    Attached to your acceptance letter, you will find a a list of courses and clubs, your dorm number, a list of supplies, and other information that you need to start off the school year. Welcome, future stars!

    Settled in Odaiba, Japan, Hoshigayume International Academy is a high school focused on helping students from all over the world forge a path for themselves in life, while also allowing them a taste of show business. The current director of the school is Shimizu Aiya, a graduate of the school's education course and a former producer of a popular unit that went on to become professionals. Courses at the school include the general course, education course, writing course, technology course, music course, science course, and many others.

    The school has many festivals that celebrate the cultures of all students, all of which allow for performances to take place. At the end of each semester, the Sparkling Stage Festival, also known as the 'Repayment Festival' during the final semester, is a big showcase of every idol's talents. It is also used as a way to give thanks to the graduating third years and to wish them well on their paths in life.

    - Anime styled faceclaims only. Characters will be 15-16 for first years, 16-17 for second years, and 17-18 for third years. Staff members are allowed to be created. Please keep in mind your characters' ages. Don't try and use Klee from Genshin impact as a 30 year old teacher. She is a baby.
    - Multiple characters are allowed.
    - This is LGBT+ friendly. Students of any gender and sexuality are allowed, and units will not be restricted to being same-sex only and can be formed between anyone.
    - As this is an international school, students of any ethnicity are allowed. However, it is preferred that they are able to fluently speak Japanese and their names are written Surname Forename, or with the last name first, in applications.
    - Units will be formed during OOC plotting-wise, and will be either pre-established (with new members joining) or formed during the RP depending on the leader + other members and the like. I don't have a hard limit on the amount of people in a unit, but solo idols are also allowed.
    - Please ask about courses not listed, just to be safe. My brain is empty sometimes (aka a lot of times) so I know I haven't come up with every single thing.

    Shin tries his best to come off as manly, and in the process, he probably ends up overcompensating. Being perceived as feminine makes him uncomfortable due to his fear of being forever stuck as his Aoi persona. He ends up sacrificing and repressing parts of himself in order to appear as masculine as possible, and sometimes the trade off isn't worth it in the end. Unfortunately, he's very well aware that even after it was revealed to the public that he was actually a boy, his main draw for his fans are his feminine characteristics. He's working on finding a balance between who he wants to be and what sells.

    His mother's overbearing nature had an effect on him. He finds it hard to be independent and often relies on others for help. He feels embarrassed when he ends up in a situation he cannot deal with himself, especially if it's something that most people his age reasonably can. Having grown up in essentially the lap of luxury, he can be pretty clueless to the struggles of everyday people. He never means to look down on anyone, but due to his ignorance, it can often come off that way.

    On stage and on set, he's confident and can easily assert himself to get what he needs, but in day-to-day life, he's actually relatively shy. He tries his best to hide it, as he feels this makes him appear more feminine. He also tries to hide any discomfort or sadness he feels for the same reason, usually attempting to respond and cope with humor. If he feels disrespected by someone, or more importantly if he is perceived as having been disrespected, he'll get aggressive. Due to him being, well, himself though, this is akin to an angry chihuahua. Once again, it's all for the sake of maintaining his masculinity.
