My Interest Check
What are things that are weird, strange, or interesting about you. What things might people not know. What things do you assume people know. Well, whether people do or don't know, post fun facts about yourself here just in case.

I'll go first:

The Crossdressing part of my CUT? That's not referring to my avatar. I actually am a crossdresser.

I won't tell you my real name... But before I had my current name, my parents were going to name me "Ashley".

I'm pigeon toed, meaning my hips and knees are deformed so that my feet turn inward juuuuust slightly.

My nails are so thick and durable that they're a bit hard to trim.

I (used to) have red hair.

I'm a part of a lot of fandoms that people heavily dislike. Furry, Undertale, that sort of thing. I even designed my brother's fursuit.

I'm the only person in planet earth (or anywhere else) that hasn't seen Harry potter, or any star wars films. :closed eyes open smile:

The first time Lamiazo Lamiazo and I talked was because he hit me in the head with a finger rocket. Apparently. I don't remember this.
(We know each other IRL and we found out we both have accounts on here.)

When writing fanfics for animes I like, I always use the name Akari because why not.

I was told the birthmark on my side would disappear by the time I was 10, but now I'm 18 and there's still a little bit of it there.

I broke my thumb falling off a hammock. Like a boss.

My dad looks vaguely like the James Potter from the movies. Therefore, I am Harry Potter.

- I'm a stupid edgelord but try not let it show lol
- I've ridden an elephant before (but I don't remember it)
- I have a scar on my leg from falling up the stairs
- I'm Christian and I teach a class of kids at church on Sundays, they're adorable

x My sister and I have matching birthmarks. They're both on the left knee, and they look like a little elephant.
x I've been on my local news like three times. I don't know how, I just keep being in the wrong place in the wrong time.
x I broke my leg when falling off a regular scooter (not even a motorized one!) and I broke my arm doing a back bend.

At a zoo, a monkey stole my cup of juice and jumped me. It scratched me and the zoo gave me a Winnie the Pooh floatie for the incident.

I only like cheese when it's cooked in a dish.

Hmmm, let's give this a try

>I want to become an economics journalist. This choice comes after considering the kind of lifestyle I would like to live, and what kind of financial gain and time I would need to support such a lifestyle. It is also based on my primary interest (primary thing I would like to do professionally), writing, combined with the certain ease I had with numbers since little (which I would come to chase for my course, because journalist is supposedly easier to enter with a specialty that not journalism, accoridng to the research I did)

>My birthday is on the 9th January

>Costumes I wore back when I still dressed up for Carnaval included a mummy, an old man and something I can't remember

>My first pet was a bunny (I owned that rabbit, a canary, two mice, a turtle and a dog) which I got when I was lil older than five I think. It was named after a digimon because I was obsessed with it at the time. Eventually I had to part ways with the rabbit because I developed an allergy to the hay.

>I've done horseriding and swimming as primmary extracurricular sports. I loved the first, not so much the second. Had to stop though because my brother developed an allergy to the horses and we all quit so we wouldn't have to go without him.

>The first and I think only time I won a competition was during this time the "Beast Quest" novel series held a competition where people would submit ideas for a monster (each book was centered around one monster, and titled after it too) which would be featured in the series. I was super excited to contribute ideas of my own for it, so I had my parents help me get the submission done after I wrote down the most original idea I could muster at the time on word. Sometime later an email or a letter came back saying I was one of the winners and a prize shirt came with it. My entry if I recall was something called the "emotion skeleton" which led me to believe book 9 "Soltra the Stone Charmer" was the one that was based on my idea (with some tweaks of course)

>I used to be a huge bookworm, and if I have any minor degree of social skills I have my geography to thank for it. It was because they called me out in how I barely hanged out with even my own friends that I came to make an effort to better split my time between those hobbies and some bad habits that came with it, and actually trying to socialize with people.

>Series/books I have read include The inheritance cycle, Lord of the Rings (plus hobbit, silmarillion and a couple others in that vein), Song of Ice and Fire, first wave of percy jackson stutff, some stuff by Terry Pratchet, Portrait of Dorian Grey, Origin of the Species, my country's constitution (simplified) and I'll stop now or I'd be here all day.

>I befriended one of the people whom I consider one of my best friends today in a punch out. I got angry at him because he was fooling around in music class, and went to complain to him. He asked me if I was picking a fight and I snapped and said yes. We started punching each other. Obviously I barely did anything, weakling as I have always been, but after making amends and bearing a scolding together we started hanging out more and became great friends.

