Silas O'Vera

"The wet dog smell isn't pleasant. No worries though. This is the only time you'll see me without it," Silas said with a smile and grabbed his own rag and soap. "You look as beautiful as ever though, I must say." He moved closer to Luna. He still felt a bit weird without his ears and tail, but all other forms of embarrassment dissolved upon laying eyes on Luna. His happiness was swelling as reality of what they were going for was really settling in his mind. A woman he liked forever and always found himself missing when he was away from her, one that he never really saw as someone who meant to him what she really meant until they were apart, he was about to marry. "I'm happy that you chose me to take your hand. You can call me your loyal dog now." A thought crossed his mind though and he stopped moving, though he was almost touching her. "Wouldn't your father be a bit......er.......less than appreciative of his little bat in the bath with a guy under his roof?"

“I refuse to call you my loyal dog.....you aren’t a servant!” Luna glared at him, knowing how he meant it but didn’t like the idea of her husband being called a dog. Resting against his shoulder she closed her eyes and set the soap and rag back on the edge of the bath. She had bathed earlier that morning already “I’m happy as well though....can we just sit here for a while?” She asked curiously, pulling his arm to her chest as she hugged it nuzzling into the crook of his neck “even if you smelled of wet dog I would still love you....but as far as my father...I don’t think he would mind little ones running around” giggling as she pressed her lips to his neck, gently brushing them across his skin before kissing it “could I have a taste, of your blood I mean? I’ve always wondered how you would taste” reminiscing back to when they were younger, Luna somewhat resembling a boy despite how fragile she acted and the time spent rolling around and playing in the mud just to get yelled at for getting dirty.

"Furry? You mean like a beastman, or an animal?" Lair asks, glancing back at Oahu, then at the window again. Before he gets to search for something of that description, the barkeep interrupts, staring at the two guests curiously.

"What'll you folks be 'aving today?" the man asks a bit impatiently. "Is the seatin' fine?"

"Oh, uh, yeah," Lair replies rather quickly. "Just some scrambled eggs for now."

"Might take a bit, though. The delivery man still hasn't come back with the ingredients from the marketplace."

"How odd," Lair mutters, though loud enough to be audible. "I guess I'll take whatever is available."

"What about you, uh... sir?" He glances at Oahu, then at the raptors. Lair keeps staring at the door, almost as if expecting additional company.

"I think I'll have a salad." Oahu said. He then turned back to Lair.

"Yeah. Something furry. And I think I saw an ear. I'm not sure."

Oahu glanced out the window. Nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be going on.

"Of course we can. I haven't been in a bath this good in a month. Only too cold lakes,"
Silas said with a content sigh as his muscles were the most relaxed they would be probably all day. She moved towards his neck. While that would normally be the point where he kills any other female since canines were religious about protecting their jugular, Luna was different. Plus, she was smooth and felt silky, even silkier by the bath they were in. It smelled of Vanilla and Lavender, which were aphrodisiacs. To his sensitive nose, the effect was amplified. Was this all planned out? Silas didn't care.

"Go ahead," Silas said, giving her access to his neck. Silas assumed that she wasn't a plague vampire, one that could turn someone else into a vampire with a bite. Even if she was.......he was willing to for her. Since she was a half-vampire though, it wasn't likely. "Hopefully I don't taste too bitter," he gave a small laugh and hugged her closer to his neck

A woman was coming into consciousness. Her world was forming and............nothing but rattling and darkness. Was she really conscious? BUMP! She hit her head. If she wasn't conscious before, she was now. Groaning, she tried to move and found that she couldn't stand due to the bumping of the cart she was in. That really didn't matter because the chains on her feet would prevent her from moving. She couldn't reach anywhere without both hands going to the same place. Maybe it the fact that she was still trying to find herself in this dark bumpy world...........or maybe it was due to her hands being chained together. She moved her hands around until it found something vertical. Great! She braced her hands against it and used the leverage to stand up, having to hug it to keep her balance from the cart's bumping. She turned around and........still dark. Another bump and, when her head hit the wall she was braced against, her face rubbed against it. She felt some cloth on her face.

