Last night was pretty eventful, what with Cracker Jack having come in and nearly ruining Sass’ parade. Of course, today was a new day and Naomi needed to get her hoe-ness at work. She just about got herself all done up with some sweet silk around her body to boot when she heard furious knocking on her door.

Opening her stage door, she tilted her head when it was a fellow prostitute. She was practically incoherent, but what Naomi could glean from her hurried, frenzied speech was that there was a fog that was mind controlling people.

Should she help?

The woman was pretty distraught, so when Naomi eased her and told her to rest up and eat something, the woman nodded and left. With now a huge worry on her plate, the moth lady took her leave to see…

Oh my…

There were patches of fog and she could hear people screaming. The fog kind of terrified her, and it almost felt like she was going to get sucked into it if she kept staring at it. Fluttering her wings, she flew around, avoiding the fog as best she could until she could find someone, anyone to help. After a while of searching however, she landed on a building to get her breather, looking over the edge of the rooftop to find anyone who needed help that weren’t mindless zombies.

Katja was not sure how she had even gotten here, or where here really was. She didn't really leave the hospital as well she didn't have money and might be needed at any time. Katja didn't want someone to die just because she had gone for a stroll , the guilt would weigh on here even if part of her knew she shouldn't be blamed for something that could not be prevented. Still for some reason she had managed to go for a walk and got lost somehow. Katja wasn't sure how long she had been lost for as well given she had no watch. There was also the matter that zombies where after her. Katja had seen zombie films and prayed that no one ever made those movies real and yet here they were. Of course she had noticed the fog and how there seemed to be drunk people stumbling around in and out of it. Katja had known plenty of drunks and many despite it could be good people, or they could be violent, there was not telling. The drunks had been zombies in reality and Katja only realized it when someone had been dragged into the fog screaming and by the time Katja got close she had stumbled out moaning.

That brought her to her current predicament, running, well more power walking from what seemed to be the living dead. They weren't bloody and didn't seem to want to eat flesh, but well living dead seemed about right. The only good thing was they seemed to follow the rules of older movies and were fairly slow as Katja wasn't in the best of shape. Katja had managed to keep from getting captured and had seen more and more people getting attacked. She had also noticed something pink flying around. Katja had seen it once or twice before seeing it was a girl and she was helping people. Katja needed to get out of this and while there was guilt in asking for herself to be saved instead of others she scanned up high for the pink girl.

Looking to a roof Katja saw the figure though she wasn't close enough to be distinct, still Katja while moving relatively swiftly started to wave her hands to signal hey i'm alive please get me. She didn't shout as well Katja feared if she did she might run out of breath and get over taken.

Click, Clack, Click, Clack. Nacht's heels echoed through the marbled halls of the Lucifer estate as she slowly paced back and forth afront Lucifer's office. They were late. They were always late. When the sound of her heels was eventually drowned out by jovial voices in the distance, Nacht's pacing came to a sudden halt and her eyes sharpened like those of a hawk on its prey. With the snap of her fingers, two skeletal guards rose from either side of herself and moved to stand in the way of the children's advance, putting a distance of roughly five feet between them and Nacht herself. Waiting for one of the children to interject, Nacht immediately cut them off "You're late.". Folding her arms Nacht's eyes washed over both the twins, taking in their features before she spoke again, having completely avoided eye contact with Abolah. "You've grown again. Both physically and spiritually. Now if only you could all keep the time. Moloch, especially."
1656519703353.png
With the skeletal guards refusing to budge the children had but one option going forward "Moloch, Judica. Defeat these guards or face my wraith. The choice is yours. Should you take up the mantle and fail to defeat them though-" Pausing for a second Nacht actually began to grin, even if subtly "Fail and your father shall need to better discipline you." Having raised a finger The skeletal guards responded by readying themselves for battle, their heavy swords poised to strike at a moment's notice and jaws rattling to produce a sort of cackle.

Perched atop one of the buildings outside of Sassy Party's district was the teen hero Tom Creed. Keeping a watchful eye on the bustling morning streets below after watching the sunrise. His brother, James, being the clumsy dolt he is had somehow managed to fall off of Tom's 'heart-board' down to this building. Knocking his head in the impact, Tom had little choice but to wait for his brother to wake up from unconsciousness. So while James blissfully slept, Tom stayed up and kept his eye on their destination beyond. Tom thought a lot that night, thought a lot about the mission before him and he thought a lot about that night where for him and his brother, this whole thing began.

Drops of rain and blood fell at the feet of two crying boys. Bright flashes signalling the untimely end for their beloved mother and father at the hands of a common thug: then everything slows down. The rain and blood drops ceased to fall and the silhouette of a man appeared out of the moonlight offering his hand.

"Hywaaaarrryyyy-OOWWWIE!!" James suddenly sprang to life, shooting out of the blue cape of Tom's that he was using as a blanket and suddenly feeling the pain from his crash the night before. In a flash Tom appeared by James side, tugging at his cape to put it back on while helping James up to his feet "Don't be a baby!" he gave James a light slap across the face "Now focus! We're behind schedule, you haven't forgotten our mission already have you?" to which James responded by frantically nodding to Tom's disappointment "Of course you forgot...Well remember, it's OUR mission to stir up some trouble for the Sassy Party, and I--WE decided that the best way to do that is to go straight after the head honcho. Take out the head and the body dies." Tom spurned on while James continued to frantically nod as if he understood; though James' eyes would tell a different story...

In a trail of blinding blue and red light, the Creed Twins travelled swiftly over the rooftops and toward their destination of Sassy Party's headquarters in District 69. In a mere matter of minutes, they were hovering above the Sassy Party's headquarters. Tom's eyes sparked alight as he set eyes on the target and he nudged his brother to get his attention "Make sure you fit those 'goggles' on tight James...Things are about to get hectic." he said solemnly before cracking a wide smile as he raised up his right hand with his palm facing the sky; a flash of blue energy emitting from his palm, conjuring a heart-shaped structure of raw energy that gradually grew larger in size.

There would be no announcement, no introduction: the only sign anyone in the headquarters would have of incoming danger was the rumbling thumps of the growing 'heart' in the palm of Tom's hand. Growing to be roughly the same size as Tom himself before he unleashed it upon the headquarters. The heart floated wistfully down before blowing a giant gaping hole into the building with a violent eruption.

The twins gently floated down through the hole, the heart-board dissipating and giving way to the solid ground. As he always did, Tom was the one to lead the raid with his finger guns at the ready, and his mindset turned to kill-on-sight. Shooting anything that moved as he cried out through the corridors "Where's your leader!?!"

--------------------
It was a LONG night for the two embodiments, as they decided to first make their way back to the Judast Estate and report to Lucifer before carrying out their objective of dispatching the rogue Embodiments. At first, Moses accompanied Lady Pain back to the estate in complete and utter silence with not even the sound of his footsteps being present to break the peaceful quiet. That is, at least, until they came into view of the estate's grounds and Lady Pain had proposed to Moses a question. The question required only a simple yes or no answer, but beyond normal comprehension, this somehow broke the seal to Moses unloading his entire life story upon Lady Pain: who was about to experience a form of pain that perhaps not even SHE had thought of...The pain of tedium...
"I was told that I was born under the light of a full moon on the seventh day of the seventh month..."

