Hey , when it comes to Alashar under pressure it’s all up to what situation she gets into. She does better in some than others.. this is not one of the ones she does better in. So in other words , I can’t gaurantee anything.. but Jalen had better choose his words and actions carefully.
 
Also , reading your post , Lexa won’t have to put a Hyperdrive into the Aethersprite if she’s flying a Z-95 instead. She wouldn’t risk having something as recognizable as her Aethersprite be her main transportation and main weapon for a mission like this. Scavenger Scavenger
 
Yeah.. It seems Alashar’s tendency to submit to displeased authority figures hasn’t changed. She’s defiant up to the point where the person she’s defying actually responds to her , no matter what it is she’s being defiant over.

So really , the main danger was Jalen taking her up on the fight , or trying to ignore her.
 
Man, it's gotta be exhausting being Alashar right now. That's a whole lot of tension wound up there.

Lexa is trying to avoid admitting to the fact that you want to take a Z-95 because she hates them.
 
Well , Alashar could end up taking an R-22 spearhead. Which is more or less just an A-wing , but slightly older. Would Lexa rather that happen? I mean.. Alashar spends almost nothing of the cuts she gets except when she gets her food and when she’s out with Sasha , so she can afford either. She’ll probably ask Lexa which would be better for her to purchase before looking into acquiring either , anyway. Lexa knows a lot more about starfighters than she does anyway , it’d be rude not to ask her.

Of course , ‘probably ask her’ is influenced by just how awful Jalen makes her feel. If he makes her feel absolutely awful , she might not talk to anyone , at all , save when she absolutely has to.

I mean Lexa would prefer it, they're a much better space vehicle and the some of the systems on the head hunter do just seem to be stupidly designed. But as you said we'll have to see how things play out
 
That’s perfectly fine by me. I’d rather you take care of yourself first , and post when you feel up to the task - even if that’s going to be a little while. Writing tired or burned out isn’t ever really a good idea in my experience.
 
As you’ll be busy for the weekend I figure now may be a good time to leave everyone with a couple songs I thought of that (in my opinion) work well for Alashar’s current predicament. I tend to soundtrack (or simply think of music that works for) my writing quite a bit , so this likely won’t be the last time I have a song for Alashar , or something she’s doing. (More often the latter , as she tends to soundtrack herself more on a situational basis than anything). She doesn’t lend herself to music especially well , but there are certain situations that do.. like this one. It helps that she’s became a little more self-aware and a little less insanely fanatical since the end of the Clone Wars.

Although I still wouldn’t say these are what she’d express herself with. The first one more than the second , but.. she’s also more or less worried to death right now anyway.

If this was a musical I could honestly see Sasha be Alashar singing the second one as a duet , depending on just how everything plays out.

Also , Jadus Jadus , why doesn’t Jalen consider Alashar a threat? She isn’t his equal , true , but she’s exactly on Anakin’s level , so she’s only just a sliver below Jalen. She’d lose , but she’d put up a hell of a fight before she did were she to fight him. Unless you’re saying he knew she’d back down.. or that Jalen doesn’t think much of her , or thinks a bit too much of himself.

HK Fifty HK Fifty the thing about Jalen, he is basically a full on commando. He’s near unbeatable with a saber yes, but his use of hand to hand combat pushes him over the top. He can use battle mind and such but he doesn’t even need it to beat most
 
HK Fifty HK Fifty nothing personal. That’s just how my character was designed. His martial skill is the the best the Jedi has seen in a very long time, but his force skill is extremely lax. See the trade off? I’m sure Alashar is good, but Jalen is better with a utility of applying his martial skill to everything not just saber combat
 
I understand. I don’t take him being better than her personally at all! It’s just their respective skill levels. (Besides , she’s supposed to be sort of born to lose anyway.. she’s always been disposable , second behind everyone. It’s part of getting the most out of playing her that at least one character will be better at her main skills than she is. If anything , it works better that he is indeed stronger than her). I can see him knowing he’s better than her ensuring he doesn’t see her , especially a wildly passionate her , a threat. I was merely stating that she’s very close to being as good as he is. So kind of like how IG-88 was a threat to Boba Fett , in that IG-88 was very nearly at Boba’s level - enough to give him significant trouble , if not be the death of him or defeat him. But again.. she’s not as good as he is. Doubly so when she’s upset and not using her Lightsaber.

She is very much a specialist. She knows just enough Echani to be a little above average in a fist-fight , certainly not enough to go more than a few rounds with Jalen before tiring herself out or getting beaten to a pulp. (She a bit too tenacious to submit or withdraw until she’s close to dropping dead. Whether that’s a strength or a weakness.. eh , that’s up to who’s evaluating her and what situation she’s gotten herself into).

In the unlikely event the two ever find themselves sparring then, it's possible Jalen may find himself surprised if he goes with the assumption that being the best means always winning (it often doesn't).

That said, I think we all have a mission to concentrate on. ;)
 
I mean , Alashar could always destroy all the light sources.. and since she’s already blind anyway , that won’t affect her whatsoever. But let’s hope they never do come to blows , even if Alashar isn’t as easily submitted.

And yes , our only-slightly-merry little band does have other things to occupy their focus for the moment. Including talking over Alashar’s not very Jedi reaction to the plan.. and of course the plan itself , and subsequently the execution thereof. They’re going to be rather busy little former Jedi aren’t they?
