Misha was jolted awake by the ship's sudden banking. It didn't take long for him to figure out that something had gone terribly, terribly wrong. That particular realization also didn't put any haste into the man either. Calmly, he got up out of bed, got dressed and stepped outside of his room. Retaining a level head was something he had been always exceptional at, and even as everything around him devolved into chaos, he remained unmoved, the eye of the storm, cool as a cucumber.

Emergency protocol seemed well underway, that was good. Still things were hectic, and when things got hectic, people made mistakes. He joined what staff remained on the ship and assisted them in guiding the remainder of the passengers toward the escape pods before climbing into his own, among the last to successfully depart the Sunset Horizon. He strapped himself into his seat and began to ponder. This had certainly put a wrench into his plans. He couldn't help but wonder if he might've had access to some proper equipment if he had managed to wake up earlier, a gun maybe.

It was little matter in the end, for now, priority number one was getting his boots on the ground and out of the sky. Somewhere relatively safe, he hoped. Hell, he'd take most any situation where he had an ounce of control over the one he currently found himself in. For now he closed his eyes and focused, taking in deep, meditative breaths one at a time as he continued to think, to calculate. They'd likely be touching down soon, Misha only hoped they weren't in for too rough a landing.

One of the women that had been along for the ride quickly detached herself from her straps, pushed open the door and vacated her stomach of all its contents.

Outside some of the smaller creatures that were curious seemed to be lingering nearby. A small flock of pink bird like creatures with far too many eyes and an angular appearance hung around on some nearby foliage.

The waters nearby were crystal clear as having never been touched by human hands before. Nearby lurked a small pack of strange dog like creatures. Each had two glowing orbs at the end of slender horns and a large bushy tail, all while being a dark blue hue with orange striping.

The teenage girl quickly unstrapped herself and then unstrapped Robin, taking him by the hand outside. "Looks like we touched down on a beach."

The pair manage to get into the pod quite quickly so that Kayin could shut the door and take off with the pod. The pod itself was quite empty, with only the four of them on the way down. As the pod launched, it seemed that the ship was close to the planet. As such, the massive gravitational pull of the ship pushed their pod around as they shook violently.

The parachute launched, causing some decline in the shaking, and the pod deftly landed on a nearby beach. Off in the distance along the beachline, it looked like there might be another pod.

The pod jostled and shook as he ejected from the ship, the ship itself being relatively close to the planet. It seemed almost as though the pod would break apart, at least until the parachute deployed and it stabilized, causing the pod to land inside the dense jungle.

Outside the pod, a small group of creatures gathered. They looked like a cross between a naked monkey and a lizard. Most stayed further away, but a curious one approached the pod after it landed.

Of course, it seemed like she would have to help herself.

As per usual. She should've guessed.

Araña took a few deep breaths, activating an anti-anxiety program in her techno-grafted form. As she felt her breath return to her normally, instead of the quick paced, gasping for air she had been doing a bit earlier, Ana looked around at the scene. The occupant she'd mentioned earlier still looked quite out of it. Another woman had immediately exited the ship to empty her stomach contents.

Gross as hell. But she understood, and Ana even felt kinda bad. She didn't have anything for motion sickness. If it had been a technologically related problem, then sure, she could have been of assistance. Maybe there was a first aid kit on the ship at least. Maybe it would have some water.

That, that she might be able to help with. Ana pressed her hand against the wall of the escape pod as she slowly peeled herself off of her seat. Thankfully, the system on this pod was still working, she thought as she connected to its mainframe. There was a first aid kit in another compartment.

Ana moved towards the compartment and opened it, searching through until she could find the water.

"Hopefully no one got hurt?" She offered those in the pod with her as she got down, walking over to the woman and holding out the water. "If you did, there's a first aid kit up there."

Ana looked over and caught the gaze of...many of the pink birds' eyes.

Man, this place was definitely not in the tour package.

The unblinking stare of the woman remained as she was the third individual to exit the pod. Beyond one of the woman getting sick, she listened to the other individual speak and concluded a monotonous statement of her own. "Data remains inconclusive for now; I'll be taking that kit for storage." Astra headed back up to snag the kit as she turned around; her irises twisting in a circular motion around the pupil as they constricted in an apparent scan. This gaze was subjected to each one of the pod's occupants, and while brain activity and heartrate for most were off the charts, no-one appeared to have sustained any sort of impact-based injuries. With a quick bioscan concluded, she clambered out of the pod and, almost immediately, turned to give the same stare at the many-eyed birdlike creature. While conducting the scan, she remarked within hearing range of the pod and its occupants, "The ship's registry was not properly cataloged prior to detonation. I'm going to need everyone's names."

sandra carefully watched the bird things seeming suspicious of the Dray in the back of her head going through a bunch of idea of why they are watching "hey.. you sure these bird things are not gonna attack by them?" she asked casually to everyone "oh yeah names Sandra, and there's also Dray" she remarked after Astra asked for there name she didn't turn at all form the bird things.