Thus began an excruciatingly long and overly detailed recount of Moses' entire life's story. About the land, he came from, how he has driven away from that home to Hell City, how he first met Jackie at Hell City's 'Insititute for Unwanted Children', a sort of 'social experiment' conducted by Lucifer under the disguise of an orphanage and boarding school for children who have been abandoned. He would also tell of how it is Lucifer saved them, how one day he simply arrived and took away all their problems with little more than the snap of his fingers....Moses would simply talk for hours and hours on end, and before he had even begun to finish the long story of his life the sun had risen and they were both standing in front of the gates to Lucifer's estate.

"I sometimes wonder what would of happened if my brother chose differently...Not that it would ever make a difference...Nothing ever makes a difference...And that's-oh...We've already arrived..." after hours of constant talking, he was finally distracted by the fact they had reached their destination, and now all that Moses could think about was being in the presence of the only thing in existence that gave him some slither of meaning or purpose.

They were late. They were always late.
Judica gave Nacht a tired look, before snapping her steely gaze back at Moloch and nodding in agreement with Nacht "We might have arrived on time if HE had the ability to focus on something for more than five seconds." to which Moloch pouted mockingly at his sister and adding on "Oh, I was just having a little fun with our precious Abolah - don't you agree, little sister? It was worth being late wasn't it?" he cooed, but Abolah did not respond and instead just giggled gleefully. Perhaps because she knew what was about to happen.
"See? I told you she wouldn't buy it, now look at what you've done...Why this family still accepts you in these halls I'll never...Whatever, let's get this over with." Judica grimaced as she started rolling up her sleeves in preparation for the fight that was about to ensue. Moloch on the other hand seemed hardly unable to contain his excitement, seeing this as his perfect opportunity to show off in front of Nacht and reveal the progress he'd made since they last met. Wheeling Abolah out of the vicinity before hopping right over her and joining Judica's side with a toothy grin "Oh it will be my pleasure to accept this challenge, Nana! I'll do my best to make you proud~" Moloch said playfully. Pressing the base of his choker, causing the 'harness' running down his torso to hook themselves into his flesh. As the vessel activated, his veins bulged and the blood rushing beneath would glow a vibrant crimson. Baring his 'fangs' at the skeletal warriors, which were actually artificially structured to be like the fangs of a storybook vampire, and the same applied to his modified fingernails that acted like razor-sharp claws: perfect for flaying.
"I'll start this off shall I, big sis!?" Moloch cried out as he rushed forward to one of the skeletal warriors in the image of a blur.
"Doesn't matter if you start this Mol...Like always, I'll be the one who has to finish it." she said as she too rushed forward toward the other skeletal warrior, notably slower but where she was lacking in Moloch's speed, she far exceeded him in brute strength and martial skill. Stopping midway to take out a meagre coin, and rolling it between her fingers before flicking it at the skeletal warrior with force akin to a shotgun blast.

Meanwhile, Moloch opted for a much more up-close and personal approach, attempting to use his raw speed and sharp claws to unleash a series of furious swipes against his target whilst constantly moving to avoid making himself a predictable or easy target to hit.

Lady Pain wasn’t expecting to walk into a long story of Moses’ life. However, upon seeing the estate and asking if Moses felt better being near Lucifer’s grounds or walking upon them, he broke. She watched with bemusement, but the tedium of his life story surprised and annoyed her. She didn’t expect for him to tell her what moon he was born under, let alone even the day. However, while it was painful to listen to - even more so considering this wasn’t the type of pain she really enjoyed and it seemed to be helping him or something - she learned quite a bit from his life. Specifically how it pertained to Jackie. The two were rather close and she was starting to dread ever finding Jackie with Moses in tow. Six, maybe, but Jackie? She felt like it would spell doom for Moses, given that the only people who have been there for him or helped him in some way - by giving him an attachment - were Lucifer and Jackie. And Jackie was before Lucifer.

Oh boy…

While doing her best not to tune him out, they finally stood at the front steps of Lucifer’s estate and she never felt more relieved. She chuckled as he realized and she clicked her tongue, giving him an amused grin that hid the psychic damage he dealt to her for several hours.
“Yup, we are. Come on.” As soon as she walked into the estate, she saw three kids fighting skeletal knights with Nacht supervising and mentoring them. How cute.

Of course, she wasn’t too keen on the kids. She simply waved with a bit of a smile towards Nacht, before looking at the way the two kids attacked the knights while the wheelchair-bound child watched on. She looked specifically at Moloch, who was the more wild one, and smirked. Knowing Moses would just walk on through and use his powers, she walked on Moloch’s side of the field, passing the wild fighter a little too closely as she did. As per her usual.
“Glad to see Lucifer’s kiddos are here and raring to fight. Moloch…” She sighed out of exasperation, biting her lip to suppress a growl as she felt his claw swipe at her forearm in his attempt to hit the knight. She merely lifted up her arm and licked up the blood that trickled down her own wound, the taste of iron calming her irritation. “I suggest you find some accuracy with your wild swings. Go either unorthodox attacking or be accurate. You’ll hit a lot more than you miss, or you can direct your opponent either way with your misses. Good job, as usual, Judica. But give your brother some slack, he’s at least trying. Your personable skills are lacking. At least fit a compliment in there before you start insulting or throwing shade.”

As if they’ll listen.

She turned around as she passed the knights and smiled at the wheelchair-bound kid.
“Nice to see you, too, Abolah.” She then looked back at Nacht. “We shouldn’t be bothering the devil himself too long now. Tah-tah~.” In a sing-song tune, she finally made it to the door and began finding her way upstairs, her face growing weary and she sighed with exasperation. “Ugh, kids…”

She walked along the very well known path towards Lucifer’s office, figuring he might be there. Or in his chambers. But she very well knew he was in his office.

Another uneventful day for a bartender. Everything was just going into a routine. The only things that fell out of the usual were just the customers who had a bad enough grudge against her by tailing her and then attempting to exact their anger. Some were successful, most failed. The bar didn't really have a dress code as it was one of those independent bars owned by just one guy. It was a gathering for criminals and the like to hang out. There would be the occasional fights that break out for no reason but it would resolve itself without her getting involved. As long as the counter or the drinks behind her weren't damaged, she didn't have a care what happens to the other furniture even though the damages would be on their tabs.

Yona soon finished her shift without much else going on the rest of the night. For some reason, she just didn't feel like sleeping. Mostly because she slept during the day and she usually has the night shifts. She just gets paid whenever she works since the bar is just understaffed as hell. What started as her drinking away her sorrows and worries from her loved ones back home, turned into a job to drone the night away. There were only a handful of regulars that she liked serving when they came to the counter. Just as many as there were undesirables that she would rather tell to fuck off once they got their drink.

She decided to take a stroll in the Factorio District. A little exploring never hurt. Of course, sometimes venturing in the wrong areas could hurt like some mafia's turf or the like. Criminals and thieves were everywhere and were ready to do something. Especially at this moment. Just as she had walked just a block into the district, a random man launched himself from behind a wall onto her which caught her off guard. She expected that she could be attacked at any given moment, but she didn't know it was going to be right there. She fended him off her with some effort but it didn't look like he was finished. Plus, he pulled out a knife. What a sad sack of shit. Pulling out a knife on a defenseless girl. She was getting ready to attack as well. She really wanted to break his fucking arm and nail him high on the wall with his knife. It's too bad she's going to have to buy some new clothes again.

