Mackenzie smile, leaning in to kiss Will's lips soft before nodding. "We need to get the two of them prepped anyways." She said quietly. As much as she knew Ash would have a fit over the ring and not being included in the whole event it would shortly overshadowed by her leaving tonight with Elijah. Mac didn't know what would happen tonight, despite her ill feelings, she could only hope that at least they would be safe tucked away from the colony. She extracted herself from her love's lap, thumb still playing over the edges of the cool metal encircling her finger; it still seemed too surreal. She held out her hand the help him up, "Time to face the music, love."

Malcolm nodded, giving Chase a pat on the shoulder; the man seemed ever confident in the positive side of life, despite all that had happened to him recently. "One can hope." He admitted lightly, glancing back between Jordan and Emile, noting the latter having grown quiet, his features stern. He leaned in towards Chase and spoke a little softer. "You might want to get him out of here before he starts a fight."

Emile never had the patience for other species - no matter how closely related they may be to himself, and he had far less when it came to those that were overly arrogant. Despite Jordan being seemingly unaware of his comments potentially offending the Alpha he growled lowly to the kitsune. "We do not obey, fox. You want your friend here, you go find." He had enough things to do to get the pack ready for the evening, parading around the kitsune and his friends was certainly not on his list.

William returned Mackenzie's kiss before nodding, somewhat somberly. He knew she was right: the window for Elijah and Ash's departure would be arriving soon. He'd rather they be on the road earlier than necessary, solely for the added safety. With each passing minute nightfall and the ensuing fool moon drew nearer and the Pack would tighten their net around the Colony, increasing the chances that they might follow or even intercept any vehicles that left.

Will took Mac's offered hand with a smile, standing up and interlacing his fingers with hers before leading the way into the foyer. He led Mackenzie to the living room, "I'll go get them," he said, gesturing to the couch. He made his way to Addy's bedroom first, raising his fist to knock when to his surprise the door swung open from the other side.

rsz_adelaide_4.jpg
Adelaide was grinning from ear to ear as she looked at William. The man rolled his eyes, but couldn't hide his own smile. "You were eavesdropping."

Addy feigned offense, scoffing. "As if I had any choice. You were so damn happy I felt it from here without even trying. Even I felt like celebrating. Speaking of which, I'm assuming she said yes?" Will nodded with a smile. Addy leaned in to wrap her arms around him in a hug. "I'm happy for you both. Does Ash know?" She paused, answering her own question. "Oh, you're in for it now. She's in her room, packing for tonight. Good luck, I'll be with Mac."
Addy slid past William with a sympathetic glance before making her way toward the living room. She entered, making a beeline toward Mac and embracing the woman. "How's it feel?" she asked excitedly.

Will, meanwhile, made his way somewhat hesitantly to Ashley-May's bedroom, knocking twice at the door before speaking through it, "Hey, Ash. Mac and I have some news and we wanted to see you off for tonight. We're in the living room when you're ready." With that, he turned and walked anxiously back to Addy & Mac, uncertain of what wrath was awaiting him when Ash figured out about his deception.

The growl should have been something Jordan could have brushed off, but it caught the Kitsune off guard and he looked at the Alpha, his mask of diplomacy replaced with amused malevolence. Jordan may have spent millennia molding himself into a being of a peaceful, tolerant and understanding mind but at his core he was still an abomination created by Eve and the idea that Emile would dare to bare his teeth and disrespect him in such a manner was most entertaining. A slow smile started to creep onto his lips but immediately stopped.

Jordan put his hands up in surrender and managed to regain his composure, "Now, now... let's not say things that might start a war neither of our sides can afford to finish~" Jordan tried to appease the Alpha, "I do apologize if my words were somewhat offensive... you are not the only one not used to dealing with other monsters, I meant no disrespect. It seems an alliance shall take more effort on both sides than I originally calculated. You are a busy man, I shall not hold you from your duties as Alpha any longer... instead I would coordinate with your second in command while you tend to them?" Jordan offered, gesturing to Malcolm, it was a question born of necessity as Jordan wasn't sure that this Emile could keep his composure while talking and it would be counterproductive if Jordan responded in kind. He was getting quite tired of respecting the feelings of these wolves while they threw indignities at him.

Chase raised a brow as Malcolm suggested he distract the Alpha. He let out a small tired huff, momentarily wondering how Chase ended up in this position exactly. Wasn't it technically the Beta's job to help keep the Alpha in check? Yet the Beta wanted him to. Chase momentarily considered telling him he wasn't Emile's keeper but it occurred to him that Malcolm was doing the smart thing. Get the hotheaded loudmouth to take the prideful and on edge Alpha away from the Kitsune, essentially killing two birds with one stone by making sure neither say something they'd regret. The epiphany came with a rather blank look followed by a small amused smile at how easily the two of them were read by Malcolm and handled, in this moment he realized why Malcolm was the Beta and that he was the man fit for the job.

