Helsa Conversational

...Mmmm.

Ocaeril got memories of Original when he decided to give the world a little run around the globe, and simply stared with a half-smile and a little bit of sweat coming down his cheek. He was...Glad her smile wasn't an insane one, buuut...

...Ah, whatever. He has an idea, anyways.

"If that's the case...You can have more. IF!" With a big and wide smile, Ocaeril's sharp teeth almost seemed to shine. That was the same grin Helsa had, what the hell! "...If you come to occasionally to my place so we can talk about stuff and deal with your problems for, say, half an hour. Then you get a mug of coffee per session. How does that sound, eh, Hells?"

Was he making a mistake he's going to regret later? Likely. But he's a risk taker!

Helsa nodded so fast that her head outright became a violent blur. And there were definitely sparks of electricity coming off her head as she did so. This...was good?

Maybe?

"Good girl," Ocaeril said, patting her on the head almost by instinct. The pat wasn't very long, and he really only did it because he did it so many times with Inqui, his children, and even the Tailed Beasts sometimes. As such, he was a bit embarrassed by such, taking his hand away from her head soon after, and scratching his nose. "Now, let's, uh..."

...Ocaeril grabbed a random book, put on some fake glasses, and sat on his chair like he was some sort of psychiatrist, even doing 'the pose' with the crossed legs and all.

"Let's, uh, start our first session!"

...This was gonna suck.

Helsa proceeded to rapidly retrieve a chair and sit down in it, her arms still twitching slightly. She nodded once more, almost too fast for Ocaeril to even see.

This...this was definitely going to suck.

Farmer Joe Action 3:

Joe weaved his ways into the bureaucrats of the Empire and influenced their minds with his plants to start giving more control over the state to the Church of Joe. The bureaucrats after signing away their powers and responsibilities to more Joeist leaders, realized what they had done when it was too late. The bureaucrats found themselves out of money and power and influence as religion tied itself more into the state. The only things left were the royal family and the richest farmers to subvert before the Church would become the newest leader of the Empire.

After his political manipulations and maneuvers, Joe would infiltrate the ranks of the Inquisition for some years and have them lessen their hunts on magic and instead focus their efforts to eradicate foreign powers' influence like spies and such. Turning the organization into a more pro Imperial interests one instead of stifling creative magics.

Then he would inspire the RSEIK to weaponize all the floral matter they had access to, to create more medicines or weapons. Depended on the individual if they wanted to help the sick or increase efforts on mortality during battle. Chemical warfare were a favorite among the militant sects of the RSEIK with more gases being made and stockpiled away for future skirmishes. Other sects of the scientific society with Joe's help and memories of Conclavian agricultural techniques and technologies would innovate new ways to improve upon their farms like a combine. Thus creating more surplus and more to feed the growing population with less manpower, quite efficient indeed.

Joe doing his good deeds for the cycle went to terrorize some other world powers to worship him in festivals lest famine strikes. Always need more sycophants.

GM UPDATE:
___________________________________________________________________

He had little idea of where to start, being in the afterlife as he was. However, he had a sneaking suspicion that if anyone were to know his weakness, it would likely be his most fanatical worshippers. Zyr figured Kohona might be a good place to start, and if not that, then it was common knowledge that a sect of druids were in the service of Ocaeril. Perhaps they might hold the key to his destruction?

In response to the sudden attack, the immense sea-worm retreated from the sinking vessel it had attacked previously and began charging the larger warship, The cannonfire and magic missiles proved only slightly effective against the beasts carapace, most simply bouncing off and leaving only superficial cracks on its plated chitin. Clearly this was no ordinary sea-serpent, given its strange resistance to weapons that had previously proven effective against its kind. The hooks, however, proved slightly more useful, catching on the plates of the creature and hooking in, although the massive size of the beast simply led it to drag the boat along with it as it rushed past the ship, sending a spray of seafoam at the crew and rocking the vessel as it lurched forward. This however gave the demiservants ample time to leap onto the creature, ramming their bladed weapons in between the armored plates of the creature, polluting the waters around it with a viscous yellow blood. In response, the creature dove, spinning rapidly in an attempt to shake the demiservants off, and ripping a number of hooklaunchers off the deck of the ship along with a few crewmembers.