There was someone, or something hunting them and while it annoyed Icarus to his very core, he felt that he had little choice but to make a slight change to his initial plans of regrouping with Baron Bizarre and the Arbiter of Death to instead follow up on tracking down and assessing the threat. The only place, he could do this was his personal haven and centre of operations. Icarus & Alistair catching a ride to District 17 where he'd lead Alistair into some back-alley street.
"You know, you should feel honored: you're going to be the first person I've shown this to..." Icarus said almost reluctantly, before mumbling under his breath "I better not end up regretting this..." as he moved a nearby dumpster to reveal the hatch of a manhole leading underground. "Keep close and don't touch anything.." he said before hopping down.

Down the hatch was a single corridor leading toward a sealed door with blue lights activating and scanning the room the instant Icarus' feet hit the ground.
"IDENTITY CONFIRMED: WELCOME HOME."
The sealed door opened by itself, and gave way to the both of them to go inside that was essentially one large wide-open space filled with rows of computer nodes all connected to a central super-computer in the middle of the room. The only signs of this place being lived in were a small corner in the room where Icarus slept on a mattress on the floor amongst a pile of trash.
"So whaddya think? May not look like it at first, but this right here is the god damned fountain of knowledge. Nothing in Hell City happens without this baby knowing about it, and what she knows, I know."

Moloch and Judica Judast. Twins born to the Judast name and raised from birth within this broken city. The blood that flowed within their veins was mortal but even diluted the dormant power that blood contained was nothing to scoff at. Though Nacht knew that well, for this was not the first time, nor would it be the last, they'd been tested by the primordial. Straightening her posture and folding her arms across her chest the woman observed carefully as the two launched into action, assessing them. Judging them. Pondering how much they possibly could have grown.

Moloch was of course the first to act, with a temper and trigger finger akin to his father from millennia past it was no surprise. Alas, he also shared his father's past overconfidence in raw strength and that would end up getting him in quite a lot of trouble, both in terms of his opponent and the scorn he had earned from hitting the passing Lady Pain. Hitting the hard armour and bones of the skeleton with a slashing attack caused little to no damage at all. The strength and sheer amount of attacks alone had indeed pierced and torn small scrape holes in a portion of the armour but it had only chipped the skeletal structure of the monster who immediately retaliated with a firm headbutt in an attempt to stun the man before bringing its heavy sword into an upward slash. Chattering its jaw in a taunting manner.

Judica on the other hand had far more success in her assault. Her well-timed shot and focused damage shattered the skull of the skeleton and thereafter her action sent the monster as a whole crumbling to the ground in a mass of bones and armour. A quick end to her test and all the more embarrassing for Moloch who, having studied necromancy, should have known better had he really thought it through.

After nodding in acknowledgement to the passing Embodiments, Nacht returned her eyes to the battle "Judica. Impressive work as always. I'll spare you an endless revival of the thing seeing how well you managed to fend it off. You've grown stronger, your father will be pleased." Pausing for a moment to allow her words sink in, Nacht turned her gaze to Moloch who was still busy fighting his opponent "As for you Moloch. Did I really teach you the secrets of the Necronomicon? I could have sworn I had but perhaps after all this time, my memories have begun to twist into one another. It must have been someone else, for even a novice knows to go for the head... with a blunt weapon I should add. Though that may be too complex. Tsk! Honestly!"

Turning to Judica Nacht continued "Your father will now see the embodiments. Your scheduled appointment has run over. Though both your Father and I expected this and so you shall join me in my own time slot and I shall allow you three to talk with him before I give my report. This is a kindness. One you shant be granted ever again. Next time you are late I will subject you to the 'basement' for no less than a day per minute late. You are all adults now, start to act like it."

"And welcome home"

As Raphael stepped foot within the Factorio District, he realized this was far above his paygrade.

The city was a mess. The buildings were shelters for people as much as the EMP-protected factories were shelters for the rogue AI. Walking more into the district, he can see some factories had walls around them with soldiers and everyday citizens doing what they can to keep the onslaught at bay. He pulled out a reader that he brought with him before he left and turned it on. Scanning the air around himself, the remote activated and, as if it were a geiger counter, it clicked incessantly and the gauge nearly hit the end of the sensor graph, letting him know just how filled the streets were with electromagnetic radiation. It wasn’t harmful to people like him or those with powers, thankfully.

Just damaging everything electronic. Thankfully, his tech was at least capable of handling the EMP’s latent effects. But with this much radiation, it was almost as if there was one huge bomb that went off or several. Tenzin was acting strangely and he pet the falcon’s head. He nodded his head up and the bird took flight from his shoulder, before circling around and going back.

Just as he was about to step foot closer to one of the buildings and ignoring Tenzin’s flight direction, he heard a scuffle behind him. Turning, he saw a woman being attacked by a man with a knife. He would normally just leave the two at it, but that woman… Whether he wanted to admit it or not, she was charming, but there was also something about her. He pressed a button on his cane and it began to expel mist, the wooden exterior popping up and the segments hiding back up to the cane’s handle to reveal recesses of an ice generator and a sword’s blade that he twirled in his hand, creating a circle of mist in its wake while Tenzin cawed and circled overhead.

He walked towards the fighting duo, then shot forward with surprising speed given his appearance. He didn’t have his signature large coat as it was too warm, his tail aiding in his balance while his snow leopard ears perked forward to catch anything that his eyes didn’t. Dragging his sword on the ground, he twirled it, then shot it forward, a trail of ice coating the ground and encasing the man’s feet.

As Raphael got in close as soon as the man’s feet were encased - having used his lunge and run to now slip on the ice with deft flexibility and agility - he brought his sword back and struck, sending the sharp blade into the man’s chest as the man turned to see who was going to bug him now. Blood leaked down the blade before freezing as Raphael looked upon the man’s face with amusement and a sick, twisted grin of delight upon seeing the man’s pained expression. Raphael spoke, his words shooting warm venom.
“Maybe don’t mess with a woman when a gentleman is nearby.” The hand holding his knife was about to shoot up and aim for his head but Raphael, who was leering inches from the man’s face, pulled his head back and locked his arm in place, continuing his gaze of the now afraid man whose light in his eyes began to die.

Seeing and reveling in the loss of life, he pulled back, the sword pulling out of the man with a sick squelch, the blood having frozen on the blade upon impact. With a few swishes and then a slam on the pavement, the blood cracked and fell off. The cane’s exterior popped back over the blade and the icy generator, looking like a cane and as if he didn’t just stab a man and watched him die with glee.

