History: Emery was born and raise as a fighter. Although the history of their people has been to make peace, keeping it has caused them to create soldiers like him to fight and make sure that they were safe and peace was kept. At a young age, Emery was taught to wield a weapon and he favoreddouble short blades. He also became familiar with twin daggers which he keeps at his lower thighs, in case his short blades are out of reach. By age 15, he was marked as an honorable warrior of peace, a title he shares with many, including Nicoli, a warrior that went MIA long before he picked up a blade. Now, they are at war and he is unaccounted for. He has been assigned the mission to return him to ranks, before joining in the war himself

Age: 19


History: Just a normal kid, a year out of high school and still living with her parents during the summers. When she was younger she had a vivid imagination, so much so that she could have sworn her imaginary friends were very real. Her father convinced her they were imaginary. But as she got older and older she still saw them. She was afraid she was hallucinating and starting to go crazy. She approached her parents with it and her mother wanted her to go to the doctor, but her father convinced her that medication would do her no good. So she learned to try to ignore them. Most the time. Though t was a struggle that sometimes hurt her when she didn't do it right. But in a way they were still her friends. At least some of them. Even if they didn't speak or interact like they had when she was a child.


Now she is just trying to get through college. She has one year down and a few more to go. She wants to help kids with the same problem she has, not realizing that there is not really anyone else like her.

Age: 22


History: Sarah was born into the life, just like Emery. Her weapon is the Bow which she specially crafted. Sarah was raised as an orphan that took a liking to the peacekeepers, which their people call the warriors. By 7, she was able to step into the ring and the first person she trained with was Emery. He kicked her ass pretty bad, but since then she has only gotten better. Learning to fight and hoping one day to pay him back for their first meeting, in a friendly way. She is one of Emery's combat companions but she isn't the one that usually is running with him.

Age: 20


History: Adam moved up quickly for his age, becoming a fully respectable warrior by the age of 13, he is Emery's best friend and sometimes can act like a child. He was born into the right family that when they died, he was placed in his training, even without them. He has trained for about as long as he has been alive. He likes to play games and tricks on others. His blades are always on his back, no matter what he is doing and he likes to flirt.

History: Anthony was an orphan just like Sarah, they grow up in the same house and he was the one that was connected with Sarah the most. He part of the orphans that joined to be a warrior. But he quickly got the message that that meant killing. He was skilled in combat and made it to picking his weapon before he gave up at 16. He decided to be a healer instead and that proved to be harder for him. But he hasn't given up and is now at the level of being in charge of the greenhouse, a position held by more mature healers to make sure o herb is used the wrong way. His next level to reach will be combat and hospital healer.

Age: 37


History: Gal has two children and a loving wife, he is the commanding scientist on site and has always been the best at what he does, no matter what it may be. Born to warrior and healer, he was always taught to believe in more than just killing or healing. His curiosity in science is what got him started but what keeps him going is the vast knowledge he doesn't know.

Age: 67


History: Hector is a Guardian of the Earth Tower. He was born and raised in the tower and knows all about it, ever hiding spot and secret tunnels. He was trained as a warrior when he was young, before taking in by the knowledge he started training as a Wise and took his father's position as Guardian shortly after his son's birth. He leads to protect the humans and trained his son to take his place.

Age: 27


History: Hector's one and only son, he has been trained from birth in several practices; Wise, Warrior, Science, Healer, Tracker, etc. His father trained him to respect every work and practice. He is well respected and passive in many ways, knowing and learning all he can until his father has decided that he is ready to take his place. He was also raised in the tower and knows as much as Hector does for now.

Age: 28


History: Emery's older brother and the best warrior known of the generation that was both his and several before him. He was thought to have been killed on a mission saving Emery and has been locked away to keep that up. He was brainwashed and turned against what he believed, isolated from every seeing his little brother again in fear that that would make him turn back into the fun, loving and kind man he was before. Eric was gentle and sweet to all, he had a good heart and believed that humans were as treasured in live as any other Shadow would be.