Tiamat, The Navigator: Action #1
Considering the new mess now, Tiamat first observed between the other pirates' scavenger hunt for treasure and possibly(?) the new shenanigans of the cycle before pondering... What would be nice to add for her religion? Supposedly, the idea of clerics, just starting with her own. As she made it to land again, she shrunk herself to be somewhat the size of a tall human, in her physical-origin forme. She then took flight and watched for the first church of Tiamat she could find, before making it to the door's entrance.

A few, gentle knocks were made on that door, and the priests(who shall not be named... yet?) who were meeting among several worshippers would stop briefly.
"Could it be?" One worshipper asked.
"It's best we answer the door. It could be a fellow worshipper, it could be a friend of ours," One priest spoke, walking through the room, before opening it with surprise. Tiamat was at the door. "... or, it could be our god!"
"Aaah, aaaaahhhhh." (Greetings, my children.) Tiamat spoke first, with a smile on her face. "Aaaahhhh aaaah. Aaaaahhh aaaaah..." (I'm sorry to disturb you during one of your meetings. I have something to discuss for this new cycle...)

The mini-Ocaeril with her would translate it pretty well for the worshippers and priests to understand, as they had allowed her to come to the front. She clapped her hands to form a paper, and took out the feathered pen from her hair. With her gentle aaa's, she began to write...
(I have a serious task to ask of you. As far as I've observed, There would be new types of threats. I wanted to request that you, my followers, my priests, that you will hold up several positions, all to different tasks.
The first position is obviously the Priest. Priests for a long time can stay as well, but to continue the generation of priests, you will train other committed worshippers to become priests as well. You will give divine blessings, speeches, and help with rituals. It's a simple, everyday task.
The second position are the Medics. Priests can apply here as they wish. It is similar, but you will also be helping with medical tasks. You can help assist others in process of birth, or you can mend to their physical and mental issues. You might be able to help others outside of this religion, given you're able to nuture them. It is a serious task for the well-being of the people.
Finally, the third position is if you really are ready for combat. They are called the Paladins and Clerics. You will be granted a blessing that will help you against undead and demonic enemies, should they arrive, and/or threaten our communities. Be sure you have trained well before you take up this position. It is a very serious and life-risking task. This role allows you to help others in battle as well, so you will give protection and healing to your allies.
This will be my Birth of Ideas, my Birth of Tradition. Any of these roles are ideal to my followers, as well as ensuring they are safe in dangerous times.
~ Simply signed, Tiamat.
)

As she finished, she looked to everyone around her, asking, "Aaaaaahhhh?" (What do you think?)
In response, those who wanted to take up the positions had aaaah'd in response. She gave a smile.
"Aaaaah aaaahhhhh. Ahhhhhh." (I will help my children begin their training for those positions then. The world depends on us.)

And so, training begins... and so the birth of those positions as they develop. That would be what the rest of the meeting is like, for now. They will not engage in battle just yet.

While Chakra normally didn't allow people to fly, other types of magic generally did. However, given the fact it wasn't very common in the Empire, or the West in general, many people just...Stared up at Zyr with either confusion, and maybe a little bit of amazement. Not many seemed particularly afraid of Zyr, although some mother's and parents were taking their children back inside, and some guards suddenly appeared- ANBU corps and Jonnin on the rooftops, keeping watch at Zyr. His strange appearence, and strange request. For a moment, they didn't say anything, but unknown to Zyr, a few that didn't show up went towards the Hokage's residence, going to seemingly tell him of the possible invasion.

Indra also stood completely hidden in the shadows, watching from afar, but his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan watching Zyr even from extremely far away. The Ninjas stood still, as a Jonnin, a high ranking Ninja just bellow the rank of ANBU appeared, seemingly more skilled then the others.

"Pretty wild request there, companion." The man crossed his arms. "You're not exactly the subtle type, are you? So are you a cultist or what? Why do you think we know something as specific as that?"

The Jonnin's mission was simple. Distract the strange new threat while the Hokage prepared himself for a possible battle, and sent a message to Ocaeril. Indra would keep watch, and try and stop the visitor in case anything happened, while other guards evacuated citizens away from the area. Of course, Zyr wouldn't be able to tell that. So far everything seemed normal.

