BIOGRAPHY
Growing up on Terra Nova, John was accomplished pupil and star athlete. After graduating college, John took a divergent step and enrolled in the Navy's Officer Candidate School. An idealist of sorts, John had always been inspired by the tales of the military, fighting for humanity in the farthest reaches of the Galaxy. He enlisted with the intention of serving a short stretch and then moving on with skills gained from his time with the military and his degree. He volunteered and was accepted for Officer training with the Marines, despite vocal protests from his parents who had felt a position serving as an Officer on an Alliance ship would be safer than being stuck in the dirt with a squad of 'grunts'.

He was assigned to the notoriously tough 103rd Marine Division as a 2nd Lieutenant and proved to be a capable young Officer, rising steadily through the ranks, displaying a mature competency, willingness to learn and good leadership abilities. He saw combat battling pirates and Mercenary groups in the Decima Verge and was awarded the Bronze Star for saving his squad from an ambush by a group of slaver who had recently attacked a human colony on Garvagh.

As his rise through the ranks continued, so did his responsibilities. He transferred from his position in the Marines onto the CNV Ain Jalut with the rank of Lieutenant Commander before a call went out from ONI, the Alliance's Intelligence Service, looking to recruit promising Officers into their Division. John applied and was able to successfully navigate the exhaustive round of competency tests, exams and practical and theoretical exercises. From here, little biographical info is available other than his promotion to the rank of Colonel four years ago.

With twenty five years served and a military that was not the one he had grew up in, John decided to hand in his papers and enjoy retirement. To the surprise of no one that knew him, retirement for John lasted three months before he was seeking something other than a sedate life.

PHYSICAL
Tall, rugged and deeply tanned, John would be a PR Officer's dream for the next Navy recruitment campaign. The former Colonel stands at 6'2 and weights in at approximately 220lbs. Despite being in his mid-forties John still maintains a muscular physique and is in better shape than most men half his age. The progress of time cannot be completely ignored however; grey hair is clear on his temples and laughter lines tug at the corner of each eye and furrow his brow. Neither feature could be considered a blemish but add to a distinguished handsomeness.

Bio:
A long time ago, if you count 19 years a long time, a baby was born to a couple. The couple, they were of a strange lifestyle. A lifestyle of truly dangerous adventure, and they left the kid with his grandma. Growing up on Mars, the kid hated waiting for anything. Noone gave him a cool nickname, so he started calling himself Kicks. Noone had time to teach him any instruments, so he learned to play a few himself. Noone took him seriously, when he wanted to learn robotics, so he taught himself how to make robots.
So, as you can imagine, by the age of 10, Kicks had done quite a lot. He was accepted into one of the most prestigious learning institutions on Mars, Persistence City University, when he was barely 11 and dude to his immense frenzy and inspiration towards anything when he has his mind set on it, he finished in 2 years what took most people at least a decade
After that he got quickly employed at Mars Mechanics, where he managed to serve for another 2 years before leaving on his own right, tired of noone sharing his vision of making a giant battle robot. Which was something he has spent the last 4 years working on.

PHYSICAL
Appearance:
Just from far away, its clear that Kicks is an interesting fellow. While his hair is naturally dark blonde, fashioned in a short, messy style, he constantly has a purple stripe or two running through it. His skin tone is the most common thing about him - white with a mild tan, while his eyes are both very light blue and his body build is towards the skinny side. Kicks' wardrobe is filled with colorful clothing that could stand out from even the weirdest crowds. For example, his most common outfit is a light green coat with neon neon pink lines running from his sleeves up to the arms. Underneath this coat he'd wear a dark blue shirt, which contrasts with his bright orange pants.
Weapons & Armor: While he doesn't carry any weapons, he often wears both elbow- and kneeguards, both of which he has spray-painted red violet. He also often wears or at least carries with him his blue violet pilot helmet, which has many built in functionalities to either act as the user side to working with any of his personal robots or help him in creating his "masterpieces".
Items & Personal Belongings: Kicks usually has with him repair drones, small flying robots that can do the mundane maintenance of any of his robots, especially his giant battle robot, for him. How and what to do Kicks can tell them though his arm and/or pilot helmet.
Kicks also has "sticky boots", that, when activated, allow him to stick onto certain metal surfaces, such as his giant battle robot. These sticky boots also heavily soften falls, so he can land from heights up to 10 meters without any damage taken.
Skills & Abilities: Kicks is one of the best robotic engineers in his age group. As he spends most of his time creating different types of robots and battle armors - worker bots, repair drones, infantry automatons or a giant battle robot. He is also quite agile, having taught himself how to navigate areas and rooms quickly from an early age.
Enhancements: His right arm was badly damaged when he was in college and has been replaced with a cybernetic one, that has multiple tools literally up its sleeve. This arm is also removable.
Weaknesses: He has no fighting skill, outside of piloting his giant prototype battle robot or some of his battle armors. Without any enhancements like the ones just mentioned, he will probably lose any combat encounter.
He is not one to make people like him or persuade them into doing his bidding. The way he sees it, if people want to be his friend, they will try themselves and accept him for who he is.

    Standing a full height of 6'1'' and weighing up to about 189lbs, Yukito's hair is a light black with platinum tips on every strand of hair he has, his hair length goes down to his shoulders. Although at first glance he may appear to look completely human from head to toe, there are small details along some of his joints that show a small line that appear to look as though some of their particular parts of his body are attached. This is due to how he is not actually human nor is he an ordinary android AI but rather he is apart of the Xeropt kin. Unlike many other Xeropt who tend to either have dark blue eyes or full out silvery eyes, Yukito was born with his left being an emerald color while his right being ruby. Also unlike many other Xeropt who tend to have a pale skin color that makes it all the more obvious to see that they are not human; he has a peach tan color to his skin that makes him define to look more human than his own kin. When it comes to ordinary clothing, Yukito much prefers to wear anything that is more comfortable than simple jeans or skin-tight shirts. He can normally be seen wearing a large hoodie and sweatpants while walking around not doing anything in particular.

Appearance: Although she does not technically possess a physical form, M.A.I.S.I.E. can project a hologram although at the moment she is still unsure what hologram to make. Most of them are cartoon characters.

