  Putting names to faces was great! She had hoped that they had names, but not everyone named their pokemon. Granted that was weird, it was like calling your doctor “doc” outside of a hospital. She found it fun to travel with others again. She’d only done it twice before. It was relaxing. She had a wide smile on her face as they reached the far market.
  
  There were baskets that they would usually take on trips to the food shop but she forgot them. Well there should be enough hands between the group. Usually Zoro helped her out by balancing a basket on his back but this time there was no basket to be balanced. Ruffles and Celeste were... well they were great but they had a much harder time helping.
  
  She stopped to look back as Emily responded only to see her bump into Rin. He was standing far closer than he was before. Was he getting more used to them? She smiled as she threw herself into trying to hug Rin and Emily. She didn’t get the chance to notice Celeste’s sudden agitated fluttering around the other pokemon as well as Zoro's furious sniffing of the air. It seemed they were both responding to a familiar presence.
  
  “Group hug time? Are you getting more comfy with us Rinny?”

Rin​

When Emily bumped into him, he looked down. RinRin was probably going to stick at this point, considering he never stopped her the first time. “Don’t worry about me. You’re too little to do any damage,” he said seriously. If she was referring to his expression, he hadn’t caught on.

Considering his distraction, he was absolutely not prepared for the hug forced upon him. As soon as she made contact, he grunted, quickly looking away, stiffening up. “Ah, that’s not what-”

Of course, Sweetpea spotted the group hug and bound over, stopping when she noticed what Rin noticed. She wrapped her body around the three, a growl rumbling through her chest, having cut off Rin’s attempted objecting sentence.

She bapped Rin on the head and then the belt with her horn. If she was being protective all of a sudden, she was meaning business.

Darling slid off Sweetpea’s back and landed with a thud by Rin, no longer sleepy. Instead, electricity was sparking through her wool.

Angel wrapped a feeler around Cupcake and Oddy, herding them into the group around Sweetpea.

Cupcake tapped a ball on Rin’s belt, putting herself into his Pokeball of her own accord.

Rin ran a hand through his hair, “Shoot. Well, this is as much of a scene as any. We need to take what we have and get out-”

“WELL! Don’t I recognize that Goodra?” A feminine voice rang out, coming from someone wearing the black hat and white x.

"Epp!" the sudden hug took Emily by surprise but it wasn't an unwelcomed one she let off a little giggle at Arianna's commit about Rin may be getting closer to them. Emily's face form its self turned a little pinkish from the interaction and poor Ted was getting squashed in the crossfire. Then suddenly Rin and Sweetpea got suddenly serious as she heard the good girl let out a rather menacing grow not to mention the rest of Rins pokemon suddenly being rather uncharacteristic, what is going on? She looked over to where Rin was watching before and was finally able to see a dark-clad woman wearing what looked to be a pirate-style getup and on her chest a logo that she was far too familiar with. "Team Plasma" it's not common to really see them out in public like this at least not the Pirate-themed ones what is going on to cause them to be out and about like this where they perhaps looking for her? This wouldn't be the first time her father worked with them after all. "We should go I don't like the look of that woman." She quickly placed Oddly and Ted back into their Pokeballs not wanting to see the two hurt should this become a fight Mr. Stuffly would likely come out on his own even if Emily rather he didn't.​

  The Mystery of the Culprit || Arianna’s CS File
  
  Her group hug was not quite interrupted but disrupted as Sweetpea started a growl deep in her chest. She heard Zoro mimic the sound with a fierce sounding growl of his own as his hair stood on edge. Zoro was always her most perceptive friend when it came to intentions. She realized that Rin’s pals were having just as much of a reaction. Ruffles and Celeste were quick on the uptake and fell into line beside Emily.
  
  She let go of the two from the group hug as Rin seemed to start to get worried. Wait leave? But they had just got here? She looked around darting her head from side to side to see what had spooked him. Very quickly she found what had agitated everyone as a female in a different type of black suit came out. She didn’t think they were the same as earlier but it never hurt to be careful.
  
