So What’s This Story About?
The year is x780. Guild life goes on as it has for the past years. Members carry out their missions with excitement or boredom depending on the mission - as they usually would. Tension between Fairy Tail and Raven Tail seems to have come to a momentary calm in which the two guilds have simply agreed to avoid one another.

Current eyes watch three primary missions. Royce Obertuck - an S-Class criminal and former Raven Tail guildmaster - is being transferred to a higher security prison after multiple escape attempts; this transfer is one giant opportunity though. The question remains… who is lurking in the shadows to take advantage of it? Liam Portian - a scientist working in magic expansion - seeks to study a meteor that recently crashed. People have been disappearing near it, though. Can mages help him get his hands on it? More importantly, what else will they discover? Last, but not least, a demon book has been stolen. That’s never a good thing. Who runs with Book of Vongraw? What might they unleash and who might also seek these treasures?

These fates all draw nearer.

Something is coming, though. Can the world really expect to stay this calm when a solar eclipse - the first in centuries - hangs overhead? One thing is for sure: villains are not planning on allowing this calm to last.

Most importantly, will Fairy Tail be strong enough to face what’s coming? And will the other guilds be ready to aid them? Can the other guilds even afford not to?

Fates are eclipsing. The moon could very well darken them forever.

Welcome to the Sabertooth Guild Hall!
Location: Mountains North of Crocus

Guildmaster: Jasmine Vekron

Description: Modeled after the barracks of knights of old, many suspect that the Sabertooth Guild Hall actually did house knights at one point or another. While it has a much more formal feel to it than many of the other guild halls in Fiore, there’s still plenty of room for these mages who tend to be very good at keeping themselves working to kick back and relax.

Sean Maximillian
Sean stared at the glass of sparkling lemonade in front of him. Normally, he would've been drinking it with a smile on his face. Finishing it in large gulps with his eyes closed happily, and then letting out a big sigh of delight as he wiped his mouth. But...that was back when he had everything. When he felt safe enough to close his eyes, and when he felt content enough to smile. Now, he just stared at it. He tapped his fingers on the wooden table, watching his reflection ripple along with the sweetened light yellow liquid with each small 'thump'. And right next to him was a steaming cinnamon roll, covered in vanilla white icing that was thin and rich enough where you could smell it combining with the scent of cinnamon from across the room. Another thing Sean liked to eat...in the past. It was just too hard for him to eat now, though. It was hard for him to eat anything now. Drinking was just as difficult. It wasn't like his body was incapable of doing it. It was just...those things were supposed to make you feel better. But he didn't feel anything anymore when he ate or drank food. He would just feel...worse.

He sighed, rubbing tired baggy eyes that didn't belong to a twelve-year-old boy. He shouldn't be here. He didn't want to seem like a spoiled brat, correcting so many stereotypes and rumors, but he still couldn't help but think it. He just shouldn't be...here. Surrounded by all these strangers, sleeping in a guild hall, feeling like he's fallen into a pit he can't climb out of. Sure, he had small dreams of becoming a wizard when he grew up, but he never wanted it to happen like this. It was all too fast...but at least his sister was still here. The lemonade began to reflect a slow small smile. She wasn't the same, feeling more distant and emotionless...but she was still there. And she still loved him, even if he was a shell. He wouldn't be here if it weren't for her...he wouldn't be alive.

He stared at the Cinnamon roll again and picked it up. It still felt warm. He gave it a look before he slowly raised it to his mouth and took a big bite of it. He could taste the flavor, but it wasn't as enjoyable, and it was less enjoyable as he felt it lump up before he swallowed it. But he continued eating it. He may have been useless to the other members here, but he couldn't be useless to Maev.

...He owed her that, and so much more.

Maev Maximillian

It was late morning and the youngest girl of the Sabertooth mages scuffed out of her room into the main hall looking like a human sized stuffed animal in her yellow kigurumin pajamas -- a zip up, hooded onesie with cat ears and a white tummy. As she removed her hands from rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, the atmosphere was accosted with a dead look; an expression that would have seemed much too mature for her age. Most would likely become unsettled by the contrasting scene, but the members of Sabertooth were likely used to it by now. Although the girl hadn't joined the guild that long ago, she rarely displayed any other expression.