Risking a fall with another cart bump, she took her hand off the wall and shot it up to her eyes, removing what was covering it. That's when the woman caught sight of the first light of the day. She was almost blinded as the afternoon light assaulted her eyes burning them like she spent all night sleeping, until they adjusted. The floor was dark and all the light came in from a small window. It would be big enough to escape if there weren't 3 metal bars covering it and preventing escape.

This was Eliana McKenzie, on her way to a Slave Auction. Who knew what abuse was in store. She was relatively lucky up to this point that her abuse wasn't sexual. Just intense physical abuse, not that that was much better

"Oi, Jenny. It's time to move if we want to bust this Slave Auction." An old man tapped her shoulder. They were at their HQ, a building serving as a front for their operations. This old man was armed with a rapier. This was Sir Joseph Watson, known as the Old Dawn General, for his work since he turned 18 in the army. He had long since retired from the army, but people needed to be saved, especially when that person is the oracle for a village pillaged by a group of bandits. She was their prime objective, but any slave they found, they would liberate and get to safety. "As always, prepare for the possibility of a fight. Our work hasn't gone unnoticed over the years and the slave drivers have started to get a wee bit violent lately."

Sir Joseph was a MASTER with the rapier and with Spell Blade. That was all he ever needed in his life and he won more medals than any other soldier in his lifetime. He was an honorary royal knight and even in old age, could still take on a group of 10 Eldritch Knights. He was ready to go save those without a voice, whose rights, freedom, and will were taken away, life exchanged for a couple of bucks. It disgusted Joseph and he would stop it one auction at a time.

Rose looked over at Sir Joseph. She nodded, putting all her potions in her trenchcoat. She didn't have any daggers on her, she worked entirely through spells and potions. "I'm ready when you are, Sir. Am I to be the bidder this time? I think you were last time so it would be good to alternate." She held a tremendous amount of respect for Sir Joseph, and he had been a good mentor to her when she was a teenager. She had been working with him for about twenty years now.

Luna climbed into his lap, straddling his legs she pressed against his chest, only pricking his skin enough to draw blood. Pressing her lips down against his skin, her tongue lapping the blood up. Blushing as her eyes started to glow red, breathing slightly heavier as she closed her eyes, savoring the sweet taste of his blood as it trickled down her throat. Stopping herself as beads of sweat started to run down her neck, giving off a pheromone now she looked at him “the bath must be getting....to me” Luna lied as she placed her hands lightly on his chest she looked down at him as she wanted eat him, figuratively speaking.

Lair keeps silent about the conversation in front of the stranger. The barkeep writes the order down and simply walks to place it in the hanging wire for the cook to prep. He steps back behind the bar and picks up a newspaper, only to be interrupted by the bell over the entrance ringing. A rather large, well built man holding a container full of supplies enters.

"Oi, who're you? Where's the usual delivery boy?" Calls out the barkeep.

"He's not comin' today," replies the man's gruff voice. "He's feeling a bit under the weather."

"Well, for next time, ya best be putting the supplies through the kitchen's back entrance," the barkeep growls. "No point in it now that the customer's seen ya. C'mon now."

As the two head to the back, Lair eyes the man with suspicion, though almost immediately drops it. Pure coincidence, he thought. As they disappear from sight, Lair glances once more to the window and noticed that the rain had picked up once more in their area. "It seems like we aren't going anywhere for a bit," he sighs. "How are the little ones holding up?"

Silas breathed a bit heavy as well. Whatever that pheromone was, it was working on Silas's sensitive nose. She's trying to manipulate you, Young Alpha. Deep down, Rage started talking to him, that same demon, Bloodlust, that took over in his fight against Raven.
Doubtful, Silas said in his mind as he looked at Luna. "Are you sure it's not my blood," he said with a chuckle. Between the warmth of the bath and Luna literally straddling his lap, Silas couldn't tell between sweat and vapor. The vampires apparently loved strong aphrodisiac smells in droves. Everything was getting to him. He kissed her deeply and held her there. "So is this what you wanted to sit here for? Private Displays of affection?" He was convinced that Luna specially chose those scents to raise the tension a bit. And it worked. He stood up, still holding her and kissed her again. "Earlier you said some PDA in your chambers, yes?"

