In some way, shape, or form; these characters are royalty; or related. For one reason or another, it has become too dangerous for them to remain in their kingdom; weather it be the looming threat of assassination, banishment, revolution, or some combination- they must leave the comfort of their castle and travel as a commoner along with the rest of the group of once-royals. Together they will venture to new kingdoms, islands, and maybe even lands previously undiscovered.
This will be a fantasy adventure; with a focus on character building, lore, and found family. Along with building your oc; you will also be allowed to build the country they came from, including the geography, culture, flora , and fauna of the region ( as long as they are plausible within the rules of the world; it's all up for grabs ).
Though there will be serious plots within the story, it'll mostly be a light hearted adventure featuring royals learning how to live like normal (-ish) people, do odd jobs to support themselves, not get assassinated , and explore the world around them. With most of the character's goals falling along the lines of " solve the issue in my country so I can go back home " or " avoid going back home at all costs "
The story will revolve around the group of royals; but feel free to make a non-royal character if you like; as long as they have a reason to stay with the group.

Oscetel is the name of the supercontinent on which nearly every kingdom resides. Despite being connected, these kingdoms all have a wide variety of cultures, mannerisms and traditions.
A big part of the rp will revolve around the characters getting to discover new traditions, and share their own.
So far there are 4 kingdoms created, but more will be added as people make them ( If you don't want to make a country, you can always ask to have your character be from the same country as another person's; but make sure to get permission first. ) More info on the countries will be in the CS thread and on discord.
Lore: It is said, thousands of years in the past the world had progressed far beyond what it is now. Magic of the Alatyr brought about the end of the world past, and from its ashes- Oscetel grew. Remains of the past can still be found, deep in the ocean.
Technically the world is post-apocalyptic; but it is so far in the future society has already long since re-built.
Technology: Most technology is simple; built with the intention of doing the most using the least amount of power necessary, due to the materials and Alter stones needed to create an enchanted item being very expensive.
As far as development of technology, think mid to late 1800s ; give or take a few decades depending on how wealthy the country is, and how much Alter Stone technology they can afford. So yes, guns exist; but nothing beyond a wild west-esq six shooter. Cars are slow, and expensive; used almost exclusively to flaunt wealth. Most travel is done by water way, train, or carriage.
In this world magic is precious, and rare; while the cursed are plentiful, and despised.
Enchantments: Within Oscetel, magic is the primary source of energy. It is created by Alter Stones ( a precious gem said to have been broken off of The Alatyr ) they radiate magical energy; handling them too often without protection (or some other safety net) can lead to an early death. The use of Alter Stones to power a machine is known as "enchantment".
The Cursed: The cursed have the ability to transform their bodies, either wholly or partly, into that of a magical creature. The Cursed make up 0.17 percent of the world population ( not actually that uncommon in many places, to put it into perspective; this is about the percentage of the world populace with both red hair and blue eyes ), though they aren't spread evenly through the kingdoms and are considered non-human ( biologically , they are completely human ). Their treatment in the majority of the world ranges from sub-human to monstrous.
In many places magical creatures ( Unicorns, Dragons, Hellhounds, etc ) will also be referred to as cursed as well, though they don't have the ability to change their forms.
Only the cursed can handle Alter Stones without protection and not become ill.
You will be allowed to make your character a Cursed; but keep in mind this will effect how they are treated, and they will most likely not be allowed to remain royalty ( K'Savr is the only exemption to this rule. )
1: Follow all RP Nation site rules, obviously
2: OOC chat will be on discord, so a discord is required to join ( which also means you must be older than 13 )
3: No 18+ content.
4: Post minimum will be once a week, with 2-3 paragraphs ( If you need to skip a few times that's perfectly fine, just let me know )
5: Be nice to the other players, this includes making sure you follow general RP etiquette ( no over powered characters, god-modding, etc. )
6: The password so I know you read the rules is anything red (strawberries, crimson crayons, etc. ), and it will go at the end of your CS
7: Won't be first come first serve; i'll pick 5-7 players once the deadline (not decided yet, but prob a week from whenever I post the CS) is up.
