Look everyone is tweaking and flippin out. Jeod already had his midlife crisis like 8 pages ago. He's so ahead of the trends he's behind them. While everyone is going through their own crisis/character moment and development, Jeod is already done.

Watch this power shift! He's bout to be a main character!!! Story Arc almost as good as Zuko's!!!
 
Annabel: Not even bothering to deal with her companion's insanity. Even though, she is just as scared as them.
 
See once again Jeod is ahead of the curve. He gave up rooting for countries a long time ago! If all this goes to shit he'll still be fine no matter who's in charge!
 
So like what even is the plan at this point? Where are we going right now???
We regrouped and got our bearings in the basement. Found the basement contains some possible answers to what they’re looking for, and got away from a bunch of angry gaurds.

NOW. We have two-three wounded people, and something scuttling in the basement. At least two people are on the verge of death. Ultimately, the rebellion needs aid.

Now that the rebellion members have had time to catch their breath. They need to exit the basement another way. Get some aid and/or get to Aodren and POLITELY explain what occurred and why it’s not their fault, and then arrange some ground rules/terms for their stay. Try and negotiate.

TDLR; Get out of the basement through another exist. Find Aodren, get aid, turn the disadvantage of the dead beast in his library to their favor and try to sway him of some better terms. Before the group of guards finds them and arrests them.

Naw girl let's not ask the guy who imprisoned us and sent guards after us for aid. Let's figure out what the actual end goal is.

Aodren didn’t send the gaurds after them. He did ask them to make sure the royals didn’t leave the rooms, Mhm. BUT. The guards pursing them isn’t his doing. He’s trying to keep things under wraps after his outburst, and that, THATS not subtle. Aodren also puts on an obvious show before the nobility and court. Alone is different.

The rebellion got into the library to discuss planning. But to look for answers to the lack of knowledge on magic as well. That was interrupted. Now they’re injured heavily, but have discovered the basement holds answers.

They are in a very bad position right now. Nearly impossible. They have to turn it to their advantage.

The rebellion will have to pull together and plan for the few options they have now. All which will have to result in leaving the basement and getting aid but also fixing this before things get twisted, and puts them in a bad light. The group itself needs medical aid and time to recover from tonight’s events.

The rebellions main purpose to come here was asking for aid in the war. That doesn’t just apply troop wise. They ARE going to have to ask for help here and there and take a leap. Some things go well. Some things won’t.

TDLR: Recover. Pull themselves together. Figure out their plan of action, get medical aid. Get Aodren alone as soon as possible, now that he’s not pissed or seething before a court. Negotiate, not only on the terms for them staying, but for the fight ahead in the pits and future interactions, by using tonight’s events and others cards we have at our disposal. And to get whoever had put the guards on them, to stop the attempt for arrest.

Long run? Negotiate. Interact within the court. Find out the Council members secrets and befriend them. Investigate the basement for more answers regarding magic and other issues. Fight in the pit. Use the information garnered or the friendships gained to push Aodren and the Council over the edge to get the troops we need. And more that can’t be revealed yet.
