Fantasy Two Worlds Collide

"I can't make that promise Azra. I don't have that kind of sway right now. But I can promise that I will do what I can to make that happen so we both getvwhat we want. We go back a long way Azra, I give you my word, can I trust yours still?" He asked her.

Rowan couldn't help but to think of how adorable he was as he talked about the woman he loved. "She may, and it'll be good for me to know what to do. But I think her love for you and joy at having you back will win just enough that she'll let you live." She teased gently. "I can't wait for the time you two can be together again." She added with a quiet laugh. It was strange how happy the thought made her even if she was not part of it. But knowing how happy they would be together was enough.

Azra looked at him, "When have you known me not to do what is best for my family." she asked him, she smirked, "i swear on my family, I will tell you, and only you, what I can, if it means I can reunite my children with their father."

Eric smirked, "I have to admit, that is the only reason that I allowed the return to live to stick." he chuckled as he sighed, standing up, "I should get going and so should you. Pretty sure Caleb saw me, earlier. I have some Spy training, but it's hard to know for sure if a Spy catches you until it is too late. And very few are at the level Caleb is at." He smirked down at her, "But as long as I have you, I think Caleb will keep me alive."

Nicoli studied her a moment. "Tell me what you can and I will do what I can to return your children to their father. I can't promise you'll be with me, but I promise I will get them here." He said gently.

Rowan grinned. "Well you'll have me, we're partners in this afterall." She said with a playful wink. "I'm pretty sure Caleb helped us out, though his star was awfully close to my head..." she said playfully in mock consideration. She didn't know what it was, it was just a feeling that Caleb knew what they were trying to do and that he helped her the best way he knew how. She moved to get to her feet. "We should probably meet again tonight? Or would another time be better?" She asked him.

Azra looked at him for a moment, then she sighed, "They are preparing for a full out attack on the human world. Collected everything they can from the other towers. They are planting more spies in the other towers and are going to try to get actual Spys to join. They captured one and he wouldn't do as they wanted, so they killed him. But they are aiming for the best Spys to turn against the towers." then she pulled back, "They already have one near Hector, they think he can find a way to control a Spy, since brainwashing, mind control and blackmail would never work on a Spy."

Eric smirked, winking at her, "I will see you, don't worry about when. Just know we will meet when I have something, just keep Hayden in your sights and I promise to keep Brandon off my tail."

Nicoli felt his blood run cold as he listened to her. "Do you know who it is that they have who is close to Hector?" He asked her, his voice tense. The rebels trying to get Spy's on their side was going to be an issue, though he had a plan starting in his mind for that part. "Do you know who any of the other spies are?" He asked.

Rowan giggled some and nodded. "I can do that. I look forward to getting to know her better." She said. She sighed and pulled her hair back into a pony tail. "See ya around partner." She said playfully before moving to leave the room. She stopped at the door. "Oh, careful of the maze in the training area. I think they're hoping to use it to catch you." She informed him, then she left the room.

Azra pulled away from him completely, shaking her head, "No. I am just a soldier, they tell me what mission to go on and sometimes it is to kill other shadows on missions. I don't know how they find out about missions or who is behind it all. I only know that who ever it is is someone no one really notices. I suspect it is a Dier, since they hear things at a distance. That is obvious, they are not always with Hector, some secret missions they find out about, like Rowan's mission." she pointed out.

Eric's eyes lite up, "Maze?" then he bite his lip, "Damn it. Stay away from the training area, got it." he said, even though he obviously wanted to see what it was and he wanted to go there."

Nicoli listened carefully, nodding in understanding. He would need to find a way to get this information to Hector without the spy finding out. He didn't want to risk what those consequences would be. "Do you know how they have been targeting those they pull in?" He asked her.

Rowan giggled at seeing his expression. "All in due time." She promised him, the door shutting behind her as she moved towards the training area.

Azra nodded, "Their power and influence. They got Eric because he was a blood shadow weapon wielder, they blackmailed Yu with his wife's death, because he was a Science that worked on the alternative shadow weapons, but he didn't know what they wanted. They do this with a lot of new members." she said, they had both know Yu, he relocated to another tower with his betrothed.

Nicoli frowned. He hadn't known Yu's wife had passed. He looked down, covering his face with his hands for a moment and then he looked back to Azra. "Do you know how their brainwashing process works? Or how to undo it?" He asked her.

She shook her head, "No. I know they use a healer, science and a psy to do it." she explained and then sighed, "That is all I know about the process. I was one of the ones that retrieved Eric, they spent hours with him and there was a lot of yelling. I imagine it is painful."

Especially for someone it didn't work on. "Okay." He said. He thought for a moment. "Alright, here's the deal Azra. We need more information, but I don't have time to get it from you. Helena will be back any moment with Kyle. I will return tomorrow for more information and by then I will see what I can do about the process for getting your kids. Are you able to tell me anything about where they're kept? Anything atvall about the compound?" He asked her. He glanced towards the door and then to her again. He had to leave before Kyle returned.

Azra looked at him, with some relief, "It's called the school. It's somewhere near the Darkness, no one will go in there but there is a chance that it is located there. All I know, is they tell me where they take them, is dark mostly and when they get there, it's guarded." she nodded, "I will try to figure out more, as long as you will help my children get home."

