Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

Xavier looked up at Aaron from where he sat. "Come here" He said. "I've missed you" His voice was soft and loving. He'd been coming here a lot, but he missed being here with Aaron more. He wanted nothing more than to be wrapped up in his arms.

Aaron couldn’t contain his smile and excitement as he quickly sat down with Xavier. “Let’s never fight again, okay?” he said, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and taking him in a tight, warm embrace. Once again, Xavier was his, and his alone.

Xavier sighed happily, wrapped in the warm embrace of his boyfriend. His head turned into his chest. "I never want to fight with you again" He murmured, curling closer into Aaron's side. The pine scent wrapping around him. He brought his head up, looking at Aaron with a soft smile. He rested his head on his shoulder before he started humming. He hadn't sung in forever, but he was so happy to have Aaron back that he couldn't help himself. "I'll tell the world, I'll sing a song, It's a better place since you came along, Since you came along, Your touch is sunlight through the trees, Your kisses are the ocean breeze, Everything's alright when you're with me, And you're my favorite thing, all the love that you bring, Well, it feels like I've opened my eyes again, And the colors are golden and bright again, There's a song in my heart, I feel like I belong, It's a better place since you came along, It's a better place since you came along, I see the whole world in your eyes, It's like I've known you all my life, We just feel so right, So I pour my heart into your hands, It's like you really understand, You love the way I am, It's a better place since you came along, Now I'm alright, Everything's alright" His voice was sweet, full of love and happiness. He was with the love of his life again, feeling like he was on cloud nine. He curled closer into Aaron after he was done singing.

Aaron closed his eyes, his heart beating softly and slowly, his breathing calm. He then began to feel that warm feeling of love in his chest as Xavier began to hum, soon singing to him. He had missed that heavenly singing voice of Xavier’s. Maybe it wasn’t enough to make him a famous celebrity but to Aaron, Xavier was his rock star and had the best singing voice in the world. He was glad that this voice was his and reserved for him only. Aaron let Xavier’s soft singing soothe him, and he smiled gently as he listened to every word. Once his boyfriend was done with his sweet serenade, Aaron felt Xavier curl up closer to him. “Beautiful as always, love,” whispered Aaron. “Missed that a whole lot mate,” he said.

Xavier blushed, turning his head into Aaron's chest shyly. "Thanks" He said, voice muffled a little. He had missed singing for Aaron, he missed being in his arms and he just missed it all. "I missed you a lot" He said, moving his head a little so he could actually talk, but not moving much more. He felt his eyes closing, the exhaustion that had been tugging at him for the last two months finally forcing itself on him. He hummed before he yawned, tucking his head back into Aaron's chest. He was happy, he was warm and he felt loved again.

Aaron felt at peace once more. For the first time in months he was finally happy. Of course, the key factor to his happiness was having Xavier by his side again, loving him. He was glad they weren’t fighting any more.

It had been almost three months since Aaron and Xavier had made up. Classes were going much better for Xavier now that they were back together. His marks went back up and he was happy. He had Aaron back, his marks were back to where he liked them and pretty soon it was the end of June. June 30th which was a day that would go down in history. Xavier and Aaron had just finished their last class exam and had been walking the castle's halls just talking and hanging out, enjoying the others presence. What the pair didn't realize was they were walking towards a battle. Xavier saw a few students from Dumbledore's Army pass by and he snagged one of them. "What's going on?" He asked. "There's some intruders in the far tower, we're going to help" Xavier looked at Aaron, a glint in his eye. "Wanna join 'em?" He asked, he was itching to test out some of the spells they'd been learning and what better way than on intruders. He had no idea those intruders would turn out to be Death Eaters.

