About Me:

My name is Serenity and I am a female from Canada. I have been role-playing now for more than a decade and I consider myself one of the best. I am active on multiple forums and I have won many awards over the years for my writing as well as my unique characters that diverge from traditional models. I am novella and I tend to write detailed and descriptive posts of about six to nine paragraphs per post. I write many times per week and in over two decades I have never once ghosted another player. It is for these reasons I would consider myself one in a million for partners.

I am open-minded and collaborative in the development of stories. I also value YOU my partner far more than any story or other element so I am happy to work around your muse and inspirations. I believe that a wonderful role-play requires collaboration and compromise above every other detail of the story. It has to be a story that inspires both partners or one always loses interest. I love to brainstorm outside of stories, and I have been known to be rather playful and considered a good friend by many. If this sounds like someone you would like than I encourage you to read on!

Now then my likes and dislikes are rather simple. I dislike science-fiction and gothic themes as well as any kind of sexual content (forbidden by site rules). I adore romance and slice-of-life elements, and I am open to many other genres such as Adventure, Action, Mystery, and Horror. I prefer modern or historical themes, and I am open to fantasy and non-fantasy elements in my stories. In my stories, the source of my inspiration comes from the character development, and the relationship between our characters. If you have my interest here than you have my interest everywhere!

About You:

I can be known to be finnicky with my partners and I am interested in the long-haul. I always see threads out there that say advanced or long-term and I wonder if people know what that means. I consider a long-term story to be one that lasts more than a year. So ensuring partners are compatible is essential and I find that comes across in the brainstorming process. For this reason I am looking for a partner who would be open-minded and collaborative in what they want to do in the story. I do not want a partner who only does what I want to do as that will not keep you engaged, I want to help bring your ideas to life as much as you wat to bring my ideas to life. Collaboration and Communication are the foundation of the partners that I consider most dear!

Interests of Thread:

I mentioned earlier that I have been praised for my characters and the more unique elements many bring to a story. I have recently been fascinated by one element in specific and that is the notion of age and gender, and the influence that details could have on a character and the story. I was inspired by a couple of anime franchise such as Ascension of Bookworm, Jobless Reincarnation, Detective Conan and more. I was hopeful to play as a character in this kind of situation and if you made it this far and are interested than you passed my Examination!

I will happily listen to any proposals you have for stories, and of course in the normal kind of tradition I will also post a couple of story-starters below from a number of genres to see if any spark your own inspiration! If you do not see any themes of interest feel free to propose your own world and setting. I am open-minded as long as I could play character style I enjoy!

  In this storyline, our characters would be have started as brother and sister, prince and princess of the nation. It has not always been easy for either of them, with the brother being the eldest and so many more expectations being placed on himself, and the younger sister being born female in a nation that looks down on them. It all comes to a boiling point one day the elder brother does something so atrocious that he causes his younger sister to burst into tears and run away. That night, when looking up at the night sky she observes a shooting star and makes a rather selfish wish that her brother understood what it was like to be the little sister, or that she simply could have had a sister instead of a mean elder brother.
  
  The next morning my character wakes up to find themselves now a younger female, and the decorations in the room changed. It soon becomes clear that reality has been altered and no one in the kingdom remembers there even was a prince. The whole kingdom only remembers there being two sisters, with your character now being the older sister, and my character the younger sister now instead. The story could begin with a lot of teasing and insults, until something happens that forces the two sisters to begin to work together. To become closer as sisters than they ever could have been as brother and sister, and overcome the challenges that now await them in as female heirs to a patriarchal nation and the crown.

  In this storyline, the main heroine could come from a variety of backgrounds whether common or more noble. My character would have been a former boy who has somehow been turned into a young female maid and is made to serve in a nobles' mansion. This could have been the result of some unpaid debt, some form of betrayal or punishment, or some other reason we could discuss together. Our beautiful young maid would then have to learn how to perform her duties, and adjust to the other changes that have come with the position. She could have to contend with a clumsier disposition, a cruel mistress, or a perverse master, and the laundry list of other responsibilities that could be expected of a maid serving in a nobles' estate now.
  
  I had kind of pictured the maid position as being one that she could not refuse, and one that leaves her no other option than to accept and do well. I pictured the leading lady as being in the teenager to young adult range so maybe fifteen to nineteen years old. I am open to many other details of the story such as the types of characters she is interacting alongside. If the story focuses more on the servants, or on the masters or mistresses, and how light-hearted or darker-natured my partner wanted the story. I have had this idea for quite some time, and simply have not found the ideal partner to pique my interest and propose something that could be interesting. I am content with male or female pairings due to the nature of character!