  It seemed some of the pokemon were quickly stored away, likely the babies of the group. She knew even if she wanted to none of hers would be down for being protected over doing the protecting. Zoro proved this as he got between the woman and the trio growling fiercely as she spoke of the Goodra being familiar. She’d usually call him back but as Emily whispered the name “Team Plasma” she knew she was in for some shit. She’d heard rumors of them in the net, how some of the other occupants of Kalos would liken them to the Flare gang back home.
  
  She was quick to take out her Pokedex and sent out the Danger Signal. At least now any wandering newbies would know to stay clear. It was too much to hope that an Ace was around to help, but then again that’s what she was training for now wasn’t it? She raced a pace forwards to be just a bit behind Zoro.
  
  “Just who are you? I’m not sure if you’ve realized by it’s obvious neither of them wishes to talk to you!”
  
  She just needed to delay. Only a fool would start a mess in the middle of a city. She may not be much on her own but a proper trainer's biggest defense was the network. She had to remember to thank her mother for forcing her to go through the proper paperwork in her next letter home.

Rin Mori​

Hearing Emily say the name of his ex-team, he grimaced. Even the younger one knew who they were. All the more reason to keep his past in the past, but he doubted it would be contained much longer. And they just met, so either he would get lumped in with Team Plasma and beaten to a pulp, or end up alone. The latter was what he was used to, but he knew he would worry about Emily getting kidnapped by perverts again. Arianna seemed capable of handling herself, though… maybe too trusting?

“Get on Sweetpea’s back. She’ll keep you and your friends safe.” Sweetpea tapped her tail on Emily’s leg, confirming Rin’s statement.

Once Angel finished corralling the Pokemon that allowed themselves to be corralled, he ended up hiding behind Rin, wrapping a feeler around his leg.

When Arianna sent out the Danger Signal, Rin seriously hoped that Team Plasma never found a replacement hacker. The chances of one being in the area was slim to none, though. Not unless they were looking to pull a bigger operation.

When Arianna shouted at the woman, Rin stepped forward, his voice more commanding, “Leave.”

The Team Plasma woman smiled wide, ignoring Rin, and out stepped a guy in the same get up from around a corner. Of course they’d be in pairs. The woman said, “Mori! It is you!” She pulled out a pokeball from her bag, a devious glint in her eyes, “Hanging around abusers nowadays, are ya? Girls, has he stolen a Pokemon off you yet? What’re you hanging around him still for, huh?” She snickered, clicking the button on the ball to enlarge it.

Rin scowled, “They aren’t abusers. Leave us be.”

"'Us,' he says. why would they stay around you, with you being who you are?"

Emily did intend on hopping on to Sweetpeas back right away but the sound of a Pokeball opening up from her bag decides otherwise. Mr. Zippy would appear in front of them all of them its hands lighting in dark purple darkness singing the start of a potential shadow claw. "Wait Mr. Zippy no! You're still not well from last night!" The youngest would run forward grabbing her brave but very foolish doll. Picking up her foolish protector Mr. Zippy would struggle trying to be released from her arms. Rin was telling everyone to leave he was right there was another grunt stepping out of the shadows and they seem to know Rin. "Rinrin would never do such horrible things he's too nice for that r right?" Emily stared up towards Rin, he can't be who they say he is right? After all, he went out of his way to protect her after all. Mr. Zippy on the other hand just glared at him it seems the Banette had no reason to trust this stranger and would likely not keep its eyes off of him. "Just leave us alone already if you're with my father tell him I'm not coming back!" Emily shouted back at the grunts.​

Hailey Krauss​

Gym Leader training had been going smoothly at the beginning. Lucky for Hailey, Icirrus was surrounded by cities with Gyms weak to Ice-types. She had defeated Drayden, who specialized in the dreaded Dragon-type, before finding her Lapras. There weren't many Gyms if she had continued going in that direction though, so she had returned home and gone the opposite direction. The match against Skyla in Mistralton yielded another Gym badge, as her Flying-types didn't fare well against Hailey's Vanillish and Cubchoo. During her battle against Clay in Driftveil, while facing his Ground-types, her Cubchoo even went and evolved into a Beartic!