Though before he could take the mans advice their guest was quick in his attempt to diffuse any potential situations. But Chase got the feeling Emile wouldn't take well to the Fox suggesting what the pack Alpha should do. He was shaking his head internally but stepped forwards so that he was more in front of Emile, speaking up in a specific attempt to interrupt any retorts the older man might be about to spout. "Works for us, right?" The look he was giving Emile was one telling him to agree considering the rhetorical question, though he turned to glance at Malcolm over his shoulder even though the man had suggested this to begin with, it'd make the Beta look more innocent.

"We're needed elsewhere as it is." Chase said in what was likely a momentary farewell to the Kitsune, taking a few steps beyond the Alpha but pausing to wait for him and to see if he'd take the hint to leave. He had no destination personally in mind other than just walking away. If this situation had arisen similarly with anyone else Chase would have just forcefully dragged them away if need be, or at least nudge them away with an arm. But Emile was the Alpha of the pack and speaking to the leader of the Kitsune's group, doing that would undermine him or make him look weak in some way. This much Chase understood, that his relationship with the man only gave him so much room, it was annoying as hell if he was honest, but a fact. In a less serious situation surrounded by other pack members he could have gotten away with it, but not in this situation with this particular company.

It didn't take long for Solomon to exit the Colony, waving to the watchman as he passed through the gate, but the issue was how was he going to set up the magic formations. Spray paint while easy and effective can be easily broken and rendered useless. Carving it into the ground seemed like a better idea, but the result is still the same. Dig far enough the the formation will break. Solomon would stand just outside of the Colony looking at the multiple arrays of different magical warding the Colony had employed. Looking at the positions of the magic arrays told him where his new magic would be best put and after idlly drawing his dagger Solomon figured out how he was going to draw the formations: by using roots conjured by Pan. Using Pan outside of the Colony would probably cause him to gain the attention of anyone magically inclined not to mention the heavenly host, but at this point if they joined in it would just add another reason for the Pack to leave the Colony be.

With his dilemma decided on Solomon used his command over Pan to have the Wild God bend the roots of nearby trees into the magical array that Solomon had completed recently. Because of the level of detail required within the magical array it would take hours for him to make enough to at least somewhat cover all angles of approach on the Colony, but at least it was better than sitting around worrying.

Mackenzie blinked at Addy came into the room a bubble of happiness, she hugged the other woman back rather awkwardly; as much as they had become closer of the last little while she hadn't thought that they were at 'hugging' yet, but she guessed the occasion called for it. She wondered idly if she might be feeding off some of Will's excitement - she knew well enough Addy couldn't read herself. Mac smiled and shrugged at the question, dark eyes drifting to the ring momentarily. "Good." Her reply almost sounded like a question, but she soon followed up with. "I'm scared."

Before anything more could be said between the two William was joining them, she patted the couch at her side and when he came to sit she leaned against him, hoping to stave off at least some of the emotion that Ash was going to pour onto the man that neglected to include her in everything.

GxQZJgl.jpg

Ashley-May jumped at the sudden knock at her door, turning to face it expecting him to enter but when he said that he had some news she worried. She had been staring off, in all truth, worried about her friends - her family tonight, on both sides of the fight. There was nothing she could do to prevent any of it and worse yet she was going to have to spend the night sitting in the car with a man that didn't want to be near her. She collected her thoughts, and necessities for the evening before slinging the latter over her shoulder and made her way to the living room. She dropped the bags by the front door before turning to face the three on the couch. She frowned slightly at their expressions: Addy looked beside herself, Will looked almost like a child and Mac... Mac looked like she was going to be sick. "What is going on....?"

Malcolm was so very thankful at Chase's quick thinking as he brought distraction from Emile's quick temper away from the fox and diverted him into far more 'important' things to do. He knew well enough that Emile had drilled it into the pack's head that no matter what they were met with: no human was to be injured. He refused to have a repeat of Borseti, enough so that Malcolm had witness the blood bound document between Nest Master and the Alpha; regardless of the vampires claims of ignorance for the last colony, Emile wasn't taking any chances. "This way," He called to Jordan after the kitsune suggested that he attend the Beta. "Let's find your kinsmen and get them caught up."
LucianGrey7971 LucianGrey7971

BRUpige.jpg

Emile had thought to peruse the issue with the fox, annoyed that he had leap to the assumption that he had time to pander to others needs. Yes, he may have invited the kitsune to witness and testify, but that did not make him their mother! Lips parted to speak but soon snapped shut as not only his boyfriend but his Beta both speak on the topic; clearly the two had conspired to keep him silent and as such his closed his mouth with an audible click to his teeth. He, instead, glared at Chase as the younger man came to face him. He considered saying something but understood he had been quick to anger. He gave a short nod before turning to striding towards the remainder of his pack, some of which had come to linger and watch what was occurring between himself and the kitsune. At the sight of the annoyed Alpha heading their direction they scattered, back to what they were readying for the night.

