Ickol Confrontational

Are you fucking kidding me? You shouldn’t be this resilient! That was a cool end and everything! Gah, your homeworld must give you serious bullshit!”

Ickol screamed at Meryl, and not at all at a higher power.

She pulled herself out of the wall and climbed nothing until she was at a sufficient height, before jumping down at Meryl, casting an illusion over the monster so that she appeared to herself and others to be about the size of Inqui. Before the god-spawn could comprehend the truth of Ickol’s actions, the antlered liar fell from on high, plowing the reality-mallet on top of her skull. The force of the hit caused reality to splinter under Meryl’s chin as inertia propelled her head forwards and through the sharp shards of reality. In one steady motion, Ickol grabbed the back of Meryl’s head and pulled up quickly, dragging the monster’s neck across the sharp reality with the goal of decapitating her, or at the very least cutting her throat to ribbons.

Even in your last moments, you are probably the most godsdamned motherfucking annoying thing either world has ever seen.

  • The Inqui instance near Helsa simply smiled back.

    "Why..so?..it's..all...in..good..jest!..So...I...think...it's..alright!"

Yeah, pretty much. I'm very tired. Helsa thought at Inqui.

...I can look at him though, right? I do think he looks hot in the suit-and wow, it says a lot about how tired I am that I said that without hesitation.

With a slight smile at the little back and forth between him, Inqui, and Helsa, Ocaeril allowed himself to relax more and more, and his emotions soon lead him to a calmness of spirit. While rest and sleeping (long, long sleep) are good things...Small interactions like these really do make his stamina and his newly-started 'break' much more enjoyable.

Soon getting up however, despite the fact Inqui's lap was comfortable, he found no more reason to reply back to Helsa or Inqui, and around that same time, Tiamat came with figures he was at the same familiar with, but at the same time just now being able to see them. The spirits of Abzu, Lahamu, and Kingu appeared before him, no longer requiring the god to force his third eye to be able to see them between the spiritual world and the physical one, as they thankfully came to be in the latter.

His smile was soon replaced by his jaw being open, a look of surprise and wonder on his face as he stared at them for a moment, and while not shown, a bit of...Nervousness was there. While Ocaeril knew Tiamat loved him like a child, there was still the fact that...Well...There was still that feeling of awaiting acceptance. His last 'family' and 'father' did indeed abandon him after all. While he knew via Tiamat they weren't like this by stories alone, that sense of expectancy and almost nervousness, even if it was infinitely small and not allowing itself to show on his face, was still there for a single moment.

...But soon, at their words, a smile formed himself on his lips. If he was younger or more emotional, he'd perhaps have cried, but here, he was already a tad emotionally and physically drained. But even so, his eyes glistened a bit, almost threatening to let out tears. They did not, thankfully.

"It's nice to meet all of you," He replied honestly. "You really are like mom told me about each of you."

It felt weird. Almost unnatural to have someone consider him a part of the family so quickly and easily like this. But even so, Tiamat's family quickly took them in as one of their own...Much like she did when he was first born. It felt good. It felt...Comfortable. Happy. Someone to call a 'father,' someone to call a 'sister,' someone to call 'brother.'

It really made him smile. He appreciates this break a little more.

"
Now, why don't we all go home? You may be spirits, but I'm sure you'd all enjoy hanging out in the little hut I built to myself and my family there..."

Holding Inqui's hand and whistling for Eva to come along, Ocaeril led Tiamat and her family with him back to a certain World Tree, where a small and simple hut stood, hidden away from the eyes of its other residents and trainees there, but at the same time, open to all. Despite the fact, time passes faster for gods, the next few years or months or even weeks that went by were truly calming to Ocaeril, even if they seemed like hours. Talking and bonding to his family, getting his 'reward' from Inqui, teaching Eva new things as she slowly became an adult, and...

Ocaeril'adabaoth Rey, 3rd Action

...Ah, yes, a new member on the family, too.

On a certain day, a new constellation appeared on the sky, depicting what almost appeared to be a spiral or a 'drill' in the sky, almost similar, but nowhere equal to a certain 'Milky Way' in another world. Visible almost every night to all, as on the same night that constellation was formed, a certain boy was born from the First Heroine and the planet. Shimone, The Second Child, 'The Spiral Child', or simply known as 'The Digging Miner' was born under a comfortable light with no troubles.