After her third Gym badge, Hailey was starting to feel her journey to becoming a Gym Leader would be easy. Maybe it was that cockiness that left her unprepared when facing the Electric-type Gym Leader Elesa, but it marked the first loss she girl had against a Gym Leader. Instead of backtracking, Hailey pressed forth, vowing to return when she was stronger. She wanted to train against Pokemon which weren't weak to Ice-types, but sadly, the desert terrain of Route 4 didn't present that challenge. It was mostly Ground-types there, with the odd Maractus and Darumaka once in awhile. The Trainers available did provide some new challenges though, which she was thankful for.

When she arrived at Castelia City though, Hailey knew she would find some new challenges. She had arrived late the previous night and had spent the night in the Pokemon Center. Now, the sixteen-year-old was in the market in order to find any interesting berries which could help with her battle strategy. While looking at one of the stalls, she felt her Pokedex buzzing in her pocket. Assuming it was an alert marking a spill or something nearby, she pulled it out and took a look.

"A fight?" she said, blinking, noticing the red color of the alert. "Here? In the middle of the market?" Hailey wouldn't have been surprised if a fight broke out at the plaza, but on the busy streets? That would be a serious blockage. "Well, better go help!" the girl said with a cheerful smile and made her way over to the location of the alert.

"What's going on?!" she asked, approaching two girls and a boy. The boy looked to be the oldest and had black-hair which obscured his eyes. One of the girls had red hair, and the other was blonde. The latter looked to be the youngest in the group. Then she noticed the woman in black. The white cross on the front of the black beret, despite their attempts to rebrand, identified her as Team Plasma. "So you're the troublemaker," she said, pulling out a Poke Ball. "Go! Beartic!" she called, throwing it forth. Once it landed, from a flash of white light a polar bear with a beard made of icicles emerged. It let out a roar before standing ready, facing the uniformed woman.

  She had trained for this right? Well okay she should have trained for this. She full intended to be an Ace one day that little ones could look after but how could she do that if she couldn’t even protect her new friends. She was especially pissed as the cowards tried to act like Rin was some awful person, or that they were? She didn’t understand them well but it was clear enough they were nuts.
  
  “RIN’S NO THIEF, YOU WEIRDOS!”
  
  She stomped her foot down at the words as Ruffles and Celeste raced forwards to be at her side. Well this wasn’t an official pokemon match now was it? So she didn’t need to follow the rules here! She put her hands on her hips before another, presumably a pokemon trainer from their response, came bursting on the scene. Unlike her it seemed this one traveled with her pokemon stashed away as she threw out a pokeball. She grinned as the tides turned.
  
  “Emily, Zippy! Ya’ll stand back and let us get this done!”
  
  With a flair for the dramatic, she pointed forwards at Team Plasma. With another Trainer on the scene, it was only so long they could hold out. She grinned as her trio reflected her sentiments with a roar.
  
  “See this isn’t an official match considering ya’ll aren’t exactly upstanding trainers so...CHARGE EVERYONE!”
  
  With her words all three of her pokemon advanced with Zoro coming in full frontal with the Beartic as Celeste and Ruffles went for a pincer attack from the sides.

Rin Mori​

At Emily’s words, he visibly flinched, refusing to look down at the young girl with a clenched jaw. He couldn’t confirm her words and instead focused on the pair. Bold of them to want to start something in the middle of an outdoor marketplace, and it made Rin concerned about what their true intentions were.

Not only that, but even Arianna went to his defenses.

“Used-”

“-No! Let me tell them,” the girl snickered as she released her own Zorua. “That whole team of his save one were all stolen.”

The guy spoke up, his voice much more calm than his partner, “Oh? The Sapphire girl is here too. We have no choice now, anyway.” He withdrew his own pokeball and released a Mightyena.

A stranger approached just then, and Rin could assume it was with the assistance of the danger signal that Arianna sent. That confirmed that the signal worked, at least.

The girl ended up releasing a Beartic from her pokeball. He groaned softly. There was no getting out of another pokemon battle, as much as he would have preferred to settle this between the humans.

The grunts seemed a little unsettled momentarily, but quickly recovered as they withdrew another pokeball from their belts. “So be it,” said the girl.

Out popped two more pokemon from Team Plasma’s side: a Magnemite and a Carvanha.

Rin looked down at Emily then over at Team Plasma. He took a step closer to her, holding a hand out protectively between her and the grunts.