All save for Morgan, the girl watched with a bemused look as first her uncle passed her by before turning the look to Chase, giving him a nod of appreciation.

Jordan watched the "Alpha" be escorted away and kept his nature in check, the part of him that wanted to cause mischief and chaos longed to call out after the wold, to egg him past the point of no return. Fortunately, the sensible side of him won out, the side that had kept him from ripping this little pack to shreds for their insults and disrespect towards him had suppressed the ever present urge to spread malice. It was clear that it was starting to work on his patience because Jordan looked at Malcolm in a way he hadn't looked at someone in centuries, with complete and utter indifference, indifference as to what position the wolf held, indifference towards what the wolf was saying, but most importantly, indifference towards the wolf's life like the only thing stopping him from reaching out and taking it was that it would be a waste of time.

Jordan immediately blinked away the stare and looked at the wolf with a less effective mask of diplomacy, "Ah...yes, of course..." The Kitsune followed the Beta, his movements were not as relaxed as they had been when he appeared in the midst of the pack the both times, his head movements were rigid and frequent as he unconsciously kept the positioning and movements of every pack member they passed in mind, his hand movements were twitchy as opposed to the absent minded slow touching that had been there before. It was however a bit funny, Jordan noted to himself, that he could still be caught off guard the way he was. He let out a small humorless chuckle about it and smoothed his dreads out of his face.

da_ji_series_by_syszeii-d346pgf.jpg

Da Ji may have been the daughter of Inari, but it was clear that his patience was not one of them, "If they take any longer, I'm going to go down there and talk some manners into them. I understand that my father has decided not to just tell the wolves that he is a true Alpha, but this lack of diplomacy is most unforgivable." The girl looked over her fingernails and clothing to make sure that no dirt had gotten onto them, she was unaccustomed to such barbaric settings and found them quite upsetting to say the least. Unlike Himiko and Jordan, she had refused to put on the clothing that they had presented to her, stating that it was too dull and had instead opted for an illusion spell to circumvent stares from humans as to her odd choice in attire, it would have no effect on the wolves mainly because she felt no need to hide herself from monsters.
bae-doo-na-marie-claire-magazine-october-2015-photoshoot-fashion.png

Himiko shook her head at the other's incessant complaining, it was clear that while Da Ji was a most useful ally, the Kitsune had very little diplomacy or respect in her. "I am sure they are on their way to us Da Ji, your whining isn't making it easier. It makes sense that he would leave you behind to keep you from making situations worse...and why I'm stuck babysitting you." She couldn't help but crack a smile at the other's exaggerated offense, what Da Ji lacked in a filter she more than made up for with her humor and her ability to take a joke. Da Ji looked as though she already had a response in the chamber ready to go, one of the perks that came with being Kitsune was that wit was almost as natural as breathing, but before she could loose it they both heard footsteps growing closer.

Adelaide cocked her head as Mackenzie mentioned that she was scared. She knew that wasn't an easy admission for the woman to make, to her least of all. She was about to question her, perhaps offer some measure of reassurance, when William entered the room. As Will took his seat next to Mac and she leaned against him, he smiled, strategically enfolding her hand in his own in order to hide the ring. Ashley-May entered moments later, clearly confused. As she asked what was going on, William simply lifted his hand from Mackenzie's without a word, clasping his fingers under her own and letting Ash put the pieces together as he and Addy smiled expectantly.

Chase watched those watching move along as he and Emile walked their direction. When he saw Morgan she gave him a nod, he replied with a small shrug. What else was he going to do? Returning his attention to the man on his right he side-eyed the man who was clearly unhappy. "And here I'd thought I was on edge." He spoke with a lighthearted sarcastic accusation as they continued moving at a natural pace.

"Do you wanna talk or are you good? Because come tonight you are going to have to keep your cool a whole lot better than you did just now." He had a right to ask, since a lot would be riding on Emile and his representation to the colony. "I mean I get it, he was a smug dick. But you let him get to you, and you know they'll be trying to do that later."

