Emil would hardly move a muscle while she spoke, listening intently to her spiel for any form of the answer he was looking for. And as expected, he didn't hear a shimmer of the answer that he expected from her. The only reaction similar to one of surprise was when one of the particle cannons came up to his face, and flicked at his nose. He simply attempted to wave it away, and centered his attention back to the captain while she finished what she had to say.

"You fire a shot in the dark in an attempt to guess my logic. You can read up on my history, my past, all you want. But here's the thing, honey. You don't know me, or my logic. If I only considered the options to be obeying or dying, I wouldn't have signed up to be a scout here on YOUR ship." He was honestly quite disappointed in her answer, expecting something of a much higher caliber, but instead saw his actions for its black-and-white.

He wasn't about to make a choice and satisfy the captain's pride; no, he had his own sense of the term that he had to maintain. But it seems he wasn't going to get the point across to her without having to say it outright. "You're only stacking your mistakes by giving me a choice. Let me leave, and what's to stop this pirate from nipping your arse in hyperspace. Kill me now, and what kind of example is that setting for your crew?" At this point, he had blatantly exposed himself as a pirate to anyone previously unaware to the fact.

Emil then did the unexpected, and continued to challenge the captain by raising his arms out and behind his head. "If you truly think I'm so much of a threat that violence is necessary captain, go ahead and fire. I thought you civilized folk were a lot smarter than my people, and here you prove to me that you're no different." He then brought a hand down to his belt, hitting a clasp that undid the hook keeping his energy blade strapped to his waist. The small blade fell to the floor, and he continued to look at her with a raised brow. At this point, he was basically surrendering himself to an enemy; since he wasn't going to be giving her the satisfaction of outright obeying her orders.

"Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm, captain." Emil then began to say through pursed lips. "If this is how you hold against something like this, I can't wait to see how you fare against the cresting of the waves." He was beginning to wonder whether or not she deserved the title of captain. Yes, she owned the ship. But she had done nothing to earn his respect. She had even failed to read his actions, and all he could blame it on was inexperience.

"So fire now, and let us see how much of this trust you have for your crew truly is. Or open those damn doors and let me do my duty, captain." Emil had been facing death all his life, but only by enemy fire. His old crew with the Cold Raven hardly ever showed signs of insubordination to ol' Captain Woods, but that's because he understood that respect for the captain was earned, never initially given. Something that his new Captain Royce didn't seem to understand just yet. Hopefully, he lived long enough to see her finally learn it. "Otherwise, that old bastard'll [Captain Woods] be laughing at me all the way to hell."

"What's to stop you? Come see me in space and you'll find out."
Roy grabbed her paperwork. "You want to do your duty? You will sit your ass down and get the safety brief first. Otherwise you'll leave, either this ship or this existence." Roy looked at him and shrugged. She was done with this pointless argument. Whether or not he respected her, she didn't care about. She had zero qualms about kicking him out if he wanted to be insubordinate. Whatever he was trying to prove, it really didn't matter on the sole fact that what he was going for would only work and mean something in a pirate environment. This was a professional environment though, where pretty much nothing from pirate culture had a place in. He was obviously a fish out of water. Maybe suffering from culture shock. This reminded her of a prisoner who was in prison for most their life then released. They knew NOTHING about the other side. "If you refuse, you'll be escorted out. Plain and simple, non-negotiable, just like the safety briefs I have to waste my time giving. I've taken on more than enough space pirates to say my work can speak for itself. I have nothing to prove to anyone but the government."

Robert knew better than to argue with an AI so he decided not to pursue any further. "Well if you insist on telling others what you used during cooking, i shall just sit back and watch the expressions they make when they learn about the ingredients. Also i can understand why you are using the manure pods. After you revealed that you used them in the cookies, i did a little background research on the pods. Not only do they improve the quality of food, they do have a secondary purpose" He paused as he poured water onto a glass and takes a few sips. "Apparently, although this is just primary research being done at the moment, they also aid in boosting the immune system. I am yet to confirm that so don't quote me please. The famous Chef Horatio Ramsey aided in your design? Well I'll be damned. Now why do surprise me with the chef's specialty dish for today? I am starving, those cookies were just an appetizer for me." He let out a warm smile as he talked to the AI hoping it will change the atmosphere around both of them.

At the corner of his eye, he spotted a hooded figure trying to cook some weird alien fish. Curious, he turned the chair around to get a better glimpse of what he was doing. From the way he handled the ingredients, he was not new to this kind of thing. His moves were absolutely gracious. MAISIE was obviously pissed off that someone had invaded her kitchen but he decided to intervene. "Sorry to butt in but MAISIE, for just this once let the man finish what he is doing. As a professional chef, you know that if he stops, he will have to throw away the ingredients and that is wastage, something a chef always tries to minimize?"

Robert heard the word medic. He scanned the room to see whether the Combat Medic was around and since she was not in the area, then he assumes he was the one being called. He looked around and saw a man, no scratch that, an Eldritch Human. He had encountered one when he was in hospital and she left a permanet impression on him. And a female who looked like a cop. The cops just make it obvious. He waved and approached the table. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am Robert Sloan and i am the Medic/Surgeon/The doctor of this ship." He extended a hand towards both of them.