No matter how everyone felt about him at this point, it didn’t matter. What was going to take priority was getting out of this situation, and it seemed even his own Pokemon were going to go against his wishes. As per usual.

Sweetpea slammed her tail against the ground as she prepared a Poison Tail, sticking behind those that charged in case someone broke through.

Darling, maybe surprisingly, dashed with the chargers.

Angel stepped in front of Rin and Emily, throwing out a bark, his feelers clapping together, using Helping Hand for those he considered an ally.

Well that confirms it they were most certainly after her and it seems as though the commotion has caused other trainers in the area to come to their aid as well with the new girl and her Beartic joining the battle. Emily would rather for other people to not get dragged into her mess not but between Arianna and rin that's no longer going to be possible, so what's one more. Mr. Zippy continued to stare at Rin with its Dark gleaming eyes the possed doll now being rather untrusting of the stranger now that the truth has come out about him. Mr. Zippy would then go on to break free from Emily's grasp. "Mr. Zippy! No!" The reckless doll would continue to not follow his owner's orders going after the grunts Magtmite. The Doll would lunger towards the flying magnet ball with a Shadow Claw. Magtmite would fall slightly backward retaliating with a brief Screech witch Mr. Zippy isn't even affected by, to begin with. "Mr. Zippy stop please! sigh why do you have to be so protective over me." Emily would walk closer to RIn staying behind him and the others "If your going to fight at least use your better stat. Mr. Zippy use Shadow Ball!" The cursed Doll would nod at hearing the order as a shadowy smoke leek out of his mouth unzipping a moment later revealing a ball of dark energy heading right for the poor magtmite.

Hailey Krauss​

A Magnemite, Mightyena, Zorua, and a Carvanha. The type match ups weren't exactly favorable for Hailey, but also weren't unfavorable. Then again, this wasn't a battle she planned on being strategic in. The other Trainers in the area seemed to be more focused on brute force as well, it seemed, and they all sent forth a variety of Pokemon. None of them seemed to be Ice-types though, so, sadly, any hail shenanigans were out. While a few of them stood alongside Beartic, ready to attack, others took position on the sides of the opponents, and one even stood in front of the Trainers to act as a final guard.

The first to make a move was actually a Banette. It struck the opposing Magnemite with a Shadow Claw, much to its Trainer's chagrin. The girl seemed to be on board for the attack moments later though and commanded it to use another move, this time Shadow Ball.

A smile spread across Hailey's face when her Pokemon was buffed by an ally Sylveon's . "Alright, Beartic! Use Icicle Crash on Mightyena!" the ginger called. The white bear let out a roar before stomping on the ground. Large icicles formed above the black quadruped and fell down towards it. The future Gym Leader's eyes scanned their surroundings, noting the stalls that were set up in the market and the tight space they were confined to. "Hey, let's try not too let our partners go too wild, okay?" she addressed the Trainers who stood beside her. "The police should be here any minute since you sent out the distress signal. We don't want to do too much damage and end up in trouble as well."

  She was pissed. How dare they try to justify themselves! They were obviously lying, why should she trust people who were obviously here to harass Emily? She stuck her middle finger up at them.
  
  “IDIOTS HERE TO HARASS CHILDREN SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO EXPECT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY!”
  
  As they called out more pokemon she couldn’t help but worry for the little darlings. If their trainers were such losers then they were probably in a lot of fights. She let out a whistle and watched as her pokemon responded, shifting their pincer attack. Ruffles soared to the sky as he flew around them.
  
  “Now RUFFLES AERIAL ACE!”
  
  Her baby was a beauty with quick reflexes as he rammed into the back of the woman’s head before flying back away. Hehehe. The fools thought they’d be safe just cause they had pokemon? Rule one of the journey, you didn’t have to play fair against criminals.
  
  Zoro was running circles doing his best to dodge the four rival pokemon and take some of the heat off Celeste and Ruffles. Her Zoro was forever a brave one. She charged in with him, tapping the other Zorua before running to avoid their turning around. If the circumstances were better she’d set up a playdate after.

Team Plasma Grunts​

The four Pokemon that belonged to the Grunts squared up. They all put on their meanest faces, but there were glimpses of worry in their faces. After all, there was a whole horde of Pokemon about to chase them down.