History:Hayden was just under Eric when he was in the compound, all missions he did, she was part of. Their families had arranged a marriage between the two. She is a healer that has a little more combat ability then most. Now she is just under Anthony as the command of teh Healers.

History: Anna-Lee is a Nutra, she likes living things and has studied them from a young age. She was more the forth of five and spends a lot of her time focused on isolated studies, she is a introvert with trust issues, but she is also helpful and carrying in many ways.

History: Kyle has been a Psy for most of his time on the human side of the Shadow world, he has some experience with Healers and healing, as well as warrior training and some Dier knowledge.

History: A warrior that specializes in Intelligence, he is a Liar, a great one and one of the best in his field, he is used to collecting knowledge and being in front of the gun, so to speak. He is happy with his work and does his missions, keeping to himself.

History:Red is a young Master, she is a Warrior and trains her studies in varies arts. She is soft-hearted and loyal, but she has a way that makes her powerful and independent. As a master she is used to taking control but she is still a warrior, so she knows when she has to take commands.

History: Youngest History there is, he is an amateur warrior with skill with only one weapon, a bladed staff. He is the nephew of Gal and has some knowledge of science. He was born with any art for history and learning as well as outsmarting his Masters.

History:Eric's original best friend and rival, like Adam and Emery are, he became a Judge while Eric mastered his warrior skills. He is a great fighter and strog in a lot of ways, as judge he has some knowledge in science, healer, dier, Natra and psy. After Eric's death he helped train Emery and Adam, while protecting their kind from each other and between anything else that threatened their peace.

History: A Science under Gal, she is focused on just the ability to do her job, she has not training and no other skills, focusing on just the science that is their world. She liked to stay busy and working with others is not something she likes, unless they can challenge her. She doesn't like talented smart people she had to work for her knowledge and she is a little jealous with those that naturally know it.

History: Kyle's wife for the last 15 years, they were arranged to be married since they were born. She was a Warrior under Hector for 5 years and was learning the many skills of her husband, until 2 years ago when she switch sides, joining her brother. It caused a rift in her marriage, but she believed that it was worth it to work on building her marriage later.

History: Jean was a respectable Tracker, when she was under Hector. She followed the rules, was nice, kind and sweet. Emery and Jean tried to find common ground but soon learned that they would have to change their ways just a little to make it work. But then Jean started to do the one thing Emery hated. She started to lie, covering up her newly found cause to fight. Against her own castle, Jean because a rebel in order to establish dominance but that idea was beyond compromise with Emery but Jean was stubborn in her ways and joined the cause, full time.

History: Julia is a Dier, a warrior in everyway, but like Dier, everywhere, she is sometimes over taken by her animal instincts. She has always be allowed with Nicoli, they had been on the same team since they were about to and until he left. Julia is strong, powerful and wild.

History: A nice guy, Kevin clicked with his betrothed just fine until he met Julia. His family wasn't happy but after meeting Julia they understood. They still believe that she will get bored of him and vanish. But their marriage holds strong, even though they rarely act like they were together most of the time.

History: She is blood to Anthony, a Healer like her foster father, she picked up being a Justice from her foster mom. Annales is a Justice of the castle and is pretty good at what he does. She remembers their mothers leaving them, remembers the time that their mothers valued each other trouble, she never told Anthony that their parents abandoned them because they kept being in the way. Do holds it inside and issues it to protect, to remember why she protects.