>Back in highschool one thing I did with small tight group of friends was reaching out to newcomers who just transfered in and didn't seem to be hanging out with people yet, then help introduce them to the environment there and make things more comfortable, until they were ready to move to less nerdy groups. It was in one of these attempts that I met the guy who would come to be a permanent stay in our group, and who was the one to introduce me to the world of anime and manga. At the time while I didn't say anything about people making fun of him, I tried to warn him to keep such things to himself so he would be spared from such. I was quite impressed by his non-challant "who gives a crap" attitude about it, as I found it extremely brave and even opened up the secret that I still liked digimon to him, which is what prompted him to recommend me to watch Madoka Magika, the first anime I ever watched.

>While I have never been in a relationship I did at one point have a crush. I never had the balls to say anything about it, and the farthest I got was finding an excuse to get her number and picture.

>at one point I attempted to run a blog called "the Pun Tyrant Times" (hence my "the pun tyrant" title). I never went very far with it though, but I do have plans to revive it once I have a more clear picture of what I want to do with it.

>The name "Idea" came to me when I was trying to think of a fitting name to call myself that was composed of a single word. I got the idea during the shower, and finished as fast as possible so I wouldn't forget what it was. My first online name was "Prophet".

>My first roleplay was the only one I finished, and I finished it by accidentally causing my partner's character to commit suicide.

>I have been working on my VRMMORPG RP project for several (some 3 or 4 I believe) years now. While there have been several lenghty breaks I do continue to hope to one day finallly finish and make a successful RP or even a successful hosted project out of it. That setting is my second most developed setting after Euphorium, a world that evolved from being a collection of my loose ideas into a full-fledged fantasy world and one of my favorites.

>I first began roleplaying in a digimon forum RP.

>My favorite [ ] is ...
Color: yellow
Food: Pizza or Chocolate
Animal: Wolf
anime: Re:creators
Manga: Only Sense Online
Genre: Comedy
Subject: Philosophy

>I consider my arch-nemesis to be relativism

Well, I'll stop now. I hope ya'll have fun reading that XD

ah! that sounds like it hurt.. how did you do it?

It felt like a cat scratching my ankle over and over. I ordered a stick and poke tattoo kit with all the necessary tools for safe self-tattooing. I definitely don't endorse tattooing one's self (lots of risks; plus you don't wanna end up w something... ugly), but I don't regret the one I did!

uhhh I like to watch thomas the tank engine from time to time and talk to myself in Korean

Aight... Mo' facts, shall we? Perhaps a little more in-depth.

- I kicked cancer's ass. Pretty proud of that one. I make it pretty widely known.

- I've been drawing since before I can really remember. Since I was old enough to pick up a crayon, anyways...

- My elbows can bend the other way slightly.

- My fangs are pointy, and the rest of the teeth behind my fangs are angled so that they look pointy, too.

- I've done much horse riding, and even have a miniature horse of my own which I got for Christmas. Gotta make the kids jealous, lol.

- I'm very afraid of sudden loud noises and/or lights. I know everyone kind of is, but I feel like mine goes a bit beyond normal. Lightning freaks me out, I had a nervous breakdown after shooting a gun in a gun range, I can't watch jumpscare-y movies, and the "fire alarm test" day is a day of hellish paranoia. Anticipation makes every noise 10x worse. I just can't take it.

- I'm a Mormon, despite all the joking occult talk and devil shows. I do believe in demons and the devil, they're just... Very far from the ones I portray, trust me. Heck, my favourite show is called "Lucifer" and stars Satan, himself. Still VERY far from the one I believe in, though.

- Favourite food is spaghetti. It's my comfort food, always and forever.

- I'm the most crazy chicken lady you will ever see. I own many chickens and love them with all my heart. Birds in general are simply the perfect animals for me, they make me so happy just by looking at them. From finches to chickens to ducks to pelicans to emus, they're all just amazing to me.

Wham-o. Thems some mo' fax fo' yo' face. Not that you needed them.

  • When I was little I got fascinated by swords and swordfights. I was reading a lot of books about swords.
  • As I grew up I somehow accumulated a small collection of replica swords. Nothing expensive, but they're just beautiful in my eyes.
  • The first thing that started that collection was a katana from Japan. Now there is more than one. And also some Chinese swords too.
  • By the same time I got my first replica sword, I was already practicing kendo and iaido for a while.
  • I brought one of my swords all the way from Italy by bus and train. It was... fun. Just thinking about the look on everyone's faces lmao. XDDD
  • When I cosplay, I usually cosplay characters with swords. But no, I don't use anything from my collection. I make cosplay swords that are allowed to comic cons.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings about swords. I could go on, but I will stop. :33:
