I've been wanting to get this setting idea of mine down in writing for some time now and I figured that I could easily use this forum as both a tool and a medium. So here it is.
First a little bit about the setting. It is, as the name suggests, inspired and influenced by the Arthurian Legends...
The Seer has foreseen it:
Eye in the sky.
Villainy rising from within.
Shadows of an iron fist.
Fall of heroes.
The year is 1978. The Knights of the Round Table, the alliance of superheroes formed by Merlin during the Second World War, are sending a new satellite into space. The...
Particularly, if I were to run a game of Savage Worlds (Deluxe Edition) on this or any forum, how should I handle the game's initiative mechanics which is based on cards and not dice rolling? I like the mechanics, but this is a hindrance I don't really know how to handle.
Thoughts or insight?
Ian MacManus, Cahalith Bone Shadow
Ian grew up on a farm along with his family of two brothers, mother and father, and his grandmother. The pressure from his parents to partake in the farming work is probably what drove him to follow a different path, but in part it was because he was an...
Welcome to New Camelot; a city of dreams and where the impossible takes place every day. This is where the Knights of the Round Table joined forces for the first time and defeated Morgana of the Fey. This is where the spirit of King Arthur reawakened into Arturia, the Queen of Heroes. The site...
Attributes are the core statistics of a character. There are only six Attributes that have the role of fitting nearly every situation in the game, either directly or through derived traits. This is not easy thing to figure out, and so the Attributes may need to be altered if necessary.
The six...
This thread is for discussing Skills. Do you think any are missing? Do you think some are redundant? Should this be replaced by that? What is the applicable use of this Skill? What is the limit of that Skill? And so on and so forth. Any discussion regarding Skills, their use and whether they...
Iron's Deep was once called Iron's Hill, but that was centuries ago. Now the hill is gone, and a seemingly endless hole into the deep earth has taken its place. The mines reach deep enough so that you cannot see the bottom from the top, and there is never any direct sunlight that reaches the...
Corvatio is a town by the Golden River. It belongs to Corvin and serves as the city's primary platform of commerce with the rest of the Civilized World and beyond.
Every now and then I come to the conclusion that I have waaay too many ideas for my own good. Essentially, I produce more ideas for games and characters that I know I cannot put into good use. But I still dream of the time when I can, so I hold onto those ideas because maybe, just maybe, there...
Here is somewhat how I would like your characters to be laid out. Keep in mind that the bits inside (...) and the ?-marks are meant to be replaced. Obviously, you are free to change the colors and add pictures. Some of this is written from memory at a time where I was very tired. I am going to...

In Germany, near the Black Forest, a farmer claims to have seen a hill late one evening that he swears was not there before. The hill was gone in the morning and hasn't been seen since. And all I can think of is Sound of Music jokes

Believe it or not, there are some scientists who actually believe that the monster that have been appearing in London are actually some hastened mutation caused by radiation. As if. I don't know what the hell is causing it, but I seriously doubt that it's some shitty...

Murder in Mexico City is probably nothing new, but this is different. Gruesome scenes appear all over the city where multiple victims appear to have been ripped apart. The police has never seen anything like it, and what creeps them out is that many of the attacks seem to...

Three months after the London Catastrophe, the government started realizing that the stories of monsters in the dark were more than just stories. First guess was an alien attack, and it is still the official explanation although nobody's buying it, and the government sent...
Two years ago, the Pantheons started a program that was supposed to enforce the positive relations between them. They had their Scions join together into Bands that would fight side by side and share great adventures. Last year, this program was terminated.
An argument between Odin and...
