I'm quite interested in this! I'm personally most intersted in Fakemon, mostly because I like making my own stuff, but have no problem doing normal Pokemon.
AhHhh I'm really glad that someone expressed interest! I guess going the shorter route was the right call here! If we used Fakémon for the medieval Roleplay, would that also interest you?
Glad to have your interest! And that's fine by me, nothing is set in stone yet and I'm sure we can work something out :3defcon interested! I can't do discord however-
I already voted, but medieval I'm most interested in!
I'm cool with either discord or an OOC, though a private message OOC would probably be best if people can't do discord.
Oooh, I don't usually do Pokemon, but like...
Fakemon in a semi-realistic setting is the most interesting thing I have ever seen.
Thank you for the interest! Currently there are four votes for normal Fakemon and six votes for medieval. Depending on what people vote for we could also make the medieval Fakemon.
Are we going to have sets of 6, 1, or a mix?
Sets of what exactly friend? The allowed number of Pokemon?
Yes, sorry xD
My brain is slowly dying
Oh, don't worry, I have a square brain :3
To answer your question I will be letting everyone decide a lot of things as a group, so depending on what people we choose the max will either be seven or six Pokemon. For the normal Fakemon Roleplay everyone will be starting with one Pokemon of their choosing. (Excluding Legendaries and Mythicals). Since the Roleplayers will be the champions of previous regions, this starting Pokemon would be the one they share their closest bond with and will usually be fully evolved. The reasoning I said six or seven is because I am going with the traditional standard of allowing six in a party, but if the starting Pokemon is not contained in a Poke Ball this opens up an extra slot for the new Fakemons. As for the medieval Roleplay the standard would also be six, but I am thinking everyone would be allowed to start with a max of three Pokemon if they choose to do so. (However, keep in mind that Poke Balls did not exist yet during this time, so you might want to take that into consideration when choosing your starters). I would also prefer if not everyone started with fully evolved Pokemon during the medieval Roleplay.
Ooooooh, nIce
I like the 7 idea a lot because of the fact that 7 probably isn't contained in a Pokeball so depending on the Pokemon, you could have this tiny bird on your shoulder or a massive F-you dragon gliding above the city waiting for its trainer.
I'm prolly gonna start with a second evolution pokemon just because, but that would require a shit-ton of concept art hnnnnnn
That's fine by me! There are no limits on what evolution your starting Pokemon has to be for the normal Fakemon Roleplay. I just expected most people to have fully evolved starters since they would be champions, and their current parties would have already been maxed out. (Unless you're going for an unevolved Pikachu thing as Ash did). I am not sure if I clarified this, but your starting Pokemon will be a previously established Pokemon from one of the previous generations. The party will not encounter any of the new Fakemon until they reach the new region.