The months passed on and Aaron and Xavier were closer than ever before. It was nice to be back together again and Aaron was very glad that they had made up. Eventually, exam season rolled along and Aaron studied hard, often having late night sessions staying up with Xavier. The tests eventually came and Aaron was able to take them with no problem. Today, Aaron had just finished his last final exam and found himself walking through the halls with Xavier, leisurely talking and hanging out, a smile on his face. Suddenly, their moment was interrupted as he recognized a member of Dumbledore’s Army going through the hall with some urgency. He was confused to see such a large group of them and Xavier had managed to get one of their attention. Aaron’s eyes widened as they informed them that there was apparently an intruder at Hogwarts. Not even thinking about the future safety concerns, Aaron looked to Xavier and nodded quickly. “Yes,” he replied, “We’ve got to help them,” said Aaron, wanting to make himself of use. He knew his boyfriend had a good heart and was eager to be of assistance too. Aaron wanted to defend Hogwarts because not only did it mean defending his peers and classmates, but to him, it meant defending Xavier from harm.

Xavier nodded to Aaron, a smile on his face. "Let's go" He said, leading the way as they followed the others, his wand already in his free hand. He stopped in his tracks when they found the intruders. Seven Death Eaters stood in the hallway, Seven members of Dumbledore's army, including Aaron and Xavier, were blocking their path. He squared his shoulders, held his wand and stepped up, joining the others. It seemed the numbers were even and the world was still for a moment before the Death Eaters charged, Xavier immediately went into action. He saw the Death Eater in front of him raise his wand and Xavier wasted no time. "Expelliarmus" He said, knocking their wand away. The cloaked Death Eater continued further, not deterred with losing his wand. Xavier dodged as they went to hit him. He pointed his wand and yelled "Everte Statum" which sent the Death Eater flying backwards, hitting the stone floor on his back. He smirked as he tried to get up, and Xavier cast the spell again, sending the Death Eater further back, slamming him into the wall and knocking him out.

Aaron nodded and hustled with determination to follow the rest of the members of Dumbledore’s Army on their way to the far tower where the intruders had supposedly penetrated. Aaron’s heart pounded in his chest as he got his first good look at a Death Eater. The dark cloaked and masked figures were intimidating. Aaron’s first thought was that these were the people that had killed Jacob Cromwell. He was motivated not to let these freaks take another innocent life. Aaron watched as it all happened so fast. He saw Xavier quickly spring into action, using a few of the spells they had learned in Defense Against the Dark Arts. They were really coming in handy. Aaron’s eyes widened as Xavier seemed to so effortlessly take the Death Eaters out. It was incredibly attractive and bad ass seeing Xavier knock the wand out of one of their hands and even blasting one of the Death Eaters backwards.

Xavier had smirked when he knocked out the one, before turning and seeing another headed past him. Oh no you don't He thought. As the figure headed past him, he sent his body sideways, knocking them over to the ground. He might not be tall, but he was stronger than he used to be. He saw them raise their wand and he didn't think twice as he cast the Expellarimus and sent the wand flying off to the side. He ducked as another Death Eater sent a spell towards him. He remembered the binding charm, and he cast it at the one who'd sent the spell, the entire Death Eaters body frozen up. He felt at home, casting spells and protecting what was his.

Aaron felt a bit useless as he was honestly too busy admiring his boyfriend and being in awe at his skillful use of magic. He ducked and dodged the occasional spell that was cast towards him. Clearly, Death Eaters had no regard for life, and they certainly didn’t mind killing children. Aaron cast a couple of Expelliaramus spells but both missed. If anything, he provided a good distraction that kept the Death Eaters’ minds on making sure they still had their wands in their hands. But Aaron couldn’t help but watch as his boyfriend looked like a hot badass casting spells left and right and handling adult Death Eaters as only a sixteen year old.

Xavier was in his element, unfortunately there were still three more Death Eaters. How many had made it into the castle? He was fighting off one, sending them flying with the everte statum spell but out of the corner of his eye, he saw one headed right for Aaron. I don't think so He thought, shifting on his feet and ran after him. He managed to catch up the Death Eater just as he was pulling his wand out. Xavier barreled into him knocking them both onto the ground. He leapt up, kicking the wand away before casting the binding charm. He looked over at Aaron. He was safe. Good. Then he winked at him, before facing off against the last Death Eater. He was breathing hard, his wand tight in his hand. The other members of the DA stood beside him, but they turned to look at Xavier, a silent acknowledgement that he could have the first spell. And so he did, he sent the Death Eater backwards, before the others finished him off. All seven Death Eaters were either killed on accident, bound, or knocked out. Xavier took a step back, walking over towards Aaron trying to catch his breath.