Sexuality: Maisie brags that she doesn't fall for such an emotional pitfall but she is known to download copious amounts of "questionable" videos for "research purposes." Most of these are usually girl on girl so it's safe to say she might be lesbian.

High Concept: An advanced computer A.I. with the brains of a scientist but the attitude of a teenager.

Relatives: Since she is a program, she doesn't have a "family" but she does consider her programmers to be the closest thing.

Inara Programming Chief: Doctor Darnell Fassbender (Alive)

Organizations\Affiliations: She is a program created by Inara Logistics, a company that specializes in designing A.I. that are "highly advanced and easily transferable". The drones are meant to be more customer friendly and versatile. Inara usually constructed military drones, but since there aren't too many wars to fight nowadays, they often take surplus drones and re-brand them as "assistant bots" or "friendly hologram clerks". Maisie was one of these clerks.

Bio: Created initially as a military droid, the Inara M.A.I.S.I.E. Tactical Assault Drones were mainly used to repair and often commandeer Inaros weapons and military grade vehicles. Without the risk of an A.I. Hivemind, many of these units were given personality and other such programming to make them more "human" but with a more advanced body and pre-programmed knowledge of the vehicles they were fixing.

However, as time went on, and M.A.I.S.I.E. had served a good 10 years into the war, she was retired and re-purposed. Her first job was initially at a theme park known as Wonder World, where she was trained to act as a visitor guide and even made holograms of the characters in Wonder World to make her more "family friendly". As a result, she has held onto this design and often uses it if she's bored. At the park, she also served as an assistant chef and considers herself a "Michelin Star Chef" despite most of her meals being pre-made or re-heated.

Eventually, M.A.I.S.I.E. replaced after Wonder World decided on more life-like androids and she serves now as an assistant to any space ship salesman. She doesn't necessarily control the ships, although depending on what modifications are added that could be a potential update. Throughout her time, she's grown to develop a "volatile" personality and hopes to one day explore the stars and improve her cooking. She's a bubbly drone, but she's very sensitive too.

Weapons & Armor: She has a small stun gun and her metal arms, which she says can wield any kitchen utensil as a weapon.

Items & Personal Belongings: A few souvenirs from her time working at Wonder World as well as the initial stamp of approval from the Inaros factory designating her a functioning A.I.

Skills & Abilities: She's quite knowledgeable of trivial fun facts and she can fix most issues on any space ship as well as her own ability to cook which she regards as advanced for her kind.

Enhancements: Since she's a robot, her main enhancement is the ability to download herself as a program into any Inaros-supported machines or vehicles. In a way, it functions similarly to airdrop, although it leaves her default drone body quite vulnerable.

Weaknesses: Since she's an A.I., her ability to interact with everyone is limited and sometimes her understanding of social ques can be off. Overtime, she's become quite a cheerful drone and most of the time she doesn't have problems, but she can get very sensitive of criticism, especially concerning any of her tasks or her cooking. On top of that, she still has "regression" periods of her time in the war and add the fact that she can easily get cranky if her main body is on low battery doesn't help either. Much like a teenager, she's prone to throwing temper tantrums too.

Bio: Robert was born in a very average family, father was a Defense Attorney a
and mother was a Financial Adviser. Pretty standard. He attended some rich kid private school where he kept mostly to himself. He always wanted to talk to people but his irrational fear of socialization was a crippling disability. He managed to stay the first two years of high school keeping to himself and getting good grades until the third year where he had to group up with people for a research project. As usual, he wanted to go through the project solo but his supervisor refused. He had the knowledge and the mental strength to do it alone but simply he could not out-talk out of this one. And that was where he met Betty Sharon. A beautiful young lady who immediately took his breath away. She was simply breathtaking. Literally. The first time he saw her,his chest congested. Almost thought he was going to die. So he had no option but to partner with this girl.


Over the course of the school year, he began to improve himself, he began reading self help books just to keep up with this woman. When he passed high school, he had one thing in mind, being a surgeon. And he went straight to University with that achievement, whilst holding her love of his life safely in his hands. Or so he thought. One year after enrolling, his girl found another man to keep her cold days warm. Devastated and heartbroken, he went on an academic leave for one year just to get over the emotional burden resting on his shoulders. His parents had no words to tell him so he went through the heartbreak alone. After one year, he went back, not to study but to transfer. Since his grades were good, he found no issue joining another school.

Fast forward 6 years and he finally managed to get the degree to make him a doctor but not a surgeon. He was taken under the wings of Dr. Derrick Shepherd, one of the best General Surgeons in the country. Under his leadership, he stormed through his classes and guidance to become a superstar in the hospital. When Dr. Shepherd was away, he would take full reigns without difficulty. One night during his rotation, a patient was suffering repeated bouts of pain through out his body and the safest drug was morphine. So he took a syringe, took 8.5cc's of the drug and gave it to the patient. What he didn't realize is that he gave the patient 10x more because he had used the wrong syringe. He was charged with negligence and fired from the hospital. Luckily, he managed to keep his license.

Appearance: Robert is an African American, standing at 6'1 and weighs 240lbs. He has a scar on his left cheek and a small but well kept mustache. He is well built as he lifts weights any time he can. Bio: Royce-Ann was trained in computer science from the age of 13, sent to a school of engineering, science, and technology to prepare for a college of the same type. She far excelled and at age of 18, she graduated valedictorian. Roy became a powerful force in programming in the next 2 years, spending all her time developing programs and establishing business connections. In the process, she had accidentally gotten pregnant and had the baby, trying to make the most of an undesired situation. The baby was born and named Willow. At 20, tragedy struck and Willow died. Deep in depression, Roy withdrew from society and quit all goals. In therapy, it was suggested that she preserve the memory by making an android of her. Initially disgusted at the idea, the therapist offered the middleground of making it as if Willow had grown up, which she reluctantly did. Willow was created and made to look as if she was 13. 2 years with Willow learning about the world with a childlike mentality were the hardest and most rewarding years of her life, and she finally got over the dead child to accept Willow as she was, not that Willow really knew. With a revitalized spark of life, Roy decided to go out and explore the world with a space exploration team. Now at age 25, she's on her 3rd year of piloting the ship and leads the exploration team

