Saria exchanged brief glances at his threats before laughing loudly. "Mmm. You'd better leave while you can boy." Freida spoke, walking towards him slowly, hips swaying as she approached.
Nevms face flushed red as the ‘lusty duo’ laughed at him, his pointing figure dropping back to his side. A very familiar embarrassment struck him, and his smile wavered for a moment. Leave? While I can? Nevms thought about that for a second, doing his best to ignore the lusty mages ‘jiggly’ assets as she swayed in her approach. If Nevms allowed himself to think of it for even a second, he knew that this was a terrible idea. Knew from the moment he tried punching off the door of Fairy Tail’s hall...But now he was getting an opportunity, a free pass, there was a part of him that was having some second thoughts.

He didn’t notice. Not until she mentioned it. And as he found himself staring at the direction of a few guild mages who were left behind, they too gazed back with eyes that sent a slight chill down Nevms’ spine. Now Nevms smile was gone, now replaced by an expression of defeat. Suddenly, he was feeling kinda stupid. Stupid for barging in, stupid for saying what he said. Stupid for even thinking he could come to Magnolia and actually become a real mage. It was never going to end well, it never does for a Spindlewheel. Nevms thought, recounting the long line of failures his family had produced. Nevms the Fool, Nevms the Wannabe, Nevms the failure; yeah maybe I should leave, maybe, but...He recalled an old story from Eon, the previous mentor to Nevms. The story had actually been about his mother, and when she tried joining the same guild as Eon. She thought she’d come up with a lucky break in an experiment, that involved using a lot of weird ingredients mixed, using her magic, inside a cauldron. The result was a red-skinned creature with pointed ears, green eyes and a tongue of fire that immediately jumped from the cauldron and began setting light to all of the guild hall’s furniture. Everyone laughed, and she got a bad reputation ever since then. But she never gave up and that is how her mother became friends with Eon. Nevms mentor always told him that story whenever Nevms felt like he should give up, which there were plenty of times. But every time, Eon was there to tell him; ‘Spindlewheel’s don’t give up! You may fail over and over, but you can never give up!! What would you rather be? A failure, or a quitter!?!’ Eon’s face always went hot-red when he said those sort of things. Okay Eon, I can’t be a quitter...But I don’t want to be a failure either. Nevms thought and now he knew was the time to make a decision. He either turned around right now, right back out the door he broke through, become a quitter, or he stands his ground now even as the failure he ‘knew’ himself to be. Nevms made up his mind.“Heh..Heheh...Yeah, I guess I barged in on the wrong party huh? Okay, okay I’m leaving..J-just don’t hurt me alright?” Even if he was lying, that last bit was at least partly true. He turned around, and one foot after the other went toward the opening where the door should have been. Taking the short time frame he had before making it to the door to quickly think his best next plan of action. It didn’t take much effort, Nevms only had a couple of options. He had to reset soon, reserve the energy being rapidly burnt off by the side effects of Power up! In the time it took to take another step, he considered using Heat up! But after the next step, even he’d decided against that, too much chance of hurting the droned guild mages. Another step and now he was just a step from walking out the hall, but now the list was narrowed to one spell. Just a little more time. “Whoops! Ow!” Nevms made a show of tripping over his own feet and falling flat on his face. It was the first time Nevms had actually faked that motion, and he hoped that his very real experience with this would help make his act convincing. “Reset.” Nevms murmured as he staggered back up to his feet and brushed himself off. Then in dramatic fashion, Nevms stretched his arms out to the sky and started smiling again. “Rubber boy..” he said under his breath, he looked the same, but physically he was different now. Fail rather than quit Nevms told himself as turned on his heels so that he was now facing and meeting Freida’s gaze. Swinging his arm back, and as if his arm was a super stretchy elastic band, stretched out far behind him, and then come catapulting back through the gaping hole where the door should have been and shooting in Freida’s direction. “SIIIKEE! Taaake THIIIIS!!Nevms yelled and hoped that a ranged attack like this would be enough to catch the brain-washing mage off guard.

    598731Dante' grits his teeth, as he witnessed the Praxi still standing after his and everyone else's attack. "Guess I need to put a bit more power in my attacks." He said to himself. Landing softly on the ground, Dante' quickly placed some distance between himself and the Praxis as he launched his counter attack. He observed as an unknown mage attacked the Praxis with a form of darkness magic trying to take out his eyes. Smart, but his statement afterwards was bit extra. He noticed Cerelia dashing around the Praxis with speed that could one day match his very own. "She's fast." He said as his eyes followed her every movement. One moment she was beneath the Praxis, and the next she was hovering above him. Beneath the Praxis was a bright golden light, that shined just like a star. Following behind the golden light, were six beams of golden energy that were called down from the heaven. Watching her fight, and placing her spells together like puzzle, Dante' could only sum up her magic to a few guesses. After her attack, she appeared next to Altair and himself, placing Altair in his place after he disrespected her guild member. Dante' simply chuckles as she spoke, and walks off leaving the battle. "Alright, be careful." He says placing his gaze on her as she walks away.
    Dante's eyes harmlessly wondered down to her butt, before he turned his head back towards the Praxis. Examining the Praxis, it was now down a limb, with portions of its body charred from Dante's attack. Standing there Dante' sense something was wrong from within the stronghold concerning Chuya and his clone. They came across someone with strong magical power, though weaker than Dante's. The real problem was the fact that Dante's clone wouldn't be able to take a lot of damage before disappearing and leaving Chuya alone yet again. Instead of sending a clone in, he should've left one outside. This was a mistake on Dante's behave, and a mistake he needs to quickly fix. "Altair, Chuya and my clone has come across an S-class ranked mage on the inside. We need to end this shit now, and head inside our damn selves. I'm going for his head at the top of his body. You don't want you want, but it better be a killing blow." He says as his body begins to glow yet again.
    Before he dashes for an attack, Master Wilson was on the move. He simply walked straight up towards the Praxis and hugged its legs. Hearing rumors about Master Wilson's magic, Dante' knew that he was draining its energy. "Nows the time.", he says before vanishing and reappearing on top of the Praxis charred body. He starred up at the Praxis face, and grits his teeth. "Its time for you go bye bye now." He says as he began gathering solar energy in his hand. He takes his first step moving at blind speed still gathering energy. He runs along the Praxis body before leaping into the air becoming eye level with the Praxis. He places his hands beside each other with the palms facing outward, as the gathered solar energy turns black and gold forming into small compact ball. "Blaze of The Solar God." He says unleashing a powerful, point-blank stream line of solar energy towards the Praxis head.

