Multiple Settings In Search for Casual Roleplays

Hi! And thanks for clicking on my thread. This is my first interest thread so it kinda means a lot. I hope everyone enjoys and finds it easy to navigate through! Feel free to comment some feedback if you have ideas or criticisms! Now onto the actual stuff.

  My name is Tammy! Just graduated from school, 18 years old, and heading off to college in the fall.​

  My pronouns are she/her or they/them (It doesn't really matter which one is used)​

  I've joined RPNation back in the summer of 2019 but have been roleplaying for around 5 years using Discord and Kik.​

  I am more of a semi-lit writer and aim for about 1-3 paragraphs per post.​

  My favorite pairings are M// and want to do more of these. Especially if romance is involved. But I am open to F//, M/F, and any sort of Non-binary pairings for platonic rps as I do tend to lose interest ​
  ​
  Romance is highly encouraged for Roleplays. It doesn't have to be the main focus but I love it when it's present somewhere along the lines.​
  ​
  I enjoy more primarily lighthearted roleplay with minimal dark themes. I don't mind them being present, and can even enjoy them sometimes, but I prefer if those darker themes weren't the main focus of the Roleplay​
  ​
  I would like a pretty active partner. I am someone who can make several posts an hour and almost always make more than one post a day. Therefore, I would like a partner that can kind of match that. That being said I don't mind people who can only reply once a day or every few days. I just prefer good back and forth sessions. (Where several posts aren't more than an hour apart) I know that life can keep up busy.​

  To follow up on my previous point- post length plays a lot into this as well. If we're doing shorter responses, a 1-2 short paragraphs, then I expect faster replies compared to longer responses, 2-4 full paragraphs.​

  I like to use and see my partners use non-realistic face claims, preferable anime ones. But I'm all good if you want to use realistic ones as long as you send a face claim. I just like to see rough estimates of our characters. Helps me imagine scenes better.​

  Spoiler: Roommates Plot

  So basically, I assume it'll either be in a high school or university setting, but Muse A could be a popular, maybe rich as well, who's about to fail and possibly get kicked out of the school. And Muse B could be one of the smartest kids in the grade but is also a bit of a loner, maybe they could have social anxiety or are just naturally shy around others. (It's kind of a jock and nerd plot). Anyways the two make a deal where Muse B tutors Muse A in exchange for either helping Muse B make friends or get them a date/lover. Now- I was thinking that one of the characters always had a secret crush on the other. If Muse B had the secret crush then maybe they didn't actually care about making friends and just wanted to spend more time with the other without making it weird. If Muse A had the secret crush then maybe he would try and sabotage or give bad advice to lower the chances of Muse B getting too close and potentially falling for someone while also subtlety or jokingly suggesting that they should get to know each other more. But if neither of them has a secret crush then it can just develop for one or both of them over time. All three paths are good ones for me.

  Spoiler: Webtoon Adapted Plot

  This idea is from a webtoon that I enjoy! It's called Our Walk Home and was written by Furanc0. Feel free to look it up! Anyways Muse A & B are both popular and idolized figures in their own schools. These two schools are big rivals in almost everything. From academics, sports, and fine arts. The two schools are always fighting to be the best and now they want to see who's the best between Muse A & B. Underneath their idolized facades both Muses despise the way their lives are at school but are pressured to not let their school's down and keep it up. And one fateful day they end up running into each other and bonding over that very reason.

  Spoiler: Best Friends Plot

  For this plot MuseA&B are childhood friends. The closest of friends that were rarely apart. Unfortunately, Muse B and their family had to leave which was heartbreaking for the two Muses. Fast-forward 10 (or however many) years later and Muse B and their family finally move back to their old home. Meaning that Muse A & B are finally reunited. That is just the base and it can head off in several directions.

  Spoiler: Isekai Plots

  There are plenty of ideas that fit under this specific theme so Ima just lists them here together. The first one involves two people coming to the new place from earth. They can be friends or enemies or anything. But I think them knowing each other first is better. I would imagine that they get brought to the world and are separated so their first goal is to find each other then to either return home or stay. The second one would involve one person from earth and the other from the other world. It could be the earth person being reincarnated into a character from a story or game they saw and the other could be a major character from the story. It's a plot I've seen in many places and really enjoy it.

  I honestly don't do fandom roleplays too often. I really only like to do OC/OC. OC/Canon. I am open to doubling!
  Also, this will mainly just have anime and video games. So if you don't like either of those then you probably won't see anything you like here.