- Emil Bautista -Emil would be surprised to have yet another machine fly across his face, however this time it didn't seem to be in the control of either the captain or Willow. It had begun to speak, and with the familiar voice of the T'au who had been commenting about him earlier. It began by projecting a section of the contract, as well as explaining the rules stated. And as much as Emil wanted to call him out for being a kiss-ass, the woords of the drown were right. Through gritted teeth, Emil shook his head towards the drone, and waved it away similarly to how he had also waved away one of the machines aimed to put a hole in his back. "Yeah, yeah. No need to tell me twice. I know when I've got the disadvantage, doesn't mean I'm not going to bite back. Anyway.." He finished his meager conversation with the drone, and turned his attention back towards Captain Roy.

"If you have to waste your time giving the briefs, then it shouldn't be a big deal if I'm not on board to hear them." Emil stated, reaching up to his earpiece, and unhooking it from his ear. He tossed the small device over to Willow, assuming that she not allow it to break and catch it instead. "Sync my device to the ship's broadcasts, and I'll hear everything you want to yell at me for. With the assumption I'm within range, of course."

This wasn't going to be a fight Emil was going to get his way with, and he would be lying if he said he was satisfied with the result. But now that he was sure of how far he could push his limits, extending those limits was something else that would have to develop over time. Her stubbornness rivaled his own, but she indeed did have the upper hand in their little conflict; in condition, but in his belief, not in principle. Her assumption that all pirates were the same was drastically flawed, and he believed her loyalty to higher government made her no different than any other government dog. Expecting a dramatic difference in freedom was what had driven him to join an exploration force instead of their military force, and he was wrong to assume so.

"We've already established that you may be a captain by title, but a sovereign by action." Emil stated, rather nonchalantly. "And I'm pretty sure I've got the point across that I am no follower, but one of your typical pirates, eh?" The sarcasm was thick within his tone, but if it was going to get him out of this mess then he would suck it up just the same. "Fine, I'll listen to your blasted safety brief yet another time, but I'll do it in my quarters where I can at least get some work done." He hadn't expected to come terms with her in any sort of way, but she didn't allow for much leeway to begin with.

Alpin
(Water)
"It would not be advisable to continue your bravado."
The voice of the Por'O suddenly spoke up, but instead of the blindfolded ailen, it was his drone assisstant.
Apparently, Alpin was faster then the captain had initially thought, practically vanishing as the doors came down.
The T'au might have seemed old, but looks could deceiving.
Not that anyone would know, but Alpin was a legend in his old civilization for more then just his diplomatic skills...
The drone, on hte other hand, did not have as quick of a reaction as Alpin, trapped with the captain, the scout, and the android.
TauEmpireDrones02.jpg
Said drone was now hovering over the scout, it's glowing eyes were shining directly into the scout's eyes. As it was hovering, it transmitted words from the blindfolded T'au on the other side of the blast door.
"I advise you to reassess your position; you have nothing to gain from putting on this act, and everything to lose. The best case scenario here is that you are indeed escorted off this ship..." The drone shifted it's position onto the other side of the scout. "...worst case scenario your brain matter may be splattered all over that console."
The drone floated backwards a bit, though kept it's eyes shining on the scout.

"May I also remind you of the contract that we all had accepted prior to our acceptance as part of this expedition. I believe it was section 23, Article D...." An outline of the specific article was suddenly projected in front of the scout, showing the specifics of the contract, which stated that upons signing this contract, the crew would have to obey the commander of the vessel. Insubordination was punishable at the captain's discretion. "....that states that, upon agreeing to this contract, you agree to obey the commanding officer of this vessel, being part of it's crew, or else face repercussions."
The image of the documents suddenly vanished, the blue light replacing it.

"Furthermore, you should also know this better then I: These safety briefings are absolutely mandatory under the galactic laws for any and all vessels, for both passengers and crew. And,seeing that you are the one being uncooperative, the fault would lie in upon you in a court of law."
Even though the blindfolded T'au hadn't been in the system "for long", he did his homework.
"Currently, you are in no defensible or justifiable position by currently disobeying the captain, no matter which angle you look at it, as first you will be in violation of the contract you signed, as well as in violation of galactic safety laws."

"To put it in terms you may understand: Your just digging yourself a deeper grave."
Something to note was that after the word "understand" Por'O's calm tone had shifted into a more serious tone. Though it reverted back to it's calmer tone in the next sentence
"Listen to reason, you are in no position to be gambling with your life like this, as the captain holds all the chips in her hand. You have nothing to gain, all to lose. Choose your next words wisely..."

She normally had better things to say as a conversation starter, but her head began hurting badly. Ugh, must be the side effects of the pills. It strikes her at the worst of times possible. Why did she have to be so dependant on them anyway..?..Well, she knew perfectly why, and the story behind it was complicated.
Then it occurred to her. She was being awfully quiet and refusing eye contact to the man.
Did she come of as nervous or shy? Haha... Or simply reserved? Alright, the latter part fitted her description just flawlessly but some people in her past had even wrongly accused her of being arrogant as hell for not participating in their idle chit-chatting. Okay, maybe she wasn't that friendly a person back then either.
She couldn't help it, she thought.
The circumstances at that time wouldn't allow her.

Ennis listened to Icarus' talking with a single ear while also absorbed in her own thoughts simultaneously.
He went ahead and took a spoonful of his soup, and that made her choose to become fully aware and to observe his reaction to the soup.
And, he reacted by began coughing and spat it out immediately.

