Fantasy Mitheria: The Call

Foreigner in which way? There are two sorts of characters: Mitherians (which are native to the fantasy world this story is set in) and the people that were transported from Earth. Until we find out what's going on with Musician, we're not taking another Earth native... and I am leaving the decision of who replaces that character up to Elle entirely, but it should be a female.
As to Mitherians, they are all of the world Mitheria but they can be from one of the nations outlined. If they are from Larune or Sostial they need to go through me first, while characters from Cerulia or Nazrael go through Elle. They can be from a far off country on Mitheria that's not on the map of your own design. As to skepticism... well, they can be skeptical of the star myth, but should they chose to leave the party at any point I know my characters at least aren't going to chase them down to convince them of their cause. I very strongly suggest if you join that you have a Mitherian with a decently good reason to be in Sostial that would also have some interest in helping the stars (curiosity, moral obligation, overactive need to protect, etc.)!

Yeah... I checked, but I can't find anything on ANY of the countries. I even clicked on the boxes that have the names in them. Nothing.


What he is in particular is a native to the frozen north, a sailor and warrior by heart, and a young one at that. He is here for two reasons: To prove himself as a mighty warrior and so earn the title of a man in his society and to help keep a valued trade partner for his country on its feet. He is, however, disbelieving about the "stars" thing, a fact that isn't exactly helped by his innate distrust - and general disdain - for magic of any sorts.


The character himself is a total badass when compared to most normal folk, but refuses to use magic. In fact, everybody where he comes from hates magic. It's part of their culture, but helps contribute to their barbaric appearance in other Mitheria natives' eyes.

In fact, he would be here with a bunch of other people from his country as their bolster the Sostial army's ranks. My guy (lets call him Erik in the Nordic tradition) would split off from the crew from his longship and would be searching for glory. Or maybe he organizes a fight with one of the stars to prove that they are posers, has his crew mates stand as witnesses and sets the deal so that if the star loses he has to public tell the country's people that he's a fake and if Erik loses then he has to travel with them and admit that they are the real deal. Heck, we could spice it more and have him use a whole town as his witnesses for their epic duel.

You guys seriously have no idea how happy I am that I have found people that are way better than I am at all this. I mean, I actually have something to work towards! I've stopped reading books that I find randomly because I can't find any good ones anymore, I've been mostly disinterested in the RP's around here, but this? This is what I've been looking for.

Oh no, I totally get that. It's just that I can't join them. They invariably fall apart and crash into the ground either as a burning wreck or just an unmanned ship, and I've seen it too many times to ignore that fact. Heck, even a lot of the better ones do it. I was running three different games that were going well, 'cept that in two of them people stopped responding and with my latest I stopped having time to GM it. Sucked balls. People were writing really well, too.

Yea, I dunno. She was gone for the entire month of November until last week. She friended a few people on facebook, which she said she'd only do if she quit. A few of my friends knew something about her leaving, but I don't know much first-hand. *shrug* But I would make it safe to assume she is gone.
