Fantasy uncharted land

Ben couldn't understand the language since the mage hadn't transferred such knowledge to them when taught them native languages of tribes and yansi. But he had a hunch that guards were looking for him using dogs to trace his odor. He felt cold sweat covering his body but all he could do was remaining motionless and soundless.

The foutsteps became louder untill they stopped and growled for a moment “EY!” exclaimed one of the guard “We small Yerass humen, Stoop dasharade!”

Ben would see two werecoyotes in dragon’s leather once they had sliced away at ben’s bushes “Ye be nasapamaa” said one as the other quipped while bearing his teeth “Nasa Haili Kola Slaveyee”

"Shit!" It escaped Ben's lips as he was so shocked by seeing a werecoyote and released his grip on bushes which resulted in his body sinking completely in the dirt.

Ben would now be completely buried by the mound of dirt as each breath invited more sod down his thoaght. If he was still all human, he would begin suffocating, but it would have certain neutrients that would the grains stick in Ben’s mouth like very bland tasting rice.

Ben who expected certain death was surprised that being buried was as horrible as he had thought. Yet he ket struggling mindlessly that took him deeper in the earth but luckily the was a hollow space underneath that gave in and he fell into it. After coughing out dirt for a while, he looked around into darkness not knowing if he was in the temple or a natural cave out of it.

[Index title: The dark unkown]

The cave was about two meters below where the deepest temple holding cells were. It was a natural cave that was pitch black and lacked any form of sunlight save for the giant gaping hole Ben had just created. Even the light from the hole would reveal a giant mount of dirt and displaced stones as voices can be heard from above “Arress hem new?” “Na, jus necrati corasal nakangli”

As soon as his eyes got used to the darkness, Ben started searching for a way out by touching the wall and going forward.

The wall is ridged yet grainy and would turn toward Ben’s left as everything gradually turned black and the sod ridden ground descended into solid rock.

(Ben wasn't walking on the wall, he was finding his way by touching the wall. Is he in a close area? Does the cell have a door.)

Ben had to follow the cave no matter where he took him so kept on going with short and steady steps. He was blind by darkness and had to feel his way through.

The cave would become wider and eventually the sound of running water can be feintly heard. The rock would become flatter with some stray stones jutting out from the cave wall.

Ben felt he had to be more careful with the stones sticking out of the wall here and there randomly but he was glade about hearing the water. He approached the sound carefully wanting to touch it to find the direction of the flow. By going against the flow of water he had a chance to find his way out.

The flow would move eastward, but the water is fairly deep as Ben couldn’t immediatly feel the floor of the groundwater.

Ben blocked the water by his right hand and felt it gather up in his palm so concluded that the upper ground might be connected the the cave somewhere at his left. He took the direction and checked the flow once a while. His aproach was slow since he had to be more cautios when his hands couldn't reach the wall.

There would be a narrow ledge of dirt right next to the underwater river. He would be moving in the opposite direction of flow.

After a long while of walking, Ben felt that the cave had narrowed. He pushed his body forward and dug some earth when passing wasn't possible.

more water from the river would be let in until Ben was up to his wrists in river water was let in as Ben’s digging reated a small crack in the earth that channelled water into the cavity that he had made for himself.

Before the pressure of water become too strong to handle, Ben stuck his fingers into the ground and pushed his head and torso out of the crack then flapped his arms into the water of river to pull his legs out.

The river would be flowing at a moderate pace as the higher pressure swept the dirt and stone away from the cavity linking it back to he main river.

Ben swam for life to reach the side of the river and crawl to the dry ground...
Once out of water, he laid back on dirt and enjoyed the sunlight that warmed him up.