The battle continued and chaos ensued. Aaron and never been in a situation quite like this before, and he was pretty sure Xavier hadn’t either. Yet, his boyfriend handled it perfectly, like he had been here before. He cast his spells so comfortably and looked so good while doing it, taking out Death Eaters all over the place. When there appeared to be only one Death Eater left, Aaron saw Xavier turn back and look at him, giving him a wink. It made his eyes widen and his heart flutter, a small pink blush tinting his cheeks. He didn’t know Xavier could look any more attractive. Eventually, Xavier had successfully taken out the last Death Eater. Aaron could see he was breathing heavily but he couldn’t get over the fact at how bad ass he looked. The coast seemed to be clear and Aaron looked around. It seemed the other members of the DA were unharmed and okay. “Bloody hell mate, that was impressive,” said Aaron breathlessly to his boyfriend.

Xavier looked at Aaron, tucking his wand away. He seemed to finally catch his breath as he walked over, fixing his hair as he moved. "Thanks, that was crazy" He admitted. He wasn't sure what had happened, but it was like something in him snapped. He had to protect Aaron, He had to protect the other students, and so he had reacted. He wrapped his arms around Aaron, needing the reassurance that he was safe, in his arms and unharmed. Driven by the adrenaline still in his veins, he leaned up and kissed Aaron. Time seemed to freeze around them, but what happens next will haunt Xavier.

“Well you looked like a bloody maniac! Well done love,” said Aaron, smiling and staring into Xavier’s pretty brown eyes lovingly. He was happy to have Xavier safe in his arms and embrace as they shared a hug. He blushed ever so slightly as he felt a soft kiss from Xavier grace his skin. His heart rate slowly began to steady as it seemed that all of the action was over. They had done it- they (mostly Xavier) had fended off the Death Eaters successfully and defended Hogwarts.

"Heh, I tried my best" He rubbed the back of his neck as he pulled apart from the hug. A scream cut through the air then, and Xavier looked over at Aaron. "What the hell" He said, walking over to the side of the castle, looking out the window. A figure was falling from the top of the tower. A figure with long blue/gray robes and a long white bear and hair. Headmaster Dumbledore. Xavier could only watch as his Headmaster hit the ground below, not moving. It couldn't be, no. He can't be. Xavier froze, his eyes locked on the still body.

The short tender moment was quickly interrupted by a scream. Aaron’s eyes widened as his head perked up. His heart began to beat fast once more and he was now on high alert. Aaron walked over to the window with Xavier. What he saw shocked and shook him to his core. He saw a figure- a body, falling from the tower. His heart skipped a beat and he gasped, not processing who the body was yet. All he was was the insane sight of a body falling through the air. He realized all too late as soon as the body hit the floor that those familiar robes and long white beard belonged to none other than the school’s headmaster- their headmaster: Albus Dumbledore.

Aaron’s stomach sank and he remained still. He was slowly processing the fact that he had just witnessed the death of headmaster Dumbledore. His heart dropped as he saw the unmoving body of the old man, dead on the ground. Albus Dumbledore was dead. The man who had been nothing but kind to them and all students. A man who tried to keep Hogwarts safe in anyway he could and a man who tried to make the school as welcoming as possible to all children, regardless of blood status.

The wise old wizard now laid dead on the floor down below. Dumbledore had been the one to retrieve Jacob Cromwell’s body when he had died and was most likely the one to tell the Cromwell family of Jacob’s death and no doubt, console them. Dumbledore had nothing but a good and kind heart but now, he was gone. Aaron’s next thoughts went to who had done this. Who could’ve killed their beloved headmaster?

