battlefield
Lazaro1505 Lazaro1505

As The knight marched onto the battlefield he looked at his sides he wad much taller than the other soldiers he was a champion after all, he stood at a height of 6'6" and placed his hand on his sword that was connected to his waist, he learned two things from his life, there are sheep that wait for their demise and there are wolves, and wolves never show mercy to their prey. He cracked his neck on both sides, he charged onto the battle field engaging in combat as he slaughtered the grunts that were defending the wall, he caught his eye onto a more 'feminine' body that wore armor,it was warmonger.
He made his way to the other champion, his chest armor was covered in the enemy's blood, he looked at the other champion,"
Greetings,Warmonger." He said in a cold tone as he looked around the battlefield, though he wasn't told much of this assignment surprisingly maybe she had some answers?
"Do you know why, we are doing this?"

he was curious and wanted to know a little more about this attack though he didn't mind doing this it was pretty fun.

Sophia, City of Vale

As Tohru began writhing in pain, Sophia took the quickest look backwards to see what was going on, before looking back to the Grimm she had been pounding into the ground. Though, as she fought, she'd note the red and black flames surrounding the tie-wearing jailbird. Sophie thought perhaps he had a weapon like hers! Pithos came with flames as well, albeit blue flames, though she wondered if the colors signify something. No matter. Once Adachi sang out a reccomendation for the others to watch his actions, Sophia (having taken it literally) would reply:

9AB82BCA-8350-4D85-AF18-474F5594E9C5.png"I cannot watch as of right now, I'm eliminating the threats."

Speaking of eliminating the threats... Sophia threw out both of her yo-yos to two of the wolf-like Grimm, one yo-yo wrapping around each one. She had been using the weapons as lassoes of sorts, pulling on the yo-yos' strings to tighten the grasp around the wolves. The dark canines tried to break through the strings of the weapons, but to no avail.

Pithos, having been firing beams and spheres of light towards enemies, returned to Sophia, two pairs of two blocks each circling above her before a blue aura emanated from the wrapped-up Grimm. It turns out that the block-like pairs have casted Rakunda on each Beowolf, essentially lowering their defense and leading to them taking more damage.

While Magatsu-Izanagi came for the other Grimm, this made Sophia feel even more positive about her prior observation... the one regarding Sophia and Adachi having the same "weapons". It was able to fight similarily to Pithos, acting as a sort of hitman for the jailbird. Though, Sophia herself did use Pithos in different ways, she was confident that Pithos and Magatsu-Izanagi were the same somehow. She'll have to consult Adachi about this when this is over!

1EE00DB6-7884-4FBD-95AF-E15506D44C45.png"There is no mess to clean. Only enemies."

Sophia then replied to Tohru, having once again taken his remark literally.

It grew harder for Sophia to keep the Beowolves at bay, as a couple more came closer. Beneath her mask, she was troubled at most. Pithos would group together, casting Bless Boost fairly quickly, which'd strengthen her Bless attacks for just the right amount of time. While Sophia had been planning to wipe out the original, tied-up duo of Beowolves as a warning, it seems that wasn't going to work out... so she'll have to make do with what she's got.

With both simultaneous pulls on the yo-yos, they'd unwrap from the Grimm and quickly retract back to her. Pithos would glow softly, before casting Makouha on all four of them. It seemed to have beat down the chunk of Grimm a good amount, but the fight with them hadn't been over yet. Sophia hopped upwards, two of the blocks making up Pithos quickly flying below her feet to catch her, as she now stood upon the half of Pithos. The other two blocks floated behind her, as she nodded to reassure herself: she's got this.

As Sr., along with Jr., began cleaning up their own batch, she began to realize... these humans were not like any others, weren't they? Sophia should have realized when Tohru summoned his "weapon", but now that she's really taking it into account... these humans are special. Even more reason to protect them, after all.

The yo-yo in her left hand disappearing in a burst of blue flames, it'd be just as quickly replaced with what seemed to be a small ray gun... could it really pack a punch, or was it just a toy? The answer was the former, thankfully.

The two blocks supporting Sophia's weight then soared down, closer to the ground, whizzing past the group of Beowolves. It'd repeat this action, seeming to swing up and down as if it were a toy at a playground. The blocks not carrying Sophia would fire beams of light at the Grimm. Then, as Sophia swinged down upon the other half of Pithos, she'd whack the wolves with the one yo-yo at one point, then shoot the ray gun at the next point. She managed to keep her balance whilst doing so too. After a few repetitions of this, she had wiped four of the many Grimm out.

Reaching the bottom once more, she'd hop off, replacing the ray gun with a yo-yo once more. Seems she's hopped off just in time for the masked Jr. to turn to her. As she swung her yo-yos at another Grimm, she'd listen closely to him, stopping for a moment. The mask covering her eyes came off (not the hood, though), as she looked down.

7136F816-2F84-4758-A98C-1136A9BF2BE7.png"Friends... we are friends? But, either way, as humanity's companion, it is my duty to protect, not be prote-"

BAM! She was swept to the side by the claw of a Beowolf, having been distracted by a simple statement! Sophia would have slammed into the side of one of the buildings, had Pithos not whizzed behind her and caught her. The four blocks plopping her down, the previously off-guard Sophia shook her head, deciding to dismiss the thought for now.

7D39688F-5453-4210-9965-57B0DFE0F762.png("It can be discussed later.")

Sophia mused, her gaze falling on the very Beowolf who had come back to attempt to finish her off. She ran towards the Grimm, as it charged for her itself. Pithos came up in front of her, each block escalating upwards and acting as stairs for her. One, two, three, four. Sophia stepped on each one, jumping upwards before landing on the neck of the Grimm. The Beowolf tried to shake her off, but Sophia wasn't ready to go down yet!

She'd once more wrap the yo-yos around the Grimm, this time aiming for its neck. Successfully doing so, Sophia would pull as hard as she could, before the Grimm dropped to the floor, choked out and limp, and now disintegrated. The AI unwrapped the strings of the yo-yos, before hopping upwards and off the Beowolf.

She heard the small Wahnabe's warning, along with the whistle. Pithos hurriedly picked her up with all of its blocky being (or the four blocks making up its being), rushing the AI away just in time. Once the bright light was gone, along with the mushroom-like cloud, Sophia was put down, as she then continued to ward off the remaining Grimm along with Pithos.

Once the coast was clear of Grimm, none incoming, Sophia turned to Fireteam Martingale's members, smiling at them. She seemed a little roughed up, but otherwise fine. It's nothing a Dia couldn't fix.

F4B1B588-CACE-4AD9-BD0B-0FA83E874EF1.png"I did not intend to assist you, rather these three humans I had been with... but you're welcome."

Pithos would glow a soft green, before a light blue aura surrounded Sophia for a few seconds. Her "roughed-upness" seemed to be gone as soon as the aura disappeared, Pithos no longer glowing.

With a burst of blue flames, Sophia was back to her normal form. Her hood was off, the one ponytail of floating hearts returned to two batches of seven hearts, her gloves were gone, and her boots once more were below her knees rather than up to her thighs. The four blocks making up Pithos had disappeared as well.

Nodding towards Grey, Sophia would then reply chipperly:

C87A4D72-02F9-4DFD-8757-9AD4B3202FCD.png"Yes, very new. We all seem to be unaware of our surroundings. The navigation of this city is the one thing I cannot assist them with as of right now."

As the battle had continued raging on... and as more blood continued to be shed at the front of the fort, one may wonder... where was the commander... and where was her and all her glory. After all, this was a battle... definitely one worthy for her to join... fighters of different skill sets and especially worlds for a select few was something to not miss out upon and focus. And in grave times of need, a army needed a strong source of morale in order to maintain position and not break away to retreat... give them the fighting spirit to continue the fight and even charge headfirst into death itself if loyal enough to their leader, but instead, while the Defenders were instead focused upon the battle at hand, that was nothing but a small fragment, a small distraction.

After all... sending only a small attack force with two siege machines was not how one takes over a fort, especially one with multiple layers of walls that clearly needed more to get into... especially if an enemy fort was not only one of high value, but also the ‘Outsiders’ aiding the enemy in their efforts. This was battlefield was like a ‘stage’ and this was merely the ‘opening act’ to the ‘show’... as the true and main performance was yet to pop up yet. Within the very sewer system of the city... it is what one would expect of such a place, a dirty stone walled system carrying waste water, although not as advance as modern sewer systems, but still completes the job.

However... there seemed to be slivers of light... multiple in fact as the splashing of water could be heard, and it was difficult at first to see at first who were holding these lights within their grasp... but then, it was later revealed to be as none other than the Warmonger herself, commander of the attack upon the fort, preparing to strike the fort from inside and take out the Commander while the rest of her forces distracted those at the front. Right now, she was with the strongest and most capable of her men... 1,270 soldiers of her strongest walking through the sewers in different paths to strike the city in different locations, with the Warmonger’s currently group being the least populated, yet the most elite and specifically chosen by her to carve a path directly to the commander as the rest destroy the city from inside and attack strategic locations. There were 6 of them... 4 if one were not to include the champion Warmonger herself and the champion Warden. Within the group were the Shinobi and Lawbringer, the Raider was decided to focus his efforts upon the front instead in order to give off a bigger idea that they were focusing on the front and more reinforcements would ‘arrive’... just not in the way one would expect them to. But the other two with them were rather strange... for they were not any form of known Heroes to the rest of the land, instead, being two new types of Heroes ready to prove their worth was a part of Horkos’s forces.

    D7DF6CA2-D64A-4C63-B9A7-D6D4E1C2EBC8.jpeg

For now, their abilities and skills would remain unknown, other for their titles... the first being that of an Cataphract... and the other, being known as the Ashigaru... and they were currently walking behind the Warmonger, no words being exchanged between any of them as they silently prepared for the situation at hand, ready to die for the leader as necessary in order to win.

But, it was then the nearby champion, a chosen Warden fighting for Horkos... had approached her and then attempted to ask for a reasoning behind their assault on the fort. The Warmonger stopped in her tracks, her fellow soldiers had stopped as well as she merely turned her head to the side to converse with the Warden, as she then said in a equally cold and neutral voice.

“Tell me... when you look upon this fort... what do you see. You may see a bastion... a city with walls... another source of resources and territory to continue our assault against the Chimera Alliance. But what I see... is nothing but a butcher house... completely filled with pitiful sheep... and amongst those sheep, are Wolves... beasts under the control of these sheep and used to fight against us. I merely want to awaken the beast within them... to bring truth to their eyes... and join us... while the fate of these sheep are to be slaughtered with no mercy.... and that is why we are here Warden. To awaken the strong and kill the weak who attempt to throw away their lives just so that their own can survive... that is my answer...”

