Space: the final frontier...wait, wrong franchise​

Anyway I think it'd be cool to do a RP based on warships in the Warhammer 40k universe. For this RP we'll be using a Dictator class cruiser. The cruiser is the main ship of the line and the class that is the workhorse in the fleets of the Imperium, going toe-to-toe with the enemy using their heavy guns, carrying squadrons of fighter craft and providing vital support to heavier-hitting battleships. During the Gothic War, Dictator-class Cruisers proved invaluable for escorting convoys of vulnerable Imperial transport ships through areas threatened by Chaos warships. A single Dictator with a handful of escorts proved an exceedingly flexible force capable of running down pirates and raiding hostile worlds with waves of attack craft.

Measuring around 5 kilometers from prow to stern, each ship is a city in space, a million-ton world-killer, a temple to destruction in the Emperor's name, home to hundreds of officers and thousands upon thousands of crewmen, not to mention hosting all the uncountable dregs of humanity living on the lower decks, gathering in their multi-generational communities, never setting foot on a world in their lives.

Nickname(s): Percy

Ship Motto: ANTE OMNIA ARMARI (Before all else, be armed)

Dimensions: 5.1 kilometres long, approximately 0.8 kilometres abeam at fins.

Mass: Approximately 29 Megatonnes.

Crew: Approximately 85,000 crew, 15,000 pilots and other support personnel.

Acceleration: 2.5 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration.




For this RP, characters on board includes:
Commanding Officer
Executive Officer
Medical Officer
Inquisitor
Space Marine Detachment Commander
Pilots

Or you can make up character that would make sense to be on board a spaceship in 40k universe. You can also have NPC to accompany your character as subordinates/servants.

it's available so people who wants to be inquisitor for the RP can be one, for now i don't really have plan for it tho so think of them as Political Officer on board

Would there be an Astartes Battle Barge nearby and the marine on board a representative of the chapter? Or is this like 1 company sent to assist?

i have managed to swing a necron cryptek on a rouge trader ship. They are only necron that would make sense given they don't truly belong to any dynasty and are free agents more or less. On an imperial warship would still be my main choice but yeah harder to swing.