And then the charge happened and the four had no choice.

Magnemite - Level 29
28/58 HP - Screech, Spark, ???, ???
The Magnemite found itself up against the Banette, Mr. Zippy, and smacked with a powerful Shadow Claw that had been buffed by a Helping Hand. In turn, thinking quickly and unable to wait for it’s master’s order due to the chaos, it used Screech to try and rattle the ghost-type pokemon with the high-pitched noise. Nothing occurred and a Shadow Ball smacked into it’s metallic body. After a quick bounce off the ground and a shake, electricity coated it’s body before attempting to throw a Spark at Mr. Zippy.

Mightyena - Level 54
67/151 HP - Taunt, ???, ???, ???
Red eyes dashed across the charging Pokemon coming at them, looking for what the Mightyena determined to be the easiest to pick off. He wanted to lunge at the Rufflet that came soaring overhead above him, but an Icicle Crash, hurting more than usual, stopped him mid-lunge and he plummeted back to the ground. With a snarl, he reared red eyes to his aggressor, Hailey’s Beartic.

With a hard huff, his sharp claws dug at the ground as his fur stood on end. Red eyes flashed and a smug look came to Mighyena's face as he attempted to use a Taunt on the Beartic. If he suspected Icicle Crash every time, he felt he could dodge it!

Team Plasma Grunt Girl
16/74 HP
To say she wasn’t expected a Pokemon to be the one to attack her might have been an understatement. One moment, she was trying to keep an eye on her Zorua in the clash, the next, she was on the ground, dazed, a sharp pain on her head as blood oozed between her fingers from Ruffle’s Aerial Ace attack used against her.

With a grunt and a curse at a breathy whisper, she moved to stand back up, weary now of the skies above her, “Fuck. We weren’t originally here for her.” With a quick glance around, it seemed none of their Pokemon were going to guard them, enveloped in their own fights in the moment.

Zorua - Level 19
23/23 HP
Red paws patted on the ground as she found herself released from her ball, only to see a wall of Pokemon ahead of her. Blue eyes darted, then she looked back at her trainer, confusion marked across her face. Quickly, the chaos took over and she found a Zorua, Zoro, poking her from behind as she was trying to keep up with where he was going, along with the locations of the other Pokemon. Without direction, she was a little lost. She felt like she was having Torment used against her with Zoro’s quick agility, to which she yipped her frustration. Her ears flickered, hoping to hear some form of direction. Was this a battle? It was, right? Or was this a playfight? With no direction, she sunk her front end down, her back end up in the air as she bowed at Zoro. The tap to her from Arianna distracted her as she did a hop-turn to see what poked her. Icicles crashed nearby, causing her to realize that this might actually be a battle.

Carvanha - Level 14
0/16 HP
Once released, the Carvanha took in the sight, and then turned around to stare at his trainer, before turning back to see the wall of Pokemon charging. Jaws chattered and he felt a challenge rise in his chest. With a flick of his fins and shake of his spine, he found himself avoiding an Icicle that hit his Mightyena buddy. With a snap of his jaws, he attempted to go after the Beartic, but found an electric current run through him by Darling the Flaaffy, surprising him as he took the ThunderShock to the fin.

Accidental KO

Team Plasma Grunt Guy
That ThunderShock wasn't intended for Carvanha, as it seemed the Flaaffy had a different being in her sights. It was him. The Thundershock was far from a miss, and his Carvanha just happened to be close enough for the electricity to jump to the water-type. Electricity ran through the guy as he convulsed and fell to the ground, teeth grinding from the effort. Darling seemed like this was personal, as she was soon charging after the Team Plasma guy on the ground.

Rin​

Rin had to give up any attempts in stopping Darling or Sweetpea from their attempts. At least Angel was sticking beside him, and it seemed his support move was extremely beneficial to their side.

It was unfortunate that the poor Carvanha happened to be collateral to Darling’s fury. Darling had not intended on getting the water Pokemon mixed up in her attack, but her control on electricity while upset still personified her laziness. Darling didn’t wait for the Team Plasma guy to get back up before she was talking the man and chomping up his arms, despite not having a true bite attack in her arsenal.