And without another word, the Warmonger continued on, her soldiers following suit, as they were closing in one of the exits of the sewers and an potential entrance to the ‘slaughter house’. But while they may get the surprise upon the enemy... it wouldn’t last long... and perhaps they have forced of their own which may prove to be a hassle, but within a satchel hanging off from her side... it seemed to glow in a dark red color for a second... clearly something not normal hidden within, and possibly, different nature altogether.

    Scene Change

At the front of the battle once more... one of the Knights was blown away by a gust of wind aimed at him by Morro, his Grenade from earlier being blown out before its effect can take place. The Knight of course... landed upon his back, the force of the wind and blunt trauma that occurred to the man had suffered made him temporarily out of the fight, coughing to himself as he was ignored for some time later... leaving the ghost to fly in the air, many of the basic grunts who say the man flew off earlier tracked his movement by maintain eye contact with the ghostly figure... before seeing him land onto the very thing they needed protect, the Ram.

Some of the soldiers had shouted out to the others of this... and already they had needed to act soon or this individual may very well threaten to destroy the entire plan, as some rather brave individuals went to the side of the ram, before actually making the motion to begin climbing it, wanting to fight the individual at the top albeit with some difficulty, while nearby, a few orange soldiers that were wielding bows instead of swords or spears took notice and aimed their weapons into the air, before letting off a volley of arrows towards Morro, and while some definitely missed with their trajectory, some, unless blocked, would have found their mark on less vital areas such as the arms or legs.

Back with the other unnamed Warden, clearly, this small duel’s end resulted was chosen from the beginning, the man with a blade that was barely longer than that of a Kensei’s blade, although thinner, was clearly more stronger than him, and the Warden struggled to even get a hit on the Outsider. But then, he was knocked out by a fast flying object from outside of his view, knocking the soldier out for the count for a couple of hours... the main Outsider then focusing on the soldiers protecting the ram once again, and calmly walking towards it, his blade dispatching and cutting through even the well made metal plates of the soldiers. Clearly, they were outmatched by a long shot, but that didn’t stop them nor dissuade them from attacking, as the soldiers still fought with brutality, some foolishly charging to their deaths.... or others staying back with the ram in order to protect it.

It was clear that they weren’t gonna move from their spots... and would mob the individual with sheer numbers alone if they tried to push past the soldiers. Elsewhere, on the very walls itself, the tide of battle was being changed, as the attackers were being pushed back from the walls, the defenders joining in the assault as they fought back, as ice, magic, and steel was thrown into the battle, soldiers either being knocked out either unconsciously or unable to continue fighting... while the most fatalities were dealt by the now charging defenders on top of the wall, stabbing their foes in vital areas, hacking and slashing, and even throwing some of their foes off the wall and to their death to the ground below. Of course, the Defenders still suffered casualties even with the aid from the Outsiders... mostly upon their part as they continued their reckless yet effect counter-attack that was pushing the enemy back to their siege tower.

    Scene change

Back to the perspective of the Slayer... his presence was mostly ignored in favor of staying with the objective... but a few did break away, mostly the Attackers to strike at an potential foe... only to fall to his blade the same. It wasn’t even considered a ‘battle’ to the eyes of this man... merely another slaughtering but instead of the Demonic forces of hell being killed, it was instead... replaced by his fellow men of the olden ages. But as the Slayer continued his lone March towards the siege tower, some of the orange armored soldiers had took notice of his approaching form, as they knew that the force of death itself was approaching... and they could only delay the inevitable, as the soldiers gotten into rank, side by side, as they got ready for the ‘Outsider’ who clearly slaughtered all that remained his path... whether it would be Horkos soldier or fort defender. But before he could get far... a large object had crashed into him, and while it wasn’t the strength similar to that of an Hell Knight or Baron of Hell, it still managed to knock the Doom Slayer a few feet back, and once he turned to face what force that had managed to push the Doom Slayer back... he was definitely met with an individual who didn’t fit the knightly and armored appearance as the rest of the soldiers.... one that seemed to be more of a historically inaccurate ‘Viking’ than Knight.

    D5C5DD8C-A128-41C0-9EEA-102344DE18C7.jpeg
“Ég mun njóta þess að rífa þig í tætlur og halda hjálminum sem bikar...”

The man said in a clearly different language than the English or Latin the knights said, a language known none other as Icelandic... but that wasn’t the main concern, the true thing to worry about is the warrior was that he seemed to have his fair of experience, battle scars upon his form, as well as a savage and fury filled glare of his own... and while it does not carry the same strength of the Doom Slayer... it still belonged to an human that was not of the same strength of his fellow brethren. Without warning, the Viking charged forth, and with it, he attempted an seemingly reckless swing, his arms at the side as he ‘attempted’ to slice at the Doom Slayer from his left side... only to change that trajectory as he performed a small ho instead, his axe raised into the air like it was a mere paper sword and the Raider brought down the pommel and attempted to hit the Doom Slayer on the head with it, as he yelled out.

    “Þú ert dauður!”

And now, the battle truly begun.

Wanda

As she kept making her way to the ram, blasting those who attempted to fight her. She grabbed it with her Psonic Powers, with Morro still on it

"GET OFF THAT THING, NOW!!!!"

Morro seemed to have hear her, because as the oislders started to climb the ramp, he flew off, again into the sky, a small vortex of wind surrounding him. As they all seemed to be focused of Morro, Wanda's eyes glowed red as he started to lift it into the sky. Sweating a bit as red energy surrounded the machines she finally let out the power in a burst of energy, sending it in the opposite direction of the fort. With an Althight crash, itpillowed through the ranks of the enemy soldiers, making a clear cut through them, diving them in half. Wanda was sweating. It had been a while since she had controlled things of that size... and it was certainly Massive.

Slowly getting up on her feat, she looked around the battle field. Morro was safe, and was fighting of more soldiers now, his wind cyclone protecting him as he mercilessly cut through them, the ghastly blades making quick work. Sephiroth was about 10 feet from her, easily cutting through the enemy ranks. Gyro was charging right at the soldiers, and cut though a wave of them with one of his "Golden spin"

Wait a second... were her powers malfunctioning. Hitting herself on the head once and blinking she refocused. She was sensing... people down below the city??? Why would there be soldiers there unless..... those weren't friendly soldiers.

Running towards Sephiroth, he quickly blasted the solider away from him, and when he turned to her, she said

"Theres people under the city-"

"What???"

"Im telling you, there is... well, a lot of soldiers marching through there! I can sense them"

"It makes sense... this was to easy of an assult on this large a fortress. Listen, can you.. make a way there?"

"I can try-"

"Good. We need to change up our strategy. Send Gyro to the Warden to protect him, and send Percy down here. You and Elsa stay in the City, and Morro keeps fighting on the battlefield"

"Seems fine enough... but what about you?"

"Ill take down the strike force down there- now we need to get to Gyro."

Sephiroth

The news wasn't that much of a suprise- after all, Sephiroth had been expecting some kind of sneak attack. Well, at least they knew where now. They had already told Gyro, and he had zoomed of into the castle, pushing Valkyrie to the max. Gyro had told the plan, Percy, and Percy was now on the battlefield.

As they got closer to where Wanda said the soldiers were, Wanda seemingly stumbled, Sephiroth was about to catch her, but before he could, Wanda said something that chilled him

"Th-theres more of them."

"What???"

"Im sensing..... 2 or Three more groups"

Sephiroth would have bitten of a curse if he could... things were bad.

"Well... I'm going to make the path now..."

As Wanda said this, Sephiroth stepped back. He didn't want to be in way of her while she worked... things would be painful for him if he got hit

As he looked at her, Wandas face was folded in consecration as a part of the street began to rumble, and a good chance of the read was taken of , leading to the sewers. Wanda seemed to struggle for a moment, but let the chuck drop safely on a abandoned house. well, at least Sephiroth had his way in. Turning to Wanda, Sephiroth gave her a few orders.

"You and Elsa block ever single sewer entrance you can find, and do them all, I don't care what you do to block them, as long as the enemy can't get in.

"Got it- by the way, the soldiers are to your left"

Nodding at her, Sephiroth jumped down into the sewers. These ones weren't quite wet however, but they were thin and Narrow. Perfect place for Sephiroth to ambush them. Running swiftly but Quietly, Sephiroth went to ambush the attackers.

A few minutes later, as Sephiroth finally caught up with a group, they didn't seem to notice him, except for one solider, who screamed out loud. Well, it was time for some Materia. As more and more heads turned to the Outsider, Sephiroth merely smirked as he held out hi free hand, with something shaping itself on it. It first was small and red, pulsing with energy. Next can the blue form, larger, seemingly more Dangerous. More and more heads were turned towards the Outsider, and when the thing in his hand condensed into something even smaller then the red orb, but dangerous, malicious. As the first solider started to charge at him, Sephiroth released the small orb, which flew rapidly towards them.

Before they even had time to react to the orb, it suddenly exploded, showering them with light. The closest soldiers were incinerated, approximately 10 of them. The blast created a circular area in the underground Sewers. As the remainly heads turned towards him, Sephiroth was already charging them, slashing swiftly and with ease. He couldn't use the Masamuse to its full advantage, as the sewers were to small, but the blade was long enough that it would be enough to end them.

Gyro
As Gyro rode of Valkyrie, he headed for the walls, and told Percy of the change in plans. Percy had taken it surprising well, and simply nodded. Well good. The kid was tough, and he was fine lad, or whatever.

He rode on towards the circular arena place, where the Commander was. A few minutes later, he found himself right at the Arena- like place. Not even bothering to get of his horse, he went Inside surprising a few of the soilders

"Sorry for the intrusion, but there is bad news. The Orange plated people are under the city, most likely to to attack. Sephiroth sent me to protect you, and he is currently fighting of the soldiers underneath. Wanda and Elsa be sealing of all entrances to the city, including the sewers. Percy and Morro are still at the battlefield, finishing of the remaining soldiers. And no, I will not get of my horse"

Gyro looked at the Commander for his reaction

3rd POV- All of the Battlefield

As Sephiroth and Wanda warned Gyro, the cowboy could be seen leaving the battlefield, headed right for the center area.

Most of the solider would likely feel relived that 3 of the outsiders had left, but another one joined the party, a boy with Black hair and Sea-Green eyes. Firstly though, the boy could be seen taking out the siege weapon, and cutting down the ladders, which seemed to take a bit, before joining the ghost in its fight. The few blue solider not yet dead helped then, inspired by the Outsiders....