Keep me in mind, Young Alpha. I standby ready to rip her apart, Bloodlust said to him, but Silas was FAR too relaxed. That's what the Blood Moon Awakening at 5 years old did to him. Implanted the Bloodlust deep in his mind separate from the rest unlike other werewolves. Right now though, Silas wasn't having it. It usually kept him balanced and somewhat on guard, but he just wanted Luna right now.

"Aye. You are to bid this time around while I scout for potential escape routes and bidders of interest to arrest." This allowed Rose to be a bit more well-rounded in every aspect. Escaping and setting up the field to manipulate. They typically chose a bidder, usually whoever spent the most amount of money, to arrest when the auction was over and dispersed. In a way, they weren't simply giving them money for them to keep going. They actually took down slave drivers. "The objective is named Eliana McKenzie." He showed her a picture of Eliana.

"This young beauty here is currently 26 years old, but more importantly, she's an oracle to the Norbury Village. She can see spirits and was given the Oracle Key. She was kidnapped and sold around for quite a bit for 5 years, but no one could really keep her position pinpointed long enough to plan a liberation effort. That's where we come in, dearie." They were effectively slave-liberating mercenaries. Joseph put on his coat and grabbed his umbrella. What he wore was high class leather armor. "She had a horse and the key with her, so the village wants us to go about escorting her back to where she was kept to retrieve her horse and her Oracle Key as they are pretty important to the Norbury people. Luckily, there are slave auctions going on throughout that path back............." Joseph sighed. He got all the mission parameters, not Rose. Best to not overwhelm her by giving her stuff other than the mission to think about. ".........But I'm looking too far ahead. If you have no questions, let's proceed on out. It's taking place at Lerwick City, not too far from here."

Running a little from the rain Nyrea entered one random pub she saw a men with food containers enter. This was her kind of place, shady enough not to stand out or to be bothered. People in these places normally kept to themselves and knew better than to ask questions. Pulling her hood down and shaking what water of it she could she walked to the bar with her usual confidence, smiling to the barkeep while taking her surroundings surreptitiously. Most of the place was empty but one of the tables caught her eye. "Aren't you two a vision?" she taught to herself while noticing the little... well she wasn't sure of what those were but they sure were interesting.

Before the barkeep had a chance to ask anything she started talking "I want whatever food you have ready, and please don't tell me is a mysterious stew, a girl can only take so much mystery. Some ale too"

Only giving her a nod the barkeep made the cup of ale slide on the counter to her. Grabbing it she sat down at one of the stools and turned around to now blatantly stare at the creatures trying to figure them out. "Maybe some lizard bird?"

"No no," Silas said, dipping back into the water. "Only when we're both ready. I don't know much about vampire customs and courtesies, but you have free access to my blood." Werewolves didn't have some equivalent to that custom, and all of what Silas was taught about vampire by anything other than a book he himself read was negative. He was on a learning curve about vampires and things went from 0 to sensual in about 2 hours.

She would be his first as well, but that part of him that wanted to tear into her was a more carnal instinct. Silas wanted a lot more intimacy than those raw instinctual experiences. He looked at her and then hugged her close. His wolf ears came back out. His head hadn't gotten wet, so no wet dog smell here. "I can feel parts of you as well." He said, still pressed against her (Either her stomach or chest). Canine empathy. While they felt pretty much the same emotions, they could somewhat see it from each other's point of view. "All we have done together has led up to this point. We have a lot to do before our big day."