    Somewhere within the mountains fortress stood Dante's clone and Chuya. Blocking their path and warning them to turn around was a blindfolded mage. The clone since the power coming from the mage, and he knew that this will cause a bit of trouble. The main weakness this clone has is low durability. It can't survive after taking a certain amount of damage, meaning Chuya will be left alone and this would've been for nothing. "No. You can't kill em, he's too strong for you. And myself." The clone say, thinking the last part to himself. "Sucks to say, but we're gonna have to play it safe. Long range attacks. Understand?" And without a response from Chuya, he shoves her behind him, before releasing his Solar Gods Bellow.

The Ace of Fairy Tail

Aedon Strom 2.jpeg

Aedon nodded to his fellow S class mage and responded, "I didn't expect them to come full force right away, and it is possible the big players are participating in a ritual right now. We may have caught them at a bad time. Although I doubt they'd be that oblivious to what's been going on. As many explanations that there could be, something still doesn't feel right. Unfortunately, if we don't get any more information, we have no other choice than to spring the trap and hope our skills carry us through to the other side."

After a moment, Aedon added, "I expected there to be more dark mages, though. I know its taboo, but their numbers can't have diminished this much since I was involved. Where could the other middle class mages be?" Almost as soon as he had asked this question, Aedon's glare turned in the direction of the guild hall as he said, "The guild halls. That's where I'd be."

Before he could say anything else he heard Messei's yelling and his head snapped back to see her throwing herself headfirst into a fight she couldn't win. With a quick kinetic vector, Aedon flashed in between Messei and her assailant, kicking Messei's sword out of the way in the process so that she wouldn't accidentally hit him.. This was instantly followed by the sound of someone getting stabbed and a groan. Messei wouldn't have been able to see what had happened, and a few tense moments passed before Aedon kicked the opponent off his sword and onto the ground, spazzing out from the effect of Aedon's electrified katana.

Turning to Messei, Aedon looked into her eyes as he took the sword away from her and said, "Messei, you don't need to prove anything to us. Just be smart and lets all get through this, okay? Here, take this, I think it'll work for you better." Aedon reached over and pulled out his Wakizashi, made sure it wasn't sparking with electricity, and handed it to Messei. "Now you better not lose that, these are a matching set," he added, hoping that would get her to be a bit more careful.

Then he returned his attention to Rayleigh for a moment, "Either we finish up here fast or we split our forces to check on the guild halls. We don't know what we'll face inside, so I think the best course of action is to check on the guilds first. Then depending on where the real threat is, hopefully the other group will be able to return to in time."

Shade & Sigma, Crocus

Shade and Sigma both watched on as Akagi seemed rather stunned by Ned's appearance as well. The two S Class mages just enjoying the show presently while being mildly disgusted by Neds' actions. What confused her and caught her the most off-guard however was Ned kneeling before her and taking her hand. "W-What..?" She asked. His initial words weren't that bad, honestly a little sweet...if he weren't wearing several pairs of panties. Though of course, Ned being Ned, it took a perverted tone. She snatched her hand away and slapped him as hard as she possibly could, "Fuck off!" She growled. She was going to do more, only Tyson soon crashed through the door. Wilson must spend a fortune on doors, poor man.

She glanced over to Akagi freaking out and screaming, watching her clawing at her helmet. She seemed to be freaking out nearly entirely over Neds' actions. Shade watched Ned and sighed, crossing her arms as the fight was rather comically delayed by this little scene. Sigma chuckled as he was referred to as 'Mr. Protein Shakes'. Personally the man thought he was just scared to fight him, part of him did. Though with how stupid he acted...he was beginning to think that what he said was right. Both mages stared blankly as he walked over to the couch and laid down watching TV. Well okay then one less idiot to worry about having to fight.

Akagi soon shouted Ned's name followed by attacking the man, couldn't say that was unexpected going by how she was acting. Tyson seemed rather overly confident and Akagi soon began her own assault. Sigma quickly assumed a defensive position. He moved to the side to avoid the scything blast and activated his magic to block the majority of the force from her palm. He grunted nonetheless from the impact, despite his magic Akagi was still incredibly strong and it still hurt. "Mmm...as expected of the Moonless Knight." He spoke. This wss surely going to be one hell of a brawl, both of their magics had offensive and defensive capabilities; albeit Akagi's was overall stronger despite he himself being an S Class.

He redirected his magic to his arms, bringing them crashing down towards Akagi's head. It left him open for a counter attack of course, though the plan was to finish this quickly before Tyson joined the fray.

Shade was both happy and at the same time rather upset that the pairings happened like they did. Though either way she was at a disadvantage for this. Her darts couldn't penetrate that armor and getting them past Miles' aura would be troublesome to near impossible. To make matters worse that brat had returned...with a freaking giant Tiger heading right for her! Dammit! She growled as they both started their attacks. Not good...not good at all. "Shit, shit, shit.." She muttered under her breath, barely being able to jump back before Miles' fist connected. "That damn aura just isn't fair!" She growled. Even if it was unlikely to penetrate she still tossed a wave of darts at Byakko and Miles both. She had to try, there was no way she could evade until their magic power ran out.

AltairA worthy warrior, she was, but a fool, just like the rest. If one would wish to pamper their own, then they should do it in the safety of their guilds. If she had expected to shame him, then she was sorely mistaken. If anything, she had outed herself as a soft-hearted fool, and a coward who would resort to parting shots. Were Fairy Tail mages all craven? He would have words with her after this. He had to focus on the mark at hand. He weaved through the myriad of attacks the other mages brought forth, noting that a good number of them had chosen to storm the fort while he and a small number kept the beast busy. Upon Dante's suggestion, Altair said nothing, but sheathed his sword in preparation. It was time to end this, once and for all. For the man who has cut through lightning itself, this beast was nothing.

Dante's beam pierced through the monster. This was the moment the swordsman seized. He stepped upon the monster, and using it as a ledge, leapt into the air. His sword gleamed as it leapt out from its home, not at the monster, but at the beam that ran through the beast. To the swordsman, it was as if time slowed, the beam moving inch by inch towards his blade. To those who witnessed it, it was as effortless as like a heated knife through butter. The beam struck the steel, resisted, then bent against it, running across the sword's edge like water. As the sword swung through its entire arc, more of the beam flowed into the blade, until the sword shone with an incandescent glow, as bright as the sun itself. Altair landed neatly atop the beast, and, without even a second's rest, took once more into the skies. Eyes ablaze with the fires of determination, he swung twice downwards upon the beast. His sword, imbued with Dante's magic, released two scything beams of gold energy, pristine and perfect, slicing through the beast in a large X. The energy sliced through, slamming onto the ground, then erupted into brilliant twin geysers of power.