  In this storyline, our characters could be either humans or Pokemon, or a pairing combination of the two. I would be wishing to play as a young human boy who has been turned into the state they will occupy for the duration of our story. I had been leaning towards playing them as a Pokemon, and I am open to play them opposite of a female human or another Pokemon from either of the genders. Your character could also be altered if you prefer as well. I am open to a variety of themes from romance to survival to adventure or even horror and mystery.
  
  This story would be one of the most advanced on the list. If either of us would be playing Pokemon than I would adore if that could be played truest to the animal equivalents of those Pokemon. For example, the sense of smell for canine Pokemon, the playfulness of feline Pokemon, or other similar traits. This would also limit communication in traditional means and mean body language would be essential for humans, in case of double Pokemon than I suppose that would be less of an issue. I am open to the time period, and other details of story.

  In the world's first virtual reality role-playing game, the players have become trapped in a game where they are gambling their own lives. A lone player appears to have maintained an avatar that is distinct from their real-world appearance and persona. A younger girl who has now found herself locked in this survival inspired game of death. Can she find a way to gain an advantage with her new appearance or would this end up to be more of a disadvantage for the man playing the game in the real-world. Come find out as I see this story following more closely to the second Aria Progressive Movie and focused more on the adventures of a younger swordswoman and a friend, or perhaps someone that she encounters in the game.
  
  In this storyline, I would be searching for someone who is interested in playing her fellow adventurer. It could be another female, or a male who could play a love interest or rival. I am open to the ages of the characters, as well as the type of content we explore in the story. The characters could stay more in the safe areas, or could be more open world. My dream partner would be someone who could immerse into virtual world while adding interesting information about their characters' real-world throughout the story to add more character depth.

  In a similar vein to the previous story, this version is focused more on new beginnings. It would be a second chance at childhood. As my character somehow dies in one world and is reborn into another world in a similar or rather different form. I would picture the character in this story being the youngest of every one of these proposals simply to allow a fresh start. It could be the character even entered the world as a baby and during the prologue and introduction there is a time skip to a younger girl to summarize what happened to them since they had died.
  
  I pictured this new world being more historical in nature. It could be a world before the Printing Press and dawn of Literature or perhaps older than that. It would allow my character to use knowledge from the more futuristic world they came from to improve their circumstances in this new world. It would also allow a contrast not only with age but also other lines such as gender and more. As throughout history, the various cultures have had rather distinct expectations and stigmas around children and girls and a host of other combinations that could be explored.

  In this storyline, a young man learns more about the opposite sex than he could have ever hoped. It could have been the product of some kind of wager, or perhaps some kind of punishment. The result would be that my character is switched into the body of a person they once looked down upon and have to walk a mile in her shoes. I am hopeful to explore the slice-of-life elements that come with our characters in each others' bodies. I am open to the relationship of our characters. I am also open to the reasons behind the exchange of bodies.
  
  This story would feature the characters who are more mature, I would prefer if the content remained PG-13 inspired in nature. I am open to the kind of world and history this stored is featured within. I feel this story would be one of the most NPC friendly of the stories since I presume there would be many instances our characters are separated and they are surrounded by other people. I was inspired by Freaky Friday around this one, as well as many other anime that have explored the theme of body switches. It could be a permanent or temporary switch.

  In the modern day, crimes could appear in any shape or form and when you least expect. It is the responsibility of detectives to explore and unravel the mysteries until One Truth Prevails. Inspired by the beloved children's anime known as Detective Conan. Sebastian Sinclaire is a Famous High School detective from America who comes across a mysterious criminal organization and men dressed in black. He investigates it until one man strikes him from behind and he is fed an experimental drug intended to stop his heart and be untraceable by the authorities.
  
  Abandoned and presumed dead, the young detective instead undergoes a transformation that turns them into an elementary schooler and female. It is during this self-discovery that they are found by a female who shows concern for the younger girl and takes them home. This could be a stranger or a childhood friend. My character from then on has to hide the truth about who they are to protect those they love while solving one crime after another in the hopes that they will find a lead back to the criminal organization and a way to return to her former self.

  In a small town where tradition is the cornerstone of family life. There exists a young man who has aspirations beyond spending his whole life in the town. This young man dreams of being able to spread his wings and soar beyond a town. To become someone famous for their music admired around the world. The adults close to him constantly encouraging him to abandon a dream they consider unobtainable. And one day when the weight of the pressure has been mounting upon the shoulders of the younger boy, he notices a shooting star. It was then that he clasped his hands together in prayer and made a wish that would forever alter his life. To be the kind of person that everyone loved and admired for his music. No more than a wish upon a star as he heads to bed soon thereafter unaware that the wish he had made that night would forever alter his life as he awakens the next morning in another body and into another life.
  