- A drone that rolls up into a ball (the size of a pool ball) and floats or crawls along the ground like a spider. In spider mode, it gains a small turret that's weak (useless against armor) but effective against unarmored targets, and HUDs. It has a low ammo capacity (about 30 normal rounds) with nothing to reload. In ball mode, it can generate a prism or a mirror for her to fire into. She can also tap into its cameras while it's in this form for her to see into. A chain of these can have her pulling off trick shots and hitting enemies behind any sort of cover

    Standing a full height of 6'1'' and weighing up to about 189lbs, Yukito's hair is a light black with platinum tips on every strand of hair he has, his hair length goes down to his shoulders. Although at first glance he may appear to look completely human from head to toe, there are small details along some of his joints that show a small line that appear to look as though some of their particular parts of his body are attached. This is due to how he is not actually human nor is he an ordinary android AI but rather he is apart of the Xeropt kin. Unlike many other Xeropt who tend to either have dark blue eyes or full out silvery eyes, Yukito was born with his left being an emerald color while his right being ruby. Also unlike many other Xeropt who tend to have a pale skin color that makes it all the more obvious to see that they are not human; he has a peach tan color to his skin that makes him define to look more human than his own kin. When it comes to ordinary clothing, Yukito much prefers to wear anything that is more comfortable than simple jeans or skin-tight shirts. He can normally be seen wearing a large hoodie and sweatpants while walking around not doing anything in particular.

Inara Programming Chief: Doctor Darnell Fassbender (Alive)

Organizations\Affiliations: She is a program created by Inara Logistics, a company that specializes in designing A.I. that are "highly advanced and easily transferable". The drones are meant to be more customer friendly and versatile. Inara usually constructed military drones, but since there aren't too many wars to fight nowadays, they often take surplus drones and re-brand them as "assistant bots" or "friendly hologram clerks". Maisie was one of these clerks.

Bio: Created initially as a military droid, the Inara M.A.I.S.I.E. Tactical Assault Drones were mainly used to repair and often commandeer Inaros weapons and military grade vehicles. Without the risk of an A.I. Hivemind, many of these units were given personality and other such programming to make them more "human" but with a more advanced body and pre-programmed knowledge of the vehicles they were fixing.

However, as time went on, and M.A.I.S.I.E. had served a good 10 years into the war, she was retired and re-purposed. Her first job was initially at a theme park known as Wonder World, where she was trained to act as a visitor guide and even made her own hologram of a human to make her more "family friendly". As a result, she has held onto this design and often uses it if she's bored. At the park, she also served as an assistant chef and considers herself a "Michelin Star Chef" despite most of her meals being pre-made or re-heated.

Eventually, M.A.I.S.I.E. replaced after Wonder World decided on more life-like androids and she serves now as an assistant to any space ship salesman. She doesn't necessarily control the ships, although depending on what modifications are added that could be a potential update. Throughout her time, she's grown to develop a "volatile" personality and hopes to one day explore the stars and improve her cooking. She's a bubbly drone, but she's very sensitive too.

Items & Personal Belongings: A few souvenirs from her time working at Wonder World as well as the initial stamp of approval from the Inaros factory designating her a functioning A.I.

Skills & Abilities: She's quite knowledgeable of trivial fun facts and she can fix most issues on any space ship as well as her own ability to cook which she regards as advanced for her kind.

Enhancements: Since she's a robot, her main enhancement is the ability to download herself as a program into any Inaros-supported machines or vehicles. In a way, it functions similarly to airdrop, although it leaves her default drone body quite vulnerable.

Weaknesses: Since she's an A.I., her ability to interact with everyone is limited and sometimes her understanding of social ques can be off. Overtime, she's become quite a cheerful drone and most of the time she doesn't have problems, but she can get very sensitive of criticism, especially concerning any of her tasks or her cooking. On top of that, she still has "regression" periods of her time in the war and add the fact that she can easily get cranky if her main body is on low battery doesn't help either. Much like a teenager, she's prone to throwing temper tantrums too.

He always wanted to talk to people but his irrational fear of socialization was a crippling disability. He managed to stay the first two years of high school keeping to himself and getting good grades until the third year where he had to group up with people for a research project. As usual, he wanted to go through the project solo but his supervisor refused. He had the knowledge and the mental strength to do it alone but simply he could not out-talk out of this one. And that was where he met Betty Sharon. A beautiful young lady who immediately took his breath away. She was simply breathtaking. Literally. The first time he saw her,his chest congested. Almost thought he was going to die. So he had no option but to partner with this girl.


Over the course of the school year, he began to improve himself, he began reading self help books just to keep up with this woman. When he passed high school, he had one thing in mind, being a surgeon. And he went straight to University with that achievement, whilst holding her love of his life safely in his hands. Or so he thought. One year after enrolling, his girl found another man to keep her cold days warm. Devastated and heartbroken, he went on an academic leave for one year just to get over the emotional burden resting on his shoulders. His parents had no words to tell him so he went through the heartbreak alone. After one year, he went back, not to study but to transfer. Since his grades were good, he found no issue joining another school.

Fast forward 6 years and he finally managed to get the degree to make him a doctor but not a surgeon. He was taken under the wings of Dr. Derrick Shepherd, one of the best General Surgeons in the country. Under his leadership, he stormed through his classes and guidance to become a superstar in the hospital. When Dr. Shepherd was away, he would take full reigns without difficulty. One night during his rotation, a patient was suffering repeated bouts of pain through out his body and the safest drug was morphine. So he took a syringe, took 8.5cc's of the drug and gave it to the patient. What he didn't realize is that he gave the patient 10x more because he had used the wrong syringe. He was charged with negligence and fired from the hospital. Luckily, he managed to keep his license.

Overview: The Trekka are fleet borne humans who were, for centuries interstellar nomads, only reintegrating with humanity at large in the last five decades. Trekka are nearly identical to humans, and are largely regarded as such, however there are small differences in their biology which sets them apart enough to be considered a human subspecies.