“Fucking, get this fucking thing off of me! Carv-... Mightyena!”

Mightyena had only responded with a growl as he was too focused on the Beartic that halved his health in one move. If his trainer was so tough, he could handle a pink fluffy thing.

After assessing the situation, Sweetpea had determined the true threat, and that was being the Mightyena. The Zorua seemed like a baby, and lost without direction. The Carvanha was already out, and the Magnemite was struggling against Mr. Zippy. With the Beartic seemingly having the Mightyena under control, she looked menacingly at the girl on the ground as she stalked forward, her tail still glowing purple from an unreleased Poison Tail.

Angel, feeling Rin’s distress about the whole situation, released his feelers from his hold on Rin and jumped forward, landing on Sweetpea’s back, smacking her forehead with his feelers.

The new girl had a point about not wanting to get in trouble, and a huge Goodra threatening to use her poison tail against a person could be trouble enough.

The Magnminte having gotten hit by one of Mr. Zippy's shadow balls returns the attack with a simple spark hitting the doll for a bit of damage. Mr. Zippy's fabric now scorching from the electric damage something they would have to iron out later. "Strange that should have been enough to take it out?" Emily tapped her chin for a moment in thought he was better in special right or did she think that purely because he's a ghost. "Oh! that's why you use your claws all the time." The possead doll stared back at his trainer with an annoyed look on its face if he could talk it would probably go something like 'Child sometimes I don't know about you or It really took you that long to realize that.' something of the like. "S sorry I'm still new at this use Shadow Claw Mr. Zippy!" Emily cheered as the doll's claw starts to glow and slashes right into the iron ball throwing right back at the trainer's head. The doll lands back onto the ground in a giggle at the possible defeat of its opposite. Mr. Zippy then holds out its hand up and moves it in a way of saying 'come at me.' "Mr. Zippy don't try to take on too much your hurt remembered," Emily begged from afar.

Hailey Krauss​

Official battle rules had been thrown out the window once the distress signal had been sent out. That was no issue to Hailey. Attacking Trainers, though? Even though her teammates were acting defensively, excessive force was still taken into account by the laws when people were defending themselves.

"Hey! Don't attack the Trainers!" the ginger called out. When responding to a distress signal, the League rules stated that Trainers were only meant to hold off hostile actors until the authorities arrive, or until they stop their attack and flee. The girl by no means was a lawyer, but since Gym Leaders did assist law enforcement when necessary, she had made sure to study up on the official rules.

"Wha- hey!" Hailey reached out a hand as the other redhead in the group ran forth into the fray. Thankfully she didn't go on to attack one of the Pokemon herself, as Pokemon abuse was also considered when acting in self-defense, but poking the opponent to distract it was not the safest thing to do either.

It wasn't a thought she should have had as a future Gym Leader, but seeing just how chaotic the group she had rushed to help had gotten made her wish she hadn't jumped in to help at all. Hailey gulped, imagining a person or Pokemon on the opposing team getting significantly injured, and herself getting lumped in with the other three when the authorities arrived. It would certainly tarnish her record, and since Gym Leaders were meant to be model citizens, she would never be able to achieve her dream!

It seemed the large Dragon-type was moving forth to attack one of the Team Plasma grunts as well, but thankfully another one of the Pokemon attempted to stop it. Her Beartic having fallen for Mightyena's Taunt, was seeing red with its eyes solely on its antagonizer. But after not receiving a command for a considerable amount of time, it couldn't help but glance back at its Trainer.

That was because Hailey didn't know what to do. She was here to defuse the situation, not turn the tables on their opponents and make them the victims. She ended up still not issuing her Pokemon an order, instead looking from side to side to her current allies and saying, "you have to get your Pokemon under control! The police are on their way and they'll take us in as well if we hurt them, even if they started it!" The ginger waited to see how the others would react, hoping she wouldn't need Beartic to step against the people she was trying to help.

  Woah. Man, this was turning into a real bar brawl. It’d been a long time since she’d seen one, but her mother was never one to step down and neither was she! She still had to take a quick jump out of the action when she saw moves being flung around. She couldn’t afford to take one of those, she might be brave but she was still a squishy damsel.
  