The tail wagging rapidly under the water, blushing a deep red she looked back at the tail “s-so that’s why...dad never let me....Silas what do I do?!?!?” Her ears laid down as her tail wagging slowed, her attention falling back onto his eyes. Due to her mother’s blood mixed with her fathers she would temporarily gain the traits of anyone whose blood she drank, for up to twenty four hours. She couldn’t gain any of their abilities but only minor things, the tail and ears, heightened senses in the case of silas’s Blood.

Aeryn stopped, and turned on her heel to look for who she had bumped into. With a sigh, she spotted a man on the ground, and who had yet to get up. Looking around the crowd, the guards were no where in sight, and if she had learned anything it was that sometimes accidents weren't really accidents. A name like hers caused trouble where ever it went, and so Aeryn could never be to careful. However...

"There's no reason to exaerate so much, I barely even touched you," Aeryn told the man as she out attached her hand fro him to take, "However, it was rude of me still. And I must apologize." Manners were always important and this man would probably do her no harm. "Well, come on get up. You can't keep being dramatic."

Before Oahu got to answer his question, the hanging door bell rings once more as a woman enters the pub. An elf, he thought to himself as he took notice of her pointed ears almost immediately. The barkeep only takes a few seconds to head back from the kitchen area to take her order, though doesn't manage to speak a word; the newcomer was aggressive in her verbal approach without giving him a chance. She has to if she's a mercenary of sorts, he reasoned somewhat empathetically. Still, Lair wasn't sure if she was the one who might have been trailing them. Oahu did say he saw something furry, and something about an ear? Maybe it was the blue feathers resting on her hair that he mistook for a pointed furry ear. That might have been what he meant... But the million dollar question here was, is she after the two of them?

"Oahu, is she maybe the thing that you saw earlier?" he whispers at the beast tamer, hoping that the half-elf didn't catch his words. He was able to detect from his peripheral vision that she was studying them quite openly, which was almost suspicious in its own right. Was she sizing them up to see if she could take them on, one on two? Or was she distracted by the sight of the miniature velociraptors just as he was less than an hour ago? There were too many unknowns that were making this a potentially dangerous game.

"I thought you couldn't look any more adorable, Luna," Silas almost howled with laughter. This was certainly unexpected. "Like I said, I know nothing about vampire customs and courteous. I know even less about Vampire Physiology." Silas had no idea what to do. She had werewolf blood in her veins now. It'd likely need to be circulated out with time.

"You should probably tell Raven. As old as he is, he might know." Of course that meant he would see that she gorged on his blood, but she couldn't very well stay like that unless she wanted a small taste of the human form werewolf. Even so, she couldn't hide it forever

Rose listened carefully, nodding. “Poor girl,” she said softly, and studied the picture for a moment. She had to be prepared. As she looked at the picture she was struck by the young woman’s beauty, though she shook her head, pushing such thoughts from her head. They had no place in a time like this. She looked at Sir Joseph. “Let’s head out.” She mounted her favorite horse and petted him gently. “Not a long ride today, my dear,” she murmured to him. “Let’s go.” She squeezed his sides and they were off.

Who are these Strangers?

Oahu looked over at the newcomer. She didn't look like whatever he'd seen lurking. He turned to tell Lair this.

"No. I seem to remember seeing golden fur. She's not who I saw." Oahu said. Just as he finished, a group of armed thugs led by a Lionfolk ran into the Pub. "He, however, is."

"This is a robbery!" The Lionfolk shouted. "We will be taking all your belongings and any creatures you might be harboring! Drop your weapons and we wont have to fight!" Oahu immediately got out of the booth and unsheathed his spear, taking a fighting stance.

Elaina was handled roughly, something she unfortunately came to grow used to these pass 5 years. Feet shackled, she could barely walk. Hands shackled, she couldn't move her arms. The only positive was that she was clean. A dirty slave lowered their looks, which made them come off as sick, which lowered their value to bidders. Gayle, words can't describe how much I need you right now, Eli sighed in thought as she was pushed and she ignored her usual berating. Slut, whore, slave meat. She was threatened constantly. She'd be beaten into submission, slapped for her whore mouth, made into a woman (even though she was 26). Nothing she hadn't heard of or experienced before (except the sexual abuse), but one thing she knew was that she wouldn't be struck. Not in front of her potentially new masters. Twould also lower her value.