As she grew accustomed to the daylight, motion caught her attention and her eyes flicked to the floor. Her stone-cold stare noted a Roly poly -- it's little legs ribbing back and forth as it inched across the floor, minding its own business. The eyes snapped back up, disregarding the harmless insect as the girl took a step forward; the padded footsie of the onesie crashing down on the bug. Her eyes closed for a moment as she let out a sigh, knowing the bug was writhing in an incomprehensible struggle. Then, she grit her teeth and there was a quick twist of the ankle; her foot scraping the ground with finality before continuing forward, noticing her younger brother at a table eating a cinnamon roll.

Shuffling over and plopping on the bench opposite her brother, she rested her head on her hands and stared at him with the same straight look -- although her eyes may have seemed a little less dead than before -- as she said, "Come on, Sean. Remember what mom said about having a good breakfast. You need more than a cinnamon roll or you're not gonna feel good today. I'll get us some hot oatmeal with cinnamon. Ya want it with milk, right?"

Jasmine Vekron
She’d been out on important town business. It seemed only natural that small towns grew around areas in which guild halls established themselves because many mages liked to have families and many people savored the protection a guild could offer to an area to live. Jasmine didn’t have any problems with that or the town itself, really. The town - if it could even be called a town - had been there since before her so it didn’t seem fair for her to argue its existence outright. What she did have to argue, though, was how much of the land belonged to the town and how much of it belonged to the guild. They’d been planning on building more homes that would encroach upon the training grounds of Sabertooth and Jasmine had gone to the meeting to explain that not only was it the guild’s land, but that building there was also dangerous because magic users trained there and sometimes magic could not be contained. It had taken quite the discussion, but it was one that Jasmine won.

If she were being honest with herself, though, it was all rather annoying and she wished she wouldn’t have had to deal with it in the first place. Dealing with town business meant that she couldn’t keep working on making sure that her guild was the strongest. That was her primary goal.

Apparently, though, it wasn’t too much of a loss because as she walked into the guild hall, she realized that not many of her guild members were there. Only two were there, that she could see. Taking off her coat, she hung it up on the hooks that lined the entry way wall and then she headed over to the siblings. “Maev,” she greeted the first with an honest smile. Her gaze drifted to the younger sibling - was he the younger? - and then she nodded to him in turn although with less enthusiasm. “Sean.”

She’d only just managed to realize that Maev seemed to be cooking and she nodded her approval of that. “Do either of you have any plans for after you’re finished with breakfast? We could run some training exercises later in the day. With everything that’s been going on in the world lately, it’s certainly warranted.” It was an offer she usually made to her guildmates on days where there wasn’t much else to do.

Maev and Sean Maximillian
With an almost bored look on his face, Sean slowly traced his fingers around the swirls of his half-eaten cinnamon roll. It was a miracle that it was even still warm at this point. The lemonade, however, didn't receive such luck, the ice having been melted, causing the Lemonade to taste like sweet water. He couldn't help but huff and take another small bite. He hated how long his breakfasts were now. It just made him feel more awkward, if that was even possible at this point. And honestly, they would be boring without-

Sean looked up just in time to see Maev sitting down across from him, staring at him with the same expression she's been donning for awhile now. A long pause ensued, Sean still having the cinnamon roll in his mouth, before Maev broke it quickly. Flinching, Sean looked to the side, disappointed in himself for having Maev to scold him so soon. 'I already don't feel good' he thought to himself, but was too scared to say aloud. He didn't want to be any more of a burden than he already was. So instead, he just nodded at Maev's question on oatmeal. He wasn't all that hungry...but Maev does make good oatmeal.

It didn't take long for Maev to whip up a proper breakfast. By the time Jasmine -- their guildmaster -- returned, Maev had boiled the water, soaked up some fruit, cooked the oatmeal, and made some camomile citrus tea. Sprinkling cinnamon and stevia into the oatmeal, she served her brother and then herself; making sure to keep the fruit off too the side rather than mixing it in with the oatmeal like most people would.