He landed once more on the ground, his sword already returned to its scabbard by the time his feet touched the earth. "Hmph." He flicked his hair behind him. "Mindless minion of our malevolent malefactors, meander back to the muculent mucus you spring from."

Serd, Bons, Jinto, Kai, Illia, Crocus Mountains

  • Praxis was certainly taking a beating, Cerelia's gravity magic severely hindered the behemoth from being able to fight effectively. Had she not been there this battle likely would of played out much different, perhaps a bit bloodier. Unfortuntely with his one and only strength being, well, strength....it was more than a little hard to actually do anything other than be a massive distraction and buy the group inside some time. With one arm weakened that was becoming harder and harder to do as well. Lucius was successful in mostly blinding the beast, though it managed to save its eyesight partially it was as goof as blind. Due to such ag Cerelia's meteor strikes it brought its arms up in a futile attempt to block then in a sloppy and pointless manner, the meteors quickly snapping one in half; the piece that broke off flying and landing in front of Kai, followed by an ear piercing shriek as a sickly black ichor spouted from the wound and the meteors impacted it.

    Three charred holes were on the beasts chest, steam rising up off of the surface. It still stood however though it was obvious it couldn't fight back at this point. With Wilson holding the behemoth in place it had no way at all of dodging Dante's blast. The beast let out a ear piercing shriek as its head was essentially being burned off. Though was stopped by Altair. Briefly a mangled and dripping head was visible, Praxis more or less on the verge of death. Though Altairs' finishing move was enough. At first nothing happened other than an 'X' pattern across its body. Slowly it slid into multiple pieces that crashed to the ground in a bloody heap crushing anything left beneath it and shaking the mountain top with massive force sending snow and debris flying everywhere, the behemoth defeated; even if Altair did steal the show.

    The two female mages, who hadn't really been of any use at all, shielded their face from both as best they could. "That was awesome!" Kai cheered. Ilia seemed rather shaken, though she did smile and nod. "Yeah." She agreed, impressed by everyones strength compared to her own.

Her predatory grin grew that much more, a small shiver running down her spine. It had been a long time since she had seen a man, a warrior, with such a deliciously terrified expression. As he stuttered out his words she simply remained silent, her piercing golden eyes staring into his own as if scouring the very depths of his soul. Oh how she missed moments such as this. But with instructions received she knew it was time to move on. "See how much nicer it is to just be a good boy and tell me what I want to know?" She slid her finger from his chin down his neck, going ever lower to his chest before she maneuvered herself around to his side to wrap her arm around his. She hugged his arm close, pressing herself up against him like a love-struck girl on a date. "Not that I doubt your word, but perhaps you might escort me there yourself?" Fear was a powerful motivator, especially after a show of force, but it hardly guaranteed truthful answers.

Giving the man's arm a light tug she began the way he instructed, her grip on his arm never loosening. At some point she allowed him to take over leading them as they made their way through the twisting maze of corridors. It was a rather short and uneventful trip until they reached the room the man had indicated. With another smile she let go of his arm. "Thank you very much. I'd suggest you go and surrender to the kids outside." She gave him a light shove followed by a 'shoo' motion before turning her attention the door. Reaching out she held her open palm towards the door, her eyes closing as her form once again glowed a bright gold for a brief moment. The light vanished as quickly as it appeared and she re-opened her eyes and opened the door, making her way inside.

Her eyes scanned the room, a far cry from what she was use to. But then she could hardly expect a band of cultists to ever match that. She all but ignored the presence in the room as she casually strode forward, arms folded under her chest as she critically surveyed the man's abode. Her focus only finally landed on the man once she came to a stop in the middle of the room. "You could use an interior designer, Honey. If my guild saw this place they would be appalled." She offered a smile up to the man, shifting her weight to lean more on one leg before continuing. "Since you probably already know the situation let's cut to the chase. I want you to surrender peacefully and call off your attacks. Surely a better alternative than being thrashed about by little old me, yes?"

It seemed the enemy was desperate. She felt bad for Messei who needed Aedon to jump infront of her to protect them.
One of them was preparing a spell to summon something and rayleigh threw one of her swords at him.
However the other one charged straight at Messei, clearly deducing she was the weak link.
Rayleigh immediately changed her attention to him. She had to do something fast to protect Messei from being killed.
"Aedon, Messei, cover your ears NOW!
Rayleigh grabbed her scarf with one of her hands and lowered it just enough and used "Bird Screech"
One of her sound based spells, designed to knock back opponents or at least damage their ears.
Rayleigh kept her hand on her scarf to obscure her face.
The enemy was very desperate and she figured they didn't expect them to be here at all.
They'd have to finish these people off and regroup with the others.
"Let's finish this! Aedon! Messei!"

Fehlen, Gremir, Shyilia, Lucia, Forest Base

Lucia Power/Drunk Level: 25%

  • Both Shyilia and Lucia were on guard, if it was believable given she was still drinking. Hey! Who ever said you couldn't drink and still pay attention on a serious misson? It looked unprofessional but who cares! That's when the vines happened. "What the fuck are those?!" She shouted, firing wildly and shooting a few of them. What the hell was going on?! She watched in horror as the vines crept along to try and snatch various members of their group up, watching as Master Patty was snatched up. She couldn't help but to snicker at the panties she was wearing though. How cute and fitting of her guild master! Though the vines were a very real problem, Shyilia tossing down a moonion seed; one soon popping out bashing the vines near her.

    Luckily Lucia didn't have to try and shoot Patty free, the leprechaun using her Takeover Magic to free herself. "Ooh...awesome.." Lucia spoke, eager to see her Masters' abilities in her current form. She looked all sneaky and mysterious...if she didn't know her she'd say she could be in the Cult herself!

    "Please be careful everyone." Shyilia spoke softly, the Forest Shaman doing her best to fend off the vines. The vines that were culled by everyone only seemed to keep coming. Whoever was casting them was rather determined. As Katherine spoke Shyilia nodded, "I agree. We're going to waste all our magic i-if we stay out here." Shyilia spoke, the petite Guild Master nervous about what was waiting for them but at the same time knew they were only wasting time if they didn't go inside and get started. Especially now that all the grunts were taken care of out here.

