  A village is perched in the middle of a stunning landscape long ago. The homes are small huts made from skins and pelts line the floors to sleep in. You wander through the seemingly deserted village until a shadow falls over you. “Welcome to the Winteredge kingdom. Come inside and have some food and water.” A soft voice calls to you as a young girl appears and helps you to your feet, leading you to the biggest hut of them all and sitting down beside two regal-looking people. “Will you stay with us? And help us along our journey? Or do you wish to keep traveling?” This is the long-lost kingdom of Winteredge. The kingdom was first said to have bonded with the wildlife of the mountains.

  Long long ago, around 20,00 years ago, villages were common through the plains and mountains that we all call home today. At this time, unknown to many around...there was a kingdom that was formed and brought peace to many around them. This village is by far the largest and most well-known. Their huts are made from animal skins and pelts are used to sleep on. This kingdom formed and with it rose a queen and king. The king was arranged to marry the queen and they both didn’t love each other right away until they did after time. After this time, the queen gave birth to three born (be it a prince or princess doesn’t matter). One princess left at a young age...deciding to go and try to survive on her own. Wolves tried to attack her...and she injured one but couldn’t bring herself to kill it. So she healed it and the fae wolf that was as black as night went with her and together they formed a pack and the legend of the girl that ran with wolves. She howls like them...moves like them, hunts like them. Her family all but almost forgot her...until the pack gets too close for comfort one day.
  
  As time went on, more dangers emerged. Sabretoothed cats became more common to see - and the tension between these incredible felines and the canines that roamed the wild grew day by day. Eventually, the time will come when war is unavoidable. Sabres and Wolves will clash and the kingdom itself will have to decide whether they need to work alongside the fierce canines or risk their kingdom falling.
  

  
  
  
  
  

  The rumors of the lost and wild princess grow as eerie howls sound through the night and blood runs crimson no matter the species. The winter is coming and the kingdom will either fall, or it will survive. The true test will be if the kingdom can work alongside the wolves or if they will try to survive on their own. Sabres are more common than anything else and the pack of wolves has dwindled to a small number - almost leaving it at 10 wolves total.

  1. Please don't fight within the rp, I and my admin (I will choose) will have a say in what is acceptable
  2. Work out your problems in PM please, don't make the rp players take sides
  3. Be active every two days at least and if you aren't active and don't let me know I will put the character up for adoption
  4. Don't flood, some people have school and other activities...be polite
  5. Post at least 3+ lines ...unless it's a cruddy day
  6. Have fun!!!

  1. King and queen have the say around the kingdom
  2. Defying the higher ranks can equal exile
  3. Hunters must have more than one member to hunt large prey like bison
  4. Winter is harsh, and sicknesses can occur
  5. Arranged marriages are often formulated but please PM me and the person you wish it with

  Queen: The head of the kingdom, second to the king
  King: The ruler of Winteredge entirely, he is married to the queen and they have 3 children
  Prince/Princess(s): The children of the king and queen, one of them lives with wolves and is said to be lost (where the legend is born and reason rp takes place)
  
  Advisors: There are four of advisors, they often help make decisions in the kingdom and are the most trusted by the king & queen.
  
  Healers: There are three healers, one head, and two apprentices/assistants. They are known to be the ones to treat sicknesses and injuries. They rarely will help battle and often prefer peace over anything else.
  
  Hunters/Warriors: These are often people who enjoy helping out the kingdom in the best way they can - they will often go out to hunt and will not back down from a fight.
  
  Merchants: These are those who have arts and crafts as abilities - they enjoy not fighting and much prefer either blacksmithing, farming, baking etc.
  
  Mothers & Children: Those with children who are not of age (usually this age is around 16 -17 years old) and will end up never participating in a fight unless it is to defend other mothers and the youngest generations.
  
  Rogues/Outsiders/Assassins: Those who do not believe in the ruling that is done by the king and queen - they most likely will be the first ones to bond with either wolves or sabers and pick a side first.
  
  

  
  
  
  
  

  Wolf Pack Ranks

  
  
  
  
  

  Alpha Female: The main alpha of the wolf pack, she is bonded to the lost princess and also fiercely protective of the girl
  Alpha Male: The mate and second ruler to the wolf pack, he is also protective of the princess and his mate
  
  Alpha's Adopted Daughter: The lost princess takes on this role, she is fiercely protective of the pack and much more wolf-like than human-like in her manners.
  
  Beta Female: Second-in-command of the wolf pack and often the one in charge of protecting the alphas
  Beta Male: Second-in-command of the pack and also the mate to the Beta Female.
  
  Pack Members: Regular wolves of the pack and often the ones to help hunt and listen to the alphas
  
  Elders: The eldest members of the pack, they are highly protected and will not take on fighting, their time is more to watching the pups while others hunt
  
  Rogues: Wolves without the pack, are often more loyal to themselves and they can bond to humans but it is rare.
  

  
  
  
  
  

  Sabretooth Cat Ranks & Lord:
  
  Sabretooth Cat Lord: The one who rules these magnificent felines - he is the main enemy to Winteredge and wants to take over
  Sabretooth Cat Lady: The lady that is married to the lord (and more by arranged marriage honestly), she is torn between loyalty to her husband and helping the wolves out.
  
  Sabretooth Cats: These felines have no real order, though there is one feline bonded to the lord and that is the leader of the whole group.