He looked at the woman with a smile unlike the one she probably saw of him, then he bowed with one arm over his stomach before standing back up.
“Raphael Sorel, son of Mr. Sorel of Hearth Corporation. What are you doing here, miss? There’s AI trouble and desperate people wanting to survive. It’s not a place for someone such as yourself to be running around in. Then again, this is Hell City after all. However…” He thought for a moment before his voice became serious. “You may be able to help me. This mess-” he gestured at the district at large. “-isn’t fit for just one person to fix and I don’t think anyone over there is going to help. Given you have combat experience, you can start repaying me. Despite my earlier comment of how I'm a gentleman and chivalrous, I still am a business man. Given I'm the only one told to help this cesspool of a district, I'd appreciate the help. Now or later.” He then shrugged, as if his proposal to pay him back didn’t matter, yet his voice was incredibly serious when discussing it. Then, his voice became softer as he regarded her with kind eyes unlike the sick glee they held earlier or the hardened gaze he had when discussing business. “Unless you were just going home. If you need, I can take you there. Protect you if need be. Despite what I said earlier, I don't consider escorting someone back home something that needs to be repaid. You look like you had a long night anyway.”

The district was odd.

While things were matching up to his records of the present, some of the visual data O.V.R. was receiving of the district’s current state reflected past events and records he had within his memory files. Strange. Odd.

He didn’t know how to move forward, however he decided to continue. Whoever was that threat he sensed earlier from the drone, they were a part of the Heroes Guild. He needed to find the HQ, then find whoever had sent that threat.

As he crawled along the rooftops, appliances and devices were dropping from the sky like rain. Looking up, there was a pulse that rippled space before a sudden item was hurtled at him. He jumped away and skidded to a halt, only to see it was a fridge, the model from fifty years ago. Looking at the sidewalk, he saw a man walking down the street, yet this man was reported to be dead years ago. Then the imprint of the memory upon this place vanished, the man fizzling out of existence as his mundane phone call ended. Even the clothes he wore were even from a further time period. Eighty years ago.

O.V.R. decided to take it slow, meandering his way through the district to find the headquarters of the two he killed and the one he sensed. That’s when he heard a commotion. Looking down from the rooftop he had just climbed on, he saw a familiar face. The black-haired man slapped the man who held a shotgun to his back, went into the candy shop to eat… and eat… and eat. Only to come out looking at least six times his size and step on the man he slapped as he left.

Known For: Eating exorbitant amounts of candy to reach 60 feet and 600,000 pounds, uses candy as fuel, strong, Slap-Fu, sumo wrestling, resistance to ingested poisons/venom/toxins
Threat Level: High
Proceed with extreme caution!

However, as O.V.R. attempted to scan the organs, something went awry. It was as if he was getting conflicting information from different sources five years, ten years, and even twenty years ago. This, logically, must be a memory.

He followed the lumbering figure of the candy fiend all the way to headquarters.

Finally, he can get some answers. Given he doesn’t get ambushed. His sensors were becoming less and less reliable as he continued, the sensors picking up on memories of the place before they disappeared.

Cirillia had absolutely no idea what was going on with Juan. She was unfamiliar with his powers on a whole so ultimately she just assumed it was some form of regeneration. It made the most sense after he got shot like that, didn't it? What was entirely unexpected was for some woman to appear and usher them down an alleyway, seemingly promising safety. What did they possibly have to lose at this point? Between a group of thugs aiming guns at them and a woman seemingly alone the odds of which they could beat down if need be was quite clear! If Cirillia was alone she'd just outrun them with relative ease and never show up again, provided they didn't have any fancy tech to catch up with her or such. She was quite certain San would do the same! But they'd come this far with Juan, she kinda considered him something of a friend. Plus, he still owed her a window! Even if odds were looking rather down on her getting a window currently. Regardless once they were somewhere safe she really did need to find and check on her poor bunnies and feed them too! She hoped they were alright...some of her regular customers might have even tended to them for her. After all, several prominent people in Hell City enjoyed the Cafe from time to time so she wouldn't be surprised....she shook her head a little to try and steel her focus on the situation at hand. Bunnies later, outrun bad dudes with guns now!

She studied the tall feline woman as they followed her, ears twitching about as she tried to gauge where the men were as well. It seemed they had lost them entirely. This was good. "We aren't getting rid of him." Ciri insisted as the cat tried to convince them of such. No way was she just going to toss Juan aside even if she was a little put off by the glowing and growling herself. Something was up but surely Juan would be fine. The man survived a bullet to the head after all! It also seemed they were in somewhere called the 'Ridden City'? She'd never heard of it...not that she could recall anyway. She pouted at the exchange between Merkal and San, with Merkal calling them foolish. "Hey, we were only there because he was trying to get my window fixed. Besides. I don't even know who those guys are really, and I didn't think they'd be there soo..." She spoke poking her tongue out at the woman. Sure, Ciri was often foolish, but she didn't like being told that!

She grew silent afterward for the time as they now reached a spot called 'UnderDark'. Of course, that just made the poor bunny even more confused. She didn't say anything about it and watched as a frog gal named Cathy approached them. She seemed rather nice even if she was a bit spooky! "We'll behave." Ciri assured them all, following Cathy with San. Once in their room, and upon being given the walkie-talkie, she nodded and waved at Cathy as she left them to their own devices to rest after that experience of theirs.

She helped San carefully lay Juan on the floor once able and let out a small sigh as she plopped onto the ground. "Hnnn....why does he have to be so heavy!" She whined. The poor bunny's strength lay pretty much entirely in her legs. Theoretically, if they had had time they could have put him on a cart and she could have dragged him here...but well, that was neither here nor there. Either way she was just as exhausted as San was!

She glanced to Juan as he finally stopped glowing...though had a really grotesque oily black appearance. "Uhhhm...why are you-" She began to speak, though before either her or San could really say much at all he sort of just bolted off out of a window into the darkness. She let out a heavy sigh as San looked at her, "It's probably best to just give it some time. I dunno how his powers work. But with him looking like that, he probably needs some time on his own." She spoke simply. While she wasn't always the smartest bunny in the room, she had enough experience in Hell City to know things were pretty fucked up and people's abilities could be pretty fucked up. She just assumed it was all part of his regeneration process.

"I'm gonna nap." The bunny spoke simply, moving to find a comfy space to lay down in while San went to get food. She was asleep quite a bit before San left and remained so even when she returned and woke up. The way she slept though wasn't quite right...her breathing was heavy and she was letting out little whines. If one looked closely they'd see she was a bit pale looking too. In all likelihood, she'd overexerted herself and used too much energy the day before. She remained asleep, likely due to her current state and not her being tired. Her bag was nearby, open on its side with a piece of her candy having fallen out and resting in front of it.

After feeding the black mass known as Dog, Shiro headed home. Though it seemed the big ol' fella had taken a liking to her and wanted to come home with her! Shiro was a little wary at first though those big puppy eyes won her over pretty quickly. Besides. He just seemed like a poor misunderstood mutant dog that needed a good home! It could be pretty fun having herself a pet around the house too! After all how much more hassle could it be taking care of Dog and herself? She had the space for sure. She could set Dog up his own apartment room if she was so inclined, though at the very least she would clear out part of a room all for himself so he'd have a comfy space to stay.

She showed Dog around the building before promptly falling asleep with her new furry companion, all snuggled up in the bed with him...though, it was more her laying on Dog really. He was really quite large and took up most of the space! Even still, she was comfy, and didn't mind one bit.

Come the next morning she was still fast asleep in bed. Yet her peaceful slumber was likely soon to be broken by a certain Dog.