Xavier looked over at Aaron, taking his boyfriends hand in his. He had a sinking feeling that there was a traitor in the school. Someone had let those Death Eaters in, and someone had killed their Headmaster. He remembered leading the old wizard to Jacob's body in the third year. He had been so kind and sweet to Aaron and respectful when he had taken care of Jacob. Xavier couldn't believe his eyes as he took in the sight below him. What would happen now? What had caused this breach. He looked out at the gates to see a few more Death Eaters fleeing. His free hand tightened in an angry fist as he watched them. They would pay. For now though, it was a time to grieve. He moved closer to Aaron, his head falling to rest on his shoulder, needing the comfort as more students and professors now flooded the field below.

What hurt the most was that a good man was now dead and gone. A powerful wizard, high up, especially at Hogwarts, who believed in equality in the wizarding world. Dumbledore was a man who believed that all students deserved a chance to learn and practice magic, whether you were pure blooded, half blooded, or even completely muggle born. He made it his duty to defend this school and its pupils and now somehow, Death Eaters had infiltrated the grounds and now Dumbledore was dead. It only grew Aaron’s hatred towards the Death Eaters. They had killed Jacob Cromwell, and now, Albus Dumbledore. They were most likely responsible for Cedric Diggory’s death too in some way. More people were going to die if something wasn’t done to stop Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Aaron couldn’t stand by and let more innocent blood be shed. From that day on he was determined to be on the side of good and to fight against evil. He didn’t shed a tear but watched silently and solemnly as down below, professors rushed to tend to Dumbledore’s still body. He felt Xavier rest his head on his shoulder and he was content to stand there. He selfishly thanked the heavens that Xavier was safe and by his side and that it wasn’t Xavier down there, dead and gone.

Xavier just watched. He couldn't believe this. It wasn't fair, and he was so angry. Such an amazing wizard was taken. Albus Dumbledore was the greatest wizard he'd ever met. Xavier watched as they tended to his body down below. "Aaron, can we go?" He didn't want to watch them take the body away. He knew they'd have a funeral for him, he was too important to the wizarding community and to Hogwarts for them not to. He wanted to be there, pay his respects to the wizard who treated everyone fairly. Treated everyone the way that they should be, regardless of blood status.

Aaron wanted to get out of there as soon as possible so he quickly nodded and welcomed the idea. “Let’s go,” he whispered quietly as he took Xavier by the arm and whisked him away. He tried to get what he had seen out of his mind but he just couldn’t- it was too traumatic. This was one too many deaths he had witnessed here in his time at Hogwarts. Jacob, then Cedric, now their very own headmaster. Dumbledore didn’t deserve this at all.

The two of them had managed to get away from the scene. In fact, they had gone to their secret room where the pair could relax in each others arms. The sadness and anger flowing away as they held each other tight. A few days later on July 3rd was the funeral for their beloved Headmaster. Xavier wore his nice suit, sitting beside Aaron. The funeral itself was beautiful, it was sweet and it was heartbreaking. Xavier felt an underlying anger towards the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort. They had attacked the school, killed Dumbledore and it had been gnawing at Xavier's mind. Shortly after the funeral, it was time to head home. Xavier packed his trunk with a solemn mood, neither him or Ryan talking. It didn't take long to get to the train, him and Aaron settled on the train beside each other.

When they got to the station, they hugged each other tight, sharing a good bye kiss before parting. Xavier was back home for the rest of summer. He was scared, worried and he didn't want to be alone. More than once he was tempted to try to Apparate to Aaron but he didn't have a good enough destination and he didn't want to mess it up. On August 23rd, Xavier turned 17. He remembered the first Christmas with Aaron when the boy was convinced they'd be 'old men' when they hit 17. He had laughed to himself that day, but he was worried more. With everything going on, not being beside Aaron was causing him to be nervous that he might not see Aaron again since he wasn't there to protect him.