    What neither girl had expected however was for the vines to destroy the upper half of Yamato's garments, Shyilia blushing beet red at the scene and Lucia smirking. Many women would kill to be in their position right now, maybe even kill them for being in it. Oh well. Sucked to be them eh? "Ehehehe...nice show there, Yamato." She hummed teasingly. Of course she didn't know him personally but you'd be living under a rock if you didn't know who he was. Shyilia soon focused on Yamato when he called them over, the girl walking over. "Y-Yes?" She asked, unsure what was wrong though knew something was.

    Her eyes went wide as he mentioned the Guild Halls potentionally being under attack. What!? But...no! Of course it made some sense that they decided to do this...this Cult had already proven to be no ordinary dark guild. But still! "I-I don't...the only one there is a boy named Nevms that wanted to join." She spoke with a frown, the Guild Master clearly quite worried. She really didn't know what to do. Toki wouldn't be able to fight much on her own, and Riwane also wasn't a fighter. Not to mention by the time anyone got back there it'd likely be too late. She was visibly shaken and panicking. By not even considering this she had put her guild and its members at risk...she was a terrible leader. She dropped down to her knees clearly panicking more and more.

    "Shit.." Lucia muttered, clenching her gun hard. She had half a mind to run back to Magnolia and hop a train to Margaret town, though she knew that was pointless in her mind...she still couldn't believe it either. Though unlike Shyilia she wasn't panicking she was pissed off. Ironically what soon snapped her out of it was Maev's manic shouting. Shyilia blinked as she watched her utterly destroying those vines, certainly surprised by the sudden outburst from the quiet looking girl. Lucia was as well, brow raised as she sipped from her bottle. She was going to try and console her herself until Morik appeared, apparently it was her brother. Well, that was probably for the best anyways.

    He would likely be much better suited. As Alex spoke to Patricia and requested to return and asked Yamato to use the carrier Blue Pegasus had been ferried in on she frowned. At-least they had some fighters capable of returning. It had been a bad idea to send both of her S-Classes to the mountain base and Cerelia too to top it all off. At Alex's offer to send aid to the other halls she smiled, "I know you don't have to...but...please. If you get a chance contact him and get some sent to Magnolia." She requested, nearly pleading with Alex. She didn't know what else to do other than ask for help, her own poor strategies and planning had gotten her in this mess...she was ashamed for having to ask for help. Though hopefully they wouldn't mind.

    Christina's idea also made sense, though that came the question of who to send. "I-If we do that...I'd like Master Patricia to decide who goes where.." She spoke softly. "I...I have no one here capable of fighting to send back and it's my own fault for being so inexperienced...I'm sorry to have to ask you all for help.." She said, bowing apologetically before the group. She had already failed her promise to her predecessor...though self pity was rather unbecoming and quite pathetic, she couldn't help it.

    Lucia heard the roar and knew Lionel was in trouble. Though before she could react to potentionally go help more vines appeared followed by Gremir just at the edge of the smoke. "Mmmm...trying to leave so soon?" He questioned. "I thought you were all going to attack eventually." He mused, knives appearing in his hands. "Or are you all just here for a picnic?" He asked with a mocking laugh. He didn't pass the barrier of the smoke, though he could due to what he was wearing, he preferred to keep his distance. The masked man staring at them all briefly, assessing the situation. "Shall we?" He asked, flicking his hands towards the group, a showering of razor sharp blades spraying towards them. Lucia of course squealed and dove out of the way, Shyilia did as well only to be snared entirely by vines and dragged swiftly towards the base. "Help meee!" She squealed, no where near strong enough to break free.

600602Armin Sterling
Location: Crocus Mountains

Armin reared his head back, and with a violent shake, let out a massive sneeze that echoed through the mountain range. He stood still for a moment, bent forward as he recovered from the sneeze, then stood back up to hear the sound resonate off the cliff faces as he wiped his nose with a gloved hand. Even wearing a heavy coat, gloves, a scarf, and a hat he had knitted himself, he couldn't stand the cold. He enjoyed the spring and summer for that reason, but in the mountains it didn't matter. The higher up you went, the colder it got, and the bite just got worse and worse. He rubbed his arms, his teeth chattering slightly as he prayed to some god that he wouldn't get a cold or anything.

He stopped and sat down on a rock, pulling out a map he had found to tell him how to navigate the mountains and studied it. By all means, he should have already met up with the rest of the Guilds to storm the base. Master Patty had assigned him as the only representative of the Guild for this mission, so he didn't want to mess it up straight away. But of course, preparing for the cold weather had taken time, and then there was the nice man who needed help rounding up some cows that had escaped from his property, so Armin had made a slight detour there as well. As far as he knew, he was still on time, but he just had to find the rest of the mages on the mountain to assist in taking down the Dark Guild. Then he could return home and finish putting up decorations to celebrate the season.

As he studied the map, his eyes moved to the corner where the legend was. He squinted, pulling off his glasses and cleaning them quickly with his shirt before putting them back on and looking once more. Honestly, the legend was rather strange. The words looked all garbled up. The S-Class mage couldn't believe someone could make such a terrible map, in this day and age. Was it really that hard to draw a couple mountains with some roads in between? Then there was the compass on it, which for some reason inverted. Honestly, that was just...confusing...

