Rei looked over the the guy next to her feeling confused. He thought this was a joke? Even if this was, Rei didn't want anything to do with it. She had so much to look forward to tonight and who knows how long they've been sitting here, they could've missed the party far all she knew. Taking a few seconds to understand everything he just said, the girl took a deep breath realizing she wasn't going to die. That being said she still wasn't happy about it. She didn't even get to show off her costume before all of this happened and now she was stuck in this place, forced to play some stupid game.
Not to mention she definitely didn't know this guy or any of his friends since she only knew a couple of people. Her grip tightened around the brick the more she thought about it, her fear was replaced with anger and she was already vowing to give whoever set this up a piece of her mind. Though a small part of her still felt a sense of danger since she couldn't think of anyone who could have put her here and there something wasn't right about the way the woman on the speakers sounded. The feeling got worse after Oakner was shocked by his cuff. She looked at the thing around his ankle, feeling her lip quiver, her eyes started welling up with tears.
The thought of this being real sent shivers up her spine. But if that was the case she had to work fast and if anger and fear were gonna drive her than so be it. "Are you serious..." She muttered glaring at Oakner, tears streamed down her face as she completely ignored his question. Rei huffed turning her head to look away from the boy and up at the ceiling. She wanted to yell at him, but that wouldn't help anything. She thought to herself, trying to get a grasp of the situation. He seemed to be unaware of the whole thing in the beginning so she couldn't blame him for her being here, but why would some strangers lock her up in here with him? He seemed less scared and more chill about the situation but from what she could tell he thought someone he knew put him here. She shook off her thoughts, knowing well that 30 minutes wasn't a lot of time.
Rei looked around the room laying eyes on the space in the wall where the brick once was, seeing something shining as the light flickered on and off of it. The girl examined further, squinting before realizing she was staring at a key, maybe she should've worn her glasses.... She let out a sharp sigh, feeling slightly relieved that she wouldn't have to risk hurting herself with a brick to try and get the handcuffs off. She reached in the wall, grabbing the key before turning to look at the hand cuffs. Putting the key in the key hole, she held her breath hoping it would work and it wasn't for something else.
She looked back at Oakner, glaring at him once again. "If it really was your friends who set this up, I'm going to hurt them..." She grit her teeth, giving an empty threat before looking back down at the cuffs, fiddling with the key. "Just unlock..." She spat, now glaring at the cuffs.