Biology:


The digression in Trekka anatomy is a result of intentional modification vice natural evolution, in order to shape humans into being better adapted to permanent occupancy in space, though despite this, these differences have become hereditary traits. As a result of the self-induced "evolution" Trekka are often referred to as a derived subspecies. Typically the variance of size and weight of most Trekka matches that of their human counterparts. It has been noted that all Trekka seem to have a fair, or more accurately pale complexion, though this has been considered a result of lack of exposure to sunlight. Trekka tend to have a longer average lifespan than humans by about thirty years, this is likely a result of their metabolism, their skin contains chlorophyll and and therefore their diet and energy production is supplemented by the process of photosynthesis, this in turn results in a lower demand for oxygen and food (Trekka only eat about once a week). Minor differences in the brain exist among Trekka, primarily the absence of a pineal gland, and associated serotonin and melatonin presence within the body, this seems to have no affect the psyche of the Trekka though their sleep cycles are affected. Trekka only seem to sleep about once per month and for only about three to six hours.


The greatest and most apparent difference from humans is that Trekka children are born completely genderless, having no discernible genitalia, nor reproductive organs. This state of being agendered will persist well into adulthood, only terminating upon an individual finding a mate, at which point they will begin to manifest a set of either male or female reproductive traits, with their partner developing corresponding traits (in the case of a mating pair consisting of two Trekka). As a result of this mechanism, Trekka do not undergo any specific period of accelerated bodily development (i.e: puberty), and physical and mental development appear to progress at a linear rate, with cognitive and physical (in terms of size) maturation occurring at roughly the same time frame as unmodified humans.

Bauldra's escape is what additionally lead to his affinity for engineering as his plan involved stealing a personnel shuttle that he'd heavily modified. This knack for suping engines and thrusters up saw to it that the the Terran navy had a place for Bauldra then he appealed for asylum.

Bauldra's time in the Navy was a lengthy one, leading to him having a great deal of experience with numerous different types of ships and propulsion systems.

Bio:
From the very start of her life, her family had been doomed to fall apart. Right before her birth, her mother, a worldwide known beauty icon got married to a wealthy business man, the owner and founder of one of the most influential cybernetic corporations, Pendulum Industries. Their flamboyant marital life hid gruesome secrets. Her mother and father both had their fair shares of affairs, taking revenge upon each other turn after turn. Their fights eventually got completely out of hand as her mother became pregnant with another man's baby. She aborted the baby yet chose to keep it a secret from her husband. But the divorce was inevitable and Ennis' father left his family for good, casually departing from them and resumed his life, running his business successfully as ever. The truth about the cause of their divorce was kept hidden from world's view.
Though and though, her mother's career turned completely upside down after their separation, overindulgence in alcohol as her source of escape. Late night parties and fornication. Ennis' mother was deemed inept and far too unstable to foster her daughter and was enrolled to a mental hospital. Ennis was taken in by her grandmother alone.

When she reached the age of seven, her mother had victoriously committed suicide.
Her grandmother Ivy, a calm and wise old woman she was. Deeply affected by her suicide, Ivy was in constant worry and grief over her daughter's fate and untimely death. She never forgave herself for neglecting her duty of providing proper guidance, love and help as a mother to her child. Unable to guide her to the right path in time.
Ennis however remained unfazed by the situation- Relieved even. She didn't grow up like an ordinary child- human or other species, showing concerning signs of antisocialism and lone wolf-like behavior. But really, she was just very different. Thought differently, felt differently and acted differently.
Yet the two spent their time in poverty yet happy with each other's presence. Ennis adored her grandmother to the skies.
Young Ennis attained a bad reputation at every school possible. Older kids would pick on her. She fought back. Bullies engaged in fights with her, scars and broken bones from both sides. Once ago, a street gang harassed Ennis on her way home. This very trauma caused her to walk around in school and in the outdoor, permanently dressed in boy's clothing, tricking people to think of her as the opposite gender, earning her the nickname 'Dennis'.
An older boy befriended her on the streets, defending her during a fight. He invited her to his martial arts club, becoming her best friend and brother figure, she looked up to him immensely. Noah was his name and from african descent. They both shared the same story of poverty and childhood abuse. Became police partners in the force and served justice together. Noah became happily married to a factory worker and had a child.
Sadly, he was later murdered brutally. A case left unsolved and shelved. Ennis went down with stress and frustrations, unable to continue her career in the force. Wanting to investigate this personal murder mystery herself, the ex-cop chose to become a private investigator and took the responsibility of caring for her deceased friend's family, helping them out with their earnings and aiding with help and support. As years went ahead, her thirst for adventure and catching criminals increased incredibly and staying on earth couldn't satisfy her eagerness, leading her to choose a surprisingly new path. On a spaceship.

Unstable emotions: While also battling with a severe stress disorder, Ennis is rather enclosed and stoic, but easily capable of experiencing angry outburts when pushed to the edge.
Social outcast: Ennis finds it difficult to form close friendships with others.. Which is, for the most part, due to lack of interest and patience.
Too impulsive and brash: Her manner of speech is honest and direct, no-nonsensey, she may blurt something out of pure instinct and it could accidentally hurt someone or anger them. Not the most sympathetic character. At all. But empathetic? Definitely.

  • Light Limited: If she runs out of energy, she loses 95% of her functionality
  • Under Command: Unless Roy or her is in grave danger, she doesn't really use any combat functionality until she's commanded to

Practicing moving shadows and warping light. Multiple experiments on Icarus have yielded readings on a mysterious form of energy that traverses his system constantly, yet discreetly. It's origins unknown and it bothers him not knowing what he is. Icarus performed multiple hit and runs, covet strikes, and intelligence gathering missions. With help, Icarus managed to control his power to perform multiple operations in the special forces before he managed to get out with Grey's assistance. Icarus and Grey moved out to Australia where they started their young lives at 23 and 27 respectively.

Grey turned missing on April 22nd, 2408. No trace, no blood, nothing at all. Icarus was invited to the investigation where he recognized the same energy readings that was discovered on him. Stand at about 5”9’, and much more muscular then your average tau. He also rarely takes his helmet off, but when he does, it reveals a nasty scar that his right face. It was said that the damage Koot sustained during a certain battle was almost fatel, he was luckily to be escape with his entire face intact.
Weapons & Armor:
Tau Tactical Infantry Suit- This suit was made for Tau commanders, as it provides a three layer protection against most small fire and also protects against shrapnel, yet it's light enough to allow for mobility. The helmet has a built in analyser, camera, hud system, night and infrared vision, as well as a communicator, and is capable of functioning as a rebreather in space, as can the rest of his suit protect him in space. The suit also comes with a built in grappling hook and magnetic footwear. Koot has modified it with a clock, that has seen some battles.
Pulse Rifle + Marker- Pulse rifle shoots out a concentrated plasma blast that has a long range of travel almost equivalent that of a sniper rifle. The weapon also comes with a marker dives, that allows it to mark and identify targets that will then relay the information to other systems, allowing for much more accurate weapon accuracy.
Pulse Pistol- A useful backup weapon as well as a supplementary weapon to his blade.
Plasma Grenades- Functions just like normal grenades, though the explosion is caused more because of a plasmic explosion.
Dawn Blade- It's a katana like blade, laser cut, but the difference here is that it did not belong to the race that Koot came from, rather it was picked up in his travel into the milky way. He has honed his skills with the blade and is capable of using it.
Kroot Knife- Also a bit of a personal belonging, but it was the knife given to him by his feral parents before his reintroduction into Tau civlizaiton. Shaped like a hook knife, capable of tearing into flesh and even metal.