September 1st 1997 finally rolled around. It was time for their seventh and final year at Hogwarts. Xavier had been taking more jogs but he'd also started training. He used the trees as punching bags, hitting and kicking them. He worked on his agility, jumping over fallen trees as well. He needed to do this, it kept his mind off the nerves and allowed him to work off any nervous energy. His muscle tone was much more defined because of it. His parents waved him off as he stepped onto the train. He'd been looking for Aaron, but he hadn't seen him yet which made his worry increase that he'd never see him again. He slid his trunk under the seat in one compartment, tucking his legs up on the seat, but his gaze was trained on the compartment door, hoping to see even a glimpse of the light brown hair of his boyfriend.

Aaron did end up attending Albus Dumbledore’s funeral with Xavier later that summer in July of 1997. The Gryffindor had tidied himself up nicely for the occasion, paying respects to their headmaster, sitting with Xavier and wearing a smooth black suit. The funeral procession and ceremony itself was fitting of one for such a beloved and kind man. Still, during the whole thing, Aaron couldn’t stop thinking about his anger towards the Death Eaters who did this. They’d already taken away lives he knew and they weren’t going to stop. For not knowing about Lord Voldemort just a few years prior, Aaron certainly felt a hatred towards the dark wizard. With that, Aaron Hoskins’ sixth year at Hogwarts came to a close. The summer rolled along again and was in full swing. Aaron did more of the same than he had done last year over the break, working out and keeping himself occupied. Of course, he missed and long for his boyfriend the entire time.

Before he knew it, he blinked and it was already September 1st, 1997. Aaron’s father would be taking him to King’s Cross Station for a seventh and final time for year seven at Hogwarts. Aaron couldn’t believe he was here- he was going into his seventh and last year at the school. He remembered seven years ago coming to this train station and this unusual platform as a wide-eyed, eager, excited, and innocent young eleven year old boy, thirsting for knowledge and generally clueless about all things wizarding world despite having a magical father. There was a weird feeling of a mixture of excitement, nervousness, dread, and sadness that all seemed to settle at the pit of Aaron’s stomach. It was bittersweet that this was his final year at Hogwarts and he still feared the unknown. The turmoil in the wizarding world was becoming harder and harder to ignore.

Still, Aaron tried to put that to the back of his mind and hugged his father goodbye. Aaron, who was now seventeen, having turned so on July 20th that year, was as tall as his father. He’d grown both in height and muscle mass and was becoming even more of a fine young adult man. His voice was deeper now and resembled one of a boy reaching manhood. Aaron’s features became much more defined and his light brown hair kept a slight wave. Aaron had opted for the less rugged look and kept his hair tidier and neater than he had been the past few years of his teens. Aaron took his trunk, now completely effortlessly despite the heavy load, and headed towards the Hogwarts Express to board the train.

Aaron tried to keep thoughts of Quidditch and making out with his boyfriend in his head to avoid thinking about his growing worries about the ever growing power of Voldemort and the Death Eaters. At some point during the summer, potions master Severus Snape had been appointed by the Ministry of Magic as headmaster of Hogwarts, taking over for the late Dumbledore. The handsome young Gryffindor teen traversed the aisles of the train, looking for a familiar sight of Xavier. Like he had a radiant detect the Hufflepuff, he quickly found him sitting in an empty compartment alone. “Xaie!” Aaron exclaimed, “Alright?” he asked his boyfriend with a smile, taking his luggage into the compartment and settling in.

Xavier had been keeping his gaze on the compartment's door. Every face he saw that wasn't Aaron only fed the fear in his stomach that he'd been found by Death Eaters over the summer. He let his legs down at some point, though the worry in his eyes was evident. He had reached his peak height a year ago, though he'd filled out over the summer with his workout, he still felt short. He was as tall as his father, but his father wasn't that tall either. His bangs had grown out a little over the summer too. His face lit up and the worry evaporated from his heart when he saw Aaron, who had gotten even more handsome over the summer and a few inches taller, come into the compartment. He automatically went over to Aaron and gave him a hug. He was safe, he hadn't been taken by Death Eaters. "Aaron" He said softly. "I'm so glad to see you" His tone betrayed how worried he'd been even though Aaron was here in his arms. "I missed you this summer" He admitted.