Yona was taken aback. She didn't need help as she could've handled it on her own, but help was always appreciated. However, there are such things as taking it too far. Instead of just apprehending the aggressor, this man just swooped in out of nowhere and outright killed the guy. Sure it's Hell City but come on, if you're going to act like a gentleman towards a woman at least don't do something so unsightly. All Yona can do is just be thankful she's not getting a couple more cuts and a ruined jacket. She stood idly but still on her guard. She was still cautious around this Raphael, considering he just killed someone right in front of her and that he's the son of a corporation and is asking for her help.

"Thanks for noticing but I believe helping you for such a favor would make my night a little longer." She said. "Now you mentioned AI trouble and you need help with this district. This is quite a small favor you've done for me and I have to go and handle a wide area. To be fairly honest as well, I didn't really need your help nor do I need you to escort me home." She then took a few moments to ponder her choices. She did want to avoid this person as much as possible at the moment but she also wouldn't mind any money as well. Given that combat was a part of her career, trashing some AI wouldn't be too much of a bother especially someone of her caliber. But if she was going to spare some labor, she would need sufficient pay.

"How about this, I can help you with your little AI problem. But I would like some money in exchange. I don't want to sell my labor cheap and I don't even have a gun. Unlike you, I don't got any fancy magic. I'll need a weapon." She offered. She wasn't expecting this deal to be successful since she is not really in the favor of this transaction. "But if you don't like my offer, you may let me walk away untouched and the same for you." She said as she crossed her arms, waiting for an answer. To be fair, an AI problem running amok in a district could spread to other districts. She would rather want this dealt with as fast as possible so it doesn't affect her carefree life of dealing with the least amount of bullshit possible.

At this point, Raphael had realized his mistake. He would have been upset that this woman, who he saved, clearly had a problem with how he handled it, however he realized he stumbled upon someone who had... Somehow kept their morality in a city like this. Which, the city itself was as large as a continent, so all walks of life with codes were possible.

Either way, this did leave him imprinting a sort of ugly impression of himself on the woman and he cursed at himself for it. He looked off to the side as she chastised him, scratching the back of his head. If she weren't a woman, he'd have said some very unsavory things, but given he didn't want to mess up his only chance at getting help nor to mess up having a possible ally in a city like this, he decided to be nice. For once.

She was rather aggressive in how she spoke her rebuttal to his help, but then she offered for a price. He finally looked at her, his gaze sheepish.
"Ah, I... Regret not taking it easy. Especially since I didn't know you were one of those people who somehow have kept their morals somewhat good in a sense. Especially in a city like this. Around you specifically, I'll be sure to keep myself in check." He was at least considerate in not making her feel even more uncomfortable around him. Tenzin, his falcon with a bandanna around his neck, flew down and landed on Raphael's shoulder, earning a small smile and a pet to the bird's chin. "Ah, this is Tenzin, by the way."

"As for pay..."
He smirked. "Obviously, I'll pay you. Plenty of money to give. What I'm essentially wanting is cover. Making sure I don't get killed so I can take out the faraday cages of those buildings by destroying what makes them work. Once they can EMP the buildings, the rest of the district will be safe. After that, it's just a matter of destroying the bots with personal EMP protection. However, I don't think that'll be an issue." He then shrugged. "I make it sound like it's going to be a simple fix and, if it's not, I'll gladly pay for the extra. I'll even cover your hospital bills, if need be. We don't want this rogue AI nonsense to affect the other districts, so I'll greatly appreciate your help."

His voice got serious and his eyes drifted to the building the mob of men were trying to keep the AI in. Gunshots rang and some thick sheet of metal being rended echoed throughout the air. "If there is a bigger problem at hand, I don't expect you to stay. If anything, I expect you to run and save yourself as at that point it'll be too dangerous and not be worth it. I'll make sure you get your pay's worth, even if you run." He would say if he had died, as well, but he didn't want her to use that as leverage against him.

He then smiled at her.
"What pay are you talking here? And, yes. If you want, I can still help you home, get your gun, do whatever you need to. Or I can stay here and assess where I'm needed and trust you'll be back to help me." His expression became sheepish again and he sighed. "Ah... And didn't mean to spook you, once again. I apologize if that was... Unsightly. Luckily, robots are okay to trash much to our hearts' content. If I bothered you that much, I don't expect you to give me your name either."

At this point, Raphael was just hoping he didn't fuck this up.

District 69 was quickly devolving into chaos as the fog loomed over parts of the area, consuming the minds of anyone who dared to cross into its threshold or were merely unfortunate enough to get stuck within it. Among the unfortunate souls who were taken by the fog was the upcoming gang of rebels who once fought for the ability to be whoever you wanted to be, and do whatever it was you wanted to do as long as it didn't prevent someone else from doing the same. Led by the soon-to-be-infamous Qwen Dingling: the "Queen of Liberty". The gang was small, but were known to have a lot of heart and passion for what they believed in! At least, they were before they had mostly all been taken from the fog...

"WHOOO OH YEAH! JOIN THE FOG BABY, JOIN IT OR DIE!!!" Bonnie shouted at the top of her lungs as she marched mindlessly with a small horde of fog-minded sixty-Niners led by Qwen herself.
"Come darlings, there is nothing to fear! The fog is nice, it makes you feel goood! Don't you want to feel good with us!?" Qwen cooed and despite being completely taken by the fog still skipped along as usual.

The horde was chasing a leather-strapped individual who crawled down on all fours with impressive speed, another member of the Sixty-Niners and one of its last remaining members who hadn't been taken by the fog: Esteriel Alberquist.
"I don't think I like this anymore...Qwen, guys! Please stop now..."

Este desperately crawled away, until noticing the scent and faint sound of footsteps in the distance and hoping that whoever it was were friendly, he called out for help
"Is anyone there?! Please help me! Everyone is acting weird and I don't know why!"

Havoc
~Ridden City~

It was moments later before Cathy showed up. In that time a supply of fruits, vegetables- and even a bag of fresh meat- had all been delivered by Cathy to the girls not long after Ciri had taken her nap. Cathy left and promised to be back again, and when she'd said that it'd been hours ago. Inside the loft was not only beds but functioning bathrooms with clean running water. There was even a washing machine and dryer in there, though they didn't seem to work just yet. With time to kill the girls were essentially left to their own devices, at least until Cathy returned.

It wasn't long where after several hours, a knock on the door, and the person that opened it a second later- was Juan. Looking normal once more. He came into the building wearing sneakers, long jeaned shorts and a buttonless sleeve torn vest, looking nothing like the oily abomination he had been earlier. When he walked in, he spoke quickly. An explanation overall. "I know, I shouldn't have left you guys like that but I had to given my state. Look, we've got to head back up top now. District 84, my base is having some trouble and from what I heard when I went back up top, there's people looking to contract my group for some work. Ciri" Juan turned his head to look at her. "I'll send someone less controversial to handle your shop. San" his eyes locked onto her, "you're welcome to come with me if you still want." It wasn't even worded as a question, it was more of a suggestion he was offering her in return. "I'm leaving now. What do you two want to do?" He asked patiently. Though from the way he shifted and moved closer to the door it was clear he wasn't going to be standing there waiting long, or regaling them of where he went.

Not a scratch on him, and if San's nose was any good she'd notice the subtle floral scent about him that mixed in slightly with a hint of sweat. Wherever he'd went he must have cleaned up then made his way back here after.