Bonding Knife- Not at all used for combat, best you ask him what it's used for.
Primitive Necklace- Seems primitive enough, maybe a memorabilia from the tribe that raised him? Maybe it'll even explain why Koot and his companions exiled themselves...

Marksmen- A good sniper, can take the shot even from miles away.
Pathfinder- Has a good sense of direction, and can traverse the terrain with ease and remain undetected at the same time. Koot is also good at tracking, using the techniques of the feral tribe from wince he was raised in.
CQC Expert- Capable in melee, weather it be with his hands or his knife.
Swordsmen- Capable of going toe-to-toe in a melee, relying on his speed to win the fight. His training even allows him to deflect incoming projectiles using his blade.
Instinct- Unlike most of his race, Koot exhibits heightened senses, from vision to hearing. This allows him to almost "sense" enemies from a farther off distance.
Weaknesses:
Not the Toughest- Even though Koot is fast and he wears his armor, that does not mean he is all that tough. If he takes a direct hit from a heavy weapon, likely he will go down because of it.
Feral- The problem with Koot's upbringing by a feral tribe is that some of his habits also carry over...like smelling poop to track down a creature. This makes Koot a bit of a outcast, being that he is perceived as weird, less by choice and more by natural instinct. He also has a musk to him that most would find...not disgusting but uncomfortable with. Koot will take showers if confronted with it, but good luck confronting him with it, as it seems like he vanishes in the blink of the eye the moment the thought is mentioned.
PTSD- Koot's seen a lot of war, it's why he almost lost half of his face.

Even so, he seems to be a bit of a legend amongst the group, though he is ever so modest at his feats, both in negotiations and at martial prowess.

Appearance
: Standing at 6'0" and is surprisingly brimming with muscle for one of his kind. he wears a sort of robe like water caste uniform, though under the robes he mostly travels barefoot. One of the more distinct of his features is the blindfold he wears around his head, mainly because it symbolizes his inability to see, but do not underestimate him for that.
Weapons & Armor:
T'au Honor Staff- On the outset, it looks like a simple, primitive staff, standing about a head taller then it's user. It more or less is, but it is very durable, capable of withstanding even energy weapons, yet very light as well. The staff does have two functions of note, one is that the tip of the staff can be used as a bit of a pick up tool, but more importantly it can emit a pinging sound that can stun an enemy in the direction the staff is pointed too.

Translator- Alphin possess an almost terrifying capability of being able to translate alien languages. This drevies more from his species variant, the water caste. as they are called, more than anything else.
Strategist- Even being blind, Alphin has had stratagems and tactics drilled into his head. Capable of giving tactical advice on the fly, long as he's aware of the situation.
Pressure Points- Alphin practices an alien martial art technique not unsimilar to many asian fighting styles, supplemented by his natural ability to mental analysis a creature allows Alphin to pinpoint their weak spots and disable a body part, maybe even cripple the body for a short amount of time.
Nimble- Thanks to training, Alphin possess lightning fast reflexes. Coupled with his ability to heightened sensing ability, he can not only dodge out of the way of incoming projectiles, but even his use staff to deflect incoming shots at a rapid pace.
Soothing Voice- There's just somthing about Alphin's voice that can calm a person down, even make them feel safe and secure. Usually it's helped by a cup of tea.
Psionics:
Communicator- Alpin can use telekinesis to mentally communicate with a given person, although this requires both focus and a sense(does not need to be exact) of where the person is for him to do so.
Sonic Senses- Capable of emitting a rapid wave that then bounces back, allowing Alpin to "see" his surroundings.
Emotional Radar- Allows for Alpin "sense" a person's emotions, helps a great deal with negotiations as he bends and flows with his audience. Also allows him to detect living organisms, though this does not apply to mechanical ones.
Energy Indivator-Can also “sense” levels of energy, although he himself cannot utilize said energy.
Weaknesses:
Blind- Even given his psionic abilities, in the end Alpin is still blind, and that comes with it's own bag of problems.
Fragile- Despite being fast enough not to be hit by even a bullet, if he is hit by a bullet things are not going to look good for him.
Non-lethal Pacifist - All of alpin's attacks are in there nature non-lethal, meaning he can't kill and won't.
Robots Do Not Apply- Pressure points don't work too well with mechanical objects, though he can still batter them about.

: Ora’taga looks like any other earth caste member, short but stout, standing at about 4'7" but with a few cuts and scars here and there. His left arm is fitted with a robotic prosthetic, his real arm lost when he first downed by an enemy of the Tau. When he is outside of the battle suit he wears the common earth caste suit, though he wears with a armored vest and shoulder pads under his vest. Additionally he has a number of slings that contain tools and parts,a pair of goggles slung around his neck.

XV-88 Broadside Battlesuit- Ora’taga’s battlesuit is a XV-88 Broadside Battlesuit. The battlesuit was salvaged from a fallen T'au commander prior to Ora’taga’s exile. The battlesuit is made up of a light but very durable metal and is equipped with a advanced thruster that gives the suit a great deal of mobility. The XV-88 is also equipped with a pair of experimental Onager gauntlets, capable of crushing even the strongest metal and lifting the heaviest of objects, as well as shoulder mounted twin-link plasma rifles, though it can be replaced with other weapons. Installed on board is a advanced drone controller, allowing the use of several drones at once.

