Dysons ears perked up and a few thumps could be heard due to his tail wagging in gratitude when his glass was refilled but the thumps ended when the neko spoke. either feminine intuition was very strong in catfolk, or she had heard about his drunken bragging last week. she could also be a psychic, i hear that ize clan has a bunch of them. he considered but what came out of his mouth was "Thanks miss, your probably right on both accounts, but alas liquid courage is a close second to solutions actual working." he grinned as best as his muzzle would allow before continuing. "say someone as observant as you would probably know a thing or two about the leadership here? which would you say is the most...benevolent of the different factions here?"

Akari nodded, after he started telling the truth he seemed to relax a bit but was still tense that she was pointing a gun at him. However the small kid appeared to be unfazed by the gun which was quite surprising considering the fact that it could probably kill her. Akari soon decided that these people didn't pose a threat to her and she wasn't in the mood to kill a child today, slowly still keeping an eye on them she lowered her gun and put it away. "That's fair sir, why didn't you just say that in the beginning"Xavier quickly realised he would have to tell the truth on this one. The look she was giving him let him know that even before she spoke. He cast a glance down at Amelia. He sighed and then rested his gaze back onto the lady. She still had her gun raised, better at him then at Amelia. Hopefully, if this went south, Amelia would do as he had asked of her. Would she still remember what to do? It had she forgotten? He made a mental note to remind her of this later; that is if they both got out of this alive. He shifted his staff in his left hand and nodded. “Indeed. We’re looking for people, as well as a place to settle down for the night.” It was the truth; he just hoped she’d believe his word.

Losing sight of her master for a second, three soft knocks alerted her to his location once more. Kiyo rushed forward toward the noise, only for the door to shut on her face. For a second, she stared at the door pitifully until she let out a small gasp as she was unexpectedly pulled through the door. "Master," the maid whispered, feeling slightly betrayed to be forgotten even if it was for a second.

*shinkado picks her up when she faints and carries her to her room. He lays her on her bed and pulls the covers up to her chin. He pulls out a pad of paper and a pen, writes something and leaves the pad on her nightstand. The note reads: (kiyo, you fainted again. when you awaken you should find me at my quarters where i will be resting. Hope you sleep well. -shinkado) with that, shinkado leaves the room and heads off to his own room*A blush floods Kiyo's face upon Shinkado's hug, her ears flattened again her head. "M-m-m-master!" she sputtered. Panic overtook her as it did whenever he touched her. Kiyo never knew why she reacted in this way, but she could never stop her spirit from floating out of her mouth. This time, her face exploded with redness before fainting in his arms.

*shinkados wakes up to knocking. sitting up, he stretches, his bare back popping loudly* "come in" *he shouts through the door*When Kiyo next woke, she found herself back in her room. She blinked once, twice before mortification flooded her. Did she really faint again?! This was the second time this month. Kiyo really had to wonder if this was okay for her health.
She rose from the bed, finding Shinkado's note on her bedside table. Jeez, even he acknowledged her habit of fainting. She sweatdropped before taking a deep breath. If he was in his room, was it really alright to disturb him? Kiyo had no idea how late it was. Her room had no windows due to the need for privacy so she had no way of telling how much time had passed.
Even so, Kiyo decided, it was better to see if Shinkado needed her before retiring again. Leaving her room, she made her way to the kitchen to prepare her master a light snack. If he was still hungry afterwards, she would prepare whatever meal it was at that time. She sliced up some apples and prepared other various fruits before leaving for Shinkado's room.
She knocked twice at the closed door and waited for his answer.

That went so well it was almost boring, Isaac thought to himself with a whistle. He tugged at the straps of his tattered, heavy backpack that was almost over flowing with stolen goods. Mostly it contained mechanical parts that were instrumental for robotic upgrades, along with some food supplies mixed in with them. The young boy found both of those things very profitable. However he only intended to sell the parts. Of course he dabbled with fixing and breaking machines but it was never his forte.
Isaac kicked a rock as he walked on back towards his base in the abandoned underground network. Rarely did anyone come here anymore due to the risk of cave ins, so it made a handy escape route for Isaac's raids. That was probably why the boy was so surprised to see another figure walking towards him. For a moment he thought it might have been a trick of light but no, it was definitely moving.
He paused, wondering if he should hide before quickly dismissing the thought. The person would have seen him by now. The best course of action would be to act natural. With that course of action in mind, Isaac plastered a wide, childish smile on his face while giving the stranger a short wave. "Hey there! It's a rare sight to meet someone else down here," he called as he walked before arriving a few feet in front of the stranger. Maybe it was that Isaac was so short (as he was still pubescent), but it felt as though they loomed over him in an eerie way. The dark outfit didn't help this feeling and Isaac had a strange feeling come over him. Not fear, so much as wariness. None of this showed on his face, Isaac was sure to keep his mask of cheerful friendliness plastered on tight.

Once she was safely tucked away behind him; he focused back on the girl who posed a threat. Although he had calculated that she wouldn't actually kill them if not needed.Amelia hid behind Xavier, grabbing onto his leg as he hid behind him, peeking out at the lady who had started the confrontation. She had no idea what the item she was holding in her hand was, having no clue it was a weapon that could shoot a bullet at them, let alone that she was from a clan. She had heard about clans but had never really seen hers, only knowing about smaller outside clans where people settled down here and there, not seeing the big ones the lady was in.

*shinkado smiles* "thank you kiyo. would you care to gave some?" *shinkado knows how little the female eats and frankly is worried for her.* "perhaps you keep fainting due to hunger"Kiyo entered, balancing the plate of fruits on one hand to open the door. "I hope I didn't wake you master," she said as she came in. "I brought you something to eat. If you'd like, I can start on your next meal whenever you're ready." She set the food down on the table next to, looking down at his sitting form with a soft smile.

Gauging the mystery person's reaction, Isaac relaxed slightly. It seemed that they (well the voice sounded male so he?) didn't offer any overt dangerous vibes, or at least he didn't seem prone to attacking him at the moment. He had met one too many berserker types not to be wary of the possibility. Even so, Isaac eyed the staff the stranger held. He noted the possible weapon and carried on in his usual cheery mood. "Yup! I'm just exploring, this seemed like a cool place yah?" He lied. Isaac learned that revealing that his hideaway was even close by was a mistake a long time ago, and wasn't about to repeat it.
The boy paused as he saw movement just behind the man. In contrast to the dark visage of the stranger in front of him, the movement an eye popping white. White strands of hair attached to a curious gaze. Another kid? The man seemed to be take a protective stance in front of her. And another woman was there as well. He just noticed her, which was strange. She was short, the same height as Isaac but in her hand she held a gun. Of course there had to be a dangerous weapon involved. He would have to proceed with even more caution than before and escape as soon as it was safely possible. In the meantime, he would have to establish some goodwill to avoid being shot in the back. "My name is Waldo, what about you guys?" He introduced, using a butchered version of his last name as an alias this time. Some people knew 'Isaac', so he didn't risk using his real name.