Malcolm walked with Jordan towards the main entry to where the pack currently called home; he wasn't certain how Jordan managed to penetrate their wards a second time. After Pan then Jordan and Hypnos both encroaching on their territory unannounced he knew that the Alpha had lain more words with their shaman, these drawing blood and were fueled by the presence of the Alpha himself and yet... He thought to question the kitsune, try and find the fault in their wards but kept his silence, not wanting to first allow the kitsune to know they had managed to cross the wards regardless of their efforts, and he doubted greatly the kitsune would give them the information they needed to prevent it from happening again.

He stepped out of the woods to the abandoned camp site the pack used to come and go with their vehicles, it wasn't far from the pack itself but gave enough distance for privacy. He paused as he came to see the two women waiting there before glancing back to Jordan. "I've met Himiko," He stated simply; despite not being truly introduced he had spoken with her several weeks ago about this day.

Mackenzie sat quietly, believing that Will would have actually said something to her partner but instead he remained quiet on the couch beside her as Ash stood in the living room in confusion, staring at the three of them. Her dark eyes traveled from Will to Addy then Ash, waiting for someone to speak - this had been Will's plan after all but when it became clear that Ash wasn't catching on her lips parted to give her partner reason only to be cut off.

"I don't have the emotional stabillities for games right now." Ashley-May said with caution but already felt her voice starting to waver, eyes threatening tears. "I know I'm not going to be here with you guys but I'm still a wreck. I don't know what I would do is something happened to you, any of you. I can't do this alone..." She watched Mac's smile fade and her arms open to offer her the comfort of a hug. Mac had certainly taken far more of an emotional side with her since she found out she was pregnant, and she was about to accept the offer when something caught the light and glittered from her partners hand. She frowned as she focused on her partners finger. "What am I looking at?"

Mac paused, she knew Will had wanted Ash to be giggly and excited but she suddenly thought that maybe this wasn't a good time to bring this up. She had opened her arms, expecting Ash to crawl into her lap and cuddle, as she had plenty of times over the past few weeks when her partner finally saw what Will had hoped for. "Uh, it's a -" Ash was on her, tackling her back into the soft cushions of the couch knocking the wind out of her lungs. Ash was emitting her high pitched squeal of excitement, grabbing her hand to look at the ring before turning to throw her arms over Will's shoulders.

Emile chose to ignore Chase's first flippant comment about being on edge; Emile held the lives of the pack, Nest and the colony in his hands so of course he was on edge. He didn't want to fight with Chase about it, he needed to clear his head and get the pack ready to make sure they had everything in order before they received the signal. He paused when Chase spoke again, turning to face the younger man. He wasn't angry -at least not with Chase, he was angry with himself. Chase was right -Jordan had been digging at him since he had arrived and managed to accomplish his task of getting him worked up.

He gave a defeated sigh, even managed a meager smile as he shrugged. "I know, the human will try but I keep control." He glanced about the area as wolves still worked at packing and sorting the various things Emile had got them collect for the evening. Food, medical supplies and all sorts of necessities based off of Malcolm and Chase's suggestions to bring as peace offerings to the colonists. They were gifts meant to appease the fears of the humans they would be speaking with tonight. "He not my enemy but he treat like we are." He couldn't explain it better as he nodded back the direction Malcolm had taken the kitsune. "He say he want peace, he want to stop the First Sin, but then come here and be an ass." A term that Chase had taught him over the last couple of weeks. "I worry he do this tonight, wit the Council, or wit Francois."

"I can feel your eyes bearing down on me brother wolf~" Jordan teased as he turned his head towards Malcolm, his light hearted mood returning and a genuine smile on his face. " Despite our many differences in culture and things we find offensive, we are not enemies. If you have a question or a comment I am not one to hold your tongue against." The wolf had something eating away at him and staring at Jordan wasn't going to help.

"Ah. That's right, you have. Well time for proper introductions yes? This is Himiko, my right hand." Himiko nodded towards Malcolm as Jordan continued, " She is...Nogitsune be very careful with the insults you throw her way as by her nature she would kill those who insult her pride." He said the last part low so that only Malcolm could hear him.

" And this oddly dressed creature is my daughter, Da Ji.... just... just don't talk to her. If I offend you it's unintentional... if she does.. it's to draw some sort of response." Jordan didn't say that quietly at all and Da Ji shrugged her shoulders at the truth.

It was clear Emile was frustrated and that his comment probably wasn't helping. And when the Alpha suddenly turned towards him Chase wondered if maybe he'd poked a little too much. But the smile that eventually came over the other mans face revealed that it was fine for the most part. He'd also followed Emile's gaze to the pack members as they did their busy work, which Chase might have joined in on but with the precision and joint efforts that were put forwards he got the feeling he'd get in the way. So for now he'd do what he could do which was help keep Emile calm, and in turn it was keeping Chase preoccupied and calm as well.