For he was someone who represented what kept the world together, the gravity and the air that surrounded the planet, the weather, the air, even the minerals in the ground. While he wasn't a creator, he was someone who'd represent those concepts as a force of nature, much like his father and older sister.

Only time knows what it has in store for the second child, but the future seemed bright, as Ocaeril allowed himself to enjoy his break even more.

"Perfect!" Helsa shouts from her place of being carried by Inqui. "Carry me to my island, Inqui. I wish to lie on my throne and sleep for a year. See you eventually planet boy and the rest."

And then Helsa proceeded to faceplant into Inqui's back again. From the noises she was making, she had fallen asleep.

Nergal laId down on his as the smoking man explained everything to him. And after he was done, he just remained silent as he thought to himself. And once he was done with his thinking, he spoke up.

"Yeah, I got a question. Well, it's not really a question, it is more of demand. One relating relating to me helping you with whatever silly schemed you cooked up. It's quite simple, really. If you want my help, I'm gonna need a few things in return: snacks, some entertainment, and some living creatures to corrupt. Do that, and I will help you."

  • Meryl's head was cleanly severed, letting out a "SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" noise as it plunged into the reverse world's depths. With that, the Elaryan duo was no more, at least until some idiot went down there to find her head and decided to fuse with it. Now, a bigger problem confronted ickol, recovering her spear.

Ocaeril's face turned into more of a frown as Original spoke more and more, and while his friend's points were valid, he seemed to have missed the point of his argument, or at least some of them. Unlike the Hedgehog like god, Ocaeril tried to keep his calm but found it increasingly hard to do so, mostly due to the way he was speaking, as well as the fact he was still holding Tanya in a way that he didn't quite like. Soon, however, he didn't have to do as such, as Original seemingly realized something, and Ocaeril seemingly blinked in realization as well as the planet god seemingly realized what his friend had remembered.

"...Did you forget you can just make a copy of her--"

Alas, with Tanya being thrown into his general direction, and Ocaeril's hands and body acting as a rubbery yet soft spot for her to fall on top of, with it expanding to catch hold of her, he wasn't able to fully figure out if that was indeed what Original had realized...Even though he had a feeling it was fairly obvious that was the case.

Soon, a silence fell as Ocaeril held Tanya on his arms as he floated on the air, before after he made sure they were truly alone again, he let out a sigh of pure relief, a misty breath coming from him, as he descended down into the ground in some unknown part of nature. Grassy hill and flowers could be seen, and an azure lake was in the distance. It was a pretty location- and Ocaeril gently propped Tanya down there.

"Right." He spoke, allowing himself to land down as well, but his body laying down. "My objective is complete. I suppose I'll have to return to the greater shard soon..." Yes, after all, this was and wasn't Ocaeril. Just a shard of the being- an advanced 'clone' if you will.

This didn't stop him from looking at Tanya, though. "What I said back there...Is true. Zemrasil has been finally defeated, and we have a hold of his core. I suppose the 'system' for absorbing the powers of gods changed, but I can't be sure. I know this isn't...The ideal way of telling you, nor it probably is a good thing to say anyway, as he was your father...Or the closest thing to him, and you being back to your home."

He knew Tanya didn't like Zem and Meryl as much as the other guy, but he had to guess it still felt...Hurtful? Hollow? They were the closest things to her parents, and she being back home. With them defeated, the thought of her ever going back felt slime, unless he found a way to do it himself...Without another battle.

"
...Regardless. I, or at least, the original Ocaeril, have kept our promise to protect you against Zemrasil and Meryl."

He felt the need to say something else. Anything else. But...He didn't know what, specifically. As such, he stood there, and awaited Tanya's response to the news.