Drone Swarm-These drones are alien in nature, yet they have many functionalities. Some can generate energy shields around an area while others could commence repairs, there are also a variety of weapons drones, including pulse drones and missile drones. These drones speak a mechanical language that only one of Ora's race could understand, and each drones has it's own individual personality. The drones have also been adapted to the human ship interface to be able to semi-work with the ship and it's A.I.
Pulse Pistol-
An alien weapon, to be sure, yet it does the job fine. Shots plasma bolts and relies on an energy core that is capable of recharging on the go.
Alien Tools- These advance tools are vastly differnt from those humans use, yet they serve much the same purpose it seems.

T'au Engineer- Skilled at technology, no matter who they made it. Capable of repairing and integrating technology from all across the galaxy.
Enhancements:
Cybernetic Eye- Ora lost his left eye in the line of duty, though he does not say how. Since then it has been replaced with a cybernetic eye. With the addition of a hud, it allows Ora to analyse a situation and even communicate with his drones. It's also capable of integrating with his mech's interface. It also appears like a white ball when not in use, but glows blue when Ora mentally activates it.
Prosthetic Arm- Replaced his old one after it had to be amputated. It's stronger than the previous one, capable of just as complex finer maneuvers, though without the same feel to it.
Weaknesses:
Soft Skin- Out of his mech, Ora isn't the most durable of creatures and can easily be squashed.
Tech Reliant- The tau earth caste relies heavily on technology and tools, and is of very little use without it.
Tech Integration- While Ora can integrate his technology into others, it's almost impossible for others to do the same with his tech. This means stuff like his battlesuit cannot be piloted with any hint of efficiencies by any one but Ora, and his drones can only communicate with one of his kind. It's almost impossible for one not of his race to understand his technology, though human A.I. can communicate with his drones, it is of the most basic of computer language, almost coming down to charades

: Oxa is tall and slim like any one of his kind, standing at about 8'5", though not very pudgy. He prefers to wear the air caste pilot suit wear ever he goes(because you never know when you need to pilot something) and has a cloak draped around him, as well as a T'au styled head gear. Oxa also keeps his face hidden under his clock, for whatever reason, and not even his companions have seen under it.
Weapons & Armor:
Barracuda- A Barracuda is a multi-purpose aircraft, capable of traversing into space and into the atmosphere whilst carrying cargo, be it living or not. The Barracudas is also equipped with a Targeting Array as standard for improved accuracy, Blacksun Filters for night-fighting, as well as Disruption Pods and Decoy Launchers for additional protection. Armed with a nose-mounted, pilot aimed Ion Cannon. This is the aircraft's primary weapon of use in dogfights, backed up by two drone controlled Burst Cannons in the wings. For ground attacks, it is primarily armed with wing mounted missile pods. When used in an ground attack role a Barracuda can carry additional armament of up to four Seeker missiles.

The T'au Empire has yet to be encountered by humanity, as it is in another galaxy entirely. In Tau society, every person is viewed as an essential part of the whole society. Social standing is judged primarily by a being's standing within a caste of the Tau, with 'La being the lowest (Shas'la: Fire Warrior, Fio'la: Earth Worker, Por'la: Water Bureaucrat) and 'O being the highest (Shas'O: Fire Commander, Fio'O: Earth Planner, Por'O: Water Ambassador). The castes are as follows:

Fire (Shas) -- The Fire Caste composes the bulk of the military of the Tau Empire, and as such are the Tau most often used in the game. They average as tall as or slightly shorter than an average human, and are generally muscular. This comes from the Fire Caste's origin on the plains of T'au, the Tau homeworld, where they survived as hunters and warriors.
Earth (Fio) -- The Earth Caste is composed not only of laborers and technicians, but also artisans, scientists and engineers. They are usually credited with the significant leaps in technology that the Tau Empire has enjoyed. The members of the Earth Caste form the foundations upon which the Tau Empire is built. The inhabitants of this caste are generally short and stout of build.
Water (Por) -- The Water Caste is primarily composed of Tau merchants and diplomats. They are tasked with seeking and maintaining diplomatic relations with the other species of the Tau Empire, as well as maintaining the ease of communication and cooperation between the other castes. The Water Caste are generally taller and slimmer than other Tau, and favor diplomatic training and social grace over confrontation or combat. They are more capable in communicating in the languages of other intelligent races than most other Tau, using their ability of communication to turn entire worlds to their cause.
Air (Kor) -- The Air Caste of the Tau function not only as messengers, but also as the bulk of the Tau Navy. The Tau of the Air Caste are even taller and more slender than the Water Caste, with long, skinny appendages and hollow bones. These traits are attributed to their lives lived mostly in low to zero-gravity starships and space stations. This is exacerbated by Air Caste reluctance, if not outright refusal to land on planets, as their skeletons have atrophied to the point where injury and broken bones are commonplace when they spend time in a gravity well. In the past,the Air Caste had membranes stretching between their limbs, which allowed them to glide on air currents.

Alexis born to a soldier father and a surgeon mother, knew that life would somehow rope her into one of her parent's line of work.
A pleasant surprise for them both when Alexis decided she'd join the Army, not as a frontline servicewoman but as a humble medic working to restore her injured fellows.
It didn't stay that long however, in a revolution staged by dissidents her company was overrun by sheer numbers.
Left with no other choice, she grabbed the nearest rifle and joined the rest of her company in the battle.
Out numbered but definitely not out-gunned, they held out for three-days before reinforcements came.

During those moments, Alexis had been buzzing back and forth tending wounds and occasionally fire a few rounds at the incoming masses.
After the battle, she was awarded a medal for exemplary service during the company's finest hour and was subsequently promoted.

Practicing moving shadows and warping light. Multiple experiments on Icarus have yielded readings on a mysterious form of energy that traverses his system constantly, yet discreetly. It's origins unknown and it bothers him not knowing what he is. Icarus performed multiple hit and runs, covet strikes, and intelligence gathering missions. With help, Icarus managed to control his power to perform multiple operations in the special forces before he managed to get out with Grey's assistance. Icarus and Grey moved out to Australia where they started their young lives at 23 and 27 respectively.