Juan waited patiently. Eyeing the two for an answer.

At this point, Raphael was just hoping he didn't fuck this up.

She started to consider her options, feeling like they were on an equal level in this transaction. An ideal setting. She wondered how much he should pay her for her services. At the moment, she's not sure what these AI are capable of and what sort of cover she has to provide to fulfill her end of the deal. For now, she can only settle for a bare minimum considering she'll be using her own equipment but would request a transport back to her place to get her stuff. Considering Raphael was a son of a corporation, a car ride wouldn't be too hard to ask for.

Now to the topic of her equipment, if it's just providing support that meant she doesn't need to go all out. But would it be close quarters or long ranged? Either way, she had two weapons in mind for both situations. Ammo was her next concern. She can ask for payment based on twelve magazines able to fit twenty anti-material high velocity custom 7.62mm rounds which she has to request from an overseas vendor which is by no means cheap. She also has to pay for shipping as well so that's another thing on top of her routine order. And that's just to make sure she has bullets to send out of her marksman rifle. She hasn't even considered the amount of money she has to include for her hollow point 9mm rounds for her submachine gun. But she'll add that after the service as additional payment for hazard risk.

Her payment was a pretty high sum of $15,000 which could potentially be up to $40,000 if she ends up using more ammo than intended and with the risk factor. Also payment for any damaged clothing on her person. There wasn't a situation where she was badly damaged herself and had a lengthy healing process and so far her mentality had always been intact. She'd gotten used to being wounded, fatally injured or just killed that she's always prepared for it. It's still a situation she would want to avoid a lot as it always fucking hurts as it should.

"I'm going with a sum of fifteen thousand dollars with potential additions reaching up to forty thousand if shit goes sideways. Escorting me or not back to my place, a car ride would be good if we want to handle this right away. Give me all that and you'll get accurate sniper cover. Sound like a good deal?" She offered as she started thinking of what she should bring to the operation. She definitely need to bring her rig to carry initial ammo and a backpack to carry some more ammo if she ever needed it. That was all she was going to bring, no grenades or bombs or anything electronic magnetic. Nothing of that fancy tech. The only things she has is metal and lead. If Raphael wanted to provide her with any additional equipment, he could. And if it proved very useful, it could definitely reduce the risk fees and save Raphael some thousands of dollars.

--------------------
Moloch was of course the first to act, with a temper and trigger finger akin to his father from millennia past it was no surprise.
"Whoops, forgive me Painy-Wany!~ Huh!?" even with the excessive volume of attacks Moloch was dishing out to the skeletal warrior before him, he had only just managed to pierce the armor before getting caught off guard by the firm headbutt delivered to Moloch, stunning him for a moment and allowing the skeletal warrior to land an upward slash across his torso. Tearing into his flesh before ricocheting off of the harness attached to his torso "OOWW!!" his eyes widened with shock and pain as he stumbled back a few steps. The taunting chattering of the skeleton's jaw brought a smile out of Moloch "Oh you think that was funny do ya!?" he said tauntingly and started bouncing on his feet once again...Only momentarily distracted by the fact his sister had managed to bring down her target in but a single move "Hey hey! Whaddya tryna do sis? Make me look bad!?" he said before having to duck down out of the way from another slashing attack from the skeletal-structure he was still fighting.

Abolah clapped frantically in the background, hopping up and down excitedly in her wheelchair as she enjoyed the show before her.
udica on the other hand had far more success in her assault.

Tsk! Honestly!"
Judica tried her best to ignore her brother but was unable to help herself letting out at least an annoyed sigh. However, she was visibly pleased with Nacht's approval, which was instantly removed by the mention of her father "Yes...I'm sure he will be.". As the Embodiments walked by, she could not even sense or acknowledge the presence of Moses but gave Lady Pain a side-glance as she passed by. Judica wasn't sure how she felt about the Embodiments, she didn't know much about them outside the stories passed around within the Syndicate but they always gave her an uneasy feeling...Which was something she almost never felt.

Moloch continued to avoid strikes from the skeletal warrior until Nacht called out to him. Moloch was visibly disturbed by the lecture he received, he just couldn't bear the thought of disappointing Mian! And he finally decided to stop playing around; his expression turning stone cold as he faced the skeletal figure once again. This time leaping up into the air, and bounced back down atop the skeleton, attempting to pierce its skull with his left hand before using his right hand to repeatedly bash down on the skull until it was reduced to nothing but bonemeal.

Judica bowed her hand to Nacht respectfully "I appreciate it...This wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for him.." she said moving her sight back over to Moloch who was likely still trying to smash the skeletons skull to dust. "But I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. I'll not let him make the same mistake again...It's...'Good' to be back."

San, seeing as she didn’t have much to do, made her rounds around the apartment while Ciri took a nap. It was small, much like her own, so she didn’t have much to worry about. Plus, all the windows seemed to be intact, all with locks that were currently in the locked position. Even the plumbing was working, so she took a shower while she was here.

As she went back to the kitchen to make food, she realized she should probably ask Ciri what she wanted. But upon seeing Ciri passed out, she decided to just make something for herself and hit the hay for the night. She was glad Cathy had arrived so she could make her food. She ended up making something rather simple: Cooked steak (for her a slab of raw meat), and steamed vegetables. She left the fruit untouched and ate her fill, left some for Ciri and Juan in tupperware boxes, pulled out her ponytail to let her hair fall down to her mid-back, then went to sleep near Ciri, not wanting to sleep alone in a different room. If something happened, her body could always start moving even in her sleeping state to protect herself and Ciri.

However, upon waking up, she noticed heavy breathing with whines intermixed. San looked over to see Ciri looking paler than yesterday. She crawled over to her, looked at the bag to see one candy, and realized Ciri needed candy. Maybe.

It wasn’t a bad thought. San needed candy to give her a burst of energy so she could transform it into lightning. If Ciri needed the same thing for her own energy, then it was safe to say she needed candy. Digging into her pouch, San pulled out some candy and waved the candy in Ciri’s face before setting it right next to her.

A knock happened and she snapped her head towards the door. From the breathing she can hear through the door with her super hearing, she could tell it wasn’t Cathy. Getting up, she was about to open the door when Juan entered. He looked normal. Too normal. He was dripping like black ink just last night, what happened to him? She narrowed her eyes at him, not really caring that he had to leave, but not wanting to invalidate his reasons for why he left. Still, she felt like something was wrong. Completely setting aside the rest of his inquiry and explanation for future comment, she stepped into his space and sniffed his chest. Taking a step back, she tilted her head at him, her ears fully forward and her tail wasn’t between her legs. Scrutiny in her gaze, she watched him carefully. Her emotions weren’t plagued with fear this time. Maybe anxiety, but it was mostly with worry.

“You cleaned… Did you kill anyone here in the Underdark?” It was a fair assessment, but a secretive one as she said in a hushed tone, yet she wasn’t accusing him. Given that he seemed dangerous last night, she couldn’t help but wonder if he had to enact the reason for which he felt dangerous. But if he did, that meant they couldn’t stay for long. They’ll soon find out. “Ciri is going through a decrease in her blood sugar levels from overexerting herself last night, I’m assuming. She’s sick. One of us will have to carry her if she isn’t up.” She then looked at him with narrowed eyes, voice a whisper; tone urgent. “If you killed anyone here in the Underdark, we have to leave now with extra urgency. They’ll find out if they haven’t already.”