  Now, a beautiful young lady, she has the opportunity to make her dreams into a reality as an idol. Blessed with an angelic voice and beauty, it is not long before her talents begin to get her recognized and she makes her debut on stage. From there would be the rapid shift into the public eye and spotlight. As she signs record deals, and has performances scheduled. All while leaning the ropes of being a young lady and a national celebrity and idol. The story would follow her rise to fame, and the hardships along the way in pursuing her dreams. To explore the lengths a person would be willing to venture to explore ones' dreams in a world that is set on restricting her potential. And her co-collaborator could be drawn from any number of other people such as a childhood friend, a sibling, a former partner, a manager, or some other stranger she meets along the way who could find out about her past, or be left in the dark.
  
  I am open to the age of the young lady and pictured her being somewhere between the ages of fifteen to nineteen years old, old enough to make some decisions for herself, but young enough to not douse her free spirit and her boundless optimism. I am also open to whether her co-collaborator is a male who she could learn to develop feelings for over time, or some other female who could show her the ropes of girlhood and things she would never have learned as a boy. I see this being more of a Slice of Life and Adventure themed story, with the opportunity to explore various forms of music as she tries to discover her voice and talents. The costumes and ensembles would also change over time, and I could see a combination of rehearsals alongside everyday life. What kinds of ideas would YOU have for this kind of a story, and what kind of a character would you want to play the most for our Leading Lady?

  Serenity Sinclaire was a younger girl of eleven-years-old who to everyone else appeared to be the perfect daughter. It would not have been an understatement to say she was strong in her duties and had lots of friends. Enrolled in a host of extra-curricular subjects such as Gymnastics, Ballet and Music Lessons after school every day and the summer. To many she was a girl who appeared to have everything figured out from a younger age. Her parents could not have been any more proud of their youngest child. The older brother however felt envious about how much attention she always received. How easy he claimed that girls' had life compared to that of boys. And the night before he was to leave for college he made the point of telling her as much! Only to find her explode back in return about how unfair her own life feels in comparison to her brother who never appears to understand what she is going through!
  
  To say how hard she had to work every day, and how much pressure she was constantly under. The argument ended with the two of them simultaneously saying that the two wished that they could be the other person. Unbeknownst to them that a Shooting Star had soared overhead the house as the words had been spoken. To set into play a series of motions that would forever alter the siblings' perspectives of each other. As the next morning, the nineteen-year-old brother awoke in the bedroom of his younger sister, and inside of her body. Now, she is expected to live as Mommy's Little Girl, and Daddy's Little Princess! While her former younger sister is allowed to enjoy the freedom that she always wanted in his former body, now away at college while the story focuses on the Little Sister. It could be a single character interacting with her or a cast of characters as my partner would feel inspired. I will play some side characters.
  
  In this story, I would like to start the story the morning that the older brother awakens in the body and life of his younger sister. To experience the change in how her parents now act toward herself, and the subtle changes in freedom and other details. I had pictured this occurring at the beginning of the weekend, or one week before school resumes, to allow her time to adjust to the new perspective. From there we could explore themes such as her First Day of School in Seventh Grade, Gymnastics, Ballet or Music Lessons. All with the purpose of showing the former older brother that maybe his younger sister had things harder than he had first believed. And allow her a second chance to maybe give her sisters' life a hand, or find herself swollowed up in the sea of feminine activities. In addition to a sea of other changes that are beginning to happen to her body, and maybe even in her family as well.
  
  This would be a story about Coming of Age, and Reflection on Family and Identity. It would also explore themes of Gender, Age, and Social Stigmas. I am open to the main character that you would like to play whether this is the Girls' Mother, Childhood Friend, or Maybe a Host of Characters that interact with her throughout her day-to-day activities in more of an Epic Tale as the former boy learns what it means to be an eleven-year-old girl, and the younger sibling in a family.

  In a world where magic is believed to have never existed, a husband as somehow found himself turned into the daughter of his former wife. I am open to the details of the storyline such as the time period and the reason behind the transformation of the former husband. It could have been the result of some kind of an accident or a wish that was answered in a way that neither of them expected. It could have been some kind of punishment or a conspiracy to have the former man out of the way. The end result would be the same and the former husband is now an elementary schooler (or toddler) and finds herself under the authority of their former spouse. The mind of the husband would remain the same, however she could soon discover that her physical abilities are now matched down to her younger self which could result in her needing a lot more help from her mother and from those around herself.
  
  The mother may not even believe the child is her former husband and could simply dismiss her claims as some kind of adorable make-believe story. Or, the mother could have believed the child and simply wishes to make the most of the situation. It could have been that the woman always wanted a daughter and this is now her opportunity to have one of her own. I picture a light-hearted slice-of-life storyline. The story could also have a darker undertone depending on the how and why my character was transformed into a child. The story could focus more on the relationship between mother and daughter or include a wide host of side character and activities. I am open to playing some other characters or simply allowing my partner to play the majority of the characters and world around my character in more of a Game Master kind of setting (albeit with lots of discussion around plot and collaboration). Whatever you enjoy most!
  