Stand at about 5”9’, and much more muscular then your average tau. He also rarely takes his helmet off, but when he does, it reveals a nasty scar that his right face. It was said that the damage Koot sustained during a certain battle was almost fatel, he was luckily to be escape with his entire face intact.
Weapons & Armor:
Tau Tactical Infantry Suit- This suit was made for Tau commanders, as it provides a three layer protection against most small fire and also protects against shrapnel, yet it's light enough to allow for mobility. The helmet has a built in analyser, camera, hud system, night and infrared vision, as well as a communicator, and is capable of functioning as a rebreather in space, as can the rest of his suit protect him in space. The suit also comes with a built in grappling hook and magnetic footwear. Koot has modified it with a clock, that has seen some battles.
Pulse Rifle + Marker- Pulse rifle shoots out a concentrated plasma blast that has a long range of travel almost equivalent that of a sniper rifle. The weapon also comes with a marker dives, that allows it to mark and identify targets that will then relay the information to other systems, allowing for much more accurate weapon accuracy.
Pulse Pistol- A useful backup weapon as well as a supplementary weapon to his blade.
Plasma Grenades- Functions just like normal grenades, though the explosion is caused more because of a plasmic explosion.
Dawn Blade- It's a katana like blade, laser cut, but the difference here is that it did not belong to the race that Koot came from, rather it was picked up in his travel into the milky way. He has honed his skills with the blade and is capable of using it.
Kroot Knife- Also a bit of a personal belonging, but it was the knife given to him by his feral parents before his reintroduction into Tau civlizaiton. Shaped like a hook knife, capable of tearing into flesh and even metal.

Primitive Necklace- Seems primitive enough, maybe a memorabilia from the tribe that raised him? Maybe it'll even explain why Koot and his companions exiled themselves...

Marksmen- A good sniper, can take the shot even from miles away.
Pathfinder- Has a good sense of direction, and can traverse the terrain with ease and remain undetected at the same time. Koot is also good at tracking, using the techniques of the feral tribe from wince he was raised in.
CQC Expert- Capable in melee, weather it be with his hands or his knife.
Swordsmen- Capable of going toe-to-toe in a melee, relying on his speed to win the fight. His training even allows him to deflect incoming projectiles using his blade.
Instinct- Unlike most of his race, Koot exhibits heightened senses, from vision to hearing. This allows him to almost "sense" enemies from a farther off distance.
Weaknesses:
Not the Toughest- Even though Koot is fast and he wears his armor, that does not mean he is all that tough. If he takes a direct hit from a heavy weapon, likely he will go down because of it.
Feral- The problem with Koot's upbringing by a feral tribe is that some of his habits also carry over...like smelling poop to track down a creature. This makes Koot a bit of a outcast, being that he is perceived as weird, less by choice and more by natural instinct. He also has a musk to him that most would find...not disgusting but uncomfortable with. Koot will take showers if confronted with it, but good luck confronting him with it, as it seems like he vanishes in the blink of the eye the moment the thought is mentioned.
PTSD- Koot's seen a lot of war, it's why he almost lost half of his face.

Appearance
: Standing at 6'0" and is surprisingly brimming with muscle for one of his kind. he wears a sort of robe like water caste uniform, though under the robes he mostly travels barefoot. One of the more distinct of his features is the blindfold he wears around his head, mainly because it symbolizes his inability to see, but do not underestimate him for that.
Weapons & Armor:
T'au Honor Staff- On the outset, it looks like a simple, primitive staff, standing about a head taller then it's user. It more or less is, but it is very durable, capable of withstanding even energy weapons, yet very light as well. The staff does have two functions of note, one is that the tip of the staff can be used as a bit of a pick up tool, but more importantly it can emit a pinging sound that can stun an enemy in the direction the staff is pointed too.

Translator- Alphin possess an almost terrifying capability of being able to translate alien languages. This drevies more from his species variant, the water caste. as they are called, more than anything else.
Strategist- Even being blind, Alphin has had stratagems and tactics drilled into his head. Capable of giving tactical advice on the fly, long as he's aware of the situation.
Pressure Points- Alphin practices an alien martial art technique not unsimilar to many asian fighting styles, supplemented by his natural ability to mental analysis a creature allows Alphin to pinpoint their weak spots and disable a body part, maybe even cripple the body for a short amount of time.
Nimble- Thanks to training, Alphin possess lightning fast reflexes. Coupled with his ability to heightened sensing ability, he can not only dodge out of the way of incoming projectiles, but even his use staff to deflect incoming shots at a rapid pace.
Soothing Voice- There's just somthing about Alphin's voice that can calm a person down, even make them feel safe and secure. Usually it's helped by a cup of tea.
Psionics:
Communicator- Alpin can use telekinesis to mentally communicate with a given person, although this requires both focus and a sense(does not need to be exact) of where the person is for him to do so.
Sonic Senses- Capable of emitting a rapid wave that then bounces back, allowing Alpin to "see" his surroundings.
Emotional Radar- Allows for Alpin "sense" a person's emotions, helps a great deal with negotiations as he bends and flows with his audience. Also allows him to detect living organisms, though this does not apply to mechanical ones.
Energy Indivator-Can also “sense” levels of energy, although he himself cannot utilize said energy.
Weaknesses:
Blind- Even given his psionic abilities, in the end Alpin is still blind, and that comes with it's own bag of problems.
Fragile- Despite being fast enough not to be hit by even a bullet, if he is hit by a bullet things are not going to look good for him.
Non-lethal Pacifist - All of alpin's attacks are in there nature non-lethal, meaning he can't kill and won't.
Robots Do Not Apply- Pressure points don't work too well with mechanical objects, though he can still batter them about.

: Ora’taga looks like any other earth caste member, short but stout, standing at about 4'7" but with a few cuts and scars here and there. His left arm is fitted with a robotic prosthetic, his real arm lost when he first downed by an enemy of the Tau. When he is outside of the battle suit he wears the common earth caste suit, though he wears with a armored vest and shoulder pads under his vest. Additionally he has a number of slings that contain tools and parts,a pair of goggles slung around his neck.

XV-88 Broadside Battlesuit- Ora’taga’s battlesuit is a XV-88 Broadside Battlesuit. The battlesuit was salvaged from a fallen T'au commander prior to Ora’taga’s exile. The battlesuit is made up of a light but very durable metal and is equipped with a advanced thruster that gives the suit a great deal of mobility. The XV-88 is also equipped with a pair of experimental Onager gauntlets, capable of crushing even the strongest metal and lifting the heaviest of objects, as well as shoulder mounted twin-link plasma rifles, though it can be replaced with other weapons. Installed on board is a advanced drone controller, allowing the use of several drones at once.

