Okay, so in a general sense they are all rare, but this is good seeing as the Light Affinity, if used properly, is a very effective tool. In any case, I would like to discuss possible options for the light affinity based creatures that could add to his strategy. A.K.A. Light affinity creatures that he could cast through.

As it turns out, he is gonna be a rare beast collector. lol
Wisps and spectres come to mind as an initial option. It's difficult as most creature variants of affinities affect the body of the creature rather than being casted externally. Light isn't very useful as a defence mechanism (compared to similarly non-solid elements such as fire or lightning), so naturally there aren't as many creatures attuned to it.

The reason I mention the rifts is they can often lead to realms or places where energy and magic don't work in quite the same way as the current world, so light can become a much more viable defence.

It's definitely an area I'll give some thought to! Potentially there might be some creatures who learned to use it as a way to distract or blind predators.

Technically speaking, that is a bonus. Since his magic allows him to cast through his tamed creatures, the spells through them are his. All he needs them to do is have the same affinity. If they can use their own light based magics, then that's a bonus. Though, I would like to find at least one heavy hitting creature to tame. One that could at least come close to matching his own level of magic affinity. I know its a lot to ask, but at some point, if you wouldn't mind throwing something like that in his path, it would be appreciated.

Sylph Sylph That brings a good point. What happens if a creature has negative fortitude? I know 0 fortitude equals 10 fortitude needed for taming, but what if it dips into the negative?

Wow. Thats......easy. Even the pixies have zero. Thats basically one look and your mine.
*Ahem* that's more so 500 fortitude in the Gae Bulg's favour, rather than an actual negative for Eiru. It means you'd need the equivalent of 500 fortitude in order to overcome the influence it has on her.

I.E: the reason you don't mess with sentient weapons. Though it could be something Elias looks at in future

Guys....Why am I the only guy using Light Affinity?
Azalea actually has a light affinity as well! Light + plant = little orbs of light she uses to grow flora.

I also class Ymir's second sight as a specialised type of light affinity, though she can't use any light attacks. We've had a couple of illusionists in the past as well, though none that are still active as far as I recall.

I'd say that still costs Elias 10 fortitude, since it's more to do with devoting part of his focus towards controlling them, rather than actively overpowering their will.

My my, what a player
Well, he is good at taking control.
Alright, break it up you two 😂

Copper ranks FTW. They go up tiers faster than higher ranked characters = more tier rewards. RatKing RatKing 's character Ruvo is the perfect example. He's like three times the level a normal copper would be at after doing a couple quests—granted he's had a few extra bonuses
Well, I may do that. Of course I could cheat a bit and send the new one on missions with Elias. lol
I will smite u
Do it. It's worth it.

Folks, sorry I was out these last two days, I got injured while hiking 😅

I'm better now and ill post Seth's tonight!

Dunno whether that's better or worse than injuring your ankle the day before a hike. Idk even remember how, since I was home at the time.

Either way I hope you have a speedy recovery!

I know but I just found it funny all things considered! Where was the tamer when we needed him most? Regardless *cries in 0 fortitude*

Alright, break it up you two 😂

Nah. I'm flirting right now. lol

Oh ho ho ho? Is that sooooooo.

As the quote goes. When the world needed him most, he vanished. Specifically for an indeterminate amount of time but no more than a year quest to quell rebel forces.

Oh ho ho ho? Is that sooooooo.
Yes. I plan to keep doing so. Wait! I have an idea. I'm gonna pm you momentarily.