"...Oh." At that moment he heard a chorus of booms, looking to to the source and seeing some smoke billow up from another mountain. "Ohhhh..."

~~~~~
Armin was no longer cold as he ran up the mountain, panting as he tried to keep his footing, sweat pouring down his forehead and drenching his back as he pumped his arms. He couldn't believe he had gotten lost. Oh, Lucia and Ikora would have a laughing fit if they heard that he had tried to follow an upside-down map and ended up on the wrong mountain, then had to sprint all the way there. Alex probably wouldn't think much better of him. And Armin had even been talking up how prepared he was for this mission. The other mages on the Mountain Team would probably not think too fondly of him for getting lost at such a crucial time. And to make it all the more worse, it was all his own fault.
He finally saw the base as he came up the final ledge, mages fighting in the distance. As he got up over the ledge, he pulled off his coat, dropping it as he used his scarf to wipe the sweat out of his face, taking in huge amounts of air to try and catch his breath. As he began to regain it, he looked up, seeing the giant monster that his comrades were dealing with at the other side of the base. He then turned to the side of the base he was on, with minimal defenses due to the focus on the front that the other Guild mages were attacking. Armin reached down to pick up his coat and started to walk towards the base.
Before he got too far, he noticed a man standing at the wall begin to move towards him. Armin sighed, not wanting to deal with some random lackey at the moment, but stood up as straight as he could, continuing to move forward until he could see the man better. He wore armor that seemed to be made from the skin and fur of a bear, his chest exposed to reveal powerful-looking muscles. The man's hair was shaved short, and he wore a serious face. He held a nasty-looking mace, which he swung around rather loosely.
The two mages stared at each other for a couple seconds, and the dark mage spoke first. "A lone mage looking to ambush us from behind, huh? Thankfully I thought of this possibility. You think we are so dumb to just let you all walk right on over us? You must not be very wise if you thought that would work." The man tilted his head back, as if looking down on Armin. "And you must not be very strong if you are huffing and puffing just from climbing a couple rocks. Well, don't worry. I will put you out of your misery." As he lifted his mace, the muscles of his arms began to swell slightly. With a grunt, he swung the mace down with surprising speed, and Armin lifted an arm to block the attack.
A loud clang could be heard as the weapon struck Armin's arm, and the dark mage seemed surprised for a moment. He then smiled. "So, you're stronger than you seem. Good, then maybe I can have some fun, and show to the Boss that I am truly strong." Lifting the mace once more, his muscles flexed once more, and with a howl, swung down again on Armin's arm, the force of it driving his feet into the ground, creating cracks under him. The same clang was heard, the sound echoing just barely over the sounds of the rest of the battle. The dark mage's face slowly began to twist into one of surprise, annoyance, and a twinge of fear. "How? You seem so feeble!"
Armin wasn't even looking at the weapon striking him, but instead at the spikes driving into his coat. His frown deepened. "
I really liked that coat, too." As he finished his sentence, what looked like liquid metal began to creep over his face from beneath his shirt, the clothing ripping as it began to swell up. It moved all across his body, his shirt being torn to shreds as his now ruined coat dropped to the floor, revealing a metal-covered arm, the mace having one of it's spikes shattered where it had struck the S-Class.
As the metal finished morphing around his frame, Armin stood up straight, the Earthbreaker Armor shining in the sun. He shrugged the mace off of his arm, and cracked his knuckles. As he moved, the armor seemed to groan, taking the dark mage aback as he took a step backwards, as if to flee. Armin looked at him from beneath his armor. "I'm not in a very good mood, so let's finish this here, okay?" Armin tightened his hand into a fist, magic energy flowing throughout his body into the armor. The dark mage paused, and then took up a defensive stance. "The Knight-Errant of Lamia Scale, huh? I heard about your capabilities. No matter how hard you can punch me, I can withstand it by increasing the strength of my muscles. So try, you fool! I can take it-!" The man couldn't finish his sentence as Armin slammed his fist into the ground, a pillar erupting out of the ground to the right of the man, striking him with tremendous force before he could even act. The attack sent him flying through the air off the side of the mountain, and Armin stood up. "He won't die, right? Well, he has that muscle magic stuff, so he should be fine." He then began to walk towards the wall of the compound, placing a hand on the wall.
He knocked gently on it, impressed by how sturdy it was. Taking a few steps back, he ran at it, throwing his shoulder into it. Almost like paper, the wall crumbled around him, making a hole big enough for the average person. He stumbled forwards a little bit, but caught his footing as he looked around. He was in some sort of storage room, but it was empty aside from a few hollow boxes. He looked around, and not seeing anybody hiding to potentially jump him, he made his way to the door, opening it up and looking into the hallway beyond and stepping out into it, closing the door behind him, despite how pointless the action was. While the others were fighting the main forces, he might as well try to find the big bad guy at put a stop to it all.
(Been very exhausted lately, sorry if this post isn't up to par.)
He couldn't believe how vicious she was! Shade's spiteful tone to his previous remark was fairly adorable in his opinion, if Akagi and her weren't duking it out, he would've guessed they were twins by the way acted! Fondling the fading bruise caused by her unyielding slap, Ned was beginning to wonder just how many welts she could create on his body from a sensual playdate. Granted, he was not all too enthusiastic about sadistic or masochistic kinks but a little rough-housing foreplay was always nice in his opinion! He assumed that her lack of appreciation for his request was either from the abundance of people that were in the room or, she'd just been playing hard to get! Although, many other ideas crossed his mind such as Shade being a lady with very 'refined' tastes, a woman that you need to properly dine before getting into the good bits. "She'll warm up to me, all it takes is time." There was barely any notion of her being uninterested crossing his mind at all, in the depraved mind of Ned, basically, all the women he comes across are 'interested' in him! Of course, with the exception of relatives, speaking of which. It'd been roughly two or three months since he's reunited with them, especially in regard to his cousin Messei.
The abstrusely gorgeous azure-haired girl that rambled around the Fairy Tail guild, last time they came across one another was during one of the many holidays! "Poor girl." Spending these traditions alone without that loved one she had must've been difficult, Ned rarely had a deep-down connection with someone, if anything, Akagi might've been the closest. His guilty conscious became the reasoning as to why his meetings with her have become so frequent, keeping an eye on her well-being is becoming more and more a priority. His constant visits and exposure to the guild she was apart of was beginning to make him more and more appreciative of her guild and its members. Despite his own differing opinions about guilds, he had to admit that their compassionate ways of treating each other were very commendable, without them helping his cousin out, she'd probably be in a far darker state of mind! Honestly, he could actually see himself becoming affiliated with the likes of them If it weren't for the disparaging rules and lack of constant traveling getting him down. Considering how that wasn't going to happen anytime soon, his only connections with these guilds would be to occasionally check up on Messei, Akagi, or just wind up assisting with missions in exchange for precious Jewels! Additionally, he'd humbly take on these missions free of charge if it involved increasing the relations between him and a beautiful woman!