The term Emile had chosen to call the Kitsune amused Chase and caused him to fail in his attempt to stop from grinning as he'd never heard the man speak it, it came as a small surprise. Not to mention the accent that came with him trying out an unused word, he had to admit it was all rather appealing to him.

"Then let him." Chase quipped, despite being worried about it himself. "It'll probably make you personally look better at least, which is probably a good thing considering they don't like you already." He shrugged his shoulders, what could they really do about it? "You're the one that invited him along, and it's probably good idea to add another party to speak of the First Sin. Now deal with the consequences." It was meant to be more lighthearted, but underneath it was an awkward sentiment. It's also possible Chase was still a little irked at not being let in on the information, rather immaturely.

William had hesitated after hearing Ashley-May's warning. He could see how distraught she was -- clearly stressed and not picking up on what she was here for. He had been ready for joy, even anger at him for concealing his secret. Either one of those would have been par for the course; but the woman he saw before him had none of the same spark he'd come to expect from the blonde. Sparing a glance at Adelaide, even she seemed concerned. He was opening his mouth to speak -- to apologize, to tell her to forget it, he wasn't sure -- when she apparently caught sight of the ring as Mac offered her a hug.

Ashley-May moved faster in the next moment than Will had ever seen -- flying over in a near-blur to nearly knock her partner over before letting out an excited squeal that immediately caused Will's heart to swell. Adelaide grinned, visibly relaxing. Her own chest filled with warmth, nearly overwhelmed by the sympathetic feedback of positive energy and joyful feelings she was receiving from the others.

Will chuckled, returning Ash's hug warmly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I had to play this one close to the vest. Does this mean we have your blessing?" he asked with a grin.

GiKY4Jh.jpg

Malcolm gave Jordan an apologetic smile after the kitsune mentioned him having something on his mind to ask. "It's not my place to question things," He said simply, giving Himiko a nod of recognition, his eyes traveling to the one he called his daughter and whom he should ignore. He thought it curious to bring someone like that along, given their purpose for this evening was to bring peace and treaty to the humans in the colony and the hope to work together. He paused then, recalling what Jordan had mentioned earlier, about the Men of Letters. "You do know that the Men of Letters London Chapter House is in direct contact with Vitae." He turned to start leading the small band of kitsune back towards the pack as they finished preparing to leave. "Our last reports from the colony don't indicate that they have a representative there, but from my understanding Vitae communicates with them often, relaying information."

Emile frowned as Chase suggested letting the kistune parade about in the colony as he had been, believing himself to be superior to the remainder of them. He was about to speak, to disregard such an action but the younger wolf soon explained himself and it was rather sound. He blinked, having never considered that an option; the colony and humans diverting their anger from him to the kitsune with the big mouth and a slow smile crossed his features. "This is why we need you," He said with confidence, watching the young man a moment. "Why I need you here, you don't think like wolf." He stepped closer to Chase, careless of who would be watching. He knew, as he was sure Chase did as well, there wasn't any secrecy to their relationship with the pack, as much as Emile had kept his affection away from prying eyes he simply couldn't help himself for the moment.

"It good, you don't think like me," He raised a hand to gentle cup Chase's cheek, leaning in to deliver a quick kiss to his lips. "You make me better, make me stop to think and see different way." He tilted his head forward to press his forehead against Chase's. "Merci." Emile couldn't doubt that Chase had prevented him from making a dozen or more mistakes since he had arrived at the pack. From simple translation errors to seriously offending the humans, Chase had made the Alpha's task just a little bit easier and he appreciated it greatly.

Ashley-May was crying, for the first time in days, tears of happiness as she nodded to Will's question. She sniffed and wiped the tears from her cheek before bursting into tears again, unable to speak. She just hugged the man in lieu of words, not able to get her points across really. She had come to love Will and Addy as much as she did Mac; they were her family and she was overjoyed to know that they would find happiness together.

Mackenzie watched Ash as she continued on in her mess -though wasn't surprised in the least really by the reaction. Ash had always been an emotional person -to Mac, but being pregnant with a Nephilim seemed to always send her over the edge one way of another. "Alright Baby-Mama," Mac said after a while, she had been holding on to Will for some time but she reached out to take her friends hand and was happy to see the woman shift gears and instead hold onto her. "You need to let all this crazy out before you leave tonight." She cautioned, holding her friend as Ash rest her head on her shoulder, still crying. "Otherwise I'm afraid of what you'll to to Eli." She was satisfied to hear Ash laugh though her tears; knowing Eli was still a sensitive topic.

William was overjoyed to see Ashley-May's reaction to the news; it was a stark contrast to her grim demeanor just moments earlier. He knew she hated the idea of leaving Vitae during the attack and was happy to send her off with at least some kind of good news. As she finally parted from him to turn toward Mac, he gave her a friendly kiss on the cheek.

