Just saw a lost dog. It was similar to ones I recognized and its collar looked ripped at the seams. It was just wandering about everyone so I tried keeping at distance while seeing where it went and checking if I spot anyone who could be looking for it nearby. Had to get back home after I lost sight it, but hope it’ll be alright. It is probably someone’s pet. I feel bad but not sure what else I could’ve done. If anyone knows anything else I could have done, I’d love to hear your thoughts so I can keep them in mind next time.

Just to be clear it’s not like I was expecting a lost dog to show up, especially not one of that breed (last I saw a missing poster was months ago and a completely different type of dog).

That awkward moment when you curse autocorrect and then realize it was your brain that autocorrected.

A few years ago, a prompt was issued in RPN for a mini-project, to follow Inktober. Since not everyone is an artist however, the prompt was to change one's profile picture each day to match the day's theme. I did that a couple of times and this year I will attempt it again.

An idealist - a sincere one anyways - will sooner or later be faced with the realization that there are more fights to fight than they ever could. That by necessity even holding steady to their cause(s) there will be many times when they simply cannot stretch thin enough to be in all of them, that they will have to choose between them. An idealist dies when they realizes far fewer are worth fighting for than would even occupy their time.