Drifting from his deep psychological thoughts to the bag of popcorn, Ned gave way to his cravings and begun stuffing them in his mouth while sitting next to Sinny. Munch after munch, he remained vigilant in watching what was happening, both on the television and the ongoing chaos that was happening in the background. Akagi was beginning to lay into Sigma with an intense flurry of blasts, a lot of them connecting but doing moderate to minimal damage, in spite of them not outright killing him, they still looked like they hurt! Watching her go at him like that was kinda motivating too, as much as he wanted to get up and join in on the fun, there really wasn't anything in it for him... Not to mention that Sigma and Shade were clearly outnumbered, clearly an uneven match! His lackadaisical demeanor, however, had changed once Miles had cast a blast of his crimson aura at part of the couch, blowing portions of it outward and sending feathers along with springs throughout the room. "Sheesh! Ya tryin' to piss off ya leader? All this vandalism aint gonna do ya no favors buddo!" He replied, tossing up a piece of his popcorn and catching it with his mouth. A deliberate attack from this guy would've been enough for him to confront him, yet, his firm restraint and overall laziness was stopping him from involving himself in a pointless fight, at least until the final straw had been broken.
Miles and Byakko's unfair tag-team on Shade was simply disgraceful, sure, they might've been attacking the enemy but that was no excuse for him and that furball to gang up on the woman! Emerging into a standing position as he left the couch, Ned leisurely walked himself over to a part of the fray to assist in evening out the odds. Clutching onto the end of the popcorn bag, Ned took an immediate step back and chucked it at Miles before swiftly engaging him. "Hey, fire crotch! Hasn't your mother ever told ya not to bully on women?!" Releasing his sheath away from the belt-loop, Ned promptly clashed the scabbard against the man's fist in an attempt to maneuver his hand away from Shade. Whilst digging his heels into the carpet, Ned defensively stood his ground, one-handedly taking ahold of his sheathed weapon and using it as a barrier to protect Shade from catching a wild haymaker. He already knew that by Interfering with this situation was going to land him in hot water with Akagi, still, ignoring this and letting a woman be assaulted by the likes of Byakko and Miles? He could not allow that, the only thing he could do to compensate was by using his sheath as a baton if things were to get physical. "Sorry 'bout ruining you and fuzzlenuts fun, I just thought that i'd make things a bit more interestin'." Giving a tiresome look at Miles and Byakko, it was evident that he was not the least intimidated judging by his impression towards the aura concealing both their forms. Energy or no energy, he didn't think it was going to make much of a difference as he was already 'dead', what were they going to do... Kill him?
Gifting out a few words to Shade and the others in the room, he wanted to make sure that his intentions weren't misconstrued by anyone. "Let me be clear, i'm not in any way siding with this girl or promoting whatever her intentions are, but i'll be damned if I just stand by and let you and whiskers gang-up on some lady." Flashily Twirling around the handle of his sleeved blade, Ned steadily assumed a defensive posture and prepared his weapon out in front of Byakko and Miles. It would've been more effective to unsheath his blade and use it properly, however, Ned had no real motives for slaying Miles or Byakko! Although, he wasn't exactly sure if they were going to hold back any! Be that as it may, Ned still planned on using his weapon as a substitute newspaper so he could slap around Miles and that rascally cat of his.
"Guess i'll just have to smack the crap out of you both until you learn some manners."
Wilson wasn't concerned with the attacks being sent at Praxis, and my proximity himself. He had buffed up enough that they shouldn't have done anything serious. Although he was impressed by the display of power the mages we're showing off, and while Wilson preferred not to get a sun burn. He still held Praxis draining his physical energy as the waves of magical attack came at him. When the dust cleared, and Praxis inevitably fell. Wilson was nowhere to be seen. For all those involved it could he presumed that Wilson was blown to oblivion, or much less likely, crushed by the corpse of Praxis. Anyone close enough, however, could hear a low grumbling almost like a growl coming from Praxis, as well as a dark thick magical aura. Almost like a swamp. It may have seemed that the disfigured corpse was getting back up for round two. But after a moment the growl turned into the voice of Wilson warning anyone around him."Stand aside." With that and little else the giant Guild master lifted Praxis with very little effort. His ragdoll body making it somewhat troublesome as his limbs dangled and swung around, threatening to hit someone. However Wilson tossed the corpse directly above him. Then winding back a big left uppercut waited for it to fall back towards him. Striking it once it got within range. The strike would cause a massive shockwave that...may or may not have caused an avalanche depending on how snowy the mountain was, and sending the corpse flying off in some random direction, probably towards Blue Pegasus Guild. Having taken care of that Wilson dusted himself off, and turned his glare towards the dark guild."You're next." He grumbled his aura still oozing out taking the form of a dark fog behind him, with two giant glowing predator like eyes hiding within it
Tyson was completely unfazed by everything going on around him. It was rather unimpressive. He felt insulted that the dark mages sent such pathetic excuses for mages to attack the number one mages guild. Even with most of their best members gone. It was rather insulting, but still Tyson didn't show much interest. Only starting indifferently at the battles happening around him. He was bored by how little he had to do. It seemed unnecessary to tag team either of these mages. They didn't seem all that impressive, and the pervert wasn't interested in fighting. So Tyson didn't see much point in forcing that. He was a pervert, not a bad guy as far as Tyson could tell. Although he did seem to invoke the wrath of everyone in the room. He was quite the idiot, or he just cared very little. Tyson could relate to that, he didn't see much point in putting energy towards stuff like emotions. He didn't see how others did it. Like Miles, who got upset over every little thing. If Tyson had to do that he'd never get anything done...actually, that explained a lot about Miles. Like why he was always so lazy. Truely Tyson felt sorry for his younger brother. Of course, even Tyson couldn't stay stuck in his thoughts when all this roughhousing was going on. He was snapped out of it when Ned jumped into the battle with Miles, the tiger, and the dark mage woman. It was a perfect opportunity. While Ned was distracted trying to be all chivalrous, and Shade was distracted by how confusing the situation was. Tyson would attack. It was a flash, a single moment and Tyson was directly in front of Ned. So close, and to just and angle that it would have been impossible for him to attack with his sword. Then with all his might Tyson kicked Ned directly into Shade, like a soccer ball being kicked into a goal."Hmm, this guy needs to get his priorities straight. I've never seen someone so desperate to get laid that they'd assist a member of a cult that was set on killing everyone. Oh well, guess we'll just have to kick the sense into him, along with the girl." Tyson stated feeling rather happy about the idea of kicking the crap out of Ned. He could totally see why the others wanted to do the same.
(MOUNTAIN GROUP.)