/PLEASE! THEY’LL KILL ME!/

The Jonnin sighed, pulling out a cigar and smoking on it. He rolled his eyes, and massaged his head. All the other guards also seemed slightly put off by this, as Indra was considering just kicking whoever this was into a portal and keeping watch for any other cults.

"Okay, listen, buddy...We really don't know. We have Ocaerilian origins, yeah, that doesn't mean everyone here knows Ocaeril down to the bone. Maybe, I dunno, burn some trees? Piss in a forest? Throw trash in the ground instead of the trashcan?"

Other Ninjas were taking notes of this entire exchange, seemingly no longer seeing Zyr as a possible threat, but still drawing his face, his clothes, and overall demeanor down.

Someone mumbled something about wanting to go home. A nearby guard slapped that person behind the head. "Seriously, go out in the forest or something. They say that Ancient Elder Druids exist and they show up to certain individuals. Maybe you'll be lucky."

The Ninjas rose weapons and throwing weapons up as Zyr broke down in methane and black tendrils, but before the Jonnin had facepalmed and seemed ready to cast some medical Jutsu on him. But, as he transformed, he rose a hand up to stop the others, before a Ninja looked at him.

"...Sir, how long do you think it'll take for him to realize any particularly old and powerful druid will probably do?"

The Jonnin shrugged and smoked his cigar. "Give it a few days, tops. If we're lucky, maybe a week or two." The man shrugged, keeping his voice still low in case someone else was listening, before yawning. "Alright, everyone back to their stations. The situation got dismissed!"

Meanwhile, Ashura wrote a letter to his neighboring states and cities of a possibly dangerous cult seeking out forbidden knowledge from the god's-- Such as their weaknesses. He was self aware how silly and stupid the reveal of said cult was in his village, still unaware it was the 'cult leader' himself. But even so, he told them to not take them too seriously, or at least one of them, sending a detailed description of the strange man and his clothes.

He also made sure to let any passing Druid know, so he could tell them to their companions. Not necessarily Ocaeril's own, but anyone who used druidic magic would get it as a overall warning to be safe.

Ashura still couldn't help but chuckle at the report he received, though. He wishes he was there to see it all go down.

The well placed crumbling of a stalactite prevented any nearby vril from fully hearing the punchline of Original's song, which he sang as he danced down a staircase disguised as a Vril of some sort with strange blue-stained skin. Many around the staircase, constructed in the invented architectural style of the "Ancient Vril Empire", perceived the blue, dancing and singing blue vril as simply a madman, and they would be right in most sense of the term, however Original was here on business far outweighing the simple pleasures of madness, rather he had came here for a much more insidious purpose. As he walked through the city, he reached out into the minds of those who slept and plucked forth ideas he deemed worthy of saving for later, and replacing those ideas he found with those the hedgehog-god had obtained elsewhere, largely in his travels through Camelot and the Empire over the decades. He had picked up quite a few in fact, being the reveler and all, though it was not all purely stolen original ideas, some of the ideas he granted, specifically those more significant ones, had already been implimented across the surface world, and those which the vril put into practice would resemble cheap mockeries to all those who knew what they actually were. After having lived a small lifetime as a deformed hobo, travelling the First Light and transforming it into the knockoff capital of the world as he went, he silently vanished into a cloud of black pixels, singing a faint tune as he faded into his next adventure.

Meanwhile...

The first council of the System Lords was, from the perspective of the attendants standing just outside, a routine meeting of local noblemen, each ruling over small fiefdoms bordering the Holy Grain Empire, or the "biome" as they had begun calling themselves, and the lesser known but similarly significant Kingdom of Larion. The two "men" standing guard at the door and those within the chamber, however, knew better. Each of the nobles gathered around the table all knew eachother's true nature, and among their own felt no need to hide it. They were dopplegangers. All of them. Though how they had attained power varied among them all. The original eight had committed to a single kingdom, though they had since recruited far more scavenging dopplegangers to their cause and sent them forth to claim smaller fiefs. A few had disguised themselves as beautiful princesses or baronesses and married into powerful royal families. A few had worked in tandem to ensure a prince fled his homeland while his father was none the wiser, leaving his nation to a doppleganger upon his death. A few had abandoned subtlety altogether and simply murdered their way to the throne, such as Apophis, the first of the system lords and the self-proclaimed savior of her race. Her disguise was that of a duchess ruling a decently sized city-state just to the west of the Biomancing Grain Empire, though technically being a tributary of the larger Kingdom of Larion. Her form was, like that of most of her fellow system lords, corpulent and unwieldy by both doppleganger and human standards, largely due to extreme decadence on the part of the hosts, and as such she shed it as soon as the guards outside signaled the coast to be clear. They each sat, discarding their elaborate gowns and tunics which poorly fit their skeletal alien-like forms as they began their meeting. Apophis was the first to speak, her voice being decidely less like that of a man on account of having to put on the over-the-top accent of her host.