The ghost seemed to have taken on to many foes however, and was in the middle of the conflict

Meanwhile, the two "witch" outsiders are closing of any entrance that isn't the main fort door, frosting over Sewers and any thing that could be used to get into the City

However, as the siege continues, many more things will happen unexpectedly, and who knows of the consequences? Only time will tell......

It was an unexpected thrill, for sure.

It had been a long while since Adachi really got to let loose. He definitely didn't plan on making a habit out of it; it's way too hard, and it takes way too much energy - but he found that he was actually kind of enjoying himself. He was surprised that the people he just met were still here, too - honestly, he expected them to take their chance and run once there was an opening. Then again, that's one thing in common with kids these days, Adachi thought, furrowing his brow. They all really love sticking their nose into danger, especially when it doesn't concern them.

Today was a school day for him, too. He didn't think it was possible to call his Persona in the real world, but given how dire things looked back there, he supposed it kind of made sense. Something about taking up some kind of resolution in his heart, or reawakening in the face of danger or some other crap. Who really knew how these things worked, anyway?

Speaking of Personas, something about Sophia's power piqued Adachi's interest. The power itself was foreign to him - the blocks she was using to fight with were something he'd never seen before, and he was totally unfamiliar with pretty much everything else she was doing, too. But... the way those blue flames engulfed her earlier. That was something he'd seen before; when the so-called Investigation Team were using their Personas against him.

It didn't really bother him - nothing would really change either way. More than likely, it was just another crazy superpower, but it might be kind of entertaining to hear what she has to say if he asked her later.

The Wahnabes were getting in on the action, too. From the look of it, it wasn't their first fight. Not surprising - after all, usually, you're either smart or strong, and neither of these blockheads struck him as the studious type.

Still, both had a pretty fine rush. The dad, in particular, caught his attention, literally ripping the monsters limb-from-limb, lifting them, throwing them, and punching them like it was nobody's business. Adachi caught one of his feats out of the corner of his eye while he was fending off the Grimm in the centre - breaking its spine on his knee. Oof. Better not screw with him.

"Impressive. I'm surprised you can move that quick," Adachi said, one of his usual wide smiles growing on his face. He didn't offer him much more than a glance, though - he had bigger fish to fry.

The kid, though... after opening fire with a few trinkets from his arsenal, he started rambling about working with "friends", and relying on them to protect each other. Oh, brother, thought Adachi. It looked like no matter where he was or what he was doing, he just wasn't going to escape that same old shallow lecture. Whether Narukami or this kid, it was just as dumbfounding.

Sure, Adachi didn't think they were totally useless, like he did last year. But, seriously... how the hell can he act like he knows them all enough to call them "friends" when they only just learned each other's names? Pipe down a little.

After a little while of more of the same - holding off the neverending horde of monsters, doing his bit to take him down with Magatsu-Izanagi along with his impromptu squad, he heard the kid bellow a warning, followed by a not exactly comforting whistling noise. Unfortunately, Adachi didn't count on the fact that he was firing a miniature atomic bomb, and realised where it was being fired just a little bit too late.

He still made it out of immediate danger, but in the rush, he ran into a Grimm he wasn't expecting and was promptly swatted away with their mighty, tree-trunk arms. Skidding to a halt with the help of Magatsu-Izanagi planting its naginata into the ground, slicing it open as he came to a stop, Adachi prepared to strike back at the cocky bastard. He was okay - he was sturdier than he looked, Heat Riser had increased his durability, and Magatsu-Izanagi gave him an increased resistance to physical attacks - but a hit was a hit.

Hoping to bait the beast into a charge, Adachi's sour expression changed into one of his more common playful smiles, holding his arms out in a "come get me" stance as he backpedalled away from it. Sure enough, the Grimm bought it, and with a fearsome roar, it began to stampede towards the ex-police dick.

Seizing the opportunity, Adachi crushed another Arcana card that materialised in his hand and Magatsu-Izanagi materialised once more, emanating a bright-green aura as extremely harsh winds began to pick up, forcing the Grimm backwards as it dug its huge claws into the ground. Focusing, Adachi took control of his Persona and had it cast Garudyne.

Blitzing straight towards the beast, meeting it head-on, the wind had intensified to the force of a Herculean cyclone, shooting the Grimm straight into the air with brutal ripping force. Magatsu-Izanagi struck the Grimm with a barrage of breakneck-fast attacks with its naginata while in this state, before finally appearing right above it while it was still suspended to cast Vorpal Blade, crashing down on the Grimm and slicing it in two before it reached the ground, softened up from the previous blows.

Magatsu-Izanagi landed with yet another electrical rip through the atmosphere, causing another ferocious shockwave, but at this point, there weren't many Grimm left alive to bear the blow. He and the rest had taken out more than their share, and the bomb that kid set off managed to collapse the hole that most of the reinforcements were coming from, meaning the rest of them were soon mopped up.

He hated to admit it... but they were kind of good at this.

"That's it, huh? Just when it was getting fun! Well, it managed to kill some time. Though I was worried you guys might step on my feet..." Adachi teased, snickering under his breath. Magatsu-Izanagi stabbed the ground with its naginata, seemingly satisfied, as Adachi called it back within himself - fading away in a red mist.

The trio who stepped in earlier turned to their reinforcements, having gotten what they came here for. The armoured figure thanked them for their help - pretty much the response Adachi was expecting - but the hood-wearing girl's reaction was priceless.

"We were fine before you arrived, thank you," she scoffed. "Your help was unneeded."

Adachi just couldn't take her seriously - especially not her annoyed look through her stupid hood. She just looked like a pouting kid, and Adachi couldn't restrain himself from laughing right in her face, holding his head in his hand for a second or two to regain his composure.

"Ahahahaha! Oh, man, you do not look happy! What's the matter? Pissed we stole the show?" Adachi taunted, a wry smile appearing on his face as he shrugged, briefly motioning towards her with one hand.

"Well, maybe if you were as good as you think you are, we wouldn't have needed to step in and save our own asses once we got cornered. Or, maybe you could've saved the lives of some of those other poor bystanders that couldn't make it. Don't worry. I'm sure their families'll understand that you're actually really good at this, honest! Maybe next time, right? Hahaha...!"

Maybe he was going a little far, but Adachi genuinely thought her reaction was hilarious. Not only that, but he hated the notion that this bitch could seriously say they didn't need any help when people died on their watch. Sounded to him like they weren't doing their job properly. Maybe that'd teach her a lesson about showboating.

He didn't say anything else. Sophia had already said pretty much everything that needed to be said - he had to give her credit where it was due, she was definitely on the ball. He stood back, an ironic smile on his face, and waited for the trio to speak in turn.

King Louie
Location: Louie's Place, Exodus (South)

The guests on the terrace overlooking the jungle would be the first to encounter the ravenous reptile but for now, completely unaware of the looming threat, they continued in their revelry and merry-making. The majority appeared to be dining with friends, enjoying a meal on one of the many outside tables, as they were dutifully waited on by members of the Bandar-log, whilst others were taking in the sights of the ocean and jungle below.

Two of Louie's patrons who were standing near the railings were the first to go. Drinks in hand, they were enjoying a scenic view of the island when a long disgusting tongue dragged one of them swiftly over the side. The speed of the attack left the other one completely oblivious until he turned to where his female companion previously stood only to find it empty. He did a quick double take, unsure whether his alcohol dulled senses were playing tricks on him, before he too was yanked over the side.

Louie looked up from his desk as the alarm calls of the Bandar-log erupted from the terrace. His lieutenant Flunky, a long-tailed macaque, burst into the office in short order and, in frantic chatter, informed the King of the Swingers of a skull faced monster assailing the club. Louie let out an enraged roar as he heaved himself to his feet and followed Flunky into the lounge. The Jungle V.I.P. could see the panic-stricken guests vacating the premises in droves, barrelling over each other as they fought to escape through either the main entrance towards the pier or the back door towards the beach.

Louie and Flunky continued out onto the terrace and he could see the deadly creature now. It was large in size, bigger than bear but still dwarfed by Louie himself, and looked like a skeletal cross between a tiger and a snake. It had a narrow skull like head seated on top of its long serpentine body but unlike a tiger however, the creature possessed only two slender limbs, that ended with three long claws, to carry it across the floor. The beast tasted the air as it moved from table to table, devouring anything it could get its hands on.

Louie let out a powerful prolonged roar that reverberated across the club. Everyone who heard it would stop in their tracks and look upon the King of the Bandar-log with a mix of awe and fear. This was his house, his business, his kingdom and he would not let some snarling beast threaten it.

As the hideous creature climbed up the metallic surface, it would finally smell the various scents that identified the patrons inside. It drooled a thick coat of mucousy saliva in heavy anticipation as its long tongue rapidly flickered in and out in succession. So many little morsels, all just waiting to end up inside its starving belly. And the fact that they were all oblivious to its presence would make this all the easier for it. They practically cut out most of the work for it.

Excellent.

Sensing two beings right above it, it swiftly proceeded to launch its attack, opening its jaws as its prehensile tongue swiftly dragged one of the patrons from over the side. The helpless captive had little time to scream before it was dragged into the creature's mouth with a sickening snap. Quick and effective; and the other victim above it had no idea what just transpired. It too would quickly look over to see the hideous beast, only to be quickly yanked from the railing and gobbled up by the ravenous reptilian menace as well. That's when it finally revealed launched its offensive; hurdling itself over the platform and releasing a hideous raspy squeal that officially made its presence known to the terrified crowd.

This was merely an entree; now it was time to enter the main course.

The creature didn't have long before reinforcements would arrive, seeing as it could hear panicked primate calls that set off a chain-reaction of alarms. It had to be quick to gobble up as many tourists as it could, before retreating back into the dark bush from whence it came. It would leave not one go to waste! One by one, patrons would find themselves being slowly digested alive within the belly of the beast, whether they be of primate or human descent. Yet even filling it's belly with live prey, the two-armed menace couldn't help itself to be a little lazy - or perhaps greedy - in its chaotic approach. Some of the cooked meats presented on the tables looked and smelled quite irresistible. It couldn't help but to wrap its tongue on a whole cooked bird here, and a whole roasted hog there; there were just so many different exotics meats to choose! Who would dare try and stop it if this was as much resistance as it would be?

And as it lavished in its gluttonous affairs, the beast would pause as a thunderous roar echoed throughout the room. It's stained snout rose from the table and faced a now wrathful King Louie who'd just entered the room. The creature snarled angrily as it slowly turned its full body to face the large ginger-haired ape. How dare it disturbed his free and easy buffet! And worse, he reminded it of yet another similarly shaped ape... one that it loathed with all of its blackened heart. This ape was not Him... but it was something similar enough to it. What would its fellow brothers and sisters say when it came back home with his bloodied hide wrapped around its reptilian body. It's mind raced with all the potential possibilities!