The goddess watched the decapitated head sink into the reverse world after letting go of it. Well that answers that, at any rate. When she breaks reality in any other plane, it leads here. Far away from the nexus of portals, of course, in the infinite aether beyond. But when she splinters the reality in this place, it leads to that one plane. It’s one of the Shaper’s brats that lives there, right? Meh, doesn’t matter. Slinging the more compact carcass over her shoulder as a trophy, she considered her options. Showing this to Zem would still be pretty traumatizing even if he didn’t see her die in front of him, then again she was a little interested how Inqui or Tanya would react to the corpse of someone that made their lives miserable but was still an impactful figure to them in a way. On the other hand, after venting she mostly just feels apathetic to this whole mess. Let Inquidiot, dirt boy and the others deal with it. She still needed her spear, though. Well, not really but she’d be damned if she let Meryl have even the slightest influence on her life by taking one of her weapons as a cost to their battle.

Covering her eyes, she hummed as she skipped about, casting an illusion over her movements to hide the injuries and limp.

Feeling right as rain. Now, oh where or where can it be? Ah, it calls to my heart! I’m coming, my precious!

This was, of course, a lie, but one she allowed to guide her through a seemingly random ‘corner’ of space, popping out seemingly out of nowhere planetside.

"Fine, fine, I'll help you set up your signal, but it better not take too long. I have a few things I need to see to. Things like punishing that IDIOT CAT that ruined my plan!"

In the next, Nergal was back on his clawed feet, and the cuffs restraining him slowly melted as pure Chaos energy poured out of his malformed body.

"No one does that! No one! No one! No one! I'll make her pay for that, her and the rest of her shit eating kind! I will make every single one of them suffer!"

  • "Gotta lift with the legs!"

Original pulled once more at the spear, still unable to wrench it from the ground. He wasn't actually sweating, but his imitation of the act was very convincing. He let go after continuing to make no progress. He looked up, black eyes widening as he takes view of Ickol. He looks at her, then back to the spear, then back to her, and he licks his lips and smiles wide. He takes a bow and tips his hat before speaking.

"My fair lady! You grace me with your presence after such a wonderous gift! I know not how I could ever thank you enough! Truly, our love rivals that of the gods! Oh, right! HAHAHAHAHA~!"

Original lets out that demented kefka laugh of his. Damn, Ickol just couldn't catch a break today.

Not...in...mood. Big...bird...bite...it, yet? This...one...escaped...her...prison, was...able...to...end...her...before...she...interfered. Also, I’m...taking...that...spear...back. Was...a...gift, you...know...how...it...is. Can’t...let...it...be...seen...with...someone...else.

Not really bothering to look around at his new surroundings, Nergal set about performing his task, most because he just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. He may be an insane, mutant monster, but he also had some plans, and he would never be able to start them any time soon if he wasted time. And so, Nergal started doing what he did best, and that was unleashing high amounts of lethal chaos energy.

The instance of Inqui which Helsa faceplanted into, smiled and winced at the same time, she placed a pat on Helsa before teleporting her to her Island and tucked her into her throne.

Inqui's breath was slow yet soft as she laid on a soft bead, her eyes were tired and her hair was frazzled.

But that was because of the small bundle of joy Inqui cradled in her arms.

Inqui smiled in serenity as she looked upon their child, Shimone, she gave a joyful glance to Ocaeril, her hubbie and beloved was better at naming things than she was, so Shimone was a wonderful name for her darling little boy.

She cooed and smiled as she continued to cradle Shimone, tracing her finger on Shimone's baby cheeks and placed her head close to him.

    "Shimone...me...and...my...hubbie's...darling...son...Mama...is...happy...that...she...had...a...handsome...child...like...you...Shimone...you'll...do...great...things...and...I'll...be...proud...of...you...always"

Inqui then leaned down as she placed a kiss on Shimone's forehead.

Looking up to Ocaeril, her hubbie, she then gave an offer to him.

    "My...love...would...you...like...to...hold...our...darling...boy?"

  • The small blue-haired child, and probably the first boy in the long-yet-no-so-long lineage of Aqua, slept peacefully in his mother's arms. His birth, while perhaps too normal for a divine being such as Ocaeril and Inqui, was peaceful, mostly thanks to Inqui's slime-like nature. Ocaeril always said some things about him having accidentally fucked up humans along the way, making their hips too small and birth being messy because of it, but, sometimes it was hard to keep track of what he said sometimes.