Nope! I'm having none any of that. She pushed her own bowl a little further away, indicating she was done eating.
Yet he still ate his. Just, why..?

Another crew member joined their table.
Oh, wait more company.. Okay, here we go again.

"Pleasure to meet you all. I am Robert Sloan and i am the Medic/Surgeon/The doctor of this ship." A different friendly hand extended towards her, and so she shook it.

"Likewise, my name's Ennis." She mustered a small smile and looked away.

Kicks
A support beam to stop the legs from collapsing in on themselves and an few extensions to the motherboard in the head and torso and the robot's body was ready. Kicks ran over to his desk and took out a flash drive from one of the drawers, before bolting back over to the now-finished robot, inserting the tiny electronic stick into the only USB drive on the robot. The success of the operation was confirmed with a "bleep" and it's creator took the time to jump on the bed and lay there.
"KicksRobo-OS activated, please select a worker mode." The bot said in his text-to-speech sounding robotic voice. Kicks reacted by jumping up and shouting: "Activate creator mode! Passcode "miss me with that nerd shizzle"," then while the construct made a confirmatory beep, Kicks took out another flash drive and replaced the one in the back of the robots head. "Set unit designation to "GrooveBot", set unit class to "Class A Cool Dude"," Kicks said, searching through his handheld smart tablet, while the contents of the new flash drive connected with the computer running the robotic body.
After the next flash drive had connected and was confirmed with another beep, Kicks followed up with: "Set unit voice to F-colon-slash-voices-slash-radvoice-dot-V-P-F," and after a moment of silence, Kicks added: "Unit, who are you?"
The robot was silent for half a second, before identifying itself: "I'm GrooveBot, a Class A Cool Dude." Kicks clapped his hands and chuckled: "This is the second best joke I've ever made," he said to himself "Kay, GrooveBot, download all files from folder F-colon-slash-sickmoves. While you are doing that, lets go get some grub," and the pair walked out of Kicks room, heading to the cafeteria.

Spending most of his time focusing on degutting and seasoning the fish properly, once the small A.I MAISIE had decided to return into the room and hover over the hooded male's shoulder just to question what he had been cooking, he simply allowed her to scan whatever he had been making for her to figure it out herself. Once the small bot had began to lose it's temper from how it spoke, Yukito showed no signs of being upset but only let a small smile spread over his lips. So, even though the chef of this kitchen might've been a bot, it did show the determination and the attitude about wanting to keep their own kitchen to themselves and have no others touch it. Right after bringing this up, the sound of a male voice coming up from behind in the cafeteria had been the only reason for the hooded male to turn his head over his shoulder to notice as to how one of the crew members was somewhat assisting Yukito in allowing him to cook as well as such statements of wasting ingredients for stopping mid-prepping. Bringing up the fact that she would head over to charge herself and warning him not to 'mess anything up' the only response Yukito would give her would simply be a nod of his head while he continued back to his prepping. By the time the small A.I had decided to head over towards the charging station, Yukito had just finished up the seasoning before he had brought the small fish over towards the heated pan by now and slowly allowed it to slide into the oil.

With the sounds of the oil crackling loudly throughout the kitchen, the male only stood there to watch how it cooked on one side for a few minutes before turning it to the opposite side with a pair of wooden chopsticks. For those who knew how to cook this particular fish, it should've been known that unlike many other marine species; this one required little time to cook due to how it's flavor resided mainly in it's meat that was slightly underneath the skin which was very thin.
By the time the fish had been completed and Yukito made sure to place it onto a semi large plate, rather then immediately dig into his meal, he went around to clean up the kitchen from his time there before returning to the fish and cutting it in two. Taking the head part of the fish, he left the tail end which had much more of it's meat for if MAISIE or if anyone else who entered the kitchen would like to check upon his cooking; that and honestly Yukito didn't need to eat too much.

Taking the small head into an even smaller plate as he took bites out of the slightly crunchy fried fish head, he immediately decided it was well about time to take his leave from the kitchen before he angered MAISIE any further. Traversing down the hall while he ate his small meal, the sight of what appeared to had been the sign to a sauna seemed to catch his attention curiously. "Huh..? Strange, if this ship was made by humans...it indeed shows it." Questioning the design of the ship, about how it had a sauna; rather than continue on his way to his room, he decided to take the detour and head straight for the supposed sauna. It was quite the little of a walk to get there but yet by the time he had indeed reached it, he came to find that the sign did not lie after-all. Placing down his plate that he had finished right outside the metallic door; Yukito had stepped right inside just to find multiple spots where one could place their clothing as well as clean towels for to wrap around one's private regions before stepping into yet another room which was even larger than the first. Just standing there in the first room, the hooded male could indeed feel the heat of the next room though strangely enough, it was a heat that was quite comforting.

"Hm, i guess this will be sufficient enough for some time to check on my systems." With that, he began to undress himself just to fold his clothing to place into one of the small cubes before grabbing a hold of a white towel and wrapping it around his own hips. Even with the moisture in the room he stood or even the next room he would step into, it wasn't enough to damage his internal parts so he knew well enough that checking on anything would not do any harm. With that, Yukito went off to head into the next room just to notice as to how the steam within the room was rather overly thick and most of it was emitting from a large pile of heated rocks in the middle of the room that even had a large bucket of water beside it to help it release even further steam. Ignoring that sight, the male only progressed his way over towards one of the nearby seats just to open up a panel that was apparently apart of his right arm. Once opened, it revealed plenty of buttons, lights and circuits all around as the male began to inspect each of his systems to make sure they were green and still fully functional.