  We could explore the themes of childhood friendships, as well as the beautiful bond between a mother and a daughter. We could introduce childhood themed toys such as Tea Parties and Dolls, and a host of Stuffed Animals! The mother could enjoy sharing those moments with her former husband and seeing how interested the daughter is in those toys now. We could also enroll the child into activities such as Ballet, Gymnastics, and Music Lessons. The former husband could also be interested in more tomboyish activities and this could cause some strain on the mother and daughter relationship. If school is involved than maybe there are also play dates, and slumber parties, and summer camp. I look forward to brainstorming these ideas with my partner and seeing what would interest you the most!   In the world of Business, the Boardroom can be Survival of the Fittest. In this story, an up and coming Executive finds himself waking up one morning in a brightly colored bedroom, and in the body of an Elementary School Girl! The situation takes a darker turn when it is revealed that she has been turned into the daughter of one of her employees. The employee in question then sets in motion a series of lessons and activities intended to keep the former employer out of the way. From enrolling her into a well-known Boarding School that has a reputation for transforming delinquent young girls into the loveliest of young ladies. Can our former executive find a way to return to normal or would they be brainwashed into being a Dutiful Daughter?
  
  The direction of the story would be determined by my partner and I at several opportunities. I am also content to the relationship between the caregiver and child, from one that is based on more antagonist feelings to one based on hope and trust. I am also open to the type of school that my character is being set to. From a Live-In model to a more normal school. In either case, I anticipate the school instructors would be passionate in their duties to foster the Next Generation of Ladies. This could include more traditional feminine activities such as Ballet or Gymnastics and Dance, to more themes of discipline and punishment. The stakes would have never been higher for the former adult as they are exposed to the world of the feminine.
  
  Female friendships I also anticipate would be of critical importance to the stories. I could see the former adult forming friendships, or allies, and rivalries with the other students for one of many reasons. This could blossom and cause her to question her former choices in life when she was an adult. To question what is most important, and which of the two lives she prefers living as more and more time passes. As for the Age of the Daughter I am open to somewhere between Elementary School (5-Years to 11-Years) Years. I am also open to relationship of her to her mother, and the reason that led to the transformation itself. I am content to have had him be a shining leader people were envious of, or a total creep who made many enemies!
  
  Time Travel could also be a theme, if the former Executive has been sent back to the 1980s or 1990s when they were growing up the first time, except this time it is a Young Girl. Can she make better decisions this time around, or would she find her options are more restricted this time around due to being a Girl? And how would her decisions and actions alter the world that she had known from the smallest differences such as her interactions with her Former Employee, her Teachers, or the other Children at School?

  In a distant world of fantasy and magic, there stands the Patriarchal Kingdom of Lumeria. It is a vast nation surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests, and habited by a race of humanoids known as the Lyn. Blessed by the Goddess of Nature, the Lyn are humans who have been blessed by the spirits of the animal kingdom. The Royal Family of this kingdom are comprised of the Kitsunes, and the Wolves serve as the loyal noble families that support and have pledged allegiance to the Royal Family. A family that had been ruled by a Wise King and Beautiful Queen, as well as the two sons that were born two years apart and could not have been any more different. One a talented strategist and wise and kind Prince, the other a cruel and selfish man.
  
  The King has perished, and there has been civil unrest regarding which of his sons should inherit the throne. The youngest son being the favorite of many of the more influential nobles who considered him more talented than his elder brother. The loyalists insisting the throne should be given to the eldest of the brothers. When war looms on the horizon, the loyalists evoke an Ancient Ritual to transform the seventeen-year-old prince into a five-year-old given. Now, the young princess finds herself subject to the laws and customs of her land, and learns she is powerless to prevent her brother from ascending the throne. The loyalists intent to keep the young vixen out of the way as they seek to mold her into a young lady who could be controlled.
  
  The nobles who once supported the younger brother are being rounded up and placed into prison. Sentenced to death for treason against the ascended King. It is now up to the young child to find a way to thwart her brothers' schemes before all hope is lost. Can the young princess find her voice against her former brother before it is too late, or will she be destined to become a victim of his own schemes. To be raised as a young and beautiful princess, and to be one day married away to some foreign prince for his own political motivations. The clock is now ticking and the fate of so many now reside in her smaller hands, as our story unfolds watch as the fate of this beautiful kingdom is revealed...? Who will emerge victorious the younger or elder sibling?
  
  In this story I would be searching for a partner who is proficient at writing detailed and descriptive posts. I would prefer at least five or six paragraphs, and enjoy descriptive details. I am open to whether my partner wishes to play as a single character such as a handmaiden to my young princess, or many characters such as the King and his loyal supporters.