Shimone was still a bit dirty from his birth- his form shifting between physical and slime-like. Small fox-like whiskers and ears occasionally forming on his face, and small draconic scales along his skin- before soon, he settled down in the form of an unsuspecting, normal-looking human newborn. Perhaps it was 'evolution' allowing him to control his form, or maybe it was the convenience of things.

Regardless...Shimone slept, and soon, Inqui would see that her husband was as well.

While Ocaeril didn't snore due to his biology, he seemed ready to do so. He was completely down on a nearby chair. Nine soft tails wrapped around himself like some sort of blanket, and his mouth open, almost ready to drool some tree sap. He was completely exhausted, not only because of the last three cycles worth of stress and battles coming down on him at once but as well as the birth of his second child, that while was something peaceful and happy...Was what caused him to fall over.

    "Zzzz..."

    "Mmm..."

    What a pair of sleepyheads.

EVA ACTION ONE

Eva rested, considering the previous events. Narus, the aliens, all evidence that reality needed to be defended. A perfect defense, one that could not be undone easily.

Eva drew upon her vast power, and began her greatest work yet. It would be a Tower made of crystalline light and dark, a massive structure that pinned reality together. It would be invisible and insubstantial, only accessible through thirteen monoliths. These monoliths varied from ten to fifty feet tall, each made of pure Voidsteel. They were nigh-immune to damage, but if all were destroyed the Tower would fall. Anyone who went near the Monoliths was struck with visions. They would learn of Eva and how she’d made the Tower to defend reality. Some of these would found the Order of the Watch, dedicated to the Tower’s defense. They alone could pass through the Tower without harm. The feather Narus has left behind was integrated into the heart of the Tower, powering it up.

The Monoliths were scattered across Ocaeril, from the depths of the sea to the highest mountains, from the deep forests to the deserts. They would be defended by the Angled Ones, mighty beings that were made of the distortion of reality around the Monoliths. They would only allow the pure of heart to enter the Tower. Magic and Chakra failed to affect them, and only Voidsteel could injure them.

The Tower itself allowed travel through the universe. If one were to step into its labyrinthine halls, you could go anywhere in the world with ease. The problem was that the Tower was intelligent, and the architecture was alive and dangerous. Navigation was nearly impossible without Eva’s aid, and the writhing geometry of Absolute Order was painful to see.

The Tower’s function was to control the various dimensions of reality, such as the Warp or Dreamlands, reducing the most harmful influences on Ocaeril. It also warded reality itself, preventing incursions from the Quantum Void.

There were roughly three sections of the Tower. The Base supported everything else, and was filled with halls and tunnels. The Stem was the main body of the Tower, containing rooms upon rooms and stairs. The Summit was the highest level, composed of windows and balconies, and held the Throne of Eva. From it, Eva could see all reality spread out beneath her.

The Tower held numerous Chambers of Guf, each manifesting as a white hole in reality. A small number of Angels patrolled the halls, maintaining the colossal Tower. If an evil being died in the Tower they would be reborn as a statuesque Guardian, condemned to defend the Tower until they were redeemed or the Tower fell. If they were redeemed, they would be allowed to pass on.

  • Original stood in shock, bringing his gloved hand up to his mouth in a faux-gasp as Ickol spoke, before slumping back against the spear, twirling around it as he spoke

"Oh~~ My love~! You break my heart! How could you!? And to think there is another? Who mote he be? and why oh why must we part~? Hast thou forgotten my loving embrace~? That which you felt at-"

Original then went down an extensive list of various locations and dates, all of which were places and times Ickol had, well, 'courted' what she presumed to be a human or member of some other wordly race. Fortunately he didn't list all of them, but a good chunk. Original again slumped against the spear, remaining in her way and letting a depraved smile be seen beyond his fake black tears.

"Well, looks like I'm done here."

And with that, Nergal ran off. Where to, he didn't really know. He just wanted to get away before something ended up happening to him. he may be insane, but he wasn't suicidal, and that spaceship was nothing but trouble.