She then backed up, finally giving Juan some space before looking at him. “District 84, hm? Pyre. I remember talk of Pyre. Aligns with my ideals.” Her speech became more staccatoed as she went into the kitchen, pulled out two tupperware boxes of cooked meat and steamed vegetables to show to him. “One for you and one for Ciri.” She put the tupperware in her pack and went back into the kitchen to fetch some fruit. She threw an apple at Juan, not caring if he wanted one or not, before setting the fruit in her bag. Putting the utility pack on her belt and her bo-staff securely in its sheathe on her back, she tied up her hair into a ponytail as she knelt beside Ciri. “Hey, bun-bun, let’s get up. Can you walk?” The uncharacteristic nickname had her averting her eyes in slight embarrassment, and even more so as her tone sounded sweet, almost like a coo. Yet, she couldn’t bring herself to keep calling her Ciri when she was coaxing her awake. She gently held her shoulder to see if the poor girl was okay and if she was conscious.

She was, in fact, worried for her. Traveling alongside her for as little as they did only had the pink bunny girl growing on her. It was as if her wolf-like mind found Ciri and Juan as a part of her makeshift pack.

The discolored fog was starting to get near the building Naomi was perched atop and her antennae quivered in anticipation. She had to jump now. Looking down at the ground, she saw a woman wearing what appeared to be black and white …. Nun clothes? She looked rather cute. A little skimpy but…

Wait, what was a nun doing in Hell City?

However, as soon as she was about to take off to help the nun from the mind-altered folk, she heard yelling and saw a familiar group, overtaken by the fog, with a leather-bound individual - wearing something similar to their suits they had in their HQ - crawling around on all fours and trying to run from the loud and obnoxious groupies-er… What was left of the Sixy-Niners.

It didn’t take a genius to see that the fog was taking people’s minds and forcing others to join it. Humming, the fur on her body began to shift and shiver, before a cloud of moths left her body. Flying down, the cloud of moths followed, leaving a trail behind her flight. Her antennae twitched, and the cloud of moths flew off from Naomi’s flight path towards Katja and headed towards Esteriel. The moths then curved to get in the way of the Sixty-Niners, dive bombing them and biting their skin hard enough to create holes.

As she got close to Katja’s form, she pulled back and aimed her thorax towards the Sixty-Niners. With some messy aim, she sprayed white strands from the end of her thorax. The sticky webbing and the aggressive moths would be enough to keep the two at bay. Having been able to help two people, she grabbed the nun bridal style and flew off before the other zombies could grab either of them. Her face strained, she found it difficult to fly with another person in her grasp, but thankfully Katja wasn’t too heavy. She was able to find another building to perch atop that currently wasn’t being infested with zombies or the fog. Setting Katja down, she then looked out to see where the Sixty-Niner in leather went, wanting to help him.

She sent some more moths, sending them towards the ground and flying around until they spotted Esteriel, which they then tried guiding him into a building and up to the rooftop, where Naomi and Katja rested.

Sighing in relief, Naomi looked to Katja and checked her for any injuries.
“You okay? You shouldn’t have been here. It’s dangerous for someone like you.” She took a moment to actually look at Katja and she blushed. Especially someone like you.” Her voice sounded in awe before she shook her head and smiled, her voice going back to her squeaky, chipper state. “I’m Naomi, by the way. Who are you? And… Are you a nun?” Her head tilted inquisitively, her antennae flickering and her wings softly fluttering as she knelt beside the nun idly. Even her fur seemed to move on its own as it shivered.

It took a while for a decision to be made. Was she doing math in her head? She didn’t seem to say her name when she spoke, nor did she acknowledge his apology. Well, that’s what he got for being a dick, he guessed.

When she did speak though, he had a rough estimate of what she was going to ask. However, what she asked was less than he had initially thought. It didn’t feel right to just take her services like that, especially with the risks at hand. He just shook his head, leaning against his cane with an amused smirk and a twinkle in his gaze.
“Fifteen thousand, hm? Even forty thousand sounds quite cheap for someone like you. Still, that’s the minimum you’d go. I know this is dangerous, and I’m trusting you’re a great aim and won’t accidentally shoot me. I have someone I can call for driving, but we have to leave the district as they won’t be coming into the district the way it is, and this isn’t an emergency that is requiring them to drive into the district.” Finally, he brought up the money, standing up straighter and squaring his shoulders, his tone speaking finality.

“I’ll give you sixty thousand. Minimum. The risks here are far too dangerous, so if things escalate, hundred thousand. We also have machines to create ammunition if need be back at my factory. I can take you back to the Hearth Corp. building and aid in giving you ammo either now or later. I will also give you ion grenades. Damages robots and stuns them for a few seconds, giving you ample time to find cover or dispatch them. EMP grenades won’t do a thing if they are running around outside of the buildings. If you can cover me from any range, I’ll take it. When I’m in a building, I’ll be mindful of windows.”

Seeing as they got things settled, he looked at his watch and pressed a button. The sturdy glass face shone green and he tilted his head towards the border of the district. “We aren’t too far from the border. We’ll go there, get a ride, go to your place, get what you need, and head back.” He then smirked, deciding to be cheeky and playful as his tail twitched and flicked. “So, now that we got things settled, may I know your name? Or will you still be holding out on me?”

The falcon on his shoulder cooed and ruffled his feathers in a shiver, headbutting Raphael’s cheek and causing his mischievous grin to become sheepish.

Katja was really regretting not actually going for more walks or at least using the treadmills at the hospital more as she realized her stamina even in life or death situations was horrid. A few moments after she had started waving to get the pink things attention katja started to run out of breath. She was really out of shape it seemed, well she lived of charity so she didn't really chose to eat little and leave herself lacking energy often. Katja still pushed herself to try to get saved from the fog. That was until she heard another person shouting for her, or well someone shouting for help she could make out over the sea of voices. Even she could not care about everyone equally at all times. Being in what seemed like a life or death situation made Katja focus on herself and those around her more than everyone, if she could she would. Of course it wasn't like Katja was pushing people down to buy time or doing anything malicious but still she did feel a little guilty about it. She felt only more guilty when she could make out a voice and could do nothing to help them, a pacifist like her with power only on holy ground the most useful thing she could do was get out of the way.

Katja felt her lungs burn as she had to take a second to breathe she could go no further. Katja had to stop she doubled dover breathing heavily. Looking up for a moment Katja though she saw and angel swooping down, had god intervened to help her? It took a few seconds before Katja managed to have enough of her wits about her to realize it was the pink thing, a pink woman. Then Katja noticed the wings and abdomen on the pink girl. She wasn't an angel but one of the many mutated inhabitants of the city. Well angel moth there wasn't that much of a difference at this point and as soon as Katja could make out the moth woman's face she preferred the moth girl saving her. It was these looks that Katja got to see up close and personal as she found herself picked up by the moth angel. She would really have to ask her savior's name, but right now Katja was more concerned with the fact they were leaving the ground. Katja instinctively latched to the moth girl as she found herself held bridal style which she didn't mind at all.