History: Nicoli was a peace keeper and a warrior. He was one of the best while he stayed in that world. He loved everyone there and became a mentor to Eric before he left. But then he met a human woman and he knew he had to make a choice. It wasn't an easy choice, and if he didn't love her as much as he did he would have made himself forget about her. But she was his world and so he left the life he loved behind to make a new life, one he loved just as much. It was a surprise to him when their daughter was born able to see people from his world. Her looks were from her mother, but every other bit of her was from him and the world he had been from. He was not entirely surprised when Emery came to get him and as a result so did the things that ended up killing him and his wife. His shadow weapon is a Sword

History: She is a Science of another Tower and the niece of Hector, Kyle*'s older cousin, she is also a Dier. She uses her enhance ability to listen, see and break through barriers. Over 20 years ago, she was supposed to marry Nicoli, seeing a change in him from a mission, she found out he fall in love with a human and let him go. She held on to a stone that they both knew that he could not take with him to the human world. Helena has always been understanding and a great friend, so those that knew the pair knew that she was happy her uncle allowed him to go and follow his hear, even though most were sure she through herself into her work after over the heart break. Now, she heard of Nicoli's daughter and what happened to him, working on how to activate the stone, she is looking for Nicoli's body. She believes once a friend, always a friend. Rowan has already lost a mother, she can't help that, but maybe she doesn't have to be an orphan.

History: Selene and Helios are not their real names, just names they had told Rowan when they first met her. They were her "imaginary" friends growing up, and often looked out for her when she was a child. They were assigned to keep an eye on her and the family, even though they were just children too. They also chose to have some fun with it while they were there. They were fascinated by the human girl who could see them and who's father was sort of famous in their tower. They often go out on missions, they know how to fight, but they aren't quite warriors. They do a lot of covert stuff, but they aren't quite spies either.

History: J has always had a healthy competitive attitude with Nicoli, but there has always been the respect. He also put his lower family on the books, just as Nicoli has, with the tower. Jeremiah has always been an archer, his bow and specially designed arrows have always been a favorite of his. But his secondary weapon, his family shadow weapon, a hammer has never left his side. He keeps it hanging on his hip or in a shard on his back. J became the top warrior, until Eric grow up, when Nicoli left. He respected Nicoli's choice, rather had been the best in a fair fight. So, he didn't mind being second, to someone that was mentored by Nicoli, for a brief time. He is humble and focused, but a little overprotective at times, of members of the towers.

History: The eldest child of Kevin and Julia, he has been trained as a warrior like his parents, along with some Spy training. He likes his mother's katana, so he designed his own, transformable one. It has been his pride and joy, since he started his own missions.

History: The baby and only daughter of Julia and Kevin, Kelly is a Spy, who trained under Caleb. She isn't as skilled as he is, but she is pretty close. She likes her weapons, like her throwing knives and laso but her favorite weapon was her Wrist Blade, which she goes everywhere with.

Name: Emmett and Emma

Age: 2 yrs

History: Emmett and Emma were born months after their mother joined the rebels. They grew fast in their mother's eyes and wait to finally be able to see their father. They get to be raised by their mother when she isn't on missions, but sometimes, they have to go to 'school'. 'School is were they play with other kids, away from their mother for days and weeks, they also train to fight and are told that humans are evil. They don't understand, but they know humans are bad and that their parents need them to help keep their kind safe. While in 'school', they get to have friends and although they miss their mother terribly, they get to imagine what their father is like, from what stories their mother has told. Emmett is protective of Emma, because that is how he saw his father and Emma is sweet and caring to all, because that is how she saw her father. They both can be stubborn and strong welled like their mother and often miss their mother, when she is gone.

Age: 68

History: Nicoli's father, he had been a Warrior through and through. He 'retired' after his son left. Or at least as much as a shadow can. He will still help towers and often acts as a Master too when he is needed. His view point is a little more similar to Julia's in that Himans are meant to be protected and nothing else. When Nicoli left his tower and his betrothed for a human woman he felt - for the first time - a sense of disappointment for his son. He then quickly realized that his son followed his heart and he couldn't blame his stubborn, strong willed son for that. He was in charge of sending the twins when he learned Nicoli had a child. But he quickly lost track of the twins an so they stopped reporting to him. All gen learned from them was the name of his granddaughter.

