As quickly as it had appeared, the portal disappeared with a 'woosh'.
A young girl was tossed onto the ground, the portal having spit her out. The ears atop her head lowered, and her expression began to change from one of shock to one of confusion. Rising to her feet, she dusted off her clothes and took a look around. This place was unfamiliar; a seemingly empty alleyway in a strange city. She took a deep breath, trying her hardest to remember what could've possibly happened here.
That was a year or so ago - give or take some. She wasn't exactly sure of the date, or anything surrounding that incident. Ender still didn't know why or how she had ended up in this world, but she was alright now. Currently, she was sitting behind the counter in a shop. This place was hers. She sold potions here - all sorts of them. They filled up shelves on either wall; bottles and vials of various liquids. Ones to heal you, ones that could change your appearance, and so on. Honestly, she wasn't really sure how she figured out how to make these concoctions. She supposed it maybe just... came to her naturally? She wasn't sure about a lot of things regarding herself. It was strange then, and it still was thinking about it. How could you not know so many important things?
Ender sighed, resting her head on her hand. She glanced out the front window. It was dark, but the city was alive as it always was. Cars passed by, people were out on the street. The usual. She wondered if anyone would come here tonight or if she should close up shop. Maybe she'd wait just a little longer...