The goddess burst out laughing. She was wiping tears from her eyes, her voice hitching with hiccups as she looked at Original. It wasn’t any real logic that made her decide what she did next. One could say she was carrying forward that relief at being her honest self with Meryl, or simply believing Original to be so insignificant that lying to him would be worthless. So... she didn’t.

Ha ha! Maaaaaan, you really are a fucking creep, ain’t cha? So eager to get a barb in, oops! That one was an accident, sorry! Then again, so was everything you’ve ever made, no, probably even the moment the ol’ VL spit you into the cosmos with the rest of us! Pftttt, okay, okay, that one was me having fun, I’ll stop. After all, why even bother insulting you? Heh, I mean, what’s even the point of giving you any attention at all?

She plops down in the grass, the headless body at her side, as she looks at Original and chuckles. There is none of the irritation or disgust he had been hoping for. Her voice isn’t even mocking, it’s like she’s genuinely thinking this is the most hysterical thing she’s seen in years.

Oh man, oh man! You try so hard don’t you? All to piss me off? You think you’ve ever been discreet about it? Kid, I *taught* this world the idea of lying the moment after Rube-arion invented truth. You couldn’t lie to me to save your life! Just always chattering away with that doofus smile and those cheap flirts, I bet you actually thought I believed you! You go through all this effort, all this time, play this stalker role for so long and you actually think any of it fucking mattered? Get over yourself, quilldick. You couldn’t even act in an erotic show at a cheap cabaret. Nice job getting the names, though. You’re a hard worker, I’ll admit. Shame none of that translates into anything worthwhile, am I right? Bwa heh he!

She pauses to catch her breath.
That’s why you hate me, right? Aw, did mean Ickol bweak your widdle pweices of cwap? And that was so fucking long ago, Void’s shaft but you’re persistent! I was doing my job, Original. Because, hey, weirdly enough, that’s the one thing you’re not! Original! You cobble together shit and act surprised that the result is still fucking shit! Man, it’s a hella good thing you can copy. After all, basically any other person can do it better than you. But no, big bad Ickol doesn’t think you’re a special widdle snowfwake so you’ll show her by keeping up the same repetitive stalker-vomit schtick until the end of time! I’ll be one hundred percent honest with you, my dude: I really don’t hate you. I don’t like being around you, but that’s because you’re a tryhard. It’s cringy as all get out seeing you try to get my attention because you’re butthurt I called your complete-tool ass out on your total bumblefuckery. I don’t like being around you, Original, because you are the one person I legitimately pity, and that’s one of the most uncomfortable things to me. I even let you be since the creation to do what you want, and you still piss the bed! Listen up! I. Don’t. Care. I never have, it wasn’t personal! You’re probably the one god I haven’t actually gone out of my way to screw over at least once for an unjustified reason. So, we can sit here, go through your little show like usual. You play the pervert, I act all grossed out, yadda yadda, I pretend not to be fucking embarrassed at your amateur hour bullshit while you chuckle to yourself at how well you’re hiding your impotent rage at me. Or! You can just give me what I came for, and you can... I don’t know, do whatever it is you do. Touch yourself and cry to everyone else’s much cooler shit? You do you, man.

She leans back and smiles expectantly at him and the spear.

Original raises an eyebrow.

"Come again missy? I didn't quite catch all that, you been suckin' balloons?"

Original raises an eyebrow.

Gah ha ha! You’re still going? Wow, just wow. Alright, alright, I can respect it. Probably the only thing anyone can respect about you but whatever. Seriously just give me the stupid spear. It was a gift from Yimor before Inquidiot knocked them off. It doesn’t do much, at least not by our standards, but I’m not exactly in the mood to just let any rando grab what’s mine. Headless here knocked it through a portal when we were fighting, and I’m not the type to just leave my crap wherever if I know where it is. Come on, just gimme already, piss-eyes!

  • In the nearby past...

Ocaeril's shard listened intently to Tanya as she spoke, sitting down comfortably some ways next to her. His face didn't change, but he listened anyway, playing with his rubber-like fingers, small stretching sounds could be heard from him, before soon, with a simple smile and chuckle, the shard got himself up, but patted Tanya on the head gently enough- before flicking her forehead! Ow, that hurt...