Royce-Ann Gabrielle Bivens and Willow
Control Room

"Oh yea, I'm the asshole because I won't let you skip a briefing required under Federal Law, not the guy delaying our takeoff and wasting everyone's time because he feels he's too good to follow it." Roy said just as sarcastically. "If androids and robots had to listen to how this WON'T affect them, you'll get over it." Or not. She really didn't care either way. Rules were rules and she wasn't about to bend or break them for an insubordinate.

Willow caught the device and immediately tossed it over to Roy, who tossed it back, neither giving the momentum time to even settle in their hands before tossing it like a hot potato. "Yea, I think not. You will be right here in this control room looking at the visuals that go with it, just like everyone else had to go through. This crap is a formality, but it's a requirement." Roy was incredibly annoyed. She didn't have many rules, so the few they DID have were to be followed. Like him, she joined the Exploration Force so she could have a lot more freedom.........and she got just that, but within parameters. If he thought having to listen to a safety brief before flying was restrictive, then doing any sort of Government work was not his thing. He really shouldn't be here, as he was spoiled by whatever freedoms the pirate life afforded him. "If you have any issues with these rules, you can take them up with the Federal Aviation Administration." He was gonna sit in this room and listen to this brief. Unless he was leaving this mission, he wasn't gonna leave until it was done, so he may as well bite the bullet. "While you're working with me, you WILL follow Federal Law. You got a problem with one of my personal rules, you can approach like an adult and we can talk in private."

Willow ended the lockdown, which opened the doors. Roy looked at the alien. "Thank you for your assistance Alpin. This type of insubordination usually would result in immediate dismissal or brig time, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt first. This was a warning and next will result in Leadership Training." That hour long unskippable video with the 100 question quiz, where you started from 0% if you fail..........all done in the brig. "We're about to take off. We're 15 minutes late, which comes out of my paycheck. Could you go tell everyone to strap in? When we hit the exosphere, then we can move about freely and get to work." Hangar time was paid for by the government since they were appointed to this mission. Any overstepping of that time limit without extenuating circumstances would fall on the captain's wallet. This 15 minute overstep ran her at $150. Nothing compared to the amount of money they made doing this job, but too much to have been blown on an unnecessary confrontation.

Reaching the exosphere would take about 3 minutes. Reaching the moon would take 12, so unless he still planned on resisting, he'd be done by the time they got in range of Lunar Orbit

"There's a broad difference between a sovereign and an asshole, sweetheart. You would take heed to learning it." Emil would say with a false smile, while also pulling open a seat near Willow. He had assumed she was going to have him stay, despite his request to listen to the briefing in his own quarters. He let out a defeated sigh, and rested an elbow on an empty space beside the main control panel. The earpiece that had been tossed around between Willow and him was then reinserted into his ear, and with slight adjustment, he managed to get it into the comfortable position it had been prior to its removal.

"It's always the same thing with you government dogs. Rules, rules, and even more rules." But even he would admit that running things on the spot wasn't necessarily the best idea.. although it did make things a lot more fun. It also seemed to be that even though he backed away from the captain and her style of running a ship, his commentary didn't seem to be any short of stopping. "Just pay it off with the earnings from my recent transactions, why don't you? (g) might not have any worth to your government, but about all other markets accept it as currency. It's not like I make these contributions, only for it to lie around in some bank."

Emil would hardly give the captain to retaliate, if she chose to do so. Instead, he spun in the swivel of his seat until he managed to stop himself in the direction of Willow. "Alright, girlio. Looks like I have the absolute privilege of listening to the safety brief from your mouth. Lay it on me." Sarcasm still heavy on his tongue, he immediately began to slump in his seat, and was already bored of the situation that he managed to dig himself into.

A quick glance around the room, and Emil would catch sight of Alpin, yet again. Even though the T'au had opposed him during his little feud with the captain, Emil at least acknowledged the other for trying to talk him out of the situation. He respected that far more than having a gun trained at him, and assumed the T'au to be one of the more level-headed of the crew, unlike himself.

I shook Robert's hand after Ennis, she seemed a little shy. After my bowl of soup was done, I laid back in the seat. The cafeteria held some semblance of care and I couldn't ask for more really. Robert seemed competent, good. I'll need that for sure... Hyevane seemed to dash out of the kitchen into the hallway. Quite quickly. Who knows what he's doing. I return to Robert.

"The name's Icarus." I opened a pocket in my suit, handing Robert a flash drive with cleared medical data from my previous employment. The data itself should be enough. But major parts were missing, mostly what the fuck has happened to me and most of my medical history. At least it had a federal seal on it, to make it less suspicious. Not that it was, just I expect it to. The shadows of the room seemed to float and dance around me. I reached out to them, holding them for just a moment before my energies took their shape. The figments began to materialize, caressing my care to leave them just right. A dragon of large wing and mechanical features, alien and petrifying, appeared first. Then one of Slenderman, and the last of some weird robotic shape. They all must be Servyus, prominent Servyus. "I returned to Robert briefly, this is my medical records that can be declassified. I am not at liberty to say more than what's on that drive. If I tell you to do random shit to me for no reason, trust me, its from the docs that handled me in the classifieds." I returned to the sculptures that laid on the cafeteria floor. The look of them, filling with terror and intricate. Hyevane returned into the room. He stared at the sculptures before looking at me.