Her clothing was rags, but intact. More intact than it would be any other day. Torn and ripped clothes spoke of terrible living conditions. Twould lower her value. Of course it showed her cleavage though, for all the perverted slave masters to objectify, male or female. Sex appeal raised her value. Unarmed and with all the merciless slave drivers, the chains were unnecessary for her hands. They were there though to complete the look. Slave meat to be bound and made to do any and everything you wanted. Sex appeal raised her value.

It was an auction after all, an entire metagame to get the most out of a slave, the greatest net worth of a life, human or not

They arrived at the gates. "A large store or warehouse is what my intel says. Shouldn't be hard to find. Have an alias ready." Joseph walked in the gates and looked around. They should find the warehouse quite easily. Just see where all the caravans seem to be going

Location: City of Redvale

Smiling a little to herself Nyrea watched the little creatures while sipping her ale that was as terribly bland as she was expecting. The owner of the little things and his companion probably didn't feel too comfortable with her open curiosity but she supposed as long as didn't make any action in their direction that it wouldn't end in a confrontation. She was too tired and hungry to feel up to some random act of violence on her part. Besides if she intended to do something she wouldn't be so obvious, she was a professional after all.

The bell in the door ringed again, this time to announce the entrance of a Lionfolk leading a group of thugs. Nyrea kept her eyes on the little creatures deciding to openly ignore the new comers. That is until he started shouting.

"This is a robbery!" The Lionfolk shouted. "We will be taking all your belongings and any creatures you might be harboring! Drop your weapons and we wont have to fight!"

Sighing loudly, Nyreah closed her eyes. The gall of this people. Opening her eyes and looking at them through her eyelashes, with her cup still near her lips she started talking, her voice calm and playful. "No please? I'm hurt." Putting the cup in her lap she continued in the same tone "Can this wait a little? I'm in a middle of a drink."

In the corner of her eye she noticed the human adopting a fighting position. Maybe they could deal with this? She certainly didn't feel like getting up now.

Rose nodded firmly. “I think they’ve started to pick up on my old alias, I’ll make up a new one,” she said. She had her hands in her coat pockets and she had her hair up in a wrap so they couldn’t see her distinctive red hair. “I’m ready to head in when you are. I see it over there, they’re all filing in.”

Caius Grants
Redvale: Marketplace -> Shady Pub
As he continues his window shopping in the rain, Caius felt a gaze upon him. Now, it wasn't through something like a sixth sense of any of the sort, but a reflection he saw on on of the shop windows. There he saw a petite figure, and he certainly felt that it was staring at him. From what he could tell, the figure may have been that of a girl's, but as she was cloaked, he couldn't be sure. As for the reason she would have for staring at him, Caius was quite clear on that. It was what he was carrying with him, his arsenal of death, so to speak. He probably should have left most of it back at the inn, carrying with him only the necessities. Though after having his room robbed that one time he just simply isn't comfortable with any of his belongings out of his sight. After awhile of trying to ignore the staring, Caius thought to at least wave at the cloak figure to show that he is indeed friendly. However, his decision came a bit too late as the figure had already moved on to whatever business she has.

Eventually he moved on himself, deciding that he may grab a bite before heading back and was quickly able to find a rather lively looking establishment, one that appears to have quite a line about its entrance. Thought there were much noises and shouting, it was mostly muffled out by the rain and Caius assumed it to be mostly merry making and approach the establishment with a light mood, not expecting any trouble. So he went on ahead and stood right behind the thugs gathered at the entrance, not wishing to cut into the "line", completely oblivious to the ongoing robbery at the moment.