"Hey, hey, I may be a shard, but I already told you, didn't I? You're welcome here as long as you don't go a route of pain and suffering. You've always been welcomed- ever since I was a kid, you know!" His hand moved left and right, as pulling out his umbrella, he held it above his head, protecting him from the sun rays, as he kept speaking. "But, really, if I learned anything about being a direct father of most species you see in this body of mine, is that a parent's love is something great when it's genuine. If your father and mom truly love you, then they'll accept you as you are now. After all, growing up is a part of 'evolution', wouldn't you say? And if they don't, then I'll have a word or two to say to them- and no, those aren't fightin' words, don't worry about it~"

With yet another chuckle and a wave of his hands as he twirled, a portal/gap appeared in front of Tanya, leading to where she wanted to go- home of Chakra, Konoha.

    "
Have fun there, and stay safe, eh? I'd hate if more stuff happened to you the moment I took my break!" Quite literally. He really needs that break.
Tanya walked over to the portal but before fully entering, she looked back at Ocaeril and let out a small smile.

"Thank you for your words Ocaeril, I promise I'll stay safe"

Tanya then went into the portal, fully entering the lands of Konoha, as she landed into Konoha, she took a Cloak out of nowhere and draped it upon herself, pulling open the hood, and with that, her identity was gone, to others, she was simply a wanderer, an adventurer to most.

As she went to Konoha, flashing the medallion she gave to all of her close ones to show that they came in her name, she wondered absentmindedly if her mother and father would take kindly to her nature as a Lich now.

Perhaps a thought for another day.

For now, it was time to meet the Hokage of Konoha, win a war and help make more towns to make more money.

As Tanya appeared on the other side of the portal, the which soon disappeared, leaving only empty air behind her- she could see that the location she currently was on wasn't Konoha- at least not fully. Massive trees bigger then some might expect them to be stood around on- the forest was thick, vegetation was everywhere, and the imposing, massive trees stood like monoliths around her. A part of her mind could remind of why the land Konoha stood on was this massive. The First Hokage, Tuldor Otsutsuki, had the legendary Wood Release Technique- allowing him to surround the village in massive trees, impeding most people to go through the thick forest and vegetation in case of an attack, and allow his people to use said trees as vantage points in case of a war.

While these forests did have some blood in them in terms of bandits, maybe some simple monsters and whatnot, large scale conflict thankfully never happened. Turns out that being on an island was useful, too, for stuff like this.

However, not too far away in the distance, but still decently far so someone couldn't see the portal being open behind Tanya, she could see the massive walls and gates leading to Konoha in the dirt path she currently stood. A few Jonin, Konoha's 'guardsmen' and one of the highest ranks of Shinobi the town had to offer could be seen protecting the gate. It was easily in the morning, and not much seemed to be occurring- people weren't coming in or not.

However, thankfully, she passed through them without much trouble. The Jonin did give her a glance and an overall rundown- basic safety measures, but soon, she was inside the Hidden Leaf Village once they realized who she was- or rather, she got in Konoha.

The town had a very comfortable feeling to it. While in the past when Hole had attacked with its rain, Konoha did get a heavy hit like most other nations, but they soon managed to recover. The buildings here seemed to have been specifically built so someone could run atop them at great speeds, jumping one by one- some inns here and their shops vending unique foods, some surprisingly modern housing, too- indeed, Konoha has surely grown over time, both by themselves, and the recent usage of a certain artifact that Tanya in all likelihood wasn't aware of.

Its citizens seemed to come from all walks of life. Humans, Nekomatus, Slimefolk, Elves, (who seemingly wore more pretty clothing, given their ancestry) and some strange-looking humans with white skin and horns, with occasionally some Zeruelim acting as shop owners, using their many tentacles to cook up all sorts of pastries.

They paid no attention to Tanya, however. Probably for the best. Still, it was rather impressive to see so many species living together like this. Some even considering one another family.

...Then again, the original founders were a colorful cast, weren't they?