He winked at me, I looked to Ennis and Robert to see how they were taking at my sudden realizations. I could feel music in my head. Room began spinning, not again... I tried to level my head quickly and reach into my armor for the Verindium. Something that seemed to keep it back. I fumbled at the pockets as motor functions declined. I could barely breath, the needle in my hand fell to the floor. I couldn't feel my hands, then my legs, then in an instant. My eyes closed directly looking across the floor. I've must have fell. Then like that, I passed out.

Hyevane sprinted quickly to his room. His tentacles reached for the farthest room, the isolated room of the USS Destiny. He unloaded the crate to reveal a drone of alien design, spikey and floating. Its body melded into the dimensions of the room, swiftly collapsing the room into darkness. Sensor readings for Willow would go dark before the entire room disappeared from control. Willow could sense some sort of reprogramming device. The room itself if seen from Hyevane's eyes was remodeled to fit the room of a Servyus. Dark, functional, yet horrifyingly beautiful. The original funiture was replaced with a central uplink orb that Hyevane stepped into to test. His tentacles quickly adjusted the various objects into the room, including some form of holographic communicator on the side. Willow would feel some sort of signal coming from it. But she wouldn't know what it was, and she could not identify it with any known signal. The walls of the room bared holographic glass that mimicked some cityscape foreign to all known species. If Willow would investigate Hyevane more, she wouldn't be able to identify him with any known species. If the ship had good sensors, she would sense two identical signatures, one from Hyevane and one from Icarus. Files that brought up investigation of the signal would be somewhat helpful, but could not answer some basic questions such as what it was or how it was made.

Eventually, however, the room would respond again. Data seemed normal, but the whole digital scene begged the question. Where the hell did Hyevane come from?

Hyevane traversed the hallway quickly, checking on Icarus quickly before he passed out. He slithered up to the control room, opening the door and bowed on entry. "Greetings Captain, when will launch procedures begin?" He looked up at the turret before gazing at Willow. He bumped passed Emil, ignoring the turret. "And you must be the ship's sentient metal? So this is how these ships are piloted. Eitherway, I am Hyevane Ichijna, good to meet you Captain Roy." His voice smooth, chilled, yet dark. His eyes pure azure gazing only on Emil.

Cho rolled over lazily in her bed. Her alarm blared noisily in the background, just another sensory input that she was determined to ignore. As she rolled, she opened her eyes briefly, catching a glimpse of her alarm monitor. The date was marked... today. Wasn't something important supposed to happen today? She closed her eyes, the thought already almost forgotten...

Wait a second. Something important was supposed to happen today. And that something was her opportunity to get off of Earth!

"Aw, titties!" Cho shouted, bolting upright. She scrambled out of bed, incensed that what was supposed to be a quick nap had turned into a full-on sleep. And that full-on sleep had made her oversleep her alarm, and now she was going to be late! Late for the departure of the SS Destiny! Hastily, she sloppily stuffed a few outfits into a suitcase, which seemed incredibly resistant to closing, slung her shotguns over her shoulder, and dashed out the door of her apartment complex. Down the stairs, and onto the street.

A hoverbike rack stood a short distance away. Cho bolted towards it and hopped on an untethered green one. "Hey!" the bike's owner shouted. "That's my bike!"

In response, Cho tossed a handful of monetary credits at the owner. "Sorry!" she called as she sped off on the bike, leaving its owner in the dust.

Through the streets she swerved, left and right, narrowly avoiding pedestrians, vehicles, lightposts, and the like. She kept a frantic eye out for the hangar where the SS Destiny was supposed to be. She prayed that she wouldn't be left behind; she had been anticipating this opportunity for a while now.

The hoverbike sputtered to a stop under her, smoke pouring from the engine compartment. She had driven it into the ground. She got off the bike and continued her mad dash on foot, suitcase and shotguns trailing behind her. She drew the gaze of quite a few passersby, for she was an odd sight, running through the streets in a skimpy outfit, dragging a suitcase and a pair of shotguns.

At last, at long last, Cho reached the hangar. As luck would have it, the SS Destiny had not taken off, but it seemed that takeoff preparations were underway. She stumbled as she approached, calling out, "Hey! Hey! Is it too late for me to board?"

Out of the blue, she noticed how Icarus seemed to be fiddling into his pockets rather frantically, trying to fish for something. He looked like awfully unstable in his movements which honestly got her worried. Just, as...if...
Eventually he just fell.
Wait a sec. He would faint!
Of course, dammit! She recognized those signs for God's's sake!

Ennis wasn't exactly seated as the clostest to Icarus, but her reflexes sure as hell had no problem making up for it. As if her legs automatically began moving on its own, Ennis sprinted, almost hopped to the man's aid and barely managed to reach out for him in time to prevent his head from hitting the ground.
No need for more injuries to the poor guy, cripes!

With her own pulse beating at a higher rate than before, Ennis laid him flat on the back, checked his pulse, attempting to loosen anything about his armor that would sit too tightly on him and prevent him from breathing- As if she knew how his damned armor worked anyway.
She tried elevating his legs to allow for better blood flow.

