True, but perhaps he doesn’t know? He may just find them curious. Annabel, a woman, and a fighter and a street gang leader would be a bit odd to him, and Cale, with a fully armored bodyguard but defenseless himself, signifies he must be someone important.

Exactly, and Annabel didn't talk about the castle maid part to him either. She was only meant to serve the king and queen, and to protect the innocent Ezerisians from the criminals with her gang. However, Annabel is being forced to become a princess from out of nowhere.

Poor Annabel. She doesn't know how to rule a kingdom, and doesn't believe in the whole looking like the king and queen of Ezeris thing. Annabel is honestly going to be terrified to do that, and as soon as there is proof about her royal heritage. She is going to be more upset and mad about that. Her royal family is dead, and their greed ruined everything.