History: Davina was Elias' betrothed. It was not a happy betrothal at first, but they were not going to get out of it and over time they learned to love eachother a great deal. She could never blame Nicoli for what he had done. Only for never getting to meet her granddaughter and the woman who had stolen her son's heart.
She was a healer and trained as a warrior for a short time. She still act so as a healer and like her husband, will act as a teacher, though not always a Master.

Age: 34

History: Devon is a Wise, from a Lower line of Wises. He values the material that he is sign to keep and he works with his wife, a History, to make sure that everything is recorded and kept. Devon is a Justice as well, with some Psy training, in order to keep everything safe. He doesn't like to fight but he isn't afraid to put his life in the line for the library he spends every day in.

History: Married to Brendon for the last eight years, she stays in her tower of the north. She doesn't like humans, fighting and she thinks the War Tower is the worse place for her husband, refusing to go there. When Brendon lost Eric, Miranda was sad but also glad that Brendon had lost his reason for staying in that tower. She wasn't happy when he had to go again and she wasn't happy to find out Eric was alive. Miranda is a Herbal and likes her place with the plants. She is always going to hate the war tower and she will do anything not to have to raise her children anywhere near it.

Name: Eri (her full name is Erika)

Age: 19

History: Erika is an orphan, and she belongs to the Southern Tower (south of the War Tower). She knows very little about her birth parents except that her mother was a Nutra from the Southern Tower and her Father was a warrior from the War Tower. She was born in the Southern Tower, her mother dying in the process, her father had already been dead after a mission gone wrong. After she was taken in by various healers until she was old enough to be on her own, never really having a permanent family. She is a Healer by trade because she spent the most time with them, but she had taken on the roles of being a Nutra and Warrior like her parents with the hope that it would give her some kind of connection to them. Becoming a Nutra was easy, it correlated nicely with her abilities as a Healer and over time they kind of merged together for her. Becoming a warrior was harder, especially since it wasn't a focus in her tower. She found people to train with though and was even allowed to travel to the war tower periodically for training. She picked up on it easy, able to also connect it to her ability as a Healer to find the weak spots in her opponents. She has no issue with fighting and acting as a warrior, she was good at it. But on Missions she is assigned as the acting Healer and Nutra.

She has a set of double swords she uses for protection and when she acts as a warrior.
A small blade that is also slightly curved in like a small shovel that she always has with her for procuring plants needed on short notice for medicines or other treatments.
And finally she has a set of small vials that she always manages to carry with her on missions that carry the most important and hard to make medicines in case something really bad happens.

Name: Iyana

Age: 60

History: The youngest and most powerful of Hector and Amelia, she was put in a deep sleep at the age of 24, for her violent and deadly powers after her return from the Darkness, were she spent two years lost after a mission with Hector went wrong. Although, she is the youngest she is not claimed in her family, she is an outcast to her own blood and she is not known to the War Tower, even though, that is were she is being held. Iyana is on a whole different level then Hector, as a Guardian. If she is allowed to be let loose she would destroy everything, but she is allowed to be released on missions into the Darkness or to be allowed to go on missions that are very dangerous to the members, just in case her powers are needed, it is the only time she is not a threat to anyone of her tower. She is only let out for missions, so she doesn't age.

Name: Alexander "Alex the Wielder"

Age: Unknown

History: Alex was born in the times just before the world was created and when the Shadows were taken out of the Darkness, he found a way to remain. He helped Iyana survive for a time, before it was thought that the witch that captured her years before she was found, had killed him. Alex is the wielder of the First Shadow Weapon and has never been outside of Darkness. He doesn't work with others and he only meet Iyana because she was left behind. Very few that are left behind survive the first night, but she was different. After finding out her power to see, he understood why and took care of her and trained her for a time, before he vanished from her life, when they were attacked by a coven of witches, in order to separate them. Alexander is a Shadow that refuses to be tamed or locked away and would rather die, but he is just as old as this world and probably older.