A little further away from Icarus' hand was a syringe. Hmm?
Grabbing it for inspection, she looked at Robert and spoke,
"Alright, doctor, I'm gonna need for you to take over here. I took care of the basics. His pulse has become a little faint and he doesn't respond when I shake him or call out to him. The guy's pretty unconscious.
-So what do we do? If the situation deems it necessary, I can certainly carry him to the infirmary for you." Direct and straightforward as could be. Ennis didn't waste any time and offered help however she could. For all she knew, this could be real serious.
"By the by, I also happened to discover this syringe lying on the floor close to him." She handed it over for the medic to see.

Royce-Ann Gabrielle Bivens and Willow

Roy ignored him. She knew she'd be doing a hell of a lot of that on this trip. Unless he had something to report, he may as well not speak.

"Mother, someone's outside." Roy went over to the window to see Cho. "Damnit!" she said in frustration. "Why can't people show the hell up on time?!" She came in over the intercom. Due to this and Emil's insubordination, Roy was not in as good a mood as usual. Cho was another pain in the ass. She wasn't the insubordination type though, which is why Roy put up with this stuff like her tardiness and constant inappropriate wear. "Get the hell on the ship, Cho! You better jump because I ain't stopping it! You're 17 minutes late and I told you to not show up in pornstar cosplay!" The loading ramp was closing slowly but surely. It was because of Emil's insubordination that Cho even had the opportunity to get on. They were supposed to be long gone. That was another $50 out of her pocket because they weren't launching before the 20 minute mark

She ran through torture methods in her head. Maybe she should have Willow go through the brief at 1/16 normal speed, or have them complete a 25 page essay on the importance of punctuality while being unpaid for every second they weren't turned in. "We're gonna die in space," she groaned.

Robert shook both of their hands and proceeded to have a conversation with the both of them. However, something was lingering in his mind. How did that fish taste. He pondered and had a deep thought about it and decided to give in to the curiosity. "Excuse me for a minute, i need to taste something." He stood up and took a clean plate and placed a piece of the fish on it and went to sit down again.

Barely before he started eating when Icarus handed him a flash drive containing all his medical records, or some of it as he said. He took the thumb drive and placed it in his pocket. "Okay. I shall do whatever you ask as long as you give me your whole medical history and experiences. The more i know the better i can be able to treat you efficiently. You know I was actually going to tell the captain about having all medical records of all personnel on this ship at the med bay so that i can have a very easy time to treat each and every member with specialized care so this is a very good start." he turned to Ennis " When you have the time, please stop by the med bay so that i can do a full examination on you, like taking different scans and blood work for future reference and storage. Besides we have to find blood for everyone in case something goes down." He smiled and stood up and placed the plate on the counter.

When he was making his way back to the table, Icarus suddenly fell on the floor and laid still. He rushed down and Ennis had managed to lay him in a comfortable position. Impressive. He looked at his pulse, measured his respiratory rate and heart rate and checked his pupils. The stats were dangerously low and he needed to go to med bay. He was about to suggest transporting him there when Ennis handed him a syringe. He looked at the labeling and it was a drug he was unfamiliar off. Perhaps it was those trial drugs that just passed inspection last week. Wasting no time, he injected the drug into him using his human hand since the other was cybernetic. "I have no idea what this drug is but since he said we trust him, that is what we have to do. C'mon, help me place in on the table and monitor his conditions. Med bay is far from here so there is no time. We will have to go old school. Thankfully I always carry my stethoscope everywhere I go cause of emergencies."

Throughout most of the time Yukito had been tinkering with one part after another of his limbs to make sure that everything was still in working order while he also enjoyed the steam of the sauna room. Although he may not had realized it during the time he was in the bar till he even came to the hanger and even within the ship, there were a few systems that were in danger of shutting down due to some minor problems that were simple fixes by moving some wiring or inputting some new coding to override the shutdown. By the time most of all his components were completely functional without any further problems, the male made sure to test out his movements by clenching his fists and moving each finger separately as well as checking his own slight movements of his legs and feet.
Once confirming everything was in place and finally fixed to their proper specs, it was right about time for Yukito to take his leave from the sauna. Helping himself up from his seat, he progressed his way to the previous room where he had thrown the used towel into the nearby hamper and redressed himself back into his original attire. "I have to admit, that was quite relaxing." With that simple comment to himself, he went on his way to leave the sauna room all together and had planned to head straight for his room with his used plate which held the bones from the remains of the fish he had eaten not too long ago.

On his way to his quarters, it had just so happen that Yukito required to pass by the corridor that lead to the loading ramp that he had overheard what had appeared to had been another feminie voice. This one in particular asking if it was too late to come aboard, believing it was just some random stranger that was just trying to catch a ride; Yukito had just ignored the voice for a few moments before the sounds of the intercom rang out in the hanger loudly to catch the male's attention once more. Wait, that person was another crew member and they were about to take off? Rushing his way from where he stood right after hearing the intercom ring throughout the hanger, Yukito had quickly dropped his plate that of course caused it to shatter onto the metal flooring of the corridor as he rushed his way towards the loading ramp.

