So What’s This Story About?

The year is x780. Guild life goes on as it has for the past years. Members carry out their missions with excitement or boredom depending on the mission - as they usually would. Tension between Fairy Tail and Raven Tail seems to have come to a momentary calm in which the two guilds have simply agreed to avoid one another.
Current eyes watch three primary missions. Royce Obertuck - an S-Class criminal and former Raven Tail guildmaster - is being transferred to a higher security prison after multiple escape attempts; this transfer is one giant opportunity though. The question remains… who is lurking in the shadows to take advantage of it? Liam Portian - a scientist working in magic expansion - seeks to study a meteor that recently crashed. People have been disappearing near it, though. Can mages help him get his hands on it? More importantly, what else will they discover? Last, but not least, a demon book has been stolen. That’s never a good thing. Who runs with Book of Vongraw? What might they unleash and who might also seek these treasures?
These fates all draw nearer.
Something is coming, though. Can the world really expect to stay this calm when a solar eclipse - the first in centuries - hangs overhead? One thing is for sure: villains are not planning on allowing this calm to last.
Most importantly, will Fairy Tail be strong enough to face what’s coming? And will the other guilds be ready to aid them? Can the other guilds even afford not to?
Fates are eclipsing. The moon could very well darken them forever.

Mission Applications
Do you have a cool mission idea that you wish could become a reality here in Fairy Tail: Eclipse of Fates? Do you want to share these ideas, but feel you can't bring them about because you're not a GM? Whether it's something to progress your character or just an interesting idea that you'd like to share, look no further. Below you will find a mission application that will allow you to collaborate with the moderators in forming the world of Fairy Tail: Eclipse of Fates.
However, filing out an application does not guarantee that your idea will be approved. The GMs reserve the right to deny an application for any reason. This includes applications that do not answer the required fields as well as those that do not abide by role-play and site rules. Despite this, we will endeavor to be fair judges of the content.

Crashing the Party
In the country of Fiore, on it's southernmost point, a tall cliff stands overlooking the vast ocean for miles around on three sides. On this cliff, a grand mansion sits, normally abandoned for most of the year. It's popular for ghost stories, coming from children and adults, citizens and adventurers alike. Many people brave the stories and enter the mansion when it is abandoned, but all they find is dusty furniture and cobwebs.
However, once a year, from sundown to sunrise, a grand party is held. People from all over Fiore flock to the mansion, mostly noble families who keep up their business relationships. However, members of the general public are also invited, with people traveling just to enjoy the festivities of the night. There's dancing, drinking, games, musicians, and even more. While not many are sure who throws these parties each year, but many say that a strange woman will go and speak with specific attendees, in hushed whispers.
As this years party hastily approaches, the Magic Council has received word of a truly frightening situation: the trade of highly advanced magical weapons. Word has it that the mysterious woman, regarded as Miss December, is one that is behind much of the trade, with numerous other wealthy attendees also being within this ring. Due to these rumors, the Council has decided to take action, and will be sending five mages in undercover as bodyguards for the Foles family, who have decided to attempt to assist in whatever way they could to stop these illegal activities.
The mages who take up this mission must infiltrate the mansion in masked disguises for the Foles family members, and discover the truth behind this party, and put a stop to any illegal activity going on. The Council wishes for the mages to try to be as discreet as possible, not using their magic if they can help it, and not drawing attention to themselves.
Expected Number of Mages: Five mages maximum and minimum for this mission.
NPC Control: I will be making any necessary NPC's, but if the GM's would like, they can control some of the NPC's if they would like to.
Mage Restrictions: B-Class and higher preferred, but no strict restrictions.
Reward: Monetary payment by the Magic Council