Yet now was no time to think about the future; now it was time to make it a reality! The skulled head opened with a gnarled cry towards Louie, revealing its arsenal of serrated teeth covered with raw and cooked flesh alike alongside sprinkles of fur tuffs as grotesque garnishes. It was ready to pounce. Yet there was something else within that mouth the Bandar-log king seemed to notice. The roof of its mouth seemed to have something of a mind of its own, as if it was connected loosely by a mass of living parts.

But before King Louie could attempt to connect the dots, he would spot a dark figure swoosh by from just beyond the club's entrance. The reptilian invader failed to notice the object at first, until it felt something violently pull on its tail. Its eyes widened as it felt its entire body being pulled back out of the building. It yelped wildly as its claws attempted to cling onto the metal floor, but to no avail. The force exerted was simply just too strong. In just seconds the beast was yanked clean from the deck as it plummeted to the ground below with a panicked cry.

If King Louie and his patrons were to look down from the club to follow the downed beast, all they would see is the harsh rustling of trees and foliage below. The reptilian's struggled squeals would certainly be heard, only to be overshadowed by deep tremendous bellows coming from a much different beast entirely. Their struggle lasted for a brief minute before the club would be treated to the sight of the two-armed beast being tossed into the air above the canopy line straight onto the sandy beach with a mighty thud. Dazed and confused, the skull-beast struggled to get back up, where it would finally bear witness to a very familiar figure.

Emerging from the thick bush, a large dark-skinned bearded man planted his feet upon the sandy coastline as he walked towards the scaly pest. He was of boxy yet muscular structure, with fainted battle scars and seared chalk-white tribal marks coated across his body. He wore nothing but a dark maroon knee-high tunic that wrapped around his waist. His grizzled face - adorned with a sizable beard - lain his dark hazel-colored eyes upon the beast in a vengeful manner. It was clear that the two had history with one another; a clearly violent one at that. The reptilian abomination hissed in livid discontent before issuing a guttural snarl. Yet as it did so, its entire upper bone-white jaw began to unhinge in an ungodly manner. It dislocated in three separate ligaments before it begun to raise upwards at an unnatural 90 degree angle, revealing a separate entity that morphed into shape.

The result of such a grotesque transmutation was the upper torso of a pale-skinned caucasian woman. She sported no additional limbs of her own - no arms or legs to speak of aside from what she already possessed - with only a head with venomous eyes that glared at the man with vile hatred atop a twisted centaur-like form.

"DEMON!" the fiend screamed with intense malice as she bore her sharp human teeth. The tribal figure said nothing as he began walking forth with solid purpose unfazed by her spat. Intimidated yet unwilling to run, the woman screeched before making a wild mad-dash towards him, as if she was making a desperate last stand. Yet as she lunged, she would be met with an expecting dark hand that grasped her throat with relentless tension, lifting her off the ground and in the air. The man's gaze only strengthened, his brow silently focusing upon the scaly creature's own. Choking and sputtering in place, the woman attempted to squirm away, but with no affect as the grip began growing tighter and tighter around her neck. "WE WILL S-SKIN YOU ALIVE!" the ferocious captive sputtered in between each struggling breath, "MARK MY... WORDS! YOU WILL NEVER WIN AGAINST ALL OF US! WE WILL KILL YOU, AS WE DID YOUR~!"

Already having enough of her theatrics, his grasp shifted as he swiftly snapped the neck of the struggling beast, finally putting her out of her miserable existence. The man then tossed aside the limp figure, briefly glancing at her lifeless corpse splayed across the pristine sands. Her fate was far more merciful compared to the others that the great King Makata Kong had killed before. Her kind deserved a suffering and torturous demise for what they've done. With the deed now done, Kong proceeded to grasp the creature's long tail. With all his might, he swung her around several times before launching it into the sea, where it would become food for the hungry fish that lurked beneath the surface.

That was one down... but that didn't mean it was time to celebrate. To Kong, there was always more to this case than what meets the untrained eye. And this he knew this better than anyone in the Southern Island Chain of Exodus.

He had awoken. There was something very wrong,he could only faintly feel the touch of his master ,the Lord of the Hunt. And to make matters worse he could feel his power and his very being...waning. For the first time in millennium he felt panic, but that panic quickly morphed into a predatory grin. As he felt something very Very familiar, pulling his ethereal being through the much less chaotic version of the warp and let out a bloody howl as he spawned himself.......on top of the siege tower. Russ's grin widened as he saw man fighting man, brother fighting brother,a little too small for his twisted taste. Although he was in no room to complain,so he descended upon the armies of man. For nothing but slaughter in his mind,he needed all the offerings he could get.

As he landed onto the soft earth with a loud boom, soldiers that were once there. Now turned into nothing but red paste,he simply stood there for a moment as all those around him began to fight in a frenzy. His very presence driving the weak willed around him utterly mad, Not that he really cared. After all,if he wanted to sustain himself....things needed to start with a bang. Leman without wasting a single second more, revved his trusted frost axe,it's whirling teeth cutting through men like mere paper as russ swinged his mighty axe.

The Brass Wolf burst into malicious laughter as he plowed through the lines of both attacker and defender, slashing, stomping, and other such methods as everyone fought without a sign of stopping

As the Doom Slayer began slicing his way towards the siege tower, his approach would be interrupted by a rogue warrior slamming into him from his right. The force interrupted his pace, pushing him back a few feet back, however it did little to actually deter him. The armored marine glanced up to see a large minimally-clad helmeted warrior glaring down upon him with rage bellowing in his eyes. This brute of a man vaguely reminded the Slayer of several Night Sentinel warriors that he fought in gladiatorial rings during his time as one of Argenta's knights, as massive brutes wielding axes and shields in combat. He had fought and won countless of training matches against them; so seeing a man dealing only half the force that he was used to was nothing to him in comparison. Still he had to be careful.

The helmeted warrior soon charged at the Slayer and issued a wide swing of his axe to his left. The marine swiftly rose his blades just in time for the axe swing to change direction and descend from above, crossing them together to block the incoming strike. Sparks briefly flew out from the impact as the Slayer repelled the attack and kicked the viking back a few feet back towards the castle walls. He stomped towards him with steadfast resolve and was about to plunge his doomblades into his opponent's chest cavity with a quick dash forward... before something else grabbed his immediate attention.

Cruel maniacal laughter echoed across the battlefield, announcing the presence of something truly chaotic coming into the fold. The Slayer glared towards the open plains to see a truly massive figure - some 9 feet tall - resembling a hellish wolf, clad in bloodied metallic body armor and wielding a truly massive axe that far dwarfed the poor viking warrior's own. The Slayer's eyes widened upon glancing at him. But it was not out of fear, no. He felt a rush of adrenaline-fueled of excited rage coursing through his veins.

At last! A demon! And a big demon at that!

Now completely ignoring the viking warrior, the Slayer sheathed his wrist blade as he rushed towards the demonic wolf-creature with haste. To Hell with the viking guy, this demonic threat was much more his speed. He knew that his blades weren't going to quickly take down this thing. In fact, it was about time he revealed the big guns. Half-way towards his target, the armored hell-walker took out a silver-plated rocket launcher and leapt into the air with sheer force. As he ascended into a sky like an armored angel amiss the bloody battle, he focused his Paingiver to lock on upon Russ' form and unleashed a volley of three rockets straight at him. And as he descended, he once again revealed his wrist-blades and readied to plunge them deep into the Space Wolf's hideous head.

Both Alpha Predators collided with one another with titanic force as their scaly bodies wrestled against one another, both too busy to notice or otherwise care regarding Mythra's arrival.

The horned beast was strong, but it was finding itself being pushed back by his opponent's sheer bulk. He bore his fangs with a snarl before plunging them into Nautica's left shoulder, being barely able to pierce her thick hide. Nautica bellowed angrily as she shifted her weight to the opposite side, raising her opposite hand and plunging it down on the Deathclaw's head. Despite a massive force plunging down upon his cranium, the alpha male still wasn't willing to let go. With the same hand Nautica quickly grabbed one of the creature's horns, trying to yank him off as she twirled in place. Eventually, she plunged her weight downwards and forced the deathclaw to the ground, squashing him underneath her enormous bulk. The male beast yelped in agony as his upper body was being crushed under several tons of blunt force before finally gaining the strength to lurch itself free.

Nautica growled as she got to her feet. However just as she was ready to reengage, the alpha deathclaw was quick to unleash a powerful upper swipe at her head, causing the spined saurian to momentarily stagger. The alpha quickly took advantage of the opening, leaping into the air and lunging his full power upon Nautica's own. He dug his sickle-toed claws into the opponent's chest as he gripped on for dear life, attempting to bite her exposed neck. However, it wasn't prepared for the ace that was up the atomic saurian's sleeve, as Nautica's eyes began to glow a bright blue. One by one, her dorsal plates lit up as a low ringing hum began to grow louder and more rapid, before she unleashed a powerful beam of blue atomic energy straight at her foe. The sheer force of the blast impacted the deathclaw's chest, forcing it to reel in surprise as it was pushed off and plunged into a pile of scrap. Nautica roared defiantly as she began her next assault.

While the two colossal reptilian beasts fought on one end, the lesser Deathclaws were quick to notice the woman's arrival and proceeded to go on the offensive. As one tried to lunge at Mythra, it was suddenly countered as a bright light blinded it momentarily. It only had little time to process what happened before it found itself decapitated on the spot. The other four creatures took a moment to look down at their fallen member before glaring back at the woman with murderous intent. They all roared in rage as they begun to charge at the attacker, this time splitting up in order to surround Mythra and prevent her from escaping in a pack-like manner. Once they've gotten close, one would attempt to lunge into her with its huge horns in an attempt to gore her. A second creature was ready to pounce from behind, raising its arms so it could smash down on Mythra while she would be occupied with the immediate threat. The other two stood back in the meantime, circling the action as they and for an opening opportunity to join the fray.

She would soon find that they weren't the mere pushovers as she initially believed.

Towards the outer edges of the Rapture System just before the Boundary was a mostly-empty portion of space. Largely just a blank void away from the three major planets, this vast area was simply known as The Beyond. An area that hardly held anything, neither the population of the three major planets or the crime and villainy of the Boundary. Just mostly empty space, with perhaps just a number of planetoids, asteroids, and other celestial bodies that were hardly worthy enough to be considered interesting by just about anyone.