  She let out a loud catcalling whistle as she moved back hoping to draw back the baby Zorua’s attention as well. It seemed that Ruffles was content to circle the woman screeching intermediately as a threat to try anything funny and get attacked again. She heard the screeching of the new girl said not to attack the trainers and felt herself getting annoyed. This girl never heard of time, place, and occasion huh?
  
  “THEY’RE UNREGISTERED AND HOSTILE PERSONS NOT TRAINERS. THIS IS SELF-DEFENSE, YOU IDIOT.”
  
  She took a look back to Zoro who seemed content to try to take some swipes at the mightyena to keep them from focusing on any of the others too long.
  
  It seemed like Celeste was going in fast to help as she positioned herself in the center of the action. Oh no. She knew what Celeste was going for and with the chaos it was going to be trouble.
  
  “Zoro! Watch out! EVERYONE LOOK AWAY!”
  
  She threw her hands over her face and turned away as she heard Celeste’s cry.
  
  Dazzling Gleam was always so bright. Man Celeste must really wanna stop them all to use that.

Magnemite - Level 29

With the Spark hitting it’s mark, the Magnemite fluttered in the air, but knew better than to drop it’s defenses. This was personal, and it was growing annoyed that a ghost type was doing actual damage against its steel body. Was it the power of friendship? Or a level gap? Obviously, the level gap. After all, it was facing a final evolution and Magnemite could still evolve two times.

A goopy, purple leg smacked into the back of Magnemite as Sweetpea ran past it, knocking it off balance, allowing another Shadow Claw to its face. The Magnemite was thrown back, hitting the girl grunt right in the head, falling to the ground and didn’t get up. It just stared up at the sky, defeat plain in it’s eye, it’s magnets drooping.

Mightyena - Level 54
57/151 HP - Taunt, Crunch, ???, ???

With the taunt seemingly being a success, the Mightyena prepared himself to evade a move that would be thrown by the Beartic, but nothing came out. The dark wolf Pokémon rolled his red eyes before moving the front of his body close to the ground. With a growl, he lunged and went to win a Crunch on the Beartic that didn’t seem to know how to defend itself.

He did note Darling heading for his trainer, but the Beartic seemed the bigger threat. And the big Pokémon (because he was aware that he’s the strongest of the four) deal with the bigger threats. As for Sweetpea, meh, it wasn’t headed for the male trainer so, whatever.

A swipe from Zoro then took Mightyena's attention. With a few new claw marks to go with the frozen tufts of fur, he went to also aim a Crunch on Zoro. He ignored the glowing ball in the sky that was Celeste.

Team Plasma Grunt Girl​

The warning screech from Ruffles kept her attention as she also side-eyed her partner. Biting her lip, she was starting to feel a bit more frantic. They weren’t originally there to get into a fight. They just happened to run into some interested Targets and look where they were!

Next time: bringing more backup.

“Kira! We need t-”

Thunk!

Magnemite to the face and she was on the ground.

Suffice to say, she probably won’t be waking up for a moment.

At least they had some intriguing intel now.

Zorua - Level 19
23/23 HP

As Zoro moved on to her Mightyena friend, she released her bow.

Then the Magnemite flew past her face, causing her fur to quickly stand in end as she froze, one paw in the air, ears standing erect as she felt like a statue.

She heard her trainer’s voice get cut short.

With her eyes flicking to her, she then felt panic sink in as she watched her trainer’s body sink to the floor.

Ignoring Arianna’s shout to look away because of what Celeste was about to do, the Zorua ran to her trainer’s side, nosing at her face.

Team Plasma Grunt Guy, Kira

With a grit of his teeth, Kira forced himself to sit as he wrestled against Darling, whom threatened another shock as tingles flashed across her wool and skin.

If Mightyena wasn’t going to help… be shot a quick glance towards the girl, only to see her bleeding on the ground.

With a curse under his breath, he pushed Darling away and scampered up, recalling both of his Pokémon and staggering to the girl and Zorua, he stood in front of her as Sweetpea loomed overhead, Angel now tugging on her forehead to no avail.

“Stop! We give!” He shouted.

