Fandom The Second Rebellion - Skyrim Interest Check

Hey guys, it worked! I typed this on my computer, synced it to my phone, then pasted it here! This means that as long as I still have data, I’ll be able to properly type my posts! Granted, it will take a bit longer and a bit more trouble, but I’m sure it’s much easier than picking at my phone’s keyboard. May I go ahead and hop in?

Sorry for not replying lately guys. Internet in the mountains is shitty so I'll try to jump in as soon as possible.

Plus the tablet I'm on makes it a bit hard.

How's everyone doing?

How should everyone meet. I was thinking that the Thalmor could escort Silian, therefore giving each character motivation to find each other.

Things are going fine, I think. Everyone is in different places, but at least they're in the same city... (x

Oi, yes... I feel your pain...

How should everyone meet. I was thinking that the Thalmor could escort Silian, therefore giving each character motivation to find each other.

Escort him into the city? That could work, especially if we're all still gathered up in the inn. Saor is there waiting for Dren, Kumi is in the Palace of Kings, and your character recently left, right? The inn is a good central meeting place, so that often works. I was thinking about one of y'all's characters overhearing Saor and Dren talking about Ulfric or maybe some Thalmor causing trouble and that showing who is willing to stand up to them and possibly join the resistance. If the Thalmor brought Silas into the city, that might could lead to said disturbance.

Thoughts, anyone?

I wish to join in on the Shinannigains!

Yes, we are still accepting. There's a little application on the Rules and Joining page (it's very short) and you would need to wait for your character to be accepted by me or Beta before posting, but I don't think that should be a problem. And, as always, issues or questions can be brought up here or in a PM.

My thoughts: My plan was to lay a rune under the mat on the bridge, and have Kumi go and collect the remains. But, Saorat comes and sees, and intimates Kumi.

Well, Saor isn't very intimidating, but she's still a bit protective over the city and might come give it a shot. (x

Oops, I meant initiates into the cause

Well, they're sorta undercover, so they're not going up to random strangers and saying "Hey, wanna join this rebellion being hunted by the government? It'll be fun!" (x

But if, say, someone shows that they're willing to fight the Thalmor however necessary, mentions the rebellion in a favorable way, or indicates some sort of sympathies, they may hunt at it and find somewhere safe to speak openly.

@AlbaGuBrath

Alright! Did both CS and the Application at about the same time.

They look good! Looks like these Thalmor have definitely ticked a lot of the Khajiit off... (x

About the Morrowwind spells. I'm not familiar with spellcasting in Morrowwind, but that seems to be reasonable. If you could list the spells you'd like her to use and describe them (casting difficulty, affects, strengths/weaknesses, etc.), that'd be great. Basically that's just so everyone is clear on what the spells' attributes are.

Feel free to hop in whenever you like. At the time of posting, Saorat in inside Candlehearth Hall, Veyon is just outside of it, Kumi is at the Palace of Kings, and Drenmare is just entering the city. I think I got all that right... (x

Oh, speaking of Veyon. @Dragonix975 When you mention that he dropped down near a slender hooded figure outside the Hall, did you mean for that to be Saor? That was my understanding, but I wanted to be sure before I made my post.

I'll probably make a post later this evening or sometime tonight.

was just gonna add the spells "Open" which is like.. A magical lock pick and " Slowfall" which.. Makes you fall slower so you don't take damage from falling.

Quick question to you all.

How many of you have played Oblivion?

Cause I never heard of it till Skyrim was released.

I've played Oblivion, but only the base game.

It's fun if you can ignore the potato-faces and even fewer voice actors than Skyrim. (We joke that they spent all their voice actor budget on Patrick Stewart.) (x

I've played everything since Daggerfall ( elder scrolls 2)

morrowind is worth a play. Just remember it's OLD oblivion is also amazing. I actually perfer oblivion over Skyrim.

I think if not for the difference in appearance and the fact that I just loved the Nords and culture of Skyrim, I think Oblivion would at least be on-par with Skyrim. I found it a bit easier to navigate, and it was much easier to read on my awful TV.

Since we now have five people ready to participate, do you guys want to set up some sort of posting order?

Another possibility might be that everyone waits for at least two people to post after them or for 24 hours to pass (whichever is sooner) before posting again. Do y'all think that would help keep things organized as things pick up, or would y'all prefer we left it as it is?