Charging herself headlong into the ensuing madness, Messei was steadfast when it came to demonstrating her valor! There'd been a glimmering hunch that this might've been a bad idea as she'd been heading straight towards an abominal-looking creature that'd been blocking her path inside of the compound. Not to be mistaken with Praxis but instead, another one of Bons's abhorrent summons that looked just as freaky. Apart from the glaring bony spikes that were protruding from their body as well as the few unnatural traits, that made them stand out, they were very much comparable to a regular human-being, still, from her point of view they were still just as terrifying as their gigantic counterpart. "You can do this..." She whispered to herself, trying to calm her trembling hands as they held onto the handle of the longsword. Their monstrous characteristics helped tremendously when it came to gaining the courage to fight, taking the life of a deplorable 'thing' felt a lot easier on the mind as opposed to killing a regular person! Nonetheless, it still proved very difficult when she tried to move her legs forward to go and assault them, her thighs practically felt stiff and buttery as they both approached.
Gaining the willpower to make the first move and attack was difficult, the paralyzing fear was still apparent in her body. Wilson's display of courage, however, came as a boost of confidence once he'd put on display his heroic behavior! Monitoring him from the corner of her eye, Messei was almost flabberghasted to see him enwrapping one of Praxis's legs! It seemed he wasn't able to fully lift it but he made sure that this behemoth wasn't moving anywhere, another exemplary feat that proved just how powerful a guild master was. "Amazing Master Wilson!" Awkward as he looked for him to be 'hugging' their leg, the sheer amount of energy it must be taking for him to hold down that thing must've been incomprehensible. With the help the outside influence, Messei effectively overcome the troublesome thoughts and pushed forward, readying herself to slay the horrendous beast that was waiting for her. Just as she was about to make the first move and strike, it came as a very minor surprise that she wasn't able to fully lift the blade up so she tried swinging it instead.
It sorta looked like a child swinging a heavy branch around! Before Grax was able to make his first move, Aedon was able to stop him from turning Messei into a shish kebab! His sudden appearance in front of her made her almost freak out, even sending her straight to the ground as a result of the surprise! "Aedon?!" She clamored out, her dumbfounded look immediately ending as she crossed eyes with him after getting up from the ground. "I-i know, it's just that I want to repay Shyilia for what happened earlier today... But I guess you're right, I can't really return any favors if i'm dead." Adding onto her astonishment was Aedon actually lending her one of his prized blades! Nodding in appreciation at the gift, Messei uncurled her fingers and accepted the weapon in the palm of her hands. "Thank you Aedon, i'll make sure not to lose it!" She chirped, giving him a soft hug for the gift he had bestowed. Upon gaining the new weapon and tossing away the old one, it'd been revealed just how much of a difference that it made! Swaying the sheathed weapon around, it felt practically weightless compared to that burdensome sword! "Erm, if you don't mind, i'll stay close to you since i'm kinda new to this!"
Nearing Aedon, Messei had accompanied him until she broke herself off from him after being startled by Grax! Somehow, this bastard managed to survive Aedon's blade through his stomach and was now sprinting towards her at full-force! "He didn't die?!" Fumbling around, Messei was able to slide out the Wakizashi from its sheath and properly arm herself, although, it made little difference with the experience she had! Guess it just meant she had to end this encounter in one blow, unlikely as that sounds. "C'mon, don't let yourself get scared... Just remember what your cousin taught you." Cautiously wielding the blade, Messei steadied the weapon in front of her, keeping up her guard while keeping the sharpened end directed at Grax. "Monitor your breathing, keep focused on the enemy." She whispered to herself, a soft breath leaving her lips as she recollected the instructions.
"As soon as they're about to strike, follow up with forwarding slash." Hunching downward and gripping the handle tighter, she waited for Grax to close in so that she could spring out from her position but she was interrupted by Rayleigh's abrupt change of plans, luckily, this didn't mean she didn't have to risk getting herself hurt but it did ruin the opportunity to redeem herself. Of course, listening to Rayleigh's directions, Messei shielded her ears from the screeching sound until the enemy was seemingly disoriented... Maybe her plans of redemption weren't shattered after all! After Sparrow's move, Messei lunged forward to slash Grax through the abdomen with the Wakizashi, in hopes that it would injure the creature.
As everything unfolded all she could do was stay close to her Guild Master. Even as the vines assaulted the party she stayed close. Fortunately she was an athletic girl so even if she couldn't offer much, she could at least manage to avoid the vines. The mention of the guilds being attacked caused her to shoot a worried look to Shyilia. It was obvious the little guild master didn't take the news well. For her part she couldn't help but click her tongue in frustration. She probably wouldn't have been any use if she had stayed but she sure as hell couldn't have been any more useless. And with Aedon and Reyleigh over at Crocus there wasn't much they could do despite being right outside the city. Fortunately it seemed as if Lamia Scale would be able to help out.
Her focus was drawn from the planning as a figure approached and spoke from beyond the fog. It was difficult to see him but it was clear by his words alone that he was one of the dark mages. Her eyes went wide when she noticed the knives in his hand and quickly dove for cover as a flurry of blades were flung into the group. She managed to get behind a tree just in time for a trio of knives to hit the spot she had just been. She stared in disbelief at the knives, it really sinking in that that could have killed her. Fortunately she wasn't given time to fall into a panic as a vine snatched up the small girl beside her. "Master!" Without a thought she dove from her cover, grabbing onto Shyilia's hand only to be dragged along with the girl. She tried to dig her heels into the ground, but she couldn't find purchase as the vine dragged the pair towards the base.
It was only through dumb luck that she managed to reach out and grab hold of a passing branch. She let out a pained grunt through gritted teeth as the pair came to a stop, her arm feeling like it'd be torn off by the pull of the vine. But she wasn't about to just let go and let her guild master get dragged away. "J-just... Hold on..." She managed to eek out a few words, barely having the strength for even that much lest she risk losing her grip. But even with all her focus and might she was hardly a match for a vine capable of effortlessly hoisting people into the air and her fingers started to slip away from the branch. "I-I ca-can't!" Even with all her strength it was a lost cause as her hand was ripped from the tree branch, the pair once again being dragged towards the base.
Melia was feeling angry about being sent to the forest instead of being with Viera. It just wasn't fair. Anyways, she just went along with her orders because she didn't like the Dark Guild. It was during planning when the dark guild pulled a preemptive strike, as the Guildmaster named Shylia was taken by a vine. Thankfully it seems Toki, the orange Haired female that she decided to nickname due to her full name being too long, would catch Patricia. Unlucky enough, Toki was being pulled along now too.
"Hold on, I'll rescue you!" Melia said, before her clothes shimmered as they vanished. They were soon replaced by steel panties and a black cloak, as her legs were covered in Armor that ended with blades on the feet. After turning into Kaze form, she dashed at a great speed, before spinning around and cutting through the Vine with her legs freeing Shylia and Toki. She then stayed close, to protect the two from danger.