Adelaide watched them still, hands crossed in front of her as she grinned. The emotions pouring from Ashley-May, amplified by Liam, were threatening to overwhelm her. She chuckled at Mackenzie's comment. "Maybe let her keep some of the crazy in that case," she said with a wink at the two women. Elijah, she knew, hadn't any idea about the engagement -- such as it was -- either.

Will sighed deeply, glancing at his watch. His smile slowly turned somber. "About that time," he murmured to Ash and Mackenzie, before turning to give Addy a meaningful look as the witch nodded.

It was always fun to watch Emile's facial expressions as he came to a conclusion or an understanding, Chase had decided long ago. This particular situation was no different, he was already shaking his head with a smile as the other man stepped closer and spoke of needing him here. Though he could see the intent in the others eyes and body language, "You're insatiable and a suck-up." He mused, speaking softly in their close proximity all the while scolding Emile lightheartedly just before their lips met briefly.

While the compliments were welcomed he knew the Alpha had it in him to grasp such things without him here. Chase just gave him the small nudges he needed. With their foreheads touching he reached up and pressed his hand against the back of Emile's head, looking upwards at the other mans face as he opened his mouth to speak. "I'm returning the favor. You kept me grounded these last few weeks." It was hard to say what Chase would have done in the wake of his fathers death had he not become a part of the pack and befriended the Alpha. Where he would have ended up and what he would have done was an unknown.

"A little intimacy goes a long way in helping with your mood huh?" Chase grinned, knowing full well where they were located and that there were likely a number of eyes watching them. "All they'd need to see is what I see." Chase spoke randomly and was referring to the colony along with the man he was currently staring at, he'd learned much of the man he was looking at. Emile wasn't the leader of the monsters coming to tear them apart and burn their colony to the ground like the colony made it seem. Hell, even when Chase came here as a double agent he'd just seen Emile as one of the Alpha's he'd tried to avoid his whole life...at first. But he had to admit he'd become rather infatuated with the man.

With two small gentle slaps to the side of Emile's neck he backed off so their foreheads were touching no longer and mentally returned to the present with a light smirk. "I think we've given them enough of a peepshow, how about you?"

Jordan looked over at Malcolm and listened to his words. "Of course the Men of Letters are there. End of the world rearing its head, what better way to get Hunters to trip over each other to kill anything that isn't human? Perhaps I should hold off on letting the Vitae know my real name." Jordan smoothed his hair back and looked back at the other two Kitsune. "Alright, you two-"

"Father," Da Ji spoke in Japanese, clearly meaning for this to be a discussion between the three Kitsune, "I couldn't help but notice your...agitation, for YOU to show such a thing means someone got under your skin~"

Jordan looked at Da Ji, both annoyed and proud of his daughter's perceptiveness, or rather her lack of tact. He turned to Malcolm and bowed slightly, "Forgive us, it's a...personal matter we must discuss... the name I told you has more weight than you might realize," Jordan's eyes were apologetic before he turned to Da Ji, his expression and tone never faltering, "Their leader is incompetent to say the least. First he dares to call himself Alpha when he doesn't even recognize when the real thing is staring him in the face, secondly he allows some pup covered in his scent who he calls his "consult" dare to throw a veiled threat my way, and lastly he takes offense to a simple diplomatic exchange. If a leader of a group comes to you by himself and you are on agreeable terms and he asks for his companions to be brought in, what would be your response."

"I send someone to escort them into our holdings. It's simple hospitality."
Himiko spoke, though she could already tell that there was something that clearly got lost in translation.

"You would be most correct, however our esteemed host deemed it an insult and dared to disrespect me." Jordan gave a light chuckle before looking at Malcolm, "If it were not for this one, our talk would be a bit different. If anything the wolves' idea of leadership is just as twisted as it always was~"

"And you're positive you did not antagonize him~?"
Da Ji seemed to be taking this better than Himiko who was trying to keep her emotions under control. "You do have a tendency to get under the skin of others who are not our kind~" Jordan looked at Da Ji quizzically and turned to Himiko who gave a reluctant nod.

"I will not compromise my identity as well and I would ask no-one to. No matter, it has passed and there is no need to pursue the transgression." Jordan clapped his hands together and looked back to Malcolm, "I apologize again, when the time comes what would you have us do?"

"You mean besides Da Ji keeping her mouth firmly shut?" Himiko chimed in with a sly glance towards the other who proceeded to childishly cross her arms and stick her tongue out.

