• hello everyone! i'm meta/elle. i'm a english student and i've recently had some cravings to write things other than academic essays. the workload at uni is pretty high, but i'd love to start a long-term roleplay with posts once or twice a week. i have a mix of interests, but romantic subplots are really my jam no matter the genre. in that regard, i'm happy to do any pairings, though i'm most experienced with f// and m//
  
  apart from that fcusing on character dynamics is one of my favourite parts of roleplay. generally, i write in third person past, and depending on my workload and post frequency i can write anywhere between three to seven paragraphs per response, but quality is always more important than quantity. outside of responses, i really enjoy making moodboards and playlists for characters and scenes!

  i'm an adult so i'm not really comfortable roleplaying with minors, especially since i enjoy including romance with plots.
  
  ◆ participate in plotting / ooc chat
  for me, active ooc is really important to a roleplay surviving, so i prefer to chat a bit about the plot as the roleplay's going on. i wouldn't expect constant chatter, just discussion of the roleplay to give things more direction.

  while i can sometimes write reams, i would never expect my partners to. still, i need a good three paragraphs to stay invested in a roleplay.

  ◆ did it hurt? angel/demon | can you tell that i love good omens?
  angels and demons are of the same substance, made in batches. both serve a theological purpose, after all. the angel is cold, cruel, even; they are sick of humanity’s bullshit. the only people they feel any sympathy or compassion for are the oppressed. the demon is warm: they like humanity’s particulars. the angel had tried to get promoted – they had no intention of dealing with humans for much longer. the only response they got was being fallen – they are still everlasting, but are estranged from the family, so to speak. still, they hear through the grapevine that god wants to shut this whole earth business down. the angel goes begging the demon for help – they may not like earth, but it's home.

  these girls have been at this college in the hills for too long. they have far too much money at their disposal. they love each other too much, and hate each other too much, and, soon, one of them will be dead. the rest only have to survive, to exist, for one more sordid year.

  the queen is married to her country; it is the only way the country will let her survive. and she needs to survive, if she’s going to get out. one cannot plan an escape with a witch if one is dead.
  ◆ we all fall down general weirdness | mild horror | small town vibes
  weird things are happening in florin, a small town with very little importance. people’s pets are acting weird; deer start emerging from the forest regularly during the day; people’s children get mysteriously sick before bouts of energy. one day, an employee at the town’s local arcade shows up to work in a panic. when they show their coworker, it’s clear why – they've suddenly developed an extra set of eyes, which have the faintest glow. that’s quickly overshadowed when a child’s body is found in the street, entrails in a nearby deer’s mouth.