Nicoli nodded. "Well, lucky for you I'm one of the few who have made it out of the darkness. I will learn what I can Azra." He promised her. He reached for her hand, giving g it one more squeeze before quickly leaving the room. He had just made it to his hiding place when Helena and Kyle came back. He sighed, running through everything in his head. He needed to get Hector to his room, it wasn't the best of places but he knew it was completely secure from a spy. It would be the best place to tell Hector what Azra had told him.

Helena smirked as she left Kyle alone with Azra, who seemed eager to be with her husband. Helena sighed as she went to find Nicoli.

"We've got some problems." Nicoli said, gently taking Helena's arm and pulling her with him. He said nothing else until they had gone to where Hector was. He'd check and see first if there was another safe place they could talk. "Helena is there a place in Hector's office that will be safe to talk? There is a spy who is close to him, we need somewhere that will be totally secure." He said quietly as they r ached the office.

Helena looked at him surprised before she thought, nodding, placing her finger to her mouth, she took his hand. She traced a symbol that she had before. It was the same as when they had been younger, a place she showed him in the castle that was between the worlds. They spent a lot of their free time hiding there as they got the chance to get to know each other, until they were so connected every time they were in the castle was time for them to be around each other and happy just with being in the same room together.

Nicoli couldn't help but to smile a little. The memory of when they were younger coming back to him at full force. He did still love her, he'd forgotten how much, but he still lived his wife too. He looked to her and nodded his understanding. "Let's get your uncle and then go." He said, meaning that in between place. It would be perfect for what they needed.

Helena nodded as she followed him, "I think he was going to his office, so he shouldn't be hard to find."

Nicoli nodded. He kept running through everything. A couple plans forming. She had been right, he wasn't much one to follow protocol, but there was so much going on and at risk. When they reached Hector's office he knocked as a formality and then entered. "Hector?" He called as he looked around.

Hector looked up from his book, surprised, "Helena, Nicoli, I thought you were going to see your daughter?" he said a little surprised they weer together but part of him understood it too well why they were. Helena never stopped loving Nicoli and Hector figured that was how he was back. But at teh same time he was surprised they would both come to him together. "What's going on?" he asked concerned.

Nicoli glanced to Helena and then to Hector. "If you wouldn't mind coming with us. It's important that we speak privately. We have a place already chosen." He said, his voice lowered.

Hector looked at them confused, before he nodded, 'OK. Lead the way." he said as he closed the book to follow them.

Nicoli nodded. He helped Helena draw the symbol and in no time they were in the space between. He sighed, and waisted no time. "Listen to me first, then ask questions." He instructed gently. "First, I got Azra to talk to me. We made a deal. She does have children, twins. They're names are Emma and Emmet." His voice softened as he spoke of the children. "I promised her I would get them. All she knows right now is they're located in the Darkness. I promised That I would bring them back here so they can meet their father. Kyle is the father." He confirmed, looking to Helena and then back to Hector. "She also informed me that there is a spy they have close to you Hector, possibly a Dier though she doesn't know. She says they're the reason so many of our teams have been attacked so easily." He added. He continued on, retelling everything Azra had told him about the rebel's plans to attack the human world as well as their attempt to take on Spys to help them. "I wondered, you said Caleb had a liking to my daughter. Perhaps if he won't listen to you he might help Rowan, but what better Spy than Caleb to keep tabs on the Spys the rebels manage to take in?" He suggested.

Hector listened to Nicoli and sighed, he was concerned about everything that he was being told and waited for a moment, before he shook his head, "Caleb is already on his way to a mission, I wouldn't be able to speak with him." he took a moment, thinking about what he had been told. Then he looked to Helena, "I'm going to send you to the Hall, Gal has already started developing a protective warning system for that section. You will be alone and no one will know you are there." Helena nodded in understanding before he turned to Nicoli, "You still have a mission in a few days. Speak to Azra once a day, to get as much information on her children and anything she can think of to help with the Spys. If they get a hold of a few Spys were are in danger of losing this war. I will warn the other Towers and talk to the Council, to pull back the Spys that are not in missions and this coming off of them." he sighed, "For now, if I do have a spy on me, I will have to be more careful. It can be imagined that they are going to know about the mission I just explained to you earlier. I will have to reselect the members. I will send Kyle* with you, with out Shadow Weapon, instead. I can't leave the Tower just yet, it will have to work that way. For now, I guess I should be taking a trip to the Council. The mission will have to be pulled back, a day or two. In the mean time, you will have to start collecting members for the mission to the darkness. " he looked to Helena and then to Nicoli, with a half smirk, "I guess it was a good think Helena went against the family and collected part of your soul, to bring back. Keep Kyle* updated and try to not get caught, for now, I will need you to help Rowan. Her mission is to work with Eric to find the spies of this tower. Rowan has to keep Brandon from getting Eric, who they believe is brain washed and has escaped to spy on the tower for the rebels."

Nicoli nodded his understanding and then hestitated a brief moment. "Hector Azra knew Rowan is the only one who knows where those shadow weapons are. If Azra knows then so do the other rebels who had been with her. Perhaps if Eric tails Rowan, it's possible she may have some spies following her as well. They might be able to catch those if they haven't already." He suggested. "I will be keeping an eye out too for any remaining spies...you wanted Eric on the mission with J and myself in a few days. Will he still be under cover as a spy?" He asked. Eric would be an ideal candidate for taking to the darkness as well. As would J. However it was one of the most dangerous places they could go and it had been a miracle he'd gotten his team all out in one piece the time he'd been there.