Of course, like just about everything in Rapture, that was about to change. Above the skies of two uninhabited planetoids towards the outer edges of the Rapture System there appeared a pinprick of light each. Then from it was a flash, and then a massive drop pod blinked into existence. Each drop pod came streaking down towards the surface, before slamming into the ground.

The pods remained there, smoke pouring out from them, before they seemed to fall apart and reveal the massive robots kept within.

  • COMMANDER ORPHEUS
    22915 Ixion
    Planetoid
    The Beyond

Commander Orpheus of the Legion took his first steps on the surface he had landed on. After untold millennia of dormancy, it was now time to begin anew, and to continue his core task: to destroy the Machine Liberation Army that had caused to extinction of the Progenitors, his creators, and to preserve organic life at all costs.

The Commander stood thirty metres in height, the light from the distant sun illuminating his red chassis. His left arm held his Fabricator, and his right his Uber Cannon. Like all other Commanders, both Legion and MLA, he was built for the sole purpose of war—a brutally efficient self-replicating mechanism of war. He began the next step of his mission by performing a quick scan of the immediate area to verify that he was in the correct location and to ensure that there were no hostiles nearby. His scanners were advanced, Commanders by necessity were equipped with the most advanced processing matrixes and sensors.

Exactly 36.77 picoseconds later, the scan was complete. For a rather long moment (approximately 16 nanoseconds), he paused. Confusion registered in his core matrix, something that simply couldn't happen. He ran another scan to be sure, and after a much more through scan of 12.42 nanoseconds, he received the same troubling result.

This was not the lush garden world of Drilia 6TLQ he had set the coordinates to prior to his jump. Rather, he now stood in the middle of a dead planet with endless dunes of red sand all around him. Grains of sand kicked up by fierce winds of over a hundred kilometres an hour pelted his metal body, though it hardly even chipped the dense Progenium alloy. There were dust storms in the distance, and the atmosphere was thin.

The Commander found that he was now feeling very disappointed. He had been looking forward to the jungles of Drilia 6TLQ, and the organics there. Of course, they were likely going to be exterminated in the inevitable battle that broke out with the MLA Commander he was to battle in the Tamnicus System.

What mattered that he was here, and he was still to continue his core directives at all costs.

So, precisely 13.51 microseconds after he had landed, he stepped forwards, towards a metal deposit he had located. It took a few moments to get to his destination, but once he was there, he readied his Fabricator arm and began the quantum nanotransmattering process.

And so, somewhere on a backwater planet, a Commander built a metal extractor.

Mythra/Pyra
As Mythra faced off against the monsters, she looked smirkingly at them. Did they REALLY think they could beat her?

Mythra, don't get cocky

Whatever-

I mean it! These things looks tough-

Fine, fine

As Mythra faced the monsters, Aegis read, they began to charge at her. Smirking she pointed her sword at them. There already in a semi-line, so one good attack should finish em off!

Ill finish them off with a Ray of Punishment!

Just get this over with..... Ill help if needed.

Wont need it!

As Mythra pointed her sword at the incoming hostiles, they began to circle around her, like a pack. Well, fudge. So these things had some intelligence.... but the question was, how much did they have? As Mythra look up a fighting stance, her eyes kept moving, attempting to keep the creatures in her eyesight

Well, looks like these things have intelligence, unlike a certain person

Shut up!

Focusing her blade at the closest one, she glared at them all. As one of them pounced at her, Mythra had a simple plan- she knew she was faster, so she attempted to sidestep the beast, and quickly slash at it. However, from the angle she slashed at, it would hit the beasts horns

Pyra, finish them!

If you say so...

As Mythra turned back at the features, her gems would begin to glow, quickly warping to Pyra, who, not wasting any time, held her sword in the air and called out

"Prominence Revolt!"

The ground underneath the monsters would started to grow warm, and if they weren't fast enough, pillars of fire would engulf them, an unpleasant end. However, the ground would also grow warm under Nautica and the Alpha, who were still fighting.....

As Pyra activated the move, she quickly swapped back to Mythra, who looked over at the battlefield, seeing which of these monsters had survived the assault......

Sir Skrubbins Sir Skrubbins Lazaro1505 Lazaro1505 Teacup but existent Teacup but existent 2Bornot2B 2Bornot2B Stricken Steel Stricken Steel

The three Guardians of Fireteam Martingale set off to do what they did best: combat. And so as the horde of Grimm charged, so did they. Chance took the lead of course, as the Titan he was always the first one into the fight. Yelling in excitement he sprinted forwards, building up a static Arc charge in his Dunemarchers' Linear Accelerators. Then he threw a fist at the nearest enemy: a particularly unlucky Ursa. The bear-like creature was struck with the power of an Arc-infused punch four times the energy of a heavy-caliber sniper round at point blank range.

The effects were predictable. The Ursa's bone mask shattered from the impact, before the energy came out through the other side and blew a hole clean through. The built-up energy in Chance's Exotic leg armour came next. It transferred itself to the target, before chaining to five other Grimm around it. All of them promptly disintegrated in a brilliant light show.

As the Grimm were disintegrating, Chance spun around and swapped to his Seventh Seraph CQC and cocked the Solar shotgun. He raised it and fired, blasting away a Beowolf.

The other two members of team were too in combat. Grey dashed past the Titan, firing Austringer with lethal accuracy. Every shot struck a Grimm in the head, and each was a kill. Running dry, he swiftly pulled out a Proximity Knife and tossed it at a Beowolf. It embedded itself into the creature's skull, beeped once, and then detonated in a Solar explosion, killing it and several others close to it. Not missing a beat, he dodge rolled out of the way of a charging Boarbatusk. Reloading his gun, he snapped it up in the blink of an eye and fired.

There was a screech, and he turned to see a squadron of Griffons had emerged from the breach, circling around and now bearing down on them. The Hunter grinned, casually putting away his hand cannon. Then he channeled his Light, reaching into the air and summoning forth his Golden Gun. He was now a blazing flame that shone bright in the sea of darkness.

tumblr_pegf6lNj0Q1xex79do1_400.gifv

He raised the spectral weapon and fan-fired it, shots of pure sunfire streaking out towards the airborne Grimm. Like with all his shots, they found their targets. Each shot easily penetrated the Grimm and kept going, coming out the other side without losing any momentum. As one might expect from a bullet hotter than the sun itself, the Griffons that had been hit promptly disintegrated into ash. Grey kept firing until he had depleted his Super energy, and by then all the Griffons were dead. His flaming gun faded away a moment later, and he drew Austringer again.

Val stood her ground, firing steady bursts from Redrix's Broadsword. Several Grimm were downed, but then a Beringel appeared. The gorilla-like monster had leapt into the air and was now coming downwards, fists above its head. Val hardly reacted, and instead, she vanished in a flash. The Grimm smashed into the space where she once was, cracking the road below, but the Warlock was gone. The Beringel looked around, confused.

Then the Warlock reappeared behind it. The Beringel turned, but Val gave it no time. She focused Void into her palm and unleashed an Atomic Breach. The Beringel was promptly disintegrated by the power of dark energy, which then chained to the other Grimm around it. Looking almost bored, she prepared a Handheld Supernova and launched several tiny singularities towards a Beowolf Alpha. It was destroyed in a matter of seconds.

The three were clearly very skilled, and it seemed like they were expending hardly effort at all in dispatching the Creatures of Grimm.

There were explosions around them, and Chance turned to see that several others had joined the fight. "Looks like we've got friendlies coming to lend a helping hand!"

There was a young-looking girl firing impressive beams of light, a girl in a soldier's uniform floating in the air and firing her rifle, two men (apparently father and son) battling with cobbled-together weapons, an odd boxy robot firing rockets and lasers, and a man who had seemingly summoned a spectral figure that had torn the Grimm apart with lightning.

Now the ride was turning, although the battle was just about over before it had even begun. Chance switched back to Cerberus+1 and slapped the side of the weapon, activating its Catalyst. The auto rifle had now essentially become a fully automatic shotgun. He raised it and fired, taking out a swath of bipedal Creeps. Following this, he focused Arc into his hand and threw a Pulse Grenade. It landed in the middle of a cluster of Grimm and detonated, disintegrating the Grimm caught in the blast radius and then finishing any that had survived the detonation with several more pulses of Arc.

The voice of his Ghost Zeke suddenly sounded in his head. "Chance, I'm getting some readings from behind us. Highly radioactive."

"Radioactive?" Chance asked.

"Yeah, I think it's—WHOA!"

The Titan had only begun to turn when a small green object came flying over his head. It flew straight into the mass of Grimm surging out of the opening and then detonated in a blinding flash, the sheer heat disintegrating the Grimm caught in the blast in an instant and melting the road below.

"What in Sam Hill was that?" Grey asked.

"Miniature nuclear weapon, low-yield," the Hunter's Ghost Saratoga explained. "I calculate a yield of roughly 1.77 tons of TNT."

Chance scratched his helmet. "Uh, in simple terms?"

"Less powerful than a Thundercrash," Zeke sighed.

"Oh... well, that's good."

Once the dust had settled it had become clear that the blast had collapsed the breach... and had also blown a massive crater in the road and shattered the windows of any nearby buildings. Still, no more Grimm were incoming.

Chance took a moment to reload his gun, before turning to the newcomers. "Hey, thanks for the help!" He told them.

"We were fine before you arrived, thank you," Val scoffed, annoyance clear even through her Prodigal Hood. "Your help was unneeded."

"Cut 'em some slack, willya?" Grey rolled his eyes, stepping forwards. He spun his hand cannon and then holstered it. It was then that he noticed the whole fish out of water look to the newcomers. He rose a brow underneath his Neoteric Kiyot helmet. "Oh... you're new here, ain't ya?"

"Agh!" He collapsed onto the ground and clenched his fists. It went away as soon as It started to which he continued forth through the streets of Harran.
He came across the exit of Harran, The train tunnel to his escape, To the curing of this outbreak. "Here goes nothing..." He mumbled as he walked into the tunnel. Debris littered the tunnel, A burnt out-train there, a few tanks there, You know, Nothin' out of the ordinary.
He heard a bit of chattering up ahead, and could see light at the other end of the tunnel...Artificial light. He walked carefully, Then spotted two men in some sort of...Futuristic riot armor...? They held black SMG's with strange-looking Silencers on the ends, They almost looked like futuristic soldiers (and were).
"Hey! Are you with-" Kyle started but was cut off by one as he approached slowly. "The UNSC? United Nations Space Command? Yeah we are, And we're Orbital Shock Drop Troopers, ODSTs for short." One said as he climbed into a strange vehicle with a belt-fed magazine machinegun on the back. "Get in, Crane. Janet, Get on the gun." He said in a gruff tone as Kyle hopped in the seat beside him. Janet the ODST climbed on the back, and put her hands on the Machinegun, and rotated it backward, Towards the inner tunnel to Harran. "When we drive out, Infected are gonna jump down from the cliff. So be ready." He stated as he drove the Warthog forward. "Well, It's better than to be hunted by a Volatile-" Crane was cut off when the first zombie jumped onto the hood of the warthog, and slipped and got crushed underneath, The Warthog shook a bit and sped forward.