Upon reaching the ramp and the sight of how it was closing at a rather alarming rate. The sight of how the white smoke from the hydrolics were showing no intent on stopping, the dark haired male rapidly rushed his way to the edge of the ramp just to place his right foot onto the edge of the ramp and placing his right palm upwards against the top edge of where the ramp and the ship would make contact to keep it from fully closing. Luckily, even if the hydrolics to the ship's ramp were going to be much stronger than a Xeropt's own abnormal strength; at the very least, he could slow it's closing state a bit, any damages he would just take care of later on.
Throughout the entire time he held the ramp from fully shutting, his piercing emerald and ruby gaze had locked onto the woman in the hanger shouting to ask to come aboard as Yukito clearly showed plenty of struggled rage just to keep the ramp open. "Oi! Cho was it?! What're you waiting for?! Get on board!" Yukito wasn't one for normally shouting, but with him already easily feeling his gears and metal in both his arm and leg crunching, this wasn't about to be something he was just going to let slide.

"Place him on the table you say? Got it."

Ennis stood up and started removed everything from the oblong table, clearing enough space for Icarus to able to lie down upon.
"Here we go." She crouched down near the unconscious man, one arm supporting his back and the other underneath his legs. "And, 1..2...3!" And up, she lifted him- but the armor was apparently extra heavy on her, though nothing she couldn't handle, then placing him as gently as possible on the shining table top. Proceeding to stretch her fingers and straightening her back afterward.
Heh, wasn't so hard..

"And that's now taken care of. You go ahead and do what you gotta do."

The encouragement spurred Cho onward. She recovered from her stumble and put on one more burst of speed, hurtling toward the slowly-closing boarding ramp. With a leap, she flew through the gap, just barely slipping through, and tumbled into the ship. Her shotguns clattered to the floor, and the clasps of her suitcase came undone, spilling some of her clothes.

Cho rubbed her head where it hit the floor, before looking up at the person who had goaded her onward. She smiled winningly. "Thanks for the encouragement," she said only somewhat sarcastically.

"What up kids!" Kicks hyped as he entered the cafeteria, before noticing the unconscious Eldritch "Oh damn, what happened to him, Doc Bob?" Kicks pointed towards GrooveBot over his shoulder "Tha' bot's gotta' taser-slash-defibrillator built into him, if you want his help," The engineer noted turned towards his new construct "Oi, GrooveBot, help out my buddy Doc Bob, will ya?" And the robots obedience was noted with a jolly sounding beep.
Having done his part to save a person from sleeping over the daily requirements for a healthy body, Kicks made his way over to the closest nearby table which didn't have an unconscious person dying on it and shouted: "Maisie, you magnificent robot! Bring me some of that delicious manure-free food!"

After placing him on the table, Robert kept checking on his vitals every 5 minutes for signs of improvement. He looked around and managed to get a piece of paper and a pen. He decided to make a chart of all the vital signs like respiratory rate, pulses, breathing rate and pupil dilation. The chart shows signs of improvement but only just. "Now we wait. i have made a small chart of his vital signs and as you can see they are increasing at a slow but steady rate. Whatever was in that syringe is helping but not enough. We have to transport him to med bay where the scanners and keep a close and detailed eye on him. He looks and feels like he weighs a ton so if it's possible, and i hate telling you this but can you rush to the med bay and come with a patient trolley? I still have to keep an eye for some signs of improvement. Also there should be another medic in the med bay. Tell her to prep a bed, we have a patient incoming."

Just then, Kicks entered the room with a droid or something. "Thanks for the help but we have administered some medication into him and shocking him can lead to a premature heart attack and possibly death. However, GrooveBot can come in handy one day, just not in this circumstances." He looked at Icarus, eyes filled with worry and concern. He needed to get to his computer and read what was on those files. He needed to know what is happening to Icarus. And the sooner, the better for long term treatment.

MAISIE had been busy finishing the end of the movie, and if of course she could cry, she'd be sobbing by now. The Iron Giant always knew how to tug at her sensors. As robots initially built for military purposes, MAISIE could relate to the Giant. She just wished she could forget without having to update every now and then.

When she woke, she heard Kicks as for some "manure-free grub". MAISIE laughed at the statement. "Sorry, but as your nutritionist, this will be our ingredients for the next few cycles!"

With that said, MAISIE began to gather supplies from the pantry to cook. She wondered where Yukito had gone, but she did see what remains of his cooking. Upon scanning, she detected that it wouldn't have tasted...half bad.

Great...but I guess I can use an extra hand at the kitchen.

Dark caverns, alien world. Definitely not on the ship, well I am, but now not mentally. Outside, Earthly yet dark. I could see light outside, but on the other side I could, but a light of different kind. A feeling dread overcame me. Continuous pain extruded from the darkness, but I felt fine. Calls and sounds of gas leaking from the roof of the cave deafened me as I ran to the forest. Metallic footsteps approached behind me, I turned, seeing the image of darkness staring into my eyes. Cloaked and flaming in dark fires, I faced it letting my hands embrace the energies that flowed through me. Crimson eyes flared up around me as I charged the manifestation. I could feel its metal core, see the crystal at its heart. Now I know what it is. A Servyus, a machine made from the fires of the galaxy. Leaping, I sprayed it, barraging darkness upon it. It laughed, pushing me back, punching me in the face.

"Erys vhaly Tosihy." I couldn't understand what that meant, but hell am I going to care.

"Fuck you."