A snort was the response as Sweetpea reeled back and smacked the whole lot of them anyway. Except the Zorua. She jumped out of the way when she saw it coming.

And thus, the Team Plasma group minus Zorua went blasting off into the sky to lick their wounds when they would eventually land. Somewhere.

Rin and Company​

Thwack!

So much for stopping Sweetpea from swinging after Celeste would potentially release her bright light, which thusly would have blinded anyone looking at her.

All of Rin’s Pokémon caught the warning and had looked away in time.

Blasting off and probably purple with poison, and blind and bloody to boot, they were quickly gone from sight.

An unfortunate thing since the police probably could have interrogated them; however, Rin felt relief instead. If those two opened their mouths to the police…

There was one “enemy” left and that was the Zorua, rubbing at her eyes.

Rin looked at Hailey and shrugged, “When it comes to Plasma, the police often don't care what happens to them.” In my experience. He wouldn’t dare say that last sentence out loud.

On the other hand, Arianna and Emily probably gathered enough information to grasp that he is or was a member of that horrid group.

Darling came running over to Rin, plopping down and sitting on his feet. She had static still running through her wool, so he had received a small static shock before it completely dissipated.

Sweetpea kept guard, staring at the spot in the sky that Plasma got shot into.

Angel went over to the Zorua to console her.

With a sharp intake of breath, he looked at Arianna and Emily, waiting for the switch to flip. Or Hailey to point fingers.

He wanted his past to stay his past, but that wouldn’t be possible. He would have to face up to what he had done, but he wasn’t going to be the one to speak first.

  Team plasma blasting off again! Drat. She threw her hands on her hips with annoyance. In the wake of Celeste’s dazzling gleam, it seems that only the single Zorua was left. Now she had to deal with the slightly frightened faces of the ongoing passersby; it seems that they’d begun to feel at ease enough to start talking. She twirled to the crowd and curtsied lightly pulling on the edges of her skirt.
  
  “APOLOGIES GUYS. As a Rising Star trainer, I Arianna, will never let bullies terrorize any city I pass. -Isn’t that right guys?”
  
  She directed the last question to her pokemon beside her. Each chirped or growled in agreement. Like trainer like pokemon they say! She let a wide smile pass her face as the people seemed to start to break off slowly to return to their lives.
  
  “Alrighty! I’d call that a tentative success…. Though its bad that they were so bold. Good thing we could handle it though! It would be a problem if we had needed the help of a more veteran trainer. The only Ace I know already was making his way to the next town.”
  
  She reached down to pet the Zorua left behind as Angel came to comfort her. Zoro came over as well sitting nearby but leaving all of the consoling to Angel. Ruffles made his way into the Zorua's face as he perched on Arianna’s shoulder.
  
  “Aww there there girl. You don’t need to worry. You hungry girl?”
  
  She went to pull out some snacks from her bag uncertain of how well the Plasma grunts treated the pokemon they traveled with waiting til the Zorua had her fill. She pushed up on her knees and stood again.
  
  “You’re a pretty one aren’tcha. It's too bad you got tangled up in those guys who harass children.”
  
  She faced the others with a smile when she heard Rin gasp.
  
  “You okay there Rin? They mess with ya before or something?”

Emily Sapphire

With the fight now finished Mr. Zippy would cross his arms in victory as it lets out an evil chuckle seeing its opponents fly off in the distance. Emily would walk over and simply grab and picked up her little doll friend. "I thought I told you, you need more rest cant be over existing yourself like this." Mr. Zippy would give her somewhat of an annoyed look as it holds up one of its hands showing shadowy energy come from it. "Oh don't give me your ghost lecture again your still a pokemon you have energy just like the rest of us." She holds her stuff friend closer to her chest hugging him tightly "But think you." The two would look over at the now lone Zorua. Mr. Zippy was about to jump out of her hands to go finish the job Emily simply shook her head. Without its masters, it's likely no longer a threat to the group. Mr. Zippy would then turn his attention to Rin giving him a glare. Emily would pull him closer so that he couldn't try anything. "You were once one of them, weren't you? That's why you are so against seeing pokemon fight you were a true believer to the cause Team Plasma claimed to they were fighting." She would slowly approach him and glances up at his eyes. "Your running from your past just like me."