Eli found herself looking at a bunch of people like her. Chained, some gagged or mouths taped. Eli looked at them and felt terribly bad. She couldn't do anything herself, let alone try to actually help them. All she could do was wonder what was in store for her and where Gayle and her Key was. They may not even let her back in Norbury without the Key. Gayle was irreplaceable to her, but that key was powerful sacred treasure to the village. Eli wondered what was out there even if she managed to escape. Terrible clothing, unarmed, can't go back to Norbury without that Key. She'd end up in the same situation she was in now with the only difference being that she could walk away unharmed.........but walk away to what?

Sir Joseph Watson
Joseph put on his hood and approached the warehouse. When they got in, they were greeted by the reception, which were two heavily armed guards with a LOT of people, all just as armed. If they didn't have a bunch of weapons, they were shackled and mostly kneeling or crawling on the ground. Seeing those slaves like that made Joseph want to stab right through the guard's throat. He swallowed the thought though. He would die here if he did. "Name? Driver or Bidder?" One of the guards

"Took these slavers a long time. Now then let's try and get a strategy formed here. Ellie won't be back for a bit so I best have a plan ready." Cross went and pulled some paper. from the walls of his and Ellies room. To him it was surprising that a group he was hunting ended up holding an auction in the town he lives in. So instead of the usual travel Cross was able to take this plan at a lesisurely pace and get some sleep for once. But then it dawned on him. "Gods dammit I need a look at their base!" All of that planning and Cross left one of the more important bits out of the planning phase. He quickly scrounged up a comm crystal and attempted to call his wife but she answered "Kinda busy honey. Food ain't buying itself that and Sieg is being a goof. Siegbert don't you da-." Cross sighed as the comm crystal went silent. Leave it to his son to give Ellie trouble. "Wait Joseph! No wait never even gave the guy a way to contact me. But who's to say that..." Cross got up and dressed himself now ready for battle. "No target has ever seen my face. No chance they can recognize me as the Liberator. Asterus!"

As Cross called the Phoenix it burst into existence in front of him. "Do you even believe the idea of settling down? Don't answer that it's as you say. The wicked don't sleep and we won't either. The phoenix sighed as it tailed Cross into the city and landing on the Draconians shoulder. And the two began their search for Joseph.

The lionfolk stares at the woman's casual response, brows furrowed once he notes that her words were laced with insolence. "I guess it can't be helped," Lair mumbles outloud, reaching for his back and unsheathing his own weapon. Once the bandit leader sees the resistance, he draws his own heavy sword, almost welcoming the coming slaughter with a smile.

"We wouldn't want any unnecessary casualties now, would we?" he growls maliciously as he signals a thug over to the woman. The henchman draws his own long dagger over her head to use her as leverage. At this point, two things were confirmed. The first being that the woman sitting in the bar wasn't affiliated with them. The second being that, just from her composure alone, she was much more of a threat then she appeared to be.

Lair was trying to think of what to do... The only thing that came to mind was waiting for the woman to perform the first strike, seeing how she was the one who was being held captive. However, he realized that it wasnt worth the risk to wait.

In one swift movement, he unhands his naginata with his right hand and reaches for the dagger in a concealed pocket, throwing it at blinding speed at the thug's shoulder, forcing the arm holding the weapon to be thrown out of center. Not too bad of an outcome, as he was aiming for the throat. Though there was still a risk that he'd quickly recover and strike at the woman.

He darts towards the grunt with his body low and spear forward, aiming for his heart. A yellow flash of the lionfolk's arm blocks the attack, spear meeting sword in a loud, violent spark; the leader of the pack grins. "So you'll be the first one, will you?" he growls lowly with a devilish smile, with two rows of sharpened teeth in display. More of the grunts fill the room, each with their own weapon drawn.

It made Rose feel sick. She put on a strong face and made direct eye contact with the guard. “Anastasia Silverman. This is my friend Peter Kingsley. Both bidders,” she said, gesturing to Sir Joseph. She had been through this hundreds of times. It used to scare her, but it didn’t faze her anymore. She scanned the room, feeling awful for every single person who was being sold. Then her eyes locked on Eli. That was her target.