Ashley-May rolled her eyes in exaggeration as Addy suggested she unleash some of the 'crazy' Mac insisted she had on Elijah. The thought certainly had crossed in the past couple of weeks but she resisted the urge; she was better than that -or so she told herself, her mother raised her in kindness and no matter what was thrown at her she wanted only to reflect that back onto the world. If she were leave the planet today, life no more, those that knew her would only remember her being a highlight to their lives not a blemish. Ash heard Will's declaration and she gave Mac a final hug before releasing her partner.

Mac followed Ash from the couch, holding her best friends hand and picking up the bags Ash had packed. Some were clearly personal belongings whilst the vast majority were medical and hunting supplies -like the Beast didn't have enough packed into it. Mac made no comment; she would let Ash do what ever she felt she needed to feel satisfied with leaving. "I left the Beast at the Clinic." She said quietly, glancing to Will, she hadn't told anyone she had spoke to Eli about what she needed him to do, and she had no intention of doing so now. "I thought it would be easier there, less to worry about."

Emile smirked as Chase chided him on his mood and clearly repetitive behavior, while Chase might be right; he may have come to the same thought the younger man had, Emile wasn't entirely certain. There were things Chase came up with Emile had never honestly considered before. He certainly wouldn't discount Chase's comment on his mood and how easily the younger wolf managed to sway it to the better. With a sigh of regret Emile backed off of Chase, whether the pack had been watching their display or not didn't matter to Emile - nor would he care if others had public displays... save for one. He wasn't sure if he could fully witness Morgan doing what he had recently; not that she didn't deserve to find someone to love, but she was like his child and the better part of most of the pack's child. Everyone adored her here and at home and seeing her openly kiss and touch another would be... difficult to witness.

A quick glance around told him the pack was ready to move, they were going to head to a location closer to the colony and wait for their signal. Brody arrived with the ever angry Andy in tow; neither looked pleased but Emile was not going to second guess this arrangement. Both of them were rather volatile wolves on a normal day; Andy hadn't been exposed to humans in two weeks and while she seemed to be on the mend, he wouldn't risk anyone's lives, including hers. Brody was another issue, his sibling was inside the walls of the colony and she was on the list of few that could throw a serious wrench into their plans for the evening. If she saw him or Malcolm present there was no counting what she could do to incite terror among the people and how many wolves would pay for it.

Brody approached and handed Emile a small leather bound book, he nodded to the Guardian his thanks before glancing back to Chase. "This is pour Mackenzie." He stated, holding the journal out. "From Mal, what he want to give her."

Malcolm waited patiently as the three kitsune spoke among themselves. While he didn't understand a word of what was being said he was no fool to think it didn't directly relate to the pack and this evening. He waited until the three seemed to come to some sort of agreement -or stalemate, which he couldn't tell, and was address about the evening. "At this time, nothing. We will need your assistance later this evening, once we manage to get the colony under control. We'll need you to speak about the First Sin and reinforce the idea that the pack and the nest, with your assistance will be furthering plans to help prevent its freedom." He glanced towards the two women before back to Jordan. "We will not ask any of you to take part in the first portion of this evening: suppressing the humans. We want to keep your status as impartial and if you're seen within the walls stopping hunters from doing what they do, it won't give the image we need."

Across the colony the people were at the final stages of preparation for the evening. Civilians and people getting to their positions, teamed up with a member or two of Franklin's Nest. The tension was palatable within the walls of the colony, people were tense and worried and with good reason.

Along the walls Williams selected hunters waited with the majority of Franklin's Nest Mates. Homes had been abandoned to fill the REC center and currently the temporary non-emergent care center; most of the colony would be located here, strength in numbers.

A select few hunters had been selected to remain at the Clinic to lend their aid in protecting the site directly, though only an handful of hunters and vampires remained here; Franklin as assured the council that during the attack the wolves would not pay it any attention: their interest would lie with the strong and useful, and one injured would be bypassed as they would never survive turning.

Tara and Ginny go to the clinic as they're told to, both of them growing serious. Tara is pretty sure this is Franklin's way of keeping her away from combat, which she's sad to say is a good idea. As soon as the blood gets spilled, she knows she'll be struggling to hold on to her mind.

Ginny, on the other hand, is just hoping she won't have to give up her secret. The vampires had a bad enough reception. She's been hiding here, and she knows some might see her as a spy or an assassin.

Solomon yawned as he stood on top of the wall with the Civilians and two of the vampires. While Solomon was keen to give any supernatural being the benefit of the doubt he couldn't quiet the little voice in the back of his head telling them that they were monsters, only to be trusted when bound by spacecraft or dead. Solomon shook his head and dismissed the thought. They had done nothing to warrant his paranoia and the fact that the Council let them in the Colony at all must mean that they had been vetted.

Leaning against the wall Solomon drew his knife and gripped it tightly. It would be a bloody battle, one he frankly wasn't sure he was ready for, but it now was the time for action, not thought.