"Alright people. We are in uncharted territory. One thing's for certain, this likely isn't Earth. So here's the game plan."
"Chief Engineer Lily Shen, I want you to go run a check on the Avenger's systems. God knows where we are and if the geoscanners are still operational. Central Officer Bradford, go check the comms systems, I want to see if this place has any form of communication we can tap into and possibly help us find wherever the hell we are in this world. Chief Scientist Richard Tygan, get the staff on high alert, please."

Several affirmations greeted the XCOM Commander's ears as he gazed out over the railing into the once-reassuring image of the Hologlobe. Once an accurate map of Earth, the globe had turned into a blank sphere yet to be filled out.
It wasn't a long time ago that the Rapture had arrived on XCOM Earth and caused untold chaos. The Commander remembered being knocked out before waking up to an entirely new world. Well, he had work to do. To stay still at a time like this was to court death.
His eyes fell on his officers, and Max realized he had never actually called them by their titles before. Usually their last names except for Lily Shen, in which case it was the first name.
The XCOM Commander permitted a half hour to pass before the man strode by mission control again, trying to gauge if anything new had cropped up. With luck, he might find allies here, but with his luck, he was probably going to find completely alien threats on this place.

UNSC Infinity

At first, It was a small distress signal that was detected by the Radio-Operations department of the Infinity. Captain Andrew Del Rio stood at the console, A operator looked up at him and nodded. He pressed a few buttons on the consoles' screen and Andrew began to speak,
"This is the UNSC Infinity, Responding to distress call codenamed, 'Avenger'. Welcome to Rapture, A universe of no-escape. I am Captain Andrew Del Rio of the UNSC Infinity, Do you need assistance Avenger?"

UNSC Pillar of Autumn

"This is the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, Responding to distress call 'Avenger'. I am Captain Jacob Keyes, As the Captain of Infinity has hinted, You are no longer in your home universe. There is no way to go back, All attempts have proven...futile."
Captain Keyes folded his hands behind his back as the AI Cortana scanned the smaller vessel known as 'Avenger'. It seemed to be some sort of Mobile ship base, capable of some combat action. Right now, It looked as if a few things aboard were damaged.

Jotaro Kujo

As Jotaro blearily opened his eyes, he was in a car- almost immediately alert. Wasn't he just in Morioh? Finally looking around, he realized he was in a white car, which was.... unique for him. Opened the door of the car, he stepped outside, and took a good look at his surroundings.

Opened the door, the tall stand user looked around at his surrounds. It was some kind of woods, which was clearly not anywhere near Morioh. Wait.... this was likely a stand user. Was this like Death 13, and he was stuck in a false world? Likely so. Well, he might as well keep walking, but first...

"Star Platinum!"

As Jotaro called out the familiar purple stand, Black hair blowing in the breeze. It was no doubt Star Platinum, but he would have to be careful. he would never forget the stand smashing its face in with a frying pan with Death 13.

Getting back in the car, Jotaro proceeded to get into the Drivers seat. The keys were already in the ignition, so he simply turned on the car, and took of fon a drive through the woods. He didn't even know why he was getting in the car, but it was there for a reason, right? He might as well use it.

One hour later......

As the car's fuel bar started to dip lower and lower, Jotaro kept an eye out for anything that was civilized, even remotely. Finally, as he started to think about surviving in the wild, he was met with a old-style village, likely no electronics. as he maneuvered the car down the road, he was met with curious looks from the villagers, who wondered what the white beast was. Jotaro was on the loo for anything out of the ordinary, and finally, he found it.

Some in.. well, normal clothing was walking around, and talking to the villagers. Jotaro maneuvered closer to him, ready to strike with Star Platinum... He would need to be fast and careful. As he got himself approximately 2-3 meters away from the suited man, he struck.

"Star Platinum!"

As he called out, the purple stand came out suddenly, striking the man with a powerful blow in the stomach. Not strong enough to kill, but strong enough to make him kneel over in pain. Jotaro calmly got out of the car, gaze directed at the man.

"So.. your the stand user. I guess, since this false reality hasn't disappeared yet... it will take a little more to end this. Now tell me. What is your stand Power?"

As the first deathclaw lunged at Mythra, it would find itself missing its target as the woman sidestepped and slashed at its horn's mid-section. However, the incredibly hard keratin covering allowed the creature to deflect the incoming bladed weapon, being as their horns were one of their most heavily durable parts of their body. A mere indentation was all the weapon was capable in its default stage. The draconian beast snarled as it glowered at the woman with its blank hellish eyes, before again charging her with claws extended outwards.

Quickly the pack began to close the ranks and tighten their circle around the futuristic warrior. Yet as they began to strike, they would be engulfed by pillars of flame emerging from the ground with thunderous applause. The four menials cried out in pain and surprise as flames danced across their scales and armored carapaces. They clearly didn't like being set ablaze. As the fires subsided, two of the beasts found their bellies and face badly scorched by the fire, prompting them to hunch over more and cover their vulnerable less-armored undersides. While they certainly felt the fierce agony coursing through them, the attack wouldn't be enough to take them down. Their dark osteoderm plates adorning their backside had proven more than capable in withstanding the intense heat from the flaming pillars.

One of the Deathclaws snuck up behind Mythra and attempted to grab her. If it was to connect, the beast would lift her body off the ground and then smash her headfirst on the ground before attempting to stab her with one of its large claws.

Meanwhile, Nautica and the Alpha Deathclaw found themselves bathed in a hot volley of flaming pillars that engulfed their bodies. Both giants roared out in annoyance, despite their scales keeping them relatively safe from any serious scorches, however the horned abomination seemed more distracted by the fires engulfing itself. It's lack of concentration as it stood up from the scrap pile caused the female titan to charge and slam her full weight against the Alpha; forcing him to stumble back to the ground with a pained grunt. Both fighters were still too busy killing each other to acknowledge Mythra, but they at least were somewhat aware of a third unknown party involved.

As Nautica once again started charging up an atomic breath, she would be met with a craggy tail slamming straight in her face. The impact momentarily stunned her, but she quickly shook it off with ease and swayed her body to clamp down upon the Deathclaw's fleshy throat with her powerful jaws. Her claws also dug under the beast's fleshy underbelly, locking her in place. The weakened beast gurgled as it could feel its windpipe being squeezed in and tasting its own blood. He issued multiple repeating jabs to Nautica's chest, with little effect, until unintentionally jabbing his claws straight into the beast's neck gills. This was finally enough to pry him free, sending him a few feet back from the sudden lack of force pressed on him.

Nautica let out another bellow of burning pain, blood lightly dripping from the wound. By the time she was ready to retaliate, her opponent had seemingly vanished into the thick fog. The titan growled as she began sniffing the radioactive air, attempting to detect where her opponent had gone. While she did, she turned her saurian head and silently noticed the strange armored woman not far from her in combat with the smaller deathclaws. Her eyes proceeded to gleam over the fighting warrior out of curiosity. Nautica had little clue as to who she was and why she was here, but she still felt rather wary of her unexpected arrival.

Lilith & Sackboy
Lilith.pngSackboy.png

Both Lilith and Sackboy leave the building after their meet and greet but the small guy quickly lit up and ran over to something. "Huh, what is it?" Lilith asks as she follows him to where he was running off to. The two of them arrive to a small cardboard spaceship with a controller inside, most likely as to control the ship, Sackboy then takes out three more stickers and places them on the ground near the ship witch spell out "Pod". "So I'm guessing this is yours then." Lilith says in slight appeal though the ship is quite small and it seems that only Sackboy could fit inside. "By the way, is it okay if I...ask something?" Sackboy turns over to her and nods in confirmation. "So, why did you come here anyways, did this place catch your interest maybe?" Sackboy nods again but this time he was more eager, Lilith smiles a little by his response and says again. "Hmm, I guess your quite an adventurer are you."

After the two of them were sitting by the lake for a bit Sackboy decided to explore the city more as he got up and walked towards it, there wasn't much to do here anyway. Lilith didn't really question it as she was thinking on leaving to but once she was about to follow him she then looked over to the pod and snapped her fingers, the carboard ship then lifted of the ground and she thought to herself. "I should probably take this with us." She then followed him as the pod followed her not far off.

    Timmothy Wahnabe .Sr & .Jr

    Location:
    Vale

Seemed like the battle was won from the very start... after all, while the Grimm are certainly something to scoff at considering they were the threat of an entire civilization in another world... the Grimm were clearly outmatched by either the abilities or equipment of these trained and battle hardened individuals who knew how to deal with threats of this scale... so it was no surprise that the defending side was killing off the Grimm faster than they can arrive. Of course... it wasn’t given the name of ‘Grimm’ by any of the Wahnabes... it was given another name inside their heads, being different from the other, to which the older wahnabe called them ‘Edgy Animals on steroids’ while the younger individual called them ‘Scary book monsters’... which would definitely be a scary sight at night time, but eh, both descriptions would have worked depending on the context of the situation at hand.

But as they were moping up the last of the Grimm in the area... some conversations still had arisen throughout it, like it was a normal old conversation about some video game while out on a jog or in a local coffee shop, but the Older Wahnabe merely gave a chuckle of his own at Adachi’s remark, before saying

“Wasn’t always like this... but it seems that even nearing the mid of my life, I can still move like I’m 20... still, not bad with that.... ‘summon’ of yours.”

The older gentleman had stopped a few seconds to look at Adachi’s ‘summon’... which was actually a Persona but he had no fuckin clue what it’s real name was. Still, he was lucky something that can slice through these beasts and use lightning was on their side instead of the opposite end of a battlefield... that thing may prove to be a challenge with what he was seeing so far, even when equipping something like his power fist. Before he could think much longer.... he saw the all familiar sight of an Fatman being launched through the air and landing dead enter from where the Grimm were originating from... and man, even after time and time again when seeing that same old mushroom cloud aftereffect of the mini-nuke occur, he still wouldn’t get used to it. Maybe it was due to that ‘Great-War’ and knowing some of its history that made him despise the use of such weaponry... but eh, as long as it got the job done and he wasn’t in the receiving end of it, he’ll ignore it, especially since the only ones here that would have access to such a weapon was either his son, or the Securitron bot considering they come from the same country of America (or his world’s equivalent), and he was more sure on it being his son due to his love for explosives.