"Welcome! I am sure you all know the purpose of our meeting, yes?"

Another doppleganger replied, this one having impersonated the wife of a nearby lord so as to usurp his throne. It was humiliating, especially given the lord's growing desperation for an heir, but would be required until the poison finally took effect.

"It is the kingdom to the west, isn't it? Our kind now rule the bordering fiefs of Larion and the fleshcrafting empitlre to the east. I have Larion's best trading partner in my pocket and Setesh has an army the likes of which the king could barely hope to defend against. Not to mention that Zipacna already has already taken the title of Knight under the king of Larion. Surely you intend us to take their lands, one way or another?"

Apophis replied, though shot a nasty glare at Cronos as he demonstrated his utter lack of subtlety when it comes to saying things that would be less than beneficial for the doppleganger race, were a human to overhear it.

"Indeed... though we are not invading anybody. Larion is an ally of both mine and the holdings of Heru'ur, to take it by force would no doubt ruin our standing among the nations not yet claimed by our kind. This shall be done according to the new traditions of the System Lords, not military force."

Apophis tapped her fingers nervously. Admittedly this was still one of her first times meeting each of her fellow dopplegangers as a system lord. It felt like only last week that she had first been given her vision, the salvation of her kind by a benevolent God which made her kind in his image, and the others saw her as a bit of a prophet as well, regardless of the fact she had kept the true source of her revelation secret. Still, she took a deep breath and was relieved when Setesh spoke for her next in an appropriately hushed voice.

"I agree, the time for military force is not yet. Not when our kind are barely worth a single kingdom and when the beholders command all the regions to the north. If we were to make all our holdings be felt as one force we would surely be discovered, and the dynasty would fall. No, we must infiltrate the kingdom as we have our own holdings, though only one can become king, and we must choose that one now."

Apophis thought to raise her hand to speak, but held her tongue as Heru'ur spoke instead.

"Perhaps Zipacna? He already holds the king's ear."

Chronos interjected.

"And how do you suggest he take the king's place? Stab him in broad daylight and vanish the next day? Such a thing will surely be taken with suspicion. We must act less directly, though I will say this, the king must die for our plan to work."

Setesh raised his hand, but stopped as a somewhat younger doppleganger, Anubis, raised his hand and gained the attention of the assembly. His holdings were only that of a small walled village, barely enough for him to be called a System Lord, though he had arrived at this meeting for one reason or another. Chronos addressed him.

"Speak, boy."

*Ahem*

"Well, if I recall correctly, the king has a young son, correct?"

Apophis reflexively raised a nonexistent eyebrow.

"Go on..."

"Perhaps, Apophis, if you were to send Apep, the assassin in your service if I am remembering this right, he might slay the king and his son, and allow one such as myself to take his place? The tragedy would be so great none would suspect the king's son, a boy of only seven years to be responsible, and best of all they would never even know the son had died! Zipacna could manipulate my reagent as he pleased until my host form matured enough to rule openly, and our forces would then be enough to conquer perhaps the Biome itself..."

Apophis raised her other nonexistent eyebrow, but did see looks of approval begin to spread throughout the meeting hall. She spoke.

"I believe this ploy of yours may serve us well, Original willing. All in favor?"

The dopplegangers collectively raised their skeletal and slimy hands, though Chronos kept his down, shooting an octopoid glare at Anubis, who made the smuggest face a roswell grey could manage.

"It shall be done."