Drone Swarm-These drones are alien in nature, yet they have many functionalities. Some can generate energy shields around an area while others could commence repairs, there are also a variety of weapons drones, including pulse drones and missile drones. These drones speak a mechanical language that only one of Ora's race could understand, and each drones has it's own individual personality. The drones have also been adapted to the human ship interface to be able to semi-work with the ship and it's A.I.
Pulse Pistol-
An alien weapon, to be sure, yet it does the job fine. Shots plasma bolts and relies on an energy core that is capable of recharging on the go.
Alien Tools- These advance tools are vastly differnt from those humans use, yet they serve much the same purpose it seems.

T'au Engineer- Skilled at technology, no matter who they made it. Capable of repairing and integrating technology from all across the galaxy.
Enhancements:
Cybernetic Eye- Ora lost his left eye in the line of duty, though he does not say how. Since then it has been replaced with a cybernetic eye. With the addition of a hud, it allows Ora to analyse a situation and even communicate with his drones. It's also capable of integrating with his mech's interface. It also appears like a white ball when not in use, but glows blue when Ora mentally activates it.
Prosthetic Arm- Replaced his old one after it had to be amputated. It's stronger than the previous one, capable of just as complex finer maneuvers, though without the same feel to it.
Weaknesses:
Soft Skin- Out of his mech, Ora isn't the most durable of creatures and can easily be squashed.
Tech Reliant- The tau earth caste relies heavily on technology and tools, and is of very little use without it.
Tech Integration- While Ora can integrate his technology into others, it's almost impossible for others to do the same with his tech. This means stuff like his battlesuit cannot be piloted with any hint of efficiencies by any one but Ora, and his drones can only communicate with one of his kind. It's almost impossible for one not of his race to understand his technology, though human A.I. can communicate with his drones, it is of the most basic of computer language, almost coming down to charades

: Oxa is tall and slim like any one of his kind, standing at about 8'5", though not very pudgy. He prefers to wear the air caste pilot suit wear ever he goes(because you never know when you need to pilot something) and has a cloak draped around him, as well as a T'au styled head gear. Oxa also keeps his face hidden under his clock, for whatever reason, and not even his companions have seen under it.
Weapons & Armor:
Barracuda- A Barracuda is a multi-purpose aircraft, capable of traversing into space and into the atmosphere whilst carrying cargo, be it living or not. The Barracudas is also equipped with a Targeting Array as standard for improved accuracy, Blacksun Filters for night-fighting, as well as Disruption Pods and Decoy Launchers for additional protection. Armed with a nose-mounted, pilot aimed Ion Cannon. This is the aircraft's primary weapon of use in dogfights, backed up by two drone controlled Burst Cannons in the wings. For ground attacks, it is primarily armed with wing mounted missile pods. When used in an ground attack role a Barracuda can carry additional armament of up to four Seeker missiles.

The T'au Empire has yet to be encountered by humanity, as it is in another galaxy entirely. In Tau society, every person is viewed as an essential part of the whole society. Social standing is judged primarily by a being's standing within a caste of the Tau, with 'La being the lowest (Shas'la: Fire Warrior, Fio'la: Earth Worker, Por'la: Water Bureaucrat) and 'O being the highest (Shas'O: Fire Commander, Fio'O: Earth Planner, Por'O: Water Ambassador). The castes are as follows:

Fire (Shas) -- The Fire Caste composes the bulk of the military of the Tau Empire, and as such are the Tau most often used in the game. They average as tall as or slightly shorter than an average human, and are generally muscular. This comes from the Fire Caste's origin on the plains of T'au, the Tau homeworld, where they survived as hunters and warriors.
Earth (Fio) -- The Earth Caste is composed not only of laborers and technicians, but also artisans, scientists and engineers. They are usually credited with the significant leaps in technology that the Tau Empire has enjoyed. The members of the Earth Caste form the foundations upon which the Tau Empire is built. The inhabitants of this caste are generally short and stout of build.

The Tau of the Air Caste are even taller and more slender than the Water Caste, with long, skinny appendages and hollow bones. These traits are attributed to their lives lived mostly in low to zero-gravity starships and space stations. This is exacerbated by Air Caste reluctance, if not outright refusal to land on planets, as their skeletons have atrophied to the point where injury and broken bones are commonplace when they spend time in a gravity well. In the past,the Air Caste had membranes stretching between their limbs, which allowed them to glide on air currents.

Alexis born to a soldier father and a surgeon mother, knew that life would somehow rope her into one of her parent's line of work.
A pleasant surprise for them both when Alexis decided she'd join the Army, not as a frontline servicewoman but as a humble medic working to restore her injured fellows.
It didn't stay that long however, in a revolution staged by dissidents her company was overrun by sheer numbers.
Left with no other choice, she grabbed the nearest rifle and joined the rest of her company in the battle.
Out numbered but definitely not out-gunned, they held out for three-days before reinforcements came.

During those moments, Alexis had been buzzing back and forth tending wounds and occasionally fire a few rounds at the incoming masses.
After the battle, she was awarded a medal for exemplary service during the company's finest hour and was subsequently promoted.
Alexis requested to leave the military soon after, life in the military had been wonderful but she found herself wishing she could do something else.

    Bio: Hyevane became a correspondent for Kollamian Federal research about seventy years ago after his sucessful invention of the Volres-Olvas, a device capably of modifying the consciousness of a sentient lifeform. Often referred to as the soul. Hyevane then employed local military forces to abduct humans to experiment on their souls. He then used death row Servyus, split their souls in half and inserted that half into a human. He ultimately concluded that the human soul has great power that it cannot use due to its ultimate design. He hypothesized that the Servyus half would eventually mix with the human side making a very powerful Omi that was as strong as a Servyus' but different in nature. The Omi is the ultimate origin of the Eldritch humans powers as long with the Servyus'. However, the Eldritch Human's powers are much weaker until their human part of their souls succumb to the Servyus portion, if ever. Hyevane travels to Earth in a small stealth craft to observe the subjects, he ultimately finds Icarus the easiest subject to study and intercepts him on Earth, being the figure at the edge of his vision.