Maev slumped into her seat across from Sean with a sigh as Jasmine brought up the prospect of training after breakfast. It was true that things seemed to be getting a little out of hand within Fiore of late, and training was a good way to prepare for helping people; which Maev still thought was a good thing. However, at the moment she was questioning why she had to be the one to help. Her brother was safe and things seemed to be fairly peaceful around the Sabertooth guild hall. That's all that mattered. The only problem was, the little voice in the back of her head was saying that she owed Jasmine, that she needed to set a good example for her brother, and despite the fact that she just wanted to get away from it all and stop having to be responsible all the time, she couldn't bring herself to decline the guild master's offer. She couldn't afford to alienate the good situation they were in.

Casting Jasmine her usual blank stare, Maev shrugged; which coming from her was as good as one could hope to get. Then she asked a question -- a rare occurrence as she normally just communicated through her cards with anyone that wasn't her brother, "Can I blow something up?"

Sean, watching Maev leave, moved his legs under the table back and forth, waiting patiently for his oatmeal. He looked around the guild hall, both relieved and unnerved it was almost empty today. Being surrounded by so many people always made him nervous, but now that most of them were gone, he realized how much it had grown on him. Eyes roaming from table to table, they suddenly snapped to the source of the sudden sound of an opened door. I-It was the guildmaster! The table suddenly looked more interesting than anything he could think of, and he timidly drummed his fingers against its surface. Sh-She was nice enough to let them in...but she was just so intimidating. Piercing analytical eyes staring into his soul and a commanding presence effortlessly towering over him...it was a bit overwhelming.

The sound of a bowl hitting the table brought him back to reality, and he looked up to see piping hot oatmeal with some fruit right in front of him. He sniffed at it, and suddenly, he became hungry again. Reaching for his spoon, he mixed his oatmeal a bit before lifting up a spoonful and blowing on it, inserting it into his mouth a few moments later. And suddenly, there was flavor again, tasteless sugar replaced by a well-made cinnamon mixture. With speed, he took another spoonful, a small smile on his face. Leave it to Maev to make him feel better with only oatmeal. He looked up to give her a smile of appreciation but jumped when Jasmine was right there, causing him to drop his spoon. Blushing, Sean looked back down. How long has she been there?

Sean remained silent as she gave her greetings, becoming more self-conscious when her tone shifted at his name. However, at the mention of training, he looked up a bit. Tr-Training? Sean thought about it. She was scary...but if he trained...maybe he wouldn't have to make Maev worry so much. Maybe he'd be able to protect her for a change. Maybe he'd be strong enough to where....it wouldn't have to happen to anyone else. All these ideas whirled around his head, and slowly, he looked up at her, nodding his head while nervously twiddling his fingers.

"Can I blow something up?"

He gave Maev a shocked look and turned back to the guildmaster with a bugged out look. Th-They...they wouldn't actually blow anything up...right?

Jasmine Vekron
Although Jasmine liked to hope that her guild members were always seeking to strengthen themselves by any means necessary, she honestly couldn’t say she was too surprised by Sean’s initial reaction to her suggestion. He was one of the few members in Sabertooth who she really didn’t know how to improve upon at all. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she had hoped that Maev would be able to manage it, but there again, she found herself disappointed more often than not because Maev didn’t seem - at least - to have that level of maturity to seek to help her brother become stronger. If it existed anywhere within the girl, it was so deep Jasmine didn’t know how to find it.

Maev’s reaction to the question was at least more surprising than Sean’s had been. That didn’t necessarily make it a positive thing, but Jasmine liked surprises because they often posed challenges. She just had to figure out how to appropriately respond.

Jasmine’s instinctive reaction was to say yes because explosions often happened in fights between strong individuals. That capability was something that could prove the strength she sought in her guild. However, she held back those words of praise because she knew that for Maev specifically, it wouldn’t actually be something that would help her. She already knew how to blow things up.

So… after a moment of thought, the blue haired guildmaster raised her eyebrows at Maev as if to ask, ‘Really?’

“Maev, you already know how to blow things up, don’t you? Practicing that wouldn’t exactly make you stronger now because you already know you can do it. The whole point of training is to improve upon things you need practice with and to develop new skills.” Jasmine stated it rather plainly. “Have you ever took time to figure out any ways to combine your magic with Sean’s? That might be something more appropriate to practice.”

It wasn’t an outright no in reply to Maev’s question, but Jasmine was certainly trying to take their exercises in a different direction.
