  • My baby girl struck me in the eye yesterday with a tool that measures air pressure in tires. Still hurts.

My condolences. Nothing with lasting effects I hope.
I want to run an M&M game, but I'm not sure whether to go with 2nd or 3rd edition (I have more 2nd books but I like what they did with 3rd).

Not knowing either I can't say, but "having more books," does not seem like a winning argument over "good ideas." Assuming you're talking about Mutants and Masterminds, my knowledge of either is fairly limited, but I recall 2nd edition being quite trivial to break into little pieces (but fun little pieces!). 3rd edition may have patched some of those problems.

3rd edition does some things well but 2nd edition does other things better IMO. So I am torn between the two. I've never disliked 2nd edition though.

Congratulations to you and your partner. (Insert Evangelion Ending's worth of Further "Congratulations!".) :)
Getting married next Saturday and preparations will eat up my spare time. Expect slow updates if any until next Monday (earliest).

Congratulations! May no one in either of your families make a scene! And may your partner look the best you've ever seen them!
How do you like the new system? remember you can edit prefixes that your main forum has and subforums. You can also make custom ones instead of using the premade subforums. Its the +Custom Subforum.

So far, it looks pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to messing around with it in the future :)
    Overly bright, don't you think?

I liked the old layout and I am sad to see it go, but after fiddling a bit around with the color scheme and darkening the background, I believe this can work out. It is mostly too bright because it was so dark only yesterday. It is a big change that needs to get used to.

Aye. I expect after a few days, it'll be like clockwork and everything will fall back into place once more and work perfectly. We will see, though. Overall, not disappointed with it by any stretch.

The thing I liked the most about the old forum from earlier this week (a bit early I think to call it "old" yet), is that it didn't look like every other forum I've been to. It was refreshingly different, and that is the number one thing I miss, and the primary reason I am not a #1 fan of the new layout. It looks too much the same as everything else.
Plan on recruiting for my homebrew system in the near future.

Skari-lite. Now coming to shelves at a store near you. Stay thirsty my friends.
@Gonzo excellent comic, got really into it. Amazed I haven't heard about it until now, but I'm gonna spend time reading it when I can :D
I have vicious coughing. I hate vicious coughing, with the fiery hate of Tartarus on oyster day!
Apologies to my players for slow updates this week; being sick tends to do a number on one's thought processing.
I'm thinking about doing a PbP Scion that ties in with my RL Scion campaign that we're getting back into. Might start recruitment soon.

If you do, let me know. I would love to play in a Scion game. The one that I'm in now is moving at a snail's pace and is very frustrating.

While this is a cool idea on paper (and one I wouldn't mind joining), be warned that excepting one, all the pbp games I have been in have been almost infinitely slower than meatspace games.