The Hokage building was by far the biggest one and it was hard to miss, given it seemed to be attached to the large rocky hill with the face of the last two Hokages- Tuldor, and Ashura Otsutsuki. The direct family of Inqui's second incarnate. The building seemed less of a palace-like one might think, and more like an office space. Like a mayor's office in a town. It just...Seemed different. From what Tanya could remember, the third Hokage was a woman by the name of Marisa Kokube. An old lady in her eighties, daughter of what was apparently a trainee of one of the Big Three- or Sannin, how they call it here on Konoha.

She was currently helping Konoha expand its borders and allying herself up with other communities from the fractured empire, seemingly have invented Chakra Tech- things like mechanical Justus, working much like classic magic scrolls. Just...More mechanical. She seemingly was also focusing on healing and making hospitals, having spread the usage of the previously niche Medical Ninjutsu, used in surgeries and other types of ailments.

It was up to Tanya to decide what to offer her, but, it might not be entirely easy, even if they're allies... It all depends on what she says.

"Honey, you got a frog in'ya throat? I can't quite catch'ya meanin'!"

Original didn't show it, but he was really, really enjoying this. He wondered if she would continue to use her normal voice or actually go back to her fake one, regardless it would be funny.

Awwwwww what, you ignoring all insults or whatever? Well, who cares? Like I said, I don’t care about you.

The goddess stood and stretched, still seemingly at ease and strolled over, grabbing the spear.

Well, I’m already bored. But hey! A beautiful goddess paid attention to you for like, two minutes. Congratulations, you can die happy now. Now if you’ll excuse me, kindly let go.

The spear Ickol grabbed happened to be a wooden duplicate, one that gave her a splinter as she grabbed it. Original now stood beside another spear. This one presumably being the real one.

"Sorry tuts but I just can't quite make sense'a what'ya sayin! You tryna do an impression? Gonna need ya' to fix'yer voice! I ain't fluent in whatever language this s'posed'ta be!"

As Snake floated through time and space, he weighed his situation. The shard had been set free, and was bound to return in a few scant years searching for allies and a way out, as far as he could tell the portal was a one way trip, he'd need to rip his way through the fabric of reality to get back here, which would take a good chunk of his strength. It would leave him vulnerable. He couldn't be allowed to leave this realm of space, lest he locate more of the shards. But Snake wouldn't be able to fight him alone.

He would need friends.

Ones in powerful places. He warped to the nearest aura of powerful mana he could find, that being of Ocaeril.

"I could use some assistance."

Well, it was less 'mana' and more like...Natural energy, really. While Ocaeril's presence was noteworthy and very noticeable, him being the avatar and the manifestation of the literal consciousness of the planet, 'mana' and the like haven't existed in the world for...A while. What Snake felt was different. More raw and natural. Something from the depths of Ocaeril's own soul that seemed to obviously expand across the entire planet, present in every living being- something akin to 'life energy.' His was dense, extremely so, as he was the one ho 'created' this alternate type of 'mana' which used the energy from the subconscious, the soul, and the body itself.

But of course, that wasn't important, and the ramblings of an extra-dimensional being going 'akschually' aside, he would, indeed, find Ocaeril.

...Problem was, or rather- the problems were two very noteworthy things. For one, Snake would find himself in a bedroom in what appeared to be a simple, little humble home. Outside, beautiful scenery of trees and the like could be seen, and he recognizes it- this was the world tree. And this was...Ocaeril's home. More specifically, his bedroom.

In front of him, in a double bed, stood the blonde-haired, human-looking, literal manifestation of the planet, and god of evolution. Wearing what appeared to be a black sweater acting as pajamas, and next to him, Inqui Rey from Elarya, the aspect of Aqua turned to god, sleeping next to him. It was the middle of the night in this part of the planet, it seemed. And, while Ocaeril was tired, he very much so still was himself- attentive, careful- and would obviously fucking hear someone speaking right next to him.

His eyes opened almost instantly, but he didn't move from his spot- his head popping up from the blanket, as with a straight face, he looked directly at Snake, eyes heavy despite not needing sleep, as he stares for one, two, three seconds.

Inhaaaaale...Exhaaaaale.

"Man, I'm gonna scream so loudly in the next like, 5 seconds it's going to wake the entire house up. So do you mind explaining who you are so I don't have to tie my entire family into a home break-in attempt by...Whoever?"