William and Adelaide stepped forward, the former grabbing the leftover bags. Hearing Mackenzie's declaration, he met her gaze and nodded. Her tone gave him pause, but he trusted her utterly -- especially when it came to keeping Ashley-May safe. Hefting the bag, he cocked his head toward the door. "I'll get the truck ready, drive you two over."

Adelaide spoke up, "I need to get to the Rec Center. I promised I'd help with some of the preparations there." She stepped forward to wrap her hands around Ash in a hug. "I'll see you soon, okay?" She then turned toward Will, "Give Eli my love," she said, half-joking. As much as she would have liked to see the two of them off personally, she had already checked in with Eli earlier in the day and had no interest in delaying their leaving the Colony more than needed.

Will nodded at the request, turning to move outside and fire up the truck.

Eddie lay on the floor, throwing a tennis ball above himself and catching it with the other hand over and over. As he saw Ginny and Tara walk in, he said in a monotonous way, “You guys too? I figured the clinic needed... zero people on duty. And here’s three. I get them assuming I’m a liability but you two? I don’t see it.” After catching it this time, he tilted his head and looked into space in thought. “Or maybe I’m on clinic duty to make sure nothing goes wrong, and you two are on Eddie duty to make sure nothing goes wrong...” Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

When Brody and Andy had shown up Chase had fallen in behind Emile to meet them. He was rather curious at what Brody was giving the Alpha until the older man spun around and explained it before handing the journal to Chase. Grabbing hold of it he glanced over its features before looking at Brody and nodding, "She'll get it." He knew this meant something to both him and Malcolm and he was going to make sure it was delivered. And while he hadn't known what Malcolm had wanted him to deliver, admittedly a journal hadn't been something he'd thought of. Chase wouldn't ask what was enclosed, assuming it was meant for Mackenzie's eyes only.

He also knew that Brody wasn't in the best of moods considering it was crunch time and he was currently benched, especially considering what his own family had riding on this outcome. One look around and it was clear the pack was ready to go, this wasn't going to be fun. The man took a breath and glanced at Emile, knowing none of them would make a move without the Alpha giving the order. "Hope you're ready to get this done." Chase wasn't but he knew he had to be so he'd set in to keeping himself collected. Their moment of affection had helped greatly with that, "Just think of it like an English exam. Just with the fate countless lives at stake if it fails." He gave the alpha a small proud smile, clearly amused at his attempt to worsen Emile's anxiety. Doing so had an oddly soothing effect on his own however.

Ginny laughs softly. "Nah, we're just here to be sure. Besides, there will be a lot of wounded to take care of, the doctors might need some help." She says, shrugging. "Also I'm very inexperienced and I think they're worried I'd get myself killed out there." She says on a more serious note.

Ashley-May and Mackenzie followed Will out to the truck after Ash hugged Addy goodbye, the following drive to the clinic was done in silence; neither party wanting to speak much. For Ash it was fear of saying too much and getting upset before having to leave and Mac just didn't know what to say. She was upset, by far, but unable to honestly express what she wanted. Once they arrived at the clinic, and Will pulled up next to the Beast, Mac glanced his way with a sad smile. "Can you go and grab Eli while I get Ash set up?" She knew there wasn't a chance that Will would say anything otherwise.

The two women exited the truck Mac held on to Ash's hand as she brought her to the car. "I know we've been over this a million times." She said as calmly as she could as the blonde watched her. "But you know you can't come back here. If we don't call you, you run." She watched Ash roll her eyes but nod none the less. "My phone is in the glove box, someone here will call you on it when it's done, when it's safe." She paused. "And if this does go sideways you need to listen to Eli; no matter what, you can trust him to do what he needs to for you and Liam."

Emile narrowed his eyes at Chase but smiled nonetheless, he knew the younger man well enough to know just when he was being toyed with. Regardless he nodded in reply to his question. "I am ready." He honestly didn't have a choice, months of planning, or spending endless nights pacing and debating. Forming plans and changing them were all coming to an end this evening. The remainder of the pack were set in their own vehicles, Morgan waiting by truck watching the two. Emile headed towards her and paused at the young woman wouldn't move from the driver side door, watching her uncle expectantly.

There was a pause between them, as she was clearly attempting to stare down the Alpha but after a moment relented with a grumble and stalking a few feet away to the back seat. "Keys" he spoke and she tossed them over her shoulder for Emile to catch. He gave a look of disdain to Chase as he opened the drivers side door and climbed inside. Emile hated driving, didn't even own his own vehicle, the one they were using this evening was his Betas; Malcolm. As much as Emile didn't want to use it, he knew arriving in the colony as a wolf wouldn't be the impression he wanted to leave.