A few minutes earlier before the mini-nuke had been released, Timmothy .Jr was still blasting away at ‘Scary book monsters’ with his Wazer Wifle, the smell of burned flesh filling the air as an barrage of lasers were sent at anything that were unlucky enough to be in the sight lines of this deadly bear. So far, the brave and stalwart heroes (being them) are fighting back against the evil tide of an evil being’s minions... all being from different locations and times, but all have one thing in common, is that they were brought here by fate... and were to work together to win against the evils of the dark lord and bring back light to the lands! Well, it’s far from the reality that the young Wahnabe thought about within his head as he bashed the stock of his rifle into a poor Beowulf’s skull a couple of times... but eh, has some similarities with the real thing. But still, he had finished off the Grimm as he heard Sophia’s response about his words, and while the entire sentence was interrupted a Wolf monster coming in to ruin her day... he decided to let her take care of it herself, after all, it seemed that she had it handled already and that meanie wolf had gotten what was coming to him.

But he did wonder to himself, did she consider her programming to be that of an guardian to humans? So maybe that was why she didn’t expect his response... because maybe she wasn’t used to words of others helping her and was meant to be more of something like a guard with high tech awesomeness instead of a individual who thinks themselves of equal humanity to others. Just because she wasn’t made of flesh and probably synthetic skin and a metal skeletal system (still believes that Sophia was a synth) doesn’t mean she was any different than the real deal. In fact, she was a lot nicer than most others back home, considering the wastelands are bound to at least create some form of hostility within people such as an survival instinct or distrust to strangers... even his own father and himself wasn’t free from this rule, and probably Adachi had a few screws loose within his head with what the Timmothy saw so far. But with the latter, maybe Timmothy can help him be a better person... yeah, make him less of a meanie and more of a friend... what a good idea (not)!

Back to the present, after the mini-nuke had taken effect and the last of the Grimm were wiped off the face of the planet, the Securitron from earlier had complimented Timmothy .Jr on his use of the Fatman... to which he could only give a thumbs up back and said:

“Well mister Securitron... I do have a certain knack for explosive ordinance... along with technology and equipment! So it was easy like... uh... oh, perfectly preserved pie!”

He said with a smirk underneath his Bear mask, as one of the trio from earlier came up to thanks for the aid that they had received, the older and younger Wahnabe replying without missing a beat.

“Well... we couldn’t just stand around doing nothing when we had the power to help. Also... nice punching earlier... might be able to give me a run for my money... but nothing beats the ‘Irish One Punch Man’ at his own game...”

“Helping other people is just what the Wahnabes do sir! Also, the name is Timmothy Wahnabe .Jr, and that there in the fancy outfit is my father, who had a .Sr instead of .Jr at the end part of his name.”

As he crossed his arms and said with a small smile... clearly amused by not only Chance’s own performance, but also everyone else’s as well. This has to be somewhere like the ‘Frontier’ or to the East... because this isn’t something that would occur on a normal basis... and there has to be somewhere with a still preserved city that managed to advance over the years. I mean, what else could result in this... and he was definitely sure that no ‘space warp’ shit had occurred to them that sent them to the future, because then that Securitron over there wouldn’t even been here, even if it was kept at prime condition... since it’s model would surly become outdated throughout the years and would have been put within this place’s version of a museum. It was then this hooded bitch had the gall to say that they didn’t need the help... which the older wahnabe merely scoffed at while the younger one was wondering why some people were being a bit mean today when they just only meet... and before the older one could reply, he was not only beat by Grey, but also Adachi as well.

The former’s words were good to hear... good to see that her teammates could at least maintain a normal conversation with another human being instead of trying to push em away like no one’s business... but the latter just laughed like a maniac in her face, before dropping an entire dictionary’s worth of insults and words that would have definitely hit straight in the feels if the older wahnabe was at the receiving end of it... something that he was thankful being aimed at. Because while those.... words had brought back up some bad memories, he wasn’t the one being insulted about it... but that didn’t mean his opinion of Adachi wouldn’t falter a bit, because he was rather rude at first in the beginning... but now, he was just waiting to see if this bastard had the nerves to insult either him or his son... because oh boy, he had a certain knuckle sandwich in store when the wrong buttons would be pressed, but on his exterior, he merely continued his frown and remained in silence.

The .Jr had other things in mind tho... because he couldn’t let this meanie get away with insulting each other... maybe this could be the first step of making him a better person! So, he then announced his prescience with a loud ‘Ahem’ and then said to the both of them.

“Hey... what you both said to each other was just mean. We aren’t hostile to each other... so why have some hostility in our voices to each other? It would only make relations far worse between all of us, and when that one person you insulted can be the only one to save you... they would be more likely to leave ya behind if that’s the case.”

“You... lady in the hood, don’t feel ashamed of accepting help from others, because that shows that people wanna help you out. And rejecting help is a bad thing considering we all need to work together in order to achieve great heights. After all... we’re the pyramids in great and ancient Egypt built by one or few individuals alone? No... they had received a lot of help from others... and by working as a part of a team and accepting help, they managed to build the pyramids!”

“And you... Adachi... that was just plain old mean. It’s what some others would say... even if you have the power to save people, the power to make a change... doesn’t mean you can’t save everyone around you... even I had accepted this lesson, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try to save as much people as we can. And sure, she did start it first by saying she didn’t need help... but I’m sure it wasn’t that bad... and there was no need to escalate things even further by hurting ones feelings...”

The Wahnabe had put his two cents into the small ‘argument’... the older Wahnabe kinda surprised that his son actually gotten a bit of maturity to say those sentences without getting distracted by something... but deep down, he was happy that his son was actually trying to make a change, trying to be the voice of reason... even if he was sure that it wouldn’t work, at least he tried, which was the main thing. Of course, their attention was brought back by Sophia saying they didn’t know much about the city and couldn’t navigate it, to which the older Wahnabe replied with:

“...mhhm... that is true... me and my son only arrived a few hours ago and have been wandering around like headless chickens for the most part. You guys may have a better sense of direction then we do...”

“Yeah... oh.... oh, I need to say something. So, me and my dad come from Vault 76 within West Virginia... but right now, we don’t even know where we are. So what country is this place in? Is it like the ‘Frontier’ up North within Canada or somewhere else entirely to the east...”

The latter finished with an usual optimistic voice lining his words at the end, still believing in the idea like his father had been earlier that they were still in ‘Earth’ and that this was just another weird place entirely.

Leman continued his rampage across the battlefield of madness, truly it felt like home. Albeit on a much Much smaller scale, nonetheless he swung his helwinter axe again and again. Each swing adding dozens upon dozens to the Primarch's already enormous killcount, Everyone around the daemon only continued to build this streak. Charging recklessly without a care in the world, those men. Attacker and defender alike had fallen to the influence of the Hunt, this pleased Russ greatly as he took another few souls with a powerful punch to the ground, exploding them into a show of red. The Fenrisian felt his abominable form returning bit by bit to his former strength. Although.....Russ knew this wouldn't be enough, his link to Kharnath was simply too weak. It would decades of war for him to call the power of his pat-Boom

Leman let out a sudden grunt as he felt a sudden explosive hit his back, instantly turning around. Only to be greeted with a rocket to the eye,The Fenrisian snarled as he drew his combi bolter scorchspitter, letting loose a short burst of bolt rounds onto the last rocket:destroying it with a loud Boom to follow. Of course, what followed that explosion was what appeared to be a blurry armored warrior. He couldn't make out much as it was rapidly approach, and perhaps the fact he was missing an eye.....along with a chunk of his face.

Nonetheless,Russ attempted to counter the approaching attack with his own swift anger fueled swipe. Wishing nothing but his daemonic claws deep into the bastard that blew his eye out!

Val's eye twitched beneath her helmet, but she didn't seemed to be very fazed by Adachi's rather massive list of insults. "Excuse me?!" She retorted, stepping forwards. "We had arrived here to combat the Grimm intrusion in the area, and we came here as soon as we could. This was something that none of us could have prevented, and I'm sure you would understand that during events such as this, causalities are just about unavoidable."

The two of them seemed prepare to argue further, but the young man in the bear costume (Timmothy Wahnabe .Jr , apparently) clearing his throat got their attention. He offered his own opinion, his own two cents, and Val, and the rest of Martingale, was surprised at what he had to say. Somehow, he had managed to understand them mere moments after they had met.

The Warlock raised a brow. "Well, then, I have to admit that I do feel rather humbled by your words.

Grey rolled his eyes and stepped forwards. "Hey, cut it out, you two. We ain't here to argue," he told them. "Thing is, she's right. Y'all probably ain't got no clue what we're talking about, but something's been going on. This isn't the first time that's happened. Local military forces here are already stretched thin after the other incidents earlier."

"Yeah, well, we can sort this out later, right? We're all friends here," Chance spoke up, friendly as ever. He put away his Cerberus+1 and then reached up to his helmet, before disengaging the locks. He slowly pulled off his Ancient Apocalypse Helmet, revealing his very obviously robotic features for all to see. His optics were shining bright blue, and he was very tall as one might expect from a Titan in full armour, towering at just under seven feet. "I'm Chance-28. I'm a Titan Guardian of the Last City."

The others did the same. Grey pulled off his helmet and lowered his hood, revealing his deep auburn hair and emerald green eyes. There was a vertical scar towards the edge of his right eyes, and he could only be described as ruggedly handsome. "Call me Grey. I'm a Hunter."

"Valeria Auash," the Warlock introduced. Her helmet was off, now showing her purple skin and eyes, which glowed softly with power. Her hair, a similar shade of purple, was done up in a proper bun. Her posture was straight and formal, as befitting for someone like her. In many ways she was almost ethereally beautiful, were it not for the perpetual frown on her lips. "I would say that it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, but now I believe that the moment has gone."

"We make up Fireteam Martingale," Grey finished. "And to answer the one question all of you want answered now, you're—"

He didn't get to finish. The ground rumbled beneath them, coming directly from the breach. The team stepped backwards as the road and rock suddenly began to crack and split. Something seemed to be smashing into it, trying to break through the surface.

Whatever it was revealed itself just moments later. A massive scorpion-like Death Stalker burst from the ground, perhaps the largest ever recorded. It reared up its glowing, bulbous tail and snapped its claws, screeching at the group as it prepared for battle.

"It appears that the battle is not over yet," Val remarked calmly as she placed her helmet back on her head and gripped Redrix's Broadsword.

