  The Grand Russo apartment situated in New York City may not be the fanciest apartment but what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in its cozy and welcoming environment. It's a place for all and consists of a tight-knit group of people. The lives of the people residing in the apartment are interconnected in one way or another. Whether it be by their jobs, friendships, or relationships. For some, this place is a haven from the outside world, for others, it's a cheap place to stay while they struggle to make ends meets. The Grand Russo is filled with people from different walks of life all coming together.
  
  This roleplay will follow the lives of the people living in the Grand Russo. Each character will have their own obstacles they will need to overcome. Obstacles could range from dealing with a cheating spouse, toxic friends, passing college, to dealing with a soul-crushing job. The obstacles each character faces will be unique to them. You'll be able to take your characters on many different adventures, these can include going on crazy late-night trips, partying on the weekend, or getting to know your neighbors. The choices your character makes do matter, for example, if your character decides to skip out on rent two times in a row they may be kicked out of the apartment by the landlord.

  Note these roles aren't first come first serve I'll be choosing the characters that I think are best suited for the role. If you don't like any of the roles below and have a different idea for a character you'd like to make pm so we can talk about it. If you have any questions at all pm me.

  This couple has been married for three years now. Their marriage hits a little bump in the road which causes the husband to seek company from the next-door neighbor. Things get particularly messy when said neighbor gets pregnant.

  They were high school sweethearts who got married too soon. It's been four years since they got married and things are significantly different. They spend most of their time arguing and their friends can't help but wonder why they are still together. Add in the fact that one of them just lost their job, it seems as if they can't catch a break.

  They've been unsure about having kids for years but eventually decide they're ready. After trying to adopt for six months they are able to take home a newborn baby. Things are going well when suddenly the baby's mother, a girl fresh out of high school decides she wants to be in the child's life and ends up moving next door.

  As a result of having irresponsible parents the eldest sibling who is fresh into adulthood is left to raise their younger siblings. It is no easy task especially when they keep getting into trouble, money's tight, and the landlord is breathing down their neck.

  Two teenagers are forced to move in with their uncle's/aunt's after a tragedy. It's a constant struggle as the aunt/uncle know virtually nothing about parenting and before this, they've never had any major responsibilities.

  Rich Party Girl:
  
  You were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, showered with love and affection from a young age. You've never had to struggle for anything which is why you live life without a care in the world. Your parents tired of your shenanigans cut you off forcing you to move in with your best friend. Will you be able to survive in the real world?
  
  Best Friend:
  
  You've had a crush on the party girl for as long as you can remember, however you've never had the courage to tell them. You think they'll never notice you until one night they appear outside of your door needing a place to stay. Maybe this is their time to become more than friends.
  
  Scholar:
  
  You've dedicated your entire life to academics but you feel your life passing you by. Deciding it's time for a change you finally begin to explore the world around you gaining new experiences.
  
  Athlete:
  
  Life was perfect for you, you were popular, the star of the football team, and it felt as if the world was your oyster. That was until you got into a car accident that changed your life forever. Your circle of friends starts dwindling, you feel as if the world around you is crumbling and you are left wondering what's next.
  
  The Perfectionist:
  
  From a young age, you were instilled by your parents that anything below perfection was unacceptable. The pressure put upon you is crushing, you feel as if you're downing and there is no way out. Desperate to escape you decide to move out of your parent's house and live on your own. You soon come to find out that being alone in the big city is not as easy as you once thought.

  Drug Addict:
  
  They've never truly dealt with their childhood trauma and instead of seeing a therapist, they decide to rely on a drug dealer. They've tried kicking the habit before maybe they'll succeed this time.
  
  Supportive Friend:
  
  You know your next-door neighbor has been struggling with his drug addiction for a long time and even though you've tried to ignore it you can't help but want to help them. Will you give up on your friend or stick beside them.
  
  Best Friends:
  
  Four young best friends decide to live with each other. They soon find out this may not have been the best decision when unresolved feelings from the past begin to resurface.
  
  Enemies:
  
  These two have been neighbors for years and they absolutely detest each other. Their interactions are filled with teasing, insults, and pranks. After the events of one night, things start changing between them. You know what they say there is a thin line between love and hate.
  
  New to Town:
  
  You are new to the city and were looking for a cheap place to stay. You weren't planning to stay that long but it's been five months since you moved in and you still can't seem to leave. Although you'll never admit you've grown to care for your crazy and outlandish neighbors making it that much harder to leave.
  
  The Runaway:
  
  You're running from your past, low on money you decide to stay at the Grand Russo. Although it has been months since you've been on the run you can slowly feel your past creeping up on you. You have a choice to make either face your past head-on or let it destroy you.

  1. Be respectful to everyone. I want this rp to be a fun space where we can all enjoy ourselves.
  
  2. No godmodding, you wouldn't like it if someone did it to you so don't do it to others.
  
  3. Be active, I understand that life gets busy and we all have plans but it would be greatly appreciated if you can post once or twice a week.
  
  4. If you are unable to post for a while please try to tell me beforehand.

Well, there could also be some options for roommate, but i think there's plenty of variety with the current roles.