Katja couldn't see the other person she had heard calling out for help, but did hope someone helped him. Katja could ask her savior to save another, but she understood from the hospital when someone is busy and helping others that shutting up and letting them focus was better than trying to get them to do anything else. It did make Katja feel a little guilty but not even she could save everyone and she would say prayers for such things latter. In moments Katja found herself on solid ground and was a little sad about it , though the moth girl unleashed some moths and those seemed to go out to help others so that was good Katja could and would ask no more of the girl. Well she might ask other things of her, but well they wouldn't be related to the lust zombies.

As The woman spoke Katja got a good look at her, and while she had gotten a look at her before now Katja no longer in danger could take it in. The one world that came to Katja's mind was angelic, the woman was beautiful and Katja instantly knew it. Katja had seen pretty women before, but never had she been so truck by one as she was now. Several thoughts ran through Katja's mind. Her eyes are red like mine. Is her hair naturally that silver pink it is pretty? Is that fur or clothing is she nude should i look away? Do i want to look away? Are those eyes or gem on her head? Too many questions and katja only really came back to reality as she was called a nun and realized she was blushing.

Katja noticed the tone of how Naomi spoke, what did she mean epically someone like her? Katja didn't know why it would be odd for her to be somewhere in the city. Well the city was dangerous, but Katja had friends among many gangs and homeless groups, free healing no questions asked had some benefits even if Katja did not seek them. So she could generally walk around in the safer and slightly less safe areas just not the really bad ones. Anyways Katja had no clue where she was anyways.

" I well umm got well lost" Katja said finding it a bit hard to find and form words. Katja normally had no issues speaking to strangers and was not exactly easily that embarrassed or bashful. Katja would have to think on why she suddenly felt that, she had a clue but well now wasn't the time. " I was on a walk from the hospital... I'm not sick or anything i live there... I mean well they keep me there... well i mean not really in the hospital i live in the chapel.. " Now she was over explaining things god this was bad " Well oh right i am Katja Glinka n n nice to meet you Naomi... i mean you saved so of course it is nice to meet you... i mean i thought you were an angel when you came to save me" She blurted out saying something so embarrassing her face turned tomato red " i mean umm uh thank you and well i mean i didn't think i looked to much like a sister.... nun.... but well no i am not a nun i haven't take any vows and well i mean i don't really think i will become one. " She explained a little glad she hadn't as being a nun prevented her from some things, that well now Katja had some intrest in suddenly. " Are you hurt?" Katja asked taking a few steps towards Naomi getting likely to close to the moth girl " If you are i can help. Not right now but if we go to the chapel i can heal people... Well i mean i have to pray but if i do i can heal most anything" She hastily said again going into to much detail and no hiding anything at all from a woman she had only just met in hell city. " Though even if you aren't hurt i wouldn't mind spending a little more time with you after this" she threw in at the end. It was stupid and was not the right thing to say by any stretch of the word but it felt like her filter had been turned off.

Speech Reference: Bebobo, Jolle, Axelrad & Nova
--------------------
Reverting back to his slim form, Bebobo had hobbled his way back to the Heroes Guild Headquarters. The place where all the heroes asides from Gray Fox & The Master themselves called home and stood as a bastion of defense against the villainy of the city. Bebobo had candy sticking out from his pockets and one stuck between his lips. He could never get enough of its sweet goodness but had saved enough over the trip to share with his trainee sidekick Jolle Deae. But as he approached the headquarters, he had been blissfully unaware that he was being watched from afar.

The Heroes Guild Headquarters was situated roughly in the center of the District 33, a four-story building with a reinforced steel-locked door that was under constant surveillance and protection by automated drones; by virtue of Icarus himself. From the outside, it was quite well protected, but the real security came from the interior where personnel of at least twenty volunteer security monitored the halls around the clock. Bebobo approached the locked security doors, and dialled in a secret passcode known only by the heroes and staff of the Heroes Guild: 'JUSTICE'. Opening the door and going inside.

Bebobo was almost instantly ambushed as he entered the facility, the first sign that something was amiss being a stretching shadow coming from a nearby corridor; and it grew eyes! Bebobo knew instantly what or specifically, who was behind this, and approached with his trademark 'Greheeeg' laugh he always did as he attempted to jump around and scare the culprit before they had the chance to get him! Only for Jolle, the boy who controlled the shadow entity, to appear from above and latch onto him from behind!
"GRAAAGGHH!!" Bebobo said, jumping up and dramatically flopping onto his back, crushing Jolle in the process...

After a lot of crying, apologizing and sacrificing that sweet sweet candy the both of them regrouped with the other present heroes in the common room. The general hangout spot for the heroes when they were off duty, preparing for jobs or in times like this where they had their OWN private meeting to discuss their thoughts and problems. Bebobo was usually not invited to these meetings, but today it was different apparently - and that worried Bebobo.

The atmosphere was dark inside the room, and the expressions on everyone's faces had dark clouds hanging over them. Jolle nudged on Bebobo's shirt and leaned into him to whisper to him "They were like this all night...Something happened!" and Bebobo continued to stand and stare for a bit before walking in and taking a seat at the round table everyone was sitting around.

The heroes present, asides from Bebobo & Jolle themselves were: Nova Larson (AKA 'Dark Star'), Mani her spectral ghost brother, Axelrad Heptrix (AKA 'Wild Cord'), Tinker J. Tarren (AKA 'Mishap') and Tinker's furry pal Koala-Han. Strangely, Tinker's partner Doby Clause wasn't present.

Nova was downing bottles of straight whiskey like it was going out of style, whilst Mani and Axelrad argued with each other in the background as was usual for them but what wasn't usual is that they were shouting the building down. Tinker was puffing down on smokes, looking like he was trying his best to hold back tears while Koala-Han sat on his shoulder and comforted him with head pats.

"Judging by the looks of you, guess ya haven't heard?" Nova was the first to actually speak to Bebobo, and he simply responded by shaking his head and blinking his eyes cluelessly. "Yeah, figured...We have had our first casualties..." she said before taking another swig "Looks like the 'Masters' plan is starting to show cracks...Hah, that or he's given up on us. Either way, we are probably screwed."
"I-it just doesn't make sense..." Tinker said between the anxious puffs he was taking from his cigarette.
"We gotta go out and find whatever bastard did this now so I can make his ears bleed!! Hey, Tinker, where the fuck is Doby? He should be here!! Now back to you!" Axelrad chimed in loudly before returning back to his argument with Mani. Bebobo meanwhile looked overwhelmed by this sudden dump of information.
"Oh, if that wasn't bad enough. We've also lost contact with our top heroes. The news is there was an explosion where the Baron & Arbiter were sent, so far as we know, they might be dead too. So what we brought you here for..."

In the tenure of the Heroes Guild so far, they had received no losses, and their flawless success up to this point seemed to make the bad news hit that much harder. The Master was unquestionably trusted until last night, and his loyal heroes were now gathering to decide whether their trust was misplaced. Everyone started to discuss their thoughts, even Axelrad and Mani found time out of their constant arguing to chime in with their own opinions and by the end, a vote was made as to whether or not they would continue trusting in the orders of the 'Master' or carve their own path to bringing real justice to Hell City...

If only they knew that all these discussions about the future would be completely meaningless in just a few hours.