"Death Stalker, huh?" Grey uttered, slipping on his helmet and drawing his hand cannon. "'Course it had to be a Death Stalker."

Chance only grinned, putting his helmet back on. He drew Cerberus+1 and cocked it. "This is gonna be fun," he said, Arc energy crackling over his body. "I haven't had a proper punching in a while."

It too would quickly look over to see the hideous beast, only for it too to be quickly yanked from the railing and gobbled up by the ravenous reptilian menace.

"DEMON!" the screamed with intense malice as she bore her sharp human teeth. The tribal figure said nothing as he began walking forth with solid purpose unfazed by her spat. Intimidated yet unwilling to run, the woman screeched loudly as she made a wild mad-dash towards him, as if making a desperate last stand. Yet as she lunged, she would be met with an expecting dark hand that grasped her throat with relentless tension, lifting her off the ground and in the air. The man's gaze only strengthened, his brow silently focusing upon the scaly creature's own. Choking and sputtering in place, the woman attempted to squirm away, but with no affect as the grip began growing tighter and tighter.

King Louie

The skull faced serpent matched Louie's roar with a gnarled cry of its own, revealing an array of jagged teeth in the process, covered with a mix of its ill gotten gains from the club's tables and the flesh and fur from those it had thoughtlessly devoured. This beast would soon learn that Louie was not as easy prey as his patrons or the Bandar-log.

If you weren't invited to eat at the Jungle V.I.P.'s tables then that meant you were on his menu. In this creature's case, that statement couldn't be more literal. Always looking to profit, Louie already had plans for a new special for his menu when he was finished here; "Serpent Surprise." A fitting end for this intruder, who dared disrespect a King.

As Louie tensed his massive muscles and prepared for battle, he noticed something strange within the malicious creature's open maw. The roof of its mouth writhed and jerked unnaturally, like it had a mind of its own, but before King Louie could give it further thought, he noticed a dark figure burst on to the scene. It grabbed the beast's tail and, despite the reptile's best efforts, violently pulled it from the deck, sending it hurtling to the ground below with a startled cry.

King Louie, Flunky and the Bandar-log rushed to the end of the deck to witness the unfolding events but their view was obscured by the trees and foliage below. The straining serpents squeals could be heard but they were drowned out by thunderous bellows up till the serpent made a startling reappearance as it was tossed into the air above the jungle canopy before crashing onto the beach. The battered beast struggled to its feet, as a large dark-skinned bearded man emerged from the thick bush.

As the man walked along the beach towards his opponent, it hissed and snarled with utter resentment before undergoing a startling metamorphosis. The Bandar-log whooped and hollered in horror as the beast's head snapped and twisted in an grotesque manner before revealing a separate entity; that of a pale-skinned Caucasian woman. The woman was like none that Louie had ever seen, she lacked arms or legs, only possessing a head and torso that was mounted upon the abnormal creature where its skull faced head once stood.

The monstrous woman screamed at the man but he was completely unfazed and simply continued his approach towards her. She let a furious screech and charged towards him only to come to a sudden stop as the man's powerful hand closed around her throat. He lifted her off the ground and she cursed him relentlessly as she attempted to break free but was swiftly silenced as the man snapped her neck. He tossed her lifeless form on to the sand before grasping her by the tail and launching her into the sea.

King Louie had watched the fight with great interest. This man was unlike any he had ever encountered, with strength far beyond his kin. He could make for a powerful ally, if Louie could convince him it would be in his best interests.

The King of the Bandar-log pointed towards the man. "Bring him to me." he commanded. His monkey minions did as they were instructed and made their way down towards the beach. Considering the man's display before, some were quite rightly more hesitate then others but they dared not go against their King. Surrounding the silent stranger, they began pulling and prodding him as they prompted him to follow.

Mythra/Pyra

As Mythra looked over carefully at the monsters, she could clearly see no piles of ash- what she did see however, were some very scorched creatures. All of them looked then they ran through a fire, with their scorched parts clearly showing- the attack seemed to have been somewhat effective on them, but not in the way she had been hoping for. Damn. Why were these things so tough?

Pyra, why do I not see 4 piles of ash?

Looks like they were stronger- I didn't put to much firepower into the attack.

Well, then do that next ti-

Mythra was interrupted in her arguing with Pyra, but as interrupted by one of the creatures TRYING TO GRAB HER. As its hand/claws stretched out towards her barely managed to get out of the way, but she didn't get away unharmed however, at the creatures managed to scratch her, leaving a small trail of blood.

Oh, baby monsters want to play? We can do that.

Charging up her sword with ether energy, a green-ish ting to the white light, she jumped up and aimed her sword at the rest of the monsters. She had made sure to pack a punch with this attack, so the ability would likely be strong enough to kill them.

"Chroma Dust!"

As she called that out, blasts of light emitted from the sword, headed directly for the rest of the monsters. The blasts were, also greenish. As Mythra landed down, she wasn't finished yet as she called out

"Terminal Flash!"

As she also called that out, she would attack the closest monster at lighting speeds, in which would likely be a kill strike, if there were any left. If not, the move simply wouldn't work.

Adachi seemed to confuse the AI quite a bit, to be frank. First, determining the fight as fun? That isn't something she has ever considered before. Humans eliminate enemies for... fun? "So how does that work?", was the question boggling Sophia. Were they not disturbed by enemies? Or... it could perhaps be due to how special these specific humans (including Adachi) were! That has to be it.

But then, his improper behavior. Why was he laughing? There was nothing humorous. Unless it was to mock Val. But why? Well... now that she thinks about it, her claiming her group didn't need Adachi and company to help may be a way of provoking the group... so on second thought, it's likely Adachi's behavior wasn't improper.

As for his first remark, actually... Sr.'s response made her wonder: was that what her weapons were called? "Summons"? Odd... it didn't seem to fit the four blocks. But then, what did fit? Huh...

As the Securitron spoke, one thing came to mind...

461252AD-703D-46C7-A7B9-297323D0FAB2.png("Is there a human stuck in there?!")

This shock quickly fled as she realized... she's not a human stuck in something. So it's likely Victor wasn't either. That and he seemed so chipper about it, while a human might be distressed about it. Crisis averted!

Given how he had introduced himself though, Sophia thought it may be fitting to do the same... for the newcomers anyway. So, once more putting up that left hand and waving it, she'd say:

192FCB4A-9DDE-4652-9BE1-4171068E32E4.png"Greetings, newcomers. I am Sophia, humanity's companion."

Though, she couldn't understand... why was Adachi given a talking-to? And told he was being hostile? He was merely defending himself against Val provoking them, yes? It muddled the AI.

Either way, she felt this advice really only applied to humans, given she herself is meant to be a helper, not a helpee. But, it is true that they may need to help each other out in this situation... she's not meant to be helped though... argh. She held her head as she thought this over, brows curving. She just can't understand, she can't apply the logic to it. She seemed to be quite lost about this, drowning out everyone around her.

Sophia's thoughts had been interrupted though, feeling the rumbling and the pounding of the ground, and whatever was below it. She'd step back a good amount of steps, as a blue flame engulfed her once more, summoning Pithos. When the Death Stalker revealed itself, her twin yo-yos would appear right in her gloved hands.

Recalling how Adachi remarked about how fun the prior battle was, Sophia then decided she should join along, to show she understood the humans. Which she did, mind you! She just needs to think some things through about what she doesn't get.

Ironically for a conman it sure did look like Kaiki was the one on the other end of someone else's trick however for such a trick there was a suspicious lack of bait for him to follow, little clues to create a full story and little in sight of anything to latch himself onto in furthering this trick's 'plot' along at a pace he felt conformable at. Many mysteries yet no truth, it may seem out of character for such a man to be searching for the 'truth' however all lies need truth as otherwise there would be nothing to bend or twist to one's desires because fundamentally there cannot be the fake without the real, all the information accumulated from asking the little number of patrons and residents stored within his notebook in the form of child-like sketches and short but detailed notes.

"Star Platinum!"

Pain is little more than someone's nerve cells telling their brain they should feel something, they should feel hurt, but that is all it is and different people experience pain differently, be it emotional or physical, some people can feel nothing from the same thing which puts others in the state of immobility. Now understanding that pain is little more than someone's nerves telling themselves how they should feel opposed to what they really do or should be, how was Kaiki's experience with some sort of strong invisible force impacting his chest and removing his ability to breathe? He fell to the floor like a ton of bricks without putting up much of a fight, the mysterious man's questions doing little to relieve the confusion as he simply had more questions than the mysterious man did, namely "Stand... power? Like some sort of teenage manga?" which he asked himself in his head. While the blow did nothing permeant and just left him immobile for a few seconds, just like how pain is no more than the nerves deceiving the brain, Kaiki played out the damage to be much worse than it was in reality where he moaned, acted in pain, and repeated phases like "My back, I think this hooligan just broke my back" and "How will I pay for treatment?" in an attempt to deceive everyone near by to help him, or was he? After all this well built and exotically dressed man did just assault a random stranger, in one’s subjective reality they would see either a innocent gentleman being assaulted or a wrongdoer being punished, which leaves the only truth that the concept of “subjectivity” is the biggest lie of them all.

As Jotaro faced down the downed "stand user" they seemed to be confused, asking what a stand was. Of course, they could be faking, but it was hard to fake something like that.... the look of true confusion was one thin he had faced many times

"Yare Yare Daze....."

So, if this person wasn't the stand user,, then who was. Looking at all of the villagers nearby, he realized one thing.... they weren't looking at him out of fear, they were looking at his stand. How were they able to see Star Platinum? They couldn't all be stand users... likely the only the only reason they could see it, was because it was a false reality.

As Jotaro was mulling over these thoughts, the suited man started to moan in pain, faking it. He was saying that Jotaro had broken his back. What bullshit. The more worrying thing however, is that the villagers might attack him. Thinking he fast, he called out

"Star Platinum! The World"

6b892be1-b383-4445-9334-43c6017bb12c

As time froze, the world changing its colors, Jotaro unlocked the backseat of the car, and Star Platinum pushed the man inside, and locked the doors. As time resumed again, Jotaro immediately walked over to the drivers seat, and got in. He closed the door, and they took off, the villagers shocked at what had Just happened.

Jotaro turned back to the man in the backseat- well, he would interrogate this idiot, who seemed somewhat manipulative.

"I have some questions for you, and you will answer them. Now tell me, do you know where we are?"

The latter finished with a usual optimistic voice lining his words at the end, still believing in the idea like his father had been earlier that they were still in ‘Earth’ and that this was just another weird place entirely.