Katherine realized these vines were far more of a hassel but luckily, Yamato was going around saving those who had gotten grabbed by them and once Christina was on her own feet, she knocked out some vines too. The S class then suggested she'd stay behind to take care of the compound if everyone needed to go to their guilds. After all, Kathy wasnt so worried about her own guild due to Miles and Akagi being at the hall. They were fairly strong, especially when both fighting at the same time. However, Lionel roared, which caused the mage to turn towards his direction Lionel! she shouted in her mind, though the sound of someone unfamiliar had chimed in and caused her to look in the general direction. He was mocking them, and she didnt like it. He was also probably the cause of these vines. Just as the knives appeared in his hand, she waited before he swiped his hand, all the knives coming right for the group. Not bothering to move, she summoned up a decent shield of Nexus, some of the blades crashing into it and bouncing off all the while protecting most of the group, but some got by and aimed right for Toki who effectively hid behind a tree before trying to save one of the guildmasters and being dragged along with her. Melia had jumped in, helping the pair and keeping them both safe. "Shyillia, dont be sorry... You havent had a mission like this so I can understand..."
While Patty made up her mind about letting some others go, Kathy spoke because time was of the essence. "Right now, you all need to go..." Her tone was far more serious now and when she glanced at them, she nodded "Go...Dont worry about me...Worry when I dont come back..." looking back at their enemy, she noticed the mask which did make him look a little creepy.. Of course he found a mask... I'm going to have to do this another way then... suddenly, the Nexus shield moved from in front of her, to behind her, shielding her allies so they had a chance to flee. While her hand began to glow with Nexus, the cracks began to form on said-hand. This is what she was going to do to give her team as much cover as she could. Between the shield and this blast, it should be more than enough to allow them to flee. She aimed at the ground in front of her, blasting it with nexus as dirt pieces exploded everywhere and the dust made the smoke even thicker, preventing visual on her allies from the enemy. Her hood fell down from the blast and she was unharmed due to her own smaller shield from before the blast went off. However, as the dust cleared up, she wasnt alone with the enemy, because it seemed that some had stayed while others had gone. Looks like she wasnt going to be on her own after all. Though she wanted to do what she could to keep everyone alive all the while fighting the unknown enemy in front of them "Your life isnt going to get much easier from now on..." she said, her eyes narrowing
Serina stayed close with her fellow Lamia Scale’s members as they trekked into the forest along with the other parties involved. She followed Patty like a chick following a mother hen as she silently hoped that nothing would pop out of the woods. Well, maybe cute squirrels and birds can, but nothing else aside from that. The white-haired visibly trembled as they went further into the forest.
However, what transcended after made her eyes go wide as a scream escaped her lips. Vines started attacking their group, and some even managed to get a hold of her leg. Serina quickly snapped her fingers and transformed the sound wave into a razor sharp blast, cutting herself loose from the vines. Unfortunately, the abrupt action resulted with her landing face first against the ground, and thus, specks of dirt entered her nostrils.
“HA-HAAACHOOOO!”
Came her infamous sneeze which seemed to have reverberated throughout the whole forest as the neighboring birds began to fly away. Serina slowly rose to her feet while one hand rubbed the spot under her nose. Chaos Serina observed her surroundings before a smirk slowly crossed her features as she noticed Patty struggling with the vines.
“Oi! Guildmaster, stop enjoying yourself!” she exclaimed with a laugh before looking around to locate the source of the rowdy plants. “Where the fuck is the little shit?! Come out wherever you are! Don’t be a chicken!” she mocked from her position, stomping on a vine to emphasize her words.
Things gradually worsened as more and more of the people in their party struggled to keep the vines off of themselves. The next thing she knew was that it got to the point that they have to split the group. Serina huffed as she listened to the other woman’s suggestion. Apparently, she wanted them to leave so she could take out the bad guy. That’s a big no-no for Serina Oralee! She won’t let her have the spotlight to herself alone!
“Hell fucking no! I’m not going anywhere and let you get all the glory!”
she screeched before activating her Harmonia form. On cue, Serina’s lilac orbs burned gold as she began to sparkle brightly. Although she couldn’t provide much fire power in her current form, Serina thought that she could give the remaining people a boost. With that, the S-class pressed her hands on her lips, before outstretching them. Visible and golden kiss marks travelled from her to her allies, and if they don’t resist, then the marks would glue themselves on their cheeks.
Serina wiped her bottom lip with her thumb before smirking smugly, “Let’s get this show rolling, shall we?”
With that, the diva began to sing. Her beautiful voice resonating throughout the forest, and those who are marked as ‘Graced’ would be given a dramatic buff in terms of speed and strength, and they would also feel themselves regaining energy.
As the lifeless body of Praxis fell to the ground Lucius gave the mages a very slow and sarcastic round of applause from his place behind them all "Bravo everyone, bravo. You've wasted a large amount of magical energy on the beast but no it's master, and all you have to show for it is a very dead Sabertooth guild master. I trust this will be a tail you fondly tell to your children." The dark mage was about to be proved VERY wrong however as not only was Wilson very much alive but he was also able to perform quite the feat of strength. He pulled the side of his jacket up to protect himself from the cloud of dust which had come towards him as fallout and very quickly uttered "Ok... fair enough." the mix of irritation and embarrassment very apparent in his voice.
Lucius then shadow shifted down to where Wilson was, his intent being to follow the behemoth and observe the extent of his magical and physical power "I have to say, Mr Hunt, rather impressive. It's no wonder you are who you are. I'll provide you with any ranged support you need." Lucius then made sure to stay safely behind Wilson at all times because while he was interested in the giant of a man, Lucius had no intention of being caught in whatever the dark guild through at him.
Saria and Freida, Fairy Tail Hall
Both of the girls could tell Nevms was already having second thoughts. Good. Honestly he was of no consequence to them even if he did escape. Freida entirely doubted he was strong enough to do anything, much less able to get anywhere fast enough to alert anyone to their plot. Even if that wouldn't be needed, little did they know everyone knew already more or less. When his smile fell at noticing those around him being under her control Freida smirked, "Mmm...now...you see how pointless it is to try hmm?" She teased. "Run along now~" She cooed, waving him off.
In truth she was underestimating him in a way, though at the same time she did have the numbers advantage. They listened to him speak, requesting not to hurt him. "Of course, of course." Freida hummed, being honest with her offer to leave then and there. They had more than enough people anyways. Both girls laughed as he did indeed turn around to leave, watching the depressed boy head for the door. Honestly, who was he kidding messing with them alone? Both girls thought he was incredibly stupid for even attempting it. They were really none the wiser that he was planning on tricking them.
They only laughed harder when Nevms tripped and faceplanted, unable to tell he did it on purpose. Of course, Freida was far too distracted mocking him as well as not really expecting him to do anything to actually dodge the blow. It connected with full force, earning a surprised cry from her as it sent her crashing into a table behind her. She groaned softly, noticing the others attempting to struggle free from her control due to losing focus from the blow. Dammit! "Saria take care of the brat!" Freida growled, starting to sing again to try and maintain the spell.
Saria nodded, "Of course." She said. Saria moved near Freida, "Take this!" She shouted sending a sudden arc of lighting at Nevms. Though, she was unaware his magic literally gave him rubber properties, thinking that the fist was just some odd stretching making.