Somewhere, deep below the earth...
The sounds of gagging and strong winds could be heard through the deep and thick cavern system of the Underdark. It's been years since this phenomenon started occurring, and many of the intelligent occupants, principally the Vril, couldn't tell what caused it. Of course, 'ghost stories' and the possible threat of the so dreaded 'Umber Hulk' were some of the many theories involving the phenomenon. Few, however, had the luck, or perhaps unluckiness to actually see what caused it. But those who went deeper knew one thing- the sounds only grew stronger.

Far, far below the layer of the Underdark, nearly reaching the magma layer of the earth, but still, several kilometers away from such, a single tribe stood. One who has never once had direct contact with the other inhabitants of the depths of the world, aside from quick gazes and stalking. This race...Had no name. At least no given name by others. Speaking in a language none could understand, and sometimes not speaking at all, this young and at the same time race was known by their creator to be the 'Shadowkins.'

Hollow_Knight_Walkthrough.jpg

Their village was simple and rudimentary. Using the few creatures that gave a source of light to lead them to it- although never on it. The Shadowkin lifestyle made them have complete and utter night vision, being able to see through the thickest of shadows without any problems. Their huts, dug deep into the walls, forming various patterns to symbolize the owners, who had no name, aside from these simple and rudimentary patterns, originating from the cores from the depths of their own bodies.

latest

Despite being the most well-made and technologically advanced village from their more 'bestial' siblings, who took forms of monsters and abominations so impossible to describe one might as well paint random images on a canvas to describe them- They were still much, much far behind than any other civilization. Their forms and agility allowed them to escape from any encounters, often deeming them as 'cryptids' in the world. They couldn't speak. Their only weapons were their own bodies, and their means of reproduction was giving the essence of each parent to form a new core for the 'newborn.' It was all without any culture, no leaders, no history, no growth. They were stuck in an age without growth.

However...
During the dusk, as two Shadowkins each separated parts of their own body to create a new one, something occurred.

So you all wish to grow?

The mysterious voice seemed to come deeper- deeper than the village itself. It echoed through the caves, for all Shadowkin, bestial or not, to hear and feel. They couldn't understand these words. Yet they could feel what they meant. It felt like something even more primordial then them. Something that has been with them this entire time. And through that, they could understand in their simple-minded manner.

They all let out a bestial growl, sounding like a screech in a blackboard in an echo chamber. Yes, yes, yes.

I see...I'm sorry for not giving much attention to you all.

However...I cannot do anything now.

But...

Build a shrine on my image, so I can watch you all. I shall give you all the light of growth when I can.
The Shadowkin all felt the voice lowly disperse away, both going away into the wind and seemingly going deeper from the earth where they came from. The Shadowkin Elders of the village all roared and clacked, ordering the workers to all get to work. They dug deeper, pulling the most precious and shiniest metals they could find, all nearly useless to them before aside from creating a distraction, and even ancient cores from passed away villagekin.

They couldn't understand what the voice was, but they all felt deep down greatness inside them by simply hearing it. A deep inspiration growing and growing, making them think.

For such a great entity,

A great shrine was built.

It wasn't exactly what he expected, but it would do.

"WHERE IS THE SUMMON ABBESS ABBY?!"

Her response was not words but rather a roar from the depths of sea, the sea swirled around the monster in a from of a whirlpool, all the servants in the monster took this as a sign to teleport back to base.

Soon enough, a giant monster appeared from the depths, its giant tentacles wrapping across Meryl's spawn, it was so large that it towered above the monster, it roared its thunderous scream, it then sunk its sharp suckers onto the monster, sucking out its essence.

Meanwhile, on a relatively standard location on the world, that being...The World Tree, Ocaeril hummed softly. The cycle was slowly coming to an end, and things certainly slowed down, despite being so fast at the beginning. He already used all his available powers, talked to people, and gained a lot of new powers. Certainly, things went by fast. Although, as he stood on the top of a tree, eating a small apple, he couldn't help but look down on the ground, where the basket he made for Inqui, the one she essentially lives on now, stood.

A blush came over his face, as he reminded himself of yet another thing he wished to do. A question for Inqui- a risky one, one that has been nagging at him due to her constant calling him a certain name. Maybe a nickname would be appropriate- but it was one that he couldn't help but feel nervous and confused about.

Dropping from the tree, Ocaeril planted the apple on the ground to grow in the future, before slooowly going over her.