The dark one bowed before rending the forest in fire, snuffing the light. The screech, the ugly screech, of photons ripping apart at their seems. My dying light hanging in there. Nothing seems to be around, I continue to inflict the dark one, seeing if something will budge. The sky crackled and shattered as a new sky, alien to me appeared. A purple star, dark spires, volcanic conditions, crystals forming as they fell from the sky... I stopped, standing still, I closed my eyes. I imagined the forests of Earth, the light of the sun, and the scent of lavender. And like that, it was gone... The Verindium must be injected into me. Must have stopped the interjection before it started. But I know it will be back again soon.

(Three Hours After Collaspe)

"Shit, finally woke up. This must be the med bay huh?" The medics likely pulled up the flash drive. O blood type, lack of physical aliments, normal human stuff until the bottom of the document. While it was mostly incomplete for classification, it did list Verindium and its inherit properties with instructions on how to acquire and synthesize more. A as needed medication that no normal human should inject. I laid back in what appears to be a bed. "Have we taken off yet?" I noticed I was still in my armor, which wasn't too terribly surprising. Since it sticks to me like skin. I slap the center with my hand, letting it release off of my body. I roll it up carefully before leaving it on the bed. I couldn't really see if anyone was in the room.

Yukito Morimoto

Location: Docking Ramp
Direct Interaction: capMARVELOUS capMARVELOUS
Mentioning: Kylesar1 Kylesar1

Standing there with his grip onto the hull of the ship and his foot plastered firmly against the edge of the ramp the entire time to keep it open. The longer the male held onto it, the more the mechanical parts began to rip through from underneath his 'flesh'. Luckily, the woman known as Cho as it seemed took no time wasted to rush her way into the closing ramp to allow Yukito to finally release his grip and finally allow the docking ramp to completely shut. Although all he had done to the ship's ramp was merely dent the edge where he had his foot as well as denting into the edge of the hull where he had his palm, the hydraulics from the ship had done a number onto Yukito's arm and leg. With his right arm practically hung on his side loosely, small sparks could easily be seen from the places where his flesh had been torn while the sparks that came from his leg were at least easily covered by his own pants.

Turning his full attention over towards the woman who came rolling in just to thank the male for the encouragement, he would only nod his head once towards her while he gripped onto his torn up arm with his free undamaged left hand. "It's fine...I suggest you go speak with the captain and introduce yourself...I believe she is in the control room." With that simple suggestion, Yukito immediately wasted no time to begin heading his way back towards his quarters; so much for all his internal components being in tip top shape, at least this would give him something to do during the time they were traveling in space. With each step he took to leave the docking bay of the ship, the male had to drag his right leg slightly across the metal of the floor just from many of it's motor functions were shot.

Ennis J. Pendler

Not much improvement yet? Dammit. His condition was severe enough to be required to be hastily transported to the Med Bay. And therefore Ennis was specifically tasked to bring about a patient trolley and find a female medic who should supposedly be roaming around inside the Med Bay somewhere.
After Ennis had looked up her destination on the map of the ship to figure out the fastest pathway to get there, she got up right away and merely bolted off while trusting her sense of direction. It'd rarely (thankfully) let her down when in dire need.

Running from one quarter across to the other. On her way, Ennis had by chance stumbled upon the hooded man whom she'd previously seen speaking with MAISIE in the cafeteria.

"Emergency situation! Coming through!" She yelled over for him to hear, in attempt to make him move aside.
Swiftly dodging him at first, but not without having caught notice of how tightly he'd gripped his other arm like it was in badly pain. And his sluggish walking definitely convinced her further about her theory. And was that...sparks flying out of his arm? Hard to see, but her eyes couldn't be fully fooling her.
Stopping to a sudden halt, Ennis turned around to check him out, just to be extra sure. Despite feeling her heart beating out of her chest, Ennis spoke calmly.
"Hey, whoa-whoa. You don't look too good. Need help?" Pointing her finger towards his arm, to emphasize her meaning.
She was well aware of her current mission and of how it was her foremost priority to tend to, but couldn't bring herself to completely disregard the hooded man. She ought to ask him at least!

"Nutritionist my butt, I've had enough of those pod. Make me literally anything that doesn't have them in you or imma' mess with your docking station so you are going to recite the entirety of Hamlet while charging," Kicks blurted out "You don't want me angry, Maisie! You really don't!"
"Nah, make use of GrooveBot if ya need, Doc. He's a robot - prolly' stronger than all ya'll, also more precise. If nothing else you can make him dance for moral support." The kid said to the doctor and the robot confirmed this statement with "Here to help!" in an really cool sounding desert ranger-type voice. "Anyway, he's set to assist you anyway, so he'll follow you until I tell him to stop, which won't happen soon, cuz' my mouth is full of brea-" Kicks' sentence was interrupted by him putting bread in his mouth.

CHO MONTALBA
daeho-cha-ake1.jpg
Cho was a bit put off by the man's brusqueness. "All right, then," she mumbled as he walked away, his cybernetics dangling. She eyed him as he left; he wasn't too bad-looking, even with those robot bits. She might have to start seriously flirting with him once everything was settled.

She decided to take the man's advice and report to the captain. She made her way to the control room, shotguns in tow, suitcase left behind at the docking ramp for the moment, ignoring the antics of the other crewmates (which honestly looked like fun, but she'd have time for fun later). This ship was pretty big... Finally, she made it. Sure enough, the captain was there, and looking none too happy.

"Cho Montalba, checking in!" Cho said brightly, doing one of those weird anime peace sign gestures.