"Psst...Inqui? You're awake?"

"Psst...Inqui? You're awake?"
Sounds were heard from the basket, she slowly poked out from the basket and looked at Ocaeril.

"Po..yo? What is it...Hubbie?"

GAAAAH! TOO CUTE!

Placing a hand over his heart as if about to pass out, Ocaeril let out blush and little squeal as Inqui appearing, before giving her a pat on the head. "Good morning, good morning~ Sorry to wake you up~" Ocaeril said, suddenly forgetting what he was meant to say, but soon, it clicked on his head, as he blushed again. Okay, don't lose focus here, Ocaeril. She's cute, but!

Shaking his head, Ocaeril sat down.

"So...I wanted to ask, um..." He scratched his head in a bit of an awkward manner. It felt...Difficult to ask this. She even did it again! "Like, you, uh..." Ocaeril mentally slapped himself. "Ah, do you want, like, to get married? Wait wait, I messed that up- Are we already married? Um, sorry, you just keep me calling me hubby, so-- I thought like...Stuff..."

Inqui when listening slowly blinked.

"Wait...we're...not...married?"

Inqui's face slowly turned into one of flustered blushing panic, she covered her face that was blushing beet red with her hands.

"S-sorry! I-I thought married a-already! I like to get married! I-I mean...urmm, uhhh" Inqui simply opted to continue to fluster and blush

"E-Eh? I thought--" Oca said, stuttering a bit as well, blushing quite a bit too. "I thought-- the same...I mean, I've never been on a relationship before, I've only watched my children do it...So like...Haaah man! This is awkward! I'm sorry!" Oca said, trying to laugh a bit to lighten up the situation. "G-generally, to get married, we need like, a pretty ring, right? I mean, I want to get married as well-! But you'd have to deal with all my children and stuff, a-and you'd probably become a Mother of Life, unofficially, that is...So, er...Still up for it?"

Oca twiddled with his fingers, looking away. How ironic that 'the father' was never married, huh? "If you do...I'll see if I can find the prettiest, shiniest ring for you, okay?"

Inqui simply kept blushing harder, noticeably she blushed so hard it turned into literal glowingness, her face was as bright as a shining christmass tree.

"Y-yeah! T-thank you Hubbie!" She then awkwardly glomped Ocaeril from the back of the box.

With a smile as Inqui hugged him, Ocaeril patted her on the head, and soon put the basket on his back again, giving Inqui a small kiss on her cheek. The excitement was slowly coming over to him, over the fact he's slowly and surely going to get married! That's she's going to get a wife, and help to watch over his children! His life felt so happy, so...Exciting, right now! Wait- he has to let mom know! She'll know how to deal with this sort of stuff, right?

Tiamat would quickly receive a message from Oca. It was filled with babbles and confusing words, but she could hear the words 'me' 'Inqui', 'marriage' and 'happy.' While it could be taken out of context, it wasn't a situation where this was the case, thankfully.

"Okay! I'll go down some mines- maybe even check with some of my children to see if they have any pretty materials! C'mon, c'mon! Let's go out!"

With that, Ocaeril went out with Inqui on the world, sending out the notice of holy matrimony (literally), as well as seeking rare and exotic minerals for the rings. His first spot would be the Empire, then the Jade, then Konoha, then so on, so forth.

The captain gritted her teeth as she went to the voxophone.

The creature lurched back as it was gripped in the kraken's tentacles, throwing up its tail and sending a spray of water crashing down onto the ship, rocking it and again taking several objects not secured to the deck out to sea. The kraken's hooks proved largely ineffective, unable to pierce the hide of the creature but instead catching in between its armored plates, causing no harm to the beast but instead tangling it up to the point that neither of the two abominations could break free of eachother. The sea serpent diverted its focus away from the ship, now sinking its teeth into the kraken and ripping off tentacles whenever it could manage an opening. Meanwhile, the ship was rocked and was beginning to drift into the whirlpool as the two monsters flailed around wildly in the depths below, an inconvenient storm also kicking up and worsening the crew's control of their vessel. Meanwhile, as the two beasts struggled, the serpent's head briefly rose above the water before falling back below, and a telepathic voice rang out in the minds of each crewman of the ship.

"Is Tanya there? Her mother wants to see her."
